A few hours later...

Sonomachi City - Dangeki Cosplay Café

A couple walked through the streets of the City's downtown, already bathed in red hues by the early evening. After a little while, they stopped in front of a neat looking building, the words [Dangeki Cosplay Café Club] were written in a charming signboard that hang out from it's eave.

"Is this the place?" The girl asked the man.

"Yes, it's. Dangeki Cosplay Café Club, on the outside it might look like just one more place for the otaku creeps who live on this city gather around, but in truth it's a Hunters' Association independent joint, run by a number of Chasers, both human and Liner Youkai." The man answered in a matter of fact way as he dropped his cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.

"Yeah, whatever you say, old man. We're just here to do our job anyway, though I think that the real creep here is you." The girl said right before pushing the shop's door open. As expected there were no customers inside at this hour and the staff was either doing small jobs or just slacking around, not that the girl cared for it, by any means.

"Moshi Moshi! Is miss Shiina Gamai somewhere around here? We got a message from Akane Chikage of the Red Cloud Music Store for her." The girl said as she made her way to the counter and sat on one of the fancy looking chairs. "Also, I'd like a café au lait and a strawberry shortcake, please."

"Are you seriously going to stop to eat, we're the middle of work. Do you understand that?" The man said, slightly irritated.

"Yeah, what can I do if I'm hungry? I'm a developing girl you know, my body needs plenty of energy to grow in the proper way." The girl said, ignoring the man. "Plus the smell of this place is just delicious" The girl said as she waited for her order.

"I'll handle it."

In a blur, the girl's desired treats were present in front of her. During normal working hours, such work accuracy wouldn't be so easily seen due to the amount of human customers that visited at that time. But under the cover of darkness, the perfect and elegant maid known only as Shiina Gamai was able to exude her powers a bit more freely. It certianly made late night helpings all the more easier.

"Is there anything else I can assist you with young Mistress?" she asked with a polite tone and neutral expression. "If I may inquire about your message perhaps?"

"She told us to warn you about something bad on the other side. She wasn't too specific, however, she just said that it was like the calm before a storm and that you would know it." The girl said before digging in her treats.

The vampire Youkai allowed a frown to cross her face before simply nodding in acceptance. A message like that from the Soul Stone buyer did not bode well for anyone. It was enough to give Shiina reason to believe that a number of Chasers would have to become involved in this particular case.

"Please inform her then to contact any Chasers near her area and direct them towards the cafe."

"There' more, actually." The man said as the girl was occupied eating. "Miss Chikage also told us to tell you that you should begin by investigating the biker gang know as Yellow Jackets. They are unusually active these last few weeks and their leader, Suzumebachi seem to know of something."

To this, Shiina raised an eye. The Yellow Jackets? Gangs and grouplings of Youkai causing trouble weren't unheard of but the Chasers had usually dealt with the problem before they became any sort of relevant threat to the human world.

"Understood," she said to the main, as diligent as ever. "Before I forget, would you like something yourself, young Master? Some refreshements?"

"I'm alright, I'm not like those cre..." The man began talking before the girl elbowed him in the gut.

"Look at her yes, you idiot. If you value your life don't finish that sentence." The girl said as she motioned her partner to look at Shiina's eyes. The vampire maid was furious for almost being called a creep, though it was kept concealed for the sake of appearance, but the man was too oblivious to notice.

"Aside from the delicate comments from our friend here, I take it that this is all you have to discuss with me young Mistress? Allow me to call forth our allies then," the maid said with a graceful bow before speeding off to the back of the cafe.

Hidden from the eyes of commonfolk was a wide assortment of rooms and other goodies reserved for the Chasers. But for now, Shiina dashed over to installed PA system and began to play a pre-recorded set of sounds. Only the trained ears of a Chaser could distinguish the noise from the regular dronings of the night atmosphere. Done with her task, the vampiric maid moved back to her position at the front counter.

Now it was time to wait for the others.

