Ike Tsugi

After his attack he saw some of the damage he did and chuckled "One down, a few insects to go." he muttered before looking at the roaring dragon and frowning at Gabriel. "I tried using words, they chose to listen to orders. I chose to ignore those orders." Ike said turning away from Gabriel to look at Argus coming towards him to which Ike laughed. "Fine by me boy. Die." Ike stated ignoring Owens words but froze in his tracks when he saw a rabbit growing in front of him. "I-impossible, I.... I escaped the painting... That little..." Ike said now glaring as he clenched the ground bracing for impact from the rabbit.

Yet Ike caught a glance at a magic circle and jumped out of the way from being stabbed to millions of pieces along with the rabbit. When it laid dead, Ike just remained silent as Owen spoke again along with Gabriel. He looked around at everyone silently before shrinking to a normal sized person who wasn't covered in energy. He simply started walking and pushed his way out of the group without speaking a word, he was following a trail of a weak energy source and behold he found Isla. He stared at her sleeping body and just picked her up, returning to the group where he tossed her on the ground. "Do what you must." He finally said before sitting on the ground holding his hands up. He could end her now, none of them could stop him he was this close to her, not even Argus who was the closest could stop him from snapping her neck. "Joakim, Liexia. I apologize for what I did to you two." He said before closing his eyes waiting for them to finish.

Zephyr Hardt

He looked down at her smirking and smirked right back. "If getting my ass kicked by him is my punishment then so be it, I'll risk that. Yet it will also help me figure something out. If hes so against me helping people not kill themselves, then it will only help me realize Dragon fang wasn't the guild I thought it was. So onward to the arena!" Zephyr shouted before looking down at her. "Or you can choose to tell me where Masahiko is. Either way I'm finding him, it just matters if you want the whole world to see you getting carried in and thinking were a couple. Millions of people going "Awww how cute, hes trying to help his exhausted girlfriend!! Im rooting for you two!!" Like I said, I have zero fears. I'd walk through all those chants like they were a normal thing." Zephyr said smirking still showing two could easily play this game, and when he was in control. Then it was a much more dangerous game.

@Amaya Yashia

"Damnit all, where did she wonder off to?" Joshua muttered, walking through Crocus and looking in pretty much every direction that he could. After the competition for the day had been announced, he had looked around the stands to talk to her about what had been bothering her earlier but she had vanished. Thus, he had been looking for her for the past hour. While he had asked the locals for some help but there was more then one person who matched Amaya's description and sometimes he simply ran into someone who was simply there for the Games and wasn't paying attention to anything else. However he kept at it and eventually, his persistence payed off when he spotted her walking down the street. Moving over to her, he gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Wondered where you walked off to."

@joshua Tamashii

Amaya watched Karn explain his/her true story wondering off with the other Phoenix members. She blinked looking around for the male that wanted to know about Phoenix wing as he seemed to went off on his own. She sighed before simply shrugging not caring if she was alone or not right now. She looked towards the sky, about ready to head in some random direction for no particular reason. The only thing that stopped her as the sudden tap on her shoulder and a familiar voice before she looked over her shoulder to see it was Joshua "Sometimes, I wonder if you became my replacement mother...Always worrying...now that is not the lonely swordsman I know..."She replied with a slight joke of how over the time of hanging with Joshua, he seemed to be the only one that has noticed a change in her attitude.

She turned fully to him before she placed her hands on her hips leaning forward on her left hip "Since when did I need a bodyguard to know where I ran off to? I am not a competitor like you are. It should be me wondering where you run off just incase you were ever called? As far as I know, I have no bounty or enemies wishing to attack me beside the normal ones Phoenix Wing have gained. So from how I see it, where I go and what I do, isn't or shouldn't be of concern to anyone as it is a festival and there are tons of sights to see and people to meet...So unless you need something of great importance...don't bug me with little 'where you go?' got it." She said more or less snapping as him before she sighed rubbing her temple with one hand before saying quickly [color=skyblue]"sorry, I have alot of memories and other stuff rushing through my head that I sometimes wish I was in a Coma so I didn't have to deal with anyone or thing."[/color[She added having to try to keep her cool as unfortunately most all known dragonslayers have an loud attitude and personality for who knows what reasons.

Masahiko Takashi

”You know... Assaulting my co-workers probably isn't the best way to get my attention. Especially if you just wanna talk to me. All you had to do was ask nicely for an appointment. I make a point to talk to people," Masahiko makes his way to where Zephyer was standing.a light smile on his face. He adjusts the simple black framed glasses he was wearing as he examines the scene. He stops a fair distance away and smiles at Carrie before addressing Zephyer, "So now that I'm here maybe you can let Carrie go so we can have a civilized conversation that would be much appreciated. If not," he smiles to nicely to be legitimate, "We can get straight to fighting. Though I'd recommend the first option."

