Watching his portals fluctuate in power, no doubt due to the alien alloys of the mothership, MC got... well, Annoyed. while they did stay open for a small bit of time, MC couldn't bring any of them to speed in order to knock them off the ship. So instead he decided to just portal into the ship below him. An alarm began to sound when MC entered the ship,, and it became a game of cat and mouse as MC just portaled through wall after wall.

He held his breath as the Aliens checked his pod. but there was no time. the hatch opened and they alien held his lance towards his throat. He spoke in some sort of gargled language. He tried his own tongue: "Ni muno Basoth vuclech eh cho Implacton koekro, requol ieal rumso umja rog ac gurp cholo" It translates into: "My name is Basroth of the Implacton people, lower your lance and let us talk, there is no need for this violence" If the alien did understand His gesture then it took it as a threat. The lance was launched into where Basoth's head was located, luckily he moved his head to the side allowing the lance to miss. He honestly didn't want to fight, after all this was the mother ship and from his experience it was where the whole residence of the race lived. but he needed a way out. He doubled his size and kicked the alien in through the other wall. "I'm sorry, but it seems that you didn't see me destroy your previous fighter, I can easily destroy another alien." At that point he remembered where he was. he ran out to the deck of the hangar and saw where he was. he braced for a fight, turning his right arm into a sword and his left into a hammer. If a fight was coming he was ready

Running through the halls of the dropship you managed to find a large room crowded by boxes and other equipment, looking down you could see it lead to the outside via a ramp. But by being so close to the outside you could hear a loud alarm blaring, from what you could see the aliens on duty in the hangar were busy rushing to another area.
Your kick blasted the alien through the wall, his armor kept him in one piece, but he soon lost consciousness. Emerging onto the hangar deck you could hear a loud alarm sounding, causing most of the aliens to ignore you and rush to some other place on board the ship. Looking around you could see Hot Socks, though you didn't know his name at the time.
Oddly enough all the letters seemed to be in English, allowing you to easily pick your destination. However you found that you had no control over your ride as you felt a sudden lurching, as your ride came to a close you emerged in a fairly large room. A blue holographic globe floated in the middle of the room, surrounded by dozens of other aliens and their computer stations. The globe rotated slowly, if you looked closely you could see multiple glowing dots on the city. The large armored being from earlier approached you, trident in hand, and began to speak. "So you're our intruder. Did you think you could escape in our elevator system? If you did you are sorely mistaken." The being spoke in a deep, almost robotic voice, he then began to approach you. Aiming his trident at you he continued. "I know for sure the boss took care of the important ones, and found a way to keep their friends busy. So who the hell are you?"
After your display of bloody swordplay you began to feel more dizzier than before, perhaps you were using to much blood. Your attempt to summon and impale the aliens with your tentacles failed, however you seemed to have enough strength to knock them around; as demonstrated by some of the aliens slamming into their allies or simply into the ground. The alarm continues to blare loudly, perhaps you should begin moving again.
Your first encounter with an alien was fairly pleasant, considering that neither of you died. Your electrical blast rocketed the alien into his allies hard, causing the group to tumble and a few of them even bounced before losing consciousness. However the few that remained awake were severely dizzy, they brought their weapons onto you and fired, but their shots continued to miss.
They did appear to recognize your armor and weapon. Some of them quickly left, some seemed to be scared and looked to their allies for guidance, and some attempted a type of communication with you. Unfortunately your mother-box couldn't make any sense from it other than the words "sorry", and "orders". The language was either to different from what it was used too, or not a language at all.

