Queen Bitch?
Her face creased into a frown, momentarily adding flaw to her perfection before she shook it away - lower lifeforms were generally annoying things but these ones, she chose to tolerate. Elijah Craigh was particularly vocal, as usually, but in his Southern drawl, it was difficult to make out what he was trying to convey to her. Whatever it was, it was mostly meaningless as he didn't try to attack her which would only result in his untimely death. Most notably, however, others chirped up and another even appeared in the doorway.
"I suppose I do need to explain things..." She murmured, watching an entire fleet of ships being torn to shreds by this new armada.
"I will detail everything to you later but as of now, I will only give you what you need to know." Her tone lacked the emotion and playfulness of earlier; instead, it adopted one of sheer power. She could kill every single last one of them and she knew.
"There's been a lot of rumours to the source of powers in beings such as yourself on your homeworld but to sum it up, all of you have a disease. It normally attacks the nervous system, eventually clawing its way to the brain where it does catastrophic damage. It usually kills within seconds or minutes, really. Well, it should have, but it gave you lot powers and humanity the superiority it has been lusting for. Skip forward a few years to now and you have the largest civil war this galaxy has ever seen and both sides want you as weapons. This ship is owned by one side. They're the other." Pointing towards the massive fleet bearing down on by them, she casually made her way to one of the consoles and tapped in some information before standing once more.
"As for you? I don't desire to use your powers because they're useless to me. What I do need is a decent disguise. I'll be executed immediately if they take over and unfortunately for you, I'm the only one who can speak most human dialects and knows how to make sure that every last one of you fools don't get chewed up and spat out." Smiling, she casually sashayed past Elijah towards Isaac at the door. Lingering, she allowed her smirk to light up before putting on her innocent face.
"And you wouldn't want to kill me anyways! Think of all the fun you would miss out on." At this point, she had forgotten about Elijah and instead focused on Isaac, giving him a casual wink before she turned, giving him an ample opportunity to stare.
"Anyhow, gentlemen and sweetcheeks, I don't believe you could kill me but you're welcome to try."Almost as soon as her speech had concluded, the entire ship suddenly rocked and the lights flickered momentarily - there was something trying to cut its way inside. Or a whole army, if they were being realistic.
Cindy Wade
Despite the screams echoing down the hall that spoke of untold horrors and the general pandemonium among the group, Cindy found a certain reassurance in the small girl she recognised as Camille, taking her hand. Breathing gently, she allowed her eyes to slip closed, burying herself deep in thoughts and trying to think about the situation. Like it or not, she was going to have to give birth soon and although the location wasn't the best, it would have to do.
Finally, however, she felt Camille clutching at her and although she wanted nothing more than to follow the young powerhouse that could undoubtedly protect her, she was more than hesitant. Calling on her wisdom, she turned to speak to Camille.
"Are you sure it's wise to engage whatever it is that was or what will be going for it? We don't look to be in the best condition as it is and going to try and find trouble doesn't sound like a wonderful plan to me." Afraid that the younger girl would turn on her, she quickly covered her statement to ease it's reception.
"But I will follow you anyways."
