Zenoram/Zero and Hemlock

"You may not be built for it, but that wouldn't stop Zenoram from hugging the crap out of you." Zero shuddered a bit. Zenoram could be so... affectionate. Now courtesy as to the fact that they shared a body and Zero wasn't much more touchy feely. Though he was sure he couldn't stop Zenoram. Besides... Contact with other humans. He wouldn't admit it, but part of him liked it. Part of him knew he needed it. He and Zenoram. But even knowing that... He sighed at Mithera's offer. "I don't know... I don't think I'd work very well with others."

He paused when Karn began to speak. "Hmmm? Look... It's not about who had a worse past. Neither you or I..." He paused. He could tell Zenoram wanted to join. But he was hesitating. "Fact is... Nobody deserves a life like that. So let's just agree on that much." He said calmly as he smiled. An actual smile. "Now. Let's get you guys back. And if nothing else." He couldn't believe what he was about to say. He wanted so much not to.

"They will take the time to at least look around and see what guild life is like." Hemlock said simply.

"Wha..." Zero stopped. He was going to say that, but to think Hemlock said it. Zenoram was overjoyed. "Yeah. Zenoram will be happy about that." Zero said. "So we'll check it out. Me first, then I'll let him have some fun if it seems safe." He gave a little game plan.

"Good. We're here." Hemlock added calmly as he stopped. He was now just floating, the beating of his wings just strong enough to maintain a steady altitude as he awaiting the departure. "Feel free to return. But remember. Only you four." He counted Zenoram and Zero as two. "Nobody else." He finished.

After witnessing Lazarus fall from the arrows earlier, the soldier made his way below the palace. When he was there, he saw quickly Pen in some stone like appearance and witnessed his entire body shatter to pieces by Jamie. He made no plans to stay just to avoid Jamie noticing him. Eventually made his through the restricted archive area. He knocked on the door to a rhythm to signal that it was him and safe to unlock.

Once inside, the man saw the room with papers and books scatter everywhere a woman reading something on the other end of room. "Taris! Were you able to finish searching for what you needed down here! I don't know how many soldiers are left. But with Phoenix Wing still out there, I'm sure they can create a long enough distrac-." The women slammed the book on the table, cutting the man from what he was saying. She gave him a stern look while she tried putting some notes away. "Your distracting me right now. Lucky for us, I already found enough information that I need and wrote them down. I'm was about to leave and meet where we planned, but I was just messaged that you have to observe whatever was going on out there until it finished. Apparently it's of some interest. So once you're done, meet up where we planned earlier."

"Fine, but there's no point of going out by yourself. I'll just escort you outside the palace so no one gets suspicious." The man's recommendation was answered by a simple nod as she lifted her hood over and hid her face. "Also, I found this earlier, its magic from what I seen is similar to what we found. Perhaps it could help." Taris received the broken staff and placed it in her cloak as the two walked out of the archive room and made their way outside.

The mentor made a quick return as he saw a regiment of soldiers running away from where he last saw Sayrui. He eventually saw not only Sayuri, but also Liana with the seems like Phoenix Wing. Once he walked over to her, he greeted with a simple bow. "Princess Liana. It's great to finally see you again for all these years. Forgive me if I wasn't around to protect those years ago, I thought you were gone for good since the new fake King and Queen took the throne. Recently I saw someone that I believe was you, but was unsure. Seeing you now, I can reassure myself and say that you are that same little Liana years ago. Although you have grown, it's not just the hair, but the mark and eyes are the same as I remember, resembling that of your father's own key features. I hope my presence here isn't too much for you. From what the people I've spoken to before, they all believed you were gone, I too believing you were gone. Please forgive me.

Beatrix

Several assassins lined up, aiming weapons that appeared like rifles at Penny and Angelo, being those two were attacking the Dragon Chain Cannon directly. Before a single shot could be fire, Beatrix's foot connected with the man on the farthest left, sending him crashing through the others and toppling them all with varying amounts of damage. "Don't worry about your toy," she claimed, a smirk already on her face. "You've still got your hostage to take care of!"

Before she could get back to attacking the scattered formation, Edo-Damien appeared at the scene and claimed he killed Edo-Maddox. This only made Beatrix frown. "You bastard!" she shouted at him. "I wanted to kill him!" Her momentary distraction was all that was necessary for a sword to slash across her side, though a last second reflex saved herself from being mortally wounded. While the pain was evident on her face, she still recoiled around and kicked the gutsy assassin in the back of his head, sending him crashing into the giant cannon, narrowly missing the recently arrived Jayce.

