Rebekah Green

"It's good to meet you, Professor" Rebekah replied. "I'm Rebekah Green and I'm happy to help how I can, but If I may ask, do you have any of these stones already? If you do, I can increase them manyfold. That's my power, you see: I can make things bigger or smaller, so if you give me one quartz crystal, I can make it twice as big, you chop it in half, and you've got two. Repeat that process, and you've got four, eight, sixteen times what you started with."

Tarquin was happy, very happy none of his roommates had an alarm clock and it seemed like both of them already left so he could enjoy the best part of each morning, silence. It was the perfect time to just relax and put everything that happened yesterday straight, the tram the four students... four the amount of days let until his birthday, Tarquin tried to erase the feeling that making more then one friend before that date will be a rather difficult task and that was when he noticed the notes and the coffee.

Kyle and Lukas, Tarquin took a mental note of the names before deciding to write a note of his own.

I appreciate the welcoming wasn't expecting it at all, with luck we might even know each other earlier than expected.
-Tarquin

The handwriting was rather decent and with that Tarquin sat down sipping the coffee, it wasn't uncommon for him drink such a beverage and it was still hot so no reason to not enjoy it.

And with that he took a shower, got dressed, made sure his laptop and slightly over the top amount of books (to the point of some books being in small piles near his bed) were organized and was about to leave when he remembered something.

"Ok let's see..." Tarquin said while thinking about the matter at hand."Summon: Sun Tzu, Archimedes and Julius Caesar." he immediately started hearing the summoned "Hello." said Sun Tzu. "Hi." said Archimedes shortly after. "Hi. Hm... where are we exactly?" asked Julius. "Herculean Academy, we fill you in on the way to class. I start with Biology today." was Tarquin's answer as the boy left the room and started heading towards the Biology class.

Joel knew his adopted brother very well. So he was easily able to guess where he would be, and what he would be doing. So after grabbing a quick and balanced bite to eat, the two brothers made their way to the first class of the day "Really David? I keep telling you that you need to eat more varied meals. It's not healthy to just eat meat for every meal" Joel sighed. "Honestly, I can't leave you unsupervised can I?"

David on the other hand had his head down "but meat is so good..." was his responses. Using the shadows he was in, he made himself invisible. Before Joel could tell him to turn back, a student passed them in the hall, almost bumping into David. When they were out of sight, David returned to normal. "Can we please stop talking about this morning?" He requested

Joel sighed again at his brother's actions "fine, fine, we'll change the topic. So, how are your new roommates?" Joel asked. When David remained silent, he immediately knew the answer "David...please tell me you didn't." Once again, David was quite. "David...not everyone wants to kill you. In fact, I'm pretty sure no one wants to kill you. So please stop acting like someone's going to kill you in your sleep"

David's response was brief "Grandpa"

Joel facepalmed "he doesn't count. First off, he wasn't trying to kill you specifically, he was just having another PTSD induced flashback. Second, he had a rubber spatula. Remember; he's the reason why the house is been childproofed." It was then that they arrived at biology class

Kyle was quietly enjoying his sketching. It had become a rather interesting task as of late, his skill hadn’t dropped but he had to focus more or whatever he was drawing would come out wrong. He found it fun to work with the pseudo-handicap, as he could also allow himself to slip here or there to create some truly interesting pieces.

As such He was completely unaware of the tendril stalking up to him, all of his attention on the portrait he was sketching.

Whack

“Gah, Sonova’“

Quickly he turned around intent on finding who had struck at him. Grated it wasn’t that painful of a blow but still who the hell goes around hitting people like that? Only to be greeted with the same empty classroom as before.

'The hell?' he wondered for a moment or two as he rubbed the back of his head where he had been hit 'Okay, not letting that happen again'

The youth had gotten the feeling someone was watching him earlier, now he just had to find who that was and give them a slap of his own, possibly, depends on why they decided to smack him in the first place, as it could have been an accident.

Narrowing his eyes he stood up, placing his pad and pencil on the desk as he did, and began to walk around the class room. He may be new to having powers but that didn’t mean he was stupid about them, someone or something stuck out at him, he could hazard a few guesses as to how someone could do that without being seen, and the first ones that came to mind required them to be in hiding nearby. So he started to work his way around the room looking under and around everything.