Sasha took the words with a calm that surprised even her, and when Edo-karn had finished, she waited a few moments. "oh, finished? Okay then. Yes, j said those things. I probably shouldn't have. But right at that time, from my point of view, after being thrown into a world with little or no magic, thrown into a world were apparently my brother was still alive-and as such doubt whether or not it was my magic that killed him in this world, in a world were apparently my counterpart swung both ways, I think it's understandable I was a little upset. So are you going to stop being a hardass, or will you continue with this attitude until we have to tie you up and force feed you cake until your attitude gets better?" she spoke politely, calmly.

"I get it. You think you are alone. I understand that, and right now k can just see you rolling imaginary eyes in your head and assuming that I can't understand. I do. Imagine being eight years old, thinking you just killed your brother and your parents, that for some horrible reason you were alive while they were dead. Imagine being so completely alone, no one even knew you existed. I know what's it's like. And I also know what it's like to have people that simply won't quit until you see that you aren't alone, so why don't you just shut up and listen?" this time, her voice took on a demanding quality to it.

"we will find a damn way to save karn, and we will find a damn way to save your butt as well. We won't give up, so you better not give up either, or I swear to any God out there, I will find a necromancer and I will raise you both from the dead so we can kick your butts, before trying to figure it all out once more. Understand?" she said, hands on her hips as if she was scolding

"there's things Master Jamie doesn't know, and the blood of the Fairy can do a lot, especially when the connection is there. We can find a way to create a safe passage to Edolas-we'd have to anyway to put the handful of Edolasians that got here back before they damage earth land. It can be done. Nothing is impossible, and you better start believing that"

carrie
@demous@oblivion666
Carrie gave a snort, "that might work, except for the fact I'm
Well known, and I have said I am not seeing anyone and don't plan to in several interviews. Of course, the minute you step into the arena I'll simply make a fuss, kicking and screaming that you kidnapped me, which is technically true after all"
Carrie replied, wincing as she heard Masahiko's voice.

Did Masahiko seriously think that Zephyr had caused her injuries? That he was assaulting her? "he's just a man-child, Masa. No harm in him, expect for the fact he won't let me go. I had a run in with the twins" she said, managing to maintain an official voice, as she wriggled to try and get away from Zepjhr and stand, not wishing to show weakness right then

gabriel

Gabriel darted forward and dragged Isla alway from Ike without a moments hesitation, watching Ike, a little terrified. He didn't know if Ike was playing a game or not, but he watched him a little warily, using one hand to hold both of Isla's like a hand cuff, not that he expected the girl to go anywhere. He swallowed, and said "is everyone okay?"

It seemed to be over, but he'd thought that before

"People say a lot of things when they are being embarrassed, and would a kidnapper really go deep into territory where getting his ass kicked awaited him on all sides? I think not." Thats when a voice picked up causing him to turn towards him and was confused at first until Carrie spoke up. Zephyr then smiled back at him. "Ahh nice too meet you then, I'm Zephyr Hardt." He said before his smile turned to a frown. "Yet what gives dude, I don't know if you understand the human body that well. Yet you need to let your girlfriend here take breaks and rest, otherwise she is going to work herself to death. I have to trust you with that cause frankly she is too stubborn to see this." Zephyr said sighing as he placed Carrie down folding his arms. " Oh don't believe that no weakness voice, I bet you anyone could take her down if they so wished. Although she conveniently leaving out maybe being a bit injured from them both attacking her at once." Zephyr stated frowning at Carrie, he knew she was trying to act like she was fine and it wasn't fooling him. He just hoped it wasn't fooling this guy either.

Trinity Stratos

Trinity didn't really understand what they were arguing about at first. When the gravity of their personal argument caught up with her, she felt a little at-odds listening in. It seemed like rather private personal details, but she couldn't just back out. She had to work to help the Karns, too. And what a sticky situation that was. Three obvious options, each one sucks. Two of the three being Karn eats Karn, winner lives here. Or gets sent through when another Edolas portal opens, apparently, but then would the Edolas folks even remember her? Their final option sounded hazardous. It was only buying time.

So, eKarn wants to go home, but is resolved not to. They didn't even have a merciful option, either. To have your soul consumed... But, there must be something they could do. If they could run into Annalise, she might have an idea, or maybe Fleo? She was the one who caught Annalise's soul in her hat, but that was probably just a fluke...

Arguing in the middle of the rain was only going to get them sick. "Well, alright. I've learned what I need to know. I'm sorry to have been so suspicious of you, Ka... hm." She gazed at Karn thoughtfully before shrugging and continuing, "Karn. Caution was all it was. However, now that we have an understanding, let us go to lunch." She looked at Penny and Sasha briefly. It was time they started to make their guest welcome, now that the situation was understood. To be stuck in a foreign land, and in such a situation. Dreadful.

