Fox though for a second playing with the flame on her hand. Pencils used lead right easily melted. All she would have to do is pour the melted lead into a containor and find something to work as a quill.

Wait that was a long time ago now its mostly something else.

So instead she started searching through what her partner hadn't to see if she could find anything.

Ezekiel got tired of glaring at the newcomer after a few minutes. The guy didn't seem to be wholly 'there'. He looked at the shadow girl to see what she makes of this, and nodded when she suggested to continue.

"I don't have ideas smarter than checking all rooms," he grunted, "But it beats standing around scratching our heads."

He gently pushed past the crowd and returned the way he came, to write down all room numbers he checked already, with a word or two about their content. He then proceeded down the hallway around the bend, back towards the place with the map, while checking all rooms on the way.

Flippy agreed to go to the next room but not before he grabbed some writing utensils and blank copy paper. He stuffed the pencils in his pocket and folded the papers and put them in his other pocket. "On to the next room." Flippy said cheerfully.

@PeacelessRoxy shrugged. She headed out of the room. She had given her opinion. What they were looking for wasn't on this floor. Vlad wouldn't make it easy for them.they had already wasted over an hour searching. She headed to the next room.there on the board was a note. Curious she walked up to it. Top to bottom. Round and round.what you seek can not be found. Knowledge in black and white can only be seen in the light."

As he turned around to follow Roxy he tripped up over his feet and fell onto her. Pushing with his glove covered hands against the wall to make sure he didnt touch hee but it was too late his chin touched the back of her head for a second and his hair became more her shade of black as part of her shadow manipulation was drained from her. (As the touch lasted barely a second only powers were drained and so little that she will only feel a slight drop in her abilities) He sjddenly saw the shadows around him in a different way feeling each with his mind as if they were physical. Not wanting to waste the power he put it at the back of his mind after forcing it with all of his will and the shadows cleared but the power was still there waiting to be used. "So sorry!" He exclaimed hoping he hadnt drained anything else. He then looked up at the note and thought to himself more riddlea huh?

Satisfied that there was nothing else of use in the room, Felice exited and started toward the next one. As he left, however, he left a small mark to the side of the door with a marker he had picked up while scouring the desk. It wasn't any bigger than a pinky fingerprint, and contained the letters "VP" with a line through it. It wasn't much, but hopefully the others would get the message. With the room marked, he looked back toward his partner before indicating that he was moving on.

Of course, as he started toward the next door, he decided that they probably couldn't waste time examining all of the other rooms the same way. Hopefully, they wouldn't have to look too hard for any sign of what they would be looking for. This game was already a mess as practice for a mission; what kind of person would send a squad in completely blind like that for something time-sensitive? Even government agents had moles, right? Not that he could really do anything about it.

Letting out a quiet sigh at their helplessness, the short boy peered through the doorway of the next room and quickly looked around.

Roxy automatically reached for one of her knives. She curse when her hand found only emptiness in her boot. She was going to have to find a way to get those knives back to from Vlad. She shoved the guy that landed on top of her as hard as she could. "If you touch me again you are going to regret it. I don't care what your power is I will kick your ass. I don't like to be touched by anyone for any reason."

@gamer5910 Avery nodded as Flippy cheerfully skipped out of the class, noticing him stealing the pencils and paper. He made a mental note to find out if he liked drawing, writing, or just didn't want to be bored alone in his cell, but for now he had more important things to worry about- the answers to the riddle. As he thought and walked out of the office, he saw a black haired girl shove a black haired guy out the doorway of their room. Instinctively, not wanting his current power, he reached his hand forward and an essence of the girl's power flowed into him. Suddenly, he saw the shadows in a different way, much more viable. He ignored them for now. "Have you found any clues yet?" he asked the girl, hoping they had found anything.

I'd like to see you try he thought in his head but out loud he exclaimed "God! I'm so sorry I didn't mean too, It won't happen again!" then looking around the room "any more signs with handy clues on in here?"

"What the hell?!" Roxy snapped as another boy approached. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" She looked at the guards but they were ignoring the byplay. She needed to get her knife back. She didn't want people in her space. She glared at both of them and moved towards the wall. "No we haven't found anything. We were heading to the next hallway."