As he started his search, a few extra eyes had appeared across his head, all of them covered by his hair, giving him a decent field of view around himself. He wasn't going to be caught by surprise if they tried it again. Unless they struck him with an invisible force, or they themselves were invisible. A passing thought about ghosts came and went. HE was still new to the superhero lifestyle, he didn't know if ghost were a thing or not.

It was only a matter of time until he stumbled upon Meredith and her hiding place.

"Good morning to you sleeping beauty. I hope you're hungry cause I brought you breakfast."

Alexis heard Mishka coming a mile away. Well, maybe not a mile, but she did hear her. Her hearing was good. When Mishka came into the room, she didn't even look up from her laptop, on which she was currently browsing some forum message board. One of her less...sketchy past times on the internet. Usually she was either gaming, or trying out her hacking skills.

"No, not really." She replied, not looking up, or tearing her attention away from the computer. "Thanks for the rude awakening too, jackass. Appreciate it. No really." She shot Mishka a brief glare, before returning to her laptop. "I can take care of myself too, so you wasted your time bringing that."

It was more than a little obvious, she wanted nothing to do with Mishka and wanted her to just leave her alone, go away, and probably crawl somewhere and die. Well, maybe not that extreme. But she did want Mishka gone.

~Meredith Hillard~

Hahahaahah! She got him good! That was hilarious! It was all she could do to restrain herself from laughing and giving herself away. He seemed pretty aware though, like...she was pretty sure he sprouted a few extra eyes!..curious. She was fairly sure he was not one of her kind...so some sort of Bio-manipulation then? Similar to her abilities, but not? Hmm...but how to go about this next! She needed this to be elaborate and good! First...distract him! But how how how without being seen...hrm...She wasn't getting out of her little hiding spot so easily. Switch places with the anatomical dummy?...no...she would be seen...not to mention she didn't fancy taking off her clothes...She'd have to do that some other time. Like...tomorrow!

It seemed like she was backed into a wall here. So how how how how....She needed to distract him somehow...

Tripping him could work.

yes, that was a wonderful idea! After he was tripped, she could swiftly move to her secondary hiding spot!

A thin, fleshy tendril snaked a complicated path across the ground again, making sure to try and stay out of his range of vision. Hiding behind desks, displays, and other things in the room. By the time it reached the kid, it had made quite the complicated path across the floor.

Just as he got a few paces from the back of the room where she was hiding, the tendril wrapped itself around his leg, giving it a sharp tug, pulling his feet out right from under him - or at least, that was the intended effect.

Geoffrey Burr

7:55 am

Hmmm… It would appear that Meredith is scheming… He could smell her schemes in motion, or he just thought that’s what she’d be doing. I should check, in the event that she’s trying to eat one of the first years… Geoff lowered himself, so he’d get through the door, exited the classroom and made his way across the hallway. The hall was bustling with students now, he didn’t see any that were heading into his room. If I don’t have any students… I could just read… or have some fun, perhaps sit in on Meredith’s class and make sure she doesn’t eat anyone… either way…

He’d switched books again, to El Alquimista, the Spanish version of The Alchemist. Entering Ms. Hillard’s class, he took note of the boy who didn’t notice the tendril trailing behind him, also… the tendrils. He could tell where Meredith was but didn’t want to ruin her fun… so long as she didn’t hurt the boy. Though, he was relatively certain that she wouldn’t endanger his life. He manipulated the air, until he hit a soft, fleshy, patch in the classroom - he’d found out where Hillard was.

Burr decided that if anyone went to his room, they'd either come this way to see where he was, or he'd jsut check in every few minutes. The page turned in his book. Burr noticed someone… no, two students enter the room behind him. He quickly drifted to the back of the room and decided to watch what happened. Another page turned in the book.

.:Kyle Anderson:.

‘Someone is laughing at me, I just know it’ Kyle complained silently as he opened another one of the cupboards to make sure someone wasn’t hiding in it. He had cleared most of the room by this point, thought he hadn’t found anyone or anything to point him in the right direction.

