Delilah is a liar to the core and as such, one must be cautious at all times when listening to her words. Half the time they are lies, but most of the time they are truths within truths. Or so she would like all to believe. Delilah genuinely does not care for a single living creature other than herself and is quite delighted when presented the opportunity to meddle in the affairs of other people.

She is also adept at faking personas, putting on the appropriate facade at the appropriate moment just for the sole joy of toying with other people. She has no sympathy for the world’s fate or of the fates of the people around her. Often, she’ll even take the time to berate her enemies and treat them like children during battle. If anything, she is simply a monster that seeks to live a life of peace by ruining lives for fun.

And yet, it is rumored that her apathetic nature may be spared on one certain individual. However, who this individual is has yet to be seen. The rumor may be just that: A rumor.

Background:
An incredibly powerful and deadly Hunter that travels the world in search of someone or something important to her. Nothing much is known about Delilah, other than that she is to be avoided at all costs. She has no caring of the world’s fate or the outbreak in Japan. As long as money continues to satisfy her, her services will be provided in the most swift and effective manner.

Weapons:
An unnamed knife that can neither shatter nor bend. It has a brown handle with a black trim around it, passing though where the blade is. It has several notches wear it detaches itself. Despite its appearance, it is blunt enough to crack skulls, hard enough to block most attacks, and sharp enough to slice apart buildings with one swing. Along with being able to flip itself open, its also is extendable as it has a metal wire holding the blade together, allowing it to stab opponents at a considerable distance or used as a bladed whip.

Abe is a tough guy. He acts strong and independent and for the most part, that's true. He doesn't like getting help from others, at all. He also has a huge failure complex. He refuses failing once more. He vowed to clean up Kyushu, his home, once and for all. His goal has ended up with other hunters (and even Onyxians) giving him the nickname of The Janitor. It's also because he always dresses slovenly. Totally not related to the fact that he uses a broom to fight.

While he does have a huge sense of justice, he absolutely hates Onyxians because of what they did to his family.


Skills
Abe is one of the scariest people to face in one on one combat. His "weapon," so to speak, is oddly powerful. He is also an expert glaive user. His ability to parry attacks, his strength, and even his combat intuition is almost supernatural. While this is all impressive, he's only average at using guns and any sort of other complicated weaponry. As such, he only uses a gun if he absolutely has to. He's one of the longest serving hunters in Kyushu.

A broom covered in a strange alloy. Self-sterilizing, hydrophobic and durable. Great for lazy cleaners.

The Bone Breaker
A high-powered 5-shot revolver. Usually supplied by a new prototype of bullet which is some sort of bastardization of FMJ and Hollow-point. Pierces soft, explodes in tougher targets. Has an exploding skull crudely painted on it.

I didn't add this to the backstory because it was a total mood killer. Basically, Abe got his broom because he used to use stuff like Guan Daos, Glaives and Naginatas. They kept on breaking. People decided on giving him a supply drop with an experimental alloy-weave-spray, allowing him to use one of the weapons without fear. Sadly, he ran out of weapons, and by the time he was surrounded, the only weapon he had was a broom. He did the rational thing: spray the broom. Now he has a kickass broom.

The gun was just a test for a company with a supply drop. He found a silver paint pen and drew a skull on it.

The gauntlet area notably has sharp ends over the fingers, allowing for slashing attacks should blunt force not be enough to handle a situation.

Personality
Kazuma can be described as sly and practical. He looks out for himself and only himself. To that end he holds no sympathy or empathy for anyone else. He will simply use others as he needs to, putting on a facade of friendliness and weakness in order to build trust so that later he can exploit it. Kazuma has no qualms with killing people and will do so as frequently as he has to if it will improve his situation. Above all else he wishes to find a way to escape Kyushu alive. He will ally himself with other Onyxians and survivors and use them towards that goal, only to slaughter them later when they cease to be useful. He will attempt to feign innocence to Hunters but he is quick to attack them should they detect who he is. While Kazuma is smart and cunning he is also confident and self-absorbed, looking at the world with a narrow view. Once he has decided how something is, then that is how it always will be. His mind cannot be changed once it is made up. He will carve a bloody path through Invalids, survivors, and Hunters alike to get away from the cursed city, and he will act like he has done nothing wrong through the entire massacre.

