Charlotte - Shadow Eternity's HQ

She let herself get carried around by her blonde colleague as he had a strange desire to find other people to assist him. At least it was weird to Charlotte since she had no clue as to what was going on. The Transformium didn't help either. She climbed up to the vampire's shoulder and sit on him so she could have a comfortable view on what was before them.

"Hmmmmm... Cinder and Robo Doc are supposed to give me cheese! Let's chase them!"

She then suddenly took an over the top pose as she pointed forwards with her little witch arm. Charlotte was referring to the transformer she had a very close encounter with recently and Cinder Fall, her closest colleague and recent field trip partner. The Tranformium's effect slowly wore off which explained a more reasoned response as well as her lack of compromising input in regards to Cinder's activities.

Corporal Faures - GFS Mothership

While the Ork had done his job, the remaining two soldiers had indeed concocted the right openings for them to take. They all made their way through the many checkpoints that were lacking in surveillance due to Ridley's rampage which made the small platoon's job much easier. They didn't have much time before the whole place would blow up with the entire engine room annihilated.

When they sprinted into the Cargo bay, a wave of GFS troopers stormed in from a secondary entrance and mercilessly tried to shoot down the troops. Their escape ship was still cloaked but the risks were getting to great. All of a sudden the space pirate pilot of the ship ran out and covered Anderson and Faures as they would run up quickly to the invisible ship. The Pirate would stay as long as it could so that their beefed up captain would make it as well. In any case, the pirate wouldn't have much luck as the PED troops had managed to sponge enough of its shots to blow its left leg off.

"Shit! He's our only pilot!"

Shouted Faures, indirectly inquiring that the Ork would either find a much more creative solution to their problem or downright retrieve the wounded Pirate.

Meta-Ridley - GFS Mothership's Bridge

The Pirate Captain had lived this specific instant more than once and of course could not harness enough speed to counter his nemesis quick enough. Taking a direct shot in the mouth, his tail's spasm out of reaction would slap the woman off before she'd cause extra damage. In the end, however, his body crashed down a few meters away, only to get back up and glared at his foe. He was seriously pissed off, but out of that anger a new strategy would emerge. His glowing eyes would peer over at the levitating ship controlled by the hunter's ally.

Smirking in his mind, he charged a plasma blast from his scorched mouth, vaporizing even the smoke he was coughing out from Samus' last attack. In the following second, his plasma blast was thrown, but the direction was changed at the last second. In reality, his target became the autobot who dared to attack him while he was facing off with the dreaded hunter. If the powerful laser were to his, most of the ship's defenses would be immediately wiped out and the majority of its functions would be disabled not to mention the piercing ability of the blast.

"Hahaha! Soon, Samus. Soon you'll realize your mistake of coming here."

Dio

Dio turned his head towards the Witch as it suggested a few more operatives for the scenario. Cinder had to deal with this... Thing while he was out, and even he wasn't enough of a callous person to make her suffer through that again. The robot, though... He could work with that. From what he could recall, Shockwave's lab was relatively close by...

Continuing to walk down the hallways, Dio noticed an increasingly large amount of holes in the wall being repaired by some of the lower-end workers of Shadow Eternity. Shooting a condemning gaze at Charlotte, he walked to the room closest to the most damage and, knocking once, entered the room.

"My apologies for interrupting... And for bringing this thing here again. I'd like to request your aid for something- a raid on a ship. Who knows, you might be able to find some useful equipment there." he said, the usual deceptive smile on his face.

Kakine

Kakine winced as Marisa shouted into her earpiece, and he instinctively covered his right ear as it shot through his eardrum. It hurt, but at least it was working. After taking a few second to regain his bearings, Kakine noticed Misaka walking off and marisa just about ready to go chasing after her.

"Well, I guess we might as well do our jobs while we're here..." he said, sighing as he generated a sling bag and put his (relatively untouched) meal inside before closing it up and putting it on. "I'll go follow her. You're welcome to come as well; I rather think she'd like your company. Maybe."

That being said, Kakine swiftly went off to follow the clone as she went on her way. Hopefully, she wouldn't find herself in any trouble. That was probably the least he could wish for.

Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil

Nono grew more serious to mirror Saber's expression, nodding at the same time. "Yeah," she agreed with determination. She hardly needed Saber to say as such to agree with her. Such a betrayal could not stand, and while she didn't have particular experience with this sort of thing, even amongst the Topless, but she knew from her moral code that treason was a very grievous offense. And if that was Saber's determination, she would share it.

She went back to her food as well, and had to resist the urge to gulp down all her water with the next fiery bite. Fortunately for her a distraction arrived, even if her mouth felt like it was on fire.

"Hello," she replied to the chef with a wave, smiling happily. "It's nothing. Onee-sama really likes her food." She patted Saber on the shoulder, but otherwise let the King of Knights eat in peace. It was still a reasonable amount of food (for her), so any sort of intervention wasn't necessary yet. But if it was, there was no one more suited to it.

Misaka 10032, Client World Macross

Aware that her companions had paid whatever needed to be given in terms of currency, Misaka was already on the move, and she was soon joined by the duo as they left behind that particular restaurant. Admittedly, the Sister was unaware of Marisa's intent to seal yet more things, but she probably wouldn't have cared so long as it didn't compromise her mission. She could be weird like that.

Misaka then led the trio along towards the dominating feature of the skyline, the large mechanical robot that had been landed in an upright position in the ocean nearby, next to a large artificial island. Her scans, courtesy of her goggles, had confirmed it as a major hub of electricity, and the flow of traffic indicated that it was an important structure.

Of course, at the same time it was also probably well defended, but given how lax security appeared to be, she wasn't worried as she made her way towards what signs identified as the 'Battle Frontier'.

Cinder Fall, Shadow Eternity HQ

Cinder watched with some interest as the Leader revealed what was in the tube. She wasn't concerned with the nudity, or the efforts towards modesty, as she inspected the girl floating unconscious or in suspended animation inside the tank. Which one it was didn't matter, but it was interesting, and piqued her curiosity.

"I see," she replied with a half sigh, hand resting on her hip as she took a few steps forward, looking between the two others there, letting a hand rest on the tube, if the Leader would allow it. It certainly seemed that this girl was of particular importance to their leader, which was something to look into.

She hummed, before continuing her questions. "Would that be part of a personal vendetta you have with her, or simply the person you think is the most worthy?" She certainly had her own person in mind if she could have such an option, but sadly the person she had in mind would have to be eliminated for things to continue.

But, every bit of information she got would further her understanding, and she was looking forward to the answer to it.

Arragoz Plizgin - Da Muthership

Zog, dat's ow driva, innit? Hang on a squig...dat's it, I noze wot ta do! The Greenskin, having concocted a plan within his brilliant mind, immediately put it into action. Withdrawing three Stikkbombs from his seemingly bottomless supply, the Ork tossed them at the Space Pirate. "You'z distrack da muhrines, 'n' I getz away. Dat sound good?"

The Kommando didn't bother waiting for an answer, as he was already running towards the Krooza. Upon entering, Arragoz made straight for the soon to be late pilot's seat, and plopped himself down. As he mucked about with the controls, the Greenskin shouted a warning to the humies accompanying him. "Grab on ta sumfing, ya gitz, cuz I'z ain't stoppin if'n you'z fall out!"

After a brief period of searching, the Greenskin discovered the vessel's equivalent to a gas pedal and throttle, which in this case happened to be a large button and a multi-stage switch, respectively. In true Orky fashion, Arragoz set the switch as high as it would go, and then pushed it even further, before slamming his fist down on the button. "'Ere we go, ladz!"

Nothing worth taking in this world. He leaped from roof top to roof top. Not because it was cool or anything, but because it was relatively the safest place to be right now. His treasure hunt had become a bust. His first trip was at a world where the major focus was a school full of disabled kids. He was looking for legit treasure, not romance or friendship. Seemed he wasn't gonna get any treasure in this world either...

"Well... this is a bust..." He mused as he caught his breath. He looked around. He was about to ditch this world and head to the next one...

Then his eyes met a burly man decked out in an outfit that fitted more in a fantasy setting than some modern day world. Kaito hid his DienDriver, but kept it ready in case a fight was to break out. With his free hand, he waved to him.

"Oi!" Kaito called to Guts. "Enjoyin' the view?"

Kamen Rider... She had hated that man for a long time. Because of him, she was crippled to the point where her comrades cast her out and sent the Grim Reaper at her.