With a sigh he closed the cupboard, super powered hide and seek wasn’t the easiest thing to do, especially when he didn’t know what the hider could do. He hadn’t seen any one moving around either, helped having eyes in the back of his head. Turning he started walking towards the back of the class room, there was a bunch of packed up supplies as well as a few mannequins that he could see ‘Not a lot of space to hide but who knows…’

He was only a few steps from being able to spot Meredith, when the door to the class opened. Stopping Kyle turned to look at who was opening the door. The turn came at a bad time however, for as he turned there was a sharp tug on his leg. This caused his to go spinning to the ground, as he was turning one way when he was jerked the other way rather forcefully, quite unexpectedly and completely uncontrollably.

“Oww” the now floored youth said after a moment. Looking back at the door he noticed two students had walked in, most likely just in time to see him get tripped in quite the spectacular fashion. He also noticed an older person just floating near the back of room, figuring they all just showed up in time, just in time to witness his embarrassment he let out another sigh louder this time. “I don’t suppose you know who just tripped me do you?“ He asked still on the floor as at least here who ever it was could sneak up behind him when he was down here.

It wasn't all bad however as he was falling his extra eyes were able to notice the tendril that was wrapped around his leg and had most likely caused his fall. so as he laid on the ground a few more small eyes blinked open on his leg that the tendril had snagged and watched the offending appendage closely, he may have been grounded but he wanted to know who had been messing with him, though he was getting the feeling that there wouldn’t be much that he could do to get back at them at this point.

Al Reyes

Al couldn't help but stifle a little laugh at the sight of his roommate. Not often you get to see something that looks like it came straight out of a cartoon. The boy got up to his feet and stretched out once more before attempting to pat his bed head down, suddenly feeling a bit self-conscious about his messy hair around someone he'd just met. That lasted a whole two seconds before deciding he can just deal with it.

Then Zac noticed he was up and at 'em already. He was apologizing for the alarm, but Al wasn't really a grudge dealer. Things happen, y'know? "Nah, don't worry about it..." Al responded, stifling a yawn after as he was still a bit sleepy. "If it weren't for that, I'd probably be sleeping in." And then he mentioned pancakes. Come to think of it, he did look like he was whipping something up... "Pancakes?" he asked, "Aw, dude, I'd love some. Thanks. Call me Al. It's short for Albert."

Blake Reyes

After spending a good deal of time sorting out his own wardrobe and personal belongings, Blake came to the conclusion that his roomies probably weren't getting up anytime soon. He didn't want them all to get off on the wrong foot by rudely waking them up, who knows how much of a morning person they were? But if he let them just sleep through the morning, it was a surefire way to get on their bad side he figured.

He didn't own an alarm clock, though... And he couldn't just set an alarm on his phone and leave it behind. Who knows what sort of emergencies could prompt the use of it? That left... His watch's pitiful, teeny tiny alarm. Honestly, that watch's alarm barely even fazes him when he needs it to, so its reliability was sketchy. But, it was looking more and more like the best third option he had between acting rude and acting thoughtfully.

So on that note, Blake simply set the watch to go off at 7 AM and left it on his bed. He pulled a sticky notepad out to leave a little note next to it as well. "Don't know when you two get up. Don't own an alarm clock either, so this is the best I can do. Sorry. Hope we can get along, though. -Blake"

That oughta get his intentions across. With that bit of his conscience clear, Blake set out to grab some breakfast at the cafeteria before moving out for his first class of the day. Which was... Biology! Yeah! Biology! The... The human body! Yeah... Yeah he couldn't get pumped for that if he tried. It sounded awfully boring, really. The classes after that, though... Those seemed a a lot cooler than boring old Biology.

"Al," Zac says, nodding as if committing the name to memory. Grinning, he then says, "Awesome. I got a roommate with an easy name to remember." A few moments later, Zac grabs one of the paper plates he had set aside and scoops the finished pancake onto it with the spatula. Handing it, along with a plastic fork and knife, to Al (and, in the process, revealing the anime cooking apron he wore), he says, "Sorry I don't have any syrup or butter. No mini-fridge. I could only bring the hotplate. I couldn't even bring my laptop with me."

Turning around, he begins to prepare another pancake. As he adds in some chocolate chips and peanut butter, he asks, "So, since you wouldn't be here otherwise, I assume you have a superpower of some sort." As he holds up his hand, it turns black as he demonstrates his power.

"According to my old chemistry teacher, I can alter the carbon in my skin to use it as armor." Grinning, he looks over his shoulder and says, "Useful for when I'm cooking with knives or fire. I've also got super strength." Turning around, he asks, "How about you?"