Though her hands were still cuffed behind her back, Beatrix moved her elbow in an attempt to put some pressure on her bleeding wound. "Son of a bitch almost got me," she mused to herself, wincing in pain from touching her own wound. Between her effort and the recently arriving Edo-Damien, almost all of the assassins were defeated. And those that were still conscious or able to fight were only a handful. The Dragon Chain Cannon, on the other hand, was still very threatening.

The giant mass of rock it was dragging was drawing near the capital city. While it moved relatively slowly, everything in its path was getting crushed and dragged asunder. Perhaps people in peak physical condition may outrun it, but the many civilians in the town were surely doomed. Beatrix grimaced and turned her attention to the cannon itself. The heat, electrical attacks, and the sabotage were taking its toll on it. As the tan woman began running toward it, she noticed that the joints along the cannon were beginning to spark on their own without Angelo's attacks.

"That thing's about to blow," she commented, landing next to Jayce. Rather than letting him escape on his own, she flexibly lifted her right leg up and hooked her heel onto his chest. Surprisingly gentle given her strength, but the resulting shove she gave would send Jayce flying backwards away from the cannon. For her own escape she jumped away from the reacting cannon, landing next to Jayce and skidding to a halt.

The timing was expert. After one final bolt from Angelo the cannon couldn't stand it any longer. The first reaction was the shattering of the magical chain across the sky. It ground itself into fine, white particles and the fallen island of Extalia stopped moving just before it could crush the nearest building. Then the cannon itself exploded in a massive fireball. The force of the detonation caused the weak cliff underneath it to collapse, sending the flaming pieces to the ground where they were covered underneath the rubble.

The remaining assassins looked stunned. On top of their guild being almost entirely defeated by only two people, one with their hands tied behind their back, the other had claimed to best Edo-Maddox and was backing up his words with his strength and skill. The plan had failed completely. As the noise from the collapsing cliff began to settle down, the last able assassins began throwing down their weapons and surrendering to Edo-Damien.

Beatrix began laughing at the sight. "And you all thought you were so strong and powerful!" she remarked, before wincing at the pain laughing brought her. She was still bleeding somewhat severely from her wound. The tan woman approached Edo-Damien and turned her back to him. "Can you do me a favor and break these cuffs with your sword? I can't use my magic so I can't break them myself," she asked, using an unsurprisingly demanding voice.

Maddox

The red-haired mage raised an eyebrow at Melina's suggestions. It was clear she was trying to take up a honey act. "I don't think the act of finding a book itself is what concerns anyone," Maddox said, closing his eyes and shrugging his shoulders. "But whatever. If Jamie trusts you then I'll trust you." When he opened his eyes again he looked towards James.

"By the way," he began, "you and Damien were pretty brave to go after Grane. I forgot to give my thanks on that one." A smile formed on Maddox's face. "Everyone did well today. You all deserve a celebration once it's done and everyone is back. Things could've gone a lot worse than they did."

Karn
Fiore || Mt. Hakobe->>>Magnolia
Interacting: Zenoram/Zero, Hemlock, Mithera

The blonde hummed a little, nodding a little at Zero's words before smiling brightly at Hemlock's statement, excitement twinkling in his eyes. "Awesome! We can experience it together! It's my first Guild experience as well, but Master Rian said it was pretty fun and exciting. And a little chaotic in Phoenix Wing's case. But it was like having a family as well. Should be super fun!" he cheered before standing and looking to the dragon's head as he spoke once more.

At the firm statement that it should only be the four of them to return to the dragon and no one else, the blonde nodded, saluting a little. [color=lime]"No worries! We won't tell a soul or bring anyone else back! Promise!" He said cheerfully before looking to his three companions with glee. Turning his back to the edge of the dragon.

"Last one down is a Winged Fish!" Karn cheered before he fell backwards, disappearing from view as he plummeted off the dragon and down back to the earth, falling through the clouds.

He felt the wind smash against his body as he plummeted downwards with a large grin, facing downwards as clouds soon left his vision to be replaced by the sight of the city. He liked the feel of the wind, and being in the sky. It was nice and calming. Soon, he transformed into a Pegasus, slightly flapping the wings to slow the decent before transforming into his Chimera as he neared the ground. The massive body plummeting down before slamming his paws against the ground, the stone cracking under the impact.

Puffing his chest, Karn transformed into his human form, legs wobbling a little as the impact leftover tremors transferred into his body a little. Blinking, he looked up at the sky curiously for the others before turning and blinking as he saw Jamie with a green haired boy. Smiling cheerfully, Karn waved both arms estatically as he saw the Guild Master.

