"Oh right, this is your first time dealing with the demons of the underworld, isn't it Owlman?" Light said as she noticed he was having issues with her glee and the lethal orders.

"Ever played a video game or watched a cartoon? Basically we wont be fighting actual people for the most part. Instead we'll be fighting demons, clones, zombies, and whatever other abominations they can dig up. I mean, it is Isabella. Otherwise he wouldn't be giving me the lethal greenlight." Light said giving owlman a pat on the back while pointing her thumb at Cedric.

"The demons are the fun part. They don't actually die, they just go 'poof' into smoke and come back later. I've got a game with one of the succubi on how many times we've 'killed' each other. I'm winning with a score of 7 to 3." Light said with a cheery grin. She vaguely noticed that Cedric had said there were hostages there, and wouldn't fully grasp that until they were midflight.

Outside the New Sun Skyscraper LAPD officers began to arrive. They came due reports of gun shots. This included SWAT, police intelligence and the anti-meta unit.

The set up a perimeter around the building and evacuated everyone in the area. Also called were the LAFD, LASD, CHP, and other police departments in the area.

The police were about to go into the building.

Jaden

Jaden had anticipated Eli's response, quickly forming a thick sphere of hyper-dense bone around him. The flames burned up the first few layers pretty well, but Jaden was deep in the sphere and didn't feel anything but the impact. Once he was on the ground he sprung out, breaking through the now-useless burnt outer layer, making sure to take every piece of mass he could still use, before looking to see Eli escape. He didn't move to give pursuit, he knew he wouldn't make it in time to stop them.

Instead, he turned to face the strange construct that bore the appeance of Olivia, listening to it put to words what he already knew. As she burst forward, Jaden did move an inch, instead growing a number of super sensitive hairs attached straight to his nervous system, able to feel her movements through the air. When he felt her about to strike, he blocked with his arm, weakening the bones so that the blade sank in deep, then quickly rehardening them to keep it in place. He then spawned a barrage of tendrils, intent on wrapping them around her swordarm before she could escape, then kicking her away.

"Return to your Master, I haven't the time to quarrel with you." He said as he reacted, his voice disjointed and crackling as it came from his monstrous mouth.

Sebastian

A ways away, a red-haired man collapsed outside of an apartment building, which soon opened up to reveal the owners who quickly pulled the injured man inside. They laid him on the couch of their ground floor suite, and attempted to wake him up.

"Hey now," the man said, giving a glance towards the woman as he did so, "Are you all right?"

"F-----. . . . . you. . ." The red-head replied weakly, beckoning the two closer. As this was happening, a 13-year old girl, dressed in a simple white top and some skinny-jeans, came from another room, curious as to what was going on. The red head turned to look at her, his eyes burning with dark amusement that seemed to say 'Watch this,' before turning back to the other two, speaking inma sing-sing voice this time.

"Fooled You!"

From his back sprouted two large red tendrils, grasping each adult tightly around their throats to keep them from screaming.

"You know, letting a stranger into your home. . . pretty stupid if you ask me. It was kind of you and I appreciate it, but still rather stupid." Sebastian chuckled as he got up, walking over to the girl with a psychotic smile on his face. "Now then, how am I going to deal with you all."

Ruby's extraction squad - Entrance strategy, part 2

"HRGHK!" A guard said as the last traces of consciousness left him and he went limp in Alto's hold.

He flet kind of bad, but he needed to uniform, and he was sort of his size. A few minutes later and he was an Underground Movement guard, and the unconscious body of the guy that he owed the title was handcuffed to a stall in the women's bathroom.

"Lucky this guy had gloves." He said, looking down at his hands. "Would've been troublesome without them."

It had been troublesome already, as the Underground movement had very few standard guards. He knew most of the guards were monsters changed by Isabella, the only relatively 'normal' ones being ones whose powers worked best in their normal forms. He snuck a look around the corner, and oddly enough saw no one in the hallway.

Maybe Isabella's having a speech somewhere. He thought.

He shrugged and walked out of his hiding spot at a measured pace, in a way that said he was meant to be there. As he passed a few hallways, it was clear that there really wasn't anyone there. Some doors were flung open as if people had gotten out in a hurry, but that was just about it. He pulled one of his maps out of his pocket since there was no one else there.

Ah. He thought, I didn't mark Ruby's room.

He'd been given the data for where Ruby's room was, but he hadn't marked it on his map. He sort of had to drop a message to her, about their exit strategy anyways.

Well, I could really drop it anywhere. He thought, I did program that beacon thing somehow.

He pulled a hard drive out of his pocket, mostly standard looking. He'd made some modifications to drop a message off to Ruby. He wasn't sure how it worked, but when he turned it on it would broodcast a beacon that could only be sense by technopaths. If anyone else looked at it, there would be nothing in it. But if Ruby took a look at it, she'd find a text document about their exit strategy.

He'd used his power to write out the programming, and it had taken a lot of lines of code.

Guess I'll just drop it here. He thought, Hope no one notices.

He carefully placed the hard drive in a corner and turned to regard his options once again.

One more thing to do. He thought.
--

A few minutes later...

"What the hell?" He said aloud. He was in the Underground Movement surveillance room, wiping all traces of his entry and presence from the cameras. He was also watching an outside shot of the New Sun Corporation and the retreating figure of Elijah Craigh followed by a portion of Isabella's army. "This might be troublesome."

He pulled his phone out and sent a text to Damien and Sefia that read:

Be ready for the thing at any time. Stuff's going down and we might have to raid early.
-Alto

With that done, all he had to do was make his escape, probably.
--

More minutes later.

Sal perked up as Alto came through his makeshift door and slid it back into place.

"You're back!" She said as she tackled him, burying her face into his stomach.

"Why do you always act like you haven't seen me in days?" He asked.

"Because it always feels like I haven't seen you in days." She said, looking up at him.

He was a little surprised by that.

"Right, well, we should probably be heading back now." He said. She nodded in agreement and the two started to set off back the way they came, Sal still holding on to his arm.

Maybe I should drop a line to Cedric. He thought as they walked, I'm kinda worried about what he might do.

Damien

Damien was way ahead of Alto, having seen the ruckus caused at the New Sun building on the T.V. Bringing up his phone, he sent a quick reply.

Way ahead of you, on a building a few blocks away, ready to enter whenever you are.

With that done, Damien went back to his survielance of the situation through binoculars

"This could make the job really easy, or really, really hard. Why can't people stick to the schedule." He grunted, waiting for Alto's orders, knowing he was probably going to get got on the middle of that mess soon.

