Ren Flint - Route 1

As Ren went to see these trainers he noticed one of them was seemingly trying to catch a pokemon. It was odd that anyone else ventured this deep into the woods because most trainers seem to want to pass through Route 1. This meant that these two were looking for pokemon and that was worth the praise as dedicated pokemon trainers.
From what Ren could see was that it was some kind of green pokemon but he couldn't get a good view. The boy threw a pokeball while the pokemon was not looking and it seemed to be caught. Ren found that a little disappointing because there was no way to know what kind of fighting spirit the pokemon had. It also robbed Ren a chance of seeing this trainers pokemon but what would he do. Ren could challenge this guy to a battle but anything caught here probably wouldn't do against Char.

Now that the trainers noticed him coming and they were done catching pokemon maybe it was time to introduce himself. "Hey I'm Ren Flint, nice to meet you guys." He started. "Oh and that was such nice capture. I guess now your going to have a new friend to hang out with." Ren said making trying to make small talk. In reality he did not prefer to catch his pokemon when their back was turned. It did not merit too much honor but who was he to judge the ways of a trainer before he finally got to know them.

Before he could respond and assure Fantasia that it wasn't a bug type, the trainer approaching them had spoken. He seemed to be a nice guy, looked honest, maybe too honest for his own good. Blair himself though, didn't look like the most honest, but that was just his eyes talking.

"I suppose I do, the name's Blair, nice to meet you too Ren", he responded. He looked at the Pokeball for a minute, and then called the Snivy out. In a flash of light there it was standing in front of him, a Shiny Snivy. He crouched down to meet it eye to eye.

"Your name from now on, will be Alain", he started. The Snivy didn't seem to mind, but the look in it's eyes... It looked like it was a bit of a trickster. Empress watched from the side keeping eye contact and asserting dominance.

"Hmmmm... I think we'll get along just fine", Blair got up and turned to Fantasia and Ren.

"So, are we all headed for Harport? Or is it just me and her?", he questioned.

Fantasia Heirloom - Route 1 - 4:30 PM

Fantasia watched as Snivy was called out of the Pokeball, it took her a moment to react; but suddenly she and Budew jumped with joy.

"Ooh! Its a Shiny Snivy!" She congratulated Blair, "Ohmigosh! Do you know what that means?"

Fantasia set her Shiny Budew next to the Shiny Snivy, before Blair could respond; as usual Fantasia cut him off "-it means you have a shot at Vanessa Von Goshe's mentorship! How divine would it be to take the class together?!"

She clapped her hands in a girlishy fashion, bobbing up and down watching Snivy and Budew converse.

By that time, the mysterious trainer named Ren had come up to Blair and Fantasia and began to make some awkward small-talk; which Blair and Fantasia were happy to participate in.

"Fabulous to meet you Ren, they call me Fantasia." She bowed, picking up Budew in the process and twirling her around with glee, she was going to ask if he was going to Harport; but Blair had beat her to it, so she waited for a response.

Ren Flint - Route 1

Ren almost laughed as the two were looking at their shiny pokemon. It was an odd coincidence that they both had shiny pokemon but if it happens then it does. This also confirmed Ren's idea that if he were to battle either of these two then his fire pokemon would have a slight advantage over them. Well it was true that Char could not use any fire attacks so it might be a bit closer but these people seemed too friendly to start a battle with. Ren dismissed the idea of a potential battle from his mind and brought up others subjects of thought.

"Sorry to say this but I just came from Harport." He answered the question from the one called Blair. "I am on my way to Estoria City at the moment. It looks like we are traveling opposite directions my friends." Ren announced to them. True it was a bit disappointing he only met these people and their pokemon for this brief moment but he was traveling the whole region. If fate had its way then he would run into the two of them again one day. "Well it has been nice meeting you two, Blair and Fantasia, but I'm afraid I have to get going before nightfall hits in a few hours. It has been a pleasure to meet the both of you." He said as he grabbed to shake both of their hands. "My pokemon are a bit tired right now but I do wish for a battle sometime in the future. So let fate have us meet again for that day." Ren said as he began to walk off while he made his way closer to the trail. He turned to wave back at them. "Have fun."

Fantasia watched Ren walk off into the unseeable distance, he was a strange guy; but kind. She waved back at him until he had dissipated and his appearance was taken over by the deep, deep woods. After that unusual encounter, she turned back to Alain and Duchess whom seemed to get along enough; they didn't seem to fond of each other but had a certain amount of respect toward their trainer, despite Alain's devious looks.

