Honey

Honey cracked a smile in her relief at the comment that she was well. But that smile quickly dropped as she watched the lab-coat wearing stranger flick his scalpel and cut clean through a pod, mirroring the one she just came out of. Whether there was a person in there or not, Honey didn't know.

Fear wasn't what Honey felt when she saw that but kind of a mix of surprise, confusion, and a hint of curiosity. She cocked her head to the side, squinting with a her mouth only slightly open as the man finished with his message. She watched him take a few steps before snapping out of her thoughts.

Not really taking the hint of 'wanting to be left alone' Honey called after him. "Hey wait!" She ran after him, careful to avoid the shards of glass because unfortunately, Honey had left her shoes back in the van.

When Honey caught up to the lab-coat fella, she slowed down and matched his pace. "How do you think we get out of here?" She asked with a mild hint of awe in her voice. She had never seen anything like this place in her life. That's when she noticed the floor lights, blinking almost as if they were sending a message. She followed the trail of lights with her eyes until they eventually passed beyond her vision, far down the hall. "Oh, I think the lights are signaling something!" She happily pointed out just in case her new friend hadn't noticed.

Eli clutched Aiko tightly but it was all without any look of relief. The pain was still horrible, but like hunger and anything else that happens in the human body, pain was little more than message that could be ignored. "You think a little pain is gonna stop me, you aint been paying too much attention have you girl?"

When the alarms went off Eli couldn't help but roll his eyes. More shit was going on? When the fuck was this going to stop?

After listen to what the Piss Wreaking, Shit Stanking Bitch and Queer Bait Max had to say Eli didn't know who he wanted to hit first. On one hand Queer Bait was just spouting off useless nonsense. Does he ever have anything useful to say? Outside of not being able to follow whatever he it was that he said, Eli couldn't help but getting the feeling that it was pure conjecture and ramblings. That lead him Piss Wreaking, Shit Stanking Bitch, first and last of her name, if Eli could help it.

"Quite Queer Bait, the grown ups are talking." Elijah said to Max before turning his attention else where.

"Help to do what? If that really is space I can't do shit. Pass that I'd rather be dead than to help you at all. You, who would steal a young child.
I'd wish a pox on you but why do that when I can just melt half of your face? So I guess the only options you have is explain or we can all die here together. Ask anyone, I am totally that kinda asshole."

Nate just nodded his head. "He really is, we only keep him around for baking potatoes and the occasional forging of tweezers.

Aiko began to look over Eli and saw the damage to his form. He could survive but...

He'd be in pain and the worst thing was infection he could get sick from the open wounds. And a wound in a spaceship? god only knows what was on this craft.

"Mister Eli, she killed the crew. They weren't human but she killed them." Aiko looked sad. "They were just doing a job..." Aiko was not one for murder. She saw a lot of death with her power.

She was saddened by this.

"I don't trust her Eli." Aiko whispered.

Camille Mahroug - Sympathy

Cindy's plight gained Camille's pity more than anything, and as much as the child-like warrior had a grudging hate for those who betrayed her, even a little, she'd notice her still ongoing pregnancy. As a female, she could at least sympathize with Cindy's current situation and reduced the tensions she was creating by looking down. As the woman weakly asked for Camille, and my extension, everyone else's help, Camille had the reflex to grab Cindy's hand and hold it tight.

"Sigh. Fine, but no more running away."

She ordered, pointing at the woman with her index finger before acknowledging the echoing roar in the ship, which grabbed her attention once she noticed how similar it was to someone she knew. It was Patel's, one of her allies who could easily deal with any problem she'd encounter. Her luck would continue as Aya also calmed the game for a moment, avoiding potential confrontations between Camille and the rest who were evidently not so much in the path Camille took. But the idea of finding Patel lingered, sure Light was a great juggernaut but it didn't make Camille feel safe at all, on the contrary she felt more exposed than ever if they'd rely on that freak. She didn't really have anything to protect herself with either since Cindy as hostage would be counter productive considering Eden was still to be birthed.

The question of how they'd manage against the aliens who captured them would then be brought up by this mysterious tiger woman Camille would only truly notice as of now. She scrutinized the furry woman for a bit, somewhat puzzled between who was the most bizarre looking between the human bird or the bipedal tiger. She didn't seem that hostile though, integrating herself as if nothing had happened to the team and casually hanging about.

