@Earnest Evans It makes sense to me given his in depth understanding of magic and the fact most of the witches of the floor would probably want to keep a eye on him, wouldn't want to risk him going about and teaching people how to brew up their own Glamors and what not XD

Once Upon A Time

Name:
Paul Bunyan

Nickname:
Changed his surname Braunson to avoid awkwardness with Mundies.

Race:
Human Fable, Giant

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
There is only one change between Paul's Glamoured and unglamoured state, size. Paul stands 40 feet without his Glamour, jarring given that he now stands at a measly 6'6 in height. Paul is extremely broad and well built, towering over most other fables easily. His beard is a dense and wild thing, rough like the forests he tamed in his hay day of lumberjacking. The condition of his beard is shared with the rest of his body, black as coal and as dense as stone. Many a brush has met its end trying to tame his mane. His hands are covered in thick calluses from more than several centuries of hard labor and his skin is a little weather beaten fir the same reasons. As a general rule Paul tends to wear typical lumberjack garb. Plaid shirts, working boots, thick jeans, and a greenish-brown beanie fitted snug atop his head.

Job:
Owns a logging company however most of that money goes to maintaining his Glamour. Paul works odd jobs around town, anything from construction to bartending. His most stable job is as a cook at the I Am The Eggman Diner, he makes killer flapjacks.

Personality:
Paul is every bit the happy lumberjack from the stories. He is dedicated, determined, and always willing to give a helping hand. He values a good days work above most things, the only things on an equal plane being trustworthy friends and a hearty meal. Paul is also an avid supporter of the LGBTA community, the freedom to be who you is something he values greatly as well.

However he is not all sunshine and hearty laughs, accusing him of doing shoddy work is a quick way to get on his bad side and picking on people who can't defend themselves is another sore spot for him. However nothing riles him up more than reminding him that, for all his wealth he is barely holding on and he can't even help his oldest friend.

Fable:
Back in the Homelands, Paul was every unnamed woodsman in stories. Paul himself was a humble man with the power to cut down trees, no matter their make. Eventually he felt a pull of sorts and left for the west. It was there that Paul Bunyan the legend was created. With every tree he cut down he grew, and grew, and grew until he became the giant he is now. From felling entire forests single handedly to fighting the strange beasts of this lands Paul was known as a pillar of strength to the lumberjacks who told his stories. As with all things however, things change. When he found the blue bull Babe, Paul was faced with a challenge he had never seen before. You couldn't fix a hungry calf by telling a tree or fighting a giant monster, for the first time in his life Paul had to raise something instead of making it fall.

As the story went, Paul eventually got the hang of it and the two individuals became inseparable. And so the two went on many the adventure, the pair completing deed after deed until the exodus began. When Paul caught wind of what The Adversary was up to he and Babe hurried to the Homelands as fast as they could but by the time they arrived most of the damage was done. In the end Paul and Babe were among the last to leave the Homelands, his ability to sunder the troope of the Adversary was invaluable in helping many Fables escape. In the end however, Paul was only one man and he had to leave nursing a grew deal of wounds between him and Babe. In the aftermath Paul had to sell many of his holdings and Babe was eventually trapped in The Farm as he was left destitute. The injury on his pride was slow to heal, leaving him a bitter man for a long time before he came to accept his lot in life.

Abilities:
Paul is much, much stronger than any Mundie and in fact is stronger than all but the strongest Fables. In his unglamoured form his strength is even greater, able to cleave through just about anything with a swing of his mighty axe. In addition he is really hard to put down, his relative popularity with the Mundies being a large factor. Lastly when Paul is armed with his axe he has the ability to cut through wood like it was made of butter, even magically enhanced wood would eventually fall to its blows.

Other:
-Paul has a titanic appetite, able to out eat and out drink pretty much everyone.
-Every couple years he will drop by to the Valley of Slumbering Giants to visit Babe.
-His giant axe is kept in a secret place, hidden so that only he can get it when the need arises.
-While in no way a vegetarian, Paul can't bring himself to eat beef after raising Babe.
-Through his many years in America he has seen the rise of several figures of American legend like John Henry and Johnny Appleseed. Become good friends with the former.