Sebastian

Sebastian was having fun with his new hosts. . well host now anyway. He'd slowly melted the man's head of by raising the acidity of the blood, causong the man to cry out and spasm, flopping around like a dying fish, it was. . . . . unbelievablely funny, especially when the blood melted throught all the way and decapitated the man. The way the corpse just flopped over was hilarious. Dropping the useless head, Sebastian used the blood to gently cradle the woman's face, smiling as he saw her cringe.

Taking a hand, he draggend his finger around on the woman stomach, noticing something strange. Confusion slowy turned into joy as he turned to the woman first, the daughter.

"Looks like you have a baby sibling on the way, isn't that exciting? Do bad your daddy wasn't a less-killable man, huh, you swert little thing." Sebastian walked over a pinched the teens cheeks, loving the sense of empowerment he got from watching her squirm. Taking a look at some family photos, he came to a startling conclusion.

"Oh my, that wasn't your daddy, that was your mother's lover." Sebastian clicked his teeth, looking at the woman dissapointedly. "How should I punish such a shameful spouse, cheating on your husband while your child is in the house, heh, I rhymed."

He took a second to think about it, tapping his chins as he did so, before he snapped his fingers. The acidic blood elongated into spears-like tendrils, stabbing into the woman's stomach, staying there for a second, before ripping themselves out to the side. The woman's face, through all the pain, was filled with shock and anguish as she stared dowb at her stomach, unable to say a word, so deep was her sorrow.

"By eliminating the result of their impure union, of course." He finished with a cruelly excited grin that bordered on orgasmic as he witnessed the pain she was in.

He then turned to face the daughter, dropping the dying mother to the ground. He approachec her, backing her against the wall, his smile only growing as he saw her shiver. He reached out with a hand to caress her face, his voice smooth as silk as he spoke.

"Come now, girl, it's your turn now. Finish off you shameful slut if a mother, I can see the bloodlust in your eyes. Tell me I'm wrong girl, just try and say that I'm wrong." The girl said nothing, only taking a look at her mother's lover's corpse. He was an ugly, pedophillic, molesting asshole, but she had to admit, he made for an entertaining corpse. The thought made her smile, that same dark amusement that had burned in Sebastian now sparking inside her.

Gently pushing him aside, she approached the woman sje jad hated for so long, who had cheated on her father with numerous men, and brought up her hand to place on her mother's head. The ciw didn't even seemed to cate until the electricity syarted to flow through her system. She would've screamed if Sebastian didn't shut her mouth with bloid, but she sure did buck around a lot, twitching like a rabbit on an energy drink even minutes after she was dead.

When the alarm sounded throughout the base, Legion had found his way into a hanger alongside the airstrip. He was pretty sure he didn't have the proper credentials to be in here, let alone to be flipping switches in the jet he was currently sitting in. Nate had decided to don his full Legion gear for his first official day on the job and it admittedly felt more comfortable than even his street gear.

A couple of duplicates were on the ground, poking around the wing of the plane and when the alarm sounded, his military instincts kicked in and he started towards the open hanger door. He had only gone a few steps before he stopped himself though, remembering that he wasn't in the military anymore. If they wanted him, they'd call for him directly. But they hadn't done that and so after dipping his head in thought for a moment, he headed back to the plane to continue his inspection.

The Legion in the cockpit leaned out slightly and looked down at the duplicate as he returned. He had felt a compulsion to go check in with command too. Damn, his old bosses sure had him trained well. In the old days, if an alarm sounded in the old days he either had to check in or run for the hills. But this wasn't the old days and thankfully there were no enemy bullets whizzing past his head...Yet.

He turned his attention to outside the hanger where he spotted none other than the boss man himself. There were a couple of others with him, Light included, but he didn't care about any of them. His eyes locked on the Owlman. He had heard about this guy but never actually seen him. He found himself fascinated by the owl. It wasn't often a mutated meta became so popular and he found himself wondering what it was about the Owlman that so many people seemed to like. He considered heading over and introducing himself but decided against it. That would only draw too much attention to him. The last thing he needed on his first day was the boss asking him what he was doing poking around one of his expensive planes. Besides, they were obviously in a rush. Some commotion involving the underground movement according to the message the boss had bellowed over the tannoy. Best just to wait until everything calmed down before introducing himself.

Of course then the excitement only got amped up even further. As Nate pulled himself out of the plane, someone came exploding through the main building, crash landing on the airfield with a girl in his arms. All three Legions watched as the burning man tumbled to a stop and dropped a woman he had been carrying. It took him a moment but when Legion realized who this man was, he turned to his duplicates, who seemed to have made the identification too. Eli Craigh?

As the boss man and his buddies raced to the downed pair, Legion's attention shifted to the woman. Even from this distance he could see that she was covered in blood. Gunshot wound he guessed. He had both given and received a few over the years. Many had been fatal and from the placement of the one the woman now sported, he suspected she might not make it. What a shame. She was kinda cute.

Legion made his way slowly to the open hanger door and leaned against the wall as he continued to watch the scene unfold. Man, this place was crazy.

Camille Mahroug - The Little Sunshine

Always peeping behind Isabella's shoulder during events that involved interaction with other individuals, Camille's insecure little life was recently bound to Isabella's. Like a loyal companion who would blindly follow the person they aspire to be one day or, more negatively, like an obsessive fan with the compulsive need to stalk her idol. Through inner torments, rejection and conflicting ideals, the young French girl had finally found her righteous way in what many would call the only life they'll live. Camille considered Isabella as a mother, despite the age of the young woman, her body and state of mind made her more akin to a 10 year old than a 25 year old. However this did not exclude her ability to learn and gain the ability to use her knowledge wisely through experience. She needed this motherly figure to keep away from the dangerous, God-complex views on the world her previous environment offered, whether this relation was sincere or not.

From the beginning of Isabella's speech, the child-like woman had remained in the shadows in order to ever appear as a nuisance to her "mother's" work. This followed up with Camille stalking the conversation with Olivia until the latter had crossed the line. Camille couldn't stand her blathering about peace either but most of the discussion was somewhat void to Camille's mind. A little smirk of joy formed on the young girl's cheek as her moth promptly took care of the problem by shooting down the negotiator with a handgun. Unfortunately for them a fire using assailant broke in at the nick of time to save the troublesome female who was about to be served on a silver platter for mother's henchmen.

When Isabella moved in further into her quarters, thus entering in the connected room where Camille was hiding, the little girl couldn't help but snicker at her mother in disrespect. Her naive and provocative gaze was set on her mother who had failed to handle a puny freedom fighter she could have killed off if she didn't act so slowly.

"You really missed her head, mama?! Wow you suck!"