Cinwi never walked the streets unless she was wrapped up. Above the bottom layer bodysuit she wore a jacket, a hood, and a scarf beneath that running up to her nose. Her pants were baggy and tied at the ankles, while elbow-length arm-warmers led into fingerless gloves on her hands. As little skin as possible, the less people could see of her, the better. The heat didn't bother her much, she was used to it and the girl wasn't prone to sweating, so she walked with relative comfort.

Where to? Well, the nigh-inaudible and yet still unmistakable signal told her well enough that Dangeki was the place to be. Why? She didn't have a clue, and she didn't care too much either. The past few days had been uneventful, and while she wasn't one to complain about peace --anymore at least-- time had begun to drag a bit. So she walked in the hopes that there would be something interesting in store, maybe a mission, maybe a cry for help, either way it was better than the practically nothing she was doing before.

When at last she arrived, it didn't take long for her to pick up the all-too-familiar scent of humans, and she scowled beneath the scarf. Though she could give a thousand slightly-fabricated excuses for disliking them, a concrete reason always avoided her. Since the day she was born humans had been the enemy, and the weak Youkai that aided them. That's just the way things were, a rule of nature simple as that. Except now she was part of that group, and dammit she wasn't weak, but the humans felt like enemies all the same. In another time she might not have been able to repress the urge to lash out at them, but now, at least in some small way, Cinwi was a new person. A Chaser. If that meant swallowing back her natural instincts for the greater good --whatever that was-- then so be it, she could manage.

So she shuffled past the girl and man without so much as a word, before setting down on a stool at the front counter. Her attention went to the maid behind it, a woman she saw here frequently enough --though Cinwi wasn't one to frequent the cafe herself-- but wasn't entirely sure what her name was. What she was sure of was that the lady, whatever she was, was not human, and that was enough to settle Cinwi a bit.

"Ay," she said to the barmaid, tugging the front of her scarf down and keeping her voice relatively low. "Am I hearin' shit or did you guys send out a signal?"

Tsuyoshi was up in his room, tinkering with his new project. He wheeled his way over on his office chair to his laptop, and began typing away-

Test 26- Thunder Hammer (Figure C: Electric current): I will now be testing the new setup I have. Success= The immediate construction of the weapon. Failure= Looking into an even smaller generator. Or stronger wiring.

Tsuyoshi flipped down the welding helmet he had got from a junkyard ages ago. Fortunately, it was still in good condition, like most of his building tools he had got from other junkyards too. He then went back to his contraption and held down a button in between the contraption. Electricity surged through the entanglements of wire, all leading to a piece of fabric on the far side of the table. Tsuyoshi smiled underneath the mask, the electric current was going through with ease. But would the wires hold up? Tsuyoshi let go of the button, and all the electricity seemed to have stopped. Tsuyoshi lifted up the mask, and inspected the wires. Burnt out. He sighed, until a Chaser signal invaded his ears. He smiled again, knowing that now he'd have something else to do. He took of the mask and replaced it with his cap. Grabbing his Katana, he set off to the Dangeki Cosplay Café.

After walking around through the city, he finally wound up at the Café. He opened the door, noticing another chaser had came, Cinwi. He also saw Shiina at the counter. "Konichiwa Cinwi, Shiina. How goes it?" He asked cheerfully. "So what's all this about, we got another job?" He inquired as he sat next to cinwi, he also put some money on the counter. "Coke, if you would Miss Shiina." He asked politely.

It was horrendously cringe-worthy, but it was a sacrifice that he had to make. His dignity as a human being in exchange for getting enough money to pay off rent. While Rui-Ling was a hardy enough individual that could probably just sleep on a newspaper in an alleyway without ever eating food or drinking water, that was a very uncomfortable existence to have, and a supremely depressing one as well. And so, he rented out a one-room suite, constantly buys tasty junk food that would never have any long-term impact on his health due to immortality, and takes jobs from the Dangeki Cosplay Café.

