Also it's actually good that only now there is a lull. I was gathering research on the affects of community on writing, and now for the second half of my research I am focusing on the idea of isolation. I'm just writing fun backstory stuff for Roy while I wait and actually it's pretty fun. I like discovering my idea of where he comes from, while still leaving a little vague for myself.

@Darinthus That sounds like some really awesome research -- curious about your conclusions! :D

I feel like it would be terrible and asshatty of me to post now when so few have had a chance to post again, but I'm just really inspired, you guys. Maybe I'll write out the next story post and sit on it for a bit. Yeah. I can totally resist posting. XD

On the other hand, I think at least a few characters would be happy for something concrete to respond to. Hmm...

@Mokley question… if the little buggers teleport while you hold them, do you teleport with them? I'm just picturing the effect it would have on lux if she caught Meryn teleporting.

Also what's stopping them from just teleporting out of the cages when caught?

@c3p-0h good questions! I hadn't even considered the first option. Hmm... ok yeah, why not? If you're holding it firmly while it teleports (or it's latched onto you), you'll go with it. It doesn't do it very often (like when it's spooked) and it will instantly reappear a few feet away, max.

The cages are all iron. We'll use the old fairy rules and say no magic can cross it.

Ahhh, sorry for being quiet! I got sick a couple days ago and I've been feeling bleehhh since. I'm gonna play catch-up after I get some dinner, and hopefully I can post later tonight. :D