Rei grinned. Hah, that got 'em! And it wasn't just the one who got knocked out! The ones who were still aware of themselves had managed to take aim and fire on her, but their shots went wide! Street Dragon quickly ducked low and sprinted to the side, hearing the alien projectiles streaking by around her. Her training by the clan back home made her skills in evasion excellent, needless to say she was adept at what she did. Suddenly twisting where she stood, waiting for the aliens to have to pause and adjust their aim, she gave them a toothy grin as she gripped her katana's sheath in one hand. She wasn't going to kill them, there was no need for that, but she had to draw her blade in order to use some of the weapon's more versatile functions... "Onore! Kore o tabeyo!" she cried, as electricity crackled out from the sheath, dancing in the air as the briefest glimpse of silver steel became visible. "Or if you don't understand Japanese... EAT THIS YOU BASTARDS!" Metal sang as Kouryu was drawn, and blue electricity crackled around it before unleashing itself forwards with an ear-splitting crack. The bolt roared towards the aliens, on a course to strike them all with a powerful, incapacitating shock.

As the alien foe herded crowds of civilians into their fantastical ships, a small pang of morality echoed throughout Masa. Typically he'd leave people to their own devices, after all, he was no hero. All the same, he couldn't let the invaders steal away with these people. At that moment, Masa climbed back onto his bike, revving it once and sending it into a magnificent charge, headed straight for the alien ship. As his vehicle roared closer, the aliens had finished their business, and the spacecraft had begun its slow ascent. Knowing that there was no longer any chance of boarding it from the ground, Masa focused his mind and moved to stand on the bike's seat, arms held perpendicular to his body to retain balance. Just feet from the open back of the spacecraft, Masa's bike had begun to lose its control, and wobbled from side to side as it continued forward. Knowing time was short, Masa summoned Locomotive Breath, whose sudden and powerful kick downwards skyrocketed Masa high enough to grasp the edge of the alien carrier, while at the same time destroying Masa's motorcycle. With his guardian's strength, Masa was able to slowly stand up, prepared to face the crew of the spacecraft as it soared through the cityscape.

River frees under the large alien's stare and she raises her hands as it aims the trident at her. Her eyes scan over the blue glowing orb back behind him and realize that the dots are the ships. They are being controlled from it. It's possible that if she can either freeze the system or somehow make it explode, it's possible that she could take down the ships from here. But before she could do that, she needed to deal with the big brute in front of her. Her eyes flicker with panic for a moment when he says the important ones. Does he mean the Justice League and Superman? Is that where they have disappeared to? She doesn't understand when he says the others, but if they are anything like the girl that nearly killed her on the drop ship, then she was not surprised. Finally he asks her who she is and for some reason, in all of this scary shit and the one battle that she has actually used her powers for, she smiles and laughs softly, looking down at her feet. Her arms drop by her side and immediately, the very little water from the air around begins to form around her hands. She looks up at him and says, "Me? I'm a nobody. Just a country girl from the outside of town." She grins at him and quickly launches a water ball directly at his face before freezing the floor directly underneath him. She dodges blasts from guards near the doors and she quickly freezes their hands together, trying to conserve water for the big project: whatever control system that have here for the alien ships. She runs quickly, dodges around aliens as they get up from their computers and she notices that all of the computers lead behind one doorway. She immediately thinks that it is the power room behind that door. She runs for it and freezes the lock that goes to it, breaking it with her fist as she does. She then kicks open the door, and slams it back shut, finding a nearby desk to shove in front of it. Hopefully that would hold them long enough for her to get what she needed down. She turns, hoping that she has not made a huge mistake.