The super seedy, creepy place where girls in costumes are ogled by fat wastes of spaces was definitely an uncomfortable place to job search in, but, alas, there wasn’t much else he could do about it. The light-haired young man, wearing an inconspicuous hoodie and carrying his hands in his pockets, pushed open the door with his shoulder, before nodding in approval at the distinct lack of customers within the shop. There was, of course, a creepy red-head treating a middle school girl to a sweet meal, but enjo kosai was a minor sin at best, and Rui-Ling ignored it.

He sat himself down at the corner, ordered a glass of water, and then said to the empty air, “Business is booming, huh?”

Other Chasers were coming, and he would probably have to compete for jobs later, but for the time being, there was only a creeper couple and a bunch of greenies. Rank C fodder, no doubt. Nothing to sweat about.

His silver hand drummed a nervous tempo in the table as he did his best to ignore all the weird-ass costumes that the waitresses wore.

Like usual Eiko was in the back of the cafe, she was use to staying in the cafe for long hours either in the back or helping out in the front, she didn't like dressing up in odd outfits for people to come into the cafe, but Shiinaa told her that Eiko's petite build could actually bring in people who are more into women that have a more voluminous and curvy build.

Sadly for Eiko, Shiinaa was right about Eiko for the past month that Eiko has been serving here more people that were into Eiko's petite build were showing up to eat and drink the place's coffee, Eiko secretly hated that Shiinaa was right about the fact that Shiinaa was right.

But part of her couldn't fully hate Shiinaa for it, she like Shiinaa and admired the woman, she couldn't actually explain the feeling that she got with the vampire but she didn't hate her guts and feels as if she would probably stick her neck out for Shiinaa.

Eiko walked out to the front to see the new arrivals and didn't really give her opinion openly on them at the moment she sat back leaning on one of the walls with her coat buttoned up and her arms crossed waiting for the others to arrive soon.

"Your all shining stars!" Rosa shouted out during practice. It was line that she said at each of her shows and couldn't but say it at the end of every practice session. However at this point the guitarist had left early. Apparently the guitarist had gotten sick of Rosa's constant peppiness she also didn't like being treated like a fan by Rosa. "I'm done with this, I just can't understand any of this, and I can't keep up with this energy either." The band member said before leaving the band entirely. Rosa gave a sigh as her band member left. She couldn't really blame the poor girl for wanting to leave, none of the band members actually stood out compared to her. It was hard to stand out compared to Rosa after all.

Rosa headed out to the Dangeki cosplay cafe, she had heard that an amazing guitarist could be found here and she needed one. She had a show coming up soon after all and she needed a new guitarist. She was wearing a hoodie at the moment with her hood up. She was rather recognizable by others as she had a pretty big fanbase. As Rosa entered the shop she had heard what seemed to be the sound of a calling for Chasers. "Looks like I came just in time!" Rosa said with a smile as she flipped off her hood. "I was here on a different matter concerning my recent need for a guitarist. You guys wouldn't happen to know anyone particularly good with a guitar would you?" Rose said with a smile.

Rosa walked further into the cafe and winked at the other chasers who were there. As always Rosa was extremely cheerful, she treated pretty much everyone like her fans no matter who they were. Even if they didn't like her Rosa would still treat them as if they were a fan. "If there's a good job I wouldn't mind having a go at it." Rosa said with a smile on her face as she sat down near some of the other patrons. "And a strawberry Shake would be awesome as always." Rosa said as she winked at a server.

A slightly tall, young woman with long reddish brown hair and equally red eyes walked through the burnt remains of what used to be a warehouse not even a decade ago, before this area of Sonomachi got abandoned in favor of the new industrial district, searching for something.

She was dressed in a white coat with red details and a red pleated miniskirt. Her legs were further covered by a dark pantyhose and her feet were protected by white/red heeled boots. An attire fitting for the ever colder nights of the upcoming winter.

Eventually, the woman found what she was looking for, though the frown in her otherwise beautiful face, revealed that she wasn't pleased by her finding at all. The reason for such was easy to figure, given that what she was gazing at are the charred remains of a human being, who died as if they body had been burned from the inside out.