"Hi GM! Hi Sweets!" the blonde chirped, already giving the boy a nickname since he smelled strongly of sugar and spice and everything nice.

Edolas ???'Karn'

'Karn' curiously watched the Edolas Trinity walk past them before curiously staring toward his direction. Most likely, this world's Trinity was looking for her Guildmate and by the expression, had little success. Of course, 'Karn' knew exactly what happened but wasn't inclined to share the information. He wondered if it was cruel or not. To give them the small hope that their friend may have just disappeared rather than had died from a secret the Edolas Karn had kept from them? Perhaps even abandoning them was also a option? Though it was doubtful. It seemed that this Edo-Karn had been quite loyal to their Guildmates. So perhaps, it was just better to give them the small shred of hope.

As Mayt wrapped around the small body, 'Karn' blinked his emerald eyes a little bit in surprise, but 'gladly' accepted it with a bright smile and a instinctive purr of happiness from the attention. Though Wizard X couldn't help but be a little surprised at the action. This child had only met Karn not long ago, yet already developed a sense to protect someone who wasn't even a Guildmate just yet. Yet they supposed it shouldn't be too surprising. Phoenix Wing seemed to be filled with good hearted people in general, and Karn had quite a habit to invoke such a protective nature simply because he acted like he needed it.

The boy should really break that habit. Unhealthy.

"Are they hurt? Do they need help?" he asked Edo-Trinity with concern.

Melina
Melina smiled, and leaned against James some more. "Mmm, if you're worried about me hurting anyone, don't be. And I sadly didn't see this Grane fellow to chase after him. And what's wrong with flattery, Sir James? I've found it to be a very fun game to play, especially with those who are dull-witted. But, it does reassure me you both didn't just puff out your chests like Vulcans would at a compliment. Means Mithera isn't making a dumb choice." She gave James' cheek a kiss, before looking out the window as they came into the station, and as it stopped she stood up, holding the book she had taken. "Let's go then!" She smiles at them, and hooks her arm around James' when he stands up to get off, acting all lovey dovey, though she knows it wont get her anywhere.

Mithera
Mithera looked surprised when Karn jumped off the dragon, and it was all she could do not to jump after him. She took a deep breath, before looking at Zero. "Climb on and I'll fly you down." Once Zero had climbed on, Mithera carefully stood up before jumping off as well, doing a careful glide that was fast and efficient in its getting down, but wouldn't risk causing Zero to fly off. She eventually landed in the back yard of Phoenix Wing, a good bit harder than she had meant to, and she winced slightly. She turned her head to face the guild, gently shifting her weight off the ankle she had partially twisted. "Welcome to (Nghk) Phoenix Wing. Where I've basically been living for the past couple months." She started to lie down, letting Zero get off whenever he pleased.

Felix Lancaster

The Magnet Mage

Felix watched intently as the two sparred with a bit more intensity than he had expected from a simple sparring match. Also, this match was definitely not non-magical. He felt he had learned a bit, but till had a long way to go. He turned to the other new members and smiled. "Anyone want to have a match with me, since Damian's down?"

He paused and smiled at Minerva. "That was an amazing match. In fact, I thought you had him several times. I have to ask. My magic gives me a kind-of sense when it comes to metals. The rate at which you moved your sword at times was immensely faster than your normal movements. Does it make you faster?

He was genuinely interested, and not for any tactical reason. He found different applications of magic interesting. HIs magic was a very flexible one, o learning to do new things with magic was always a benefit.

Master Jamie nodded, looking back over to the boy. "yes. We take ten percent of your monthly intake from jobs, to cover expenses and rents. That way, you have money to live on as well as a place to stay, and you aren't always battling to find rent" jamie said, "you haven't told me your name yet" and as they reached the guild, Jamie stopped, as Karn came crashing to the ground.

"hello, Karn. Glad you got back safetly" Jamie smiled warmly, "shall we head inside?" she asked, and watched as Mithera flew down as well. "I imagine you are all hungry"

Candy was happily skipping by the side of Jamie, the two of his lollipops almost finished with only half-inch worth of candy left in his mouth and was going to switch to another batch of endless candy inside of his pockets. However, his ears twitched as there was a faint rustling sound of feathers heard above the air and it wasn't a bird as it was too loud. Candy looked up into the sky to a flying horse falling right above... Was the sugar doing something wrong with his brain, as the flying horse soon morphed into some freaky animal that he could not exactly define and smashed into the street. Candy didn't flinch once the dirt and small pieces of rubble flew into his face as if it was not crazy enough, the morphing being soon turned into a human, making this one of the most interesting days of his life.