Bolt smiled when he saw Press attempt to flee and he began to give chase. Even these so called heroes seemed to fear one such as he and Bolt loved it. He was going to get the respect that he and his fellow test subjects deserved. Bolt was crazy, but he thought his madness was necessary to rise up against the tide of destiny. Now he was a powerful criminal and mercenary who had power make his dreams come true. Nikolai was going to make this hero's life a living hell. "Hay hero! You're still running away like a coward and didn't I tell you to not turn your back on me?" Nikolai called out as he chased after Press and charged up another electric attack. Bolt smiled as he manipulated the energy into a large hand made of pure electrical energy that was giving Press the middle finger. A few second later the hand would change into a bolt of lightning and fly straight towards Press. If it hit then Press would be electrocuted very badly and it would knock the hero out of the sky. He noticed that the hero had turned to face him and Bolt cursed at what the hero was about to do next. If Press attacked then he wouldn't be able to defend against it ---- Kobby smiled at his sucess and was glad that his attack had worked. The rhino disappeared back to the spirit world and he gave it his thanks for coming to assist him. He made sure that the people were safe before he began to focus on the other alien ground forces. He summoned his flute and began to play a beautiful tune. Like magic a large flock of African bird spirits and began to swarm and attack the aliens. Even though they wouldn't do that much damage the main intention for the flock was confuse and distract the aliens from the innocents.

"You have recognised your error, which is good." Her tone was unchanging, constantly relaxed and almost uncaring about the developments as if she were never under threat to begin with, but not emotionless. It was honestly a bit of a bluff, but not completely. She was no where near as powerful as some of the others on her homeworld, but she had the excuse of being 18 years of age. "Now, take me to your leader. Bellona of Apokolips-" she name-dropped not so subtly, "would have words with them." Her eyes settled back into a pure white, taking her first steps towards them. Bellona wasted no time, marching past the remaining aliens and into the portal which had carried them to her, giving the impression that she was leading them to her destination rather than the other way around. Charisma and intimidation were a game of acts and feeling, both of which went together hand in hand, and the feeling she was giving out was that of an alien that should probably be listened to - at least if it's a poor alien crewman. Upon emergence, she spoke to whomever might have followed her through. "I do not understand your tongue beyond the occasional word, creatures. Speak short - what are you?"

An exit..., Hot Socks thought. It wasn't a good idea for him, though. He probably couldn't survive the fall. He was too heavy. A loud alarm played. Was that me?, he thought. He turned to see all of the guards flooding past where he was. Something must have been causing a ruckus on the ship. Seeing how he was still stuck in the ship, he waited for the guards to pass. Once they appeared to be all gone, he crept out of the door, making his way around. As he walked through the alarmed hallways (which covered his usually clunky footsteps), a single guard came running. He was late. Hot Socks crept into a single room, and as the guard came by, Hot Socks grabbed him. The guard was taken by surprise, and couldn't muster the strength fast enough to fight back. Hot Socks threw him on the ground, and a large clang rang out. He had punched the alien in the head. Not enough to kill them, but enough to knock them out for a long while. The guard was armed with a shield and a small pistol. Hot Socks took the shield, and put it on his back. He took the pistol, and kept it under his cloak. He left the room to skulk around some more. After a minute or two of walking, he came into an interesting sight. Some generic guards, and one big ol' dude in a red suit. That must be the final boss", he thought. They seemed to be banging on a door, trying to get in. Hot Socks was quite curious of this, and peaked out a bit more. He accidentally banged his metal arm on the wall, getting the attention of all of them. "Uh. Hi.", he said in his metallic voice, all of the aliens looking at him.

