@Mr Allen J Somewhat revised my CS, adding more limitations, fixing others, and getting rid of one of the summons, plus any physical advantages in Three in One. Also changed the skill section a bit as well. I kinda want to avoid changing the powers as they are, but I'm willing to do so if necessary, though I much more open to just limiting what they can do at the moment.
Basic Information
Name:
Jackson/Michael/James DuCarthy
Age:
17
Gender:
Male
Appearance & Attire:
Jackson is a tall, lanky guy, standing at around 6'2 and weighing in around 170 pounds. Due to MIchael's love of movement and exercise, Jackson's body is a lot more fit than it probably would be if it wasn't or the voice in his head telling him to "run, Run, RUN!" His musculature is lean and while not as developed as it could be, is still rather tone. He keeps his hair somewhat short in what seems to be perpetually messy style(though whether this is due to cosmic interference or simple laziness is for you to decide) and is mainly a warm jet black in color, though he does like to highlight it at times. His eyes change color depending on who is in control of the body at any time are a pale ice blue(as Jackson), a bright mix of green and hazel(as Michael), or a subdued steel grey(as James). As far as clothing goes, that depends on whose in charge of dressing on ay particular day. Jackson likes to wear clothes that aren't really that flashy, but are still somewhat socially acceptable, usually some mix of a t-shirt, a hoodie, some jeans, and sneakers. Sometimes he wears sunglasses as well, if he feels the need to look cool and aloof. Michael, on the other hand, lives for the attention and constantly wears things that he thinks are cool or stand out in some way, such as Hawaiian shirts, leather jackets that have a hot rod design, ripped pants, pants that look like they've been sewed together form the skins of different animals, you name and he's likely to have it, or will be getting it soon. James dressed the most conservatively of the three, dressed in all black with a hoodie, jeans and shoes, and always trying to look as inconspicuous as possible.
Skills/Talents:
Jackson is an avid gamer, with a preference for fighting games and smack talk, and a class A procrastinator. Other than that, he's a good test taker, able to ace most exams without even trying on things that have to due with logic or memorization of information, though when it comes to more critical thinking type problems, he tends to flounder a bit if he hasn't studied the material . . which he never does. Michael loves to run, loves to climb, loves to do all kinds of things that require keeping the body active, and actually appreciates that his body isn't as fit as he'd like to fully accomplish any of these things to his satisfaction. It makes it more challenging, and thus, more fun. He also likes to sneak up on people and scare them, or prank them with a little bit of sleight of hand and reverse pick-pocketing(a trick he learned from some less than reputable people after unwittingly helping them with some less than reputable things.) James is a more introspective thinker, and unlike Jackson, is actually a very diligent student instead of a good test taker, always making sure to study the material whenever he can(and feeling rather annoyed that his brothers can take advantage of his hard work just because they share the same mind and body). He also likes to draw a mix of realistic and surreal images in his sketchbooks, of which he's shown view people and is rather sensitive about showing them to others.
Brief Backstory:
Growing up is tough, growing up with siblings is even tougher, growing up sharing the same body and mind with your siblings is hell. For as long as any of the DuCarthy brothers could remember, they've never had a single moment of real privacy, as they have always been with two other people constantly giving their opinions on early everything. Take into account that getting help for this kind of thing without being though of as absolutely insane is also quite damning, and for the first 8 years of his life, he had to deal with adults constantly trying to shove pills down his throat n order to solve the problem. It wasn't until their ninth birthday that people began to realize that maybe something else was going on, as that's the first day that they were able to switch bodies. It was a rather jarring experience for everyone involved when the usually calm, if lazy, JAckson suddenly started hopping all over the place like a jack-rabbit on steroids yelling "I'm free!" over and over and over again while other kids looked on in shock.