Karn's emerald gaze didn't waver from their cold look as this Sasha tried to scold her. "The difference is you voluntarily went to Edolas. And you probably had some information on the matter that yes, you wouldn't have magic. That yes there were look possibly counterparts that acted completely different." Karn responded with a soft instinctive growl. This kid's body must just be in tune with animal. It was instinctevly reflexive to respond to Sasha's harsh tone with a act of aggression. Even if her mind thought that was a little ridiculous.

As Sasha spoke of trying to imagine of that time, Karn's emerald eyes glared sharply and the growl turned into a low snarl. Eyes flicking to the right as she felt her mind numb at the memories. And the sight of her father and brother. Flesh torn to pieces, bones showing and covered in blood.

Great. She was really hoping she wouldn't have to deal with these kind of hallucinations. Thanks Sasha, super.

"She's right.... You know what it's like riiight? After all. You killed your own father and brother... Just to survive. You killed us. You fed on us... How animalistic bitch. And eventually you'll do it again... After all... You got most of your Guild killed already." she heard her father but continued to ignore the chattering voices, trying to focus on something else. More or less her frustration.

"There is a time for hope and there is a time for logic. Even if you found someway, even if best case scenario, I managed to create another body without magic like the one back home and you Karn can live properly, you seen what time does between worlds to your Wes. A couple months here can equal years in Edolas. And apparently, it's already been a few months here. And realistically, more time will go into researching this. It's not like I'm giving up, that I'm not trying to think through possibilities. But I only woke up a fucking hour ago. So if you have any slightest of understanding, then you should know when to give someone their space." she growled before blinking slowly as her hands suddenly enveloped in golden flame.

"......." Karn slowly raised her hands in examination, glancing around to see others reaction, and saw some seem to perk with interest at the... Whatever this was.

"I think your hands are on fire." Pen pointed out in a matter of fact manner and Karn have a soft sigh of 'no shit sherlock' and waved her hands a bit in a attempt to rid of the Flames. They didn't hurt at least. Where was the off switch though?

The flames wouldn't cease though, and just seemed to evaporate the water droplets that got near them. She felt like it was draining, and she was getting a bit more tired as time went on, and her hunger grew. Why was she fucking hungry? She just ate some junk food which was usually filling enough! Well, for her other body. Did this skinny kid actually eat a lot? Where did he put it all? If he would fucking wake up this would be easier to figure out.

"...I wonder which is more bizarre? Waking up with morning wood or having my hands on fire in the rain?" she muttered, emerald gaze flicking toward Trinity as she took a bit more calmer, not as direct tactic to settle the situation and even apologized, though she really didn't need to. It made her feel a bit more guilty over her irrational behavior.

"No it's fine. I get why. I'd be just a suspicious." Karn answered calmly, the feral animalistic sounds finally ceasing. How annoying. Dumb body and it's weird.... Habits. Her expression narrowed a little at the mention of lunch. She really didn't want to be around them at the moment. Honestly, she wasn't sure how she'd handle this. This body seemed to just do its own thing sometimes. Plus, she wasn't really interested in being near Sasha in this body either. It was problematic.

Glancing toward where Gamble was, it seemed Amaya had wandered off, or something. So she turned toward the stunned looking man, quickly moved behind him and was about to push him but remembered her hands were on fire... Probably not a good idea to touch people with those. So instead she pushed him with her head.

"Or, how about you talk with this guy? Says he was asking around the Guild for their opinions on it. Why not ask you three?" she said nonchalantly before proceeding to blow on her lands, as if attempting to blow them out like a candle.

Janna smiled at the scene between James and Jessica. The man’s attempts could be seen as kind of adorable, considering the way she replied to them. The former thief smiled before looking at the arena.” Scavenger hunts is it? Who knows it might turn out interesting outcome… or may not.” She stated with a shrug. It didn’t really matter who won now, since Phoenix wing had the greatest prospects to win the games.

“So you two are a couple?” Janna teasingly poked at James more of a joke than real question. From the sides it looked like maybe he liked Jessica, but it wasn’t true in reverse. Well it was a good tease to use at this moment. She then threw a look back towards the games, wondering what it would be to participate in them. Maybe she should try to join a guild again… who knew, maybe this time it was going to be her lucky one.

Angela Arthur James Jessica
"I wish, but Jessica is just a big meanie." James said with a deep sigh, only to be elbowed once again in the ribs. This time a lot harder.
"The only love in my life is justice." Jessica huffed as she munched on some more popcorn. James groaned slightly as he looked towards Janna with a 'See? What did I say?' look on his face.
Arthur watched the exchange and sighed as well. He could relate to James on this topic anyway.
"I wish we can join in on this. Stupid bloody rules about-" Angela pouted as she crossed her arms across her chest. Arthur covered her mouth before she could say anymore and looked up towards Janna with an apologetic smile.
"Sorry Angela just can't come to grips with rules in general." Arthur explained hastily as he tapped Angela on the hit lightly.
"Remember what Georgie said. Ok?" Angela nodded slowly before suddenly pulling a broomstick seemingly out of nowhere and smacked Arthur across the face with it.
James grinned widely at the sight of a little girl smacking a grown man with a broom. It was most humerous.