She said with a strong, French accent but the sentence and tones were correctly placed with her little girl's voice. She had the nasty habit of acting before thinking, and in this case she didn't hesitate to mock her spiritual mother for being unable to kill off or even capture the nuisance. But that was very usual of her and many would disregard her child-like manners. Her mother could see her dressed as the average teen slightly above her physical age: A white sweatshirt with a matching skirt followed by a pair of black tights. She wore her usual white control gloves along with the usual Converse type blue shoes. And as a little fashionable touch, she wore a black beret that fit relatively well with her silky, black hair.

But this brief moment of pointless chatting would be cut short as she finished her mockery as a little alarm sounded on the pseudo-teen's smartphone. Upon opening it she'd notice a message attached to a Live article.

"Oh mama! It looks like we have visitors! Should I clean up for a nice welcome?~ Oh oui~"

Her voice got a little more soothing at the end, as if she was happy at the idea of killing off individuals. It wouldn't be surprising, though, as it become routine for her to kill off whatever she didn't like and what Isabella needed gone. She was suggesting that she would go down and kill off the remaining test subjects and cleanse anything that would compromise them while preventing the opposition from gaining useful information that would advance them. This would also include retrieving anything of value before the enemy would.

Isabella

Isabella didn't respond to Camille's words; she was still a little shaken by that show of weakness, but was fast recovering now. With her voice regaining its former confidence and casual cruelty, the Biomancer observed reports that her monstrosities had come outside, exposing their cover. Very well, war can be conducted until Cindy Wade and the treasure she carried in her womb were safely away.

She then answered Camille's second statement:

"No, I'll have one of my Artificial Vampires do it; you're needed to hold the line."

Cedric

Briefly, Cedric mused. They could be set back by the fact that they were now openly working with Elijah Craigh...except that the Underground Movement, and the MegaCorps, have once again shown that their crimes were greater and preceeding. Either way, they had to move now.

Several Minutes Later

New Sun Tower was ahead, and the Underground Movement's labyrinth below. The Helicopter landed on a flat spot of ground in what was formerly the New Sun Courtyard, where Police were battling False Angels and False Ophanim.

"Is everything all right?!" Cedric asked the highest-ranking Police Officer he can find at present.

"Yes, but we can use some more firepower!" said the Polcie Officer, a woman.

Cedric nodded, and pulled out, from literally nowhere...Light's Toon Hammer, a hammer that he had Light keep with her at all times just in case he needed something that was immune to technopathy and other Meta powers. After requesting the Police to evacuate a large spot of the ground, the young man then swung his hammer at the courtyard floor and broke the cieling of the Labyrinth, creating a hole where he and the others can plow through.

"Spectrum, Owlman!" Cedric shouted, "go on up to the Skyscraper and stop the staff from destroying information! The rest of us, go underground; we have people to rescue!"

"into the breach! This'll be fun!" Light said as they arrived at the scene. Of course unlike the others, Light didn't use a parachute, so she made her way to the ground first, landing on a couple False Angels that now found themselves inside the oddly artistic hole Light left behind in her fall. She pulled herself out of the hole when the others had dropped down, Cedric carrying her hammer around and using it to crack open the ground. "Sure uses that thing better than I ever did." Light thought to herself.

Before Owlman and Spectrum went off to do their mission, Light couldn't help but whisper to them. "Yeah, he makes me sleep with that thing. Its a hammer so... Don't tell him." She then followed Cedric and the others into the underground tunnels with a dry giggle.

Rookies up, veterans down. One thing you could say about Cedric: he didn't go taking the easy jobs for himself.

That hole, though. He got that they were the underground, but that seemed massive. In curiosity he closed both his eyes, pointed his face directly at the hole, and Screeeeeched. He listened to the sound bounce around down there, the owl of his brain painting a mental picture of what was below. He didn't get all of it, either. It just seemed to keep going. At least no one seemed to hanging around the new entrance waiting to jump whoever went down.

Then he grabbed a huge silver piece of metal, probably part of some corporate art before all this broke out, and decided to putbit to better use as mobile cover for him, Spectrum, and the police to advance behind. As he moved foward he gave a hoot and a jerk of his head that meant "follow me."

Camille Mahroug - An Impish Minion

"Huh? T'es sérieuse? Pffff."

Obviously disappointed by her superior's decision, the young girl couldn't help but express it in the most blatant of ways, combined with the inevitable pout. She glare at her spiritual mother for a brief moment with a murderous intent, though once again it was more of a pre-teen tantrum thing. With a final 'Tch' she bailed out of the leader's quarters and gestured a couple of mutant guards to follow her without even taking them time to even look at them. They unhesitatingly followed the child through the hallways. As they ventured through the long maze in order to approach the Courtyard's location, one of her peons would receive information from its earphone, only to transmit it back to the girl by whispering to her nearest ear.

"They're already in?! Punaise... I guess we'll have to kill them all!"

She said by passing from depressive disappointment to gleeful enthusiasm as she thought of the idea of taking everything from them in a quick and dominating manner. Her henchmen didn't seem to disagree either with the idea. As they went on, many abominations under her mother's command charged in where the raid was taking place in an attempt to defend the base before they could impede on their final works. Fully aware that if there were Metas, these monsters wouldn't be enough to handle them all, so she'd evidently have other plans in mind.

Once close enough to the heat of action, she ordered her two guards to open a door leading to a small room filled with shelves of books and archived documents. Leaving the door open, she then proceeded to grab one of the creatures' knives in order to slit her thigh and then her cheek, both of which were entirely superficial wounds. This was all part of a little act she suddenly came up with which left the two henchmen dumbfounded, entirely clueless as to what she was doing. She screamed.

"AHHHHHH! Help! HEEEELLLP me! No, NO!"

She shouted her lungs out in order to make it convincing, while it would be very easy for the people who were storming the underground base to hear the pleas for help. The creatures were shocked and mortified with what they started to understand. They were fodder for her so she could lure in the prey. She threw the knife near the monster's feet so there wouldn't be any confusion. Now everything would be done by itself.

Things here are getting tense. Ruby wants out. Boss lady doubts our bullshit cover. My head's an inch away from meeting a chopping block. Oh, and Ruby seems to want to get down my pants. So there's that. Not sure if it's a consolation prize or just another problem. Who the fuck knows anymore though. At l

The screen cut to black and immediately the meta knew what the problem was. "Ruby," he growled, his lips curling into a frown. Between his fingers he rotated around the iPod touch that was nearing its 10th year of life, having survived so much, having the last remnants of his life before everything went to shit. If she fucked it up, if it was all gone. If he had just lost everything that he had been saving... well, he wasn't quite sure what he would do. Kill Ruby? Maybe. Probably not. Beat her within an inch of her life? Tempting. Chalk that one down as a maybe. Perhaps she could fix it. He'd still be pissed at her, but at least it would patch up the grievous damage already done to his state of mind.