Avery slightly raised an eyebrow as the girl shouted towards all of them, making a mental note that she might either be unstable, claustrophobic, or just mad, noting the anger might come from the boy she kicked into the hall. He sighed as she said they found nothing. "Thusfar we haven't found anything, either." he motioned towards Flippy to help him search the next room. "Yell if you find anything." he said behind his shoulder as he stepped into the newer room and began searching about and around for clues.

Roxy followed the others to the next hall. This one had nie doors five on the right and four on the left. Each door had a solider stationed by a keypad. The labs, she thought. She knew one of the rooms better then she wanted to. "We might be able to get into a couple of these Roos but most of them will be secure."

Flippy gave a big wave when he saw the others from they gym, and then followed Avery to the next room. Flippy started to search the new room even though he knew nothing would be found in this room just like the last. Flippy eventually stopped searching and sat down on the floor then letting out a sigh.

Without noticing, Ezekiel moved to stand between the shadow girl and the newcomers. He still didn't like her, but the thought of her being in danger put him in a weird primordial discomfort that he somehow had to act against. Only after the others moved away that he allowed himself to step to the side, far out of her way, and look her over. Her inner works were more visible now - anger and helplessness. She was slamming against the walls of her cage with every step, he thought, challenging them constantly while grinding herself to dust.

When he noticed he was staring at her, Ezekiel coughed and quickly turned away. He quickly moved towards a door to a random room that wasn't being searched by the others, to continue solving this riddle in the only way he knew.

The room he opened the door to was a science lab. One wall was covered with monitors. Most of the monitors displayed some sort of formula. There were letters and numbers. In the middle of the room two sciences were going over notes at a table. They looked up at Ezekiel when he entered but quickly returned to their work. The scientist were typical science nerd. Skinny men with glasses and lab coats. Alone another wall there were machines for testing. Along the third wall held cages with animals in them. Most of the animals were of the smaller variety rabbits, mice, birds, snakes, ect.

Felice grumbled under his breath as he turned down the next hall. His companion had vanished somewhere while he was checking one of the rooms, goodness knew where to, and he still had no idea what to look for. All he had was whatever he could steal and hide from the classrooms and the rags and push-broom from the closet he had raided. This whole search was a mess. How would this help them in any sort of situation?

...Wait a minute...

Maybe that was the problem. They weren't treating this like an an actual mission at all. What would they do if they were actually dropped into an unknown base? They wouldn't just be left alone by the guards, that was for sure. And they would likely have to find an actual base of information, not just mess around in rooms anyone had access to. So...clearly, there needed to be a change in plans.

And he had just the idea.

Positioning the broom over his shoulder so he could move more quickly down the hall now, he stopped checking every room he came across and just looked for ones that were marked with certain names. Specifically, he needed a locker room or a staff lounge of some sort. After that, he had to find another storage closet and perhaps an office...

The hallway was a short on. It had four doors. Three on one side one on its own. The lone door would one open to what appeared to be a large closet. There were clothes of various sizes and styles. The first door on the other side opened to what looked like a small theater. The second opened to a small office. The third was a large dressing area with dressing and makeup stations.

Checking the doors, the short boy only found the contents to be more and more curious. The theater and dressing room almost made him smile, almost like he was entering familiar territory again. There would be more time for this soon enough, however; the first thing to do seemed to be to check the office. If he was lucky, there could be something useful to him. Considering what he was about to try, though, he thought to listen at the door of the office before actually entering. If it was empty, he would go in, and if not...well, he would have to wait. Maybe he'd learn something of interest without even needing to enter.

Suddenly, two guards appeared in the green hall. Between them was dragged along a tall, black-haired boy. He did not resist; he was beyond that, and its not like it would make a difference anyway. His hands were immobilised by normal steel handicuffs, instead of the standard- issue plasma-locked cuffs, partly because he still would not resist, but mostly because the old school cuffs were completely mechanical and had minimal moving parts.
This boy was known as Deus.
