i'd be down with meryn and emma knowing each other. meryn could deliver things to her patients, and emma could maybe help out with any odd scrapes she gets running around. i can totally see meryn not bothering to take care of a cut properly and getting an infection. i'm sure a healer acquaintance would be welcome :p

I have no issue with who I am being grouped with other than @turboshitter as him and I are currently fleshing out some ideas for our characters and their history. :)

But I don't know how it'd go if all the people with battle training to all be in the same group. lol I leave that in the lovely hands of @Mokley to divvy us up evenly so we get a nice spread of more commoners with the people who have battle training. :)

Sounds pretty solid, it's cool that everyone is kind of taking a chance to work stuff like this out. I think I'll drop a little 'Social Links' thing at the bottom of my CS for posterity.

alright, so, i'm thinking that on her trips to and from her clients, lily has probably been through most neighborhoods, so anyone who wants to have seen her about the city and form their own opinions is welcome to. a few points of interest from the home ground of the lower districts, though:

@Irisity: while she wouldn't go so far as to take her in, lily does have a soft spot for young girls; she's probably brought amelia food fairly often in the past, occasionally one of the (many) unsold flowers from her shop and a scrap of candy.

@Crimson Raven: kelsier is an interesting case, because while lily probably knew/knew of him when he was younger as they're both inclined to take any work they can get, these days she avoids the guards (at least the ones who aren't paying her) like the plague. she definitely knows of him, though; gutter rat to guard captain in nothing flat.

@c3p-0h: i can definitely see lily using meryn's services. ferrying payments and communication back and forth, maybe? easy to trust a mute messenger not to go blabbing :P

as far as 'districts' i was thinking of an informal thing; every city has a bad side of town, right? not hunger games style divisions xD fair enough though!

Oh, @Darinthus and @Bornlucky, perhaps our characters could know each other since they all have a love for plants? I'm sure Theodore could have stopped by Emma's shop searching for flowers, or perhaps met at the Botanical Gardens. And I'm sure there would be some overlap between the Gardens and the Forests, so Emma could've met Roy at some point.

Love of plants? *Scoff* Roy would never equate plants to the overall beauty of trees and you're terrible for insinuating suchandofcoursecompletelykidding.

That sounds fine though, Roy generally would be the character that has people approach him rather than vice versa. Being the fantastic listener that he is I'm sure he's met plenty of friends simply by running into them.