A faint flicker of unfamiliarity blipped on his mental radar. An interloper from beyond the compound had made a visit to their humble abode. An interloper that Harper recognised the brainwaves of. "Son of a bitch," Harper almost gasped, shooting up from his bed, stumbling across his room in a flurry of movement as he jerked his shorts and a t-shirt on before jaunting outside of his room. The complex was near silent as it tended to be around this time. Only the wannabe vampires were up and they spent too much of their time fucking to do anything of importance; like checking the god damned security room.

The trace of Alto's brainwaves was dissipating faster than he could search the place and only when Harper caught onto the scent of quarters, did he have any idea of where the rat was. Harper shot off after the scent, forgoing jaunting for going as fast as his legs would take him. Jaunting and keeping track of scents was a lot more difficult than simply legging it. Harper came to a stop before the security room door and held his breath, ready for anything when he pushed open the door, finding a mostly empty room. It still reeked of the meta, but there was something that stunk more than anything else.

"Hello, what are you my little friend?" Harper smirked, lifting up the beacon. "Cute, aren't you?" Harper tossed it back and forth from hand to hand, giving the room a cursory glance over before jaunting to Ruby's room. "Wake up, Rubes. Your friends want you to leave and if I let you leave with them, you're just going to wind up dead..." He paused, biting his bottom lip. "Get dressed and grab anything you need, we'll be leaving shortly." Harper commanded, tossing the beacon onto the bed and turning toward the door, arms crossed. "Make it quick unless you're looking to explain to the boss why it is that you're leaving this time."

Ruby's Extraction? - Part 1

Alto quickly typed out a text as he vaulted over some buildings in an effort to reach his house in time.

Sefia, be ready to teleport to your emergency sword. We may be raiding early.
-Alto

She was definitely still in a lecture at that moment but he sort of needed to do this. He dropped Sal off back at his company, and he was tracking Damien's phone signal so he would know where he was. They needed to coordinate and Damien was sort of close to their raiding spot.

His house was just up ahead. He jumped off the roof of some random pleb and shot a hook out of his left arm. It lodged into the balcony and sped him towards it, stopping in time for him to reach out and grab the railing without smashing himself on it. The top door was always unlocked, mainly because it was his room and he needed to do this kind of thing occasionally.

He came out of his bedroom door and ran down the hall to Sefia's room. Running inside, he grabbed one of her swords which was leaning against the wall and dashed back out the way he came. She only ever ran out with three swords, but she could really have as many swords as she wanted. It's just she could only control three at once so she preferred to only have three.

He jumped from the balcony, onto the fence and back onto more roofs. As he ran back towards Damien's location, he typed out another text to Sefia.

Teleport now.
-Alto

He pressed send and jumped onto a rather slippery tiled roof. He made another jump, and Sefia appeared beside him as he landed.

"What the-?!" She tripped a little on a tile, but she quickly righted herself as Alto jumped another roof. "What the hell?!"

"Yeah, sorry." Alto said, "Had to hurry."

Sefia glared at him slightly.

"Hmph." She said.

"Whatever, anyhow, hold this and tell me if we're getting off course." He handed Sefia his phone with some navigation on it and their route planned for Damien's stakeout spot. He had to make a call.

He pulled out his secret phone from his pocket and tapped out a number he'd texted the day before. This phone was sort of special. He could hack phones through the call and make them automatically accept and switch to speaker mode. The call connected to Cedric as he heard a large crack as if ground was giving way.

"Hey Cedric," He said into his phone, "I notice you're raiding earlier than planned. Are you sure you know what you're doing?"

He didn't get response. He did however, hear a lot of battle cries, some lasers firing in the background and even the hiss of some fire. He's probably fighting Isabella's army. He thought. The houses the jumped on gave way to some higher flatter roofs. They were near the business area, they would reach Damien's hide-out sooner or later.

He cut the call and put his phone away, Cedric could wait. For now, he just needed to think a little.

Camille Mahroug vs. Cedric Wessex & Light
-
Death Dressing as a Little Child

((Collab Post between Archmage MC, Letter Bee and Savato))

Cedric smashed aside monsters with his Toon Hammer, while Light and Tribuo - assuming he was there - went their seperate ways. Then, he heard a scream from a far end of the corridor, where there was a small room, where a child lay down on the floor, wounded, he assumed by the monsters who surrounded her. Seeing that said monsters were former humans and Metahumans -

"Don't listen to her!" said a Fake Vampire who had a few metaphorical brains "- it isn't us, we swear!" Cedric shot the Artificial Vamp a look, but then took stock of the scene. True, the bloody knife was at the monsters' feet, but, well, on a second look, the wounds on the girl's body were superficial, the knife looked to be thrown in the direction of the monsters (it was the blood trail that gave it away), and, well...

The little gremlin teared up in response to the nice man's lack of action in regards to the monsters harassing her poor soul. The stream of tears was somewhat thin at first since, well, they were crocodile tears but with the experience she accumulated the past years it wasn't too hard for her to pull off a convincing act.

"*Sniffle* M-Mister! They're trying to bring me back with... NO NO NO!" And the hysteria went on.

"Please!" said the Fake Vampire in his own imploring voice, "she's lying! She's actually our mistress' adopted daugther! She was leading us to pound you guys! Please believe me!" The Fake Vampire was tearing up now. "Please, I was drunk when I accepted the mutation! I don't wanna die; I thought I was going to be invincible!"

Cedric looked at the girl, then the Fake Vampire, and said:

"Okay, first up, I have a soft spot for children, but I also have a soft spot for lower-class people, and that was what most of the 'monsters' used to be. On the other hand, I have no time to make an extended judgement, so all of you," he said in a tone that meant business, "accompany me. If you don't really want to die, then you shouldn't have joined the people recruiting you guys as cannon fodder."

"I wanted to be beautiful!" said a False Elf, patehically.

"And you are," spoke Cedric, "now let's go, deeper into the labyrinth!"

"Erm ok-" It was all the Fake Vampire could have said before a bullet pierce right through the back of his skull and came right out of his forehead. An exasperated Camille had reached her limit in stupidity tolerance for one invasion. The Fake Elf was stunned by the sudden deathdealing from his superior, and as she turned to face her, she too took a shot to the face. Needless to say, they were dead.

"Ugh. Can't find good henchmen these days, pas vrai?" she wiped off the fake tears from her cheeks, the salty water had already mixed with the blood on her cheek wound, thus spreading a large amount of red all over her face.

"That's more a problem of training and military doctrine. If you train your soldiers to be crappy cannon fodder, don't be surprised if they're crap," said Cedric.