History
Kazuma was born with wealth. His father was a business tycoon that was never able to spend time with Kazuma and his mother was a woman of leisure that elected not to spend time with him. The boy grew up educated but entitled, never establishing a strong emotional basis with any of his close family or even developing any friends. He was a loner throughout his private schooling, ignoring everyone else by his own choice. He even had rejected several girls, which only further bolstered his own ego and his opinion of his standing in the world. In short: a spoiled brat grew into an entitled prick.

By the time Kazuma had graduated college (studying abroad at Oxford, no less), he was guaranteed a position in his father's pharmaceutical company. He immediately went to work in a management position in the laboratory at Kyushu. Of course he wasn't a well-received supervisor but he was the son of the CEO so his position was secure. He bought an entire apartment complex outside the suburb area of Kyushu, renovating the entire top floor to be one single penthouse suite that he would live in while the rest of the complex was only brought to a middle-class standard. Life was going well, Kazuma was doing fine on his own and was prepared to take over Yanagi Medicine within the next few years or so... when everything went to hell.

Unlike the panicked masses, Kazuma was quick to act. He was at the Yanagi Medicine laboratory when the attack occurred and he was quick to flee to his penthouse when the chaos began to ensue. After taking a precautionary amount of antibiotics, Kazuma was quick to realize he hadn't been infected by whatever disease had spread. Or at any rate he wasn't afflicted in the same way the others were. His blood had turned black, but his body did not falter. There was safety and comfort in his penthouse but it wasn't enough. The city was becoming dangerous. Kazuma had no weapons, no martial training, and was thin and weak. He wouldn't survive long. He had to escape.

But he couldn't leave his penthouse as he was. The Invalids were outside his door, crawling around the apartment complex beneath him. He would have to wait for help, for some kind of rescue. But as time went on none ever came. Kazuma exercised, getting into shape. He used his free time to improve himself, for after a while he knew that he would have to rely on himself to escape Kyushu. It was during this time that he eventually discovered that there was more about him that had changed other than his blood. His body was able to grow into shape at incredible speed, taking only a few weeks of basic strength training to become completely fit. Then he realized that he could control his own blood to an extent.

Clad in armor of blackened blood, Kazuma broke out of his home and tore through the Invalids that had raided the complex. The blood was hard and dense, protecting him from injury while giving him a platform to smash and slash the mutated creatures with ease. Once free of his own prison he made a run for it. Or rather: he got in his car and drove for it. Only by now it was too late. Kyushu was walled off, separated from the world. His car was fired upon the moment it got remotely near the surrounding wall, forcing Kazuma to ditch it and run. All the Hunters saw that day was a man completely covered in black. And thus began the story of The Black Man.

Kazuma took shelter that night with a small group of survivors. They too had wanted to escape the city but were forced to flee from the wall for fear of being gunned down. He stayed with them for a couple days before they encountered another Onyxian. This man was deranged, angry and delirious from running out of food several days ago. He slaughtered the group, bar Kazuma. Fearing for his own survival, Kazuma used his own black blood to fight back, killing the assailant. It was then he realized that nobody could be trusted. Nobody else in the group was able to protect him, he had to fight for himself. As well there were maniacs in the city that sought to take his life. Humans were just as dangerous as the Invalids. He couldn't trust anybody but himself.

He began wandering on his own, hopping between bands of survivors as he went. He couldn't stand it any longer. The chaos, the upset to his perfect life. He had to get out of Kyushu. And he had to get out even if it meant he was the only one who got to live. Kazuma would stay with survivors to live off their supply of food and their shelter, and when they had nothing left to provide he would leave. When it came time to defend himself he would strike without mercy and with no regard to collateral damage. A reputation began to form around what people now call The Black Man. Thankfully Kazuma has been able to keep his identity a secret, mainly by killing anyone who learned he was The Black Man. And it is a good thing too, as rumors have spread among Hunters and Survivors about The Black Man. Some believe he is just an advanced form of Invalid, some say he is an Onyxian that has absorbed many other Onyxians. But one thing that isn't debatable is his record. The Black Man has been seen killing hordes of Invalids and has been known to kill any he has caught witnessing him in action. He even has a track record of killing unlucky Hunters that found him in the middle of the night. Nobody knows who he is, and Kazuma wants to keep it that way. While his name and face are unattached to the bloody rampages of The Black Man he can pretend to be a helpless survivor, trapped within the walls of Kyushu and willing to give anything to escape to safety. Willing to do anything to escape.

