In all honesty, a character as big as link doesn't really need a long backstory as much as a link to the wiki of whichever game that Ollum is taking his Link from.

As I recall there's plenty of room for late players to join in after it's started, I'm not saying to abandon anyone XD just to get things kicked off 'while' waiting for them.

well, I can't consider that if I don't know you're runnin a bunch of RPs xD though, doesn't it 'start' with us in the Virtual world XD or would it be something more akin to being 'between' worlds?

It would be cool if it started with the plug being put in and us being warped into the game world by means of Jamiroquai travelling through the tv in the music video of 'Canned Heat'. And if more people joined they could just be people coming to check on the group and being sucked in when they pick up a controller or something. Just a thought.

Ya you don't have to leave the game.

In fairness I have a personal policy. Once a game starts no matter how interested I am, or how far along the story is, I just don't join. I don't know why but all of my motivation gets shot once I start having to play even a small game of 'catch up'. So I if the situation was on me I would also be asking the Dm to hold off until I was finished.

But I realize there are people not quite as picky as me who are fine with joining an in progress game. I'm just not one of them. That and some people post slower than others so that has to be taken into consideration.

If this game were to do that and not wait for me I would have just walked away from it.

So I can understand if someone is frustrated when a game isn't going to wait for them to be ready.

I am torn between World of Tanks and League of Legends.

Simply because being Dunk Darius would be fantastic, but at the same time...
