"...If he says to run...run..." Diamond says, actually picking up Micheal, slinging him over her shoulder, as she rushes by Rex, who is being helped by 4 or so Clones soldiers. Or so, due to one of them missing both of their arms, due to Mithias. Quickly, they hobble/ are carried to a near by house, one that oddly looks present day, as another clone ship like the first arrives, Rex being loaded in first. Second, the wounded Solders are helped aboard, and then Diamond, Micheal, and the normal soldiers are loaded in.
"....I've never seen Lucien so nettled before...." Diamond says, almost worried, as the ship starts to take off.

"Nettled, hm? I'll have to take your word for it. Despite that, this Lucien fellow seems like he'll be able to stand his ground. The question is how long can last, really. Then again, that's the question most soldiers are faced with on the battlefield..." Michael rambles slightly before assessing his surroundings, some of the clone soldiers and Rex seeming lucky that they had survived the damage they had been dealt. It'd only be a matter of time before he'd have to step into the ring himself and give it his all...

Kiyoki simply smiled, knowing that these fools were but putty in his hands. Had he wished to, he could kill them all. But it was far more efficient to turn them to useful tools for the cause. This beast was too large to be slain by strength, and cunning would have to be the tool of it's destruction. Good thing cunning was Kiyoki's field of practise. "Angel, you will place my wards in the air around the creature, and you will imbue them with your power. The charms were designed to amplify the influence of Iomedea in this realm, effectively allowing her to temporarily tap into the Emperor's Worship." He in no way explained how he knew what deity Eclipse served, nor how he knew enough about her influence to be able to manipulate it such. He simply handed him a thick wad of inscribed paper charms, and Eclipse could feel the magic woven into them. However, Eclipse had reached a fairly important conclusion. He had found the manipulating influence in this place, and he realized that the man in front of him stood at the centre of all the events of this world. That this singular figure might be the most dangerous man in this entire realm.

"Albert, Blargh, you will work to gather and distribute the various barrels of sake that have been moved to pre-arranged sites throughout the city. You will gather these barrels in a sight of the coast, where the wards Eclipse is currently placing will hide them." If Eclipse had chosen to stick around to ask some form of question, Kiyoki would at this point give him a meaningful glance. The message was clear: the longer he stayed the more casualties there would be. "I would recommend you attempt to imbue these casks with Shadow Magic. Whilst not objectively evil, it's close enough to do the trick. As the sake is liquid, I'm sure it will act as an excellent temporary receptacle for your powers." He briefly glances at Albert. "And do try not to freeze the stuff."

Of course, Kiyoki was well aware that Blargh was not motivated by morality. The creature was a Murloc, after all. As such, he simply sent the Murloc the mental suggestion of his actions being rewarded with large amounts of gold. Gold and food seemed to be the only things capable of motivating Murlocs, together with their strange religions. Of course Blargh was still fully free not to participate, his actions were not a necessary part of the plan. They would simply further improve upon it.

An energy blast struck the titanic warrior from the side, and yet he hardly moved. Not simply his weight held him still, although he did clock in at an impressive 2 tons, but rather the wards in his armour flared to life. The magical energy was guided around him, fragmented and weakened in it's force. Repeated blasts struck him, but he gave no ground to the repeated assault. And as he looked up at the heretic, he realized that both of them had come to the same conclusion. This was not an attack, this was not a strategy. This was an act of desperation, the last acts of a warrior. These were his final thoughts, embodied by his actions, attempting to protect those ideals he had taken to heart with his body. And both knew how that would end.

The massive two-handed hammer dropped down, held close to the head with the right hand. Given the choice, Valentus might have chosen to honour this warrior, by sending him off with the Imperium's greatest weapon. But he was a warrior above all, and a pragmatic one. As such, he simply raised his left arm, the Storm Bolter whirring to life. Double barrels spun up rapidly, as a pair of Bolts were loaded into the chambers. Another blast struck the warrior, another centimetre pushed backwards. Valentus compensated, breathed out. And then he fired, two rounds launching themselves in rapid succession.

