As Arcadius had spoken, Cruz nodded. "No problem. Welcome aboard. I'm Cruz Meister.", he said, extending his arm for a handshake. Lynda looked at the other teams. "The other teams seem to be doing some plans. Shouldn't we discuss for now what we'll be doing?", she asked to them. "I'll stay at the back, cheering you all on!", she said, calling a microphone out of nowhere. Cruz looked at her surprised, even though Lynda looked with a disappointed face. "This isn't the time for jokes, you know? How does singing helps us at all?", she asked. "You'll see my power when we are on stage!", she said, happy. Lyn just sighed. "... In any case, I'm taking the offensive. Even though I highly recommend that we stay together no matter what.", she said to Curz, almost whispering. "Yeah. If we are to disband, let's split into doubles.", he suggested to her, in a low tone of voice.

Tony was impressed with his team, all of them together were going to be extremely powerful. He was also surprised that they both figured out how to counter Marcus' ability. He was going to have to do some research on it. "Well knowing how to counter magic nullification would help me a lot. Would you mind explaining or teaching me how you do it? We should also devise some sort of strategy. Things are going to get crazy with everyone fighting everyone. We should make a formation, splitting up is probably a bad idea." He moved the group further away from the rest of his schoolmates, privacy was needed.

Meruin nodded and followed him. Once they were sufficiently far enough, she tapped both Tony and Ryan on the foreheads. Instantly, the landscape around them transformed; their minds were no longer inside the room.

This was her favored technique to those who were unprepared. Her technique 'Deception of Self-Perception' was weak when it came to penetrating mental barriers, but once it got the chance to, getting out was a very difficult task; this illusion was fueled and created not by Meruin, but by the person caught inside - unless Meruin released it, then they would be caught in an endless reality limited by their perception. Currently, she brought Tony and Ryan inside an illusion which they all shared.

To everyone not involved, the three of them would just be standing still, their eyes slightly glazed over.

"Here, we will have a much easier time thinking of strategies and displaying our abilities," said Meruin, explaining why she brought them here. "Your abilities, stamina, everything here, I have set to emulate with a hundred percent accuracy. Now, if it is strategy, let's begin the discussion."

Rayne simply walked into the Academy. It was awkward being a new transfer student,however, Rayne didn't want to be here anyways. After taking a glance around, she went back to studying her black book. "Doubt they have any necromancy lessons here." she muttered to herself, obviously knowing necromancy was strictly forbidden.

Ryan quickly adjusted to the spell and looked at Tony. "My way of adjusting to magical nullification cannot be taught. It is a spell in my Grimoire Deck, which is my soul in physical form. I can however show you how it works." A card depicting a scale floated behind Ryan as his eyes glowed.
"Secret Grimoire Art: The Justice!" Tony would feel a sudden influx of power as he gained the ability to use elemental magic. "The Justice let's you and your target share magical and physical power. I simply share powers with the one who attempts to nullify my powers and I gain their strength. Marcus is a strong man, but can he out muscle his own level of strength?" Ryan explained the Justice quickly.
"I can only hold The Justice for ten minutes though. The Justice operates on imposing the will of my soul upon reality. It does not operate on magic energy." Ryan released The Justice and gasped for air. He looked extremely pale just from the minute he was using it.

Michael, after dropping off their son with the babysitter temporarily, decided to continue looking around. On the way, he saw a girl reading what looked like a black book. Knowing the nature of the school, he knew it was probably magic and therefore none of his business, but for some reason, the girls aura rubbed him as wrong.

Then he read her mind (by complete accident) and his thoughts lingered around the word 'necromancy' - a word which he really disliked hearing, though not nearly as badly as the word 'Demon'.

"Excuse me there miss . . ." he said, approaching her.

Miithrail huffed. "That answer was most unhelpful, girl, however despite how useless you were I thank you for at least attempting to be helpful. Thankfully I am perceptive enough to guess what is happening."

They were all forming groups and talking about combat. It was fairly obvious what was being discussed among everyone here. "Teams eh? I assume that this means combat. I wonder who will have the good sensibilities to include me in their team? Truly, I am invaluable asset, so much so that I pity those who go against me."

Mithrail said all of this like it was completely normal. And in a volume loud enough to be heard by everyone, of course.

"Sit down class. Who does not have a team yet? I want one to go with Charlie's team, one with Agni's and one with Meruin's team."

"Here, I don't have a team" Alex raised his hand lazily.

Lucy just stared at the weird lady talking to her, and subconsciously raised her hand. "I also don't have a group."

@ScorpionLantern Rayne paused and looked up, showing no expression on her face. "Yes?" she responded in a some what gloomy tone. She then closed the black book after marking the page. Alexi honestly, was annoyed by the interruption, but being the new girl here, she didn't show it.

"Meruin's then please."