Name: Guan Yu (He does not hide his name, merely laughing off the naming as a coincidence)

Nickname: Yunchang to those of his age or his sworn brothers

Race: Human Fable

Gender: Male

Appearance: In his Mundane form, Guan Yu is a tall, suit wearing oriental man with a truly glorious beard a foot and a half in length. His most prized possession is a jade green cane, which is more of an accessory as he does not need it to walk. When not disguising himself, however, he grows almost a foot in height and his clothes are replaced by those of a truly royal regalia, and his cane morphs into the Dragon Crescent Halberd that was his weapon in life.

Job: CEO of Celestial Life Insurance Pty Ltd

Personality: Guan Yu is a stalwart man who believes in justice and virtue. Above all else, he believes in loyalty to one's family and friends. Beyond his ideals, he is a calm and serious man, yet he possesses kindness and compassion and always has time for anyone who possesses grievances for him to hear. He truly aspires to his sworn brother's ideal of a world of benevolence, and brings it about by being benevolent himself.

Fable: Once upon a time in Chinese history there was a legendary figure named Guan Yu. Once the sworn brother of Liu Bei and Zhang Fei, he made his mark through his incorruptible honour and dedication to his brothers and their cause. His death at Fan Castle was only the beginning of his career, though, as the Chinese people petitioned their ancestors to allow Guan Yu to enter the Celestial Bureauocracy as the God of War. However, as a god he didn't necessarily bless those who go to battle but instead those who observed the code of brotherhood and righteousness. Eventually, as his popularity in the afterlife grew, he was elected by his descendants to the position of Celestial Emperor.

When the Fables returned to the Mundane world, Guan Yu was pleased to find that China had blossomed in his absence, though he did not visit upon fear of being recognized. His image was everywhere, and removing his beard would be a most heinous crime against his own sensibilities. So instead, he went to the Americas, to Fable-town, and decided to continue his role as a custodian of the afterlife by providing people with security for their families when they inevitably passed on. And so it was that CLI Pty Ltd was formed, and through Guan Yu's benevolence, many felt safe and secure for investing with him.

However, one must never forget that Guan Yu is a fierce warrior, and when his disguise is shed, he is a terrifying enemy to behold.

Abilities:
When transformed, Guan Yu possesses the strength of a hundred men. This is not an exaggeration. A single swipe of his halberd sends men flying, and he can withstand blows that would crush a regular mortal. His beard is also known to inspire awe in ordinary men, such is its beauty and glory.

Regardless of his transformed state, Guan Yu can make his jade cane/dragon halberd simply appear in his hand, though it is a power he guards from others. Thus, it is impossible to steal it from him.

He is also a capable statesman and manager, but not talented in the art of strategy. It is best to let others create plans while he executes them.

BIGBY WOLF

Nickname: The Big Bad Wolf
Race: Wolf, Human.
Job/Occupation: Sheriff, (Formerly Retired.)
Personality: Although formerly an actual wolf of giant proportions, Bigby now has the ability to take on human form, and to switch between his human and wolf forms at will. Even in human form he retains some of his canine traits, including an enhanced sense of smell. In fact, his smell is so acute that to avoid sensory overload in the middle of bustling New York City, he is forced to smoke constantly and heavily to deaden his senses. Even then, he must exert considerable willpower to mentally filter all of the millions of scents and smells. He is particularly attuned to the scent of Snow White, which he can never block out no matter how hard he tries. He is aware of her location every hour of every day, and can even recognize her mood from changes in her musk. n addition to this, he has inherited numerous powers from his father, the North Wind, including the ability to blow with the force of a hurricane. Bigby comes across as gruff and mean, but he is a firm believer in the law and due process.
Fable:
Once upon a time
Bigby was one of seven pups born to the North Wind and Winter. He was the runt of the litter and mockingly called 'Big Bad Wolf' by his brothers; Bigby for short. He hated his father for leaving his family. When Winter died, his brothers went to learn from the North Wind, but he stayed behind to try to protect Winter's body from scavengers. After he failed to protect his mother's body, Bigby vowed to kill something bigger every day. By the time he hunted the Three Little Pigs[3], he had discovered the gifts he inherited from the North Wind. The first humans he hunted and ate were Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. A local woodsman cut him open while Bigby was sleeping, pulled Red Riding Hood and her grandmother out of his stomach, sewed rocks into his belly, and threw Bigby into a river.[6] He survived by holding his breath for three weeks (another gift from the North Wind) and passing the stones until he could swim to the surface.[4] Following that incident, he swore to only hunt humans.[5]