The time between the firing and the impact was too small to perceive, negligible. It seemed almost instant, the first round tearing it's way through his stomach. The second round following less than a millisecond later, smashing through his body slightly higher. The two waves of force rippled through his body, cracking bone and tearing tissue. Every vital organ was crushed, as his nervous system received immense damage. He stumbled backwards, blood exploding from his every orifice, liquefied organs leaking from the wounds. Behind him, the rounds exploded into some far-off wall.

No job was half-done. And any opponent capable of firing such repeated bursts of energy was worth dealing with. Permanently. Soon after firing the terminator thrust out his empty hand at Lucien. Then he clenched his fist. The effects were immediate, immense telekinetic force pressing in on Lucien from all sides. Bones cracked, blood spurted, and all features were reduced to unrecognizability, even as the walking dead man was turned into an orb of flesh roughly the size of a football. When Valentus released his hold, a small pile of crushed gore formed on the ground.

Lucien was very, very dead. If I had to invent a word for how dead he was, it would be corpsetacular.

Sighing with the loss of power, and once more visibly sagging, Valentus turned towards the vampire that had flung himself into him. His infrared vision revealed that this individual lacked any heat signature. Clearly he was faced with an android, one of the Iron Men that had been banned in the Imperium of Man. He had stepped from the Warp into yet another realm of heresy, and once more he alone stood to fight his way through it. Perhaps his destiny had never been one of unification. Perhaps his fate remained unchanged, to die atop a mountain forged from the bodies of the heretics. All that had changed was the location.

"Another abomination enters the sight of the Emperor's Hammer." Valentus gripped his Daemonhammer with two hands once more as he swung towards the undoubtedly confused vampire, the weapon of mass destruction aiming to obliterate him completely. It would take only a single hit to completely annihilate him from this world, and to further add to the metalic titan's body count. He was tiring, but it would take far more than this to take him down.

@thewizardguyAnd with the swing of the Terminator's hammer another portal opens and from it comes the cold sound of metallic death. From the portal steps out what appears to be a metal skeleton wearing a cloak, and with it comes more skeletons but these ones are carrying shields and scythes. The cloaked one just points at the Terminator, and the shield bearers form a wall in front of him."Kill him." A cold metallic voice whispers, and yet everyone hears it.

As Mithias was staggering from the repeated blasts, the giant metal thing behind him moved. He could see as it raised a weapon and fired into the nettled warrior. The vampire was of course familiar with guns, and he knew this one was powerful. The only thing he could really do in that moment was to watch as the massive armored robot gutted Lucian with two shots. Then finally, the damn energy blasts came to an end.

Mithias thought it was over. Lucian would die from those wounds, and quickly, but Valentus' suddenly ensured Lucian's death with a shocking and sickening overkill that Mithias recognized was a powerful use of telekinesis. Gasping in horror, Mithias clutched his shoulder and started backing away from what looked like a giant knight robot covered with some kind of shitty forcefield shields.

The vampire stared with open mouth at Valentus. He saw the paladin target him and raise its weapon, calling him an abomination and saying something about some asshole emperor. He had to move. Thankfully the hammer was relatively slow compared to his own gift of speed. Mithias darted, rolling back up onto his feet a bit further away, completely expecting to die by some combination of TK and hammer. A few other strange beings were in the area, but none looked helpful. He had no idea how he was going to escape something with those kind of powers.

Then, a portal opened, releasing a number of very odd metal skeletal beings. They seemed to focus immediately on the hammer-knight and ignore everyone else. This was fortunate, a fantastic distraction. Mithias would learn what sides were fighting and why by watching. He just had to get the heat off himself.