"Lynn, je pense que we should keep moving forward and follow that voice. The aliens will probably go after it, so if we can catch them..."

She had suggested, with a spark of genius actually. She mostly wanted to be reunited with the monster of her team, but it was equally brilliant to at least have two demolishers in the team to fight an unknown menace. Plus having the hooded creature would prove subduing much easier than any other way. She'd follow the group while keeping Cindy's hand held tight for support.

Isaac ignored his new companion and kept walking down the hall. It's not as if he hated her, for how could someone hate a person they haven't even met? Isaac didn't have anything against her, but he didn't really care about her that much either. He was a man on a mission, and nothing would stop him.

Walking down the path lit by lights, he soon came to a large open room which seemed to have many familiar faces inside. He stopped in the shadows of the doorway and confirmed those inside. Then he looked out the windows to see the massive alien creature attacking a fleet of ships. He turned back to the group and grasped the general mood; one of confusion and conflict.

Isaac sighed in the shadows. Today wasn't shaping out to be the most productive day or the greatest. It was getting rather aggravating. There wasn't very much clear to him, but what was clear was that there was a reason he couldn't kill the driver of the alien space ship. Yet...

Isaac walked out into the room, appearing calm but vaguely annoyed.

"It would appear that we're all in trouble here." Isaac said as he walked out of the shadows. "Does anyone have a clear explanation for what's happening?"

Queen Bitch?

Her face creased into a frown, momentarily adding flaw to her perfection before she shook it away - lower lifeforms were generally annoying things but these ones, she chose to tolerate. Elijah Craigh was particularly vocal, as usually, but in his Southern drawl, it was difficult to make out what he was trying to convey to her. Whatever it was, it was mostly meaningless as he didn't try to attack her which would only result in his untimely death. Most notably, however, others chirped up and another even appeared in the doorway.

"I suppose I do need to explain things..." She murmured, watching an entire fleet of ships being torn to shreds by this new armada. "I will detail everything to you later but as of now, I will only give you what you need to know." Her tone lacked the emotion and playfulness of earlier; instead, it adopted one of sheer power. She could kill every single last one of them and she knew.

"There's been a lot of rumours to the source of powers in beings such as yourself on your homeworld but to sum it up, all of you have a disease. It normally attacks the nervous system, eventually clawing its way to the brain where it does catastrophic damage. It usually kills within seconds or minutes, really. Well, it should have, but it gave you lot powers and humanity the superiority it has been lusting for. Skip forward a few years to now and you have the largest civil war this galaxy has ever seen and both sides want you as weapons. This ship is owned by one side. They're the other." Pointing towards the massive fleet bearing down on by them, she casually made her way to one of the consoles and tapped in some information before standing once more.

"As for you? I don't desire to use your powers because they're useless to me. What I do need is a decent disguise. I'll be executed immediately if they take over and unfortunately for you, I'm the only one who can speak most human dialects and knows how to make sure that every last one of you fools don't get chewed up and spat out." Smiling, she casually sashayed past Elijah towards Isaac at the door. Lingering, she allowed her smirk to light up before putting on her innocent face.

"And you wouldn't want to kill me anyways! Think of all the fun you would miss out on." At this point, she had forgotten about Elijah and instead focused on Isaac, giving him a casual wink before she turned, giving him an ample opportunity to stare. "Anyhow, gentlemen and sweetcheeks, I don't believe you could kill me but you're welcome to try."

Almost as soon as her speech had concluded, the entire ship suddenly rocked and the lights flickered momentarily - there was something trying to cut its way inside. Or a whole army, if they were being realistic.

Cindy Wade

Despite the screams echoing down the hall that spoke of untold horrors and the general pandemonium among the group, Cindy found a certain reassurance in the small girl she recognised as Camille, taking her hand. Breathing gently, she allowed her eyes to slip closed, burying herself deep in thoughts and trying to think about the situation. Like it or not, she was going to have to give birth soon and although the location wasn't the best, it would have to do.