Just realized I said 'spoon' instead of 'knife' >.>

Al just gave Zac a thumbs up in response. Hey, he was getting off in the right foot with this guy and it only took, what, two, three minutes? Tops. He graciously accepted the pancake, grinned at Zac's apron, and sat down to eat. He didn't mind the lack of butter or syrup, though it definitely would have been better if they had some. "It's cool dude. It's nice enough of you to bother making pancakes to begin with." He grinned while he pondered what exactly the academy didn't want them bringing again.

Cut. Scoop. Chew. Swallow.

"Dang, no computer? What weren't we allowed to bring again?" Al asked. He was a bit concerned for the longevity of his phone and DS. Both were intended to be his primary forms of escape, and if a computer wasn't allowed, did that mean internet was off limits? Quite the horrifying thought.

On the subject of superpowers, he was caught a bit off guard. He wasnt used to discussing powers, what with the whole "dude you're weird thing" and all... That didn't mean he shouldn't be courteous here, though. Carbon... Carbon manipulation then? "That's how carbon works?" He asked, "Sounds sweet, dude. As for me..."

Al put his spoon down so that he could free up his hand to demonstrate. "Check out the floor," he told him. Zac would be able to see the shadows that the two were casting had grown noticeably darker and we're now wiggling about in a weird dancing move. "I can manipulate shadows. Make 'em darker, change their shape, I can even pull 'em out and mash them up like paper." He grinned as he finished his explanation, partially because he was free to discuss his powers and partially because he found that comparison to be pretty amusing.

Zac grins and chuckles as he watches their shadows. "That's pretty awesome, man," he says before turning back to the pancake he was making. When it was finished, his hand turns black once more as he picks up the pancake and turns back to Al. Taking a bite out of the pancake in his hand, he leans back against his dresser and says, "Don't get me wrong, though. I only didn't bring my laptop because I didn't have enough room for it and the hotplate. Since I love cooking more than surfing the Internet, I chose the hotplate. Besides, I'm more of a reader, anyway. And I have my phone for when I absolutely need it."

Chuckling, he then says, "And as for how carbon works, look at diamonds. They spend millions of years as coal until heat and pressure turn them into diamonds." Finishing his pancake, he waves his black hand with a grin and says, "Just consider this speeding up the process."

-Mishka Demidov-

((A little notice: You get the drill by now, she's heavy thus beds and chairs and all that will start creaking and bending under the weight, not gonna write it anymore in detail cause that's annoying to read everytime))

Apparently someone was in a grumpy mood this morning. What, she didnt like getting up at a normal time? Mishka sat down on her bed and placed her box of food next to her. She smiled at Alexis. "Hey, it's the first day of school. It wouldnt reflect well on you if you were already late on your first lesson." She said to Alexis.

Mishka opened her box and grabbed some of the food which she then stuffed in her mouth in a... Not really tastefull manner. "Besides..." She said with her mouth full. "If you had just gone to bed at a reasonable time you wouldnt have had any problems with waking up at a normal time. I could have also awoken you when I got up, would you have preffered that? At 5:30?" She smirked at Alexis.

"Or were you planning on skipping your first school day? If you're not planning on going to any of the classes then why did you even bother coming here if you dont mind me asking." Mishka knew she was pushing it abit with that question. It was obvious that Alexis didnt really have any warm feelings for Mishka at this point but Mishka was not going to give up just yet. They were going to share a room with eachother for a year after all. It's best to not hate eachother.

Once she had emptied her mouth she spoke again. "And I'm not saying you cant take care of yourself. I just thought it would be nice to bring you some breakfast. And besides..." Mishka grabbed another piece of food as she got up and walked over to Alexis. "You looked like you needed some proper food for once because, well look at you." Mishka gestured at Alexis. "You're so scrawny that if you didnt have any superpowers even a child would be able to bring you to the ground."

After she said that she bit a piece off of the slice of meat she had in her hand and started chewing loudly, just looking down at Alexis behind her laptop.

Rebekah Green

"They'll be exactly the same, I promise you" Rebekah assured him. "Just bigger."

When the storage cupboard opened, Rebekah's eyes opened as wide as a kahawai's. its shelves were scattered with rubies and diamonds, not to mention a small fortune in other precious stones. A small fortune she was about to make very large.