Eclipse accepted the bunch of charms in his open hand, all the while standing strong and proud before Kiyoki, respecting him as an equal, yet showing no deference. The moment he touched the wad of charms, he felt the power in them and recognized it. It was the same magic that he had felt before, flowing through everything, tainting this place like a giant spider's web. Kiyoki had his hand in everything in this realm. He was the source of the illusory sinister force. Fortunately, Eclipse knew that Kiyoki was sincere about his wards. He wanted the hydra stopped as much as anyone else or more, and these wards weren't some kind of a trap for Eclipse and the outsiders. Somehow knowing the customs, Eclipse bowed and spread his wings before vanishing into thin air.

There wasn't time to explain. Eclipse would do just as instructed, just as promised, however, there would be one little change. It wouldn't be Iomedae channeling the Emperor's worship. Being a lesser god himself, and being physically and spiritually present, Eclipse would provide a much better choice as a focus for all that power. He would call upon his matron goddess for aid, but he would be doing the work.

Very quickly, he flew in blinks to even points around Yamato and set the magical wards of paper. They floated obediently in the air where they were placed. Eclipse would fight to bring this titan down, but afterward, he would need to confront Kiyoki about the hidden truth.

@Wraithblade6@thewizardguyAlbert reluctantly finds then carries the barrels to where he was instructed to place them. Setting them in the soft sand Albert looks up from his task to notice that Blarg is still sitting next to Kiyoki. In Blarg's native tongue Albert shouts at him asking what he was doing, and all Blarg did was wave.

Now Blarg is creature that does what he wants when he wants and when your six feet tall and dark purple not many people wanna mess with you. So Blarg being Blarg decided that he would do a little dance, but before this he decided to show Kiyoki that his magic was different than what would have been expected. And so Blarg gathers up his energy and shoots a bolt of his Shadow Lighting at Kiyoki and all that it does is blast his shadow which 'kills' it, Kiyoki's shadow disappears momentarily and then returns to its original position.

Eclipse flies around the battle, avoiding the titanic blows being exchanged as the Hydra fought it's way to land. Liters of blood poured from it's wounds, turning the ocean around it red. And yet it fought on, the waterfalls of blood mere cuts to the titanic creature, the tornadoes that tore into it mere annoyances. And despite the weather the wards simply remained where they were placed, floating in mid air. And even as he placed them, he could feel his spirit connecting to each of them. He left his 'fingerprints', and the more he placed, the weaker he placed. As if his very being were being stretched out. Such a thing would be impossibly without his consent, of course, and it was only his continuing good will that allowed the spell to work. Clearly he would be used to power this spell, a disposable battery of divine energy to be used and thrown away. And yet, despite this knowledge, there was little he could do about it. He was trapped, like a mouse in a mouse trap, unable to stop as he marched towards his fate.

Albert found himself in a similar situation. He used his superhuman strength to move large boxes of barrels, enough sake to get an army drunk, working tirelessly and endlessly. He saw large creatures working by his side, superhuman giant red demons lifting carts of rice wine to be added to the pile. And within a matter of minutes the pile was the size of a large building, within an hour it was reaching the lip of the palace wall itself. An immense collection of rice wine, the cheese in the trap. And even as Albert had worked he had known he was being exhausted for a purpose, that after such continued and thankless work he would be able to offer little resistance to Kiyoki. But there were few options, he was merely a gear in the greater plan.

Kiyoki simply smiled, as he marched up the steps to the top of the walls. The crowd on top parted before him, seeking reassurance in his presence. Kiyoki could feel their hopes placed in him, and he could feel their lives in his hands. He knew that everything depended on him, that he held all the ropes. That even as these little gears stared at him so expectantly, he, he puppet master, would use them all to perform his grandest trick yet.