"[b]Blah blah blah, always the same nonsense with you peace lovers. Don't patronize are beautiful craps~ They make great shields for the mighty[b]!" she arrogantly boasted as she slowly walked up to the seemingly leader-like individual. Handgun in one hand, another one wiping her eye from the dampened mascara she was wearing.

"Of course I love peace," said Cedric, "I love granting people the peace of death," okay, not entirely the truth, but he was pissed off right now. And with that, he swung his Toon Hammer so fast, it would parry any bullets she can shoot out, as well as her ageing goop - Toon Hammers were like that.

"Oh scary~" she mockingly responded as the hammer was apparently being employed to deal with her little case. She smirked as her pupils prolapsed ever so slightly. The man who was a few meters away from her could feel a slight change in the efficiency of his movements. He felt slower, but it wasn't apparent enough to be an obvious change, his attack was only slowed down by a few fractions of a second, but more than enough for her to swiftly duck. When his move ended, her hand would grab on the long shaft of the weapon, daring him to try and hit her again. Little did her know, the hammer would wither to nothingness the moment he'd try to swing it once more.

Except that the Toon Hammer had been affected by Light's Reality Shift, giving its wielder, Cedric, limited super strength and speed, as shown in his moves before. So, he managed to pull back just in time, but, noticing that the room was too cramped for extended swining, the 20-year old jumped backward outside, where more monsters awaited...and had heard the sounds of the argument and altercation.

"Free Pardons, a job, and a raise for said job if you help me destroy this brat!" Cedric said as he pulled back his Toon Hammer, causing it to vanish, and drew out two Clockwork Pistols made by Clockpunk, a Meta whose power was to make Scientifically Impossible Technology work (Heh, @NarcissisticPotato!). He then shot out several needle-like darts tipped with tranquilizer at Camille, while the monsters, not wanting to be betrayed anymore, and wanting the freebies Cedric was offering, began launching their own bullets, and for the Artificial Elves, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air attacks.

"Pffff. The cops want you dead, this guy's the boss. Kill 'em and you become executive here." she taunted the man as well as the enormous greed of her henchmen. Although they may not have been convinced immediately, or at all, they would be left into hesitation. After all, were they to fear Isabella more than the possibility of losing a lot? She had her entire focus on the man before him who took his distances, prompting her to smirk once more.

"Monsieur Freedom Fighter..." As he withdrew a pair of bizarre pistols, she simply took a step forward. All he could hear was a slight buzzing sound as she had used her movement lag to move at the speed of sound right in front of him while he attempted to aim at her previous position. Because of her small size, she'd easily be between both his engaged arms, her deadly stare scrutinizing his very soul as she grinned in excitement. If he were to move his arms to either change weapons or change his shot, she'd immediately catch his wrists with her movement dilation. If he were to attempt to move, he'd deliver a cheap punch on his body armor. In any case, he'd be in for a surprise.

Cedric, in response, tried to knee Camille in the crotch.

Being a woman, that was... Inefficient. Or at least very annoying. It hurt, but it response, both her hand slapped against his thigh out of simple reflex. From there, his entire piece of clothing would be quickly consumed by the rotting ability of her touch. He had little time to react to this, but it was still possible to go commando.

The 20-year old was now freaking out, not just because of the kid's seeming time manipulation, but because he now looked like a sexual predator after ripping off his rotting pants. This, this was not good; outnumbered though she was, she was holding her own. Cedric tried to draw back; from his hands, out of literally nowhere again, came the Toon Hammer; he would need its enhancements if he was to even stand a chance.

"... I thank you for this moment!" she announced upfront while they were at kissing range. It had seemed he took notice of the pants disintegrating and lowered his guard to rip them off. That split second, even without the movement dilation, her handgun would be pointed right at his face. Her members were much smaller than his, making it much easier for her to move them around. But as he tried to move away, her attempt to kill him would fail but her accuracy would be efficient enough to badly graze his eye as he retreated. Blood gushed out and splattered toward the cowering minions who were hesitant and didn't dare to interfere when two hgiher ups were so close to each other. They would be even more frightened after witnessing the aging ability she use so well.

Cedric felt pain, huge amounts of pain streaming from his now-useless eye. He screamed, but bit back more shouts; if he had flaws, they included a desire not to look bad in front of his soldiers, his people.

Pantsless, eye bleeding out, the 20-year old, after his scream, presented an indiomitable image now that his teeth grit in rage.

"I will not yield," he said as his Toon Hammer was drawn up defensively, "I do not yield when my people are at stake." And with that, he smashed his hammer upon the ground, causing a deliberately comical ripple in the earth, a ripple that headed towards Camille, who was now some distance away.

"Hihihi! You're so cool! I want that hammer!" she explained in total glee as he drew his weapon in a defensive position while giving some speech she couldn't care less about. He was going to use it, but was a little too far away to hit her with it. It all made sense when a ripple was released. Her movement dilation had faded the instant he took his distances in order to rest her senses and in exchange, her arm went purple, coated in a murky miasma that didn't appear to be tangible. She pointed her hand at the upcoming attack and as it got close, it collided with the mass of purple product that took the shape of a defending arm. Most of the arm would be burn out, but the attack itself was aged beyond existence as it hit the substance. In the meantime, she glared at her damaged opponent, happy that he was in such a shape. She wasn't a sadist, but death was something she grew to appreciate a little too much. After that counter, she retreated the murky arm in her organism in order to save her energy. She then walked toward her adversary once more.

Cedric breathed hard; nothing was working. So he had to shout:

"LIGHT!" into his communicator.

Light meanwhile was having a grand ole time beating up the various things that came her way. Demons, mutants, clones... they fell one by one to her punches, or her using a makeshift bat out of one of their buddies. She was busy piecing herself back together after one of them had smashed her into the ground, leaving a comically sized light shape hole in the ground when they did, when she got an SOS call from Cedric.asking for aid.

Fortunitally she could also hear his bellow faintly through the complex, or what she thought it was, and decided to use the TNT in her dress to make a tunnel through to him, the baddies she was fighting wisely moving away as she blew open wall after wall, making the same joke each one and feeling a bit disappointed when she found another empty room or hall. At least until she reached where Cedric and Camille were fighting. Of course she busted through the wall with style, saying "OHHH YEEEAAAAHHH!" In a low voice and posing.

Multiple loud sounds could be heard coming closer just as Camile was ready to deal another blow, distracting her from Cedric. The noises got louder until finally a nearby wall collapsed from a loud 'boom' and in came a loud odd lookign girl. Raising an eyebrow at the current events, Camille could only guess that that GIRL was Light, the person Cedric had called for because of his recent injury. She looked like... A Pokemon. That at least peaked the young-looking female's interest since cartoons and games were her thing.