"Incredible" she breathed, taking a ruby in hand. It began to swell, finally coming to rest at the size of a large apple. What do you use these for?

Al heaved a sigh of relief after hearing his lack of computer was a matter of choice and not ruling. He liked reading too, but in the long game of alleviating boredom, he'd choose the internet any day. "Man, you almost scared me there," he admitted, "Last thing I wanna do is get the internet taken away. I'm not sure how long all my stuff would last without it." He chuckled a little. Al was obviously joking, but he did wonder if he'd have to, god forbid, be active should he run out of stuff.

He watched Zac's demonstrations of practical carbon applications with wonder in his eyes. "Whooooa. Dude, that is so cool," he commented with a grin.

♫A ring ding ding ding d-ding baa aramba baa baa barooumba♫

Graham stirred slightly. He rolled onto his side, pulling whatever was within reach as close to his head as possible. He was quite content with just basking in the darkness, enjoying the sweet numbness that came with sleep, and whateve the fu-

♫Wh-Wha-Whats going on-on ♫

No…

Oh GOD no…

PLEASE…

♫Ding ding♫

Graham shot an arm out, piercing the darkness. A dull light lay on the other side. A harbinger of the endtimes. An enemy to all things good and righteous in the world. It must die. It must be cast into the flames of oblivion before it can breed. IT MUST FEEL THE RIGHTEOUS FURY OF THE GODS THEMSELVES! BEGONE FOUL-

THUD.

Graham opened both eyes and found himself mostly sprawled out on the floor. A leg was still caught up on the bed and he was entirely wrapped up in some sort of comfortable net. Or blanket. Tomato, tomahto.

♫Lets do the crazy froogg♫

The lad frantically flailed his arms, searching for the audio offender. All he wanted was to deliver upon it the sweet embrace of silent death. Why resist, oh dear cell phone? Why-

He spotted it, finally. Without hesitation, he scooped it up, flipped it about, and silenced the musical blasphemy before it could harm him further. Then a sigh of relief left him. Today he had bested the audiobeast, but he was no fool. One day, and that day might be sooner than he’d expect, the Frog would win and he would be no more.

Graham yawned then got to his feet. He rolled his eyes and walked off to his lovely wardrobe. Or, y’know, smallish black bag containing the few identical outfits that would comprise the entirety of Graham’s look for the next few years. Sure, he might do something like change a color here or there, or find a new band’s shirt to wear, but the fact of the matter was that he was lazy. Oh well. Shoot ‘em. He reached in and pulled out whatever he touched first. So two pair of jeans, a Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt, and a single sock. He frowned, tossed one pair of pants aside, and rummaged back through the bag for another sock and a pair of skivvies. Gotta be fresh and all that jazz.

With all of that bullshizzle settled, Graham grabbed a toothbrush, some toothpaste, a towel, and shuffled off to take a shower. Because, apparently, people are offended by the natural manly musk of a man. Well, whatever. Manly male musk’s too good for them anyway.

Shortly later, the deed was done. Graham left the shower mourning the death of his morning musk. He returned to his room and deposited his dirty clothes carefully wherever the hell they landed on the floor. They were Future Graham’s problem. Present Graham needed to grab his glasses, grab some grub, and get to…

Fuck. Way to drop the ball, Past Graham. Inconsiderate little…

Alright, whatever. So it was his first day and he had no idea where to go. No biggie. He would just…

FUCK.

Graham made a mental note to seek out the nearest time traveler and hitch a ride back to yesterday so he could deliver a large, spicy, 100% American-made bowl of Kentucky-fried whoopass to his lazy self. Seriously, he had two jobs: not die, and find out tomorrow’s schedule.

UGH.

Graham crossed over to the stand by his bed and picked up the glasses. He slapped them on and took a look around. All-in-all, he didn’t end up with a bad room. Not that it was exactly the room he was expecting, though. So apparently his neighbors didn’t take kindly to his err...fits of excitement and optimism. So he maybe claimed ownership of the school whilst shouting profanity to the heavens. So he accidently nearly fell while trying to take a leak...out the window...despite being next door to a bathroom...Still, did all that really warrant his being placed in another room all by his lonesome?

Probably. Shit.

