Bringing down the hammer to the anvil heavily Bayen beat the glowing cherry red piece of bronze to the shape he wanted. Which was a semicircle, it was rather flat but he folded it over to the center making it look much like a petal. When it had the perfect shape he pressed it to several other pieces that appeared the same, but were different sizes and twists. When the actions came to a close he set a saphire to the center, the flower resembled a geocentric carmilla that was fresh as spring. Even though he knew it thrived in the heart of winter, to bring life to it he frosted it with melted bronze making sure that it had perfection as much as he dared with his human hands.

For a while after he rested, this thing he did not brand his own. However he did inscribe on the bottom 'Leo' so that it might seem more personal. His soot blemished hands brought a mug to his face partaking of wine that he had been awarded, it was a time of celebration to him. As his mastery had most definantly grown to the next stage, chewing a on bit of bread he proudly admiried his chilled work. He sighed with questions buzzing around his mind "I most certainly enjoy the looks of it, but will she?" his pondering met his lips gently, hesitantly. For deep in his heart he knew that anything he gave to her that he molded with his talents would be loved, though closer to that of a mother taking a finger painting of a very young child.

It was slightly frustrating that anything he did awarded him with the response that be fitted an animal doing a set task. Good boy. He shook his head slowly and set the piece of jewelry down, this was a two fold attack. The first was to gain acknowledgement for his rapidly growing talent, the second intended of a more tricky nature. He planned on asking for iron... Knowing of its volitile nature he expected little. He had been of pure intentions planning on giving Marzanna the curved dagger he already planned on making... To a certain degree he simply wished to sing iron into a form, his mind rolling the details around picking ideas up like a snowball rolling down a fridged mountain.

Leaving the coals aglow the youthful man stood to wash his face and change attire, taking off the leather apron and long sleeved tunic he washed himself down with a wet rag. Afterwards replacing said items with his dress shirt and formal coat, he rather enjoyed the blue hues that he surrounded himself with. Although not quite as much as the steel saber that adorned his hip, to others around him such a thing was wasted on him. His practice was not lacking, he simply spent a larger quantity of time with his momentary passion. He sighed inwardly unsure as to how the next few hours would be spent "I wonder if she is home?" He inquired to himself anxiously. He most certainly thought of the winter court to be home, while it was not quite the warmth he wanted from those around him. He knew that his boredom would never grow, and that words were things to play with more than to truthfully deal straightly.

Of course with the time never having meaning to Bayen he cared little of how long, but everything had been gauged by how well he spent that time. As well as the productivity he gained from his actions. Never leaving his room he travelled to the frozen palace through a gateway from his closet. Knowing how his Queen hated the fires he had begged a fair time ago that he would receive a forge a distance away from the castle. Given that he had been a human a few protested in secret that nothing good would come from his hands, and he fully intended on showing them up. In secret of course, for proving any little thing to them would be a petty reflection of his character. He justly wanted to grow, things he gained for himself were by his hands and sweat alone.

After feeling the tug of gravity pulling him foreward, almost as though he was being rushed forward with great intensity, he graciously stumbled into the kitchen narrowly avoiding a cook "Many apologies, I have still not found my teloporting sickness medicine." He stated bowing a slight amount. Calmly he took lengthy strides to the Hall with high thoughts of hope, these included seeing Marzanna for the first time in a month. As he had been squirreled away in his own little space for some time. His mind did not include the peace meetings easily, but since he could not find her any place he assumed it must be important for her to be gone. Tapping one foot he craned his head with a thoughtful look checking mentally where else she might be "Well, I wish her the best of luck to any adventure she might take up." He languished briefly to himself.

Normally Max wouldn't have cared about this strangers order, but as he opened his mouth to complain more, words refused to come out, instead only a gurgle could force it's way out. Max then froze and realized that this situation had several factors that he still had no idea about, he needed to change that. Max let out a shaky sigh, and said," I'm sorry Mr." He said, "I'm not at my best right now." If he wanted to talk his way out of this, screaming and yelling would get him nowhere. He'd have to act meek to get this cat to let his gaurd down."You said Names have power, would you mind explaining a little more, Sir?"

Galahad stood straight as Feoras pierced him with his gaze, and flame licked his fingers. He turned to look at his soldiers. These were his people, and he couldn't let them down. His eyes fell on the prisoner. He has no worth to me. Yes I'll lose the reward but that's better than my life Galahad thought to himself, before turning to face the Summer Ruler. "Alright, I'll offer you a proposal. For free passage through your lands, I'll give you this prisoner I have as your new servant, as well as grant you one bounty hunt, on the house. You can take it or leave it, you should know that's a once in a lifetime kind of deal." Galahad grinned, confident that his deal would be accepted.

