Professor Sycamore stood to the side of the meeting room that connected the Lab to the sanctuary. In front of him was a crowd of people swarming inward from the lab's foyer, to his left was the elevator to the balcony level of the sanctuary and to his right a podium was set up haphazardly. On the make-shift podium stood his finest assistant, Val Yew. Val looked up from the papers that were layed out infront of her then began to speak, "Everybody please take a seat. My name is Valentina Yew, but you can all call me Professor Yew. As I am sure you are all aware, my mentor and I are giving away pokemon to any and all aspiring trainers who came today." She made a gesture first to Sycamore then to the glass roof and dome behind them.

"Contained within this dome are your future partners and friends. They are all young, unevolved pokemon perfect for new trainers. You may take any one you wish, but if you would like," She turned to Sycamore, "Professor Sycamore has some eggs to give to those who want meet their pokemon and create an instant bond." A small round of chatter came from the audience. Val began to walk off stage then realized she had yet to release them to find their pokemon so she leaned back and said, "You can go find your pokemon now, to my right are some boxes with essentials such as Pokeballs, Holocasters, and Pokedexes. Have Fun!" With that the woman walked off stage and approached the professor. "How did I do?" she asked, running a hand through her blonde hair.

"Marvelous. Now, I was wondering if you ever found that report you and the team did. It was supposed to end up on my desk yesterday but I havent seen it...." Sycamore said, all but ignoring Val's question.

"No clue," Val said, making an innocent face. "Check with Allan, he might have forgot to submit it." And with that she wandered into the crowd of excited new trainers.

Click her name for the theme song

Standing at the back of the large crowd, dressed in all pink, and with a small Buneary perched atop her head, Reira Rose was excitedly waiting to get a chance to pick out a new Pokemon. One would never tell by her expression that she was happy, for she almost always wore a blank look on her face, but she was. This was the first step in her getting to travel around with Coco, her Buneary, and meet all different kinds of Pokemon. She wanted badly to meet as many different kinds as she could so she could learn about them and how to properly care for them all. It was the duty of a daycare owner to do so afterall.

As someone started speaking at the front of the crowd, Reira pushed herself up onto the tips of her toes in an attempt to see over the taller people. She could hear fine, but she was unable to see the woman who was speaking. Once the lady said everyone was free to pick a Pokemon, people began to talk excitedly and rush into the large building all at once. Reira, being the small girl she was, got pushed aside easily, somehow managing to stay at the back the entire time. Noticing this, her Buneary simply decided to hop off her head and bounce through the large crowd ahead of her, disappearing from Reira's sight. The girl panicked at this, calling out to her Pokemon as it ran ahead.

"Coco! W-wait for me!" she called, though her small voice was drowned out by the noise of the room.

Fighting her way past a few people, Reira managed to finally make it into the sanctuary, looking around and seeing a bunch of people and Pokemon laughing and having fun. "Wow..." she mumbled, spinning in a circle as she looked around. She saw many small Pokemon run past her and between her feet and she smiled, walking around and keeping an eye out on her Buneary. She hoped someone wouldn't find her and think the little bunny Pokemon was up for grabs. Her worries however, were put to rest as she felt something jump onto her head.

"Buneary!"

Sighing in relief, Reira reached up to pet her before resuming her roaming around. She wasn't looking for any specific Pokemon, though she figured she would know which one was for her when she met them.

"Coco.... do you think we can find a nice friend here?" she asked the small Pokemon. She didn't get a response, but the indecisive bunny hopped off her head again and ran off. Reira made sure to keep an eye on her this time and followed, jogging a bit to keep up with her.

"Where are you...? Oh."

Coco had stopped under the shade of a large tree where a small pink Pokemon was hiding, seeming to be a bit frightened by all the people around it. Coco, being the outgoing little thing she was, went right up to the little thing and tried to play with it, hopping around and shouting excitedly. Reira could tell it only seemed to scare the little guy some more, so she knelt down on her knees and sat a few feet away.

"Coco, come here." she demanded with a gesture of her finger. The Buneary looked disappointed for a moment but obliged, hopping over and going to sit on Reira's lap. With one arm, Reira would keep her Pokemon still, wrapping it around the little bunny as she extended the other and held her hand out towards the frightened Pokemon.

"Come. We wont hurt you..." Reira told it, her expression calm and her voice gentle.

The little pink Pokemon peeked out from behind the tree and hesitated, looking between Reira and Coco who both simply waited. After a few moments, the little thing took some steps towards them and extended its short, stubby arm out towards Reira's hand. She kept still, allowing the Pokemon to take its time, and when she felt the small hand in hers, she slowly closed her fingers around it and pulled the little thing closer.

The pink Pokemon was easy to pull over and carry, as it seemed to weigh as much as a marshmallow. When Reira went to place the Pokemon on her lap, Coco moved over and the two creatures stared at each other in silence for a moment, both heads tilted a bit.

"Clef-fa?"

"Neary?"

"Reira?" she said, copying the two Pokemon, giggling a bit afterwards.

There seemed to be a bit of shyness at first, but after a few minutes passed, the two Pokemon seemed to be having an entire conversation with eachother. Coco had stood up and started making grand gestures and hopping around as if she was telling an exciting story, and the pink Pokemon clapped and smiled with excitement. Reira was relieved that the two seemed to be getting along.

For now she just had to wait and see if the little thing liked them enough to come with them.

As the woman left stage, Kaigra looked around him as the people all pushed him forward, trying to get to the pokemon that waited for them outside. For someone so lethargic and lazy as he, the noise and the commotion irritated him. However, the sight before him once he managed to get outside blew it all away.

He'd forgotten how beautiful it was outside today. A wide grin grew on Kei's face as he searched around the area for a pokemon that seemed to speak to him. He'd dreamed about this day. Like something out of a romance drama, they would lock eyes and fall for each other at first sight. He had one pokeball to his name, but he'd probably get more when he left. If there were any. Many of the pokemon were all getting picked up one by one and Kai watched with excitement in his eyes at each one before shaking off the thought and returning to look for 'The One.'

With a rather disappointed expression, Kai stood in the middle of the field, spinning as he continued to search. He let out a sigh, ready to just give up and head back home when he heard a loud growl. His eyes widened and he turned around to see a small Vulpix baring it's teeth and the crowl of small kids around it.

Raising a brow, Kai walked closer and laid a gentle hand on the head of a now tearful girl. "You'll never make friends that way, little one." He spoke to the pokemon, looking it in the eyes. It continued to bare it's teeth, it's eyes shooting daggers at Kai. "Jeez, I haven't even done anything to you yet. Calm down." He continued, chuckling.

Without another though, Kai plopped down in front of the pokemon and leaned in close. "Come on, Little One, don't be so shy. No one is going to hurt you." He cooed, smiling brightly for the small pokemon. It snarled a bit more before opening its mouth and letting out a small puff of smoke. Kai blinked and raised his brow yet again. A strange chuckle came from Kai's mouth as he fell over laughing. The Vulpix stared at him, tilting it's head side to side, confused. It stepped a little bit closer and started to sniff him.

Suddenly, he stopped laughing and his expression sombered. He lifted a hand slowly and gently laid it on the Vulpix's head. "There now. I'm not so scary, am I?" He said, smiling warmly at it. It simply stared at him for a good while. "Take a picture, it'll last longer, Little One." He joked. A few moments later, the pokemon turned her nose at him but walked back a bit to sit closer to him.

"If this is some weird way of you saying you'll accept me, I'll take it." He laughed, poking it in the head. "Are you a girl?" He asked it, as if it could tell him. For a moment, it didn't really move beyond swishing it's tail but soon, it's head turned back to him in a glare. "Okay, jeez. Sorry. You're a girl then. I get it." He returned, holding his hands up in mock defense. With that she huffed and turned her head back around, procuring another chuckle from Kai.

What a brat... I like her. He mused, smiling to himself as he watched her from the ground, nevermind that he never tried to get up.

"So... How does this whole thing work anyway? Do I need to check you out or anything?" He asked, mostly to himself. However, the Vulpix turned her head to look at him. "Hey, don't give me that look. I'm no genius, okay?" He told her and blinked when she appeared to roll her eyes and look away again.

This is getting slightly creepy.

Mostly cool, though.

With that, he jumped up and turned to face his Vulpix. "Alright. First order of business. Get some of those pokeballs before they run out! How many should I take? Like... 5?" He asked, talking to himself again as he began to walk away, not even paying attention if his pokemon was following him. She tagged along however, curious about this strange creature, but kept a bit of a distance from him. Whenever someone got near her, she would yelp and run to get closer to him.

He turned when she yelped, his eyes wide. "What happened?" He yelled, rushing over to her to look her over. She put her head down, embarrassed and would look up every now and then to get a look at him only to rush back down in embarrassment. Kai sighed and placed a hand on her head, patting her. "Come on, Little One." He spoke softly and picked her up, continuing to walk with her in his arms.

Anthony De Rossi

Anthony woke up very early that day. It was his first morning living in Lumiose City and if everything went as planned the official first day of his great journey. He had arrived there in the afternoon of the day before after coming a long way from Hoen lured there by his aunt and her promise of a professor that would be giving away pokemon that same afternoon.

Anthony had little time to get to know the city the day he arrived as he was too tired from the trip to function properly and spent the little energy he had to tidy the room his aunt had prepared for him and playing with his inseparable companion Jaws before falling asleep early.

Because of this he woke up determined to explore what he hoped would become his new home. To help him accomplish his goal and help her around the house his aunt Mary gave him a list of things to do before going to the professor’s event.

