@Karos It all depends on the pair of rpers. I have done 1x1's with people that fall flat to nothingness and then had a few that remarkable because both of brought in great casts and they lasted months. Just as with any rp, it's a toss of the dice.
Yay for work (still at it, just shirking responsibilities (tee hee)) It looks like I'll probably be bothering Ein for my next post.
Edit: That and SomethingClever maybe gave me a chance with the whole 'coming from the woods and waving to locals' to mention the old man, idk. I'll have to read it all again.
@Lady Amalthea I don't mean to double post, but mentions don't work when edited in. When you say mythical beings can smell their own, do you mean any mythical beings or only mythical beings of the same race can sense each other?
@Guilty Spark You don't need to walk on paths to go through a forest. Also, the old man and such mini timeskipped into the bar. I cut out needless implications of stalking from a distance and breathing heavily, but it could have been an hour or however long since my last post. It didn't include any controlled/named characters, so I figured I could do this. Sorry for any confusion.
Also, being followed is more worrying than being approached.
EDIT: Oh, @PM. Its a little important. Is Ein armed, currently? Weapon strapped to their person and such?
@PM I was going to wait until I posted to say that won't be necessary unless that is how she would react. One girl with a cart full of dead flowers and a silver sword she isn't even wearing wouldn't warrant the ire of the black knight. The vague silhouette of what looked like rabbit ears and antlers appearing as a faint cloud of distortion, though...hidden in such a way her father obscured his force magic, however...
Intriguing.
(Also the word "jyour" is meant to imply the heavy accent and is intentional)
EDIT: Profession "updated" EDIT2: Translation added. Yes Kaite has a thick German accent.
Ispar is an escape for scholars of the arts. A college of sorts for the *ehem* inclined types. The idea is that only the devout scholars would have the nerve to travel to such hostile conditions. At that point, for face value, it is a well sponsored college funded by dragon fortunes to be a bastion for the "Races of Faebel" to continue their lives and preserve the spirit of magic. It functions like a holy cloister, so bandits have no reason to accost pilgrims who don't have a pence to their name. The climate in mind, only people who truly want to be there, are. The story of "Blaq's Armor" is a bit of lore explaining the strife of Ispar that I'm working on...blah blah blah, idk.
@Guilty Spark All mythicals, whether in hiding and forgotten or out in the open will feel a connection to another in some small form. The longer in hiding, the fainter the connection and knowledge. Those not in hiding can see the truth behind the human look of those in hiding. Say a Harpy were to fly over the three on the mountain path right now, said Harpy would know the Lady Amalthea was a unicorn immediately.
@FallenTrinity Not at all, I am happy to answer any questions you have. My only limit for mythical beings is no unicorn. Other than that, your imagination is the only limitation.