And now she knows that there's another one. And she hates him too. Because of him, she was taken away from the one place that she loved. From the one person she loved.

"Come along. We have a lot of work to do now." Eternal said to her. Chef vowed to escape his grasp... but she needed the right moment.

"Huh. I always thought it was a concurrent development thing. Figures Jack couldn't come up with something like that on his own though. As for a New-U here, that... might not be necessary."

The kuro footsoldiers returned, handing Takahara a title. It seemed the Shadow Line's remaining resources had been transferred to the ownership of Shocker+, under the orders of Emperor Zed. Takahara smiled and nodded as the Shadow Line was added to a list between "Black Mist Wrestling Federation" and "BAD Robot Rentals." The kuros handed him a number of rail passes, one of which he handed to Steve.

"This is a Shadow Pass, a free ticket to ride any of the Shadow Line's trains. They can travel between worlds with ease. Fair warning, the Kuros can be a bit... eccentric."

Saber - Restaurant District, Yggdrasil

“I’m so very glad you like it!” chirped the tiny chef happily, smiling widely as she gazed up at the two agents she had chosen to address. Saber wasn’t entirely sure how to respond, the sudden arrival of a tiny, cheerful girl who was apparently the chef was a complete shift from the previous serious atmosphere in the wake of the speculation on just how the Shadow Eternity troops had managed to enter Yggdrasil. Her mind now flew to new speculation. Was this girl somehow magical? Did a child really learn how to cook so excellently?

… Speaking of excellent cooking… Soon enough, the King of Knights was once again rapidly devouring her meal. It was simply too delicious to leave alone for so long.

“I’d also like to personally let you know about the Agent Discount at my restaurant,” she continued, “Given your duties at protecting all those who live here or in any of client universes, it’s only right to take at least twenty-five percent off of your-… Er…”

The pink-haired chef’s eyes came to rest upon the now-empty dishes that had once held a wealth of food, now picked perfectly clean in a matter of moments. Saber had completely finished her meal in the time it had taken the chef to introduce the agent discount. “… M… my, you certainly enjoyed your meal, didn’t you?”

The chef rubbed the back of her head, laughing slightly. Saber, however, gave a firm nod. “The meal was delicious, matching my expectations entirely. It was so excellent I certainly desire more of your cooking!”

The chef nodded weakly. There was definitely more food in stasis, but this was kind of unexpected. “Just a moment!”

With that, she hurried over to another one of the restaurant’s patrons, Gintoki.

… Meanwhile, in all the commotion, the only people likely to notice the figure in the long coat exiting the restaurant was the deposed Princess and her knights as they entered.

Kirisame Marisa, Client World 12262009-A(Macross)

Eager to see where the goggle-wearing girl would head next, Marisa happily sprinted after her. After all, this was a whole new world! People to meet(and steal valuables from) abounded! And surely Misaka would lead her to some more, right? Even if she didn’t, the perfectly ordinary witch felt quite confident in her abilities to ‘collect’ items. And hey, Kakine said that the brunette would even enjoy her company! It was another story to tell Alice. And potentially use to make her jealous depending on how things went. Alice looked adorable when she was trying to hide being annoyed, at least when it didn’t lead to dolls being used as blunt instruments and then a big argument and then danmaku. Well, actually, the danmaku part was fun as hell as far as Marisa was concerned but she didn’t like dolls hitting her in the face

… And then there was a mecha. These, too, were featured in the manga she’d nabbed from Kourin. The blonde girl tilted her head as she looked at the massive structure. That was a pretty awesome skyline, she had to admit. And… ‘Battle Frontier’? That just sounded awesome!

“Oh wow, Battle Frontier?!” Marisa asked with a grin as she strolled up beside Misaka, “That sounds badass! We’re definitely going there, right?!”

Dlanor A. Knox – Her Office, UMMA Vessel Tanngrisnir

It was gone.

How had they managed it? Why would they want it? The artifact was just going to a museum located on their destination. It was just a simple ancient gearwork discovered by archaeologists… well, complex given the time it had been dated to, in that world’s equivalent to the medieval period, but there wasn’t any conceivable reason that Shadow Eternity would want it. Dlanor sat at her desk, chewing through her selection of gourmet cookies. There had been no real value beyond archaeological ones found in the gearwork, and certainly nothing that would drive anyone to attack a ship like this…

She had consulted with the Chiester Sisters, who had located nothing. The passengers were unharmed. It was clear the goal of the attack was those gears, but why? They had even lost soldiers in the process of obtaining it. Why would it be so important?