Anthony complied and took her Furfrou named Sandy for a walk accompanied by Jaws. Mary lived with her husband Roger on the end of the Southern Boulevard next to their restaurant: Restaurant Le Nah.

As he calmly walked with Jaws behind the strutting Sandy the pair looked in awe at every single aspect of the city, completely different from what they were used to. The well planned and beautiful city had a feeling of its own without a doubt.

He walked Sandy in a long semi-circle around his aunt’s block starting at the boulevard. When he reached Vert Plaza he took a moment to rest while he fed Jaws. As Sandy did her business he noticed Jaws had developed an interest in the green monument.

The pair stood in front of it observing. “Impressive right?” He asked his longtime buddy. The tyrunt gave him a full teeth smile before grunting in agreement. “This whole region is impressive. Its architecture, its pokemon, and most importantly its people are amazing. I can’t believe we are actually living here now,” Anthony continued excitedly while scratching Jaws below the white spiny scales around its neck. The tyrunt brushed against him in agreement and appreciation for the gesture lucky for Anthony he got distracted by a man roller-skating by and stopped gobbling down all the food they had brought for the day. When Sandy returned the trio stopped at a cafe before continuing their trip.

As he sat in the placid little place sipping on some ice tea he made eye contact with the cute waitress, offering her a smile when she looked back at him while Jaws was unfruitfully tryed to befriend Sandy.

When the waitress was attending some older folks Anthony took out the list and crossed out walking the Furfrou from it before moving on to the next and final item. Leave Sandy at the Friseur Furfrou it said. He looked around to see if perhaps it was located in that plaza but couldn’t find it there.

He reached for the map he printed earlier but suddenly realized he had left it on his bed. “Well this is inconvenient,” he muttered to himself puzzled on what to do next. Luckily fortune was smiling on him that day “Is there a problem sir?” the waitress asked as she approached him with the check.

“You mean besides not meeting you sooner?” he instinctively responded as he quickly changed his worried expression and took the receipt. “Excuse me I’m not usually this forward but the women around here make me act strangely,” he joked while he read. The girl, seemingly his age blushed at his remark. “That’s cute, but are you sure you don’t want help?” she responded.

“Well to be honest I’m kind of lost, I need to find this furfrou styling place and then go to the big pokemon giveaway on the lab but I have no idea where to find both places, but don’t worry I wouldn’t want to bother you while working,” he said as he paid. “Oh don’t worry, look its simple just exit the plaza by the left and then when you reach the avenue walk down,” she said while writing it down for him just in case.

“That wasn’t necessary but thank you, really appreciate your help Ms. Waitress,” Anthony said while standing up. The waitress laughed “Please call me Julia, here have my number in case you get lost again,” she winked as she added it below the instructions and handed him the napkin she had used to write on.

“Well Julia it was a pleasure to meet you, I hope to see you around now that I live here,” Anthony tipped his hat and went on his way. As he whistled happily Jaws shook his head disapprovingly. “What now?” Anthony asked his pal. The pokemon signaled back at the café with his massive head.

“Is this about Julia? She helped us man, besides you can’t blame me I didn’t even ask for the number,” he defended but the Tyrunt was not having any of it and instead shook its head once more and turned his back towards his trainer.

“Come on Jaws I know we had a deal but that was ages ago, besides I wasn’t even trying!” Anthony argued but Jaws simply ignored his pleas. They dropped off Sandy at the stylist and continued their argument outside. There, Jaws refused to move towards the event at the lab.

Anthony pushed and pulled on his pal for almost an hour but the Tyrunt just sat down and refused to go anywhere. Anthony tried pushing him a last time but the pokemon was far stronger than him despite his size and as a group of girls passed giggling he was too embarrassed to continue trying to move him.

This feud all dated back to the academy back in Rustboro where the two had agreed to focus on training and trying to avoid their most notable habits. For the Tyrunt it was the tendency to overeat as he always ate more than necessary which had started to make him slow and for Anthony it was texting girls as it consumed way too much of his time and energy besides making him distracted, what was expected from a hopeless romantic.

The two had passed that moment a long time ago and usually forgot about it but if one wanted to gain something from the other he would bring it up. They were so connected Anthony knew what the dragon wanted and with no other choice left he conceded.

“Fine you win. Sorry for accidentally getting her number I’ll give you double rations for a month, but please let’s get going we are already late,” Instantly Jaws dropped the act and smiled. He brushed against his trainer before cheerfully making his way towards the lab waving his little tail from side to side.

Anthony stood there amazed at how easily his own pokemon could manipulate him. “Sometimes you’re unbelievable!” he exclaimed as he jogged to catch up as the pair made their way down Vernal Avenue and towards the pokemon lab.

The pair arrived late at the event as a lot of people were already bonding with their new pokemon and heading for the exit. "See what you cause?" Anthony scolded Jaws as the Tyrunt simply shrugged as saying it wasn't his problem. "Well let's not waste any more time. You find our new partner while I go see if there are any Pokedexes or balls left," he sighed. He hated when Jaws got away with what he wanted and hoped his partner's rebellion hadn't spoiled their chances of finding a new friend.

Wave

Wave had stood in almost the exact center of the crowd, less out of planning and more because they others who want to get the back had simply piled onto those who had once made up the rear of the crowd. He had arrived early simply because he felt that arriving late would mean he would be beat to the good pokemon. The lab apparently had a huge amount of pokemon if they were giving them to this many trainers at once. Then again, Wave had always seen Professor Sycamore as a bit weird but was willing to try and find some time to have a conversation with him for it would, without a doubt, be an interesting conversation. But, Wave’s focus was now on getting out of this damn crowd before he was killed by the heat and smell being given off by such close bodies whose singular intent was to get into the dome and get their pokemon of choice.

Before the young Professor, Yew was her name, had finished her speech, Wave turned and walked back out of the crowd. On his way out, Wave couldn’t help but notice a short girl dressed in all pink. An odd attire for a trainer and it would certainly get some dust and dirt in it but Wave wasn’t one speak. He was wearing the most casual clothing he had packed and basically had only three other sets which were quite similar to each other. With the ending of the speech, the many trainers who had gathered started rushing forward and clearing out a lot of open space. Wave just casually waited behind everybody as they rushed forward and walked in after most of them had gotten through the door. The domed enclosure was quite spacious and most likely held as many types of pokemon as there were people inside.

Wave’s attention was drawn, albeit slowly, to a group of people crowding around a tree. Most of them were females and, from what Wave could catch, were remarking on the cuteness of a pokemon which Wave couldn’t see. He waited a few more moments before the majority of them left, some grumbling that it wouldn’t come down from the branches for them, until he walked over and identified the pokemon as a slakoth. The little slakoth was obviously resting in the tree’s higher branches but would occasionally open its eyes. At the sound of the approaching human, the slakoth opened its eyes and stared down at Wave as if assessing him.

”So, you didn’t like any of the girls ey? Not surprising, they seemed more keen on harassing you. No, slakoths like you just want to sleep most of the time and don’t care much for anything else.” Wave said to the Slakoth whose response was a yawn. The young trainer climbed the tree and sat on a branch just a foot or so lower than the slakoth. He rubbed the top of the slakoth’s head and it closed its eyes until he stopped.

”How about you come with me eh? It’ll be fun and you’ll get all the food and head rubs as you want. If your answer is yes, then hop off that branch and hang onto my back. You don’t belong in a pokeball.” Wave said to the slakoth who did not move even an inch for several minutes. In a single, fluid movement, the slakoth dropped off the branch and landed on Wave’s waiting back. He hopped off the tree and landed without any real difficulty and rubbed the head of the slakoth which now sat on his left hand shoulder. He walked out of the dome and grabbed a Pokedex, Holocasters, and five pokeballs.

Logan awoke with the sun that morning. Rolling out of bed he was greeted by his Golett, Oleg. "Good morning bud. You ready to make a new friend today?" Logan asked with a yawn as he stretched. "Golett." Affirmed the automaton pokemon with a nod. "Great. Me too. First let's get some food in us. Can't make friends on an empty stomach." Logan stated as he stood patting Oleg on the head. Getting dressed in his usual attire Logan made sure he had everything. Wallet, check. Backpack, check. Spare clothes, check. He felt like he was forgetting something. That's when Oleg elbowed Logan's thigh lifting up his pokebelt with Oleg's ball attached. "Oh, thanks bud. Sometimes I think I'd forget my own head if it wasn't screwed on." Chuckled logan taking the belt and latching it on around his waist. Oleg made an exaggerated head movement as if rolling his eyes. That is if he had any instead of glowing eye holes. Being a living construct had it's disadvantages. Now ready Logan and Oleg made their way out of the hotel room they had been staying in for the past few days. It had been a while since they last visited Lumiose, and they wanted to sight see before starting their journey.

After checking out the pair walked to the closest cafe and got a bite to eat. Blukberry crepes for Logan, and Kalosian Toast with Nanab Berries and chocolate for Oleg. They enjoyed breakfast then made their way towards Professor Sycamores lab. As they walked they could see others getting ready and heading that direction too. Kids young and old, and some evn with their friends and family making it a whole event. The sight sort of made Logan a touch homesick. He'd been gone a week and already missed his parents. Not letting it faze him much longer Logan shook it off and continued on his way with Oleg in tow. Speaking of Oleg. A small group of youngsters noticed him and started pointing as they oohed and aahed. One even going as far as shouting at his mom he wanted one. Logan just smiled and waved before moving on.

