I'd love to know if the armor summoned by the Hero's Armor card does anything other than grant some level of protection, and how much tougher does it make him considering the character doesn't have any form of super durability listed otherwise. I'd also like to know the abilities of the Beast Card summon. It says it's weaker than Ryan but Ryan doesn't really have any powers beyond "use card to do X or Y", so does that mean it's weaker than an average human? Also if one of the cards is "allows ryan and beast to attack at the same time", does that mean the beast isn't able to attack with Ryan unless the card is used?I appologise i didn't make it really clear on the armor providing protection , let's see if the rewrite on the card's description in the character sheet makes more sense now :) here is a copy of the rewrite
Hero's Armor:(only 1 per deck is allowed) http://www.pso-world.com/images/ep3/characters/kranz.jpg This card allows the user to activate their armor before a battle. the armor it's self will prevent mortal(lethal) injury, when activated, however there is a cool down time in between when he can use the card, the armor it's self increases Ryan's strength and durability to three times that of his normal. As for the chaotic Attack card i suppose i did a poor job of describing this card too, all this card does is allow ryan and his beast to perform special attacks using technique or attack cards at the same time, without this card ryan and his summon beast can not use both special attacks at the same time.
Yeah I've seen Kamen Rider Ryuki so that gives me a better sense for the abilities. Still not particularly clear on the beast summon though. Like, okay, it's weaker than your character with his armor on but what does it do, what are its abilities, its traits, how does it attack and whatnot? Contracted mirror monsters had a style to them, summoning Dragreder gave you a mechanized chinese dragon that spat fireballs, it definitely wasn't the same as summoning Destwilder and getting a humanoid with a tiger motif doing hit and runs with its claws.ok i see where i messed, up, Thankyou gods of the multiverse someone gets the idea of what i'm trying to do with my character!! I appriciate your help with my character sheet, i know i'm being a pain in the A** with not being quick on the uptake...
It's no problem at all bro, I'm just a stickler for detail since, ya know, if you don't write it out then we can't really know itlet's see if this description for the beast makes sense ;) This mechanical shadow beast lacks much strength but makes up for it in speed, using shadows and fire, however this beast relies on Ryan to activate it's special abilities using technique or attack cards, thus making up the majority of cards in Ryan's deck.
Okay so the technique and attack cards are used to trigger the summoned monster's special abilities. I'm not really seeing where the "shadows" bit comes into play there. Fire, yes, you have 3 of those but then you have two wind attacks, superspeed and double attack. And the summoned creature itself relies on being fast and what else? Does it have any particular method of attack? Any natural weapon? Those are good details to have. For example, you could describe Magnugiga (Torque's beast) as being very slow but very tough and having high damage attacks, and that would be correct but also miss out on the fact that its entire body is made up of firearms. Which is cool as fuck and very different from being a hulking but slow melee punisher like Thrust's Metalgelas. See how that makes a difference? Beyond detailing that, if at all possible I'd recommend using a larger picture of the creature if it's the same one as the card. Since it's gonna be actively showing up to fights and whatnot it'll really help players to know what it looks like in more detail. And this is a personal note, but I'd give it a name as well. It's an important part of the deck that's going to be showing up and acting on its own, it really should have more character to it than "the beast". At least something to call it would be nice.this better? Beast Card:(only 1 per deck) Sinow (Sin-o) http://www.pso-world.com/images/items/SINOW_BEAT-WITHOUTBARS.jpg This mechanical shadow beast lacks much strength but makes up for it in speed, using speed and fire, however this beast relies on Ryan to activate it's special abilities using technique or attack cards, thus making up the majority of cards in Ryan's deck. Other than it's unnatural speed Sinow is made entirely of metal and uses energy blades similar to that of Ryans, it's appearance of being large is often deceiving.