"I touched a book and found myself in Edolas. I didn't chose to go there, it was involuntary" Sasha said with patience, feeling like she had said that all before. At the mention of Time, she thought on time lord,and wondered. Edolas had some magic, after all.

"times fluid. And we can find a way" she said softly, but was willing to let it go for now.

Penny took pity on the female karn, and said "Karn can use Chimeria magic. Looks like you can use the magic too. But unlike Karn you have no experience with it." she put her own hands on fire with barely a thought "I imagine the general practices are the same, with Phoenix Fire. Simply will the magical power to stop, and cut the flow towards it, like scandals being blown out by the wind" penny said, her flames winking out of existence. "only it's more internal" she said, trying to explain

Joshua laughed at Amaya's comment to him being a replacement mother.
"Well, you are my teammate so..." He began jokingly only to stop and raise an eyebrow at her outburst and subsequent apology. When she was done, he gave her a few seconds before speaking. "You know, it's for precisely this reason that I'm worried. You're not acting like your usual self. You're tired, moody, and more... unwilling to interact with others then usual. You were fine yesterday but something happened last night. I don't know it it's a dream or someone talked to you. But it does worry me. I like you more the way you usually are. Gentle, soft-spoken, and easy to talk to. But whatever happened is affecting you enough to make you the total opposite. And I want to help you get over it but you won't let me. Why?"

@Caits

"So you saying you weren't planning to go yourself to get your friend? Be it mistake or not, someone was planning on going. Unless you had some magic that magically pinpointed someone in a entire otherworld and teleported them back. Considering my hands are on fire, that somehow doesn't seem surprising." Karn answered sarcastically, eyes narrowing at the mention of time.

"Unfortunate your friend didn't get that." she replied, eyes narrowing at her hands before glancing to Penny as she seemed to try and explain how it works.

"Well it is still his body and he is still alive in it. And Earthlanders magic seems to be more connected to the body. Not too surprising this happened. Might of disappeared if I had completely replaced him." she answered before listening, raising a eyebrow at the word 'scandals' and mentally laughed at that but knew what she meant. Still, she had this weird urge to just bite Penny's hands engulfed in fire. That was a weird thing to think. Who would eat fire? Except those weird performers?

Still, she tried focusing as she looked at the flames. Eventually the flames died down before completely disappearing. Giving a soft sigh of relief.

"BOO!" she heard a loud shout right in her ear and she instinctevly jumped. But found a bit of pain into this fact as she felt her left ear be contorted and twisted while the left felt a bit like it had moved a bit higher. Her left arm's skin meshing with a golden substance that looked like fur and looked like it had shrunk a little, hand shaping what looked like a cat paw. Karn could feel a thumping object hit against her leg and turned and saw a fluffed up golden cat tail, fluffed and arching in alarm.

Well, this felt both uncomfortable and painful. She was pretty sure bodies were not supposed to be like this. She felt her eye twitching as she heard giggling and she snapped her now slitted cat eye like gaze toward the offender. Of course, it was still in her head as she saw... Well her Trinity of Edolas giggling hysterically.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see you as a cute cat TsunTsun or something. Pretty close... Though looks like you. Got stuck halfway into a cat. Ouchie! Whoopsie! Ahaha! Still cute!" she giggled.

Karn didn't exactly look amused. It bloody hurt. What, did this kid just reactively switch to animal when he's mildly spooked? People turn into animals? What kind of weird magic was that? Just utter transformation?

"Probably easy cause your just a animal yourself. After all, you were feral until the Guild found you. Hey.... If we have some sort of shapeshifting magic... That means anyone you see can totally take over as their own body... Hehe..." Pen started but Karn twitched in annoyance before trying to focus... A way out of this.

"Definetly no." The blonde thought firmly. It took a bit, but Karn managed to clumsily revert the changes body parts to a normal state.

Haven't a bit enough of it, Karn grumbled irritably about the other Karn needing to wake up. "Like it or not, we don't have a solution right now. Only the three unfriendly ones. So until then, I guess we're stuck at number three. Your free to try and find a 'magical' solution. I'm going to get some food before I turn into a Legion or something and think through things." she said then continued walking. Not exactly sure where now, but somewhere.

Jane's Reckoning|Final Part

Jane panted, on her hands and knees after that last blow, a Titan magic boosted fist having impacted her gut and slammed her into the wall of the damaged church, her hilt having skittered off to the right somewhere, laying glinting in a puddle as the rain fell. The man responsible, Zentir, approached her with a sadistic grin on his face as he grabbed a piece of destroyed pew and made sure it was sharp enough to do the job he intended to. "Your parents were hard to track down, always being on the run. But we did, and they stood a greater chance than you, pip squeak, if I hadn't just snapped their backs. Any last words?"