Despite the grim situation, a forced smirk found its way to the woman's face, after all, the presence of a body meant that she was getting closer to the target of her search. However, before she could investigate the body for more clues, the signal from Dangeki reached her ears and the woman turned away from the body. After she offered one short prayer to whoever was it that had died such an horrible death, the woman disappeared into the evening light with her destination set to the Dangeki Cosplay Café.

At the Café...

Eos had just finished readying the first round of orders and left the kitchen to serve the people who had already placed their orders. Just as she was finished, Eos turned to Shiina "..." but didn't said a thing, just staring at the vampire's face for several seconds until someone called for another waitress.

Moving from Shiina, Eos arrived by the side of Rosa's table "..." and stood there, waiting to take her order. However, at the mention of Rosa's search for a guitarist, Eos' eyes naturally wandered to the ministage that Shiina had set-up for Eo's weekly shows for the Café's customers.

Nevertheless, the Electric Princess didn't do so much as move a muscle and just continued to stare at Rosa as she waited the other girl the other girl to continue the talk "...".

Shiina watched as one by one customers of all sorts began to file into her cosplay café. She watched them all through perceptive red eyes, noting who was a Chaser, Youkai, or just associated with the good business. She was at their side in an instant, noting the taken orders and quickly delivering them with pinpoint accuracy.

Vampiric speed tended to make serving all the more easier for someone like her. As she went about her business, she was aware of Eos’ eyes tracking her every step and had to repress a mental sigh to herself. She wasn’t blind. She was well aware of the robotic girl’s more in-depth feelings concerning her. Unfortunately, Shiina wasn’t one for stuff like that so she ignored her for now, caught up in the throes of her work.

“Greetings Master Tsuyoshi,” Shiina said politely, bowing before handing him his drink. “As always, we have quite a few missions available at the mission board in back. Please refer to it as soon as possible. If you would, please inform our newest guest of the mission system,” she finished, directing the boy’s direction over to Cinwi.

With that said and done, the vampire maid swiftly filled out orders in rapid succession, giving small nods to frequent visitors such as Reiko and Rui-Ling. With everyone having seemingly arrived-and they could always pass the news on if more were to come-Shiina drew everyone’s attention to the front desk with the clank of a tea cup.

“Good evening everyone. As you may all know, we are gathered here for a particular Chasers mission given by our primary ally and benefactor, Miss Chikage. Ordinarily, a job such as this would only require the presence of one or two of our number. However, Miss Chikage has informed me that this specific job may call the need for more of our group. Young Mistress, young Master, if you would please explain more.”

Shiina turned now to the two strangers that had entered long ago. No doubt the man was thinking some interesting thoughts in the face of so many Chasers and even a few Youkai. As a result, Shiina expected the girl to speak out in his place.

“Damn it! Why is it so cold!” Jeremy shuddered as he rushed to make his way back home through the frosty streets. As he reached home Jeremy dropped his keys, barely able to hold them long enough to unlock his door. Shutting it behind him Jeremy scrambled to light his fireplace. Going though an entire box of matches they all were instantly snuffed out.

“...One? Only one left?! Damn it!” almost crying Jeremy tried the last match and it was snuffed like all the rest. Shivering he could only stare at the empty box as if it will some how have more matches in it. As he shivered he slowly started feeling warm and felt a pair of think arms around him, firmly holding him as he warmed up.

Soon he was comfortable and falling into a daze, until the temperature slowly continued to climb. Trying to struggle out of the arms, they only gripped tighter. Turning in their grip Jeremy saw pure blue, luminous, eyes staring back. Hearing “Be... Warm...” in an odd voice, as if it was testing the words, Jeremy opened his mouth to ask a question before he thought his mouth smothered

In the next instant a blistering heat was shot down his throat and Jeremy tried to scream and he felt himself cook from the inside out, the smell of his own flesh cooking making him gag into the other thing’s mouth. The next thing he knew he felt nothing and his consciousness faded away forever... this took only three seconds and a minute later a fiery streak was seen shooting eastward into the night and Jeremy's fireplace lit.