Seconds pasted as Candy's brain was trying to process the information going through his head and realized it was not really worth the effort and threw logic out of his head in that moment. Candy quickly crunched the rest of his lollipops inside of his mouth and spit out the sticks onto the nearby street, once that was over with, Candy's eyes were filled with complete and utter excitement. And I'm not talking about run of the mill excitement, I'm talking about being five years old and your parents telling you that you will be going to Disney Land excitement. Candy ran up to the stranger, his eyes wide and breath smelling of almost pure sugar. "Who are you? What are you? When did you even learn to do that? Where did you even come from!? Why do you have to have such an awesome opening appearance!?" jabbered Candy at such an immense speed, even if you weren't listening for a second you would lose on what he was trying to say.

Karn
Fiore || Magnolia || Phoenix Wing Guild
Interacting: Zenoram/Zero, Mithera, Rutger, Vincent, Damian, Felix, Amaya, Fleo, Candy, Minerva, Jamie

Watching as Mithera landed, Karn turned his green gaze to Jamie and smiled brightly. "Yup! Thanks to Mithera! We have someone new for you to meet as well! He's really cool!" he cheered, slightly bouncing in place at the idea of going inside of the Guild with food. Although he had just eaten, his appetite was quite large. So food was always good.

As the green haired boy came up to him and bombarded the boy with questions, Karn smiled just as enthusiastically, smelling the intoxicating sugar. Having a very sensitive nose, it was almost as effective as if he had eaten sugar. Weird how much this boy smelled of it but not a bad thing. Not minding the fired questions, Karn shot off answers just as quickly with joyous excitement.

"My name is Karn, I'm a transformation Wizard and I learned it from Master Rian who is a amazing Transformation Teacher and my other teacher Ru, who is a Chimera and the form you just saw, and I came from Kapu after getting a ride from Mithera and meeting Zenoram and Zero!" he chirped excitedly before pausing as he went through the front door of the Guild.

Emerald eyes staring wide open as he took in the sight of a real Guild. It wasn't a dream, it wasn't a fantasy. It was a actual Guild. With wizards. A lot of wizards. And a wide smile couldn't help but stretch across his face as the excitement and sheer joy skyrocketed until he couldn't contain it any longer.

"Woooooohoooo I'm finally here Master Rian!!!!!!!!!!!" Karn suddenly shouted before pretty much bolting to each individual within the Guild with a happy excited energy emitting from him.

First, Amaya. "Hello! MynameisKarn! It'sverynicetomeetyouDragoGirl, yousmelllikeadragon, areyouaDragonSlayertoo? Awesome! IjustmetanotherDragonSlayerandtheyaresupersupercool! Oh! IgottatellZeroandZenoram! Ibettheywouldbesuperestatic!" he said in a super fast manner as he grabbed her hand and shook it enthusiastically with both hands before bolting off to the next person.

Second, Rutger. "Hello! MynameisKarn! It'sreallyreallynicetomeetyouSpikey, thoughyousmellalittlefunny. That'sokaythoughcauseimjustsuperhappywecanbebestiebestfriends!" he chirped, shaking his hand in the same manner as he did with Amaya before bolting off to another person.

Thirdly, Vincent. Hello! MynameisKarn! ItisverynicetomeetyouKnify! Ihopewecanbefriendsandworkhardtogether!" he cheered, shaking his hand before moving on to another person. A obvious fact at this point that Karn planned to greet every single person he sees in this room.

Fourthly, Fleo. "Hello! MynameisKarn! ItisverynicetomeetyouBandy! Ihopewecanbefriendsandworktogethersometime! Oh! Oh! Justtowarnyoumakesuretokeepthosecoolbandagestight! Instinctssometimesmakesmewanttoswatatstringtypethingslikethose." Karn said while shaking her hand before moving off to two people.

Fifthly and Sixly, Minerva and Felix. "Hello! MynameisKarn! Itisverynicetomeetthebothofyou,OrangyandAry!YousmellniceAry!Butyoulookalittlehurt,Areyouokay?Illleabeyoubetorelaxandrest!" Karn said excitedly as he shook their hands, but briefly and more gentle as it looked like Minerva had been in some sort of fight before he moved on.

Lastly, exhausted Damian. "HiMr.Swordy! Nicetoseeyouagain, weneverreallygottotalksojusttoletyouknowmynameisKarn! Althoughyoudontlooksogood, maybeIshouldletyousleepforawhile. Okayokaysleepwell!" Karn chirped as he crouched beside Damian and shook a limp hand in a slow manner before standing up and bolting all about the Guild in a excited examination.