Marilyn was fading fast. She ran, much faster now, away from the aliens; nearly tripping over her own feet multiple times. The ones that could still stand ran after her. She turned a corner, and found an open door right after the turn. She dove into it and slammed the 'close' button on the side of the panel. It slid shut completely just as the Aliens turned the corner. She was safe, for now. The Pale alien backed up against the closed door and slid down. Her breath was heavy. She slid her sword and tentacles back into their respective cuts, but trying to not bleed out was becoming taxing. It had been.... maybe a week since she'd had her proper home-planet food. The Human food offered to her here was... good. Delicious even. But it did not sate her hunger pangs. Her head hit the door behind her, sounding off in a Clank!. For the first time since she got here, she felt miserable. She couldn't do a god damn thing. It's no wonder she couldn't protect her friend... her planet... Her nose twitched as she sniffled and closed her eyes. Overtired, hungry, and a long, long way from home is what Marilyn is. It was then that a crackling sound pushed her out of her thoughts. Her eyes opened groggily, squinting at first in annoyance. Then her eyes opened wide. There, in the center of the room surrounded by electric force field, was a cluster of green crystals illuminating the room. She felt her mouth begin to water as she stood up, leaning against the wall for support. Could this be the ships power source? Then maybe... Maybe...! Marilyn felt her strength return as she ran over to the control panels in the room. Yes! The glass she had sensed, she thought it was the observation deck, but it was the observational windows surrounding this room to make sure the crystal was doing fine. She tampered with the buttons until the forcefield went down. She knew though, that it would still hurt to remove them from their respective pedestals. Regardless, she ran over to them. She took a moment to savor the preparation, how all the clusters were divided into plate sized portions all around the room. She was practically drooling as she readied her hands for the pain that would come as soon as she started digging in. She would have to work very fast, but she'd never been this hungry before. "Challenge Accepted." Marilyn was shocked harshly, but she didn't care. The crystals were swiped off the pedestals and devoured in an almost as soon as she gripped them.

The mothership passed over the small island it was hovering over previously and now continued moving closer to the city, while still above water, it would only be a matter of time until it reached the city.
As the lightening danced around you it seemed to do exactly as you willed it, stricking the remaining aliens in the chest it gave a satisfying crackle. The already disoriented aliens couldn't stand up to your attack and quickly fell backwards, their armor smoking slightly from your electrical attack.
You somehow managed to land in the drop-ship's hangar before it closed completely, how fortunate. Your powerful landing shook the ship slightly, but all appeared to be well, except for the part about being on an alien drop-ship. To the invaders you were simply another body to lock up, quickly drawing their weapons they began to rush at you, careful not to pierce their own ships hull.
If you studied your geography you would be able to tell that the dots were certain cities across the US, however it is unlikely there are any other ships. The water you blasted towards the tall being seemed to have no effect whatsoever. Freezing his legs seemed to merely stall him as it took him but a moment to break free. "Hmph" the alien grunted as he calmly marched through the ice. Unfortunately the room you stumbled upon was not the power room, however it did have multiple things scattered around the room, one of which was a thin pad with letters on it. But you wouldn't have enough time, the large being already seemed to be on the move as the door quickly shuddered under multiple hits. It would seem it would not last much longer.
Your motherbox seemed to manipulate the portal for you, in order to satisfy your wish of seeing their leader, the aliens that were brave enough to follow through simply gestured forwards as you spoke to them. Looking forward you could see the remains of what seemed to be an ice trap on the floor, multiple other aliens with frozen hands, and a large being with a golden trident on the verge of breaking through a door. The room itself had a large blue holographic globe in the middle, with multiple pulsating dots at certain points on the globe.
It would seem Kobby's tactics succeed as the aliens quickly trained their fire onto your spectral birds in an attempt to rid themselves of such an annoyance.
As you bit into the crystals, the power they were supposed to release into the ship released into you, the sheer power of the crystals forced you backwards. However, you were successful in removing the crystal you had grabbed, the crystals themselves were to big to group up in handfuls.

When Press turned around, he was faced with the sight of lightning boy already caught up to him and ready to deliver another blow. There was no longer any time to avoid the blow; all he could do was strike back before he was hit. Press fired his explosive lasers directly at Bolt the moment Bolt launched his electro ball. The projectiles passed each other and headed straight for their targets. As the electro ball neared Press, however, the ball was then absorbed into his hands. At first, Press was confused as to why that happened. Then he noticed the battery level went up slightly, and remembered his suit's ability to absorb power from other sources when its own power supply went below a certain amount. With all the flying and shooting he'd done today, no wonder the battery level had gone down so much. Glad for that stroke of luck, he readied himself for whatever came next, but then realized that the way he had absorbed power had damaged his palms. It may take a few moments for his suit to repair itself before he could fire lasers again. Well, at least Press knew what he had to do once the battle was over: upgrade his suit. At least, assuming he lived.