Finally they made it to the lab and noticed how crowded it was. "It's a bit crowded for you to be out bud. I'll let you back out when we are allowed in the sanctuary." Promised Logan taking Oleg's ball off his belt and returning him to it in a flash of red. Stepping into the foyer Logan then made his way to the meeting room. Finding a seat he sat and waited before listening to the assistant introduce herself and explain what was going on. After the speech Logan stepped up to the podium and pocketed some of the provided gear. A holocaster, a pokedex, and five pokeballs. Once inside the santuary Logan let Oleg back out. "Golett?" Cried the ghost type with an aggrevated tone as if asking what took so long. Oleg wanted to meet all the cute fluffy baby pokemon, dang it! "Sycamore's assistant had to explain what was going on. Relax, look." Logan returned by pointing a finger toward the inner part of the sanctuary. Oleg turned and stamped his feet excitedly.

Taking that as his cue Logan began to lead Oleg towards a more forested part of the building. He was feeling like he wanted something green. So a grass type was a best bet to be found in the thicker bush. Looking around Logan could see trainers scooping up pokemon left and right and grew ever more excited. Soon the reached the tree line began searching. Moving branches aside, interupting nests, and shaking out bushes. Their were some cute bug types and a snoozing hoothoot, but nothing stood out. That was until Oleg found something. Making excited grunts he got Logan's attention. "What is it bud? Found something you..." Was all he could get out before he saw the poor thing. A Chespin passed out covered in sweat with a Poison Sting dart lodged in it's shoulder. It must have gotten into it with one of the bug types. Logan scooped it up and carried it to the closest assistant availabe. He didn't have any gear on him he planned on getting that after getting his pokemon. To worried about the little guy Logan sat and waited to see if he would be ok.

She had been enjoying the time she was spending with her Buneary and the unknown pink Pokemon that sat comfortable in her lap whilst Coco appeared to be telling the litte one some random story. During this time, Reira just people watched, occasionally glancing back to make sure didn't run off somewhere. All around her, while she knelt in the soft grass, people and Pokemon were playing happily and meeting each other for the first time. The sight reminded her of when she would see travelling trainers come and pick up their Pokemon from the daycare after being on long trips. The smiles on the faces of everyone was contagious, and even she smiled at the sight of all the fun and excitement going on around her. Even though she was in her own little bubble, Reira was affected by the energy in the room and it even made her feel so many emotions at once.

Her purple eyes trained onto some guy with awesome fiery red hair as he passed by, and she didn't notice when her Buneary took that opportunity to bound away. It was only for a moment she admired his hair before she turned back to her Pokemon, letting out a soft gasp to see Coco had run off yet again.

"H-hey! Where... did she go?" she asked, looking around. In the distance, she saw her Buneary hopping over to a group of people who were getting some gadgets, and Reira was about to stand up and go get her. Surprisingly enough, the small bunny Pokemon started on her way back just as fast as she had run off. Reira was relieved when Coco came back to her side, prepared to scold her, but stopped short once she saw what Coco had brought to her.

"What do you... have here?" she asked, her usual bored tone was devoid of any emotion, despite her surprise.

"Bun-bun-bun! Neary!" she said, hopping around to sit back on Reira's lap along with the pink Pokemon.

Reira picked up the few items Buneary had brought back to her. Two Pokeballs, a new Holocaster, and some odd red gadget that she recognized to be the Pokedex some travelling trainers use. "Thank's Coco, but I already have some of these things that were given to me by Granny." she said, referring to the daycare lady. She reached into her bag, it being strapped across her body, and looked through it, pulling out a customized pink Holocaster with a little bunny symbol on the back. "See? Return this one." she said, handing the Buneary the blue one she had brought.

"Buneary." she said with a nod before hopping off.

Reira looked at the small red gadget then, the Pokedex, and tapped the center button. Her eyes widened when it opened and made a noise. She entered some information that it wanted to know, like who it belonged to and then it went to another screen. She hadn't realized the thing was about to register the small pink Pokemon on her lap, since she had been holding it right in front of it. A robotic voice started to come from the device, startling both her and the little pink Pokemon.

"Cleffa. The Star Shape Pokemon. Because of its unusual, starlike silhouette, people believe that it came here on a meteor. Many appear when the night skies are filled with shooting stars. They disappear with sunrise."

A moment later, the information registered and popped up on the screen.

"Convenience. So... you're a Cleffa?" she asked, looking at the Pokemon in her lap.

"Cleffa." it said with a smile.

"Oh. Well are you a boy or a girl? One wave for boy, two for girl."

Cleffa waved its arm twice.

At that point, Buneary bounded back over to sit with them again. Curious, Reira held the Pokedex in front of Coco to see what would happen. It made a sound and the robotic voice spoke again.

"Buneary. The Bunny Pokemon. Its ears are always rolled up. They can be forcefully extended to shatter even a large boulder. When it senses danger, it perks up its ears. On cold nights, it sleeps with its head tucked into its fur."

"Neary?"

"I didn't know that either..."

Looking at the two Pokemon before her, Reira decided that Cleffa was going to be coming with them for sure. They got along so well, that it was perfect. But... the little girl needed a name. As she was petting the pink Pokemon, she thought that the fur of it looked and felt just like a Pecha berry, and that gave her an idea.

"Cleffa... can I name you Pecha?" she asked

The pink pokemon hesitated before smiling and waving its arms happily. "Cleffa!"

"Well I consider that a yes."

Reira reached for both the pokeballs and pressed the buttons on each, watching as Coco and Pecha were absorbed into them by a red light. They wiggled in her hand three times before making a clicking noise. Happy, Reira stood up and placed the two balls in her pocket. She gave one last look around before she took out her map and starting making her way to the exit. She wanted to get to the nearest shop or Pokemon Center so she could buy some things, as well as a trainer belt.

Things were getting so exciting!

With the small pokemon still in his arms, Kai looked around the table at the things offered to them. He softly hummed to himself, calming the anxious pokemon in his arms, though unknowingly. He shifted her over just a bit as to free a hand to grab some things. He shoved 5 pokeballs, a blue holocaster, and a red pokedex into his bag before turning to leave.

He stopped just outside of the dome and set the pokemon down in a grassy patch nearby. "Now... what to name you..." He spoke, mostly to himself as he looked her up and down. With innocent eyes, she also looked him up and down.

"...pix?" She softly barked.

"Hm?" He asked, blinking.

"Vulpix!" She barked, again, louder.

"Well, jeez. That doesn't help me figure out how to name you..." He returned, raising a brow at her. She glared at him before quickly turning her nose up at him with a huff. "Alright. How about this. I'll list off a few names and you tell me which ones you like."

"Lucy?" Nothing...

"Roxy?" Still nothing.

"Elizabeth?" Just the sounds of people, bikes, and cars going by.

"Jesus, none of them?" He cried, exasperated. "What about... Akira? That's my grandmother's name..." He continued, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"P-Pix..." She barked, barely audible. Kai stopped rubbing the bridge of his nose and got down on his hands and knees to look at her.

"Akira?!" He shouted and the pokemon looked down at him with a confused look on her face. Another soft bark and then she turned her head again. However, she once again backed up to touch her back against him, this time his face. With a loud sigh, he fell back, sitting in the patch of grass with her. "You're a tough case, you know that? Right? Akira?" He asked her, shaking his head.

"Vulpiiix...." She whined, still not turning to look at him.

"Alright. Well... I need to get you into a pokeball, okay? I won't keep you in it, but I just need to make it yours, okay?" He told her, getting out his bag and pulling out the first pokeball he found there. Trying to remember how other people had worked their's, he fumbled with it before accidentally hitting the button that made it bigger. He jumped in surprise and dropped it, hitting poor Akira on the head. Soon, she was enveloped in a bright red light. Kai's eyes went big.

Definitely didn't mean to do that...

After one click, it opened again and Akira appeared, glaring at him. In one swift movement, she was on top of him biting his nose. "Hey, hey. I'm sorry, okay! I'm not good as this. OWWWW. JESUS. STOP AKIRA." He yelled, pulling her off of his face and into his arms. He pulled her into a hug and began to hum softly, hoping it would calm her back down.

I suppose that will have to wait for a bit.

He sighed and leaned up against the tree, still humming to his small pokemon. Soon, they were both asleep, Kai leaned against the tree with his mouth wide open and Akira turned belly side up in his arms, her mouth also wide open.

Logan sat in the lobby waiting of the lab for five minutes to sss if the little Chespin was alright before he heard the tell tale sound of sliding doors. Looking up he could see the assistant he handed the sick pokemon too. The older man had a happy smiling wiggling Chespin in his arms. "This little guy wanted to meet the nice trainer who saved him." Said the assistant before the grass type jumped from his hands and pedalled over to Logan climbing in his lap. "Chespin Ches!" Said the appretiative pokemon hugging his neck. "Oh my. Well, your welcome, but it wasn't all me. Oleg was the one who found you." He said hugging Chespin back before reaching for his belt and calling out Oleg. The moment Oleg finished matierializing Chespin jumped into his arms and hugged him. "Chespin Ches!" Spouted the chipmunk excitedly. Oleg was surprised at first not knowing what was going on, but soon it didn't matter as he felt the soft furriness clinging to him. "Golurk!" The ghost type exclaimed happily hugging the Chespin back. When the embrace was over Oleg and the new pokemong talked for a minute before Chespin nodded assuring and jumped back over to Logan's looking at him expectantly.