Dlanor sat in her office, in quiet befuddlement. At least they would be arriving at their destination soon…

Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B

There girl was unsure. Black Rock Shooter did not believe this. Why would these people abandon a girl in a coffin in such a way? Why would any of this had happened? So, she calmly stepped forward. Gripping Rock Cannon tightly, she raised the immense black barrel towards the one who had first made the violent threats, the armored man. There was not the slightest hesitation in the otherself’s mind. To kill others was something that the black-haired girl simply accepted, there were some cases in which it had to be done.

A blue glow ignited within the barrel and swelled, before erupting outwards in an orb of blue light, hurtling towards the armored figure.

The Leader, Shadow Eternity Headquarters

The Leader’s gaze, insofar as could be discerned, travelled to Cinder’s hand as it came to rest upon the tube. For a few moments, it lingered there, before the Leader’s mask shifted to look back up at the woman she was speaking with. Insofar as could be told, at least. She gently ran one hand down the side of the tube, as the girl within remained entirely unaware of what was going on around her. She gently shifted unconsciously in the tube as the Leader began her answer.

“… You could easily say the reason I have chosen her is because I find her worthy,” began the leader, regarding Dead Master for a moment before turning her gaze back to Cinder. “And I wish to have an outside witness to see my plan come to a close. Her worth made her the only one I could pick for such a purpose.”

Gintoki

Gintoki turned head head up and temporarily stopped eating as another person approached him, this one appearing to be the chef of the establishment... Or a little girl pretending to be one. The outfit seemed to be dusted with spices, flour and the like, so he could probably safely assume that she was the legitimate owner of the restaurant. Her physical age didn't really cause much of a reaction from him- after all, there were prodigies back at home that could do so much, so this little girl being a head chef, though unusual, was a relatively normal sight.

"That was... Pretty good. Not gonna lie, though, but I think I honestly might die from how sweet this was." he said as he leaned back in his seat and took a sip of the cola. The carbonation was enough to cause Gintoki to immediately sit up straight in his seat; the shock it sent throughout his entire body was more than enough to jolt him upwards.

"Er... Wow. That is... Some strong soda."

Suwako

As soon as Black Rock Shooter jumped into action, Suwako leapt to her side. The second her feet left the ground, giant shadowy white serpents arose from the ground she had just been standing on and lunged at the armored enemy. Aiming her hands at the ground near her adversary's feet, Suwako quickly spawned a giant entanglement of vines to latch onto every nook and cranny of her enemy- a trick she had remembered from fighting Kanako way back when. Though rusting his blade would probably have done the trick, Suwako found the likelihood of her enemy's weapon not being made of standard steel much more plausible.

"I've got you covered." Suwako said to Shooter as she landed and prepared for a counterattack.

Kakine

Kakine looked at the two girls, a tinge of worry in his eyes. If the words "Battle Frontier" meant anything to him, it was probably something about the dark side of Academy City- something he'd much prefer to stay away from. He could definitely understand fighting to protect, but this sounded like a place where people fought for fun. With the way things were looking, it was very likely those two would get caught up in something out of their control and possibly get hurt...

Which meant he actually had a reason to make sure they didn't. Quickening his pace, Kakine caught up to the two girls and sighed.
"I'm not sure if this is such a good idea. Aren't there other places we could also check out? You know, ones with less fighting and such?" he asked, hoping that neither of them was too dead-set on watching people pummel one another into submission.

Guts' eye narrowed as he looked downwards.

"Get lost, kid. It's not safe here." he said, walking past the Japanese teenager that had greeted him. Guts had a long way to travel and limited daylight to travel in. He wasn't going to let himself get distracted.

"I know. I was just on my way to getting out... Then I saw you." Kaito doesn't bother to turn around. He did replay the image in his head when he saw Guts. One eye closed, possibly absent, metallic arm, dark steel armor, gigantic sword... He's seen a bit of this world to know that the fantasy getup didn't fit. One of the conclusions he drew? A traveler like him.

"I'm a bit curious as to what transpired and brought you here. Perhaps there's something involved that might catch my interest." Kaito said.