First, checking the Job board and quickly noticing the job involving Hemlock in which case, the blonde flailed and continued to examine everything. Have his mind worrying over the dragons safety, and the other still high on excitement juice. It wasn't long until he pretty much explored the lower part of the guild before bolting out of the backyard to greet Mithera and Zero/Zenoram.

"HiMythy,Zero-Kun,Zenny!Thereissomanypeoplehereitsreallyamazing! Everyoneissocoolandfriendly, despiteoneofthebeingknockedoutandquiteafewperhapshavingbumpsandbruises. Oh! Oh! Zero-Kun! Zenny! IfoundajobontheboredthatisalittleworryingandweshouldletyouDadknowaboutitwhenwegetbavkandsuchandandand..." Karn rambled on, making several wild hand gestures as he did, before he finally just started coughing and hacking in a manner that was a bit unsettling with how choked and gurgled it sounded. The excited manner putting too much stress on his currently unsupported body without Master Rian's presence.

Finally, he calmed down and took a deep breath before looking to Mithera as it appeared she might be hurt and his emerald eyes filled with worry and he looked to her leg that seemed to be bothering her. "You okay Mythy? Did the landing not go well? Do you need me to get you something?" he asked softly.

Fleo rubbed her eyes. The sheer speed and ferocity with which the two combatants fought astounded her. If she hadn't seen it with her own two eyes, she would have confidently insisted that nobody could come near, much less fight against, the maelstrom of blades that Damian provided. Yet, Minerva had indeed done so. Right off the bat it was blindingly obvious just how blindingly fast the woman was, but halfway through the battle (after she had been disarmed) she had apparently received her second wind, and moved too quickly for Fleo's eyes to follow. The dusty one could guess why the duel had been so intense: both wizards were fighting not only in the physical world, but also the one of ideals. Such a conflict turned a sportsmanlike struggle into a passionate vendetta, and when Minerva finally won, Fleo was just glad that neither had been reduced to mincemeat. If they had been any less appreciative of the consequences, they would have certainly killed one another--such was their tenacity.

Sure, it gave Fleo some pleasure to see arrogant, prying Damian knocked down a peg, but at the same time it also made Fleo feel guilty. She had wanted him to suffer a small prick to his pride, but losing after such a boast, not to mention to a lower-class wizard, had to hurt. Regardless of the mental consequences of the too-serious sparring match, the physical outcome was clear. Neither Damian nor Minerva could fight again anytime soon, and Fleo was glad.

How would she even have fought one of them? she ruminated. To start off, she would have called a Dust Craft: Earth, to create some territory that she could manipulate. After that...? That's what improvisation was for. "Maybe in a few minutes, Felix!" She called to the boy before he approached and engaged an enervated Minerva in conversation.

Then onto the scene, within only moments of one another, came Candy, Mithera, and most of all, Karn. Candy's odd appearance and total addiction to sugar gave Fleo a mixed vibe of insanity and friendliness, which she greeted with what she hoped was a friendly smile. Mithera's stateliness earned her a congenial wave, though Fleo didn't catch on to her injury. However, Fleo quickly found her entire attention thoroughly routed to Karn as the guy bounded around, talking a mile a minute and generally exuding a degree of hyperactivity that made even Fleo's head spin. She managed to be surprised when he seized her hand, endowed upon her a nickname, and belted out a good deal more before leaping to his next victims. Fleo could hardly compose herself to reply (mostly to caution him about the new dust on his hands, which he was now sharing with everyone else he was touching), and by the time she did he had already moved away.

Now, everyone who was here -right outside the guild hall and next to the place where the duel had gone down- consisted of only her, Candy, Jamie, and Amaya. Mithera, Zero, and Karn were a little farther away, Damian was sprawled on the ground, and Felix had gone inside for Minerva. Fleo looked left to right with a growing grin on her face. "You people are crazy. I guess I've come to the right place! Anyone want to help me get Mr. S-class inside?"

Minerva Fairchild - The Wrath of Ancient Kings

Sitting at the bar and periodically checking the handkerchief if the bleeding had stopped, Minerva heard a voice beside her. Turning her gaze slightly to look to where it came from with the corner of her eye, she looked eye to eye with Felix as he finished his inquiry.

Whether or not she decided to tell him the full truth was another matter, but for now it would have to suffice.

"You are partly correct, sir." She curtly began respectfully, relinquishing the handkerchief from her cheek as the bleeding had finally come to a stop and she leaned over the side of the bar to the sink, leaning of course upon her tip toes to do so. Cold water ran then, as the crisp water ran through the silk and washed off the crimson and iron.