Oh well. Scorpios and Little Bubby would just have to live on without him. Maybe this was for the best. Flying solo meant tons of perks. Like pants! Completely optional. That’s a plus. And who was there to keep him from delving deep into the internet at odd hours of the night? Absolutely nobody. And pantless expeditions into the internet at night?

Graham coughed, finding reality once more. He grabbed his backpack, a pen, and some good luck before heading out the door. To…uhm...well, maybe an upperclassman would take pity on a poor lost soul and point him in the general dir- Nah. Not happening. If the roles were switched, he’d just as likely tell the runt something along the lines of, “Ye dare to address moi, shitscum? Know thy place and kneel before thy GODS.” Or something.

“Dear God, I’m a drama queen.” he muttered.

In any case, he had settled on a destination. Cafeteria. Food would energize, revitalize, and just be fucking delicious. The three major nutrients required for a growing bo-

OH HA HA. Hilarious. Jeez, he couldn’t go twenty minutes without even himself making short jokes. Helluva way to start a day, Graham.

But it was a start.

A brand new start of a brand new day.

The first true day at Herculean Academy.

Where the next generation of superheroes are raised…

Zac chuckles and says, "Ah, it's nothing, really. Just chemistry, even though I don't really understand any of that stuff. Granted, it's saved my life once or twice, but I still think it'd be pretty sweet to control something like shadows." Glancing at his clock, he sighs and says, "As much as I hate to cut this short, I should let you get ready. Class is gonna start in a little while."

Grinning, he holds his hand out to Al and says, "You know, I think we're gonna get along pretty well. You seem pretty cool."

Emily

"Uhm...can we...uh...help you?"

This was not how things should have went.

Going through the process in her head, Emily looked towards the ceiling, absently tapping her chin with her index finger as she lowered the book to the side. First she came into their room, then she cocked her head to the side and then she requested a hairdryer. Was there any flaws in that? Definitely not! After all, her recent studies of humans concluded that if you abandoned your clothing, most were willing to give you things. Unless these two weren't humans? It would explain everything plus it would give some decent evidence for her hypothesis that aliens had been stealing her panties recently. Being perfectly honest, these two looked like the ultimate panty-thieving, otherworldly beings. If Ancient Aliens had taught her anything, it was that aliens were pretty much responsible for most things so stealing a few pairs of panties wouldn't be out of their grasp. It would also mean that Emily was in grave danger.

"Hmm..."

Inwardly, Emily had already switched to DEFCON 2; she had only been awake thirty minutes and already she had ran into a giraffe-crazed furry who wanted to murder her and panty-stealing aliens who probably also wanted to ravage her young body so that they could make a new superhuman. After all, she was God. Tapping her lip idly, she tried to think of a way out of there while being able to simultaneously get a hairdryer. The aliens had yet to make their move but they were probably just observing her. Silently, she thanked Giorgio A. Tsoukalos that she had knowledge on these creatures.

There was only one way forward - she would find out where the aliens had hidden their hairdryer then she would steal it. Turning, she focused her unrelenting gaze on the bed-ridden girl who looked an awful lot like her. Frowning, she approached her on tentative feet before nonchalantly straddling her lap. Once she had placed her soaked book down beside her, she raised both of her hands to the blonde's face as she locked her red eyes with the other girl's. Her nimble fingers trailed from her cheeks, over to her lips, brushed her nose then finally settled down on her temples as Emily allowed her eyes to slip closed and for all light from the world around her to slip away. Darkness rushed in to fill the void and for all intents and purposes, she had fallen asleep in the alien's lap.

Her eyes flicked open as she stared around her. Random spurts of light dotted her surroundings - memories. A thousand voices filled her head, giving her some vital information. "Anastasia", she had a pretty name. Standing, she casually looked around, poking into a few memories before she finally found what she was looking for. Landing down into Anastasia's perspective, she relived everything the taller girl had went through the day before. Most of it, Emily had already seen but there were a few original memories; especially the ones with a weird brown haired girl that seemed to be plotting the downfall of the girl whose memories she was inhabiting. The brown haired girl must have been an alien hunter but Emily hadn't seen her around... unless... they had already taken her out!? Emily needed to get her work done and get out. God only knows what they were doing to her unconscious body! Oh yeah...