After that, as they learned to more easily switch between each other, they noticed other powers begin to grow that were unique to them. Jackson found that he could create a strange silvery substance out of thin air that could change form and move according to his will. Michael manifested the ability to phase out of the world in a way, entering another plane of existence where he's most people can neither sense nor touch him. And James found that he could summon beings from another realm, whether that be his imagination or an entirely different world he had no way of knowing, and having them do his bidding. With these new discoveries in their abilities, their parents decided that the best thing they could do(after apologizing to the two sons hey did't even know they had) was to send the brothers off to Academy 218 to better learn how to harness their abilities.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super System and Other
Power:
Three-in-one. Super System Jackson's brain is much more powerful than that of most people and even some computers, allowing him to blaze through most problems with ease, as well store and recollect information with little effort. His brothers can help in this regard, adding their own efforts to speed up the process, as well as dealing with unwanted mental intrusions. Since there is always someone inside of their head, that makes it much more difficult for someone like a telepath to try and read his mind or try and do something to him, as his brother's are always on the look out for such an intrusion.
Soul Projection: Jackson is able to manifest his soul into a silvery, mist-like substance that he can form into a variety of things, from knives, hands, hammers, blow torches, etc, etc. However, they come into two varieties: Physical and Meta-physical. Physical can be seen by all people and can effect the world around them, i.e. making a hand and using it to play two controllers at the same time or wielding a knife and stabbing someone with it. They can effect the real world in many ways, as he can create things fire with this substance, push people back with a shockwave, and so on and so forth. Any construct he makes with this power has a feeling of weight, but no actual weight as long as he's in physical contact with it. Meta-Physical, on the other hand, is more tricky. These things have to be symbolic of the effect they want to implant on someone, and only affect things that can understand that concept. For example, if Jackson were to make something to cause someone pain, he'd have to create something that symbolized pain and ave that person touch it. No real damage would be done, but they would feel as if they had just been hit with whatever kind of pain he intended to deliver. He can also use this to slightly sway emotions, putting suggestive imprints in peoples heads that, so long as they aren't aware of the influence, will have some difficulty resisting. These meta-Physical constructs are difficult to avoid because, like what they represent, they can't be seen, only felt.
Astral Phasing: Michael has the ability to phase into another plain where only the products of the mind dwell, basically becoming a ghost or all intents and purposes. In this form, he isn't bound by the laws of physics and is unable to touch or be touched/effected by anything the solely affects things physically. This makes him excellent at stealth, as he can walk through walls and avoid detection and danger without any worry for his own well being(for the most part) and spy on people without the worry of getting caught. Another ability that he has is that he can meld with people by stepping into their body, and while this doesn't give him control of the person, he can control how they perceive the world, either by making them hallucinate, giving them phantom feelings, voices in their head, etc. etc. all five senses are viable to be messed with, plus, if the person has no mental protection, he can read their mind with no effort at all, as he technically is and isn;t that person at that moment.
Astral Summoning: James is able to summon creatures to his aid, whether t be for combat . . or because he wants to talk about his day. Due to his non-confrontational nature, it's usually the later of the two, as James first instinct in a fight is to run away. Of the three brothers, James is the most powerful and varied when it comes to straight combat, as his creatures tend to be very strong in that area. He currently is able to summon one of six creatures at any given time.
Bob is fast, has extremely sharp blades claws, average durability, but is rather strong, never stays still, very fidgety, likes to eat but is incredibly picky, even though he doesn't need to eat, easily distracted by things like TV, likes to watch people play video games, has a dangerous stinger tail, but no venom glands, probably removed. Still pretty powerful, however, as it can extend up to 5 meters in any direction with explosive penetrating force, can't go through thick metal, though.
Chiller is slightly stronger than your average human, likes to make ice sculptures, can generate strange form of ice that is silverish in color and rather hard to melt and break, it's touch causes frost to cover things, if something gets completely covered in frost, it'll be frozen, frost coverage is slow, but very painful and hard to get rid off and only grows while Chiller is in contact with subject. He also has a strange attraction to human women, tends to stalk them if James doesn't remind him not to, weak to intense flames, but any low to medium powered flames will be extinguished by his presence, is always surrounded by cold air, sometimes snow falls if there is enough humidity
Silver is 7 ft tall, able to summon a huge ass sword, is basically a giant suit of walking armor, so it can keep a person inside of it, the armor itself is ridiculously durable and able to absorb impacts rather well to, but it's weak to electricity, ice, rapid down wards shifts in temperature. Fire and heat don't seem seem to bother it, or whoever's inside, claims that it lives around a sun, has a habit of busting through doors, never tries to open them, is extremely dense and heavy, so he sinks like a stone in water.