"It is whole body enhancement magic. Both agility and strength are increased once I draw either one of these swords. So in an essence, your summary was correct. I move faster than normal when in combat."

Her continued speech was suddenly interrupted by someone coming up and vigorously shaking first Felix's hand and then gently shaking hers. Perplexed by the oddity of his behavior and being barely able to understand the mixed hastened garble that was his speech, the only return that the hand-shaker received was a lofted, quizzical brow, and a simple response.

"Nice to meet you, I think? Minerva is my name."

Glancing back over to Felix, her perplexed stance turned back into one that was apathetic rather quickly. "It was a brand of magic I inherited from my father." When Fleo asked for help getting Damian inside, Minerva scowled slightly. "Mister S-Class can sleep in the crater as far as I am concerned."

Trin turns when Mayt addresses her, somewhat startled by the man. Mayat, but... not. She frowns softly when he asks her what she found. "A pool of blood. I don't know who's..." She shook her head, rubbing her shoulder. "No sign of Karn. Who was..." She points vaguely after Mystery Karn, before turning back to Mayt. She's uneasy, as not knowing if Karn was even alive put her on edge.

Train - Earthland

"I can't say I want to know your definition of fun, either..." Trinity smirks as she leaves that comment for Melina, turning to Maddox as he compliments his guildmates. "I suppose that's a normal thing, then. Here I'm not even part of your guild yet, and I'm still sticking my neck out for you.

Master Jamie

Master Jamie watched as Karn raced around and through the guild, greeting everyone and making it seem like he had to get the words out before something happened. Hurricane Karn, Jamie thought, and chuckled. Such an eager and happy young man. Niave, but not innocent. It seemed sad, that someone so much like Karn wasn't innocent. But none of them were, Jamie guessed, looking over his guild members.

So many new members. Did we ever think it would come to this, Jarvis? When we started the guild, did we ever truly think we would have so many members? I dreamed of it.

She looked over at Mithera, approaching the shape shifter, and smiled, "Did you miss the guild that much, that you just had to come back? Or just for a visit?" Jamie said, apparently having forgotten that Melina was coming back to the guild. And then at the call for help to get Damian inside, Jamie sighed.

"After a fight like today, you coming home exhausted, you just had to duel some of the new members, who were most likely fresh" He shook his head, and raised a hand, "I'll be back in a minute, Mithera" Master Jamie approached Damian, and careful of her injured side, lifted the S-Class mage up, supporting most of his weight.

Jamie didn't move damian that far. As soon as they reached a table and chairs, Jamie ungraciously shoved Damian in it making sure that he would fall though by pulling the table slightly closer, and resting Damian's head on it, before returning to Mithera, looking to Karn as well. "have you been given your guild mark, yet Karn?"

Penny

As the Canon blew, Penny was miles in the air, just above her limit, but she still managed to prevent the damage and rubble from landing on homes and buildings, or any people with high intensity flames.

When it was over, she flew down to the ground. As she landed, her flames dispelled, and she stumbled. Not completely recovered from before, that display of magical energy really tapped her out.

She took a few deep breaths in and out, and then looked about, jogging after Mayt and 'Karn'.

Liana

Liana saw, as if in slow motion, Edo-Jamie come out of the castle, stumbling slightly, appearing worse for wear, their robes tattered, and clearly injured, but walking out on their own power.

Then it was done. It was time for her to regain her family's throne. Her heart was beating fast, hard, as if it wanted to beat all its beats in just a few moments. Her breathing was shallow, and she was almost panting.

All her life, she had been preparing for this. Right from the moment her father had sent her with Jamie. Was she ready? COuld she ever be ready to sit in her fathers throne, to rise, and throw out her own shadow, over her fathers?.

She would have to be.

She looked about at all the destruction, at all that had happened here, and nodded. She would have to be. So she would be. Like every decision of Liana's, once she had made it, she set her resolve to completing it.

She walked towards the Castle steps.

Candy was excitedly bouncing in place as his soon to be buddy Karn was greeting everyone with such immense speed and happiness, it actually reminded of himself when he was even younger when he was living in the streets, barraging everyone with questions and how do you do's. It would also have to mean that Candy actually has someone that can match his excitability and childishness, so he would definitely have to have him as his friend. He also looked around the room, everyone seemed to be in better spirits as soon as the group of new guild members arrived and made quite the ruckus in this place. Before Candy could introduce himself, he needed the extra boost of sugar to help him out here and quickly shoved his hand into his pockets to retrieve three hard candies, four gumdrops, and two pieces of chewing gum. The sugar addicted boy popped them into his mouth, himself getting even more jittery and looking upon the guild once more with hyped eyes and grinned. Even though Karn maybe his soon to be friend, he can't be living under the shadow of his hype, so he needed to do something even bigger.