Tsuyoshi laughed as Shiina zoomed around the café. "Stop with the whole master thing Shiina, for the last time please." He graciously accepted the glass of coke and drunk a bit. "Thanks!" He said as he turned to Cinwi. "So you're new here? Follow me." Tsuyoshi offered as he got out of his seat, still with the glass of coke in hand. After drinking another bit, he gestured around the mission board as he explained it. "Anytime the shop gets a contract, they post it here. It's based off of classes. A, B, C and so on and so on. Now, S missions are really hard and really fucking dangerous. SS, even more so." Tsuyoshi said, until Shiina spoke up again, this time to all the Chasers. Now this was interesting, and Tsuyoshi kinda looked forward to this one, being able to work with the other, more skilled Chasers too.

"Why did they have to call so early..."

Yuudai complained to herself as she pulled the cap of the bottle of peach juice off from the bottle she had gotten on her way here, a little pick me up since her sister saw fit to tell her about something going down at the cafe. Why was it early for her? Well she decided for it to be a small day off, and her bed was really comfy, sadly being told to get out of it by one of the few people she listened too ruined that plan, so she guessed she was heading for the cafe for this job.

"I hope it pays pretty well."

After perking up a little she finished off the plastic bottle and crushed it just as she reached the door, making sure to put her foot out to stop it from closing on her just as another person had entered. "Don't worry everyone, I have arrived~" Her tone was rather loud, but thankfully she made it just before Shiina started to talk, if she had interrupted she worried what may have happened. Moving off to take a seat at a table, it didn't matter to her if people were sitting at the table trying to be loners or not, she listened to what information Shiina had and then the client... She would be lying if she said it didn't bother her in the slightest, if it was such a big job that it required a large group of them like this then it had to be dangerous. After all if it only needed a group of normal chasers they should have asked only her!

Just before Eiko's Vampire cohort could speak that Oni arrived and began being boisterous before Shiina could actually speak, and it caused Eiko to get angry and yell at her." Shut it will you, don't you have the slightest bit of manners when you enter an establishment ?" Eiko asked pointing to the Oni sounding angered by her presence and how she was acting, Eiko glared at the Oni before walking to her side and pulling her to a table to sit down and be quiet as she let Shiina explain what needed to be done and what was going on

Eiko sat down in front of Yuudai and looked at Shiina as she explained that they needed a big group for what was going down and what was happening, Eiko on the other hand had her attention focused on Yuudai." You gotta learn to be more courteous towards others Yuudai, you can't just come in yelling and think it's okay take in the signs of your environment and try to learn to adapt to it, instead of being as loud as a drunk rhino in a china shop. You understand What I'm trying to tell you ?" Eiko asked her feeling annoyed with the boisterous Oni.

Makoto wandered along the street, illuminated by the street lamps above in the evening light. Though it wasn't eerily dark, Makoto preferred the light since it gave him a full view of the streets as opposed to the darkness where anything could be lurking. After years of training with his father, he'd learnt to be wary of most things, real or not.

He'd not long since received word to attend a meeting at the Dangeki Cosplay Café Club. Normally, he would have turned it down due to just the name of the business, but the message seemed urgent, and he felt obliged to attend. He hadn't been invited to anything recently, and thought he'd make the most of it instead of being cooped up at home.

Upon arriving at the establishment, Makoto saw the sign that informed him he'd got to the right place. He grimaced, but forced himself to open the door, expecting a bunch of costume clad people. Instead, he was met by a large group of normal-clothed people. Some a bit more eccentric than others, but that didn't bother him as much as dressing up.

Makoto realised they'd already began their meeting almost as soon as he was across the threshold, so he slowly and quietly closed the door behind him and slid into the back of the group, attempting to stay out of the line of sight of whoever was at the head and just listened to what they had to say for the most part.