Crawling Jaw is about the size of a Monster Truck, has thick skin that is resistant to low caliber bullets, human-like intelligence, able to track scents with it's tongue, it's tongue is able to launch over 100 meters and is barbed, Greatly Superior strength, relentless hunter, faster than it looks, but still kinda slow.
Limits:
Jackson is unable to manifest or make use of his power outside of a 5 meter range, and for using his Meta-Physical constructs, that range is lessened to to 3 meters. He also can't use this power much defensively, as his solid constructs aren't stable enough to take direct contact. He also needs to have a certain amount of focus to form his constructs, so if he's currently suffering from good deal of pain or is otherwise unable to focus on his ability to sufficient degree, he can't use it. Also, if he's trying to create something like water, wind, fire, or any of those kinds of things, he'll be pushing his boundaries quite a bit. He has a upper limit to things he can create, so he can't surround himself in an inferno or bring about an endless deluge. He can, at most, create a large ball about a 2 feet across of whatever element he wishes to replicate, and doing so tends to be more tiring then making regular constructs, in which he can't make things that are overly complex(like a gun or a watch) nor anything thats bigger than he is. The upper weight limit of something he could summon would be about a Ton, but that's pushing it.
Michael can only stay in his phase form for a maximum of 2 minutes before he has to return to the physical plane, and the longer he tries to stay past that time, the harder it becomes to phase back in. If he stays in there for up to 5 minutes, he's likely to be trapped in there unless there something that can pull him out. Also, while his Phase form is usually undetectable, those who can sense people either through their Metahuman energy or have a Cerebral Power can sense him rather easily and some can even attack him directly while he's in this state, which he has no way to defend against other than phasing out of the world.
James can only summon one creature at a time, and summoning takes about 5-10 seconds of focus to accomplish. Also, after he's summoned a creature, he must wait up to another day to summon that creature again, and about 3 minute before he can summon another creature again after he's sent one back or they die. Also, when he tries to summon more than two creatures anyone day, he starts to feel a great amount of fatigue on his body, which only grows stronger the more he tries to do so. Going for 4 is likely to cause him to pass out, and when he passes out from power exhaustion, his creatures have about 5 minutes before they're sent back.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Jackson has to be careful when using his Metaphyscial constructs because, before he can pass the feeling to someone else he must first experience it, and hold unto that same level of intensity until he's able to pass it on to the next person. That means that if he wants summon to suffer a great deal of pain, he has to feel that same level of pain, and if he's not careful, this could cause him to lose focus on the construct and thus have it disperse before he gets the chance to use it. This makes it so he's very weary f using Meta-physical constructs to hurt or harm others, or even use them in the first place.
Michael is completely unable to interact with the world physically in his Phase form, and when he melds with another person, he'll suffer any injuries they suffer while they're melded and those will persist into the physical world. This also means that if he were to meld with someone as they die, he'd likely die as well. Also, when he infiltrates the mind of a Cerebral through melding, he can get trapped by them, and as a result, be completely at their mercy until they decide to let him go. Fortunately for him, melding doesn't count towards his time limit(thought it doesn't count against it either) so he doesn't have to worry about someone trapping him int he mental plane by keeping him trapped inside their head.
If one of James creatures die, he suffers from a very violent mental backlash, leading to violent spasming throughout his whole body and temporary paralysis. also, James has a telepathic bond with his summons, so if somebody enters the mind of one of them, they have a quick access point into the DuCarthy's head without having to go through the hassle of the other brothers. Also, while he can have the creatures stay in the world indefinitely as long as he['s in control, it does take a toll on his mind if they stay for any longer than about 5 hours, and while it's nothing more than a slight headache at first, it'll soon snowball into an intense feeling of pain as his mind feels like it's being torn in half, until he finally dispels the sudden creature, though the pain is still slow to die down and he's left with a cool down of about a day before he can summon creatures again.