He soon found himself standing upon a table, shaking almost violently as he was now tapping into his excess energy to be used in large quantities rather than doing little movements to get rid of it. He knew this was the time to show his magic, as the aura of the room was relatively happy and everyone one in the building seemed to be all in one place. With lightning speed, he snatched a bag from somewhere around his body and pulled out one of his favorite creations, the jawbreaker. Candy quickly threw the candy into his mouth and actually crunched it beneath his teeth and swallowing the rubble of the candy to be digested. He soon extended out his arms and soon enough, multi-smoked started to randomly form around his hands and out of nowhere, two jawbreakers appeared around his hands as the smoke cleared and each was almost two feet wide in diameter! "He-" Candy managed to yell out before he suddenly freezing in place, and if looking closely, you would see his pupils go into their sockets as he latter passed out in those few seconds.

Candy stood there, unconscious for a second or two before starting to fall down onto the floor. However, the two giant jawbreakers hit the ground before him, cracking the floor with their immense weight and density with Candy hitting the floor with only his legs, as the jawbreakers were suspending the upper half of his body in mid air. Well, the mistake the Candy had made that caused that whole scene was because of his excess of sugar. His body maybe resistant to crashing compared to a normal kid, but that could still happen to Candy at anytime if he isn't careful with his consumption. Candy had eaten too many confectioneries inside one go, his body trying to do something to get rid of the energy, hence the violent twitching. However, once he digested the magically infused candy, his body could handle no more sugar and shut the body down to protect itself from Candy. Now, he was passed out with two giant jawbreakers attached to his hands, each with the toughness of steel and ranging to over four hundred pounds, each.

Edolas
Mayt
Mayt nodded, thinking for a moment, before speaking, deciding not to bring up the surprise he had seen when she had looked at him. "There wasn't a trail of blood or anything?" His concern grew somewhat, as did his grip on 'Karn's shoulder. He reached over and ruffled the kid's hair, trying to act friendly. "Thinking about it, could you take me to what you found, please? Or at least direct me there. I think I can figure out what happened, especially with Karn here." He smirked a bit, but didn't exactly look happy.

Earthland
Mithera
Mithera glanced over at the Guild Master as he spoke to her. "Mmm, don't get smart. I'm mostly just dropping these two off. Though if Zero here decides to stay, I may become a much more permanent resident." She said after half a moments thoughts, and began looking around at the complete lack of attention she was getting, growing increasingly annoyed at how little these people seemed to care. She was a dragon, and only a fool ignores such a beast. And when Karn asked if her ankle was alright, she blew him off with a simple "I'm fine." Her anger clearly evident in her voice.

Standing up, she barely acknowledged that Jamie said that he'd be back. Ignoring the pain in her ankle, she took a step forward and stretched her body out as she let out a roar, the enormous sound echoing over all of Magnolia, and even reaching as high as for Hemlock to hear where was flying up above. She would not be blown off over an over-enthusiastic child. When her bellow died down, she glared at the Phoenix Wingers, shifting back into her normal stance, though a bit more composed than before, and her ire would be clear in her eyes. She contemplated for a moment what to say, but decided to leave it at the roar. She gently shifted off her injured leg, but kept it on the ground so that the weakness was not obvious. She was just about ready to cook anyone that continued to ignore her.

Karn
Fiore || Magnolia || Phoenix Wing Guild
Interacting: Mithera, Jamie

Karn blinked a little as he watched Mithera as she gave a curt reply, glancing to Jamie as he went to assist the passed out wizard. He then blinked as he looked at his hands, now noticing they eyes were smudged in what appeared to be dust. Sniffing his hands curiously, he sneezed a little and his nose twitched. Pondering if it was too deadly to lick off. It probably wouldn't be good for coughing, so despite how instincts told him to lick his hands clean, he just used his jacket as a towel to wipe it off. Though his attention soon returned to Mithera as she let out a huge roar. Making the ground just about shake and the blonde lightly bounce as it did. He chuckled a little and hugged the side of the white dragon, happily cuddling the bigger creature.

"Wow you're super cool!" he chirped gleefully before his attention end snapped to Jamie as he returned and asked if Karn had received his guildmark.

If the boy had a tail, it would be probably wagging a mile a minute. Which was probably good, cause if he was a Chimera, the tail wagging could do a lot of damage. Bouncing a little in excitment, the green eyed boy shook his head as he smiled brightly.

