Sasha
@Silver Fox@yipeeXD@Lugubrious

Sasha smiled and reached up to give Karn a pat, shifting her hair so he didn't get any in his eyes or mouth, "Ah, sure a drink sounds good" She said, looking up at the sky, as it continued to darken, "We have the curfew to remember, so maybe somewhere close to the hotel?", looking to the others to see what they thought.

Michael

Michael squirmed and blushed when Prince ruffled his hair and pecked his cheek. and nodded, but still wished he could just help Gabriel. "And sometimes the bird falls to their death" He said softly, "Which is what I'm afraid will happen to gabriel" He gave a sigh, and nodded again. "Alright, I want to try and find Zephyr too, congratulate him on the battle" He still felt bad about missing the battle, and hope Zephyr wouldn't mind about it. He had seen the win, but...it wasn't the same

Master Jamie
@Brodz11711@burthstone

"hm. Maybe we can paint him white for a day" It wouldn't fool anyone for long, but it would give them some time. "If you find someone who is willing to help, then go with them. Dragon Fang is always willing to help us, but I suggest you don't take any of the high level magics or well known members of Dragon Fang, who will be missed and noticed" Jamie said, "If you need anything, you can ask for it, and we will get it"

Jamie looked to Lucas, "if Mithera is happy to take you, then that's fine. But Dragon Fang has been a valuable ally and reliably friends"

Mayt and Jarvis's Round up Finished

Jarvis gave a sigh, and said "Is there anywhere close to it that we can teleport to and cut the distance and time?" he asked, not expecting a reasonable answer, but he just wanted this over with. It had been a long day, and it didn't need to be any longer.

The thief shrugged, stopping for a moment, and looking back at Jarvis. "The train might be, like, thirty minutes closer. Besides that I can't think of anything besides a few oddly shaped rocks that I use as landmarks."

Jarvis gave a sigh, and motioned for the thief to continue, wishing they had access to a vehicle now. "lets go." he said, continue to walk, nudging the theif into motion, hoping that everything would be alright.

The thief shrugged and nodded, and soon enough they were on their way, Mayt motioning for him and Jarvis to hang just a bit back so they can talk without being heard, but keep the guy in sight at all times. "Well, this individual seems believable enough. How far are we going to trust him?"

Jarvis gave a heavy sigh, and said "Far enough to get us where we need. Not as far as letting him get away, or letting him go with us when we round the rest up" He said, watching the thief not willing to let him out of his sight.

"Alright, got it." He smirked a bit, and jogged to catch up with the thief and began talking with him about his past. Before the thieving and such. Not too much was to be gained from this, but it passed the time, and Jarvis was free to join.

--Later--

Hours later, they would come a to a rock outcropping, and the Thief would stop, holding his hand up. "The hideout is just around this rock and a good sixty feet. They're probably mostly asleep right now."

Jarvis gave anod, and looked toward where the thief said they would be. Taking out a lacrima, Jarvis said "you can either be imprisoned in the lacrima, or shut your mouth and stay here, and not do anything if you know what's good for you" he said to the theif "got it?"

The thief nodded, and sat down without a word, leaning backwards against the rocks and closing his eyes, letting Mayt and Jarvis go on without him. Mayt nodded, and headed around the rock without so much as a second's hesitation, making a be-line for the cave that was supposedly the hideout. Jarvis would likely be able to catch the shadows of a few people running back in to wake everyone up.

Jarvis moved smoothly, seeing the figures running about, and at once, he activated a lacrima, shadows snaking out to grab the watchers, as he followed after Mayt, another lacrima in his hands, ready to activate it, soon catching up with Mayt, he hissed out "Don't go in without a plan, damn it! You're worse then Jamie!"

Mayt turned around, holding his hands out as shouts of surprise echoed through the cave. "I did have a plan, it involved giving them a chance to surrender before I kick their asses," he grinned and turned back around, continuing to walk. Soon enough, the band of thieves had assembled at the mouth of their little hideout, and he stepped towards them, and spoke with a loud voice.

"Alright! I am Mayt Derrin Marris, S-Class Wizard of Phoenix Wing. I have come here to deliver an ultimatum that I think is far more lenient than what most anyone else would give." A couple gave skeptical looks, and most were brandishing weapons, but they believed him enough to not attack. "I promise amnesty to every single one of you who surrenders and have some kind of magic, provided they join a light guild. Those of you who don't have magic, I can't really do as much, but I can try to get you off with a little as possible. Those of you who are thieving for your families, I'll try to find some jobs they can do to stay fed and clothed. The last part goes whether or not you surrender, but the trying to get you a short sentence is not something I can do if you attack me. So, that's your choice. Surrender, get off with a probably shorter sentence, your families get provided for, and you don't get your ass kicked. Or get you ass kicked, your families get provided for, and you get a longer sentence." He grinned, crossing his arms, and discussion went through the ranks of the thieves, most of them looking fairly unsure. Mayt was sure one or two would still take their chances, but not many of them. What he was offering was a pretty damn good deal, or at least, he thought so.

Jarvis rubbed his hands over his face, weary and definitely thinking something was wrong here. Moot that Jarvis had spent much time with Mayt before, but something just seemed off, but he let Mayt take the led, wincing as he went off about giving them a chance. It wasn't up to them, but beyond that, Mayr couldn't make the decision without at least talking with him or Jamie. Sighing, it was too late to do anything so Jarvis would just have to make it work.