While Michael is the athletic one, Jackson is the one who loves to compete, and can't deny a challenge, no matter how badly he might lose or how stacked the odds are against him. It's the only time one can motivate him easily into do something, and he's been tricked many times into doing things he normally wouldn't by making things seem like a competition.
None of the brothers tell people about the existence of the others, so except for the teachers and any friend's they might have, most people tend to be confused by the varied personalities they tend to have.
The brothers decide who gets to control the body through Rock-paper-scissors
James tends to spend most of his time alone talk ing to Whisper, his first summon and best friend, though sense most people never see whisper, it looks like he's talking to himself.
All of the brothers have a habit of talking out loud hen frustrated with each other(well, Michael always speaks out loud when talking to his brothers). so again, most people think they're crazy.
Jackson has resigned himself to the single life, as he doubts he could ever get a girlfriend when he's literally three people in one body
Jackson secretly resents his brothers for that, as well as being the only brother to figure out how to guard his thoughts from the others
@Mr Allen J So, as I was waiting for you to get back to me on my character, I ended up making another character that I honestly like way better than the other one, so see if this one floats your boat a bit better.
Basic Information
Name:
Damian Alexander Ahote Mallory, but he prefers to go by Alex
Age:
18
Gender:
Male
Appearance & Attire:
Damian is around the average height at 5'10, weighing in at around 162 pounds or so, a little on the heavier side of what's to be expected but he attributes that to some weight added on my his prosthetic arm. While he's technically a mix of Native American and Irish, most people wouldn't be able to tell. From his long jet black hair, to his tanned skin, to the structure of his face, he seems to have gotten most of his looks from his mother, the only thing he really seemed to have gotten from his father were the greenish tinge that spread out in a sort of starburst formation from the pupils of his hazel eyes, and a faint dusting of freckles along the bridge of his nose and upper cheekbones. His body is in the state of being well enough, as he makes sure(read as is forced to) do exercises daily as part of his physical rehabilitation as well as his father's attempt to keep him fit.
His body is pretty lean and lanky, not sporting much muscle to speak of, but not sporting any unneeded fat either. His torso, however, is a mess of scars, both surgical and strangers ones that seem almost like someone had scrapped skin from his body, leaving slight depressions in his skin. He also has these surrounding his eyes as well, but he starts everyday by hiding them with cover up to avoid questions. He hates having to use make-up, but he'd rather not get into discussions about how he got said scars if possible. That being said, the discussion comes up anyway when people see his prosthetic right arm, so it's always a question of why even bother most days. He tries to hide it by wrapping it up in bandages, but that only brings up more questions, making it a never-ending cycle of futility, though that's never stopped him from trying.
His usual attire is nothing fancy most of the time, and his winter attire is no different. In the chilly months, he resorts to a long sleeved grey thermal tee underneath a winter jacket, usually black in color, a pair of blue jeans, and some thick boots. If the weather finally decides to rise to a reasonable temperature, he'll usually wear a light jacket over the long sleeve instead. He wears a pendant around his neck, a simple one that has a piece of amber that's been shaped into a horn. It's the only thing he has to know his mother by, and treasures it dearly because of that.
Skills/Talents:
He's a programmer and a gamer, never having worked out a day in his life that wasn't part of a school curriculum. He's not super unfit, as he does make the effort to eat healthy and jog on a regular basis to keep himself from becoming a recluse(as well as it being a part of his physical rehabilitation), but he won't be winning any marathons. He also likes to draw from time to time, not being that good but not being that terrible either. He considers himself decent on his up days, and a complete and utter failure on his low ones. Aside from those two things, he isn't especially good or bad at everything, maybe being above average at his academic stuff, but that's about it.
Brief Backstory:
Alex lived with his father in the city of Verthaven, with his father being a highly respected member of the community and just the two of them living in two-story house in Union-Point hills. He had only the faintest memories of his mother, who had died before he could remember. He had never been told how his mother died, and while obviously curious once he became old enough to become aware of that fact, he never could bring himself to ask his father. He had always felt a deep sadness in his father, one that always seemed to grow whenever his mother was mentioned. He never told his father about this empathetic sense, as he had been able to tell when people weren't feeling well for as long as could remember and never thought anything of it. He just considered himself as good at reading people and never really explored it. Things might've been different if he had.