And so her Majesty and the Knights continued much closer to the establishment. Gwendolyn cleared her throat as Sir Attwatter and Sir MacCabe glanced up towards her. Gwendolyn held up her left index finger and gave it a playful waggle. "I trust you two gentlemen have an appetite?" The knights gave a simple nod of affirmation to her. She gave a good smile as she clasped her hands together. "Good." She blinked as she noticed a cloaked figure leaving the establishment. "Well looks like one of their patrons is leaving." She glanced down at Sir Garret and poked at his metal carapace, "Get the stranger's attention so that more analysis may be gathered on this establishment."

"Statement: Individual with the long cloak. You are wanted for the purposes of discussion." Gwendolyn slowly smacked herself with her right hand as she pulled it down. "Sir Garret you could have tried to be smoother." She said as she gave a few kicks while riding on her robotic knight. Sir Garret paused for a moment, "Her Majesty's Order has been Noted."

"Oh, this?" Kaito pulled out the DienDriver, though just showing the side of it. "This is one of the many treasures I've obtained on my own 'walk'. I'll leave you to it, then." Kaito put the gun away. Seems he's not a threat, though he's not really one to talk. He walked off, just as Guts asked.

"Alright, I'll stay for a bit." Maybe there was treasure he wasn't seeing.

Immediately noticing the blast of blue light, Kiba dashed to his left to dodge the energy sphere. He then looks toward the source of the blast and notices a black-haired girl armed with a rather immense gun.

"So, firing the first shot. Looks like you've sealed your fate."

He proceeds to close in on her as fast as he could, becoming a blur of speed to the onlookers. Once Kiba got close enough, he delivers a right hook aimed right for her face.

A voice sounded over a loudspeaker.
"Attention students. There has been an incident in front of the school. I repeat, there has been an incident in front of the school; please remain ca- wha? Oh God, no, NO. OH GOD HELP, THEY'RE EATING ME. AAAHHHHHHHH! OH GOD IT HURTS, PLEASE HE-" it was suddenly cut off.

All remained eerily silent. Guts reached up, grasping the hilt of his sword.

A rumbling echoed from below, then was promptly drowned out by the sounds of hundreds of people screaming in fear, terror, and even ones of agony. Guts could already tell the building beneath his feet was no battlefield. It was a slaughterhouse.

Guts tore open a door, and descended down the stairs into the building below.

-Lucas & Jeff-
Lucas stood up in the wreckage and saw a giant hole in the top of the Sky Runner; not the one that broke upon landing, but one that was burnt into the ship right as they began to plummet from the sky. Jeff saw it too. They fell approximately 1 mile from where the initial start of the plummet began, according to Jeff, and Lucas began to inspect it. Burnt through by intense heat, melting the steel on the outside and also burning through the floor and destroying part of the steering. Jeff and Lucas looked around; they were in Eagleland, no doubt about it. Landed in a forest, maybe near Threed, and they had been lucky to not even be injured. They got up and began heading in the direction of loud cars, and Jeff saw a gate. There was a sign that said 'NO TRESPASSING' in big bold letters on the gate, and Jeff hopped over, and turned around to wait for Lucas.

"What if we get caught?" Lucas asks.

"We WILL get caught if you don't start moving!" Jeff said.

Lucas quickly hurried over and jumped over the gate, and looked around Threed.

"What do you think made the hole in the Sky Runner?" Lucas asked, looking back at the forest. Jeff shrugged at the question, and they walked to the convenience store, and grabbed a few things, Jeff buying a pendant of some sort, and handing it to Lucas, to which he put it on and felt a little more durable, somehow.

Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil

Nono didn't put too much thought into the chef's appearance, well aware that such things could be deceiving. Look at her, for example. Anyone now would think she was a normal girl, not a machine created to protect humanity from a hostile galaxy that was actively trying to kill them. And the chef was nothing compared to that.

Eating a bit of her own food Nono couldn't help but smile, even in a bit of a resigned manner, as Saber devoured what was left of her meal, before announcing her desire for more. Hardly anything unusual there, to say the least. It was like she had a black hole for a stomach too.

As the chef wandered away, Nono couldn't help but give Saber another look over, both as a check with scanners, the other as more of an appreciative gesture. "Onee-sama," she said with appreciation in her tone. "I still can't believe you can eat that all and have more. I mean, i know you eat a lot, but it's like it just vanishes or something."