Finally, she sorted through the memories of Anastasia unpacking but by that point she was much too intrigued not to continue. After a series of rather mundane memories, she finally got to the ones of Anastasia in the canteen. Although her mind skipped through a lot of them, a feeling of confusion and pain rose in her before she shook them off, continuing onwards. As Anastasia was departing the canteen, she seemed to tear out the throat of some boy. So this was what the humans called a "love bite"? Interesting. Granted, Emily had a much softer image of it when she was reading through her books but humans still proved to surprise her everyday. Anastasia must have really liked that boy! Just as the images of the blonde giving the love bite continued, they suddenly died away as all the lights of her memories faded away to nothingness and Emily's perception was once again filled with darkness. Strangely, she could almost hear her breathing as a cold shiver ran down her back.

Almost at once, a million feelings of regret, loss, anger and unknowing hatred poisoned her mind as a few simple words filled her head. "You do not know what they are like, little one. They're wretched; every single last one of them." Emily had no use for such feelings so she spat them back into the void and in response, it kicked her back to where she came from.

Letting a heavy breath fill her lungs, her eyes suddenly burst open as a wild panic overtook her. It seemed that the feelings she had been subjected to while reading Anastasia's memories carried through to her own body as she incidentally erupted into a deep sob. Leaning forward, she buried her head in the blonde's shoulder as she continued to bawl uncontrollably.

"Hey, it's the first day of school. It wouldn't reflect well on you if you were already late on your first lesson."

Alexis rolled her eyes. Like she fucking cared about this stupid school. She wasn't even here because she wanted to be. She decided she was probably gonna end up ignoring Mishka more or less. Not like she really wanted to be friends with the chick. Especially after that stupid stunt with the alarm clocks.

"Besides...If you had just gone to bed at a reasonable time you wouldnt have had any problems with waking up at a normal time. I could have also awoken you when I got up, would you have preferred that? At 5:30?"

Ahahahahaha, if she did that, she'd be eating the ground for breakfast instead of that food. She didn't care how big this bitch was, or how good she thought she was. She still didn't reply though. Maybe if she'd just ignore her long enough, she'd go away.

"Or were you planning on skipping your first school day? If you're not planning on going to any of the classes then why did you even bother coming here if you dont mind me asking."

Actually, yeah, she was. She probably would have gone to the later classes out of sheer boredom, but this early? Fuck no. Not like she gave a damn about these stupid classes anyways.

"And I'm not saying you cant take care of yourself. I just thought it would be nice to bring you some breakfast. And besides...You looked like you needed some proper food for once because, well look at you. You're so scrawny that if you didn't have any superpowers even a child would be able to bring you to the ground."

This.

Fucking.

Bitch.

She did not just-Okay, yeah, she was pissed.

Alexis closed her laptop, setting it aside somewhere it wouldn't be easily damaged. She put her headphones around her neck, and stood up. She looked up at Mishka with a scowl. She was not intimidated by the other girls size at all.

"For your information, bitch," She growled. "I've dealt with scarier things than you before." Not a total lie. She did have to fight without her abilities sometimes...she wasn't the biggest of people, but hell, she could fight. She had to learn how. If it was one thing she had over most people...it was her stubbornness and tenacity. "I may not be some stupid buff muscle-head like you, but I can take care of myself. I don't need these powers to kick someones ass. And FYI, I ain't here cuz I wanna be. If I had it my way, I'd never have even set foot in this stupid place." For multiple reasons. Mostly because she didn't like...facilities like these.

That was the truth. If Her mom hadn't pretty much forced her to be here, she'd out be doing something fun. Like not talking to this chick. She had half a mind to punch this chick and knock her lights out. Permanently. She still had some miniscule amount of self control though, and wasn't about to go gettin' in trouble. If only because she didn't want to put up with it. If this chick said something else though...yeah, she was gonna teach this chick a hard lesson.

-Lukas Kunze-

As the boy strolled confidently, he began to extend his arm upwards, stretching as he traveled closer to the ever beckoning cafeteria. The place was literally welcoming him since his energy was sapped, and he needed the nutrients to restore him from his fatigued state... well, mainly his stomach since it spoke to him in soft growls, indicating that he should depart for that specific area. The boy brought his arms down back to his sides after reaching the peak of stretching, evidenced by his sigh with a quick smirk. He could only hope that naught a soul would be caught in his path, especially since he wanted to make them feel at home... unless they were a jerk and deserved some reprimanding for making anothers life repugnant.