"I suppose this means you'll be traveling with us then?" Asked Logan with a smile reaching into his back pack for a pokeball. "Chespin!" He affirmed cofidently with a cute little nod and salute. "Ok, then..." He started to say before tapping the bal to Chespin's head. It channeled inside in a flash of red. Wiggling three times it clicked and glittered for a moment. "...welcome to the family. Now what to call you. Hhmm?" He pondered as he called it back out. Oleg and the Chespin celebrated with another hug while he thought. A long moment passed before he snaps his fingers. "Got it. Rook! Mind if I call you Rook?" He asked looking to the dancing pair of pokemon. Chesping paused in it's jubilation to look at Logan. It ponder a moment before nodding. "Ches!" Standing Logan gave a thumbs up. "Rook it is. Well with that piece of business settled I think it's time we head over to the Pokemon Center to stock up on gear." He suggested. His two pokemon agreed with affirmation of their own and followed their trainer outside the lab.

Logan and friends walked through the city towards the closest PokeCenter. Along the way receiving compliments on how cute Rook was and how cool Oleg looked. Logan thanked the nice people with a smile and wave before moving on. Finally they arrived and the place was packed with people. Trainers young and old, pokemon big and small, and stores out the wazoo. One of which was what Logan needed. Stepping up to the counter on his turn he requested potions, antidotes, and a paralyze heal. They offered a deal on pokeballs, but Logan refused politely and paid for the merchandise he had. Tucking it all away in his back pack he turned to find Oleg and Rook missing. Looking around he saw Oleg scooping up some girl's buneary and cuddling it tightly with poor Rook unsuccesfully trying to pry the rabbit from Oleg's clutches. Trotting over Logan bonked Oleg on the top of the head with it recessing into his body by an inch for a second causing him to pause in his actions enough for Rook to pull the Buneary out. "Oleg! What did I tell you about cuddling stranger's pokemon randomly. It's not how you make friends. You got to introduce yourself. Like this. Hi, I'm Logan, and this palooka as you probably heard is Oleg. The little hero there is Rook. Sorry about that Oleg has a thing for cute and fuzzy." He said extending a hand.

Anthony De Rossi

It took a long time for Anthony to find the gear everyone had as most were gone when he got to the bins. He managed to get one of the last pokedexes but was disappointed to see no holo casters or pokeballs remained.

Luckily he had brought with him a gift from his mother, one dusk ball like the one Jaws used (even if he never got inside it) and three net balls and a premier ball they gifted to her for the purchase of those but he didn’t know what to do about the holo caster as they said it was very useful.

It was then when he saw a Buneary hopping by with a blue one and deposit it on the bin. “Thanks man, you saved my life,” he shouted at the pokemon’s back as it returned from where it came from not being able to listen. Anthony made his way to where he left Jaws and wasn’t surprised to see him roaring at children and pokemon alike, looking for a worthy adversary to brawl and test.

Anthony calmly sat and crossed his legs waiting for Tyrunt to find a compatible pokemon as he inspected his new gear. He examined all the features the stuff gifted to him had and familiarized with every aspect of each piece by meticulously pressing every button or tab he found.

He looked up to see his pal get frustrated as none of the remaining wild pokemon were capable of fighting him as they simply ran far from the Tyrunt. “You are supposed to make friends not scare them away!” Anthony laughed as more pokemon cleared the royal heir’s path. The trainer tried to find humor in the situation as he didn’t want to lose hope about finding a new partner.

Exhausted of the roaring, Jaws slumped besides Anthony just falling victim to exhaustion. Anthony stroke his head and fed him some more food as he looked around, surprised to see the few amount of pokemon that were left.

“You tried buddy, don’t worry if it wasn’t meant to be it wasn’t meant to be,” he whispered to the resting pokemon. Accepting defeat Anthony would let his pal lay down for a while and then they would return to his aunt’s, or at least that was the plan until a crowd of kids and pokemon came running, half scared to death.

“He bit me!” one of the kids cried “Run! That thing will hurt you,” another warned Anthony as he passed running for his life. If Jaws wasn’t still beside him he would have assumed the Tyrunt was the cause of the mess but instead chasing away the crowd was a small blue quadruped Pokémon with black fur covering its head and neck, concealing everything but its mouth from view. The hair covering his head took the shape of a single horn.

“Well look at that beauty,” Anthony whistled elbowing his friend. The Tyrunt turned his head and looked at the pokemon with interest. “Tyrunt,” It cheered as he saw potential getting up with renewed energy as he roared loudly at the newcomer.

To his relief the pokemon didn’t even flinch and just turned in defiance towards where the sound came from. Anthony took out and used his pokedex for the first time. Deino, the Irate Pokémon. Because Deino never stops biting anything it can, it is dangerous to approach without taking precautions, the thing said. “You heard that Jaws? This one ‘s a fighter and just as hungry as you are,” Anthony happily expressed as the rambunctious fellow prepared to charge them.

Jaws was ready, Anthony had heard from his aunt that before capture some pokemon gave a fight and they had prepared accordingly. The Deino ran against them and tried to head-butt the Tyrunt “Use Dragon Tail,” the trainer calmly commanded as Tyrunt evaded and hit the pokemon directly.

The head-butt struck hard against Jaws’ attack but the typing easily won the battle and the Deino was sent flying across the field. Not accepting defeat, the Pokemon launched shock waves of pure rage which Anthony recognized as Dragon Rage back from the academy.

Anthony wasn’t fighting seriously as he only wanted to test the Deino’s strength but their adversary sure wanted to pulverize them. Not wanting Jaws to take damage, Anthony ordered him to dig. Once he came out the battle would nearly be over. As predicted Jaws burst up from the ground and struck the confused Deino so harshly it sent him crashing down hard, at the edge of fainting.

“You could never have won against us friend,” Anthony told the bruised pokemon as he approached it with the dusk ball. “You would have needed training to do that. We can offer you that training, and not just it but also a home and a family where you can act as you please and become part of something bigger,” he continued. “So what do you say? Do you want all that?” he offered. The Deino gave a weak nod as the strength of Jaws’ attack had been brutal and it was glad to join such a powerful pokemon. “What I expected from a Dragon type,” he laughed as he threw the ball.

Once safely locked inside, Anthony took their new pal to heal and then released him from his new pokeball to bond. As a kid approached to scan him with his pokedex the Deino tried to tackle him, only being stopped by Jaws’ convenient intervention who held his short tail down with his massive jaws.

“Calm down girl, you are quite the trouble maker aren’t you?” Anthony laughed as he patted and fed what the nurse told him was a female Deino. “That’s it! Trubel, that’s your perfect name,” Anthony exclaimed as he remembered the name of a rebellious character from a TV show he liked. The Deino thought about it for a while but conceded it was appropriate. “Deino!” It cried in agreement. “Perfect, well Truble this is Jaws, and I’m Anthony,” he said tipping his hat off to the female Pokemon.

“Deino,” it cried in response and the group laughed at a joke only the three of them could understand. “Well Trubel, usually you’ll have to travel inside your new ball but as you’re new to the posse I’ll let you walk with us as long as you don’t attack anyone. Deal?” Anthony said kneeling to talk face to face with his new pokemon. Trubel thought about it and reluctantly agreed with a sharp nod.

“Perfect, let’s get onto our adventure right now. You agree guys?” The two pokemon energetically cried in agreement. Apparently it was easier said than done because the three of them remained there for a moment wondering on what to do next.

“Or we could find help starting…” Anthony sighed as he looked around for someone to ask about the basics. All his aunt covered was until he captured his first pokemon, right now he was lost. Anthony found one guy carrying a slakoth over by the gear bins and approached him. “Hey man, I’m Anthony and these are my companions Jaws and Trubel,” he introduced. “I was wondering if perhaps you could help us.”

Amelia Averyonna

"Attention passengers, the plane will the landing shortly. Please remain seated and thank you for you patience."

Amelia groaned at the announcement, stretching as woke up from her nap and looked out the window. She was finally here in Kalos. Free from her parents oppressive ways but alone for the first time in her life. The thoughts both scared and excited her at the same time. Briefly getting lost in her thoughts, she quickly snapped back to reality when the other passengers began getting up in order to get off the plane. The trip from Sinnoh to Kalos had taken over half a day and the fourteen year old was happy to be able to stretch her legs. Grabbing her bag, she waited steadily made her way up and off the plane before setting off and exiting the airport, breathing in the fresh air.

After taking a few seconds to enjoy the sun and air, she shouldered her bag, containing nothing more then a few changes of cloths and whatever cash she had left over from her trip over here. Looking around at the busy streets, so different from her quiet hometown, she set off down the street. She had book a flight here because she heard that the Pokémon Laboratory for this region was located in the city. She wanted to be able to grab a partner and begin traveling as soon as possible. She didn't want to risk being found and sent back home, though she had cut her hair drastically and traded in her dresses for more casual cloths to help avoid such an event.

As she moved though town, Amelia eventually came across the building she was looking for with the help of several locals and the maps scattered around the city. Seeing a lot of people coming in and out of it, she moved over to a nearby wall, leaning against it and slowly lowering herself to the ground to rest so her heart didn't act up. After a few minutes, she got back up and moved into the lab, her expression a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

Joshua Tamashii

@Ryuzaki

"... and make sure you feed it regularly, otherwise it'll get cranky and it might end up not liking you. And trust me, you do not want a grumpy Snubull in your house." Joshua said to the family infront of him that was taking home the grumpy looking pokemon. As the parent gave him their thanks and their little girl ran off with her new friend, he sighed and looked around. He had been here a few days and, in exchange for information he was looking for, ended up helping with the event. So far he had broken up several fights, given general advice, and helped some people either find pokemon that suited them or the pokeballs and other gear they would be needing if they were wanna-be trainers.