Skills
While untrained in any form of martial art, Kazuma is a nightmare to face through his sheer strength, durability, and brutality. He has been educated in medicine and he knows the way the body works, so he knows exactly what he has to damage to bring a human down. He has decent management skills and is bi-lingual, speaking both Japanese and English thanks to his time in the UK. He is quick to learn and quick to adapt, allowing him to pick up various survival skills since the outbreak first began. He has developed a "sense" for Kyushu, allowing him to "feel" when there is something dangerous about to happen. This makes him quick to detect Invalids and Hunters. He is also skilled at lying and deception, being able to perfectly feign normalcy while it benefits him. That doesn't make him easy to befriend, because no matter how harmless he may seem he will still be a jerk, but it allows him to infiltrate groups without any trouble and integrate in little time.

Other
Kazuma used to wear glasses out of necessity, being farsighted his entire life before the Onyx virus. He now no longer needs them, but keeps them to help maintain an image of innocence and weakness. Likewise he uses his name and stature as ways to identify himself as an upper-class citizen, further maintaining his validity as a "survivor."

Prideful to say the least, Jun is extremely intelligent, calculating, patient, while simultaneously unwavering and iron-fisted. She cares deeply about the Hunters to the point where she doesn't have much of an outside life from them, After becoming the Leader of the Eastern division of the Hunters she accepted her role without questioning it or arguing with the Western leader.

Jun sees weak people and civilians as just barriers that can and will get in the way in a fight with Onyxians that have taken over Kyushu. Like some of the Hunters Jun has an immense hate for Onyxians, she believes that they are abominations that should be eradicated from the planet without thinking twice, if she could have it her way she'd fire bomb Kyushu and gladly watch the land burn to see them be wiped out, but she opted out of burning the land to do an island wide extermination.

History
Jun was born to high classed parents that never really gave her much attention, her parents were more interested in splitting up and going their own ways, when she was only 5 she took up Kendo, driven to make her parents give her the attention she wanted and be a happy family drove her to become the best she could with the wooden blade, when she turned ten and her family was pretty much going to split up, Jun used her family's money to buy her way into competitions and beat people from all around Japan.

Soon she then forced her way into the Championships and hoped her mother and father would watch, but sadly nobody came, feeling sadden during the final match ups, she lost her temper and brutally beaten one of her competitors to pulp taking her anger out on them and was disqualified from the Championship. After she saw what she could do with only a simple wooden stick Jun dropped Kendo to take up actual fighting with a real katana and using Wooden dummies.

Choosing to be as far from her parents as possible, she joined the Eastern Hunters when she turned 16 lying about her age, while she was with the Hunters she seen many places around the world where many people would kill women and children, beat them, or use them to get money, she saw the people that would do such actions as monster or as weak and un-willing to do their own dirty work.

When the bomb dropped over Kyushu, Jun was largely un-effected by it, her parents sadly lived in Osaka and were safe from the bomb that went off, and she had no relatives that really lived in Kyushu. Jun was one of the many first hunters to go Kyushu on the first days, and on their fifth day they went in, her and all of the Hunters were killed by a large monster that looked somewhat to a Oni or a dinosaur with horns and claws, it tore apart their entire squad and killed the leader to the the Eastern Hunters, Jun tried to fight the beast off but managed to get mortally wounded and left to die by the beast.

Using nearly all of her will power she bandaged up her wounds an found another group of Hunters and relayed the message of what happened to them, since she was the only survivor she and the group that found her went to hunt the beast down that killed the former leader, in the process most of the hunters were wounded and she was the only one standing in the fight with the beast, she protected the wounded hunters and managed to cut the beast's head off.

After hearing about how she handled the situation the Western Leader decided to promote Jun to the leader of the Eastern Hunters division and gave everyone the heads up on who was in charge in of the Eastern hunters, even though she was below the age of 30, the heads up was given to her on her birthday when she turned 20.

Theme:

Kokoro was an ace student. All through her life, she ended up with the top grades in her class. From some pressuring from her parents, she eventually got into a medical school and studied there for a few years of her life.

It was time wasted. Kokoro learned that she didn't want to become a doctor. Too many people to deal with. She quit medical school and ended up applying for the JSDF as a field medic. She would get to deal with less people, so that was a positive. She completed her training and waited for stuff to do.

Her first mission was the first response to Kyushu to rescue as many survivors as possible.

Boy, was that ironic.