He stepped up beside Mayt, but didn't say anything watching them, and generally trying to look intimidating as he stared

The thieves looked unsure about Mayt's proposal, espescially with Jarvis standing right there as he was. One was brave enough to speak up. "And how do we know you'll do all you say you'll do." Mayt shrugged, and put his hands into his pockets.

"You don't, and I don't, but I'm going to do my best to do what I said. If I don't, well, my reputation's kind of shot, isn't it? So if I fail to deliver, at the very least everyone else will know not to trust me, neh? But as it stands, Johnny Law doesn't know your all faces, so I do have some wiggle room I can work in. Though, I'm not letting anyone who's committed murder off free under any circumstances, so keep that in mind while you all make your decisions. Preferably by dawn, since the police will be coming around at some point after that. So, you have my proposal, what's your counter one?" He smiled, and glanced over at Jarvis. The thieves clearly were split about the idea, some wanting to go and give themselves in and others wanting to try and beat Mayt up and get out. "Oh, I forgot to introduce my friend. This is Jarvis. He's basically Master Jamie's right hand man." The opposition would almost go silent, and Mayt would smile a little more, taking his hand out of his pocket and resting it on his sword, anticipating someone to try to run or someone to attack them.

Jarvis took that as his cue to step him, moving forward he said, "believe me when I say I would rather take you all down, but it will be quicker to settle this and have you all go free. My members words are true-Phoenix Wing will make sure all he has offered is upheld, of course if you do somehting to make us take that back, well...that's your own fault. You can chose now, or forfeit your choice and we will bring you in" He said, watching them all, anticipating a wrong move by any of them

After a long moment, one individual started to run, but was grabbed by a couple others and dragged back into line. Apparently a few people realized that they weren't going to get out of this by running or fighting. There was a bit more deliberation before, "Fine. We'll turn ourselves in," there was a soft underdone to his voice that suggested bad things if Mayt didn't hold up his end of his deal.

"Wonderful, grab whatever you want or need to take with." He'd turn as the thieves would start back into the cave. "Jarvis, think you can do any kind of mass teleportation thing? I think eighteen hours of walking would be a bit much, and I need a bit of sleep anyway."

Jarvis flinched as if to react when the guy started to run before being grabbed and stopped. He gave a sigh, and closed his eyes a moment, nodding at Mayts question about teleporting. "I can do that" he said taking out a large lacrima, and holding it out, glad to have this mess sorted out and wondering if everything else would be sorted just as easilt

Mayt nodded, and smiles before turning back to the group of thieves, clasping his hands. He'd then get them to separate out into families, followed by each group, which were mostly ones and twos, with one of seven, getting questioned thoroughly about their other family. After about the third person, Mayt would make Jarvis get him a Lacrima that he could record sound with before going back to question the rest. He'd find out everyone's Family name, how big of an immediate family, if they were supporting them, and so on and so forth. Overall, he'd find that very few of them were thieving just for the sake of being thieves.

Once he was done questioning everyone, he'd head back over to Jarvis, and the whole process would have taken most of an hour. "I don't think I'm going to get to see the games, so lat's take this lot to the authorities and drop me off at a hotel and I'll start helping their families out tomorrow. Or at least, helping the one's that'll let me help them." He turned and motioned that it would be okay for them to mingle again. "Dunno about the ones that aren't here right now though, so I can't help them sadly. But besides that, I think we're all good."

When Mayt had been chosen as an S class mage, Jarvis had been unsure, but hadn't said anything about Jamie's decision. Now..."You're a fine mage, Mayt." He checkd that Mayt had a communication lacrima and a teleportation lacrima, "The ones that aren't here...well they can either take the hint, or end up jailed" he said, looking back.

Mayt smirked a bit, and turned halfway back to the thieves. "Thanks, and let's get these guys to the nearest town and... Actually, I can afford to stop in crocus. Say hi to everyone, and gets a good night's sleep before I start my epic quest to get people jobs." He'd smirk, and give everyone a thumbs up, walking towards them.

Jarvis nodded, "Alright then, lets go" He said, more then happy now to use a teleportation lacrima just to get it over quick enough, and he took a mass one out, sending them all back to the nearest town in moments.

Once Jarvis teleported everyone to town, the police station was swamped with the thieves. Either having Mayt turn them in because they thought they could get off, and some turning themselves in. By the time Mayt was finished there it was well past midnight, and he looked exhausted. "Alright, if it's not too much trouble, I do want to say hi to everyone in Crocus and get a nice long sleep in." He stretched and yawned, smiling, and he'd look at the police station. "See? Not everyone who breaks the law is a bad person. Some just don't have a better choice... Also, you must be tired as hell Jarvis. You've been up since, what, yesterday morning? Is Jamie so reckless that you're used to not getting sleep?" The last part was clearly half joking, half pointing out he knew the two relied on each other quite heavily.

