@Saarebas For one, hasn't The Adversary only attacked the European and maybe Arab Homelands?

Furthermore, The Agency is The Man. You know, the embodiment of big government? It's not so much a Fable in and of itself as it is a general idea, a concept. Even if you wiped it out, it would just come back.

Finally, there's like an entire three-page spread at one point dedicated to how jolly old Geppetto and his fancy wooden toys would all get completely destroyed the second he tries to directly mess with the mundies or any sort of government/organized military.

@Zobozun Fair enough of the first point, though it is stated that the Adversary's empire rules over thousands of worlds that just so happen to include the European ones, but I am getting off topic.

Second by the way you are describing it now it sounds like you are less interested in playing a character and more interested in playing as a whole organization. Though the concept is interesting it seems like it would give your character a bit too much power seeing as he has access to a seemingly endless amount of resources ranging from other "agents" and large sums of money.

As for the last part, yes the Adversary's forces are no match for the power of a modern government military and tactical training, seeing as his forces were literally trained for combat and armed with weaponry centuries out of date. But that begs the question if the Agency is apparently on par of a modern military both tactically and weapon wise why wouldn't they simply deal with the Adversary's forces?

I am simply worried about the potential of power playing, I have had many RPs end do to it.

The Agency is too busy fighting against The Agency to devote resources towards Geppetto. Nobody gives a shit about Geppetto. Geppetto is a non-issue. If anyone is of concern to The Agency it's the Literals, who can't be effectively fought against by anyone other than maybe Jack anyways.

Second, no, the way I am describing it is to explain that this would be a non-issue. You can't effectively wipe out such a basic idea in the public consciousness. Sure, you can wipe out individual stories, like the Men in Black, the Illuminati, the Freemasons, Area 51. That's doable. Wiping out something as basic as The Agency, however, isn't feasible without wiping out the very concept of organized government and plunging the world into anarchy.

His monthly salary is less than the average middle-manager makes. Mr. Black has two other agents, Mr. Black and Mr. Black, that he can call in. He also owns a nice car. That's... pretty much it. Compared to, you know, "Being Bigby" and all the incredibly powergamey stuff that entails I'm not seeing how it's that big of a deal.

@Zobozun That is the thing you see. To use your example of Bigby, yes he is a strong character but he is just one character, once he is killed that is basically the end of it. While the Agency you are describing is a whole concept so powerful that there is no real way to defeat it little less being a literal that has the power to manipulate the universe around them. It is not Mr. Black himself I am worried about power gamming, but rather this Agency. There is no real way to control their actions now is there? But I am willing to place trust in a fellow roleplayer as long as they promise to fallow the rules. So I will accept Mr. Black, but you will have to read rule six first before I can. Also for the sake of curiosity on my part why would Mr. Black be in Fabletown, he doesn't seem to have fallen on hard times like the other Fables have.

Mr. Black was sent by The Agency, of course. The Agency needs to make sure these other Fables aren't secretly being manipulated in an insidious plot by The Agency to take down The Agency using The Agency as a smokescreen.
He has other tasks, though. For one, he needs to find Mr. Black, who is suspected to be working with Mr. Black as a quintuple agent for The Agency against The Agency. Third would be answering the question: Who is Mr. Black?

Also I followed rule 6 when I made the sheet. ctrl+f if you don't believe me.

@Zobozun Hmm would the other Fables be aware of his presence there and more so would they want him there? For all they know he could be an agent for the Adversary. Also you just broke my brain with that sentence XD Also sorry, I remember reading that but it slipped my mind just then.

@TimeToRP No worries dude, I am giving the others from the interest check a day or two to come here and post characters anyway. :)

I'm pretty sure there's not a single Fable that actually likes any of the other Fables. Also as far as I'm aware Adversary agents are a lot more, you know, subtle? Because a guy in a dark suit and sunglasses who talks into an earpiece in public and only ever speaks in monotone is not exactly what I'd call subtle.

Then again this is NYC so subtle is a relative value I guess.

@Zobozun So they would know of him and this Agency? He isn't just going to be just some random person sleuthing about Fabletown?

@Boomrocker My only concern is having an actual god of war here, wouldn't that seem a tad OP? Though by your abilities he seems acceptable... Promise me you won't do any OP actions, like SMITE smiting you will be accepted alright? Oh and rule six! XD

I will update the sheet with rule six when I am not on a mobile.

Chinese "gods" are in a sense simply people in the afterlife who are elected to do a job. It's a bureaucracy. He's not a god who causes and relishes in war. He's a man behind a desk who does all the war-related paperwork. Being Celestial Emperor is essentially being a president or a CEO, not an all-powerful entity. No smiting will occur because no smiting can occur.

His strength of one hundred men is an interpretation of his warrior skill when he was alive as told in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Well they know, yeah. People likely don't understand Mr. Black, but they probably have some vague idea as to the nature of Mr. Black's existence, given that he lives there. About as much as the average Fable would know about anyone else in Fabletown, which from what I recall isn't all that much unless you're someone like Snow or Flycatcher.

@Boomrocker Okay that sounds a lot less 'godly' then I thought XD Once you do the edit you are good to go :)

@Zobozun So he has signed the Fabletown compact and everything right, he is a official member of the community? I just want to make sure he isn't a free agent so to speak XD

He helps pigs, and chops down trees. And he has a current famous product, ZOOM!

Personality
He is more of a bit.... friendly unless you are using him manipulating, or being a mean friend.
Fable
He was born as a rich, wealthy boy and treated mean by the older boys and thrown around and beaten...... It started out in the cold winter December 28 with his mom and dad, (which we're secretly bats) that we're a struggling family that created a product that went famous in the gelid. Soon this afforded them to go to Fable Town, they wanted to bring the others, which was his uncle, aunt and more. They couldn't and they did the best what was could for him, sending him to Fable Town. His parents we're left at the cold gelid area, and they died there. He was sad and until 5 years of being in Fable Town. His old Grandpa told him that they we're Bats. Just like him when he discovered his abilities. @Phloem Yes we are :) though I may be closing it soon

@TimeToRP I am open to allowing original Fables in, that is what I am assuming he is because I can't really remember any bat fairytales. But his story doesn't make much sense to me. First he was born to a rich family with mean siblings then somehow ends up poor fallowed by him saving up money to go to Fabletown, which is the equivalent of a refuge camp basically, all of which eventually leads to him finding out he is actually a bat? It doesn't seem to click well. Don't get me wrong the character does has potential but he needs work. If you need help ironing out some of the details feel free to PM me about it. EDIT: Also since the person who expressed interest in playing Bigby has yet to post here in the OOC I am going to give them until this afternoon to declare they are still interested before putting Bigby back up for grabs.

Also everyone my Co-GM position is open at the moment and if anyone is interested in it feel free to ask for it.