Jane didn't speak at first, too busy trying to gulp air into her lungs as another peal of thunder echoed. "Typical Addeson. Just like your father." As the wooden spear drove towards her heart, a single silver energy blade shot up and split the wood as lightening flashed, making the Titan magic user stumble back in surprise. Slowly, Jane regained her feet, first with one foot coming up, then the other. Finally, her head came up, as the thunder once more echoed, and her eyes had a fire in them that made the Dark Mage raise his eyes in surprise and step back.

"I will not die kneeling..." she muttered, raising her fists up in front of her. "But more importantly, I won't die with my parent's names uncleared. I WILL make you pay!" Two blades flared to life from her wrists, one on each wrist, and she crossed them in front of her before charging forward. Zentir laughed and used his magic to throw an enhanced fist at her, but she dodged to the right, the attack missing completely as she proceeds to leap onto the arm and plunge a blade into it. Zentir roared in pain and quickly returned the arm to normal size, forcing the Energy Blade user to leap off as his arther magic user fired a flurry of arrows at her. Left, right, forward with a roll, to the right again, she dodged them as she closed with the archer, leaping and flipping mid air as she reached him and landing behind him, spinning and delivering a round house to the turning mage's face and then ramming her blades into his gut and throwing him against the wall. He wouldn't die, but he was out of the fight as Zentir came at her.

Focusing her magic energy, the wrist blades flared before she rushed forward to meet him. As he punched forwards and followed it up with a roundhouse, Jane ducked and backflipped, then closed the distance again, striking with a quick slash from her right arm and a thrust with her left, which Zentir dodged by dancing back out of reach. She followed and he shot his leg out in a front-snap kick, which she spun around to the left and slammed her elbow into the back of his head. Stumbling foward, he lashed out with a Titan magicked backhand that sent Jane flying into the wall again. She stayed there a moment before falling on her face. Still, she stood up and took a ready stance as the Dark Mage turned and let loose another bout of laughter before running at her, his arms growing in size as he used his magic. Damian, who had just arrived on the scene behind James, summoned his Ares Blades and moved to help the girl but James stopped him. "No, this is a matter of honor and duty. We cannot interfer with this fight." Damian looked towards the fight as she danced about with the Dark Mage.

God speed, Jane Addeson. God speed. Jane finally found an opening and slammed her fist, having dispersed the blade on her left hand, into Zentir's jaw, stumbling him, then recreating the blade and unleashed a series of slashes and thrusts that left several shallow gashes all over the Titan magic user.

"ENOUGH! You will die, little Jane!" Growing angry at the continued resistance of the Energy Blade mage, he unleashes his full Titan form, growing massive and breaking the remains of the church the battle had arrived in beyond repair. "Now to squash you like the insect you are, then on to Phoenix Wing!" He raised a giant foot and brought it down towards Jane, who dodged away, finally spotting the hilt for her holder magic. Snagging it as she avoided another stomp by mere inches, she ignites the silver blade and slides into a ready stance.

"Now to end this." Zentir roars in anger and brings his fist down towards her and she dodges it, though she does grab on to use his left arm as a bridge to his body as he lifed the fist. He attempted several times to dislodge the small girl as she ran up his army, eventually storing the hilt and using her wrist blades to scale him. Reaching his shoulder, she sprinted as fast as she could with the Titan magic user trashing around to try and knock her off. Reaching his ear, she used his dreadlocks against him, scaling to the top of his head and bracing herself. Pulling the hilt free, she spins it as the blade hisses to life and plunges it into the top of his head. The man went rigid, then began to shrink back down, Jane leaping off of him and rolling along the ground and back up to her feet. She wasn't sure how much damage her blow had done, since he had been in Titan form. Upon reaching normal size, however, Zentir, leader of the dark guild Promised Butchers, fell to the side and didn't move again.

Jane remained tense for several seconds, not willing to believe that the man who had destroyed her life and that of her parents' was finally gone, that she'd managed to defeat him. Then, when it finally became clear he wasn't going to be moving, she collapsed, the combination of pain and grief finally becoming too much and she just cried, even as James came to her and started healing her the best he could while Damian detained the wounded and incapacitated dark wizards who had avoided the rubble when their leader took his Titan form.

The storm continued though, lightening and rain and thunder a constant companion as they worked. Damian had taken time to call for help from members of the guild who could be spared and James was now waiting on the arrival of medical wizards, his own magic energy too low to properly heal the three broken ribs in her chest and the fractured arm and broken left leg.

@Lugubrious
NOLAN

"We're all missing something. Your case is nothing special. Get used to it." Nolan said gruff as ever, completely apathetic to her wrath. As awful as it sounds he really couldn't care less if she was upset with the death of her clone simply because his act of killing was something he couldn't take back and thus accepted it. It's like war; a soldier shouldn't think about those they killed or else they would go mad with guilt, something that Indigo should be very well aware of due to her guild's militaristic nature. Instead, her rage over her clone's death seethed from her and was expressed in the form of creating a beam of heat from the sun to turn up the heat. If he didn't hand the yellow lacrima over to her then she would toast him, but if he did he would still lose. Neither of these options were very appealing to him since he was determined to win this match.