She paused, head tilted towards the ceiling as a thought occurred to her. "Well, I guess it would make sense with all the physical activity, but I don't think the human body is capable of converting energy that fast." admittedly, Saber wasn't entirely human, and it wasn't as if Nono could talk when it came to eating, but it was an innocent comment nonetheless, to distract from the great issues at hand.

At least, until they left here and had to face them. She could do that much for her Onee-sama.

Misaka 10032, Client World Macross

Misaka continued forward, intent on doing what she had been sent to do, her vision alternating between normal and that of her goggles, sliding them over her eyes every once in a while to confirm directions, though the robot dominating the skyline was generally hard to miss. It also looked like it had seen heavy use, though the damage had been patched up. And undoubtedly, Academy City could make something like this if pressed, not that there was a need to.

"'Yes,' Misaka affirms with growing excitement and anticipation as she looks upon the large emplaced strcutre," Misaka told Marisa, with the Witch now beside her. It seemed that their companion was eager to see it as well, if they could get inside.

That said, she shifted towards Kakine, to address his concerns about their destination. "'Analysis of radio communications and traffic flow indicates that Battle Frontier serves as the military headquarters for the New United Nations,' Misaka informs her partner in a manner intended to persuade. 'Assessing military capabilities of other worlds is part of our exploration parameters'."

With that said she moved along the road towards the bridges that crossed the gap between the shore and the Battle Frontier's large arms, to board it and begin their investigation. It was sure to be interesting.

Cinder Fall, Shadow Eternity HQ

Now that was interesting, Cinder thought to herself as she noted, and ignored the shifting of the girl inside the tube. Her own posture was relaxed, like a panther that could spring to the hunt at any moment. And yet determining the kind of creature the Leader was, was a lot more difficult, given how she acted, what she did, her professed motives. It seemed that nothing was simple these days, but Cinder didn't mind too much.

"And what makes her worthy," Cinder inquired further, giving a more calculating look to the girl in the tube, resisting the slight rise in anger and concurrent subtle spike in temperature. "She seemed to be a fairly normal girl, slight differences notwithstanding." It was no different than that Tmeplar robot girl that was Ironwood's pet project. A being masquerading as a human? Well, that applied to an even larger segment of the population.

Now hen, time to see what could be learned from this.

Senbonzakura - Client World 576143290-B

So, the first shot was fired, and not by their side. Senbonzakura sidestepped to avoid the projectile being fired at Kiba, then Flash Stepped into the air to further avoid Suwako's attacks.

Senbonzakura was glad that he didn't make the first move, since that meant he now had an excuse to use lethal force. Drawing his Zanpakuto, he positioned himself so the blade was pointing straight up and the sharp edge was facing outward. Turning his blade 90 degrees to left, Senbonzakura calmly stated his release command.

"Scatter."

A moment later, Senbonzakura's blade began to disintegrate, starting from the sword point, and the tiny pieces coming off of the sword began floating in a circle around Senbonzakura. The light reflected off the tiny sword pieces in a way as to resemble cherry blossom petals, and the cherry blossom sword petals quickly shot toward the vines Suwako had created, slicing them up into tiny bits.

Senbonzakura then directed a flow of the cherry blossom sword petals toward Suwako, intending to gravely wound the girl by inflicting multiple lacerations.

Spy - Restaurant District, Yggdrasil

Spy flicked away a finished cigarette into an ashtray, then pulled out another from his disguise kit. Lighting it and taking a puff, he examined the surrounding buildings.

Even after all this time, he had yet to find Heavy or Medic. He had heard rumors of crazed doctors and fatass minigun wielders, but a few of those leads had ended up with dead ends. Here he was now, hoping to find something out of this.

As he walked, he heard his stomach rumble. Perhaps it was time to get a meal. It might also be a good opportunity to gather new information.

Heading towards a nearby restaurant, he stopped when some odd-looking individuals began apprehending a person in a long coat. Spy decided that this matter would be worth investigating and activated his invis-watch. Turning invisible, he moved close to observe the group, but not too close so he could avoid being detected easily.