Jarvis wearily nodded, taking out another lacrima, wondering why it was always when he got a stock of them that things seemed to happen. He didn't dwell too much on that, instead saying "I've been up for longer before, and no doubt I'll be up longer still" Jarvis said, wanting to check that Amelia was alright, and that nothing else had happened since he had left. Somewhere along the line his anger had abated, and he supposed he should speak with Jamje as well. Without another word, Jarvis teleported them to crocus and the guild hotek

Mayt nodded, yawning and stretching some. "Alright, well." He said, taking off his glove over his guild mark. "Make sure you do get some sleep eventually though please." Mayt would say to Jarvis before going up and getting the key to his new room and coming back, looking about the main room. "What time is it?"

"late" Jarvis replied, after speaking with the manager, making sure there were no more problems. Despite one member being carried in, and other issues, nothing seemed too bad. For whochJarvis was greatful. "go and try to get some sleep. Everything's fine here, and dawn isn't too far off. No doubt Jamie will be banging on everyone's doors in a few hours@

Mayt smiled softly, and nodded at Jarvis's comment. "Alright, I guess I'll head off to bed. Sleep well Jarvis." he smiled at the older mage, and headed up the stairs to his room fairly quickly, though he'd try not to wake up everyone. When he got to his room, he'd unlock and open the door silently, closing it the same way. It would take him a moment to remove his belt and set it on the floor next to the bed, but he didn't worry about his clothes besides brushing some dirt and such off before climbing into the bed and lying on his back. By the time he got to sleep, the throw pillows had ended up on the floor, and his arm was resting against the edge of the bed in such a manner it would be easy for him to reach down and grab his sword.

He nodded. "A drink right now sounds heavenly. Well done Karn." He grinned. "Our team has a real shout at winning this thing." He had been keeping track of the scores as they updated. "But nothing is over yet. I'm sure we'll need to be at our best tomorrow!" He clenched his fist.

NOLAN

He hated to admit, but Damian was right. If he fought Kaitlyn as he was now he certainly wouldn't be able to participate in the games at the peak of his abilities, if at all if Kaitlyn decided to not hold back. Nolan gave Damian an irritated sigh and shoved his hands in his pockets. "And here I thought I was a killjoy. Fine, I'll hold off until the games are over, but my interest in fighting her still hasn't waned. He would've shut the door on them and gone back to sleep though Damian had something that piqued his interest as well. It seemed like Karn and himself weren't the only ones to awaken their Second Origin though with what method he didn't know. A natural awakening of the Second Origin was off the table if Damian had awoken his in a short frame of time. "Huh, you unlocked yours as well huh? I wonder who's stronger now; you or me?"

@Caits
FERRIS

"I would have to agree with you there Jess! It was an interesting spectacle that ended today's match on a high note! What will tomorrow hold is the question. We hope you all enjoyed today's match and that you have a goodnight!"
Ferris turned off his microphone and leaned back sighing in relief that it was all over today. "Heh, I don't know how you do it Jess. You never seem to tire out." He smirked at her and stood up from the bench. "So are we still good for tonight?"

@Lunarlors34@Zarkun@Lugubrious
LEVI

"I-I'm fine. Thankfully none of us got hurt..." The titan of a man looked down at the humanoid creatures and scowled at them. How could anyone turn people into weapons for fun? That's just sickening. "I-I'll bind them for now. They may try and escape if they get the chance." Black tendrils of energy appeared around his body and they soon traveled down his arm down towards the Arcanas. The tendrils wrapped around them, binding them so they couldn't make a threatening move.

Lucas Ryder: Hotel Room

Lucas listened to what the Master said and thought over his next move. He cracked his genuine smile and bent down a little to the dragon on the bed and in a soft and friendly tone spoke, "Hey, The Master has been quite worried about you. Don't be scared of me please." Lucas turned so his back was facing her and lifted his cape and shirt, revealing his Guild mark. Lowering his shirt and turning back to her, "That means we're family. And if you'd let me, I would like to help you with you're little adventure. now don't think about the dangers of me going, only a few know of my connection with Phoenix Wing. I'll get you there safe." He finished with a wink and a smile before raising his body back to his normal stance and waited for her reply.

Jessie smiled at Ferris, amused. "sugar works wonders on energy levels. And it's easy when it's just so damn exciting!" she said, making sure her mic was turned off, before standing, nodding "oh yeah! I'm still good for it" she glanced about them to make sure everything was were it should be, setting up the charm alarm she made herself in case someone thought it would be fun to mess up the booth, before looking back to Ferris.

Sasha smiled at Lazarus, "close is good. It would be boring if it wasn't close, really. Let's hope tomorrow is another good day" she said, wondering what the third day would be like."I hear the magic council is coming tomorrow, to show their new members"

master Jamie

Jamie stepped back as Lucas approached, looking outside, seeing how late it had gotten. It was nearing late night, and Jamie knew the curfew would be in effect soon. "I'll leave a communication Lacrima here, that way you can get in contact to tell me when you are leaving. I'll see about some supplies, and send them with Lucas if you are happy to have him. I'll also see about someone from Dragon fang, if you have any ideas who. I can talk with Jack, and see. I need to get back soon, make sure nothing else has happened and that everyone else is image"

"Good work." Cody remarked before kneeling down in front of the Emperor and staring straight into his eyes, almost as if he was boring into the Emperor's soul.
"I suppose you wouldn't know who this girl is would you?" He asked, gesturing with his head towards the girl who was previously a sword.
He looked over at Levi, then at James before then returning his focus onto the Emperor.
".....Pretty sure we need an explanation on what you guys are as well. And how you can do that." Cody added after a quick moment's thought, before turning to look at Levi and James again.
"I say we take them to....where were we going again?"

