Solomon Agesander
Name:
Solomon Agesander
Age:
36
Gender:
Male
Race:
Human
Weapon:
Guqin
A hefty metallic instrument condensed into a suitcase when not used. The weapon itself has two functions, a ranged offensive attack, and a defensive giant shield. The instrument itself is a sleek grey color with black trimming and decorations along with actual gold lining the instrument in thin decorations depicting a well known legend in its art along the guqin and shield's body. In its compact form, it still operates as a regular suitcase (there are compartments on the guqin and shield all of the materials shift to when they transform).
Cerberus' Tongue
Solomon prides himself in his musical prowess and that pride directly translates in his combat capabilities, especially when they depend on said skill. Cerberus Tongue's main component is heavily reliant on his semblance, binding and twisting them into smoky amalgamations directed via the instrument's music itself. It's also heavily reliant on Solomon's ability to improvise, but years of practice has enabled him to prolong a musical piece for hours on end, should a fight last that long. When used, the music Solomon plays directs his legion of smoke that can condense and compact into human sized beings themselves. It has various functions, but the most used ones are when Solomon directs a legion of smoke minions to fight for him or he uses the large smoke he's able to produce as a weapon itself, flinging it around like a whip on a crazed melody. However, Solomon remains completely solitary when using his ranged attacks, and stopping his music altogether is the key axing the entire army of smoke minions.
The minions are numerous and near infinite in their resilience. They swarm their foes, weapons various and sharp to pierce and overwhelm. They don't do much damage alone, but due to their large numbers, work in a sort of rushed fashion to overwhelm their enemies. One hit usually takes them out, but within minutes are able to reform and continue their onslaught.
When releasing his semblance, Solomon can coat an entire battlefield into one giant ball of smoke, thick like a heavy fog. Using this, rather than condensing them into minions, Solomon's music and act to control the smoke, whipping it in sharp tendrils to attack and slice down Solomon's opponents. Due to the nature of his semblance, Solomon is able to directly feel anything that comes within the large cloud of smoke, meaning he'll know the exact movements and footsteps of each enemy. This can be argued to be the more powerful version of his weapon, as Solomon can safely predict where his enemy is going to be and act accordingly should they ever come close to finding him. When his music ceases, his abilities to control the cloud of smoke is rendered obsolete, though the cloud and his ability to track enemies within stays (as it is his semblance, after all).
Fortress on the Waters
The melee version of his weapon, Solomon flips his guqin vertical, with the top (where the strings are) facing him, grips the handle that immediately protrudes from between the strings, and transforms the weapon into a large shield. Though it's not necessarily the main feature, Solomon is still able to play the guqin, however he's limited to a few chords with how the entire thing is built. On the face of the shield slams down, decorated to look like a fierce canine with its hackles up with striking yellow eyes. From its mouth, the shield spouts a solid stream of smoke, though only in small increments when not actually used, pouring out to look like drool from the canine's mouth. Using Solomon's semblance, the smoke can be expanded into a large stream and, using the numerous amount of chords Solomon knows, can be sharpened or hardened to create various weapons that attack alongside the brute force of Solomon's shield. The shield just about 3/4's Solomon's height, acts as a large tower shield, and is strong enough to take quite a large amount of force and weight before they're able to get through to Solomon himself.

The semblance itself is rather simple: using already present smoke, Solomon is able to expand and produce a large amount more from it. That's pretty much all there is to it; most of its capabilities are woven into his weapon, though without it, he isn't exactly useless. Smoke is actually the way Solomon is able to see, as he lost his sight when he was younger in a tragic accident. Though, he can't exactly go around the academy blowing smoke everywhere, but no one can stop him in combat. However, if an individual were to inhale the smoke, though he isn't exactly able to control it from within an individual (expand it or multiply it), he's able to keep it within the individual's lungs and by doing so is able to track them. Think of smoke as an extension of Solomon, as he is able to feel, see, and sense through even the thickest clouds of smoke—the thicker the better. As well, unless someone contains the ability to do so or the equipment, it's very difficult to dissipate and disperse without Solomon first willing it. His classroom, though it doesn't much effect his students, is under a very thin haze at all times.
