Roxy shook her head. "You shouldn't be ashamed of who and what you are Ezekiel. You cant change. You just need to accept it. YOu need metal then take what you need. Especially if you can get it without Vlad knowing it. If you can keep your weakness from him you will have just more freedom from him." She wouldn't judge him. She knew what it was like to need something to others wouldn't understand.

Two guards walked alongside him as they escorted him handcuffed and gloved through the corridors with guns aimed at Max's head. He didn't get annoyed at them. He wasn't safe, he knew that. He just resented them. When they finally arrived to where Roxy and Ezekiel were talking one of the guards pressed a button and the handcuffs snapped in half and fell off they then legged it away.
Max lifted a gloved hand and said: "Uh hi?"

"Another graduate. Dangerous power from the looks of it. Welcome to the Hell House. My name is Roxy and the guy eating metal is Ezekiel. If the guards haven't told you were playing Vlad's version of a scavenger hunt. Our first clue is that we are looking for information written in black and white. Or something like that." Roxy explained with a shrug.

He growled silently at the mention of the scientist Vlad. I'm sorry I'm no good with riddles.

Avery Siler sighed as the guards took him out of the van that brought him to this place, that injected him with powers that he only could hear what they did. He hadn't been able to use them yet, as he hadn't met anyone with powers. This disappointed him, as it meant he wouldn't be able to test with them yet. He had to put up with that for now, until he met another inmate. They dragged him along to the entrance and shoved him through, not putting much more time than they had to. Vlad was nowhere to be seen, and he had no idea what to do, so he just began walking. It would be nice to see what the building had to offer. You couldn't tell by looking at him, but his mind was rushing and vivid. Many emotions within him conflicted, he was sad, nervous, curious, anxious, etc, so he didn't know how to feel. For now he decided to be neutral.

After wandering for a little while, he came across a boy looking a few years older than him, with red hair, which excited him, the first chance to use his powers. He knew instinctively how, so he stuck up his hand towards the boy and while concentrating, his eyes glowed green, and an essence of the boys powers flew from him to his hand. He hadn't stolen the blood control, just copied it. He liked his power. The only thing the boy would've felt is a slight tingling, but either way he walked up to him as he studied an evacuation map. "Hi." He didn't feel like talking a whole lot, but he had to greet him.

She nodded and walked with him going to open the door next to his. Checking it. She didn't like the guards at all. She still didn't get why they would be searching for something. weren't they the soldiers, not the scavengers.

Roxy snorted. "I don't think any of us are. That is way Vlad chose the riddle. He wants to make this as hard as possible. If we find everything we will get rewarded. If we don't we get punished. Either way he gets his data. He LOVES data. So we have to play his game. I know it's rude but what crime did you commit to end up in Hotel Hell?"

Toby walked through the hallway, swinging his arms back and forth for no reason at all, to where ever he was supposed to go. The guards had kept exchanging glances with each other, probably thinking something along the lines of I seriously can't believe we got stuck with this weird idiot. They had stopped at the entrance and pushed Toby in. He stopped at a room filled with a ton of other people, (Roxy, Ezekial, etc.) and then walked in, waving to none of them specifically. "Toby says hi to other new people! Toby also asks what this place is."

Flippy was too busy looking at the map to notice everybody disappeared. With out that knowledge Flippy has been staring at a map and talking to himself for who knows how long. He still was without his shirt since he didn't put it back on since his little demonstration. He did end up feeling a slight tingle followed by a voice saying 'Hello' which caused Flippy to turn around.

When Flippy saw a new arrival he knew one thing and one thing only. A new friend, nice to meet you. You missed the demonstration of our powers, but as you can see by my bloody back my power takes some body harm to use. What is your ability?" Flippy asked the new arrival.

At the mention of the fact that he missed out on everyone showing off their powers he slapped himself internally, would've been the perfect chance to choose a power to duplicate, but nope, he had to take a power he couldn't use, because he hated pain, and now he had to wait a while before he could even get a different power, and he'd have to find another inmate. "I'm Avery, to you as well. I duplicate powers." he introduced himself. "That tingle you felt earlier was me." He didn't know what to think about being called a new friend, though, but he had to be polite. "How do you put up with having to be hurt for your powers to work? I'd be in agony..." His internal emotions were a bit less riled up than before, but now he was pissed at himself.