Sweat ran down his brow and his tongue was like sandpaper. The women distorted into odd shapes, making them appear less human and the water from the ground was evaporating into a cloud of steam. Nolan began to pant, his body craved water, and begged him to give in, but his will wouldn't let him. His lackluster eyes glared at the woman and through his pants he said, "This...this isn't suffering. The things I've seen...the things I've heard...now that's real suffering." A pulse of magic flowed through him, his pupils turned white and a heavy, suffocating pressure hung in the air. Black ashes begun to slowly seep from his body with soft wisps, forming small clouds around him. "I'll show you true suffering." The ashes around him had begun to move in fast torrents, swirling around him as they kept increasing in numbers. Even the wind him seemed to be picking up with great speed. He clapped his hands together and for a split second there was a deadly silence, like the calm before the storm. Breaking the silence, Nolan chanted, "Ash God's Secret Art-Black Dharma: Purgatory."

Ashes erupted from the every portion of his body, causing a powerful gust of wind as the ashes encapsulated everything around it. From a bird's eye view, a person could only see a giant black mass staying in place. The massive cloud of ashes was heavy, unnaturally so. It seemed like that even moving around was hindered. There was no natural light that could pierce this cloud of ashes, only a never ending darkness as it would suffocate all those who were unfortunate to get caught in this attack. It was cold, icy cold without the sun to give its familiar warmth and comfort. It was like the land of the dead, where abyssal darkness ruled supreme. Indigo wouldn't be able to breathe very well and would probably see illusions induced from low oxygen intake. However, this wasn't the true horror of Nolan's secret art. Alone this was a technique of utmost cruelty, but the God Slayer's twist on the art made it into pure, sadistic torture.

"Mommy? Where are you?" "Oh god let me go! I want to see my family!" "It hurts...oh god it hurts!" "Where's my baby? Has anyone seen my baby?!" "I feel cold...so cold..."

Screaming and sobbing could be heard in the ashes from every direction. The spirits of those that had not passed on to the afterlife or rather could not pass on because of their regrets from their previous lives. This is what made his rendition of his secret art so cruel; it cut off most of the target's senses as it suffocates them all the while the miserable spirits that had either gone mad or gave up hope created a constant noise that never drowned out. It was an attack not meant to due much physical harm, but mental and emotional damage. Could someone as kind and motherly as Indigo ignore the suffering of those around her?

FERRIS

"That's a good question! I have no idea where she is at this point, but she better hurry up! Time is running out!" Ferris smiled at her and gave her a pat on the head in playful manner. His attention from her was diverted back to Nolan and Indigo's skirmish. "Wow, she's really trying to fry him up! I'm glad I'm not the one under those rays!" As light hearted he was for this round of the games, even he thought this was a bit cruel. Still, it was either lose or win so he couldn't really judge it. He thought it was Nolan's loss until the sudden black cloud of ashes enveloped the area around Nolan and Indigo. "Whoa, that's huge! Just what I'd expect from a God Slayer!"

Anya watched the screens depicting the scavenger hunt as best she could, though, most of them were extremely boring. Just people running around grabbing lacrima, so eventually she began to dose off. The games weren't anything she expected, really. She expected more fighting and less scavenger hunt, scavenger hunt was boring! People beating the crap out of each other was exciting and interesting. She jumped slightly when someone tapped her on the shoulder, she could almost immediately sense something off about him, he smelled..weird. Kinda like earth? She wasn't sure, but he was interesting and he had decided to talk to her. She looked up at the screen just as Indigo seemed to attack Nolan with the sun, she didn't really keep up with who had or did what magic, so she didn't think much on it. Shortly after, Nolan attacked with what could only be presumed to be either dirt or ash. Interesting. She then remembered that someone had actually spoken to her and she had kinda ignored him.

"Umm...Well. I dunno, she's S-Class and stuff but he's a God Slayer, apparently. So, it could go either way, really." She told him. "Though, I'm not sure what that black stuff is. I..honestly don't pay attention to the magic people use much. Soo, yea."

She turned to him, despite what she sensed he looked relatively normal. Then again, she was a immortal blood drinking demon creature thingy and she looked normal too, so that wasn't really saying much. "Names' Anya by the way. Don't think I've seen you before." She told him, though she wasn't good with remembering everyones names..so it was possible she had seen him before.

"Hmm, interesting move, now how shall see respond," Nidhogg said to himself, having also gotten distracted by the God Slayer's attack. As such, it took him a little while to realize that Anya had responded to his inquiry, though once he did, he gave a small chuckle at her admitted ignorance of a guild member's magic. "Well then, allow me to educate you a little, as I always try to keep an eye on notable mages. They tend to be the most interesting, though that isn't always the case. Nolan is an Ash God Slayer, and quite a strong contender with a history of ruthless efficiency, as not only can his attacks deal some hefty damage, but also serve as a severe hazard due to the likelihood of one of his attacks causing difficulty breathing and suffocation."