Thank you, Motherbox. It was a brief thought, and one directed at the device hooked to her side. Bellona was uncertain to the extent of the Box's sentience, but if they could appreciate, she wanted it to do just that. Would not want a self-aware piece of supertechnology being unhappy with her after all. She placed her hands behind her back trying her best to replicate the many poses she had seen her once-grand-leader take. It almost came naturally to her, but after a few moments she realised how...off it felt, to present herself in such a regal manner akin to his own. Taking a few steps towards the trident wielding alien, she spoke. "I had the unfortunate experience of having your soldiers aim their weapons at me when I landed. Not a good start to relations with Lord Darkseid, if I do say so myself." It left a sour taste in her mouth, but it was better than charging into a fight with an enemy she did not know. If she could extract some information from them then dissuade them to leave with word alone, then she would attempt it - and right now bluffing about her own relations with her people seemed to be the way. "However, all can be forgiven so long as you explain your reasoning for attacking..." the pause was unnoticeable, but long enough for her to consult the Motherbox. Where are we? ...Earth? I know of this place. Not a good place to be, Orion of New Genesis had taken liking to this place, as well as my own people. Better than where I was before, none the less. Communing with the device was one-sided, as it did not communicate in a 'language' as such, instead simply directly giving information and cutting out the middle man. She continued, her pause to slight it was almost unnoticeable. "Earth. Our Lord has taken interest in this world, after all." She spared a glance of her glowing eyes to Hot Socks, but nothing more. He did not appear to be affiliated with the invaders, nor did he appear to be a risk to her current 'role', unless he was a lie detector of some sort. Any more attention to him would break the act.

"The Great Food Heist" was, so far, less than successful. All that Scragglefur and his band of rats had been able to "secure" so far, had come from some fast food joint that Scragglefur didn't really care for. It was underwhelming, really. On top of the hostile vermin that didn't smell like humans, there were also other things running rampant today. It took great amounts of caution and care to sneak from point A to point B without drawing any unwanted attention, so things were going all too slow. It was better than being careless and reckless; he'd lose good rats that way. He cared more for his brethren than he did himself, so, as he sat in the back of this terrible burger joint, he considered heading back to the sewers and quitting while he was ahead. They’d be set for months if he played it safe and went back now, but then they’d have to come out and be even more careful next time around. Sure, the streets were chaotic and filled with things that Scragglefur could only assume were fighting, but rats are scavengers. They excel at scavenging and what better time to scavenge then when there is little risk of being hit with a broom, or getting a tail stuck in a rat trap, or consuming rat poison? Of course, they’d have to be quick and quiet to avoid being shot at or trampled. It was a very hard decision, safety long-term for risk now, or risk later for safety now. In the end, it was his brethren that made the decision for him. They squeaked in anticipation, wondering where it was they would head next. Fried chicken. That’s what Scragglefur decided on. They would head to the place that fried chicken. He didn’t know the name, mostly because he couldn’t read, but he did know where it was, which was actually just across the street. Sneakily, they ran to the restaurant, trying their best to avoid being seen. Scragglefur himself had to try extra hard to conceal his large-for-a-rat-small-for-a-person stature, but he thought he managed to do it. Of course, that was mostly his pride talking. It was actually rather easy to spot him if you were looking anywhere in his general direction, but he wasn’t intimidating enough to warrant any sort of aggressive response. Maybe an investigative response, but who knows? Scragglefur didn’t care, he had one goal at present: Gather food for his people, er, rats. Panic sure was a great thing. People fled from buildings and left them wide open to Scragglefur and his hoard of rats. This was no exception, but then again, maybe it was just a slow day and someone decided to leave early. Whatever the case was, Scragglefur had a grand time digging through the back of the restaurant, even shoving a few pieces of fried chicken into his mouth. It’d be embarrassing if someone walked in on this, but he didn’t think that far ahead. Between the terrible burgers and the delicious fried chicken, the horde of rats couldn’t carry much more. So he gave the order and told them to return their loot to their sanctuary. As he squeaked this through a full mouth, he decided he’d stay and keep eating fried chicken until they got back.