Glancing around, he spotted a minor disturbance that quickly dissolved and nothing else of immediate concern. Seeing it as a free moment, he whistled loudly and was quickly joined by this Absol, the Disaster Pokémon sticking close to it's owner as it looked around the room. Joshua gave his partner a quick pat on the head before moving over the Professor Sycamore and Val.
"Seems like the event is going well. Your sanctuary should be cleared out by the time everyone leaves." He said to the two, a small smile on his face. "So tell me, what do you two plan on doing after this? More research on Mega-Evolution or are you moving onto something else for a while?"

Joshua's Absol, in the meantime, spotted a late comer and nudged it's owner before silently directing him in the direction of the young girl.
"Hey, Val, looks like someone missed the memo. Maybe you should go take care of that."

While Jean should've been paying attention to what the female professor was saying, he was more or less checking her out. If he wasn't here to get a pokemon he would definitely be trying to put the moves on her, which would probably earn him a slap to the face, get brushed aside, kicked out, or all three. It would've been an awkward conversation with his parents to why he didn't get a pokemon simply because he wasn't thinking with his head. There were plenty of others to go for later. For now, it's time to go find his first partner! With the rest of the crowd, Jean entered the glass dome to find it sprawling with pokemon. Never before had he seen so many pokemon in one spot! He didn't know what kind of pokemon that he wanted to get since he wasn't exactly looking for a specific pokemon to begin with. "Hm, I wonder what I'll find..." He sauntered around the habitat, unaware of two beady eyes coming from a tree.

"Gar!" A cry came out from one of the trees and a purple blur swooped down straight towards Jean's head at tremendous speed.

"What the fu-?!" Jean cried out just as he was knocked down to the ground by some unknown pokemon that was now knawing on his head. His left eye twitched and he grabbed the pokemon on his head tightly and gave a good tug to get it off his god damn head. "You little shit! Stop chewing my head!" He growled as he tried to get the tencaious creature off him. Grabbing its tail, he gave a great pull that caused the creature to let go, but then bitch slapped him in the face with the blunt of its claws. Oh boy, if this little bugger wanted a fight then by god he was going to get a fight! "Alright! Bring it on!" Deliquent and pokemon clashed against each other. A dust cloud had gathered up around them as if this was a cartoon and every now again a passerby would see them throwing it down like wrestlers. The pokemon headbutted Jean and at some point Jean suplexed the pokemon. While the fight seemed to go on forever, it was only really for a minute or two until the two were both laying down on the ground panting.

Jean turned to look at the fying scorpion pokemon and asked, "Want to be a part of my crew?" The gligar nodded with a fanged grin and raised its claw up to which Jean fist bumped. He hopped to his feet and picked up the wearing bat, scorpion thing and made his way out of the lab after picking up his pokedex, a holocaster, and five pokeballs. Okay, he should probably go home and pack up for the long journey ahead as well as stock up on supplies before heading off on his journey. In the end, he decided to head to the nearest pokemart to get some supplies before going home.

Meanwhile, Reira, once again, had to fight her way through a bunch of tall people just to get outside the building, the small girl stumbling as she didn't notice the step just outside the door. As she put her arms out and flapped like a bird, she managed to regain her balance and her purple eyes looked around to make sure no one noticed. Sighing in relif, she looked around to see if she could spot the familiar red of the Pokemon Center, but nothing seemed to stand out to her. With a light shrug, she adjusted her grip on her bag and started walking in a random direction, figuring she would end upon one eventually.

She was a bit nervous being in the big city on her own for the first time. As she carefully weaved through the people and pokemon running along the sidewalk, she was also admiring the beauty in the buildings that stretched higher than she could crane her neck. As she was looking around, she saw a flash of red from the corner of her eye and paused to look, slowly walking over to one of the many green trees that were planted in the center of the road. As she stepped around the tree, she reckognized the guy from the lab, the one with the firey red hair she was looking at before. Curious, though with a blank look on her face, Reira went to stand in front of the boy, intending to wake him up before she noticed what looked like a Pokemon sleeping with him.

Immediately she knelt in front of the guy, closer than necessairy but Reira had no concept of personal space, and fished around her pocket for her Pokedex. When she found it, she held it up to the pokemon and pushed the botton, watching at it made some noise and registered the small creature into the system, the usual robotic voice giving a small summary of it.

As the mechanic noises began, Kai began to stir, slowly opening his eyes as the voice rang out.

"Vulpix. The Fox Pokemon. At the time of its birth, Vulpix has one white tail. The tail separates into six if this Pokemon receives plenty of love from its trainer. The six tails become magnificently curled."

"Hm? Oh... She's a Vulpix?" He blinked, looking down at the still snoozing pokemon. Then, as if realizing what was going on, his head bolted up and he looked the girl right in the eyes. "OH! Well... Hello there." He greeted her, flashing his best princely smile. His voice somehow managed to wake the sleeping Vulpix as Akira lazily lifted her head to look around, her body jolting when she saw the all too close creature near her. She wiggled around in Kai's arms, trying to get free so that she could freely growl at this new person.

"Hey, hey. Calm down. I'm sure she's not here to hurt us. Right, Miss?" He asked, looking up at the girl with the lavender colored hair.

Reira's expression stayed blank as she returned the greeting. "Hello." she said, tilting her head as her eyes flickered from the boy's green ones and to his Pokemon. She put her Pokedex back in her pocket and greeted the little brown fox. "Hi. I'm Reira. I want to pet you." she said, her tone was soft and probably hard to hear. She looked back at the boy and waited for permission to pet his friend.

"Oh... I... I uh... I'm not the one you need to ask permission." He explained, chuckling as he motioned towards the warm ball of fury on his legs. Akira glared up at the girl, her teeth still showing despite the girl's attempts. Though, her tail lowered just a bit. Kai chuckled again. "If you want her to pet you, you'll need to stop growling, brat." He spoke again, pushing the little pokemon's head to the side playfully. She whipped her head around and glared at him before putting her teeth away and turning back to the girl.

"P-Pix..." She barked, barely a whisper.

Reira didn't hesitate to reach out with her small hand and gently ruffle the fur on the head of the little fox. The corners of her mouth twitched a bit before a small smile formed. "Cutie~" she said, moving her hand back and reaching into her pocket again. She pulled out the two pokeballs inside and looked at them, unsure of which one her Buneary was in. Deciding to just chance it, she poked the center of one and watched as a red light came out of it, and sure enough, her little Buneary popped out and looked around. Reira picked her up and held her out in front of her, showing the boy and the Vulpix that she had a friend too.

"This is Coco."

"Buneary!" she squealed, wiggling in Reira's hand, trying to get free and play.

Kai was too blown away by the girl's sneaky smile to even realize what she was going for until the pokemon was being presented to his face. A smile of his own formed on his face as he nodded at her. "Hello Coco." Kai greeted the pokemon. "You know, Coco. Your owner is very good at introducing her pokemon but very bad at introducing herself. I wonder... could you introduce her for me?" He asked, leaning over to smile at the small bunny pokemon.

Akira on the other hand was glaring bullets at the new pokemon. Where the hell had it come from and what was all of this? However, her curiousity got the better of her as she softly padded her way through Kai's arms to sniff first the pokemon and then the creature behind it and the ball from which the pokemon came from.

"Vul...pix?" She barked, obviously a bit concerned with the round object.

Reira put Coco down onto her feet and she immediately started to hop around them excitedly. She let her do so while she was gathering the courage to properly introduce herself. "My... name is Reira." she said, looking a bit shy, thought the feeling was a bit delayed since she'd been talking to them for the past minute or two. "I'm a new trainer and Coco... she's my partner." Her purple eyes glanced over at the hyperactive bunny. "She likes meeting new people. ...Who are you?" she asked the red haired boy.

He smiled at her shy introduction, odd considering her earlier boldness. Well... boldness was relative. "I'm Kaigra, though most people end up calling me Kai. You're welcome to refer to me either way. Whatever suits you." He returned. He looked down for his own pokemon only to realize she was still sniffing Reira's bag. "Maybe you can help me get her into the pokeball later on." He mused, chuckling to himself, "She seems fine around you."

"I'm a new trainer too. How do you... uh... work that thing? The pokedex?" He asked, and started pulling his own out of his bag.

Reira never took her eyes of the guy as he spoke, but as Coco hopped past her, she reached out and gently grabbed the bunny's ear and guided her back over, making sure she wasn't thinking about running off before she released her. If she were to get lost in the city, there would be nothing Reira could do.

When she was asked about the pokedex, Reira pointed to the small button in the center of it. "Press that then hold it up to a Pokemon." she said.

"Wait... It's really that easy?" He asked, sighing, mostly at himself. Reira nodded in response. "God, I'm an idiot." With a deep breath, he shook his head and held the device up to his pokemon who had her head buried in Reira's bag and pressed the button. The same voice that came over Reira's came over his and he smiled. Next, he did the same for the Bunnery and smiled at Reira. "By the way... I think Akira's about to go for something in your bag. Ahh... Akira. Stop... stop, Little One." He called out to his pokemon, reaching over to grab her but lost his balance and fell ontop of the poor girl. Reira gasped softly as she also lost her balance and fell back with Kai partially on top of her. Her Buneary looked a bit confused for a second and then it made a noise and covered its little mouth with one of its hands. Coco seemed to be laughing at her and it caused Reira to blush.