Nidhogg ran a hand through his hair, leaning forward to east his arms on the back of the seat right next to Anya, a gleam in his eye as he watched the screen. [i]Hmmm, a tricky situation Indigo finds herself in, but far from deadly or dangerous. All one needs to do us disperse or exit the cloud, which means there has to be another factor in this move to keep them from doing such things. Still, if Nolan was smart, he would use this as a chance to make a break for the area or launch a sneak attack on his foe, since defeating her isn't needed to win." As Anya introduced herself, Nidhogg smiled, turning his gaze away from the screen to her in a lazy fashion.

"My name's Jackson, but you can call me Jack if you wish, and I'm just passing through Crocus to get a look at the games. It has been over a 100 years since the last one, so it's definitely an event that can't be missed." Nidhogg let out a sigh, wanting this scavenge hunt to end so that they could get to the real event that everyone came for. "So, Anya was it, how did you get to be a member of Phoenux Wing, if you don't mind me asking. Is there any special trial or test, or are they just an accept all comers type of guild?"

Anya nodded and listened intently as Jack explained a bit about Nolan, So the stuff was Ash, not dirt, neat. she thought to herself. "Ooh. Neat. I mostly only pay attention to flashier magic and stuff, or more complex magic. Though, I generally don't take time to remember what each individual person does, at-least not fully" She explained before the both of them turned their attention back to the vision lacrima. He introduced himself soon after, to which she responded with a kind smile and looked up at him "Nice to meetcha Jack!" She said cheerfully. She was honestly glad she'd met so many new people in such a short span of time, yet nervous a the same time around this guy. He seemed..off. Kinda like herself but a different kinda off. "Yea..compared to the last games this one isn't that interesting from what I've seen so far..though I missed most of it.." She told him, before quickly and rather nervously adding "W-Well from what I heard stories of, anyway. Not that I could've been there..or anything...that'd be silly right? I'm only thirteen..after all."

She silently hoped he didn't suspect anything, she really didn't want anyone to find out such a thing about her. Not even Jamie knew the full story behind her. "As for my joining..well I wondered around for a year or two before getting bored and lonely. I eventually happened upon Phoenix Wing and asked them if I could join after showing them what I could do, though that wasn't really necessary, they accepted me and now here I am. I've been with them for around..six months? I think. They're really nice." She explained when he asked about her joining and such.

Mithera -- Hotel Room
A while after the little white dragon had gone into the hotel's bathroom, a few things crashing to the floor could be heard inside. None of it sounded like glass, fortunately, but it did sound rather clumsy of the person inside. It was another long moment before the door handle began to turn, and it swung open as it unlatched from the door frame, hitting the wall hard. The very pale white-haired woman that had opened it stumbled forward a few steps as it swung, and managed to catch herself on a desk before falling over. She blushed slightly, and looked up at the two men in the room with a nervous smile, the'd be able to see her eyes were a beautiful grey. She was dressed in the green dress Dornae had bought for her the previous day, and she was a surprising almost six feet tall in height. The girl was politely padded on the chest and rear, but besides that, she was all but skin-and-bones. Her hair was fairly short, only going down to her shoulders, and her eyes were a beautiful grey. Overall, she looked like she was barely an adult.

"Th-that was faster than I expected." She'd say carefully, testing out her voice. It was sweetly girlish, and definitely fit with her possible age. She seemed surprised at it. "H-heh, I expected to sound a bit... Deeper." She'd remark, gently massaging her throat with one hand. While she was doing this, her other hand would clumsily slip off of the desk, and she would fall forward, stumbling a few feet, before grabbing the desk and righting herself again. Carefully, she stood properly and took her hands off the desk, managing to stand on her own, and she'd sigh softly. "There. Now that I've figured out standing on half the normal amount of legs walking should be a breeze." She'd smile cheerily, before finally regarding Valak and Layle from her newfound height. They didn't look nearly as big as they did before. "Well, uh, what do you two think?"

Indigo Afina – Ashen Purgatory

@hatakekuro

Every Indigo stood her ground when ashes began to pour from Nolan's overheating body as if he'd been submersed in a vat of ink. Confident in her own heat to overpower whatever ambient embers her opponent could muster, Indigo remained still but ready for attack. His words, however, disturbed her. What kind of suffering did he mean? And what terrible thing had he undergone to gain what, at least in his eyes, amounted to such torment as to render him dead to compassion?