BANG! Pant pant pant ....gulp. BANG! The pale alien continued to get up and run back to the power crystals on all their separate pedestals. Each time she lifted one and shoved it into her mouth, she was blasted back against the wall again. But damn those crystals tasted good, and the ship surely would be dying from the lack of power soon. She was beginning to make her-shaped craters in the sides of the power room. But every time she was blasted back, she ran forward, persistent, crystal 'crumbs' left behind in her wall-crater. Thank Gaia she was durable. Never before had it payed off to not be organic to another planet so well. BANG! Again, her body skyrocketed backwards with the force of the crystals, but slowly she was getting her strength back from all the blood lost. Even better, with her persistence she'd already eaten through a third of the crys- BANG! God she was going to have such a headache later. She groaned as she pulled herself from the wall, panting. Ogh... c'mon she could do this. Her petite belly was already so full of crystals. She stopped, sweating and leaned over on her knees. "Wwwwhhhheeeeeewww...." She exhaled. All this running and momentum of being blasted back was starting to get to her. Like a rollercoaster where the only option was to stand instead of sit. And be only held down by your ankles. "Aagghh...!" She picked herself back up and continued on her cy- BANG! T-this was worth it- BANG! For the good of the- BANG! It w- BANG! E- BANG! Marilyn peeled herself off the crater ridden wall, laughed airlessly, and fell onto her face. "A...ahaha....haa...hooooo...." Well then. Rei's grin widened as she looked over the smoking, unconscious bodies her electrical attack had reduced the alien invaders to. When they came to, hopefully they'd be on their way to... to... to wherever it was that alien invaders went after having the crap kicked out of them. Wherever the hell it was, Street Dragon didn't care. As long as they had time to, as a confederation or an empire or whatever, seriously reflect on how fucking stupid they were for trying to invade Earth. The electricity surrounding Kouryu's blade faded until it was merely an invisible static, and the girl swiftly sheathed it, bringing the katana and its sheath together in front of her before holding it at her side. Glancing around, she saw further commotion ahead. And the big huge alien ship, it was getting closer. Lowering her body to make herself a smaller target, Street Dragon sprinted off down the street, searching for an avenue to help her repel this attack. Or at least more aliens to beat into submission.

Basoth saw that he'd knocked out the alien and moved out to see what the alarm was about. He jumped through the hole he'd made and looked around to see aliens running towards a door. He was thankful that it wasn't him who'd caused the commotion, it meant that he didn't have to 12 ft tall any more, he shrunk back down to his normal height but kept his arm a sword. He caught sight of a Humanoid moving through the ship. he tried shouting over to him, but he didn't hear him over the alarms. Whilst the shady human was creeping around the hallways Basoth couldn't care less. He had finally caught up with him when he stopped to confront a squad of guards. Basoth immediately considered the human as a friend. As the human hit his arm on the wall Basoth joined up with him. He moved to the wall beside the human "Human," Basoth said trying not to startle the human "you and i fight for the same cause i do believe, I mean no offence but i do think you might need some... assistance" He said indicating to the aliens. Looking at them it seemed they were getting angrier and angrier. "If you don't mind i think i'd rather fight them, now than later."

