This was a new side of Maryvale one might not have witnessed before, save for the Grand Marshal and a few others; a darker, more sinister side, it seems, for an otherwise calm and composed shell of an individual clouded in darkness.

*Knight sighs again. With a grumble he sits down and tilts his head* "You were perfectly fine with me a few minutes ago" *He shakes his head and studies her for a second* "I wouldn't harm a fellow knight, especially not one that I helped a few moments ago. I would much rather remain a part of this group, and help you achieve your goal" *He seems sincere, but he wants a bit of treasure from the areas the group would be headed into. He enjoys the life he currently has too much to want to destroy it. That and he senses a weakening spell being readied that would hinder him, which is not preferable.*

"Don't need any platinum, right guv. Come on, let's go cop the bloody bloke!" With that, Connor runs in the direction of the hobgoblin with the group following close behind.

And they soon see a whole nomad tribe of goblins and hobgoblins guarded by quite a few gnoll warriors, who were clearly displeased by Connor's presence, yet they didn't attack.

"Yeah... I say we ditch that mission, boss." One of the twin humans said scratching his head. "Or do you want to beat a whole tribe for several hundred pieces of gold?"

"It's not io to us to decide, dragon, but I propose that you leave before a battle ensues. Unless you are sure you can convince lady Maryvale here not to kill you." The high elf said in a rather indifferent tone.

"I see, but you are alone and from what I heard, many of these people are well trained, I'm sure that one of them is stronger than you." The chieftain said. "If you wish, maybe our smith could help you improve your armor and weaponry..."

"You look more like a dragon who is able to take human form - a shapeshifter. I'm not very fond of them." Maryvale remarks as the dark energy seems to flow into her blade. "There's only two possibilities why you've changed form: either you wish to kill us or you're actually a dragon. Which is it?"

"From what I heard, milady, there are some dragons who have the power to turn into humans for a while, one example is Sssalivan's sole offspring Hector, except he can turn human for how long he wants." The high elf explains.

*Knight tilts his head, somewhat surprised that the high elf is helping him. When the elf is finished talking he nods*"As the elf said, I am a dragon who can take human form for a limited amount of time." *He focuses back on the dark knight, more importantly on that sword.*

"He's over there." The chieftan said pointing to a covered wagon pulled by two wargs. The smith was maybe unsurprisingly a battle-scarred orc. The wagon itself was filled with all sorts of weapons, armors and metal tools of varying quality. "I'm sure you'll find something that'll suit your needs in there."

"I am aware of that Torien - what I was implying was that his primary form is a dragon."

Never moving her eyes from her target, she stands completely still, like a statue, though one could tell that even with the armour she was ready to pounce at any moment. "I would like to hear of your ulterior motives, dragon. Why is it you wish to travel with us as a party? If you're after the swords, surely you could easily obtain one or more of which in your own, not to mention other goods. Answer carefully; truthfully - if I like it, I won't kill you."

Blood seems calmer, though still on alert, stance never faultering, gaze never ceasing, aura never fading. She wanted to hear what the creature had to say for itself. Under most circumstances, she would kill a creature such as Knight without hesitation, though he had fought alongside them earlier - that much made it clear he had some reason for keeping them alive. It wouldn't be something petty, she imagined. No, Maryvale felt as though there was a good reason behind this, and she wanted to know it.

*Knight tilts his head as he thinks of the wording, after a few moments of silence he nods.* "I find that goals are accomplished more quickly and with less injuries when in a group, then when by oneself. I do wish to gather some treasures along the journey, but other then that, being in a group is more beneficial then going alone. *Is he a bit selfish, yes, but he is being honest in that he wants to do this quest in a group.*

The orc studied the sword and gave it a few test swings before saying:

"I have just the thing for you!" He said going in the back of the wagon then coming back with a broadsword made of a dark material. "Night Elf steel. These things cut through common steel like a knife through hot butter, though being rare, it'll cost you a bit, my friend, 2 platinum coins please."

Colmaz spent an hour or two walking very slowly along the path, humming to himself and eating some of the bread he'd packed. He was getting farther out from the Marble Castle, and the ingredients he was finding started to change slightly. He couldn't wait to start to experiment with them when he took a rest break. For now, he continued along the road.

Maryvale is completely still, silent, staring with an unseen expression, the dark magic that surrounds her body never ceasing its continuation.

"... I don't like your answer..."

... Until she sheathes her sword and relaxes her stance, the aura dissipating. "But, despite your strangely cooperative claims, you seem honest, sadly. You may come with us. However, one false move and it's the end of the line for you."

*Knight gives a sharp nod, and lowers his head to her level.* "Agreed" 8He lifts his head back up and studies her.* "Unfortunately, I am stuck in my natural form for some time." *With that, he stands.* "Either way, I will follow what you order" *This way he won't do something that would cause an attack and hinder his goals.*

And they already found the man dead and decapitated by the armored murloc. He stares at the group of people and said:

"I suppose you're after this." He says throwing the pouch to Connor. "Good luck in your suicide mission..." The murloc said slowly heading in the direction of the nomad clan.