As Blarg marched up, and gathered his magic to perform his harmless trick, he found himself suddenly in pain. A cut seemed to materialize across his chest even as he jumped backwards. For where previously had been but a shadow now stood a tall, dark figure. Silently, the undead assassin beheld the creature that had so blatantly attempted to cast a spell near his master. It was his blade that had left it's crimson trail across the murloc's chest, and it was his blade that would soon take the creature's life. Shiro dashed forward, blade flashing towards Blarg's neck, as he sought to end this as soon as possible.

Above, Kiyoki raised his hands. Well aware, and well smug, of the events occurring behind him. He grinned, as he could feel the power of an empire tingling at the tips of his fingers. When he spoke, his voice was like the crack of thunder, it's mere force seeming to part the black clouds above. "Yamato no Orochi. You have defeated us all. Accept our offering." Smiling brightly, he flicked his hands as power ran through his many charms. The illusion was lifted, and the pile of sake barrels was revealed. Truly, the giant serpent was powerful. But it was greedy, and it's greed had been it's downfall once before.

And, surely enough, one of the creature's immense heads rushed forward to devour the rice wine. With no resistance showing it gladly devoured the supposed offering, no doubt secure in the knowledge that it would enact it's vengeance with sated thirst. Little did it know, of course, that the wine had been enchanted the day before. And little did he know of the trap that closed down around him.

"Yamato no Orochi, enjoy the wine. For it will be the last gift of this land you will taste." Smiling, Kiyoki sprung the trap. And the very air seemed to burn, as each of the wards lit up brightly. White light surrounded the creature, as it raised it's head. The people cheered, seeing their hero enact his plan. And in that moment, Kiyoki's true power became apparent. The mage raised his hand, and eight immense shackles appeared around the creature's neck. Divine white chains held it down, pulling it to the ground as it screamed and struggled. The very ground shook with it's efforts as it roared in defiance, and yet the chains did not give way. "Feel the wrath of the Gods of this land, fouls serpent. I banish you."

And with those words, Eclipse burned. He could feel energy pouring through his body, as Kiyoki channeled through him the faith and life energy of every single man and woman in the entire Eastern Empire. Absolute faith, absolute devotion. Focused through him like a laser beam through a lens, formed by the web of spiritual energy he himself had placed. And even as this power burned it's way through him he could feel his own power leaving him, pulled from him involuntarily, dragged along with the stream. Fire enveloped him, as he could feel agony tear at his body. And yet, his torment was but a spark next to the main focus of the spell.

Divine energy seemed to surround and infuse the immense hydra. It thrashed and screamed, the ground tearing and shaking. It felt as if the very sky would be torn down by the violence, as waves higher than houses smashed into the harbour walls. Kiyoki simply waved his finger, as if he were orchestrating a piece of music. Symbols and runes burned in the sky, a merging of the power of the Onmyoudo, drawing from the sheer divine energy of Gods. A spell of unlimited potential, a true piece of arcane art. And as Kiyoki finished his incantations and movements, the very sky turned black. Runes burned their way across the serpent's body, and with one last scream, it became silent. It's body seemed to ripple, a wave of energy making it's way across it's scales. And even as the sun struck it once more, Yamato no Orochi's fate was clear to all.

Where once had stood a titan of flesh and bone, now stood a collosal statue. An eternal monument to the power of the Dragon Emperor, a symbol of Kiyoki's conquest.

Next, the fates of those gears that had played their parts in Kiyoki's plan would be decided. Eclipse was torn from the sky, his very being burnt to a crisp, on the cusp of death. Albert was exchausted, but very much alive. And Blarg was engaged in mortal combat with the deadly but silent assassin, Shiro. With their plan of revenge, they had worked their way precisely into Kiyoki's plans, and it seemed like they would now pay the price. The one man who remained both free and unfettered was King, but he could have gone anywhere in the time it took to perform the ritual.