Karn

@Caits@YipeeXD

Karn purred as he relaxed from his position upon Sasha's shoulders, giving a contented mew as the ice-make user patted his head. When Lazarus told him well done, the draconic feline purred even louder. Happy that he could help and do good. For a moment there, he wasn't sure if he could win against Krystal. Her diamond made it hard for him since most of his attacks were physical base. He felt bad about the way it happened, he had hoped she would of dehydrated or passed out from heat. That was the plan anyway. Only other way he could think of is if he just tired her out. Which was his normal strategy but he was too low on energy to keep up for too long. He just hoped he can do a good job tomorrow as well.

As Sasha mentioned the Council, Karn gave a cheerful happy go lucky chirp. "Yay! More people to besties!" he chirped with a soft laugh.

Prince

@Caits
"But sometimes that's the only way. Otherwise, they'll slowly starve." Prince hummed, his eye glancing toward where he saw Karn thoughtfully, flicking up a Lacrima that was such a perfect orb and crystal blue. So clear and pure with a odd aura. He caught it again and it disappeared among his trickery sleeves and gave a cheerful smile. "Alright, let's go congragulate the silly head." he grinned, grabbing his teammate's hand and intertwining their fingers. Careful not to pierce skin with his claws before he started heading through the stands and back toward the Dragon Fang Hotel.

His ears pricked up at mention of the council. "New members?" He looked shifty, but was fine. "I hate new people with power. It does terrible things to people." He cracked his knuckles. "They think we wont send them to hell again?" He grumbled.

Jane Addeson|Grand Magic Games stadium

Jane wandered around the stadium, just getting a feel for how everything felt. The hilt for her special magic poked up over her shoulder, like it always does, as she inspected her surroundings for a moment. She found herself near the Phoenix Wing seating area and looked them over. Now let's see here, their S-Class wizards are Damian Gerard, who wears leather armor...nope, he's not here, Penny 'The Phoenix' Hoff, red head, blue eyes...also not here, and Mayt Marris, runs around with a sword...damn, none of them are here. Guess I'll- Her thought is cut short when she over hears one of their mages say something about the Council's new members. ""I hate new people with power. It does terrible things to people. They think we wont send them to hell again?"

This caused the young woman to shake her head and look the guy in the face. "Cool your jets, sparky. The Council can't operate with only three members, since your guild put a number of them out of commission when you attack their headquarters awhile back." When the trio looked at her, they'd find a a girl with white hair in a blue dress with a sword hilt poking over her shoulder but no blade to go with it. "Seriously, you guys like to go looking for trouble, don't you?"

Argus couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed at his ignorance on the subject of cooking, as could be seen by the light dusting of blush in his face as he had the concept of tea explained to him. He didn't say a word about it, though, simply getting a pot, filling it with water and setting it above the table. He'd then go about the tricky task of using his magic to heat the water while avoiding causing the destruction of the pot. He'd do this by causing an intense fire around the pit, being careful not to have it come in contact with the metal.

After about half an hour, the water would be ready and he'd pour water into the cups before putting the bag in. He'd watch as the water slowly but surely began to change to a deep brown coloration, and once Isla gave him the okay that it was ready, he'd carefully begin to drink it. Unlike his first foray into alcohol, he found this one much more pleasant, though he wasn't quite sure if it was for him yet. He's definitely be willing to try more of it, however, as the mixture of warmth and subtle flavor was rather calming.

Once the two were finished, it'd be time for his portrait, in which case Argus would turn to Isla for advice.

"So, what kind of pose should I do, and shoul I be doing anything while you do your thing?"

Sasha sighed softly, about to speak up when someone approached, speaking up. "Yes, we took some of them out, but it had to be done, unless you liked corrupted people in power. Masahiko pardoned us, and everything is okay now. Don't judge us, as you weren't there. We are allowed to be sceptile of new council members, and yes, we will take them down again if they are currupt. " She said, mildly annoyed at this intrusion, "We also don't go looking for trouble, it finds us. Who are you?"

it wasn't like they deliberately took down the magic council. And it did have to be done, Angelica and her cronies had to be taken down, or things would have been a million times worse.

Michael

Michael just nodded, watching as Prince pulled out the lacrima, throwing it up and then making it disappear. What was that lacrima? He didn't think he should ask, if Prince wanted to tell, he would. And he didn't have much chance, as Prince grabbed his hand, heading off. He scrambled to get up, and match his pace to Prince's.

"Thanks"

III - the Emperor
IV - the Empress

@zarkun@lunarlors34@hatakekuro@t2wave

Again, the Emperor groaned. His cuts and bruises did not, however preferred by the Phoenix Wing wizards it might have been, prohibit him from whining. “On our feet? You just smashed us flat, you poltroons! We're obviously too hurt to go anywhere. Leave us or carry us, we're plenty light. But please, take us to detainment or whatever. It's for the best, Jamie might blow a cap if he saw us again.” Gil laid his head back down, chuckling nervously. The blood from the dire gash in his side, judging by the lethargic rate of flow, was far more viscous than most blood and did not pump nearly as freely. For now, the wound dealt to him by James remained nonfatal.