He discovered his affinity with Technopathy when he was around 7 or 8, when his dad found him flipping channels on the T.V. just by staring at it. His father was so happy that he didn't even care that earlier that same day, he'd been suspended for getting into a fight with another student. 'Ah, You've just got a temper is all, just like your mother. Haha, she would've killed you for this, but before worrying over you like a fussy hen over her eggs.' It was one of the few times he'd ever heard his father speak about his without any sadness in his voice. It was only years later that he'd find out why his father was so elated, beyond fatherly pride that is.
4 years come and go without major incident, with Alex's father trying and failing to teach him how to use his abilities, until one day when disaster strikes. As the son of a prominent Meta-human doctor, it was an inevitable conclusion that he'd eventually be targeted, yet it once his father never felt the need to plan for. he felt that with NEST and the police on the look out for the gangs and terrorist that'd try to go after his son would never be able to make it. His over-confidence in the gov't capabilities led to Alex being attacked and dragged off the street and into the Ghost Town by the Pure. He, and other children, were to be executed to set an example to Meta-humans everywhere why they should learn there place in the world. The air was filled with such a heavy cloud of both hatred and fear that it was all that he could comprehend, his senses being overloaded by it. He felt himself taking it all in, a searing pain roaring through his body, a warning that was over run by the flood of emotion he was experiencing. By the time the execution was to begin, one of the agent moved to commence, only to take one look at Alex, who was now starting to glow, and try to get a single curse out. Before he could, the world exploded.
It wouldn't be for another 4 years, at the age of 16, that Alex would finally open his eyes again, though he'd be quick to realize they weren't the ones he was born with. His sight was too crisp, too clean,, his eyes felt heavy in his head. ONly half-thoughts could form as he looked around, only to be suddenly engulfed by his father in a extremely tight hug as he sobbed hysterically, tears flooding down his face, which had aged so much that it startled him. Over the next few months, ALex would be told of how NEST found him and the other children after a huge explosion took place. They arrived on the scene immediately, finding Alex just barely clinging to life with both his arm and eyes already Ashing away, the Pure members being either dead or in critical condition, and the other children somehow escaping relatively unharmed. He had been rushed to the hospital, where his father himself had operated on him, doing everything he could and more to save his son's life. He succeeded in the end, but not without severe consequences. Alex's eyes and arm had suffered catastrophic damage and had to be removed completely, as well as his brain and heart suffering from serious damage that left him comatose and tied to a machine. Many saw Alex as a terminal case, with little chance of making it through anymore, and told his father to just pull the plug and end his suffering. His father promptly told those people that they could take their opinion and go fuck themselves with it, before heading off to his labs, determined not to lose the only family he had left. It had taken years of work, research and pushing himself to the limits of his ability for him to become the man he is today, a pioneer in prosthetic technology, and more importantly, the man who gave his son back his life.