"So... I have to kill toi aussi?" she asked the woman who had just barged in "[b]Cuz' your friend seems pretty beat up. He ain't going very far![b]"

She pointed her gun at Light, demonstrating hostility which would of course contrast her rather calm demeanor towards the sudden randomness of the cartoon meta.

"Cedric, you lost to someone with a gun? Did she..." Light said looking over at Cedric who was bleeding profusely from one eye. "Oh... well thats not good." Light said, ignoring Camile and pulling out a medpack for Cedric, dropping it near him so as to not touh it for too long. "Can you patch yourself up? I'd get going if I were you, I'll deal with this one." she continued, moving a few steps away from Cedric and facing Camile.

She pointed at her gun and laughed, dismissing it. "That wont do you much good. Unless it has infinite ammo. Dunno how you shot Cedric's eye out though, must've been a sneak attack or something." Light said.

"What the..." Camille had a hard time actually grasping what the hell this person was doing. Such confidence, it was almost disgusting given the status of what appeared to be their leader. Or at least that's what Camille guessed. She really didn't know what to do other than, well, shoot her once right at the face. She didn't know that person and was obviously one of the invaders.

Apparently this person had no clue who Light was. Most criminals ran when they saw her coming, or futally shot at her only to find it wasn't that effective. Although that was the common riff raff in the shady parts of whatever town she was in at the time, and this was apparently a high up big bad. Light got hit right where her nose would be if she had one, leaving a gaping white hole through her head. Light didn't bleed, and while mildly disturbed at the pain of a bullet going through her head, looked mostly unphased..

"Most people drop the gun or go for center of mass shots. You went right for the headshot. jeez." She commented, poking at the new hole in her face with one of her fingers. A few moments alter an audiable 'pop' could be heard, and Light was back to the way she was, although a bit more agitated.

The monsters all clapped and cheered; they loved a good show.

Camille nodded, obviously impressed just as the lovely crowd surrouding the small field. Her free hand clapped against the gun she was wielding.

"Ohhh! That's a cool power! I want it, like that hammer~" she grinned upon looking at the wounded Cedric who had made that hammer vanish in thin air. "So, since I can't shoot you and kill you... I guess I'll slap you~" she announced with her usual child-like tone. Her immaturity and overall childness would come to pay when confronted to insane opponents like Light.

"OK. Its like some domnatrix thing going on here or something. I dunno, I'm getting some baaad flashbacks. Oh, I'm 8-3 now with that succubus I told you about. Poor girl got blown up when I was tunneling. Hence why I bring this all up." Light said, making casual chat with the pair, trying to keep all the attention on her so Cedric could get to safety through her dynamite tunnel or wherever he was going to go. Being the brightest thing in the room, it was pretty easy to keep everyone's attention.

"Oh well. At least you got a fun personallity. Shame you had to shoot out Cedric's eye though. Thats... yeash. There are things you don't do. Eyes, Groins, and Boobs. Don't aim for those. Well the last one can't be helped sometimes..." Light said, moving ccloser to Camile while wagging her finger like she was nagging a child. But being a toon... it looked funny more than anything.

Cedric, meanwhile, began to retreat, being carried out of the Labyrinth by the monsters as though he were their savior from the brat who was planning to sacrifice them for her own gain. Plus, Cedric offered genuine gold.

Camille rolled her eyes, not because of the nagging but because someone was trying to blame her for the man's lost eye. "Pfff! It coudn't be helped either! This crétin moved when I tried to headshot!" she explained like a dishonest kid trying to cover up the fact that she broke the vase.

As Light got closer and closer, Camille took a step forward as well to close the gap between them. She then placed her finger on Light's lips, signaling her to shut up. "Shhhhh~", little did Light know a simple touche would make her cartoon flesh age and turn her to dust pretty damn quickly.

It was like being set on fire or blown up. Light was a pile of ash on the ground with her eyes just sitting on top of it, visably annoyed. She didn't mind this when she was the one doing it, but loathed when other people did it to her. Being turned to ash wasn't the funnest experience in the world. And much like before, she just 'popped' back to normal after a little while, Camile confused at the pair of eyes staring at her from the ash pile before Light was back in full form.

She slapped Camile with her overly large hand, saying "Really?", her hand starting to turn to ooze at touching Camile, but Camile on the other hand would have trouble dealing with this. Why? He movement dilation wasn't active during the random reincarnation of Light. It wasn't like she expected the cartoon to die, but to get pissed so fast was somewhat of a surprise. Luckily for Camille, however, the hand that hit her pretty hand would inevitably touche Camille's exposed parts, notably her hands, causing the member to wither into dust as well. Her arm followed which would be an obvious indicator to purge the arm.

Nonetheless, the hit had left pretty nasty red marks on her arms and cheeks while throwing her a few meters away. The landing also hurt her butt, which wasn't too shabby after the previous kick in the crotch. At least her rejuvination ability made her body constantly at its prime, taking limited damage and having the minor wounds have less impact on her performance.

"Okay! We are equal! Don't hit me with that nasty hand again ugh it's all gooey..." she shivered a bit thinking of the different meanings that could have. Not that her childish mind would harness such things but nobody here is innocent. She slowly got back up and stretched a bit.

"Oh this'll be annoying..." Light said as her gooed up hand popped back to normal. At least that rotting process didn't really hurt at all. "Well, I guess..." Light said, pulling out a hole and jumping into it, appaering behind Camile out of a nearby wall, diving at her attempting a grab.

Camille would now realize that her enemy wasn't going to go down like the others. She was reminded of the immense danger Light presented when a new move was demonstrated. This was annoying... She suddenly disappeared only to re-appear behind Camille. Luckily for the young looking fighter, her Movement Dilation would be re-established after her previous strike. When Light entered the five meter radius, her movements would be slowed down by a few fractions of a second, enough for Camille to roll to the side and let the toon crash face first on the floor.

"Uuhhh..." Light said as she went sailing past Camile, a bit confused as to why she was suddenly moving so fast. It was like the bug monster all over again, a bunch of haphazard powers put together or so she thought. At least she had no dampening field.

Light got up, brushing herself off. Everyone around her had left minus Camile and hereslf, which was good. Cedric had at least gotten away. While Camile was standing there, looking smug, Light grabbed the ground and pulled out a goood sized chunk, throwing it at her. Although there was a room below them...