The demands of Cody received an inarticulate grumble. “Uuugh. I just told you everything, whoa,” Gil jerked away when Levi's black tendrils began to wrap around Sadie and him, smushing them together. “How...indecent! She's not wearing anything, you know!” He looked doubtfully at Cody as he knelt behind him and attempted some sort of introspective glare, for the Emperor's pupil-devoid eyes were far more piercing. “No, just some toy.” As the defensive wizard continued, Gil gasped in indignation. “What...'us guys are'!? How racist could you be! I refuse to answer any more of your moronic questions!” Had his arms been free, Gil would have crossed them resolutely, but as it was he could only adopt a disdainful expression.

X - Wheel of Fortune
XIX - the Sun

@Burthstone

A javelin to the stomach, however blunted, still hurt a lot to an unarmored target. Lakota took a step back, her birdlike face clouded by anger. Her breathing, though she'd only been active a few seconds, was thick and raspy, as if she were sick or her throat afflicted by some disease. Whatever this condition was, it did not seem to deter her. This time, rather than letting Lockheart waste more time with flowery speech yet again, the Sun opted to speak for the both of them. “Talk is for the weak!” came her scornful, guttural utterance, “Hope you like tasting pavement, humans!”

She charged forward again, her size and bulk poised to ram into and through Mark and whatever shields he raised. Lockheart, meanwhile, shook her head, flicked her tentacles, and released a trio of orange lightning bolts toward Luna. I'll fry you in that armor, sweetie, she resolved.

VI - the Lovers
XII - the Hanged Man

@Invisible Man@Caits@liferusher

Solemn and uncaring as ever, the Lovers watched Gabriel's dragon turn its fiery glare on its master, and remarked, “Seems like your partner is far less well-behaved than mine. No matter how brave or strong two are, if they cannot work together, they are nothing but two. Naomi and I are bound in eternal love. We are the perfect pairing.” In what looked like reaction to Jann's words, the dragon contorted itself around to face the Mystic Beast and without warning barreled forward to attack. Despite the incoming fangs and crushing jaws, Jann wore a nonplussed face. “Poorly behaved indeed. How...”

Before he could get another word out, presumably the often-used 'sad', Jann was thrown along with Naomi by the incredible force of the dragon's attack. Both cried out in pain, and as they crumpled to the ground, something strange happened. The mingling of their screams caused a disturbance in the very air, and small anomalies began to seep in. If Gabriel glanced down, he'd notice the grass blowing every which way, including opposite the wind; if he looked around, he'd find distant objects and scenery growing blurry while nearby items started to float, ever so slightly. More than likely, however, his attention would remain on the Lovers, just now fighting to stand back up. With every exhale, the inside of Jann's mouth, ears, and nose glowed with a searing red light, and Naomi's own maws and eyes shined with the same scarlet luminescence, though for now the redness remained dim. Around Jann's body, the air shimmered as if in a heatwave, and the Lovers whispered in that eerie voice, “Why...why? Why do you hurt us? Do you enjoy suffering? Don't hit us again, we can't take much more...”

This time, Naomi burst forward, slithering along the ground like a scaled bolt of lightning toward Gabriel, and Jann, his features twisted with hurt and anger, followed on her tail.

Meanwhile, in the duel between Proteus and Thor, the Mystic Beast held the upper had. His opponent had yet to fully recover, and with a gleeful cackle Proteus prepared to lay upon her a debilitating curse. As the ethereal arclight danced around him, however, a small, radiant eruption took place behind him. Too intent on his cursing, the Hanged Man didn't notice Magni's presence until his blades bit into his back, prompting a strangled bellow of wrath from whatever organs lay beneath his helmet. Intent on paying the Antimage back for the dirty blow, Proteus pivoted around and cleaved at Magni with his longsword and all his might.

VIII - Justice
XVII - the Star

@zarkun

Of course Imani anticipated an attack—it was merely a matter of guessing which Jade Dragon art Hunter would throw out first. No shred of doubt could be found within the holder of the Justice card, for Imani now held a firm control over both the chakra of herself and of Hunter. Even as he attacked her, his own chakra would continue to burn within him, contesting with the magical energy running through his flesh and causing an acute, white-hot pain to distract, annoy, and eventually destroy him. A beam of brilliant viridian magic funneled Imani's way from the mouth of the Jade Dragon Slayer, but shaping her own chakra into a mesh of plate-sized interlocking rings served Imani well as a shield. Even so, the force of the Roar knocked the Mystic Beast back and took a chunk out of her chakra reserves.

Growling, she refocused on Hunter's next attack. More rings blocked his initial claw swipe, but the Dragon Fang wizard's subsequent barrage of attacks broke through the shredded barrier and reached Imani's body. She recoiled from the pain, jumping backward while Hunter wasted energy flipping, and checked herself for bruises as her opponent fortified himself. He would find no relief in that suit of armor from the pain of his own life essence going wrong, but against any chakra blasts Imani might conjure he'd be sitting pretty. After determining her limbs to be in workable condition, Justice's holder backed off. As tempting as it was to assert her might by creating a stalwart barrier and waiting for Hunter to drop, Imani's mission parameters dictated that doing so wasn't an option. Instead, she gave a derisive snort and licked her chops. “Surely you've got more than that...?”