@thewizardguyBlarg cared not that Shiro was in front of him. He was pissed that his plan didn't work and he was pissed that Kiyoki was still standing and perfectly healthy. Even in Blarg's tiny mind the amount of power used by Kiyoki should have left him drained and worn out but there he was perfectly fine, and to the shock of everyone in hearing distance Blarg shouts,"YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO THAT KIND OF POWER!" To his own surprise he had yelled that in perfect Japanese, filled with a greater determination then he had ever felt Blarg ripped two spikes from his arms wielding them like dual daggers he summons his shadow clone and together they charge Kiyoki although his attack would be futile Blarg didn't care any more he was determined to at least wound Kiyoki just enough to scar him.

The murloc dashes forward, propelled by pure rage. Drawing twin daggers it seemed to completely ignore the threat of Shiro's blade, making it's way straight towards the stairs to Kiyoki. To Shiro the movement seemed to happen in slow motion. He could feel every breath, every heartbeat, every muscle as it moved. He knew exactly where Blarg was going, and he knew exactly how long it would take. It was a sense far superior to light-based vision. And as he moved, he felt some small part of him wondering. Had he left his humanity behind, when he had chosen to become an agent of death? Was he more than human, or less? Had he truly ascended to a superior being, as Kiyoki had assured him he would? Or was he merely a glorified blade, devoid of human emotion?

In the end, of course, it didn't matter. Human or demon, he served a single purpose, and a single master. And that master was the Emperor.

Steel moved through flesh like a knife through butter. An inhuman screech was instantly drowned out by the cheers from above. Blarg crashed to the floor, and, moments later, he was joined by his right leg. The limb had been separated in a single, smooth motion. With almost surgical precision, Shiro had anticipated and countered his movements. And yet, it seemed he had shown mercy. For instead of striking for the head, he had chosen to sever a limb. Shiro sighed, as the shadow clones dissipated around him, the spell broken by the sensation of agony. He could never have been fooled by such a silly trick, and he was not an obstacle to be underestimated. He held his blade to the creature's neck, and looked for some sign of intelligence. Of fear, recognition that it's life now hung from a single thread, that it's rage had cost it everything.

Shiro was moments from murder, and it would take a small miracle to stop him. If nothing was done, and nobody intervened, Blarg's life would be forfeit.

@thewizardguyWith his final breath Blarg looks at Shiro,"You do know that the man who made you that man over there is using you, your nothing but a tool for him to use, I'm more human than you are, but him he's less than you when it comes to humanity. He is pure evil." And with this his final words Blarg spits at Shiro's feet."Go ahead kill me it'll be a mercy killing, you'll be doing me a favor."

The pages were placed and a rush of energy fed into Eclipse as he hovered above Yamato in the sky. He began channelling the power with his will. He could feel it burning him, threatening to tear his form apart if he dare doubt his divinity, but for those moments, fuelled with the hopes and prayers of the people below, he also felt what it was like to be fully a god, eternal and unlimited, the epitome of existance. It was exstacy, despite the burning pain, and it would no doubt destroy him.

In the fire of Kiyoki's massive spell, Eclipse reached a hand up above himself as he had done countless times in ages past. He could feel the hopes, the fears, the bravery, and the love of the many lives waiting in the hydra's path, and he knew he would give anything not to fail them. He had to hold himself together until the spell was finished, and he knew one being in all the universes that would lead him aid. "Holy Iomedae, I call upon your aid once again, as your ally, as your son. For the sake of the innocent, reach your power through the realms and strengthen my weaker form to sustain this surge until the end." It was a pact between two deities of good. She heard him, and she answered.

The sight above the collossal monster was magnifacent. Above Yamato was a brilliant angel, glowing massively with a humongous aura of light and holiness. Six sets of light-wings stretched out so far that they became one with astral streaks in the distant horizon, bending around the dome of the sky like some sort of space anomaly. Eclipse's protective sphere had grown large and radiated off its surface, such that looking directly at it made it look like a perfectly white ring of light. It was his symbol, the eclipse. Everyone, all the people, and all the emperor's warriors, were able to see it, a symbol of justice and honor, of hope and self sacrifice, and all would feel the swelling of inspiration from a god they had never yet known who was fighting for them. The image of the ring-sphere of Eclipse gave promise to reward their devotion and prayers.

