You know what, that ones on me. I must have miscounted when I checked. Sorry about that. If you can just quickly fix that @Bright_Ops, that would be awesome.
@Hipster *laughs* Oh wait your serious? Let me laugh even harder *dies laughing* {not making fun of you just friendly competition + I am sure my core army can hold you off for a while }
Technology doesn't matter if I have more soldiers than you have weapons!
This is how you Russian Zerg, yo men don't even need weapons. Just give them a large piece of timber and a potato, what's the worse that could happen to them on the field?
That looks really good so far @Aristo, and your territory is all good! Looks like you'll be getting cosy with @Bright_Ops early on, will be interesting to see what happens there.
All the traits add up, so feel free to post in the character tab, and then work on your history as you want.
@Lauder Yeah but here's the thing. the Persian's constantly sent small waves up against the spartans. the Persians won in the end because they got their shit together and sent the entire bulk of their army at the spartans. if the Persian's bothered to actually do tactics they could've won immediately.
numbers don't mean everything *hints at the battle of Thermopylae*
Quality doesn't imply greatness either. Look at WW2 tanks, the Germans created perfect engineering masterpieces that could outclass just about anything in the same category (ie a Tiger). However, they still lost because the Americans could vastly outproduce them.
For every Tiger that was killed, 8 Shermans where KIA'd but it was due to sheer numbers that the Allies could beat Germany. One a one to one level, Tigers easily rolfstomped Shermans into the ground, but when you have 8 fucking tanks around you, it doesn't matter how good your tank it or your crew, they're still fucked by numbers.
Right, I'm away to update the map to have all four accepted nations. I'll wait a day or so to see if any other completed nation sheets get accepted, and then I'll fill the left over space in with NPC nations and we can get this started!