Finally, however, she felt Camille clutching at her and although she wanted nothing more than to follow the young powerhouse that could undoubtedly protect her, she was more than hesitant. Calling on her wisdom, she turned to speak to Camille. "Are you sure it's wise to engage whatever it is that was or what will be going for it? We don't look to be in the best condition as it is and going to try and find trouble doesn't sound like a wonderful plan to me." Afraid that the younger girl would turn on her, she quickly covered her statement to ease it's reception. "But I will follow you anyways."

Owlman listened to Aya, deciding that there probably were bigger threats right now than a lone undergrounder. Besides, Aya had been there before he'd blacked out. He hadn't interacted with her long in the sim but he had at least gotten the impression that, if this girl was the type to murder them all, she would not be this calm about it.

Besides, there was a pregnant woman there. Having him looming over you couldn't be very good for someone's stress levels. He moved out from the opening in the wall, taking one last moment to raise his talons to his eyes then point them at Camille. He'd leave it alone, at least until they got back to earth. Cedric would know how to proceed from there.

Those sounds were more worrying than anything. Assuming they were aliens, and unable to communicate his thoughts on the abduction even if he had any, he made his way past everyone else to the newly opened door. He turned his face down both ends of the hallway, trying to get a sound picture of exactly what they were.

Nytefall The Old One

Houston walked back to his apartment head hanging low. No matter how hard he looked he could never find any information about the Great Old ones, all he had found was dead ends and disappointment. The apparent cult he thought he had heard about turned out to just be a group of teenagers on hallucinogenics. Houston was beginning to think that people weren't taking him seriously. Perhaps it was more of a respect and trust kind of deal. Now that he thought about it all of the back alley information he had got was zero. Probably due to the fact that none of the people he met gave him a straight answer. The only way he could gain any respect or trust was by proving his strength and reliability. Opening the door with his keys he found the lobby in darkness, this wasn't unusual as the lobby had automatic lights to save electricity. What was unusual was that they had not turned on. Trying the elevator he discovered that the electricity wasn't working. "Great a power cut as If it could get any worse today!?" He would have to climb the stairs to the third floor, heaping another problem on top of his already sour attitude.

Sifting through his messenger bag he pulled out the flashlight he always carried around with him. The powerful beam easily penetrated the darkness of the lobby as he began to climb the stairs. It was quite late at night so Houston imagined that everyone was still asleep. Thinking back to the information he had failed to gather one particular individual had stood out to him. The man in question was supposedly linked to the cult of the twist tendril. A rather brutal cult who forced people to commit ritual suicide by dosing them with fear inducing toxins. When he had tried to investigate further the man left. Houston had simply passed this off as another dead end at the moment but perhaps the man knew something but didn't want to tell him. Taking his phone out of his pocket he scrolled through the picture album and found the picture he had taken of the man without his knowledge. Pondering on the image he reached the floor that his apartment was located on.

Looking at his phone he felt like he recognised the man somehow but Houston couldn't put his finger on it. Reaching the door to his apartment he grabbed his key and put them in the door but froze as he looked at the door handle. On closer inspection he saw that the frame had splintered as if someone had kicked his door in. Turning the flashlight off he replaced it in his messenger bag. Raising his hands to his mouth he whispered into them conjuring a purple flame that glowed slightly. Pushing the door open he walked into his apartment, before he could even step past the door mat an axe swung his way. Dodging backwards the axe missed and bit deep into the open door. His assailant struggled to pull the axe free from the door, Houston wasn't going to let him and threw the ball of fire at the figure. Their clothes instantly caught alight however the flame did not harm them.

The assailant was the man he had met early in the day, his eye's were red and full of fear. He hadn't reacted to the fire not even to dodge, he had given up retrieving the axe and pulled out kitchen knife lunging for Houston's throat. The man was sluggish and still on fire giving off a light glow. They were in the corridor now, Houston couldn't risk his neighbors getting nosy. Giving the man no time to react he punched him in the face and tackled him into his apartment. The man barely flinched from the punch but Houston managed to shove him inside the apartment, generating black smoke from his hands he hurled it at the man's torso. Maggots erupted on his torso burrowing into the man stomach. Now he reacted screaming in pain as he clawed at the holed they had left in his body. With the man distracted he snatched the knife from his hand and plunged it straight into his throat turning his screams into gurgled moans before the man collapsed on the floor> The maggots were still eating away at his body, Houston had very little time to search the man for more information before the maggots ate away his whole body.