Tomori

It was yet another delightfull evening. The cosplay cafe was slowly filling up with the regular faces and new ones that were never seen before. Tomori welcome the new guests that came in every now and then but remained attending the other customers that were already seated. Her face was as small and cute as ever yet she didn't use this charm much by the customers. She was told multiple times that if she smiled the customers would be happier and have a postive vibe about this cafe. Tomori still didn't understand why something so simple make a change to how they see her and remained working with the same expression day in, day out.

Tomori her clothes were nothing out of ordinary today. If clothes weren't appointed to her she would just wear a simple everyday clothes. A long skirted waitress outfit with a dark purple skirt a white blouse with a litht blue blazer on top and a dark blue ribbon around her neck and possibly some small things what the customers would possibly like. Today she also wore cat ears and a cat tail, the same color as her hair.

She ran around the cafe taking orders and serving them to the people. This had become everyday life since a year ago. After finally having being adapted to human life she was able to get a job that would suit her. She was always serious about her work and did the best she could to make the customers happy. She greeted the large group of people that streamed in one by one for the group quest, giving them all a polite bow and quickly went back to serving tables. She went up to the person that had just arrive and lightly tapped onto his arm to get his attention and softly spoke as for not to distrube shiina "Would you prefer something to drink sir?...nya." As soon as Tomori got in her role she would stay in that role for the time she had the costume on but, her monotone voice together with how deep she is in her role it just sounds a little bit too serious. She waited for Makoto to place his order and gave a nod to whatever he would have said to her.

Tomori quickly ran off again towards the kitchen and came back with a filled waitress board filled with drinks and food. She placed them down on the tables were people had order them and came across a shaddy person. She placed the water down for the mister at the table "Thank you for the wait nya..." She curiously stared at Rui-ling before saying any more "Is something the matter sir? Nya..." She had been hearing the continuos tapping of the mister forn quite a while now and wondered if something was up.

Cinwi shot both Shiina and Tsuyoshi an incredulous scowl, though her face was, infuriatingly enough, not the best at conveying anger to its fullest nature. Still, a scowl was a scowl, and if the look wasn't enough, the heat in her cheeks and the flicker in her eyes would get the message across: they had poked the dragon.

"I'm not new you shithea--hey!" she spat, hopping off of her seat and scuttling after Tsuyoshi. "I know what the fucking board is, meatbag.

This was true for the most part, the idea of a mission board wasn't exactly a riddle. But while some of the Youkai Cinwi had scrapped with before might have been related to these missions, the girl had never properly come and accepted a contract. The ranks were odd to her, and she couldn't justify spending time on the lower ones. The weak threats would sort themselves out, and the havoc they might cause would be inconsequential compared to what the bigger targets might do.

Then again, humans were strange, and their empathy for each other tended to overpower their care for themselves. It was part of the reason she was fairly sure they wouldn't be around nearly as long as the Youkai. No, wait, no bad Cinwi, it's fine to be angry with them but no more of the Youkai supremacy, dammit.

Her attention turned back to Shiina as she began to tell them of the more drastic mission that might require their combined efforts. A sharp grin split Cinwi's maw, and with a dismissive wave to Tsuyoshi she started back to the front. "Yeah yeah, thanks guy. Don't get roasted or nothin'."

Mia and the Rook.

"'scuse me, coming through~!"

A soft, sing-song voice announced the presence of another female chaser, this one a taller woman in a tracksuit jacket and shorts that were a tad too small for her. She pushed through the glass door, and was about to take another step inside before she paused, turned, and caught the movement of what appeared to be a walking pillar of shiny blue canvas.

The young woman, a bit too old to be called a girl anymore, leaned of the entryway once again and gave double thumbs up to the colossal tarp that clearly wanted to follow her inside, even if it had to destroy the entrance to do so.. After a few more seconds, whatever was hidden inside relented slightly, and settled with unnatural stillness next to the doorway to loom threateningly over the patrons of the establishment as they came and left. Seemingly satisfied with that, the woman took her place behind the rest of the chasers, trying to look like she was listening attentively. She barely caught the last of the vampire girl's speech, and stood as awkwardly as possible as she tried in vain to spot the young master and mistress the other woman had been talking about.