The next two years have been spent on physical therapy, as his muscle had atrophied due to disuse over the years, and also making sure everything was functioning properly. Once his father deemed him fit, as his recovery was sped up through the use of his father's other machines, his father decided it was time for him to learn how to use his abilities and how to control them, especially his rage-based ones, in order to prevent this kind of event from happening again. In truth, his father wanted him to have his powers suppressed to eliminate the danger entirely, and Alex was tempted to do so as well, but then his father told him of how his mother died, using her power, which was a similar form of emotional manipulation only more focused on defensive use than offensive, to save his father from an attack from a powerful Meta-human criminal. She had never really made use of her powers before, seeing no need to, and while it was strong enough to save many, many lives, the strain was too much for her to handle and she Ashed away right in front of him. Alex didn't want to lock up his power, he didn't ant to live in fear of it. Knowing of his mother's sacrifice, he felt as inspired as he felt saddened. He wouldn't allow himself to be but in that same situation. He learned first hand that danger always comes when you least expect it, so he at least wanted to learn how to fight back. HIs father was against it at first, but once he saw the stubborn look in Alex's eye that was so much like his mother's, he couldn't resist and gave in. He worked some added safety measures into his arm and sent him of to Academy 218, hoping that he made the right choice. ALex, on the other hand, just hopes he'll be able to gain some control over his powers one day. PArt of his rehabilitation was some private one on one training with an instructor to help him ease into it, and while he made good progress, he was still terrified. The thought of how lose he was to death and how close he could be again if he loses control for even the slightest amount of time, it leaves him unable to sleep at night. But he wants to overcome this fear one day, and to prove that he is the master of his ability and not the other way around, though only time will tell if that remain true.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super-System, Elemental(Energy)
Power:
Emotional Empowerment: Alex gets better the angrier either him or his opponent get, as he can take that emotion and turn it into energy which he can use to either buff his own physical abilities, or increase attributes of his more destructive powers. He can also use it to give himself some impressive regeneration in a pinch, though that isn't without consequences. Anger, Hatred, Bloodlust, Frustration, and Fear are the emotions that he gets the biggest charge out of, but he can absorb the energy from all negative emotions, just not to the same extent. This also gives him a form of empathy in that he can sense these emotions in others, and can kind of take the edge off of it by absorbing the emotions into himself.
This can also reach a higher state of being where he enters a type of ascended state of power, gaining a very significant boost to all of his abilities, both physical and Meta-human, with the power to boost them individually instead being fed into lengthening the duration of this ability, though it will only take in negative emotion from others. HOwever, this is only achieved when he loses all control of himself and enters a berserker type state, which in turn, comes with it's own set of consequences.
Anger Manipulation : Alex's most destructive ability is that he can generate a highly destructive and versatile energy from within his body that feeds off negative emotions, with his base power being dependent on his own current emotional state at the time. This energy nature makes it so that it's highly hazardous to anything that comes in contact with it, eating away everything until there's nothing but dust left behind(An example would be that if he fires a beam of his energy at a wall, the initial attack may not be enough to bring it down, but the energy is still in the wall, slowly eating away at it's structure until Alex calls it off or the entire thing collapses in on itself). The rate of this degradation and subsequent weakening depends on how focused the energy is, and what properties of matter that Alex has morphed his energy into.
This brings us to another aspect of his powers, the ability to change its properties in a way that allows it to imitate other forms of matter. Currently he can only give his energy the properties of plasma, in the forms of Fire and Lightning. When taking on the property of fire, the degradation rate is much higher than normal and it can spread across surfaces just like fire can, at the cost of both range, penetrating power, and stability. When used on people, they'll feel like they're burning or on fire, but in actuality that's not the case so abilities that give resistance or immunity to fire don't effect the damage it can do, and conversely, people who have a weakness to fire will not suffer more adversely from it while in this state. The Property of Lightening gives the energy a much stronger penetrating force behind each attack as well as putting more of an impact and attack power behind every attack, but has a greatly diminished rate of degradation. Also, the energy doesn't gain any true paralyzing effects while in this form either, though the person will feel as if they're being electrocuted.(Ex. Using the wall again, Base properties would bring it down in about 10 seconds or so, Fire lessens that to about 3-4, Lightning lengthens it to around 30, though with Lightning, the initial attack would probably bring the wall crumbling anyway).
As a final boon, Alex can imbue anything both objects and living organisms with his power. When Imbuing objects, they gain a small field of concentrated energy relative to that used, and thus can do a fair amount of damage . . . however, the object is also constantly being weakened by it, thus making the durability of the item worsen over time. This is best used with Lightning form, as it has the slowest degradation time and would gain the most from this ability. When used on living beings, it provides the same effect it would to Alex, buffing a certain part of their physical ability at the cost of a rebound later. However, the rebound for others is much more severe, as their bodies do no have the natural resistances that Alex does. This leads to an intense amount of pain and a weakening of their body as a whole while the energy is inside of them, making for a nice set up for another, more physical ally to come in and hit them with a solid haymaker, which would definitely be felt a lot more than normal.