The flock of Mesets subsided as volley after volley of concentrated fire grounded them. Tendrils of C-Virus-infected flesh frantically attempted to knit the Mesets' ruined wings together, as the commandos took the advantage and pummelled the beasts with explosive volleys of assault rifle fire. Meset after Meset burst into cinders as the Pit was cleansed. At last, the murder of Mesets subsided and the Pit seemed clear. Within the generous smattering of ex-Meset ashes, several objects glinted. The commandos sifted through the ashes, each presenting what they found.
"I found a box of TMP rounds." said Ollanius, who promptly tossed it away.
"Founds a gem. 'S blue!" said Microcline, who promptly popped it in his mouth and began greedily masticating.
"I found a key card with a chess piece on it!" said Hu, turning the card over in his hands.
"That must be what that note was talking about! Give it here!" said Hampus, cracking his neck and rubbing his shoulders. Microcline, Ollanius, and Hu looked at Hampus with an expression somewhere between immense surprise and disappointment.
"It's good to see you alive, sir," said Hu, without a hint of sarcasm. "Since we've got one out of three cards, we ought to rendezvous with Group B. They said they'd take the right path, right?"
"That's what the Lieutenant said," said Ollanius. "It looks like there's just enough space to get up to the door, c'mon!"

Neo-Umbrella Facility, Office Complex, Shadow Eternity Commandos Group B

The fluorescent lighting of the complex quietly hummed to itself as Group B broke formation and took cover behind the cubicles ahead of them. Drywall would make cover about as well as water, but it was better to have a false sense of security than no sense of security. Lieutenant Jack Morgan listened intently. something was approaching. Though it definitely appeared to be making a novel attempt at silent movement, its sheer size betrayed it. Jack Morgan held up three fingers to the rest of the Group, and counted down as the footsteps grew closer and closer.
The footsteps stopped. Jack's stopped counting, and gripped his rifle tightly. With one urgent whisper of "Go!", Group B sprang forth from cover and ambushed the... nothing inside or outside the room.
Jack could barely get "What the fu--" out before an invisible figure gripped him by the head and began throttling him!
Sindibad, acting quickly, fired a few feet above Jack's head. With a trio of meaty splats, Jack's assailant's attack was ended, along with its cloaking system and its life.
With a soft crackle, the creature's cloaking system faded, revealing a truly alien sight.
Any time Jack could have taken to assess their newly-deceased target was cut short by dozens of stomping footfalls from behind him! Another group of similarly-shaped monsters, these ones decked in green fatigues, was charging forward from where Group B had just come from! The Group prepared for battle, as the squad of monsters readied wicked-looking blades made of energy.

Samus Aran - GFS Mothership's Bridge

Samus suddenly finally found herself taking a direct shot from Ridley's tail, sending her flying back the opposite direction. She manages to get her footing and skids across the cold metal floor, sending sparks from the friction, and stopping with a screech. Finally she had caused some damage towards her opponent! Yet despite the flow of adrenaline through her veins, she was getting slowly tired. She can probably go on for just some more time, but she knows that this is a battle that she has little hope in winning. She glares back at Ridley's yellow-glowing eyes as he unleashes a plasma attack... at the bounty hunter's ship!

Swerve - Hunter-Class Starship - Above the Mothership

"GAAAHGH!" screams Swerve in panic as the laser from Ridley hits the wing of Samus' ship, causing a heavy explosion. Lights blared throughout the ship, as many of the ship's onboard senses became critically damaged and the ship losing control! Swerve tries to control the ship as much as he could, but unfortunately not enough to keep it floating.

"Samus!" he yells in the comnlink, "I'm going down! Repeat, I'M GOING DOWN!"

Samus Aran

Samus could hear the Autobot's cry as the ship began to crash onto the surface of the mothership, causing several small explosion to take place.

"Swerve! ...Swerve!" the bounty hunter calls into the comnlink, trying to get an answer. Yet she didn't receive an answer. She looks back at Ridley with another glare, as the space pirate crackles in glee.

"You... bitch!" she hisses quietly as she prepares her weapons for a final, all out, assault! From her cannon, she fires the last of her guided missiles, a total of 5, all racing towards Ridley from several different directions. Two from the left, two from the right, and one straight the middle! Samus then takes the opportunity to distract her opponent as she exits the bridge and towards the center of the ship. She may not win against Ridley... but there is something else that she can take from him...

HIS SHIP.