"Oh crap!" Kai yelped trying to get up off of her as gently but as quickly as he could. "I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?" He asked, frantically looking her over. "I'm f-fine, don't worry..." Reira said a bit shyly. Akira had gotten out of the way considering Kai was trying to pull her out of it to begin with and watched as her creature fell on top of the other smller creature. She looked from the two to the other pokemon and then back to her creature.

"Vulpix!" She barked, loudly for the first time since meeting Kai and got between him and Reira, growling again. "Oh jeez, Akira. Not this again. It was my fault, stop growling at the poor girl." He told her, patting the angry pokemon on the head. After a few moments, she stopped growling and turned to look at Kai as if to say, 'Then stop goofing around, nitwit.'

Reira blinked and stared at the small fox pokemon for a moment before giving a small smile and getting to her feet. "I don't think... Akira likes me. Sorry." she said, dusting off her butt with a few pats of her hands. She knelt and picked up Coco's pokeball, putting it in her pocket, thinking that it was probably time for her to leave the two alone. Reira normally didn't talk much, but somehow this guy made her want to sit and talk for a long time. It was a bit tiring considering she hadn't planned to wake him and his pokemon up in the first place. Her Buneary hopped up onto her head in one big leap, smiling down at the two as Reira adjusted her bag. "Perhaps I should get going. Where's the pokemon center?" she asked Kai, wondering if he knew. She wasn't sure where she was going in the bic city, and her map only outlined the major routes connecting the towns and cities. She knew she would have to stock up on supplies if she was thinking about going on some long journey with Coco and Pecha.

"It can be kind of confusing to explain, so how about I just show you?" He offered and already picked up Akira to head that way. Reira nodded to this and started to follow Kai. Akira was still growling a bit but after a few moments stopped and simply sat in his arms staring out at the people that went by. "Where are you from, Reira? I'm from Santalune but I spent a lot of time here in the city." He asked, explaining his own home as well.

Reaching up to pet Coco, she answered Kai's question. "I am from Camphrier Town. I grew up there, but now I live in the Day Care on Route 7. That's where I got an egg that was left behing. When it hatched, Coco was inside. We've been together for three years now." she said. She looked around the city at the tall buildings and shook her head. "I've never been here before... it's noisy. Route 7 is more peaceful." she stated matter-of-factly, lowering her hand that was petting her pokemon. "I came to get a pokemon so that I can start to explore the rest of the region." Reira was a bit surprised that someone had found her interesting enough to ask things like where she was from. This was a first for her, and she thought that maybe Kai could become a friend or something. She didn't say anything, just continued to look around, sticking close to his side in fear of losing him and getting lost.

Kai smiled at the thought. Maybe that would be nice... a peaceful place. Good for naps, right? "Sounds great. I'll have to visit Route 7 sometime and let Akira play around there." He spoke, still walking. Noticing her nerves, he turned his head to look at her before telling her, "Grab onto my bag's strap if it gets too crowded. And... if someone touches you inappropriately, tell me and I'll beat 'em up." Reira looked a bit surprised but nodded and did what she was told, just holding on to his bag strap. She considered any more than three people to be 'too crowded'. Kai laughed a bit before continuing, landing them both in the Pokecenter. As soon as they entered, a strange blue pokemon rushed at Reira's pokemon and scooped it up.

Reira squealed in fright as a random pokemon rushed at her and she closed her eyes, lifting her hands up protectively. She heard the sound of her Buneary also making a frightened noise just before the weight of her was lifted from her head. Reira didn't know what was going on, but she was going to get upset really fast if she didn't get her pokemon back.

Looking around Logan saw Oleg scooping up some girl's buneary and cuddling it tightly with poor Rook unsuccesfully trying to pry the rabbit from Oleg's clutches.

Coco fought and kicked her way out of the other pokemon's grip before hopping into Reira's arms. She looked down at the pokemon who snatched her, looking a bit nervous, thinking it was going to pull something like that again. When someone, who she assumed to be the pokemon's trainer, extended a hand in greeting, she slowly extended her own and shook it. That was... an odd greeting to say the least.

"H-hi. I'm Reira." she said, pulling her hand back and placing Coco back on her head. "Coco." she said, pointing to her Buneary. "Kai and Akira." she continued, pointing to Kai. After a moment, it seemed like she remembered something. Fishing into her pocket, she polled out the Pokedex and registered Logan's two pokemon, giving them each a pat on the head as she did.

Kai chuckled at the interaction, smiling with a small wave as Reira introduced into. "It's nice to meet you, Logan." He greeted him, holding out a hand to shake.

Logan smiled as Reira shook his hand. Thinking to himself that her shyness was cute. Warranted, but cute non the less. She then introduced her pokemon to which he apologized once more. Next was a guy whe was travelling with apparently and his pokemon. The guy waved when introduced then extened a hand with a smile. Logan took it firmly yet friendly before catching Reira register Oleg and Rook into her pokedex. Looking back to Kai he nodded. "Pleasure. You too Akira." He said releasing Kai hand then looking to the fox pokemon he was holding. He took out his Pokedex and register the Vulpix as it was called. He then turned to do the same to Oleg, Rook, and CoCo. "Sorry, forgot to do that when I got Rook back at the Lab. Speaking of which did you two happen to get your pokemon from the Lab? I've had Oleg since I was younger, but I got Rook today. Oleg found him in a bush poisoned somehow. I took him to one of the assistants and he wanted to join me when he got better. Cool huh?" He explained as Oleg tried reaching for the Buneary again. Rook stopped him by stamping on his head from his spot on the automaton's shoulder mimicking Logan.

Logan saw this and it reminded him why he was talking to them in the first place. Bowing his head a bit he apologized once more. "Right, my sincerest apolgies to both you and CoCo, Reira. Like I said Oleg has a thing for cute furry things. Another reason why I think he was so happy to find Rook. Fogive him he can't help it sometimes. Must be a glitch in his matrix. Make's him unique, and that why I love him." He said rubbing the back of his head embarrasingly before patting Oleg on the head then giving him a look to behave.

Wave stared down at his pokedex which was a cool, white version and perhaps one of very few white pokedexs which had been left by those who had gotten to the bins first. He thought to himself for a period of time that he would have to visit a store and buy some stickers for the pokedex as well as several type stickers for his pokeballs. But, he would do that later since he was rather hungry. Wave hadn’t eaten at all that morning and could tell that his stomach was getting ready to yell at him if he didn’t get something to eat. Meanwhile, his slakoth nuzzled against his back as he wondered what store would be the cheapest to get food from.

“I was wondering if perhaps you could help us.”

Wave’s train of thought was interrupted by the line said to him from behind and disturbed him greatly. He had almost found the place where he would go to eat only to lose his thought pattern because some new trainer wanted help. Wave turned around and look at the questioner who was almost the same height as he was. It was obvious that the kid was much more athletic than he was but Wave didn’t want to put the effort into any real physical training if he wasn’t going to use it. After a few seconds, Wave’s eyes finally washed over the Tyrunt and Deino which were beside the trainer and could, from all possible notations of the positions, be the trainer’s pokemon. Though, Wave could easily tell that the tyrunt wasn’t new to the trainer simply by how casual it sat beside its trainer while the Deino was newer, mostly likely acquired from the dome, by the tense air it gave off. Even a starting breeder could tell the differences between the two pokemon in their experience by looking at them.

”You want my help? Well, I doubt I will be of any help mate. I’m a new trainer too. Though, if you want to know anything about your pokemon I guess I would be your man. For example, Deino is blind because of the fur covering its eyes and rams or bites everything to get a feel of where it is. Thus, if you have a deino you’ll need to care for it much more often if you keep it out of its ball.” Wave said to the trainer who had questioned him. It was true that Wave had no idea how to help the kid nor nothing about what the kid even wanted help with but he certainly knew a lot about pokemon breeding and care so he could answer most any question there. It was a wonder that Wave hadn’t applied himself at all to any sort of training in breeding pokemon since he seemingly had an endless supply of knowledge when it came to him. Though, most of that knowledge was taught to him by his Father who wanted Wave to take over the ‘Family’ business after he retired. Wave had no interest in taking over such a boring job though and thus wanted to see what he could get done in the Kalos League if he tried his hand at training rather than breeding.

The Wescott siblings stood somewhere in the middle of the crowd with wide grins on their faces as they listened to the announcement. They got really happy when they heard that there was a wide selection of different pokemon to choose from within the dome that was behind the research center. This was their chance to start their own adventure into the Kalos region and they would not miss this chance no matter what.

Once the crowd was allowed to enter the pokemon's area, Drew and April somehow found themselves with the first that were entering the Dome. "Okay, here is the plan Sis. We will split up and find our partners separately before meeting back here at the entrance." Drew told April as he handed her a poke ball and a pokedex.

"Sounds good. Bet you I get a better partner than you." She replied with a grin accepting the pokeball and pokedex and stashing them away where they could be grabbed later. With that, they were off in opposite directions each looking for their own partners.

April ended up near a dark looking cave that somehow appealed to her. She heard some pokemon within the cave and decided to check out what could be waiting inside to be discovered. She fished a small flashlight out of her pocket before stepping into the cave. The beam of light swept the inside of the cave falling upon several zubats and woobats before falling on a single Noibat hanging from the ceiling by itself. April quietly crept through the cave before tripping when suddenly her foot caught on a small rock causing her to trip and crash to the ground.

