Awesome, looking forward to it.

do flintlocks even use gun powder?? *facepalm* cuz I said mine did. I don't know
I was thinking of my character having duel pistols, but since you said you're looking for black powder firearms, would black powder revolvers be okay? Or are we sticking to flintlock style weapons?
This is really interesting, I didn't even know there was another kind of gunpowder. Also:
Great point. I was thinking something really close-range. Also, maybe the serums she'd make wouldn't be too strong, so it'd take multiple doses to knock them out or something?
Hmm... Would you mind maybe picking another weapon, and that can be like her "last resort" type of thing? It's a cool idea, so I'd like to see you use it, it just concerns me. So if it's her last resort, maybe you could say she isn't sure how the serum will effect people, so she tries not to use it since she doesn't like hurting people.
Also, if you wanted to play the crew's "medic" or scientist or something along those lines, I think she'd be good for it. Up to you, though, just an idea. (She can still fight, of course.)
So are we nearly ready to start?
@_@ Wish I could be a faery D;
Name: Winter
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Sexuality: Whatever
Appearance:
Personality: Winter is as cool and collected as the season she was named for. Elegant, sharp, and unforgiving, her icy exterior hides a wicked rage, festering just below the surface. This side of her hardly ever makes itself known, however. Winter typically puts up a calm, more nurturing front, and can even be playful or teasing to those she grows more comfortable around.
Weapon of Choice:
Other: Winter is an exceptionally deadly and ruthless fighter – all control, creativity, and measured fury. While on the Leviathan though, she does a good job of keeping this hidden. Instead of fighting, Winter serves as what she likes to call "ship baby-sitter." She does much of the cooking, patches her crew mates up, and overall acts as a grounding presence and voice of reason..