Her unit stepped off and met the grim reality. Kokoro, afraid of her life, ran off by herself. The creatures tended to be more focused on the loud yelling and lead-firing cohorts of her. She hid out until the creatures ran off then inspected the damage. It was brutal. 20 of her 24-man unit died. 3 were gravely injured. Kokoro went to work trying to save all three.

It didn't work. All 3 were lost. Kokoro was distraught at being alive. She was supposed to die. Perhaps if she had fought with her unit, they could have all lived, but, it was too late. What was done could not be undone.

In her depression, she skulked around the outskirts of town. With nothing to do, she read books about the human body, books about first-aid, watched movies, read more books, looked for food, ate and generally survived. From her endless solitude and a wandering mind, she managed to get out of her depression but replace it with fear and paranoia. Being alone for 2 years really messes people up. With that, she decided to venture out to figure out what exactly was going on.

One year of bandaging whatever she could find up and writing notes, she had gotten nowhere. Except for, well, fueling her conspiracy theories. She had managed to get the loving nickname of Coconuts from onyxians, hunters and other survivors. Mostly because they would call her Koko. And she's nuts.

Neme likes to fool around with people, using his many names as a way to do that. He also likes reading and martial arts, mainly to watch though, he isn't all that good at them. If one were to offer him a peaceful way to resolve things, he would go for that option, but he has no problems at all with killing. Neme also likes to use other people as unwilling pawns in his plans, it even doesn't have to be that they do something they wouldn't otherwise do, just that it works for him, most people wouldn't like what he does though.

History
Neme was born into a family of weirdos, not that he minded it, no, he loved his family, especially his brother, Meron, or as he actually was called, Meron Nawor Cari Pzor Bres Krion Grar, yeah, his parents were out of name ideas with his brother. Neme's father was a world known business man, who was mainly known for always making some coin of even the most impossible of operations. His mother was just that, if not a tad bit crazy.

Neme would start manipulating people at the age of five, trying to get a few coins of his bullies, he started by trying to become their target once more, because they had found another target. Once he regained their attention, he also worked himself up their ranking ladder, and even took out their main rivals when it came to bullying. He made some money off of them, but he ultimately decided that that was not his style. He learned in order to become a more influential person, and succeeded. At the age of twenty, he had attained the title of 'Lord', but unfortunately, at the age of thirty, he lost everything in an incident. Forcing him to become a beggar. He still was influential though, and soon he had build up his own form of an empire, ruling the streets through beggars. Nobody ever suspected him to be the one who ruled them though, as he also took on the lowest rank, of an 'eye' for himself. Some people weren't happy with that though, and they started calling him 'old lord', revering to both his age at the time (45) and the fact that he used to be a lord. His kingdom however, didn't last for too long, when the Onyx virus came, he was infected, luckily, he became an Onyxian, unluckily, everyone saw it happening.

Hot headed to be simple about her, Ash can be a hot headed person that can be easy to anger at moments, she can be very vulgar and swears almost more than a sailor on shore leave. She can be very headstrong and willing to rush into a fight without thinking about the consequences or how strong her enemy may be, her idea of good fight is punch the enemy several times till they go down even if she was hurt in the process, combined with her powers she would attack constantly not know she could just knock herself out by using her own blood to keep attacking.

Ash is a very athletic person that won't hesitate to show off her body's muscles or show off how athletic she is. She is a very big eater being able to eat several meals and count it as a single meal it's self, she apparently gotten it from her "father's" side of the family. Ash can be very irresponsible towards certain things that people give to her to watch or keep safe, either breaking said item by mistake or losing it somewhere due to negligence or forgetfulness at times.

Ash takes a very heavy handed approach to most problems that get in her way, never usually handling something the simple way, but usually going about the problem the most violent way in the most simple way she sees it. Being a heavy handed hot headed person, Ash isn't much of a smart person, she doesn't know some math that she should know, and is horrible at science and doesn't even bother thinking too much about it.

History
Ash was an only child that lived with her mother in Japan and a drifter of a "father", she knew she wasn't like all the other Japanese kids she went to school with when she grew taller than most of them when she was young, when the other kids figured out that Ash wasn't like them they tried to bully her and call her names.

Sadly for the kids that attempted to bully her, she beat them all up and threw rocks at them eventually getting in trouble with the principle due to hurting the other children, when her mother figured out how aggressive she was towards the other children her mother didn't flip out or even get angry she remained calm and told Ash that she was just like her "father".