River swears under her breath, as the door is nearly about to give way. She thinks back to the globe and smacks her forehead. Those were cities, not ships. They were targeting other cities! She sighs and looks around, looking around the room. Well, she pretty much just screwed herself. She runs over to the paper, looking at it closely. It was some kind of code, but she did not recognize it. She looks at it closer. Perhaps it was the kill switch for this craft. She looks around, looking for any means of escape. She notices an airduct a few feet away and she scrambles toward it, prying it open. She rips two fingernails off in the process. She cringes and clambers inside, swinging herself and the pad up into the duct. She hurries on all fours and for the first time in her life, she is glad that she is small. She comes to a fork and takes the left path. She manages to make it back to the elevator shafts and kicks out to the grate to the duct. She couches on one of the bars and continues to examine the paper. If she could get to a computer, she could input this into the system and maybe it could do something to help. But first, she needed to get back to that room. She begins to crawl down the elevator shaft, heading toward the floor where the room was on. This is going to be hard. She would have to get back in without being caught and have to pull open the door. She reaches the door and grips one side of it. Using as much stength as she can, she pulls open the door a fraction and slides in, stumbling onto the floor.

Hot Socks near instantly turned his body around. He was startled from someone suddenly appearing behind him. Even though the tone seemed to sound calm, and collected, he still jumped. Not literally, of course. He looked at the man, and heard what he had to say. "Uh... Yea. Sure." He said in response to the preposition of fighting them. In truth, Hot Socks didn't have any real fighting training. He would rarely fight. He was the type of person who would talk to people (except for earlier, in which he didn't quite know what to do, so he knocked out some random alien kidnapper). "So, uh... I guess the plan is to stay behind me and leap out when I duck." He said in his metallic voice. The plan was something he just thought of, comparing his large stature to the other person. He turned to the doorway, and charged out. His large metal fist was up, and his body was obscuring a large area. He yelled without meaning to get their attention, and then he ducked, keeping his arm up. What most people didn't see was him pulling out the small pistol from earlier, and firing multiple times in the direction of the aliens.

The being smashed down the door, eyeing the room he noticed his missing data pad, and an open vent. Carrying an aura of anger and disapproval he slowly turned towards you. "You're one of this Darkseid's furies are you not? Surely you knew we were here, and I have no need for his forgiveness. He knows we have an alliance. But if you and he must know I suppose there's no harm in reminding you, this ship full of incompetent soldiers!" The being shouted angrily and backhanded a nearby alien into the wall, after his short tantrum he continued. "Was sent here to test the waters so to speak, to see if their plan was truly a success. So far it seems to be a failure with all these rodents popping up."
As you stumbled back into the command area you could now see many more beings present, along with the trident wielding being from before. "Ah, so there's our little pest now." The being spoke as he made his way over to you, he turned his armored head slightly to Bellona and spoke. "Perhaps you would like to do the honors, last time I checked you new gods loved blood shed." The being paused slightly. "Apologies, it's Apokoliptians here isn't it? The multi-verse can be so confusing sometimes."
Your unaimed pistol shots, at the most merely grazed various aliens, leaving them largely unharmed. The trident wielding being turned to you. "Ha, they seem to be multiplying. Of course if these slaves were more competent this wouldn't be happening." Spinning his trident rapidly in the air he quickly aimed it at you, and launched a bright blue bolt at you.
Some of the lights throughout the ship began to flicker, as you began to dig in you could feel the ship destabilize slightly, but it didn't seem to be enough to bring it down. Although the ship was nearing the city, you don't know that for sure. The energy of the crystals you had consumed previously began to assault you from the inside, almost like heartburn.
As you searched around the city you soon encountered what appeared to be a disaster area. People were trapped under debris, or pinned down by it, around the area you could see downed ships, and some of them appeared to be dug in the side of various buildings. The ships had electrical burns around the hull, as if they were attacked earlier, however the ships appeared to be in flying condition should you prove brave enough to fly them.
As you scrounged for food you appeared to obviously enjoy yourselves, enjoying yourselves to the point where concealing noise was not an option. Because of the extra noise you and your friends were making you seemed to attract a small round up patrol of the alien invaders. No doubt they were following some of the humans, but your odd appearance seemed to stop them. Looking through the front windows they appeared to be confused, but that feeling obviously left them as they jumped through the windows with weapons trained on you.