Fleo Plector – Phoenix Wing Stands

@silver fox@Caits@YipeeXD

Fleo nodded her assent to Sasha's suggestion. Crossing her bandaged arms, she smiled, ”Good plan! I wasn't suggesting some crazy bash, but I'm up for a celebration if you all are! Way to go, Karn. I thought that that crystal girl had you for a few moments there, but you were toying with her the whole time! Ruthless and awesome. I bet any of you could floor someone like me in an instant.” Partially leading the way for her friends, Fleo joined the crowd trickling out of the Doma Flau now that the day's events for the Grand Magic Games had definitively concluded.

Karn || Phoenix Wing stands

@Caits@Zarkun@YipeeXD@Lugubrious

At Lazarus's words, the draconic feline pouted at him. "That's not very nice. Not everyone with power is bad. If that were true, then we'd be suspicious of everyone in the Guild. GM is super powerful. And whomever the next GM will be great as well." Karn chirped cheerfully before chuckling as Fleo congragulated him and he purred loudly. Glad for the praise.

"Yeah, it was pretty close. I only beat her cause she got caught off guard a little. And hey, don't worry. I bet you're pretty tough too! Bet with enough training you'll give any of us a difficult time and beat us in a spar. Maybe even Dammy! Or Fira!" he chirped encouragingly before his ears perked up at the sound of a woman and his green eyes turned toward her curiously. Ears twitching as Sasha spoke up, mildly annoyed with the woman it seemed. Karn however just flapped his wings to leap off her shoulder gingerly before landing on the stranger's head.

Looking down to look at the strange woman's face upside down. "Hello Lady! Nice to meet you! I'm Karn!" he chirped cheerfully, purring happily as his long tail flicked from side to side and his wings folded against his flanks.

Prince || Dragon Fang Hotel

@Caits

Glancing back toward the blue haired lad, the feline gave a cheery smile. "Anytime." he said in what seemed to be sincere before he once again seemed to go back to his usual self of flirting. "...And I'm moooooore than happy to keep you company in bed if you need help with that." he said innocently though he held a mischivious grin before he bursted through the hotel doors, earning a few off looks from some others but soon turned away. Somewhat used to the strange giant cat man.

"We have returned!" he cheered before glancing to Michael with a soft hum. "Mhmm want to try some drinking?" he purred with another mischievous grin.

Hunter Jorgenson|Streets of Crocus

Hunter growled quietly when that didn't work to ease the burning, but he was starting to get a feel for what she was going to do. Besides, he had a surprise for her. He held up a finger. "I wouldn't get so smug." In response, a series of jade spikes shoot up around and underneath the lion headed figure and he closes the distance again, this time using a Tail Swipe to try and knock her off her feet before aiming a Steel Fist towards her gut. Following that, he unleashes another Roar on her point blank before using a Jade Dragon's Blade, the extendable blade giving chase.

Jane Addeson|Grand Magic Games Stadium

Jane regarded the furry thing on her head with a raised eyebrow, but didn't think anything of it. She'd just watched him win a match after all. "Who I am is of little concern to you for the time being. What you should consider is I wasn't attacking your decision to attack the Council. Hell, I've my own reasons not to like them a whole lot. But I will criticize your view of anyone who ends up on the Council is scum. Treating everyone like that, well, your furry friend on my head here made a good point. You might as well distrust everyone you come across with magic." Reaching up, she picks Karn up and sets him on the railing. "Anyways, I wasn't planning on staying long, and since the games are done for the day, I'll be heading to my hotel. Catch ya later."

Turning, she walked away from the trio, heading for the exit and entering the tunnel and vanishing into the crowds. I hope they aren't ALL that paranoid about the Council. I mean, my parents have every right, but them? They got a friggin' pardon! Well, whatever, off to bed with me.

James Hunt|Streets of Crocus

James gently prodded Cody away and knealt down, passing a glowing hand over the pair before standing the knight up and putting the moth over his shoulder. "If you have a history with Master Jamie, then perhaps taking you to him is a good idea. He may be more willing to listen to you than anyone else. Of course, that's if his mood has improved since I last saw her." Indicating the direction they needed to go, he got everyone moving again. "So Artemis, what exactly are these rules you have to follow?"

Damian Gerard|Phoenix Wing Hotel

"I'm not saying you can't fight her later, I'm just saying that you should at least wait until after the games." He spotted Samir coming his way and stopped her a moment. "And for the record, you're the only one who agreed to keep things secret. I just gave my input."

gabriel
@lugubrious
"he's a dragon, of course he's misbehaved, but I trust my spirits with all my heart and soul." Gabriel shot back. As the dragon shot forward and attacked, Gabriel wasn't fooled by the display of 'hurt'. He wasn't going to be sucked into believing he could win this easily. He'd settled for just holding out for some of the others to return. The whole display just seemed...over the top. That didn't mean he was underestimating them.

"why? Because you seek to hurt my guild, and I won't allow that!" as the two attacked him, Gabriel didn't move, the dragon soaring back, and Naomi, as Gabriel shifted, Taking out Dog's key, and summoning the spirit. It took a bit, and for a fearful moment, Gabriel was afraid he wouldn't be able to.

And then dog formed, and Gabriel let out a relieved breath, and Dog leaped to intercept Jann, as Gabriel struggled to find any weapon he could use besides his own fists. Why hasn't he learned to fight with a weapon properly before now? Why had he only decided to do so now?