Finding what he needed he watched the maggots at work, nothing escaped their razor sharp teeth. Once they were done the writhed in agony before dissipating in a puff of smoke. Houston had got lucky with them, however he still had the blood on his hands and carpet that needed cleaning up. But that can come later. Looking at the three items he had retrieved from the dead man he smiled, finally he was getting somewhere...

Aya had to stop herself from sighing in relief when it seemed like everyone actually managed to calm down. There were still some tensions but honestly she'd expected everyone to be at each other's throats by now. She flinched when she heard some sort of demented roar echoing down the hall. Camille spoke up and Aya paused when she saw how the smaller girl's eyes lit up. She raised an eyebrow, immediately distrustful of anything Camille thought was a good idea. On instinct, she snapped to the astral plane, eyes widening at what she saw.

Tentacles. Thick, white, and probing, coming from the direction of that inhuman screeching. Memories jumped back to her, both her own and Sebastian's, from that day that seemed so long ago. The day the Reformists all but fell. She jumped back to her body.

"Oh hell no," she said, unable to stop herself. "We are not going towards that thing. That mindless freak leveled the Reformist base like it was nothing! And no one can control it but Isabella, and it sounds pissed." Aya didn't like the idea of going up against anything that couldn't be reasoned with. Or maybe it was just anything she couldn't talk herself around. "We head that way, we'll be lucky if it doesn't kill us, or even blow a hole in the side of the ship."

Aya scrunched her eyebrows together and ran a hand through her hair. "We do need to keep moving though… Why don't we go and look for the control room? Ships have that, yeah? If you're right and a bunch of the aliens are gonna head towards that sound, then we can just let your Boogeyman take care of them. I don't think we wanna get involved in that crossfire."

"So that sound is that cthulu's fart monster thing? I owe him a rematch, but for now I agree with Aya there. Besides, I'm probably the only one who would survive fighting that thing. It sounds mad, and I'm pretty sure you can't control it little girl." Light said, looking for another path as a deep roar could be heard coming from the direction of the meta who had attacked the Reformists some time ago.

Finding another path, Light attempted to lead the others down it, away from Patel and towards a more open area with various alien looking plants everywhere and lots of machines that were recycling the atmosphere. She was surprised there were no aliens in this room either, considering it looked to be very important.

Eli fell to one knee hugging Aiko as she came to him. "Hush now child, its gonna be okay. You gonna be okay now sweet pea." Eli made it to his feet, though it took him a minute, never letting her go. He her once lost her, but that wasn't gonna happen a second time.

Turning his attention to the Shit Stankin Piss Wrecking Bitch. "I don't care how these powers or the effects of it on whoever. I'd be happy to help anyone that has yet to stab me, or kidnapped a small child. Let alone my friend. So have fun with it, cause ain't no one gonna take us again. I guess could burn
your hair off and see what happens. Eli said with more than enough defiance for the whole room if not more.

There was a distinct difference on what he was willing to do for someone who had wronged him and one that had done the same but had redeeming qualities. In his mind The Shit Stankin Piss Wrecking Bitch had none. Anyone that taken all the metas in L.A would surely more than a few people that could speak English. Either way, she had done enough for him not care.

"Come now child, we're gonna be okay. Ain't no body gonna be taken a one a slave. I'll burn em before they get a chance." Eli should have known better than to be so confident. Evidence had shown him that as long as this girl was around he was no where near the fighter he was even a week ago. A man that once had next to nothing to lose now had a lot more.

Wait, what was that?

The Owlman pulled out of the doorway and went over to Aya, fumbling for his phrase book.

It wasn't there.

That was right. He wasn't even wearing a shirt right now. The book was...he didn't know. He'd thrown off his jacket what felt like ages ago. On the roof. He'd intended to go back for it, once everything had been settled. Or at least get a new one made. But he couldn't now. It was gone. It was never coming back.

He couldn't talk.

Instead he hooted. He didn't know what else to do. Slowly, so slowly, he reached out to Aya with his hands and hooted again. What did you say? "Hooo?" What do you mean leveled? "Hooo?" What have they done to my home?! "Hooo?!"

Aya's first instinct was to flinch away from Owlman as he came up to her, talons reaching and a series of agitated hoots escaping him. But she managed to stop herself as understanding passed through her. He wasn't angry – not at her, at least. He was distressed. Confused. Aya scrunched her eyebrows together and gave a small shake of her head.