"Oh! Before I forget, we need to scan our Pokemon into our Pokenav!" Fantasia thumbled though her purse, "-it's our duty to Professer Cedar keep track of what we have spotted!"

Naturally, Fantasia's sleepy pokemon was up first, she set Budew down on the floor but she quickly hobbled over onto the grass; cooing a soft yawn.

"Budew, the Bud Pokemon, Sensitive to changing temperature, the bud is said to bloom when it feels the sun's warm touch."

Fantasia picked up her sleepy baby and cradled her in the purse for a nap.

Next was Duchess, "Eevee, the Evolution Pokemon, Eevee is a unique Pokémon that can adapt to its environment by changing its form and abilities when evolving."

Finally, the newcomer; Alain. "Snivy, the Grass Snake Pokemon; Being exposed to sunlight makes its movements swifter. It uses vines more adeptly than its hands."

"Hm, interesting!" Fantasia snapped her Pokenav closed and tucked it softly beside Budew in the purse, "-Now lets get moving, we need to find a hotel still for the night!"

"Unfortunate, but I suppose this could be one of many meetings, farewell then", he said, bidding the trainer Ren a safe journey. He turned back to Fantasia who brought up the use of their Pokedex, he silently did the same and scanned his newfound Snivy, and then turned towards the direction of Harport.

"Well, let's get going then", he said. He returned the Snivy back into it's Pokeball in order to make the ensuing walk easier.

The walk to Harport wasn't very long, but neither was the sunset. By the time they reached the gates the sun had gone down and only tiny rays of sunlight peeked out from the horizon. He wasn't sure if they were going to make it to the last ferry or not, but with the sun down, it was unlikely.

"Should we find a place to stay? Or should I attempt to see if there are any ferries leaving for Grand City yet?", he asked. Personally he would rather take his time and find a place to stay, but it was entirely possibly they can make it to Grand City without delay. If they took a ferry in the morning, they would arrive by lunch time.

Fantasia Heirloom - Outskirts of Route 1 - 6:30 PM

Fantasia thought for a moment, her legs aching from the trip she made in heels.

"I suppose we could walk down to the harbor and see if the ferry is making a last trip." She continued to walk with Blair towards the Harport gate, "-Cashton, my driver insists that we will have another limousine waiting for us upon arrival to take us to our hotel; but it is really up to you."

She looked at her tuckered-out Budew, catching a few ZzZz's in her purse; she assumed it would be best to return her into her Pokeball for some rest, and that she did.

She walked along side of Blair, feeling the chilly sunset breeze blow on her; her first day of her new life had went splendid; actually, Fantasia was eager and anticipating what was to come!

The train stopped in Estoria City a little later than he was expected, preston looked at the clock after he was done throwing up what was left of the lunch they served on the train. He was about half an hour late, he growled in annoyence and started to briskly walk to the pokemon lab where he needed to get his pokemon journy essentials. The city map he picked up when he had arrived was his only guide.

"Shuppet?"

the ghastly voice of his ghostly companion rang beside Preston. Causing him to jump "you followed me here?" he questioned, staring at the pokemon, it rubbing Preston on the head playfully with his horn and smiling. "Come on Shuppet were late!" he exclaimed ergently, his brisk pace turning into a run.

He arrived at the pokemon lab in a huff, Shuppet holding Prestons hat which had fallen off during the run.

Lab

"you must be Preston" a professional looking woman asked, she seemed dissepointed, or annoyed "You're late." the voice of the Professor made him feel bad for being late "Sorry, the train ran a little late" She gave him an eyebrow lifting stare "Well Preston, here you are. And I see you have your own starter?" she pointed at the Shuppet, who dissepeard in nervousness "Yes, thank you" Preston took the equipment from the professor and turned to leave,l securing the poke Balls on his Belt "If you hurry to route 1 you can still catch the others!" she callede after him.

Route 1

It was hot, and Preston forgot to pack water. And worst of all he didn't like the forest, too many spots for pokemon to hide in and attack you. To distract himself from his Thirst he looked to the ground,noticing recent tracks of different people, mostly sneakers and usual shoes but he swear he could make out some sort of High Heel shoes. Wierd, who goes through the forest in High Heels?, I bet the girl is also wearing some form of fancy Dress. The thought made Preston laugh outloud, getting Shuppets attention, she appeard and looked at him questioningly "nothing, I was just thinking of somthing Amusing." Preston chuckled.They walked in silece until Preston rememberd something the professor said, "Shuppet, can you be my first pokemon?" he asked, holding a pokeball, clicking the middle making the rest expand.