Sasha
@silver fox@yipeeXD
"not even one with power is bad, and Masahiko would have chosen good members, but we can still be skeptical." Sasha sighed, and rubbed her eyes, exhausted. How long was this day going to drag on? "Angelica taunted so many people, and they tried their best to kill us. If they're good, so be it. If they're bad, we will take them down again" it was as simple as that to her, right then."let's go, before the curfew is in effect"

michael

Michael flushed at Prince's comment, unsure of how to respond, wishing he wasn't such a clutz with words and such. Following Prince into the hotel when he burst in, Michael looked about to see who was around, not seeing Zephyr. He looked back to Prince when he said about drinking, "drinking? I wouldn't know what's good to drink or not"

Artemis

@Zarkun
Since whatever threat was quickly thwarted she relaxed and let her bow disappear. That was definitely not what she expected to happen. Were these two really so casual about turning people into weapons and yet that inept? Their words were odd though. It almost sounded sarcastic to her. Her train of thought was interrupted when James asked her a question. "Well, one of them is I need to keep an eye on Ariel. Somehow she's been able to make a few spirits, myself included. I have to be careful though. There is a chance she could harm me inadvertently."

Mithera -- Hotel Room
Mithera looked at Lucas, and made a nod softly, before looking over at Jamie as the Guild Master said he could get someone from Dragon Fang, and Mithera shook her head. "Uh, I'd rather go to Dragon Fang myself and ask directly... The less I seem to have to do with Phoenix Wing, the better. No offense. B-but, thanks for saying you'll talk to them. Oh, a-and when you head back, tell Karn h-he better be there when I get back this time!" She'd giggle softly, before looking back over at Lucas. "And... If you want to go Lucas, uhm, just hang out around Dragon Fang tomorrow I guess." She'd reach her head out towards him a little, then leaning back and looking at Dornae and everyone else who had helped in he rescue. "Oh... Right, I still owe you guys for saving my butt." She'd shake herself a little where she was standing, and murmur something about being cold too quietly to really hear.

@Caits@Brodz11711@Crimson Raven@Yoshua171

Mark Zerrit and Luna Cathris -- Crocus Streets
Mark smiled, shrugging. "Personally, I'm not much for pavement. Light Ice Make: Spear." A spear formed in his hands, and as Lakota ran towards him he'd drop to one knee, holding the spear out, and she'd impale herself on the weapon unless she could stop on a dime. Shifting his weight, as well as using the Mystic Beasts' remaining momentum, he'd lift her up and over him. Once she was above him, the spear would stop, and she'd continue on her arc until she crashed against the pavement hard. Smirking, Mark would then stand up and look back at the mystic beast, the spear in her stomach deforming, and he'd cross his arms. "Though, you do look quite taken with it."

Meanwhile, Luna would've put her weapon up in front of Stacy's electric attacks, but her armor and weapon wouldn't really do much, and Luna would grit her teeth and grunt as she felt the electricity coursing through her, and she'd fall to one knee for a moment. She'd sit there for a moment, blinking and regaining her composure. Once Luna recovered, she'd stand back up, and charge Stacy, hoping she wouldn't be able to get another attack off while she moved. Sliding to a stop in front of the mollusk-hatted woman, Luna turned he halberd around and stabbed with the blunt end at her stomach and then at her face.

The Strongest Wolf Slayer: Zayn Fade| November 12th X888 - Four Years Ago

Theme: Power

"Surely you have all heard of me! I'm the strongest mage to have ever lived. Even that punk Natsu couldn't touch me!" The boasting of this gut caught everyone in the bars attention. The tall skinny bastard stood atop a table like he was waiting for them to bow. The crowd murmured and distant whispering could be heard. The man quickly grew agitated and started his rant once again, "I am a rare group of slayers! We're called the.... uh... Liz- That's right The Lizard Slayers! A branch of Dragon Slayers but.. MORE POWERFUL!" The man finished this statement with a fist thrust through the air, again, no one cheered. "Alright you pieces of shit, you think I'm lying, then come and fight me!" Again, people kept drinking and people rolled their eyes, but one man charged at the speaker with intent to kill. The tall boasting man frantically reacted by muttering, "Poison Art: Fog." No one heard this instead heard his much louder shout afterwards, "Lizard Slayer: Ummm spray!?" A fog of murky green erupted from his moth and covered the oncoming attacker, concealing him from the others view. Nothing could be seen but the cries of pain and demise as he quickly regretted attacking. The fog cleared and the attackers body laid motionless and departed from this world. The victor laughed as the crowd gasped and shifted in directions in a subtle hurry to move. "My Name is Jake Ozzie, don't any of you little shits forget it!" He jumped down from his table and slowly started to head for the door.