The sound caused the startled pokemon to flee farther into the cave except for the Noibat who was carious enough to find out what had caused the noise. The small pokemon perched itself on April's shoulder and nudged her head to make sure that she was okay. "Don't worry. I am alright." She said with a smile as she patted the Noibat on her head. "Do you think you can help me out of this cave? It seems that I broke my flashlight when I fell."

The Noibat nodded even though April couldn't see the nod and grabbed a hold of her sleeve and started to pull her in the direction of the entrance. Once they broke out into the light, April got to look at the purple pokemon and pulled the little thing into a hug. "Your so adorable. How would you like to join me on my adventures as my partner?" When the pokemon broke free of the hug she responded with a cheerful noise and picked a comfortable spot on the girl's shoulder. "Awesome. Than we should be getting back to my brother. He is off finding his own partner right now."

Meanwhile, Drew was off trying to find his own pokemon to start his adventure. He somehow stumbled upon a group of steel type pokemon which he knew a bit about thanks to his parent's research. Drew sat down at the edge of the field wondering which pokemon would be a good fit for him. While deep in thought he didn't notice a lone Beldum drift over to where he was sitting and started to nudge him to get his attention. "Okay, okay. I get it you want to come with him." He said with a smile as he held up his pokeball which the Beldum tapped to activate it and disappeared into the pokeball. "Interesting pokemon." Drew muttered as he stood up and decided to head back to the entrance to meet his sister.

” You want my help? Well, I doubt I will be of any help mate. I’m a new trainer too. Though, if you want to know anything about your pokemon I guess I would be your man. For example, Deino is blind because of the fur covering its eyes and rams or bites everything to get a feel of where it is. Thus, if you have a deino you’ll need to care for it much more often if you keep it out of its ball.”

"No wonder you are so agressive girl," Anthony laughed as he vigorously patted Truble. "Well I don't know much about taking care of pokemon as individuals only know about battles and training," he admitted. It was then when he came up with a great idea. "Perhaps if you're up for it we can team up. You can help me learn about pokemon and I'll teach you about how to improve your battling skills?" he offered.

Wave thought over the offer which had been extended to him by the trainer he had just met. While it certainly was not rare for trainers to pair together, he had yet to see other trainers in the area do it. Then again, other trainers might have already teamed up before the meeting. Which meant Wave was left behind once again! "That'd probably be good. I've never been much of one to battle anyway and traveling with somebody else wouldn't be nearly as boring as traveling alone. Anyway, name's Wave. I guess it's nice to meet ya'. And this girl here," Wave says as he motions toward the Slakoth looking over his shoulder, "is...well I don't really know what to call her. Never been good with names, sorry girl." Wave finished his statement by rubbing his Slakoth on the top of her head.

"A pleasure meeting you Wave, I'm Anthony but you can call me Tony. My two pals here are Jaws and Truble. As for your friend there don't worry her name will come naturally," Anthony greeted, tipping his hat as usual. Jaws offered a warm cry as a greeting and Trubel as usual gave the pair a disregarding nod. "So are you from around here? I'm from Hoenn and this is my first time in Kalos so excuse me for being a tad lost," he said.

A trainer from Hoenn in Kalos, now that is something new. Wave thought to himself as he thought about what to do. He had only been in Lumiose city three times with his Father and that was along time ago so his memory of the city was rather fuzzy. "Yeah, I was born here in Kalos, my Father runs a Breeding Center in Coumarine. Uh, I don't know how Hoenn does it over there but, here in Kalos, we have our Pokecenter and Pokemarts in the same building. Makes it easier since you'll be going to the Centers several times anyway and you don't have to walk or pay for a ride over to the Mart." Wave said as he pointed to a Center across the street. The road was slightly quiet so it was easier to get across and thus, rather than paying for a ride across the street, Wave simply motioned for Tony to follow him.

The pair and their pokemon made it across the Southern Boulevard without an incident and walked inside the Center sitting at the corner. " Well, this is the Center mate. In the front is the Nurses' station and in the back of the Center are the Marts, normally. We should probably go get some supplies before we go anywhere." Wave said as he pointed to front desk which had a waiting nurse at it and a door which led further back into the Center. He walked over to the desk of the Mart and started to look at the products, wondering what he really would need before going to Santalune.

Anthony liked his new partner, the guy was cool and good company. "Well back home these are separate buildings but I can see how combining them is a bit more efficient," he responded as he looked around surprised at the vast differences between regions. Jaws was equally amazed and eagerly explored the place going from one spot to another sniffing what he could. Truble instead remained by his side, being blind and all she didn't care much about exploring. "Well my girl I think it would be better if you chill in your ball until we are once again on the hunt," Anthony told her. "Deino!" Trubel responded eager to leave that loud place. Anthony put her back in the ball and then went to join Wave on the mart.

He noticed his new friend was inspecting the items and decided to help. "My aunt, the one who is taking me in while I'm here, told me the first gym was run by some bug loving photographer right?" he said while reaching for the antidotes and parlyz heals. "If bugs here are anything like the ones back home it is important to be prepared for their nasty surprises," he explained. "And well potions are always welcome when they manage to land some blows," Anthony added them to the cart Jaws had brought. "As for supplies don't worry my aunt Mary's husband promised he would cover my trip's food so I'll just tell him its rations for a group now. Roger is pretty chill, he'll gladly feed both of us," Anthony informed as he organized their cart.

"Well, that certainly saves us some time. Means I don't have to make meals for us. Though, I'll still probably make food for my pokemon. If you want, I can make a special meal plan for Truble and Jaws." Wave said as he opened his wallet. His Father had given him money for caring for the pokemon at the ranch for the past two years and Wave never really had anything to spend it on. He could afford to spend a few bills to pay for the potions and status heals. Though, he could probably also afford to cover everything's cost for about a month but he would prefer to only have to pay for the items and pokefood. "We should probably head out for now. I don't know if we'll really need all these items since rock types like Tyrunt are hardly effected by bug types. I'll have more need for them then you really with this girl here." Wave said as he paid for the items and scratched his Slakoth's head.

"That is true, I hope Jaws will enjoy himself fighting there," Anthony replied. Once out of the mart Anthony invited Wave to sit so the new team could get to know each other a bit better. "So, why did you decide to begin this journey?" he asked.

"Hmm, I guess the reason that I started this was because I want to see what I want. I use to think about being a breeder but my Father was one and he made out to be a terrible Father. After that, I had no idea what I wanted to do so I decided to try the League. How about you mate?" Wave said as he passed Slakoth on to his lap.

"I want to be the among the best trainers in Kalos and later Hoenn if possible, It has always been my dream and now that my first two pokemon are Dragon I plan to conquer both leagues with only Dragon type pokemon," he took a pause to scratch Jaws before returning his attention towards Wave. "But for now I'll focus on my short term goal: Santalune. What do you know about that gym leader Viola?"

"All I really know is that she uses bug types. They probably have some grass type moves with them which would be a hinderance if you had a pure ground type. It should be easy to beat her. You'll have difficulty with the Fairy type gym in Laverre but you should have the skill to beat Valerie." Wave stated rather plainly. Honestly, he knew little about what fairy types were even weak against so he wasn't any help there.

"I see, well in that case we'll just have to train hard and be ready for anything, right partner?" He asked Jaws. "Runt!" the Tyrunt responded with energy. "Hey Wave, since you know a lot about pokemon what do you feed them here in Kalos? I mean for contests, like in Hoenn we give them pockeblocks and over on Sinnoh they feed them poffins. Kalos must have its own thing right?" Anthony asked. Even if he was soley focusing on beating gyms it would be nice to know in case a contest ever showed up.

"Well, we feed them pokepuffs to keep them happy. They are sort of like little muffins for pokemon. From what I know, they taste a bit weird but can be eat by people like us. But, I prefer to feed the pokemon at the ranch my homemade mix of berries, meat, and vegies for them to eat." Wave said after thinking for a little while. He hadn't thought about pokepuffs in a long time and it had been forever since he had left the ranch. It was certainly something he didn't do often anymore.

They chatted for a while longer, sharing lots of facts about each other and talked about all sorts of topics before finally deciding to move on. Anthony had suggested to go back to the lab as he had accidentally left his duffel bag laying in the sanctum and was worried he would lose it. The group quickly crossed the street and recovered the missing bag but when proceeding to the exit Anthony got distracted.

"Dude," he caught Wave's attention. "Look at that girl," he mouthed, discreetly pointing at a female holding a noibat near the pokeball bins, she was clearly looking around waiting for someone. "Should I go talk to her? She's very attractive," he asked combing his hair and carefully adjusting his hat.

"I guess she's pretty cute. You could go talk to her or, if you are too chicken, I'll introduce." Wave said before he was cut off by the armo of his Slakoth covering his mouth. He struggled a few moments to get her of his head before she simply slide back down to his shoulders. Wave took a couple of quick breaths to regain his composure before he spoke again. "Well, I guess I'm not introducing anybody to anybody. I've got my own traveling Mother here. I guess I'll call you Mum then girl. Do you like that mate?" Wave said to his slakoth who slowly blinked at him and then scratched her head. He took that as a yes and simply didn't pressure the point since he wouldn't have gotten an answer from her in the first place.

Anthony laughed at the couple before making up his mind. "Well, let's see what happens" he sighed before making his way towards the girl. Anthony was usually very confident when it came to talking but as he got closer to that girl and could see she was prettier than he had imagined he was at a loss for words. "Um... Noibat," he managed to clumsily mumble when he stood right in front of her.