The sweat of ashes became a cloud, noxious and choking. Surprise took hold of Indigo when she realized that where she'd been comfortably warm only moments before, she now felt cold and somehow, feeble. The idea that these ashes could block the searing heat and radiant light of Seven Days to Die turned out to be only the beginning of her dread. She could feel some of her clones beginning to succumb already, not all of them thinking to use their sleeves as filters. At that moment, the sorceress decided to banish them all. In quick succession each one faded away into their books, which then teleported back into their suitcase in the Frenzy Camp, ready to be requipped. At the moment, however, other thoughts occupied Indigo's mind. When the first whispers came to her, she froze. As they increased in volume and her breath grew short, panic began overwhelm her. Were these truly the spirits of the tormented dead? What did she do to deserve this?! Frenzy Plant destroyed and killed at times, but never civilians or children, and among the soldiers Indigo in particular hated robbing someone of their life, even if they deserved it. Growing desperate, Indigo dropped onto her knees, torn between trying to breath and deal with the horrifying spirits all at once. The voices haunted her soul, clawing at it with grieving nails, and by in only a few moments it seemed as if Frenzy Plant's most proficient mage would unceremoniously pass out...if not for an idea.

An idea popped into Indigo's head. This isn't real, it said. It is an illusion conjured by Nolan to trick you into defeating yourself. Indigo's eyes widened, her terror converted into disbelief. Adrenaline kicked in, picking up some of the slack that her dwindling oxygen left behind. Was I really going to fall for it? All this for a lacrima! A voice permeated the darkness. ”You must think that I am stupid. My wit will blow you away.” Into her hand came The Yawg, her first and most often used book. In the inky blackness it fell open, its pages fluttering in a sudden, rising wind. Through the quiet void came a howling wind, growing exponentially in speed and intensity, and against it Nolan's Black Dharma could not stay together. When the ashes blew away, the voices plaguing it faded too, leaving a still-hot swordsman and Indigo, who now hovered a few inches off the ground. With closed eyes, spread arms, and long blonde hair flowing in the wind, the S-rank wizard shouted, “Gathering Gale!”

Across the entire arena, the wind picked up, chilling the air, spattering rain, and ruffling clothing. Overhead, the sun had vanished, leaving behind voluminous gray clouds. Its eddies coalesced into a chaotic typhoon swirling around Indigo's position that violently repelled dust, leaves, and anything else too close. With long, momentous motions, she reached in front of her, grabbed both sides of the floating book, and yanked it open so far that its spine threatened to break. There was a sound like an explosion, and from the pages of The Yawg thundered a wet, electric cyclone to blast one of Phoenix Wing's best swordsmen halfway across the city, hopefully loosening one or more lacrima in the process. Nothing was held back; by aiming for her spirit and nearly succeeding in puncturing it, Nolan had deemed himself worthy of her full might.

Owen Whately – Frenzy Camp

@oblivion666@raijinslayer@caits@liferusher

All eyes were on Ike when he descended slowly, the tumult of negative energy raging around him suddenly diminishing. The only interruptions of the Camp's newfound silence were the dying wheezes of the rogue soldier's blind hatred, followed by the faint swish of grass beneath his feet when they touched the ground again. Unclouded by malevolence, Ike's body appeared as if it suffered greatly, and the sights of his thinner body and whitened hair spurred the surrounding soldiers to loosen their grips on their weapons. They moved out of the way, cautious but quiet, when he strode to the perimeter's edge and beyond. Several hastened to bring their weapons into firing position when Ike bent over Isla, but Owen waved his hand, sensing the change in Ike's spirit. Every eye beheld him carry Isla to the center of the circle and seat himself in a universally-known position of surrender.

The soldiers, not sure what to make of this, turned to Owen and Jane in the ensuing silence. Even the former piratess looked bemused; she'd been convinced that Ike would be implacable in his wrath. Owen, however, smiled. He brought his rapier around, pointing it at Ike, then quickly and expertly replaced it in the mouth of the lion embellished on his shield. This he reattached to his belt as he walked forward, and offered Ike a hand. ”Glad to have ya back, partner.”

A few minutes later, most everyone sat on the stools left around the now-empty cooking pot in the Frenzy Camp's center. Joakim, and Leixia had departed to Tsubano's tent to relieve her of some bandages and antiseptics, while the sleeping Isla had been confined to the detention tent, but the rest waited, their weapons laid aside. Owen leaned over Argus, saying, ”Yer in a bad shape fer the stunt ya pulled yesterday. Embarrassed the whole guild. I'm don't expect that the General will kick ya outta the guild, though. Jus' make sure ya don't cause any more ruckus before it comes time fer yer judgment.” He stood up, navigated the circle, and sat. After producing a fresh wheat stalk from his jerkin and placing it between his teeth, he gestured with an open hand toward Ike. ”Don't worry too much 'bout punishment. Dependin' on what comes next, we might be able to getcha off sayin' it was a psycho-logical effect o' Isla's curse. I know you've got a lotta hurt in ya. So I'm askin' ya to let it out. Tell all of us what happened. We'll listen.” Owen leaned back, trying to look encouraging. He looked around at Chester, Gabriel, Jane, and Argus, hoping that they'd do the same.