The cracking sound of thunder echoed through the town and the lightning split the sky in half. Jake stepped out of the bar laughing at the display he showed in there. "You're so strong even the great Natsu couldn't touch you?" The slowly off sounding voice from behind Jake startled him that when he turned he almost fell backwards onto the dirt. Without fail Jake had continued his act, "Of course, not even he could touch me!" Jake took the time to observe this stranger, he was just a kid. "Kid look, how old are you? I don't know what you want kid but get lost." Jake turned and started to walk away, he got five feet away before the stranger spoke again. "What I want? What I want is very simple, Power!" The stranger started to move closer and Jake saw the dark vibes he was giving off. The commotion compelled the bar residents to come out to the street, out of the way but still in sight. Jake and the stranger were surrounded. "Not that It'll mean anything after this, you asked for my age? I'm 14 today. My name is Zayn Fade, the strongest Wolf Slayer alive." Jake couldn't help but laugh, the towns looks were worried and anticipation. "Kid, don't bullshit a bulshitter. Wolf Slayers don't exist. Now get lost and go home punk." The audience held their breath and waited for the next sequence, however two of them were talking among each other. "Jesse, hey man what's these guys power level? D or C?", "Let me check man. Power Factor: Magic Count!" His face was stunned and he slowly turned to his friend, his friend spoke once again, "Dude you okay? Is the kid a C?" He shook his head and softly and managed to get the words out, " He's... A rank..."

"What reason do we have to live if not for power? My purpose in my life is to get that, you claim to be powerful but I see through your act, and one thing I hate more then the weak, is the weak acting powerful!" Zayn rushed forward with lightning speed, leaving a hint of electricity behind him, Jake was too slow to stop the punch, hurling him five meters back and tearing up the ground. The crowd gasped as the display of power. Jake got up slowly, his bones aching and cracking as he stood up, "You... You little shit! Poison Art: Sting Tips!" Jake's fingertips glowed green and he dashed towards Zayn, chopping down fast with his right hand, an attack Zayn easily dodged and followed up with a knee to his ribs. He kept the knee in his rib and bent down to Jake, "You...Are...Weak." He extended his knee flicking Jake onto his back, laying in pain and slowly dying. "Internal bleeding. That's what's happening to you. But don't worry, in your final moments, you'll see that Wolf Slayers are just as real as Dragon Slayers. Lightning Wolf: Destructive Howl!" Zayn opened his mouth an a thousand uncontrollable lightning strikes attacked on one singular target, Jake. His body, burned and devastated, let out the final gasp of air as the howl of the wolf pierced the nights silent skies.

When the commotion dimmed down, the remains of Jake were virtually impossible to recognize, the crowd shocked with fear were too stunned to move. The silent night once again crept back in and Zayn slowly turned around towards the towns exit and slowly strolled towards it, his hands in his pocket and his body untouched in the fight. The crowd watched as this stranger slowly paced through their streets before a flash of lightning hit the ground beneath Zayn's feet and vanished. The town still stood there in fear before eventually some walked cautiously back to their homes and bar.

Trinity Stratos

Heh, Emperor Nero. Riiiight. The young lady gave a soft chuckle, rolling her eyes as Nero rolled one joke into another, terrible pun. When the genie-mage stepped up to the range, Trinity began to watch carefully. She was a little confused when he called his attack. Slayer magic? Well, maybe it was Genie Slayer magic at that. To be a genie would be to grant wishes, but... Slayer Magics were typically more direct, right?

Oh. That's because he makes up whatever. "You are a stinker. Such a deceptive tactic, though I suppose it's only natural. If that's what you've got, you've gotta do something tricky with it. But, surely, that isn't your only attack...? Aah, but I understand if you want to keep some secret techniques... well, secret."

"Here, I'll shoot next." Trinity stepped up to the range next. She shouldn't show off too much, since she's in the tournament, but a little bit shouldn't hurt. The archer-minstrel motioned, as though pulling an arrow from her quiver, and as she conitued the motion to put that arrow to her string, it formed in her hand. A plain arrow, pristine, sharp, and true. She loosed the arrow into the target in front of her, scoring a good hit near the bullseye. With a quick "repeat," she pulled her bowstring again. Another arrow formed, and she loosed it. Not far from the first. Closer to center, actually. She fires a series of ten shots, scoring one bullseye with no outliers.

"There. Not bad, ey?" The minstrel dismisses her bow and quiver, turning to her compaions with a smile. She'd step down from the range for now, wondering if someone else wanted a turn.

Aether Wizard Ferrin and Esper Wizard Valak

Ferrin watched as the two discussed plans, keeping most of his thoughts to himself. I have stumbled on something bigger than I thought. It seems that there is a lot more to this. Whats more, none of the pieces of story I have gotten so far have fit together. He was also interested in Mithera not being in human form for a century.. Just how old is she anyways? Those two seen to know each other very well, could Jamie be as old or older, seeing as they are both shapeshifters. He also studied the man...noting in particular his right arm. His attention was drawn back to the conversation as they discussed how to hide Mithera's absence from others. "I believe I can help with that." He said. Ferrin lifted his hand, and purely for dramatic effect, snapped his fingers. Beside Mithera, on the bed, the air shimmered and a life-like Mithera suddenly appeared in exactly the same position, like a mirror image. It yawned and streched, exactly like Mithera, then shook itsself and turned its head to watch Mithera. A close inspection of the figure might reveal small flaws, but those were inconsequential. Ferrin's face stretched into a small grin. "A simple bit of illusion magic back by my... Special magic and I can make a very good doppelgänger. I can even make it speak, although that is rather difficult. My idea is simple, however it would require you to deceive your guild members for awhile." He gazed at Jamie "It might be none of my business, but since I am already in this, I would like to see it through. Unexpectedly, Valak, who had been so quiet it was easy to forget he was there, spoke up. "I would like to accompany Mithera." He didn't explain his reasons, and he waited for the inevitable question.