Shuppet narrowed his eyes at the ball "you don't have to be in it all the time, just when your at th pokemon center. I promise" Preston said with his hopes held high hoping Shuppet would say yes. Shuppet nodded and the pokeball activated, drawing SHuppet into it. It made the processing sounds and then the aprooval 'Ding'

Preston let Shuppet out right after, putting the pokeball in his bag. When they started to hear talking, then he saw somebody ahead of him, a little ways away, but he could just make up a person. He raised his arms and called out to them "hey!" hoping they had water for him and Shuppet.

Hadaron biked down the path passing several trainers before he saw a something moving off the side of the path. Carefully parking his bike he jumped off and set Ralts down moving closer. He pushed through some bushes and saw a small pokemon riding a flower. Scanning it he determined it was a Flabebe. Looking at Ralts his Ralts simply shook its head. "Not this one buddy? Alright then I guess its time to see how well you fare. Use Confusion, dodge its counterattack and then Confusion again alright?" he whispered to his Pokemon and stepped to the side.

Ralts concentrated fiercely and its horns lit up as it blasted the fairy with telekinetic power. The fairy made an angry whistling sound and charged Ralts just as expected. Naturally Ralts leapt to the side and blasted it again. The fairy staggered backwards and weakly attempted to attack Ralts once more but Ralts calmly stood and hit it again knocking it down. Hadaron looked at the unconscious Pokemon, "A pity, but I'll only catch someone that Ralts likes." He then grabbed Ralts and hopped onto his bike again making his way to Harbour city, with luck he should be there in time for lunch.

As Blair walked to the port, there seemed to be just a few people boarding the ferry there. He approached one of the staff and they said they were just boarding the last one. Well, this was some good news. He ordered two tickets and handed Fantasia the other, though it looks like they wouldn't really get the time to relax until they boarded, as this ferry was due to leave in a minute from the time they bought the tickets. Their backgrounds being rich, they had no problems paying for the fare.

The ferry to Grand City was expectedly not full of people. It was the last ferry after all, so it was just full of people going home, but it would be around a few hours before they arrived in Grand City. Everyone got their own cabins it looks like, though Blair took this time to call his Snivy from it's ball, so that he can feed them both dinner before getting himself something in the floor.

"This isn't an overnight trip though, we'll be there late evening", he said.

Fantasia Heirloom - Harport Ferry - 7:30 PM

Fantasia knocked on Blair's cabin door, looking through the see through glass at the trainer feeding his Snivy.

Once Blair opened the door, Fantasia flashed a quick smile and called her Budew out of the pokeball to eat with the hungry Snivy. She paced the room, looking at the differences between Blair's and her own.

"Hmmph, middle class cabin?" She sat quietly on the twin bed for a moment, as if she was brooding something "-went the cheap way eh?"

Fantasia let out a teasing but oddly depressing laugh, "I am just playing darling, silly me forgot to pack Pokefood; I figured you had some to spare."

She stared out the big and beautiful window at the open sea, the ocean reflected the stars beautiful twinkling; it was truely a beautiful sight to behold. Fantasia closed her eyes for a moment, attempting to draw in any energy she could muster up to keep her alert; at least until they arrived in the Grand City.

"-Oh! I just got off the phone with Cashton, he has everything ready for us upon arrival." She continued to stare at the ever-changing ocean beside her, she became weary for a moment then continued her thought "-two rooms at the most prestigious hotel, the Grand Tradition."

She sighed, placing a hand to the window as if she was reaching out to something out in the distance; unknown to Blake she was thinking of Meloetta. She reminisced of her childhood dreams of meeting Miss Von Goshe with her beloved Pokemon, touring the Grand City and making it big with her best friend by her side.

A single tear ran down Fantasia's face while her single hand slid down the glass, all good things come to an end; and Fantasia knew she had to go on, with or without Meloetta.