As Bigby began eating humans, he grew unnaturally large. He devoured entire towns, defeated armies, and even killed a dragon. Eventually, he made his way towards the North Wind. He tried to eat his father seven times and each time he was sent flying for seven times seven days. After the seventh time, he vowed to forget his father, stop mourning his mother, and be his own wolf.[5]

When the Adversary's armies invaded, the Wolf discovered that the flesh of anyone serving in the Adversary's armies was tainted with a foul taste. Furious that the Adversary was stealing his usual prey without providing a suitable replacement, and refusing to join the Adversary's army himself (determined to be his own leader), Bigby dedicated himself to thwarting the Adversary's plans. He traveled from kingdom to kingdom.

He eventually came to a certain kingdom where he learned of a witch who had a portal to the mundane world. When the witch traveled through the portal herself, the Wolf followed her and marked the trail, so that he and only he would be able to find the portal again. In furtherance of his attempts to frustrate the Adversary, the Wolf took up the task of leading fables who wished to escape the Adversary through the portal. In order to ensure that no spies were shown through, he insisted on tasting the flesh of everyone to whom he showed the path, and determining whether it was tainted or not. In this way he first encountered Snow White and Rose Red, who had been captured by the Adversary.[1] On meeting Snow White for the first time, he noticed her pleasant scent (which is apparently, to a wolf, a sign of one's future mate), which he would never be able to forget.[3] When the Wolf had killed the group's goblin captors, most of the captives attempted to flee the Wolf in terror, except for Snow White and Rose Red, who could not move because of their chains. Snow White took up a sword to defend herself, which the Wolf found particularly amusing. Freeing them, he offered to take them through the portal if they would let him taste their flesh, which they did.[1]

Snow White took up a sword to defend herself, which the Wolf found particularly amusing. Freeing them, he offered to take them through the portal if they would let him taste their flesh, which they did.[1]

The New World
Over the next two centuries, the Wolf continued to battle the Adversary's forces, guiding more people through to the mundane world, until the Adversary's warlocks improved their ability to track him and he finally traveled through the portal himself. Deciding not to feed on the people he had helped deliver from the Adversary, he settled in Carpathia. The locals were superstitious, and blamed the Wolf's predations on a local Count, whom they claimed was a fell spirit risen from the dead. This meant that the Wolf was left alone. The Count enjoyed the notoriety and he and the Wolf visited occasionally - through the Count, the Wolf was able to get some news of the wider world.

Eventually, the Wolf was tracked down by Snow White and Feathertop. Snow White offered to let the Wolf join one of their two new Fabletown communities, but revealed that he was not welcome in the wilderness community and that the other, based in New Amsterdam, would require that he pass as a human. She revealed that she had purchased a certain knife, with an enchantment that would let men walk as wolves or, as the original owner had claimed, vice versa. Due in part to the Wolf's curiosity regarding Snow White's scent (which he still could not forget), he agreed to the terms and used the knife to take on human form. He traveled with Snow and Feathertop across the sea to America.[1] He subsequently took the name Bigby and became Fabletown's sheriff.