While Ash was younger she never really saw her "father" and would always just hear about him most times from her mother, but she would never hear from him or get letters. When Ash was a teenager and still getting in trouble at school for beating up people and defending herself, her mother had met another woman, a Latina or Puerto Rican woman, she was from some country from the ass end of the planet that spoke a different language, Ash's mother was trying to tell Ash that the woman was gonna be her "father" to put it short.

Ash didn't like the idea, it just seemed stupid to her and weird in her mind, she got into an argument with her mother and didn't like the woman that was trying to be her new "father" but instead of handling it calmly and rationally, Ash's mother argued back and nearly suplexed her telling her to deal with it.

Ash did as her mother said and dealt with the new woman living with them, and weirdly enough Ash noticed that she and the latina woman was kinda the same in some ways, they'd put their feet up on furniture, yell at people that would annoy them, would be quick to be violent towards people that pissed them off, and would curse more than a sailor. When Kyushu was attacked and people began turning into Onyxians and Invalids, Ash's mother protected Ash and her new "Father" while they escaped to be somewhere safer on the first days of the attack.

After that day Ash never saw her mother again, the group she was with were a strange bunch of people that she didn't like, Ash decided to leave to find her mother, but as she tried to the Latina tried to stop her and told her to wait for the military to come save them, Ash brushed her off and decided not to listen to her, she wanted to find her mother instead.

When she left the other survivors, Ash gotten a look at the Invalids and the Hunters, and she gotten her first look at an Onyxian fighting against several Hunters, she was surprised by the power and skills the Onyxian man had when he fought against the Hunters single handedly. When he killed off the last Hunter with only his bare hands he turned his attention to Ash who was dumbstruck and awed by the guy's power and skill, he told her to go somewhere safe as the streets are filled with people who are out of their mind and monsters that eat people.

Ash listened to the guy without questioning him, and he patted her on the head before she went back to the others, but when she gotten back shit seemed to hit the fan, her mother had found the group luckily, but everyone was killed by someone, including her mother. As Ash looked through the bodies for anything that could tell her who or what killed everyone, the guy from earlier found her, he followed her and noticed the slaughter that happened, the guy told her that the person that killed everyone had to be an Onyxian based on the wounds that everyone had, Ash turned to him and tried to accuse him of doing it but with no real evidence.

After getting her ass kicked and being restrained by the guy, he told her he could give her the tools she needs for her to get her revenge for who killed her mother, but she would have to help him too. After slowly thinking about it for a couple minutes, she accepted his offer of help and what he actually did was give her a strain of the Onyxian virus with his own blood.

The Maw-The Maw consist of two hardened bone ‘barrels’ embedded in Jings arms , running from the elbows to the palms that function as crude, if obscenely effective, firearms.
Ammunition is produced internally, by two specialized organs hidden just behind the lungs. One separates and crystallizes white blood cells present in his blackblood while the other diffuses fat present in blood to form a volatile propellant. . These bullets react negatively to the physiology of other Onxyians, crystallizing slowly like a cancer. Rapid removal is often the wisest, if more unpleasant choice. Humans, curiously, seem to have no negative reaction to these charges (apart from the normal problems one encounters after being shot.) A full ‘load’ of bullets (approximately 90 standard shots) can be made over the course of a half hour.
Jing favors his right arm for long range, though its distance and power are more comparable to a standard hunting rifle than the high powered military grade snipers carried by many hunters. If force to assign a comparable caliber to it, Jing would estimate it ranges close to a .308
The left arm is favored for short range. While its stopping power is certainly effective(comparable to .357 round), its range leaves a lot to be desired, being only 40 meters at its best.

Life in the quarantine zone is hardly a cakewalk(hell, life before it wasn't much worse), but between the ravenous Invalid and mercs from the J.S.D.F its hard for him to believe in the typical spiel of truth, justice and due process. He’s done his best to impose a little civil order in the QZ as he can, picking off packs of Invalids that wander too close to to safe camps or any dangerous Onyxians who do the same. He tends to logic these good deeds away as being entirely practical, killing the Onyxian’s keep the mercs away and killing Invalids helps everyone.


Skills
Police training: Jing is an adequate shot and is well versed in the modern martial combative techniques taught to most officers.
Tracking: His time as a detective has given Jing some insight in tracking others down and hiding his own tracks.
Lay of the land: while living alone in the QZ, Jing has had to develop a working mental map of the city, making him difficult to corner. He’s also taken the time to place various safe houses with small ration supplies (almost entirely food. He really needs not much else).