"It's fine, we won't be riding this for very long anyways", he responded, though she was just kidding, but she was a little distressed by it, or at least that's what he gathered. This may be a long journey for her... Fortunately he bought a little extra Pokemon food in case he would need to use it, and turns out it had a use. Once they arrive to Grand City, supplies won't be a problem, he also wanted to avoid his parents for the moment, it hadn't been any more than one to two days after all and it would be a tad awkward. Although as expected Fantasia already ordered some rooms in a high class hotel in advance.

"I see, that's good news, we'll be in Grand City in not long, so I guess I'll just take some time to look around the ferry", the view from the deck was better, but the cold wind was not. In any case, you can see Grand City from anywhere on the ferry's route, and at night the view was amazing.

Meanwhile in his room, Empress slept soundly and the Snivy, Alain was feeling a little mischievous, but didn't have much of an outlet for that, so he went to find his trainer. The cabin crew would later report a few minor disturbances before arriving in Grand City.

Honestly he was thankful she had actually asked him that question (and waited), cause he honestly didn't know himself, he would probably just leave it up to fated chance because honestly who the hell doesn't, let fate you to whatever the hell comes of it because honestly thats life. and whatever pokemon came to Elf he would welcome with open arms, he couldn't trooper around with Roc forever and he knew that, but he still didn't know what he was gonna go for in teams of a new teammate. Honestly, I don't know what I am gonna go for, hopefully something with a personality, that's all." Elf said replying as he walked out on to route 2. A gloried grassy forest route, that many trainers visited. Hopefully he would find a team member that would compliment him, hopefully...

(cue traveling timeskip? for a few hours to bring character time up to the present..?)

Ren Flint - Route 1

As Ren made his way to the city he wondered what time it was. Sure the young trainer was hoping to make it to the city in time to hear Professor Cedar's lecture. Professor Oak recommended Professor Cedar because she was supposed to be the biggest authority on this part of the world. If she was so brilliant then she must know a lot about pokemon. Ren didn't exactly want to know too much as much as he wanted to see her to give her Professor Oak's regards. Ren felt confident that he would be heading north after he reaches Estoria City. From there he will challenge the pokemon Gyms one by one and continue his path to take down the champion. However he did want to meet this professor before that happened. By the look of the sun Ren had spent too much time today in the forest.

If he did miss the professor then he could hang around town until tomorrow and he wouldn't be that far behind. After all Ren had all of the time in the world to train up his team and challenge the pokemon league champion. If he had all the time in the world then Ren was the type of person to take all the time he needed. That meant he would catch a bunch of cool pokemon ad meet so many more. That didn't mean that he was going to make friends with only his pokemon. He would befriend and cherish every pokemon in the world he runs into. Together with everything he learns in this region he would become the pokemon league champion.

However Ren was so deep in thought that he walked right into someone. After the trainer hand successfully collided with this person he lost his balance and fell right down. "Oh Sorry about that. I must have not been paying attention to anything around me." Ren apologized.

Sato Blue - Route 1

Sato strolled down the dusty road his Totodile "Chomper" as he called the small crocodilian Pokemon, which marched along beside Sato cheerfully trying to eat bugs that flew around in the air.

Sato smiled he loved Chomper so much he stopped for a second and rubbed its head and then returned to walking along making his way to a town.

Sato didn't know what lay ahead for him and thought really making Pokemon battle was slightly abusive but no one ever listened to him, although at times the Pokemon did seem to enjoy battling and that was a point that his Pokemon made all the time because it is tough and brutish at times so it enjoys a good challenge.

Sato just kept walking down the path and yawned and flipped his hair to the side as he and his Pokemon strolled calmly down the path.

Fantasia decided to get closer to the top of the ship, to look at the city in all its glory before entering. The Grand City really lives up to its name and would be anything you’d expect it to be, large twinkling lights flashing against the pitch black sky and huge hotels and skyscrapers providing opportunity for fame and fortune at every corner; Fantasia felt home -and a little sleepy.

“Attention passengers,” a voice announced, “we have arrived in the Grand City; please return to your rooms to grab your belongings and have a great rest of your night.”

Fantasia flashed a half-smile one last time at the glimmering lights, letting them spin in her eyes one last time before she slugged back to her room to collect her purse. Once she had made sure she had everything she needed, she walked over to Blair’s room and opened the door to Blair who was just repacking up his things.

“-well, here we are!” Fantasia yawned, trying to seem more excited then she really was; or at least as excited as someone could be when arriving late at night, the only thing she was excited about right now was finding a nice comfortable bed to sleep in. “You got all your things packed and ready to go?”