Personality:
Not necessarily what an individual would think would be a psychology teacher, Solomon can be labeled eccentric, if anyone were to condense him into one word. He's not the brooding, thoughtful one like everyone considers him to be (no, he leaves that bit to his significant other), but rather a kind and cheerful fellow. Optimistic, Solomon likes to few the world as full of chances and opportunities, but never one to be ignorant, he understand that not everything can be a good thing—though, most things can leave rise to greater things. But, Solomon is also rather filled with pride, for his own capabilities, but, oddly enough, mostly for those he cares for. It brings about the selfless side of him, as Solomon often finds himself willing to do things for people he loves merely because he loves them. This includes his myriads of students, should they wish to accept his help.
But, Solomon isn't a perfect individual, and one of his most defining traits is his stubbornness. Solomon is unyielding and relentless, almost inevitable, when he wishes for things to turn in his favor. This translates into battle, where it's often considered a positive trait, but outside of that, many deem him an immovable object when he puts his mind to something, or rather, when he simply wants something. Often, and this is when he considers a line crossed, Solomon can be rather underhanded and cruel—a very unpitying individual, Solomon's kindness only extends for people willing to help themselves and thrive off of other people willing to do things for them. Though, this does not refute Solomon's selfless characteristic, as he still does things for people, he is just unwilling to do things for people who simply expect it and make no effort to help themselves. When met with another of the same stubbornness, well, things have yet to be anything but bad for the surrounding people.
Adding onto that, Solomon is a rather self-deprecating individuals and often makes jokes at his own expense. He, though there are things he prides in himself, doesn't often hold himself in a good light and tends to point out his own issues more than others. It's one of the main reason Solomon often gravitates towards holding his pride in others and caring for them rather than himself. Though optimistic, such a cheery disposition often isn't enough for Solomon to remotely hold himself highly. Unfortunately, Solomon isn't one to make this specific trait public and often hides his own self-hating thoughts to himself.
Regardless of these traits, Solomon has a lot of love to give and sometimes little opportunity to give it. A man who often carries the burden for others and loaded down with it, can only be optimistic for so long. The world wares on even the happiest people, and though happy on the outside, sometimes things can get a little down for him in general. Luckily, he has someone to pick up the pieces.

Emblem:
A ferryman's rowboat with a tall, thin, and lanky figure rowing it with an extremely long oar. The boat itself is shaped to resemble the constellation Sagittarius, with the figure of a man at the bow where the boat juts up vertically just a few inches shorter than the man rowing the boat. It forms the body of a man that sinks and flows out to become the entire body of the boat; it draws its arms back, holding a long bow in its hands, ready to release the bow knocked onto the quiver.
Appearance:
A man of 6'0" even, Solomon is of an athletic build, and is considered bulky in comparison. His stature is that of a proud man, chest out and shoulders raised to pronounce him ever further. With a rigid jawline and hard features, Solomon is the epitome of masculinity, or he likes to think he is. It doesn't quite extend into his personality, as he isn't overwhelmingly macho, but Solomon has his moments. However, more so than that, Solomon often walks with a pep in his step, perpetuating his cheeriness and optimism through his movements and expression most of all. He radiates an air of comfort and care, as he finds himself more prone to acting as an individual's shield or personal counselor than an aggressor to the individuals who slight them, should they have been harmed in any way.
Suits are what make up most of his attire, that and a pair of rather dark rimmed sunglasses, with extremely dark shades to hide his eyes. Among many things, Solomon is particularly most ashamed of his stark, grey eyes, as each eye contains a deep scar that runs horizontal through each and over the bridge of his nose. So, he tends to hide them and is very touchy and snippy when people attempt to remove them or get him to remove them. Along with that, he's not fairly fond is his bowlegs and plush lips. His voice is a milky baritone, that is often likened to honey gliding a smooth surface. At least, that's what he says. His hair is also a sandy blondish brown with speckles of gray defined along his sideburns.