"Nope! Not yet. Everything's been too chaotic for me to recieve mine." Karn replied, emerald eyes wide with hope and excitement.

Edolas ???'Karn'

'Karn' blinked slowly as Edo-Trinity explained what she saw and Mayt soon volunteering to go and have a look. By his words, the boy was just suspicious and keeping the Fake Karn close. Oh well, suspicious boys will be suspicious boys. Even if he did find something though, it was doubtful he'd actually figure out the cause of death. It wasn't something youngsters like him would know about and would more or less just point a figure and declare murder. Hah. Kinda funny coming from this one.

As Penny caught up to them, 'Karn' waved enthusiastically to her, though was still trapped in Mayt's hold. "Hi Firebird! Glad you made it back safely!" he chirped.

Jayce/Location: Cliff

Jayce flinched as the assassin who'd struck Beatrix slammed into the cannon beside him. Looking away from the man, Jayce nervously looked at the sparking bits of the cannon, muttering: "Crap,crap,crap,crap,crap,crap,crap..." as he tore away at loose panels that were more than likely just being forced away from the inner parts of the cannon from the overload. Blinking as Beatrix landed beside him, Jayce was completely taken by surprise when she kicked him away, just as the thing exploded. Shielding his eyes with his artificial hand, he barely managed to get a good view of the cliffside crumbling.

Descending rapidly, Jayce knew that he wouldn't have time to grab a lacrima from his pouch. Luckily enough though, he was falling over a decentyl sized tree. Grabbing a branch with his artificial arm, the force of Jayce's descent, as well as his weight shattered the branche, forcing him to grab another. Three branches later, he finally came to a stop, just a few feet above the ground. Looking at the smoldering remains of the cannon and cliff, Jayce sighed deeply. "...It just had to explode...I wanted to look at its insides too..." he grumbled, before he descended from the tree. "...I gotta find that lady though. She saved my skin back there." He placed his hands behind his back and pushed, cracking his back loudly before he starts walking. "Hell of a day..."

Master Jamie soghed at Candy's display, wishing, just for a moment, that everything could be normal. The next moment, that thought was banished by the wave of...comfort Jamie got from the guild. Still, it was evident that Candy needed boundaries, or he would crash and burn out before long. Which would be sad for all of them. He wondered who he could put to that job.

As Mitheria roared, clearly trying to get everyone's attention, most likely put out by the fact that Karn, the lovable furball, and the energetic Candy were taking most of the attention. Jamie smiled, much like a parent would at a Childs behavioir and said "do not fear. I would never forget you. You are just so....well interesting. I'm glad you are back, if only for a time. Would you like something to eat, while I get Karn here his guild mark, before he destroys the guild with his excitement. You can tell me what you've ben up to, to wind up with Karn and the interesting boy over there" Jamie nodded to Zero and zerom, heading to grab the guild marker

-----

Despite herself, Penny found herself smiling. She nodded, standing there for a moment, she bowed over, hands on knees as she fought to catch her breath. To make it so everything didn't seem so bloody cold. When she was stable, she looked up once more "now what?0

Trinity examines Mystery Karn carefully as Mayt speaks to her. She turns her attention to him when he asks her about where she saw it. "No trail. There was... something in the blood, though." She hadn't taken the time to examine it, so she couldn't say any more than that. "I can lead you there. I don't remember the way, but I can walk it again."

She turned to Mystery Karn after a moment, examining... him? "You are the Karn from... Earthland, yes? You look just like her..."

Lazarus

He folded his arms. "Because I knew you'd react like this." He grunted. "The me of this world, needed to do what had to be done. I wasn't going to stand in his way." He looked down. "I did miss you a little I guess..." He blushed before clenching his fists. "How did you see through his disguise?"

A whole lot was going on around them. He shifted his weight a little to balance himself against the force of the air the canon produced through the streets. His jacket rippled behind him. "We should probably help finish up here you know." He looked in Liana's direction, now glowing white, magic ready.

Edo-Lazarus

His entire body was stone cold. He twitched a little, trying his best to move. It appeared edo-Sasha's CPR had worked. His lips curled up, before opening up allowing him to croak out a few words, breathing heavily. "You aren't worth the risk..." He coughed, rethinking. "Besides, if you died, I'd have to go to dinner alone." He chuckled a little. "You're worth it Sasha." He thought some more. "Every visit me as my guards ever made to phoenix wing, you always..... Stood out. Radiant almost. I guess you could say i lo..." His eyes rolled up and he passed out from the blood loss. He'd live. But it was a miracle as it was, let alone staying awake.