@MagusDream Arcadius grinned and shook his hand, glad to be on a competent team. "Arcadius, seeing as we are on the same team you may as well call me Magi." He told them. He listened as they began speaking of strategy, "I can take point or ranged support. Whichever you prefer, there's not much I can't do..." He spoke after Cruz finished. "I can fully control the elements, I am proficient in most other magic...including a few ancient magics from my families Grimore..."

Arcadius wasn't about to give away his entire arsenal, not untill the fights, and then again maybe not everything...

Marcus noticed Tony, Meruin and Ryan leave the room. He decided to be a littlebdemon and follow them. When he caught up to the three they were just standing in a triangle like shape doing nothing. He jumped from behind Tony and shouted "Boo!" But none of them budge. Marcus poked Tony's face and he still didn't budge. A smile appear on his face as he disappeared back into the class and ran back out with a marker. On Tony's face Marcus drew an awesome Italian moustache and a monocle. Since Meruin could actually kill him he only gave her a moustache. And last but not least Ryan, he gave him.....a pat on the head. Ryan didn't really do anything to him. "This is what happens when you tell people my weaknesses." He walked back into class laughing as the teacher told the class to sit down.

Slick smiled and stood up. "Welcome to the team Alex." @Vec

Lucy nodded, and walked to where the group was huddled together. She didn't know what else to do, seeing as they all looked like there were under some sort of trance. She raised an eyebrow at Tony's "makeup." Then she remembered Marcus has left and then came back with a mischievous grin on his face. "Real mature," she muttered. Lucy tapped Maruin on the back, hoping to wake her out of the daze she seemed to be in. "Uh, are you okay?" She asked the female mage.

Tony watched Ryan's display, "wow, that's handy. I guess I have some research to do on magic nullification." Hart splayed his fingers out and swiped the air. The very fabric of the air seemed to tear, and Tony reached into said gap. Pulling out an old, giant, worn, and torn book, he smiled. "This is the Ancient Spellbook given to me by my mentor. The amount of spells in here are extensive, so much so that I haven't read all of it yet. Hopefully there's a spell in here that I can use." As Hart read through the books yellowed pages he spoke. "So what types of magic do you guys study? I use Soul Magic, Dragon Magic, Life Magic, and Space Magic. Let's see, uh, I can externalize my soul in a few ways. Dragon Magic is my favorite, I have a contract with a certain dragon who happens to have become a friend of mine. Oh and I have a few Dragon Mimicry spells too, those are handy. As for life magic I know a few healing and defensive spells. Space magic is kind of TOO destructive, seeing as black holes, white holes, and the power of the stars can seriously mess stuff up." Tony smiled, Magic was so fun.

Meruin felt something tugging at her senses from the outside, however, it didn't feel urgent or dangerous, so she ignored it, however she did send an owl familiar to manage whatever was going on.

The owl looked like it came out of nowhere and stared at Lucy. Then it opened its mouth and spoke. "What is it you want? The mistress is busy. Be brief."

Meanwhile . . .

Meruin nodded in appreciation of Ryan's display. That was a truly interesting ability; she wondered, however, if that applied to her spell? Power was one thing, but her spell above all require control and knowledge. Well, it would be best to save such questions for later.

It seemed they were all putting their favored spells into display. That included Ryan's Grimoire as well. If that was the case . . .

Meruin opened the palm of her hand, and a book formed on top of it, piece by piece. It was smaller than it was supposed to be but there was no mistaking her Grimoire. "In terms of the magic I study, it can be summed up as . . . well, everything," Meruin stated simply. "Although I do have special talent for illusions. Perhaps I can show you . . . yes, that would be a good demonstration. Tony, Ryan, I want the both of you to aim your most destructive attacks at me. If you can, try and hurt me." The last part was added with an obvious challenge laced in it.

A spell that she commonly used but people rarely figured out the magnitude of what she was doing. She wondered if these two would be able to understand?

Slick smiled and stood up. "Welcome to the team Alex."

Alex searched for Slick when he called out to him. Damn, all the way over there? Why must you guys sit so far away from me... Alex thought. Nevertheless, he stood up and walked over to the trio. He picked a nearby chair and brought it over with him to sit down. "Yeah, nice to meet you" he told everyone as he sat down. "Seems like we're together on this one."

Lucy jumped a little as an owl appeared from what seemed out of thin air. "Uh, just tell her that Tony's sister joined the team I guess... Please?" She smiled, "Thanks."

Tony hesitated, was she serious? Although he didn't doubt her ability to block an attack, it was still dangerous. Then he remembered, this wasn't real. "Just to clarify, our physical bodies aren't affected by what happens in here right?"

Deus looked over at Cornelia then back at Marcus. "Hey Marcus, How about we make some strategies? It may be a good Idea, seeing as how we are against tough opponents, We should make some counter measures." Deus said while spawning an anti-sound barrier, just the machine that would activate it.

Cornelia nodded at Deus's suggestion. "I hate to say it, But Deus is right, I can always just skin anyone in my way, But because of stupid rules I can't"