Shortly after dealing with Tommy Sharp, Bigby and Snow White were enchanted by one of Bluebeard's artifacts. They went camping in Washington for several days under the spell.[7] When they were back to normal, they quickly found that Goldilocks was sent by Bluebeard to kill them.[8] Bigby was able to defeat her. Upon returning to Fabletown, Bigby had to admit that he had slept with Snow White and she was pregnant.[9]

Away From Home
When Bigby's and Snow White's children were born, it was discovered they inherited their father's talents. As such, they were confined to The Farm until they proved they can control their powers, a place that Bigby was forbidden to go. He retreated into the wilderness of Alaska. One of Bigby's sons, a wind named Ghost, was able to come with him. While there, he lived with a mundy woman named Sarah Tanaraq. Upon hearing that Prince Charming had a way he could live with his family from Mowgli, he returned to Fabletown.[10]

Abilities: Great Breather, Strong, Can Sense things With Nose.
Other: None.

@Pathfinder Everything looks good, but remember one thing about a Glamor they are expensive, especially the more complex ones like Paul has. So if you ever want Paul to go all "GIANT" mode keep in mind it is basically like crashing a two million dollar car XD Not the best idea. Anywho he is approved :)

@Zobozun Hmm he seems like a very interesting character, but I am curious about what/who is the Agency exactly. I get that Mr. Black represents the mass paranoia people have towards those in charge that exists in society, but the Agency would require a massive or elite organization that, as interesting it would be to see, I don't think would have survived having been ransacked by the Adversary's forces.

@Boomrocker My only concern is having an actual god of war here, wouldn't that seem a tad OP? Though by your abilities he seems acceptable... Promise me you won't do any OP actions, like SMITE smiting you will be accepted alright? Oh and rule six! XD

@TimeToRP Okay a few things. First would be a little thing which is like Path said you copy and pasted the story twice in your CS, no big deal but a bit sloppy. Second would be that the last few paragraphs of your CS haven't happened yet in the story so far, Bigby and Snow have yet to be linked romantically so there would be no kids. Lastly and sadly Bigby has already been reserved by someone in the Interest Check, Dirty Dan I believe, but since they have yet to post in the actual RP they might or might not still be interested. So if they still haven't posted here in the next day you may have the character okay :)

She enjoys visiting the Farm because it reminds her of that magical world she had to leave behind.

Fable: Amalia's story is a simple one of a mother loving her daughter and hating her stepdaughter Amalia. One day her mother took both children to the well and set them a task. It was a simple one they were both given thread to spin and who's ever thread broke first would be pushed in the well. Off corse Amalia was given thread that was of such poor quality it was in possible to spin so she was pushed in.

Instead of falling to her death she instead found a wonderful land of magic at the bottom. She came across some vines that were in her way that asked Amalia not to hurt them. So she took her time by carefully walking between the gaps in the vines and gently moving some out of the way before putting them back. Next she came across an oven and she was hungry. The oven told her she could eat what she liked but asked Amalia not to hurt it. She ate the bread and thanked the oven for a lovely meal and shut its door. Next she came across a cow and Amalia was very thirsty so she asked the cow for some milk and it responded of corse she could all it asked was not to be hurt. She drank the milk until only drop was left and the cow asked her to rub the last bit on her hooves and put the bucket back. She did as she was asked thanking the cow before leaving.

When a year had passed the old lady told her to go to the attic and pick out a casket from upstairs. Amalia considered many nice ones but was directed to a plain black one by the old woman's cats.

When she returned home her stepmother was shocked and took the casket from her opening to find it full of treasure. The stepmother wanted more so she pushed her own daughter down the well. Unlike Amalia she was mean, rude and careless so none of the animals helped her with the tasks nor did they tell her the right casket to choose. The stepdaughter came home with her ruby red casket which when opened burned her stepmother and stepsister to death. This is were the original tale. Seeing them die was a very happy time for Amalia as she would never have to put up with them again. That's when the fire entered her body turning her eyes red lighting up with her new found powers. She can't believe that the old woman had kept her promise to free her from her family when she had told her the horrible things they had done to her. Taking her casket from her mothers room she left the house to burn heading back down the well.

Amalia ended up traveling for a long time until she had to flee with the rest of the fables to the Mundy world. She used the treasure in her casket to buy a place for her to live and a small bakery outside of Fable Town. She put the rest of the treasure away for a rainy day.

Abilities: Amalia can control fire and can't be hurt by it.