"Sorry about my friend here mate, seems he really likes your Noibat. His name is Tony, I'm Wave, this tyrunt here is Jaws, and my slakoth here is Mum." Wave said as he made a save for Tony. He of course was looking to have some fun with the woman and the probably embarresed Tony. His remark about the Noibat was a clever cover which Wave felt was able to cover Tony's true reason of walking up to her. Wave simply waited for the woman's response as Mum crawled further up his shoulders to see the woman whom Wave was talking to.

With her Buneary in hand, Reira moved away from the two boys and their pokemon and made her way further into the Pokemon Center. She passed a few trainers who were talking amongst themselves and some who were handing their pokeballs into a pink haired lady behind the counter. Everything seemed new and exciting to her, but Reira's objective was to go to the Mart at the back of the Center and buy some supplies for her journey. There were two men standing behind a blue counter and as she approached, Coco jumped out of her arms and onto it. The mischievous bunny had a glint in her eye just before she took off. Sighing, Reira reached into her pocket and grabbed the pokemon's empty ball and tossed it before Coco had a chance to evade. It hit the little thing right on the head and absorbed her before she knew what was happening.

Silently, Reira went to retrieve the pokeball before returning to the store counter and peering through the glass.

"How can I help you?" one of the men said to her.

She pointed to the shelf of small red and white pokeballs.

"Alright, how many would you like?"

She held up five fingers, continuing to look around.

"Anything else?" he asked her, taking them out and placing them on the counter.

Reira pointed to the potion sprays.

"How many would you like?" he asked her, reaching for them.

She held up five fingers, pointing to the antidote, awakening, paralysis, burn and ice healing sprays.

"Five of each?" he asked.

She nodded, thinking it was better to be prepared.

"You don't talk much, do you?" the shop guy said. Reira smiled and shook her head. The man shrugged. "Well, you wouldn't be the first one I've met who keeps to themselves like that. It's not a bad quality to have... anyway, is that all you need?" he asked. Reira nodded. "Yes, thank you."

"Oh, she speaks!" he said laughing lightly. "Alright, that's going to be 5000 pokedollars." he told her.

As he bagged up all her items, she was pulling out the money when she remembered something.

"Do you... sell trainer belts?" she asked, placing the money in the hand of the clerk.

"Yes we do, would you like one?" he asked her. She nodded and he held up a finger for her to wait a moment while he turned and rustled through some boxes behind him. When he found one, he turned back to her and placed the belt in the bag with the rest of the items and pushed it towards her. "That'll be another 500 pokedollars." he told her. She gave him the money and smiled as she took her bag of items .

"Please come again." he said, returning the smile.

"Thank you... I will."

Reira hurried off then and went to sit down on one of the free chairs in the lounge area of the Center, spotting Kai and Logan doing their own thing when she gave a quick look around. First thing was first. Reira needed to organize her brand new bag that she'd gotten before coming to the city. She placed all her items inside, including her pokedex and organized everything based on what items were similar. Thankfully, she had enough pouches to do so, and the items were all so small, they could fit in her little pink bag.

When she was done, she took out a permanent black marker and reached into one of her pockets, taking out the two pokeballs inside and pressing the buttons to release Coco and Pecha. The Buneary and Clefa both looked surprised when they were released, and before Coco could run off, she held up a finger.

"Stay." she said firmly, looking at the bunny pokemon. Thankfully, both of them came over to sit next to her, looking at what she was doing. Reira took the permanent market and drew on one of the pokeballs, making the shape of a bunny head, and on the other, a star. "There." she said, closing the marker and showing them the balls. "Now we know which pokeball belongs to you."

"Neary!"

"Clef-fa!"

Reira smiled at the two of them before returning them to their respective balls and standing up, attaching them to the black trainer belt before placing it around her waist. The belt was a bit large on her so it fell to rest on her hips, but she didn't mind. She finally felt like a real trainer and it was really, really cool. Grabbing her bag, she would adjust it to comfortably rest on her shoulder before moving to the door, though she paused before leaving.

She wondered if she should say goodbye to Logan and Kai, thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to register them on her Holocaster or maybe ask them to come along with her. She would probably be safer with them around, seeing as they looked tough. Though she was too shy to decide, and so she ended up standing there by the door, looking embarrassed and highly indecisive.

"Oh my baby boy is finally leaving!" A large, muscular man with a shaved head and a five o'clock shadow cried out in between his sobs. He wore an apron with a smiling Munchlax eating a bowl of ramen noodles with the diner's name, Hataka's Place. To give a little history of the place, despite being a diner among the many fancy restaurants of Lumiose City, Hataka's Place is actually a five star facility. It's been widely recognized by many reviewers to be one of the best eating establishments in Kalos and the cheapest of the five star restaurants. It is a small hole in the wall serving common, ordinary food though with different takes and such high quality that the close minded gourmets of the world were astounded. The food served was a mix of Kalosian and Johtonese delicacies, a strange marriage of two entirely different cultures that somehow works remarkably well.

The diner earned its stars and was successful, but there are still those that are very hesitant to step foot into it. Some of the customers were mob bosses, gym leaders, heads of many businesses, government agency heads, and occasionally an elite four member among the normal customers. If any of those kinds of people met up with each other, chances were that it would get messy, but the diner was a place where they did not pull anything. There was one person that scared them all. It wasn't the large muscular man that many assume would be intimidating with his appearance alone. It was his wife that was truly terror incarnate. Speaking of which...

"Oh shut up! Your boy is going to a journey, not dying! Jean's mother yelled at the muscular man, Jean's father and the owner of the restaurant. Even though she was the mother of a nineteen year old boy, she was still in her mid-thirties and had the majority of the features that Jean inherited from her, including her personality traits. Yes, this woman was what kept from any fights from bursting out of the restaurant. This pretty, dainty blue haired woman is what scared the hell out of even mob bosses. She'll suplex any idiot thinking of starting a riot in her restaurant and if someone was foolish enough to run off without paying then expect this woman to chase after him with a Drapion by her side. Yeah, she was a scary woman and someone to not mess with.

"By the way Jean, make sure to advertise our restaurant while you're out. Free is always better." His mother said with dollar bill eyes and held up a t-shirt with the diner's logo on it.

"Oh hell no! Ya fucking crazy if ya think I'm gonna wear that!" Jean slammed his hand on the counter.

"Boy you're going to wear it! You're going to help us with the business even when you're hauling ass from a pack of Taurus!" His mother slammed her hand on the counter as well, the both of them looked like they were going to go ham on each other.

"U-um sweetie, Jean? How about we both calm down and-?"

"Shut up!" The mother and son said at once.

Much later, Jean walked out with his backpack and his parents standing outside of the diner, his father sobbing on his mother's shoulder who looked quite a bit annoyed with her spineless husband. Still, she wasn't soulless. Inside she was going to miss her son.

April was humming quietly to herself and her Noibat who responded with short vibrations of her large ears. She was trying to kill time while waiting for Drew and that was best spend by getting to know her new partner. "I think I'll call you Boom. Would you like that?"

"Noi." Boom squeaked out as she hopped back onto April's shoulder and nestled up against her neck. As the Noibat was finding a comfortable place on it's master's shoulder, April was starting to wonder what was taking her brother so long to return with his own partner and was starting to go to worst case scenarios. She was about to head back into the dome when a pair of boys showed up in front of her and complimented her on her Noibat.

"Thanks. Her name is Boom and mine is April. Are you guys heading out on your adventure right now?"
April said with a smile as she looked over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of Drew coming out of the dome. "Sorry guys. I will be right back. It looks like my brother just got out of the dome and I'm going over to say hi to him." With that she was gone to meet up with Drew.

"Nice Noibat, April."

"Thanks. What pokemon did you find in there."

"That's a secret for now." Drew said with a smile as he highfived his sister as they reached each other before glancing back in the direction she had come from. "Who are those guys?" He asked her going into protective brother mode.

"Don't worry. They are harmless, they were just saying hello and introducing themselves. Come on I will introduce you."
April told him and pulled him over to where she had left the others. "Drew this is Tony, Wave, Jaws and Mum. Guys this is my big brother Drew." She said with a smile as she pointed to everyone as they were named off.

Drew gave a sigh and gave a smile. He would do anything to protect April and that included just making her happy by befriending people she liked. "Nice to meet you. Are you just starting out on your journey too?"

"Pleasure. You too Akira."

Kai smiled as his hand was shook and he and his pokemon were greeted.

Cool huh?"

"Hm?" Kai began, looking down at Akira in his arms who, in turn, turned to look up at him. "Yeah. Akira's my only pokemon right now. She's... a brat to say the least." He explained, chuckling. Akira turned her head back to Logan, craning her neck out to sniff him.

Before either of the two new friends could leave, Kai reached for his pokedex with his free hand and scanned all of their pokemon as well, grinning when finished. "Thanks. Though, I think I'll leave the scanning for friends and wild pokemon though. It would probably be a bit rude to walk up to people on the streets and scan their pokemon, though a viable option." He explained, laughing to himself. Soon after Reira walked away, Kai turned to Logan and made a motion for him to wait. He followed behind Reira and got some supplies for himself right after her, sorting them as he bought them.

As he walked away, he looked through the new supplies. A few more pokeballs, some potions, pokemon food, and an array of other supplies his mother had packed before, mostly herbs and things his pokemon probably wouldn't like very much. He'd have to sell them for better stuff later.

Satisfied, he walked past Reira to Logan and then turned his head to look at the two. "I uh... don't mean to be too forward here, but... would you two like to travel with me? I've never been one for going alone and I'm sure being with other pokemon would make Akira less shy." He started, running his fingers through his long red hair nervously. "I can cook if that makes it better." He added, chuckling.