"Why yes, well, let's get going then", he responded. He turned to his Snivy Alain and returned him to his Pokeball before Empress followed close behind him as they exit the ferry. It was evening, but still bustling, as was normal with Grand City. It wasn't closing time for shopping centers just yet, but that time was so close they're better off not going until tomorrow morning. He was here not a mere two days ago, he was somewhat eager to get going, perhaps to Niquora, though Fantasia wasn't going to let him get away from Vanessa, not that he minded. It might be good to learn some Pokemon coordination, contests seemed to be a fun gig.

"As bustling as it was two days ago...", he said to himself. Empress didn't much mind returning, but she didn't seem eager either. He shared his thoughts on the matter,

"Well, next is the hotels you mentioned... Then Vanessa tomorrow, I guess? I'm not as eager as you are, but I think it would be a nice experience".

Fantasia Heirloom - Grand City Port - 7:00 PM

Fantasia smiled, visibly tired in the eyes; she was excited to meet Miss Von Goshe but only had the hotel on her mind at the moment. She rustled through her purse to find her cellphone, which was sitting between Budew's pokeball and her Pokenav. One-by-one she punched in the limo-drivers digits, waiting at the repetitive tone for a response.

"Erhm.." The limo-drivers voice murmured though the phone, "Miss Fantasia, has your boat docked?"

"Yes, where are you located?"

"Parking Structure 2, First floor."

"Thanks." Fantasia hung up, placing her phone back into her purse. "This way."

Fantasia and Blair began their trek to Parking Structure 2, where the new limo-driver was waiting. Fantasia and Blair hopped in the limo, Fantasia not saying anything to conserve energy, closing her eyes hoping it would make the drive pass by quicker. The ride was mostly silent; it was obvious the trip to the Grand City had made both the teens weary.

After a daunting ride to the hotel, they had finally arrived at the Grand Tradition Hotel, the place was huge and very regal; placed right in the middle of the Grand City strip, only a few steps away from the hottest shops and casinos. Fantasia noted a Pokémon center that had to be at least twenty stories tall, it was such an astounding sight and was quite breathtaking in retrospect.

It seems like this night would never end as the wheels kept turning towards the Grand Tradition.

The hotels were something he was used to, as cush and comfortable as they were, they didn't give him as good a feeling as it did Fantasia, though their upbringings were similar, Blair much preferred things he earned, over things he was privileged to. It was why he had chosen Empress despite his parents presenting him with fancy posh Pokemon. Despite being plain, Empress had the regal feel to her too, but more of power. It was probably not going to be obvious until she evolved into god-knows-what. Before returning to his room he informed Fantasia of his plans,

"I'm going to go out for a stroll, maybe eat dinner or supper later, or just have room service bring that up, but I'll be out just for a little while", he said, before leaving Fantasia to rest up in her room. He walked through the streets that were emptying with people going home from work, but filling up with people going out to enjoy the night life of Grand City, and it lived up to it's name in that regard.

As he stepped through the streets, he edged close to the parks and port, where there were less people, he swept by the food stands quickly to get a bite to eat, hot dogs, well, what did he expect? It was Grand City. Empress followed behind him as normal. In any case, he was having a pretty nice time just taking in the view. It was night time, so naturally Pokemon that prowled the night in the city were at large, something Empress knew, being the 'queen' of the area... Though that status may have changed over time under Blair's ownership, but she seemed to still command respect from the Pokemon in the area. So there he sat in a park beside the pier, eating.

[ENCOUNTER REQUEST]

"Del Rosas, face it, all the trainers here are too weak! Let's go somewhere else."

Del Rosas looked backed at the grunt with, confidence, and a hint of annoyance. Del Rosas always found good enough people here, he wouldn't fail the captain this time, he would be rewarded for his actions, actually do something with his life besides recruit. He would be more like Rachel.

"They, will, come." He said the words calmly, but he sounded stressed, as if he had said it a million times, which at this point he probably did.

"Fine, but I'm leaving!"

"They'll take that out of your pay check, y'know."

"They pay you, not me!"

"And you wonder why!" Del Rosas called out his last snarky remark before the grunt left.

He sat on a stone, looking at trainers for signs of strength, something that might prove their worth to Team Nexus, but he saw none. Until a boy and girl came up the route. The boy, he felt like he had seen him before, but the girl, he hadn't, and she looked next promising.

"Here we are."