Flippy laughed a little at Avery's shock at his powers "No it actually doesn't hurt I guess it's because I've had worse happen to me... Wait what kind of friend am I? I know your name but you still don't know mine. Well my name is Flippy and i'm on a scavenger hunt, well everyone is but they left already and i've just been here. Flippy said with a happy tone to it. He looked back at the map trying to remember what his plan was he kinda lost his train of thought when he found out there was a new arrival.

Avery thought over this for a moment. A scavenger hunt? "What are we looking for, then, Flippy?" he said with an odd thought. He'd never met anyone with the name Flippy, and it couldn't be a code name since they both introduced with their real names, not that it mattered. What mattered was succeeding at the scavenger hunt, but he'd need to know what to look for first...

Ezekiel sat in silence, chewing on the ruler, listening to what the shadow girl was saying without turning to her. He wondered, not for the first time, whether he was ashamed of what he was. He was definitely ashamed of his actions, but what if that murder was simply him being out of control? Could they really accuse him of murder, given the circumstances? He sighed with exasperation - his internal discussion of this exact topic has been getting repetitive in these past few weeks. Regardless, it was kind of funny that the shadow girl thought he was acting like quasimodo, while in actuality he simply did not want to talk to her. Her change of tone also caught his attention - perhaps she just took a while to warm up to people. It was understandable really, given the circumstances. Maybe he should try communicating with her again...

A noise from the doorway startled him, and Ezekiel was already thinking up excuses in case it was a guard when he turned. But a new recruit was even more suspicious, and the shadow girl's remark about his power did not escape his attention. While the two were talking, he looked into the guy's eyes, and at his hands and body, trying to find something strange or dangerous. Which made him almost jump at the appearance of another new recruit.

"Hey what the hell!" He pointed at the weird-talking new kid. "Who are you anyway?"

"I was joyriding in an... 'accuired' car. I may of been driving and may not of had a driving liscense also."

Raising his eyebrow at the sudden loudness of the so far quiet other recruit.
"Well if you'd of been paying attention you'd of known Im Max. Its nice to meet you all, i'd shake but im not going to risk it.

Well actually no one knows what we're looking for. We only have this riddle about we need to find information painted in black and white... Though i'm not very good at riddles, what about you? Flippy asked. He hoped his new friend would know more about riddles than he would.

Information painted in black and white... he thought, thinking about the riddle for a short time. "Sounds like a painting, if not, it'll most likely be text." he decided, noting the 'painted' aspect of the riddle. "Cmon, we need to search every room for black and white. Anything could conceivably be the answer." He said as he grabbed Flippy by the arm and dragged him towards the nearest room. The sooner they started is the sooner they'd have the riddle solved. He hoped the other made progress, if not, they'd be in for the long haul.

"Are you boys ready to continue our game of outsmarting the mad scientist?" Roxy asked. She glanced from one to the othe. She didnt really like having so many guys around her. But in the facility there were only a couple of females so it was something she was going to have to deal with. She headed back towards the door. She wondered what the two new arrivals thought of her unusual attire. They probably hadn't noticed. Which was good in a way.

Opening the first door only revealed a storage closet, nothing too terribly useful in there except some cleaning supplies. After thinking for a moment, however, he removed a broom from inside before closing the door and moving on to the next one, propping the item on his shoulder. Opening the next door revealed a classroom, thankfully, so he went inside to get a good look. Now that I think of it, classrooms have a lot written in them as well...books, papers...what about chalkboards? He never said that the writing was what was black.

Moving toward the front of the room, he took a good look at the desk and picked up a few writing utensils to hide on his person. They did still have to mark the rooms they checked, after all. Once that was finished, he turned to take a good look for any form of chalkboard, whiteboard, or even projection screen in the room.

Flippy was caught off guard when Avery grabbed his arm and dragged him of to the nearest room. "A painting? Are you sure that sounds right? Everyone else said like a book or something but not a painting." Flippy said before the two came to the first room. "Here it is our first room, do you want to go first?" Flippy said to Avery.

@gamer5910"Sure" he answered as he stepped into the office-like room and began searching through stacks of papers in a filing cabinet. "Although it may be a book, a painting, an old photograph, all things that're black and white can be our answer, we have next to nothing to go off of and an entire building to search." the office didn't seem to have much to offer, only useless text with no answers. Honestly he didn't want to be doing this, he would rather be alone in a cell... "I don't think there's anything here." he said as he shut the drawers. "Let's go to the next room."