Iomedae was particularly intelligent among gods, nearly omnicient, but not completely so. She knew about Kiyoki and the situation eclipse had gotten himself in, and she knew there were limits on how much it was "right" for her to give. As the hydra began turning to stone she had to sadly withdraw her presence. "I'm sorry my son, but this is all the aid that I can justly give you." Only Eclipse heard her sonorous voice, smiling as he did so, and then the pain of his expense consumed him. He opened his mouth as if to scream, but no sound came out. The fire burned him again as he dropped from the sky. The light tht had dominated the sky like a noonday sun appeared to fold in on itself and give way to the surrounding darkness and stormclouds. The flames were killed by the wind in Eclipse's descent. His now very small looking body disappeared as if fell somewhere behind the massive hydra statue.

King was still on the wall, mouth agape.
"...they..turned..the hydra..to fucking stone........the shit...." King says, sorta sitting down, needing a moment to process WTF just happened. Seriously, the poor dwarf was at a loss for words, other than his first statement. He is going to sit there, and rethink his life, at least, until a red robed man appears, poofing in atop one of the heads of the hydra. This man, everyone could see his evil smile, his chaotic grin.
"HELLO LADIES AND GERMS, PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!" He roars out, across the lands, his voice like and explosion. Waving his staff, a beam of blue energy struck the falling demi-god angel thing, his burnt body being restored to full health. Eclipse could feel his lungs filled with air, the blood he'd lost magically being forced back into his veins, the tissues that were burnt to nothing, returned, full of life and energy. He did the same to Blarge, the murloc's leg regrowing, and, he feels..strange. Stronger, but only slightly. However, he may of seen something strange, as did Shiro. The leg that grew back, was not a natural Murloc leg, but rather, a leg of something like a T-Rex. It'd seem very out of place on the fishy-frog thing, to be sure.
"Now, for my second trick.....Watch, as I turn this giant stone hydra..." He declares, before tapping the Hydra with his staff, and, from that point spreading out, the mighty beast turns from stone, back to flesh. It was slow enough to let everyone see it, but not so slow as to allow a great deal of retaliation. A perfect sweet spot of "Oh shit" but no "Oh shit, kill that fuck". However, just as Yami finished being not stoned, the Hydra vanishes, appearing in a huge ocean, on a world nothing BUT ocean. "...So, how did everyone like that trick, eh?" Tiny asks, grinning evilly, as no doubt, those present would have a few choice words for him.

Wanting to analyze the strength of those he was about to retreat from, Michael decided to hold off on diplomacy for the time being and return to the battlefield. Turning to Rex and Diamond, he smirked underneath his hood, preparing himself for a quick drop from the ship, knowing that it had already began lifting itself from the ground. "Sorry you two, but I must leave you. Perhaps we'll cross paths again. For now, farewell!" With that being said, the tactician leaps off of the ship, landing on his feet with ease, being lucky enough to not have hurt himself from the impact.

With that out of the way, Michael gazes about the area, trying to see where his aid might be most beneficial. Setting his sights on the heavily armored soldier, through a brief analysis, he's able to tell that despite being slightly fatigued, he still has the will to continue to fight. However, the newly found presence of a metallic skeleton and his henchmen didn't seem to be particularly helpful, its intentions made clear rather quickly. There was also another man on the opposite side of the soldier, seeming to do the same thing Michael was doing, analyzing the situation. Therefore, in the tactician's eyes, he didn't pose as an immediate threat. So, after what seemed like only a minute had passed, Michael headed towards the direction of the metallic skeleton, closing in on it before going on the offensive, releasing a torrent of shadows from his mouth upon the horde of skeletons.