Rui-Ling perked up as Shiina, that vampire maid who brings all the weirdos to the café, began to introduce what sounded like a special mission, one that apparently needed more firepower than only a couple of Chasers could offer. Interesting. It definitely caught his attention, as well as the attention of many others in the room. The flame-haired Miss Chikage appeared to be a little slow on the uptake, however, so after a few moments of waiting, the young immortal grunted in a dissatisfied manner, before tapping away again. Those young’uns, thinking that, just because they’re young, they have all the time in the world. He probably shouldn’t be complaining about time when he was an immortal, but still…these kids really needed to hurry the hell up.

Hell, that middle schooler mission-offering brat took so long that one of the waitresses of the Dangeki Cosplay Café took his impatience as him actually wanting to order something, and hopped on over. The white-haired girl, with her cat ears and tail, was a relatively new face in the café. He recalled seeing her first…what, a year or so ago? Something like that. With a frozen expression and a cosplay outfit that got on his nerves (because sex with a catgirl was pretty much bestiality and he had no idea why people were into that sort of stuff), Rui-Ling crossed his arms.

“Here’s a question. Why’s a young one like you working here anyways? I get that you probably need money for whatever asinine consumer product commercials are pushing onto to you now, but a night shift in a cosplay café is really damn sketchy. Could do better washing dishes or being a convenience store shift-slave.”

Hell, with that height and that face, she looked like she hadn’t even graduated from Elementary School yet. So really, what the hell was Shiina doing? Unless that was the plan, and Dangeki Cosplay Café were going to cater to pedophiles from now on.

Then again, the only reason he cared this much in the first place was because he wanted to kick some shit up to pass some time.

Hopefully this girl had an entertaining response.

A knife would find itself embedded into Rui-Ling’s table as Shiina glared at the immortal man. While he was a regular customer to her services and she greatly appreciated his time here, she would not tolerate the interrogating he was doing to her employees. She gave him a knowing look, reminding him that Tomori’s reasons for working here were none of his business.

It seemed that old age didn’t necessarily grant wisdom after all. But with that encounter taken care of, Shiina turned to face someone else that seemed to cause trouble tonight. The vampire stifled a sigh as Cinwi proudly announced her part in the coming mission. Well at least she was enthusiastic.

Glancing around her café, she noted the increase in people that had suddenly arrived, no doubt in the middle of her speech. With Chikage’s cohorts taking their sweet old time telling them the message that was supposed to be dire, the vampire zipped about to do what she did best. Filling out orders and being the perfect, elegant maid she was.

Sheridan Black

Sheridan looked out on the heart of the city from her top floor apartment, still finding something awe inspiring about the fact that there were as many people in this one city than had lived in the entire country that she had grown up in. A familiar sound caught her attention, a sound that meant that there was work needing to be done. Reluctantly she turned away from the view and strode to the elevator that took her down to the basement garage.

Soon after Sheridan climbed out of her black sports car and entered the Dangeki Cosplay Café, an establishment that nobody of her financial means should ever be caught in. Aside from this there was also the fact that she didn't eat or drink and had no reason to be here. Grabbing a black tactical styled backpack from behind the drivers seat, she closed the car door and entered the coffee shop.

Rosa's smile started to shine a bit less as the girl didn't answer. Though she did notice the girl looking at the stage. "If you don't want to play for me that's fine, I can always find another guitarist." Rosa said feeling a bit uncomfortable around the girl. "A-anyways, do you know why we were called here?" Rosa asked trying to get the girl to speak. Rosa always seemed to get flustered in conversations when the other patron didn't even talk to her.

Rosa's foot was tapping on the ground as a sort of nervous tick, she really didn't want to seem like someone who was rude or anything. She looked around the Cafe hoping that someone would but into the conversation and help her out. It was a bit scary to sit there with this girl just staring at her. A sweat could be seen coming down Rosa's face as she stared this girl right in the face.