Technopathy: This is an ability he inherited from his father, in a weaker form, that allows him to interact with the tiny constructor drones in his robotic prosthetic, as well as the queen, which were built by his father. The drones and the arm are made from a experimental metal alloy that has been infused with Meta-human energy, making it resistant to the abilities of other Metahumans, and more importantly, allowing Alex to push his energy into the arm without worrying about completely destroying it. THis gives him the option for a more controlled approach to using his rage based powers, especially when he can morph the arm into a type of one shot cannon where he can fire a concentrated shockwave at a foe, form simple constructs with it(such as a chain or a shield), and even add an explosive impact to his right hook.
However, Alex doesn't really use those features, focusing more on his true passion: Coding, with a focus on game design to be precise, . With the constructor drones, he can create an access point to any computer as easily as plugging in his arm, forming a keyboard and getting to work. He can sort of interact with technology directly using his powers, but he's much better at fighting against machines with his fingers rather than his mind. Outside of his arm, his main use of technopathy is getting a free soda and typing in comments on youtube without using the Keyboard. He's currently trying to improve this ability, but he's hit a brick wall of sorts that he can't seem to get past.
Cybernetic Enhancements: After losing his right arm, eyes, and nearly his life the first time he lost control of his powers, his father, a powerful Technopath and a highly regarded doctor, immediately set to work helping his son to recover. The drive created from his need to help make sure this even never happened again drove his powers to new heights, allowing him to control technology down to it's base materials, and from those, created entirely new technologies that previously wouldn't be thought easily possible. With this new power in hand, he slowly but surely began to work on advanced prosthetics, a slow and steady process of over 5 years and numerous prototypes where his son was the main test subject. Eventually, he was able to get them to their current level of aptitude.
Along with the arm, he also has a cybernetic eye replacements, allowing him to see as normal, though they do have magnification capabilities(which causes his eyes to change like so when activated), a symbiotic heart implant, as that was also dangerously damaged during the even and was the first thing that his father worked to create, as he likely wouldn't have made it past the age of 15 without it. There are also a few others that help make sure that everything else in his body stays functional, as well as monitoring his energy levels so that his father can be prepared to assist him again should the need ever arise.
Limits:
Alex has reached a point where he's afraid of his own powers, due to the two events were he wasn't able to keep control over his own abilities. He's shifted away from learning more about it, trying to avoid it like one would avoid the plague. This means that he has a hard time keeping control of himself once his anger starts to build. As much as he may try, his powers are always trying to feed into his negative emotions, trying to get him to lose control and attack the target of his ire in a flurry of fisticuffs. This leads to him sometimes withholding on using his abilities, even when the situation really calls for it, for fear of losing said control and hurting someone he doesn't intend to.
Due to his focus on control rather than growing his power, his power output is rather low, making it so that even at his most powerful, none of his attacks will ever be inherently lethal by their own merit while he's currently in control of himself.
The constructor bots have strict guidelines set in place on what he can and cant build, as well as there own limitations. No lethal weapons are allowed, nor any form of explosive device. He also can't create a whole computer with his nano-bots, as that's too many fine details for them to manage. he could make a singular mother board or a keyboard and any type of connector to access any and all systems as long as he knows what it is, which brings us to another problem, he can't build anything that he doesn't know the mechanics of with his constructors, with the pre-programed abilities of his arm being the only exceptions.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The Queen that creates the Constructor Drones, which are rather small at about 2-3 cm in length, is embedded in his shoulder. If that area is ever damaged, or if the queen is ever compromised, then Alex will lose all ability to over his constructors, and maybe in his arm if the damage is severe enough. The Arm also has a weak spot on the inside of the elbow, so a strong hit there will probably rip right through and either remove or disable everything to the south of that point.
Due to his mechanical parts, even though the material they're made of was meant to be resistant to Meta-Human powers, are highly susceptible to strong electrical currents. So if Alex is charged with enough true electricity, then any and all of his prosthetics could shut down, leaving him potentially blind, unable to use one of his arms, and suffering from cardiac arrest due to his heart suddenly stoping. That latter is a problem for most, but for him the risk is especially high.