War was crazy. A ship full of troopers blasting lasers, followed by some insane energy shooting topless warrior, then some kind of a telekinetic humanoid car, two magic girls just blipping around, making it rain, then vanishing, and then living metal skeletons with weapons, and some dude shooting shadows out of his mouth. Mithias backed away, seemingly forgotten about as the fighting continued. Finally, he turned his back and began to walk away. Although given a watchful glance here and there by various beings, he wasn't making himself any kind of a threat. Whatever "side" he seemed to be on in this world couldn't be identified, so he was left alone in preference of more strategic targets. He was UFO, a nobody, a ghost, and as long as he had no stake in anything that happened, he was completely and truly free. Mithias glanced behind him briefly to make sure he wasn't going to be crushed into a football or shot through the back, then left. Nothing here interested him. There was nothing to gain by tangling with peon soldiers in some higher powers' war. The higher powers were far more worth his interest, but there was no way they would be found on the battlefield. Mithias began looking for a ship to steal or perhaps any surprisingly untouched really tall buildings.

The Hydra had vanished, and the waters began to recede. On a conveniently placed rectangular slab of stone, Eclipse rested, as if asleep. His white hair flowed down the side of the dark grey stone, shimmering wet with seawater. His wings were once again hidden, making him look merely human. Tiny's magic had restored him miraculously, yet he did not immediately awaken.

((Kay, officially moving on without Light and Stephanie now))
New enemies appeared from nothing, the foul Necron emerging from their twisted Webway. Valentus was not sufficiently well versed on the Necron to grasp the importance of this particular Necron Lord, but he recognized the threat his guard posed. And even as they charged him, he focused his full efforts on them. He fired his Storm Bolter at the advancing soldiers as they closed the distance, Bolter rounds slamming into their bodies, only to deal relatively little damage. It would take a more heavy-duty weapon to take down the Necron, and Valentus knew just what was required.

The first Wraith arrived next to Valentus, a massive creature of twisted necrodermis and scientific abomination. It's claws swung towards Valentus, the blades phasing through multiple dimensions in order to inflict maximum damage on a molecular level. They never struck their target, however, as Velentus struck downwards with the Daemonhammer. An explosive wave of force crushed it from above, pulverizing the circuitry and armour, even as the psychic shockwave further blew it apart. The second Wraith was luckier, using his ally's defeat to slice into Valentus' side, the high-powered claws managing to deal significant damage even to the Terminator Armour. The third attack was deflected, as two Bolter round blasted the creature sideways.

"Allow me to grant you the death you were denied, abomination." With those words Valentus dashed forward, propelling his immense bulk over the body of the slain Wraith towards the Necron Lord that controlled them all. If he could defeat the Harbinger of the Storm, the remaining Wraiths would be but minor threats. More importantly their computing and decision-making abilities would vastly decrease, making them far less of a threat to this civilized world. Even if it cost him his life, he would have to take down the Necron lord behind it all, to land just a single blow on it's metallic grey head.

A series of shadows seemed to smash into the side of the Wraiths as they sought to prevent Valentus' assault, to little effect. However, the presence of an ally on the battlefield was reassuring. The soldiers had either been cut down or fled, their backbone was vaslty inferior to that of the Guard. Even as Valentus pumped his muscles full of psychic energy, shooting forward at superhuman speed, he mused to himself how he would change that. Clearly they lacked the Emperor's guidance, and had merely fled the scene. Someone interested only in their own life is not worthy of the life of a soldier.

The hulk shot forward, hammer swinging, as he arrived in front of Immorteth. The Necron Lord found himself faced with the Paladin's full might, although he was now covered in small cuts and damages. And that full psychic might was bearing down on him with the force of a small intercontinental nuclear missile, great waves of force emanating from him.

@thewizardguy"Fool you leave yourself open." Imorteth just lifts his hand, and one of his Immortals steps in front of him to take the blow, then another two flank Valentus and slice at him with their scythes bringing them down on his arms, trying to cut his arms off.