This attack wasn't too difficult to predict. Camille closed off her dilation in order to save energy, and exchange released the murky arm from her right arm. The purple masse would assault the thrown piece of rock and rot it out upon contact. It was an easy task that allowed Camille to retreat the member as soon as the task was done, wasting little blood. Due to the missing chunk of floor, the two of them fell into the room below as the floor became unstable and gave way. The room beneath them would lead to one of the many research areas where many chemicals were exposed and guinea pigs left vulnerable.

"Light was it?! Mama needs me to beat you so I can have a good supper! Mind giving me a hint?!" she asked all so politely with her delicious little French accent that would make even the cruelest of psychos feel queasy.

"All I can say is, tune in on Saturdays at 7 for the next thrilling episode!" Light said, playing along with the little kid voice that Camile was using while she looked around at her new surroundings. The first thing that caught her eye were the various vials of liquids sitting around the lab and a couple machines that looked particularly nasty. Light went to gather some vials and put them into her pocket space under her dress. "Its just good advertising. Gotta make the fans want more. Ya know?" Light said as she picked up various liquids, Feeling out Camile's psyche. Light was playful, but Camile seemed a bit naive to her, but she wasn't sure if it was an act or not.

Camille was both dilluded in this little game that was going on and unnerved by the immense danger this foe presented. What the hell could she do? While Light was having a fun time with vials, Camille checked the area out in order to figure out her envrionment. Given this was her territory, she wouldn't have trouble orienting herself through it. She then noticed the word "protocol" on one of the computer screens. In this case it involved purging the experiments, but it also reminded her of quarantine, the best option the research team had when it came to controlling the creatures. It would be thanks to bizarre idea associations like that that she could figure out such interesting strategies. Now, to get her in that quarantine zone. She had to force Light into a reinforced cell through a large entrance that would be sealed by a huge door.

She stared at the cartoon, feeling more and more stressed about this. "Yeah... It's all about images these days..." she responded more or less adequately to her opponent's question. "I like dead things, but that excludes me. What do you like?" she asked randomly, not to buy time but to possibly find a crack in the girl's behavior.

"Whatever I find fun. Mostly freedom." Light said, noticing a small canister of liquid nitrogen at the end of one of the tables. "I'm more shocked you didn't know hwo I was. I mean, theres a bloody billboard with my face a couple blocks away from this place." She said, picking up the barrel, punching a hole in it with her fist and haphazardly throwing it in Camile's general direction, having a bad throw as a good chunk of her hand was completely frozen with Light audiably complaining about the pain before smashing her hand on a table, shattering it into little pieces.

"Merde!" Camille shouted in surprise. Luckily for her the throw wasn't too accurate, allowing her to react quickly. Like the rock from before, she easily used her murky hand to consume the linear attack coming straight at her in an obvious way. However she could start to feel the effects of using that arm a few too many times. The lab was covered in frozen matter now, but that didn't matter too much given the situation. Keeping a fixed stare on Light, Camille paved her way to the nearby maintenance cabinet every lab had for hygiene reasons. There she'd rot the door and find what she was looking for. She grinned, happy that things were turning her way.

"Be careful with those lab chemicals... You may hurt civilians~" Camille warned the toon in hopes to calm her down a bit.

"Hm..." Light said, looking around at the strange abominations inside test tubes and the like. "If I was reallt using them, I would've made a poison gas with these things by now. Course these guys are here, so I guess not" Light said, pointing out the fact that she was more or less playing with Camile. After all, all Light had to do was run at her with some dynamite in her hand and BOOM, gibs everywhere. Much like some zombie movie she saw. But then the civvies would get hurt and that was a no no.

She instead opted to hop back into another hole, hopping out of the same hole she went in, a second hole appearing out of the wall that Carmile was near which spat out a couple beakers of liquids, most of them foul smelling or acidic. Light wasn't going to let that girl get anywhere near her if she could help it, and she didn't need to as long as she had the fixings of the lab to throw at the girl. Although the chemicals were a bit cartoony and she had used up a great deal of them.

Camille didn't see that one coming, random vials of whatever splashing out of nowhere from a wall in which she only expected Light to come out of like last time. Her arm used to block the liquids out of reflex would be exposed to some of them, the rest being rotted away as it hit her arm and murky ooze. The damage was there, but the liquids aged fast enough to have minimal damaging effects. "Punaise..." she grunted to herself, looking at her wound. She seemed concerned about her damaged arm, but at that very instant, Light could hear a slight Buzz ring through her cartoon ears. Camille had used her movement lag just as she picked up the item she coveted and moved herself at the speed of sound right next to Light.

"Losersayswhat." she mockingly said as she appeared, only to deliver a sucker punch on the strange cartoon's face. Light, usually having issues with super speed, took the punch square in the jaw. She wasn't really capable of ultra fast movements. She did do a reactionary kick however at Camile's stomach before Light turned into dust with eyes again, while Camile was knocked a bit away,

Gitting her teeth from the sudden counter attack, Camille had suddenly become furious from the labor caused by the demented creature. She was pushed away and her physical limits were being reached, but she didn't want to fail. When he feet touched the ground, her leg muscles became tense and proppeled her back at the now dust Light. A buldge of veins formed on Camille's forheard, signaling her utter rage. Pointing the vacuum cleaner she had snagged, she siphoned the dust created from her rotting body, in hopes to stuff her entire being in that small box. When Light didn't pop out of the cleaner, although a pop was heard of her regenerating, Camile followed up on her plan and threw the vaccuum cleaner with Light inside inside the small cell and closed it. Rumbling and disgruntled noises coming from the trapped Light.

Camille puked out of sheer disgust as to what she had just done, but also by the recent hit she recieved combined with the over exerting efforts she had to endure. That thing wasn't even defeated, let alone killed. Either way, she had to report back to her mother. Camille let her body go limp for a second, sitting back against a nearby wall to catch her breath before heading out of the lab, grabbing some meds. She didn't want to be there when Light eventually broke free.

Sebastian was watchung the ordeal from above, having left the girl, Jasmine was her name, at the apartment to pack her things. If he wasn't able to get her later, he'd told her to head to the Reformist HQ, were he would be waiting. Then he had leaped into the battle, easily bypassing barricades as he sought to find Isabella, eager to make the bitch scream for thinking she could lock him away with no consequences.

He stuck to the shadows, slithering through the compound to Isabella's quarters, silently killing any of her mutants that took notice of him with a bloody tendril right between their eyes. He soon approached the room, slowing his gait slightly as he opened the door, a dark smile on his face as he saw the object of his vengeance.

"Why hello there, Madame Isabella, I see you've become even more beautiful sincd I last saw you. I'm going to enjoy taking that from you." He said, two tendrils of blood fotming on either side of him as he approached her, his gait casual and calm. He was in control here, and he wanted to make sure she knew it.