He suffers from splitting headaches and debilitating nausea when he's close contact with electromagnetic waves, as they interfere with the machines in his head. If one were to focus a beam or something of that nature of electro-magnetic waves at him, they'd temporarily short circuit and he'd be instantly knocked out, and stay like that for a good five minutes or so, give or take.
When using the energy to buff his physical abilities, there is always a rebound equivalent to the amount of energy used and how it was used. If he uses a large amount of energy to continue heal himself from injuries by upping regeneration, he'll soon feel a nasty rebound of pain as the energy begins to attack his body from the inside. If enough is used, the pain will escalate into serious internal damage, possible death, and Ashing.
When pulling in energy from the negative emotions for others, while he has no real limit, the more he does so, the less control he'll have over his own anger, and thus the more likely he is to go into a berserker rage. This is made even worse when he tries to use his own, which intensifies the emotions by a greater margin, and thus, have a greater chance of losing control. Also, the emotions he takes in will stay with him until he uses the energy in someway.
When he enters his ascended Berserker state, he is almost always assured a trip to the emergency room after words, cause if the wounds he's likely to receive as he looses all sense of self-preservation in place of wild instinct, the amount of strain this places on his body will undoubtedly take care of that for him. That backlash he gets from this crazy level of power usage is always enough to bring him to the brink with his current level of skill. This could be mitigated with further training, but as it is currently, he's very likely to die after using this state if he doesn't get medical attention fast.

Alex is a creative and romantic sort, prone to flights of fancy and chasing various ideals that pop into his head. He has a bit of a temper, though given his current status, he tries very heard to keep it in check, often taking part in things like Yoga, Tai-chi, and meditation to help him stay calm. Other than that, he's also a bit of a jokester, always ready to make a sarcastic reply or a joke, though whether he's any good at it depends on who you ask. Despite his near death experience, he's quite care free, except when it comes to his abilities, not really stressing much on anything.
Is currently taking remedial classes in order to catch up on the six years of school he's missed. It's a lot of work to do, and in not a lot of time, but he's busting his ass to get it done. That means that he tends to spend a lot of time by himself or in the library studying and practicing like there's no tomorrow.
Hates Carrots and Greens
Is somewhat addicted to sugary foods
Is a relatively open-minded person and always ready to make new friends
@Mr Allen J I posted a third character, but you may have missed her while getting the IC up, if so do you want me to find the post with her in it again?
I didn't expect to go to sleep and come back to a ton of posts of an advanced roleplay ahaha
Damien seems like a fantastic character, but I can foresee Allen having some problems with it. He has:
1. Empathy 2. Empathic empowerment 3. Manipulation of emotion 4. The manifesting energy can have acid effects, 5. fire effects, 6. and lightning effects 7. Technopathy 8. He has a fucking cannon on his arm 9. He has a telescope in his eye
You're dipping your hands in three unrelated fields of powers, it seems. The technopathy and cybernetics would be fine on its own (you might have to change the history a little, and, of course, the arm-cannon). Damien just seems like an overloaded anime with all of these powers.
But I do want to see you play this character. If you need any help, don't be afraid to ask.
@Spoopy ScaryI was kinda scared about that, but hoped that the treasoning behind all of that would help rationalize it. I will say that Alrx powers don't really affect the emotions of others, as feeding off them doesn't lessen the emotion for other people. I will be honest that the eye was more in line with rule of cool logic than anything else, but the reason why is am is the say it is is because it's to help him learn to channel his energy with less risk of over-doing it. That said, I'm willing to get rid of the cannon bit if needed. If you got any ideas on how to make the character mor acceptable, I'm all ears.
Edit: Ignore above about not affecting emotions, I was sorta half awake when I wrote that. Could definitly be written out though.
@Raijinslayer While he does seem better than the other character, I think he has waaaaay too many powers. Honestly, I think you should either go down the Rage Empowerment route, or the Technology route - instead of having both.

@Mr Allen JI feel like focusing on tech powers, just need to figure out how to rework his history around it. Main problem would be how to incorporate the Kidnapping event. . . hmmmm.