"I'm sorry, I don't…" she trailed off. She had no idea what he was trying to tell her. Sure, this was a stressful situation, but Owlman hadn't been like this just moments ago. What had set him off? Aya went through the scene in her head again. Her eyes widened then as realization suddenly struck her.

He doesn't know about the Reformists. About Cedric.

That was right… Owlman had been unconscious when the base fell. He'd gone down after her – after Sebastian's attack. A giggle very nearly spilled out of Aya at the thought. Hah. The poor sap.

Aya brought the heel of her hand up to her forehead and massaged, gritting her teeth together and squeezing her eyes shut. She opened them again and looked up at Owlman with new understanding.

"It'll… it'll be ok, alright? Everything'll be ok." She had no right to promise that, but this really wasn't the time to drop potentially earth-shattering news on Owlman. "We'll sort everything out when we get off this ship, I promise. But right now we have to move." Aya hesitated a moment before slowly curling her fingers into a loose grip around the base of Owlman's hand and giving a slight tug towards the door. "Please." With that, she followed after Light.

Aiko cried, she remembered her parents her relatives all those that had died. She missed all the cats on the island that had died. Too many of them got old and passed on or got ran over. She felt good crying in Eli's arms. Nothing else felt better at the moment. She missed her home greatly but Eli made the world better. He was like a big brother she never had.

Aiko then glared again at the alien woman. There was going to be no rust between her and the woman.

Alto was aware that he'd lost the girl somewhere. It probably wasn't a problem, him being combat ready hadn't seemed to draw anything out to attack him so she was probably fine. Either way, there were some epic space battles going on. He was looking out a window now, and as he watched, explosions bloomed across the black canvas of space.

Suddenly, the ship rocked as if something was trying to come in from the outside. He couldn't see where it was coming from but it was probably going to be dangerous. He dashed around a corner to see a large group ahead.

"Verily! What a queer sight to meet my eyes!" He said, still in character, "Pray tell me, is there one among you who wishes to relay the situation to a complete stranger?"

((Alright, that was kinda bad but it's something))

Everything seemed to stop for Owlman. They'd done it. They'd really done it. Aya's reluctance to answer said so much more than any explanation ever could. He hung there, arms in the air, like a statue struggling to come to terms. Leveld. his home. His friends. His dreams. He could feel them in his mind, crumbling away under the pressure of the questions echoing in his head. What had happened? Was anyone still alive? Even if they got off the ship did he have anything to go back to?

Then she tugged his hand, and he followed as though he was on autopilot. He saw things, but they didn't register. He heard things, but did they matter? As he trumped into the room after Aya and Light the strange alien plants actually gave his some measure of peace. Nostalgia took over as the Owlman moved past them, looking to the left and right.

This was pretty homey, his owl brain thought blankly.

Eli had grabbed Aiko's and headed for the door. He didn't care about anything else, he had what he what came for. That poor girl shouldn't have to do deal with this shit, pure and simple.

It was all of two or three minutes before Eli had met the opposing side in this war. Eli didn't really know what was going on but he did know that he had a small child with him and they were pointing guns at the both of them. Both of those were big no no's in this world. Eli didn't think twice to burn them down. Every last one of them.

He did what could to protect Aiko from but if she didn't see it now then she would later. He didn't know which prospect as worse and right now it didn't matter.

It wasn't till after the screams stopped that something had happened. Hisbeues saw something that wasn't or shouldn't be there. Something in his eyes broke, like a screen tear. It happened once, then it happened again. There was only one person he knew that could do something this. That was Nightmare, or someone just as strong.

His whole world went dark. He knew then what was happening. They being sucked into his dream world.Nightmare's dream world, where he was effectively g-d. For a Short time it made him question what was going on the alien ship. Was it real? Or did he just imagined the whole thing as a part of nightmares playground?

He didn't care but that soon changed as he found himself and many others in knee deep in some sort of black fluid. It looked and felt like water but it was darker than even Obsidan. A tad bit of fear started well up in the pit of his stomach as he noticed the a dense fog that seemed to hang over the dark water.

"Well... Its gonna be one long as fuck day.... This blows so hard."