"Why hello there, Madame Isabella, I see you've become even more beautiful since I last saw you. I'm going to enjoy taking that from you." He said, two tendrils of blood forming on either side of him as he approached her, his gait casual and calm. He was in control here, and he wanted to make sure she knew it.

"Please don't." Isaac said, emerging out of the shadows scalpel in hand.

The wall burst open and a white dragon with 2 heads crashed into the room, one head snapping at Sebastian, grabbing his body while the other let loose with a plume of white smoke from its mouth, freezing the blood forming around Sebastian. Frost crept onto Sebastian's body as the dragon held him in place. The dragon's other head roared in a display of dominance, and Isaac removed his glasses. Glowing points appeared on his vision and he paced towards the captive Sebastian.

After the white dragon's roar, the room grew oddly silent, the sounds of battle continuing in the background. The white dragon's second head lowered down as Isaac approached and he stepped onto it. It lifted him to a position slightly higher than Sebastian. Isaac studied Sebastian, noting his weak points and launched his speech.
"I wouldn't object to you taking her beauty, but knowing you, Sebastian, it wouldn't stop there." Isaac said.

Isaac knew Sebastian quite well. He'd gotten precious information from Sebastian's imprisonment, and he'd hypothesised on the possible nuances and weaknesses of his power. He didn't understand Sebastian's needless enjoyment of suffering, which was ultimately inefficient and pointless, but he didn't need to. Ultimately, Sebastian was smart, psychotic as he was. And any living thing, save for the insane, could be reasoned with.

"While I would likely benefit from the Cadavers of both of you..." Isaac said.
He knelt down to be on eye level with the trapped Sebastian.
"There are more benefits in keeping Ms Lancaster alive for now. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for you." Isaac continued. "But you are a smart and powerful man, Mr Lyone. I, and possibly Ms Lancaster, can see the benefit of letting you free."
The benefit for Isabella was that she got to live. Alone, she could likely be killed at practically anytime as Sebastian's power achieved an A ranking and his intelligence would only elevate his threat levels many times over.
"There are benefits to letting you free, Mr Lyone, but I'm not one to take risks. And you, Sebastian, are a risk." ISaac said. "Ms Lancaster imprisoned you because you were a risk. One she couldn't afford to take."
He brought the scalpel in his hand to an inch within one of Sebastian's vital points, one he knew would result in death.
"I'm offering you a chance, Sebastian. I guarantee you, if I push this scalpel forward, you wouldn't be able to heal, no matter how powerful you are. But if you choose to cooperate, then we can strike deal." Isaac said, pushing the scalpel a few centimetres closer.
His tone was the same droning, even tone he always used, despite the threat. The ice crept further along Sebastian's body as the dragon held him.
"So what will you do, Mr Lyone?" Isaac said.

Sebastian

Sebastian was many things, a sadist, a psychopath, a genuis, a liar, even an enjoyer of the fine arts, but most of all, he was a sportsman in the game of life, and he knew when to except defeat.

"Ah Issac," Sebastian remembered him, the mad scientist type that could see weakpoints. By himself, a mild threat, but with that beast on his side, Sebastian stood no chance. If only his blood was like Vodka, then his chances woukd be rather good. "I'm not much in a position to do anything, what with you dragon set to chomp me in two if I so much as twitch and it's other head is keeping my prime offensive rather useless. What else can I do but concede defeat. So then, will you let me go, or lock me up again. The choice is yours Issac and I've no,choice but to abide by it."

"Mr Lyone, locking you up would be pointless." Isaac said.
Isaac retracted his scalpel and stood up, carefully putting it back in his pocket and retrieving his glasses. He put them on as the dragon's head lowered him onto the floor. He walked off of it and the head went back, eyeing Sebastian cautiously.

"If I wanted you out of my sight, I would have killed you, Mr Lyone, but that is clearly not the case." Isaac said, pacing to the centre of the room so he could make his point known, and turned back to face Sebastian.
"You know why Isabella imprisoned you, Sebastian. Secrecy was integral to the underground movement, and a loose cannon such as yourself could've ruined everything." Isaac continued.

The sound of battle sounded somewhere far away, contrasting with the room's tense stillness. It only served to remind the room's occupants of the losses being suffered by the underground movement, but Isaac paid it no mind. There would always be more, and it didn't matter.
"You are a smart person, Mr Lyone. Smarter than Isabella gives you credit for. It seems to me that you didn't resist your imprisonment because you knew that you could leave at any time you wished." Isaac said, snapping his fingers.
The dragon head currently holding Sebastian lowered to the ground and released him, dropping his body on the floor. The ice began melting quickly and the dragon head rose again, still wary of the half-frozen Sebastian.
"And that is why I believe it is pointless to imprison you." Isaac continued.
With that, he turned to Isabella.

"The reason Mr Lyone was after you today, Ms Lancaster, was because you thought you could keep him out of sight forever." Isaac continued, pacing to the left.
He snapped his fingers again and a strange, human-like beast, with hair-like spines down its back, appeared in front of him with a flash of blue light, its hunched form bent over in front of Isaac with its fist on the floor. It slowly rose from its bent position and revealed its masked face and sharp claws. Isaac stopped and turned back around to face Isabella and Sebastian.
"You are a thorn in Isabella's side, Mr Lyone," Isaac continued. "And you, Ms Lancaster, are Sebastian's prime target."
Electricity danced on the man-beast's spines and the small puffs of white smoke coming from the dragon's nostrils chilled the air.
"Since you've both agreed to hate each other, I hope that we can agree on another point. Isaac said. "I want the three of us to have a nice, civilised chat."

Spectrum was curious to see how this mission would go especially since he was working with the mysterious Owlman. Charles didn't know too much about the hero, but he wasn't sure if the hero's communications skills was not going to possibly jeopardize the whole mission. When he saw the hero indicate for them to go into the building, Spectrum followed him in and looked around to see what they were getting into.

His rainbow aura illuminated whatever was inside in case it was in any darkness and he hoped that his powers didn't get them busted by any guards of the corporation.

When her stomach immidiately began bulging, Cindy Wade knew that something was wrong with her pregnancy. Although she wasn't a genius, she was still smart enough to realize that Isabella, her leader, was planning on something, and, knowing her treatment of 'expendable' minions, Cindy figured out that her life was in danger. Briefly, she had thought of terminating the pregnancy, but decided not to, because not only had she been paid a huge sum to keep it to term, but because she knew that with flash-teaching, she can teach the kid anything she liked; including turn him against the Underground Movement. And she was prepared to bargain that with Isabella; her life and her continued well-being for the child's obedience.

Of course, with the 'Reformists' apparently attacking, she can defect to them, and enjoy not only her continued existence, but a life of luxury...