"Ugh, I really should of brought what items I needed for class as it would of saved me a lot of time... I can just head back this time, however next time I might not be punctual... Hmm, I can only wonder what they are like as I still haven't gotten to properly learn about those two occupying the same space as me... Ah, I can probably meet them if they haven't proceeded to their instructor."

As the versed telekinetic rookie pondered on the two enigmas occupying the same space as him, he finally came upon the cafeteria without thankfully running over some poor students who diverged onto the same pathway as him. As he walked into the same familiar room, he took note of a few of his friends procuring sources of nourishment, acknowledging them in a friendly way. It seems a few of them were tired from what he could discern, some still groaning about one specific teacher which Lukas knew was the cause of myriads of mischief.

As he spoke with another, someone else caught his eye, someone foreign and abnormally tall. This girl wasn't the most graceful, however she didn't have any recesses of being a klutz. The giant lady bumped into a few people she passed on her way out, albeit on accident, and eventually passed him. The sight was bemusing as he never noticed the girl before, as she looked seemingly around his age. If her power was to go unnoticed for the longest time, well missy someone unplugged your wire at the source.

Once she exited the general vicinity, he could actually seriously contemplate if she was new or if she had the power of going unnoticed as he would be damned if that girl was like Kellam... however that would be pretty cool as he could easily sneak into girls dorms if they ever decided to invite him over for some... Uh, anyways, the thought lapsed over as he would learn soon enough as most, if not all of the years were paired together with classmates that had experience. Once he went to physics class, the key would unlock the way.

That or he could "break" the laws of physics in Geoffrey's class by levitating a few objects...

... if he was that sort of student who caused chaos on a whim and indulged in volatile situations which would degrade into further perpetuating discord. However, fun and games later, contributing to society first as order was a necessity to keep all the students in check.

As the boy entered the queue, he was rather cut-off by some random person who looked a bit... chubby with a pudgy grin on his face. The boy ruffled his eyebrows ever so slightly with a frown coming to fruition on his face. Didn't this person having any sort of manners in his system, or was he there to function deliberately as a way to troll people? I mean, this was petty for him to be having a mental annoyance over it, but would it kill him to wait an extra thirty seconds to two minutes?

With a placid sigh, the boys eyes began to move about the place, analyzing the same intricate details within the cafeteria itself to pass the time. Instead of talking with friends, he was patiently waiting his turn in line as he kept himself occupied until satisfiable victory was his in the form of healthy breakfast meals which would soon be relocated to a place he would like to call his stomach.

After a few short minutes of waiting, he finally made his presence clear as he began ordering some rather peculiar breakfast meal items that he himself found particularly good while staying within the medium of hearty healthiness. The boy grinned at the food as if it was a lost friend and gave his thanks to those who went through the wonderful creation of a meal that most students would find questionable.

"Ah, excellent, everything is here, per usual, save for one item I always remove in the process of creating this meal... too greasy for my tastes. Anywho, I can eat on the way to my room, dispose of these items, and be well off in time for class... after I possibly hide this scent again by brushing my teeth. Anyways, best I start le-"

Hold on brain, something was well off by a huge margin to the boy as he went off on his own mental tangent before returning to reality as he walked straight into some short kid he surprisingly didn't take notice of. Like seriously, the guy was miniscule from what he could discern and could only come to one unimportant conclusions, along with other hidden ideas.

This generation was comprised of midgets.

...

Ok, that might be an overstatement, but still, he was sure enough that this possible new-blood kid was under the average size for a boy. He was red-headed and had glasses and was rather prepared for the day from what he could discern... and he was focusing on the miniature details currently and not focusing on the big picture - he was on a crash course with this kid just as one car driving on the wrong side of the road was bound to collide with someone.

And there was no recovering from it as he walked straight into the boy, dropping the plate with his order. As swiftly as he could, be for any other disaster might transpire, he delayed the inevitable by stopping the plate at an angle. Lukas could only hope it remained undisturbed as he stumbled slightly back a few centimeters. Caught off guard, and slightly irritated at himself, he brushed himself off before turning his attention to the kid he ran into.

"Hey, you ok? Sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention.

Hopefully it would be better than this as this whole situation was awkward.

Borderline obfuscating stupidity to awkwardness anyways.