Feoras studies the fae and the flames vanish. He tilts his head and clasps his hands behind his back as he casually walks over to the prisoner walking around them like a horse dealer. Feoras goes up close to the fae's face and grasps it firmly in a hand tilting their head all around then letting go and walking back to Galahad. This one is quite sure of himself. Feoras' eyes becomes his normal orange color as he toys with him, as if he was funneling out all his fury. "an interesting proposal, but simply not good enough." his now orange eyes continue to pierce galahad's gaze. He plans on squishing this one's sureness and make him beg. His eyes have a light amount of amusement in them, sure that he was expecting for this deal to just be accepted. He walks closer to Galahad a closeness that would make many uncomfortable. "you have not given me a good reason as to why I should let you through." he then steps back and starts walking through the group. "especially a group of this size...why normally I would turn at least half to ashes and make the most comfortable hearths for the messenger salamanders". he was most definitly toying with them, but he knows he has to speed this up a bit since he is needed at the peace meeting. With that in mind he would give Galahad a chance to either try again or simply shove them back into the fall territory.

Naime the Enchanting

Naime awoke to hear the chirping of birds. She opened her eyes, remembering where she was. Last night she had remembered . It always happened eventually. And now she was back in her own corner of the world. She would have to return to court, or they would go searching for her. In this life she had been born as a summer maiden, beautiful with red hair currently at her shoulders. Now that she remembered who she truly was, however, things would get complicated. If her husband searched for her, he would discover her dark abode, and inform someone about it. Usually the remembering came earlier in each life, but Naime couldn't remember if this had ever happened before. She floated up out of her ragged bed, and glided out the window of her home. It was quite overgrown with ivy from all the years of unkeep. She would have to come back and fix it at some point. But she was stuck for now. She left her realm, focusing hard and appearing suddenly in her husband's home. She was in their small bedroom, and he was still asleep. She crawled into bed next to him, and closed her eyes. Back to her life as a Summer Fae. Her husband would wake eventually, and they would have to return to the political world.

Underneath the green trees in a small glade a small hammock swayed gently. Sunlight filtered through the leaves onto the little form of the child inside. Her eyes fluttered open and she yawned. Sitting up, she climbed out of her hammock, dropping the last few feet to the ground because she couldn't reach it yet. Stumbling back a little, she fell on her bottom then stood.

The four year old blinked and looked around.
"Ba-Ba?"she asked curiously. The child was the pet of The Ruler of Summer, but she never called him that.
"Ba-Ba?"she called out again, this time more worriedly. Usually he was nearby when she woke, to feed her or play with her. Sometimes he brought her pretty things to play with, like flowers or butterflies.

Since he was not there, Lyra decided she would just have to go find him. Barefoot and in her little red dress, her blonde hair tangled from sleep, she set off in search of her Ba-Ba. Any other child would have been scared to walk through the forest alone, but not Lyra. Under the protection of her Ba-Ba she had never had any reason to feel fear in his domain.

She could hear them, they had to be a flight away now, if not a little less. She recalled four officers pursuing her, however it was likely they called for backup, just in case. She had ten minutes at least, she had to deal with them and get out of here before their backup arrived. Clearing her mind, she aimed one of her guns at the door, lifting it from the chest area, to the head. The instant the door opened, she fired, the bullet piercing through the skull of the officer stepping through. His body instantly fell, causing the three remaining cops to crouch, giving her time to change to a generator a little further back. Once there, she remained silent, listening to the footsteps of the men. She smirked, they were using standard procedure, spreading wide enough to cast a net, but not too far apart that they couldn't see one another. She knew they'd find her if she stayed hidden, and if she revealed her position, the others would bear down on her position. She knew she was screwed, being backed into a corner like this. If she were to die here, then so be it, but she was going to take at least two more with her. She peered around the side, spotting an officer headed her way. He turned his head away, giving her the chance to lean out and fire again, dropping him easily.

Just as she had expected, the other two started firing in her general direction, causing her to retreat into cover. She popped out every now and then to fire at them, forcing them into cover as well, thus initiating a rooftop shootout. She knew her fate was sealed now, with those two in cover, backup would arrive before long. She sighed, luck was not on her side today it seemed, her career was over. Having no fear of death, she rose out of cover with both guns aimed forward, firing as she ran at the officers. "Is she insane?! Don't kill her!" one said to his partner. It was too late, the bullet passed through the woman's chest, her steps now slowing to a stop and her guns dropping. She looked down at the wound, blood running down her body like a river, a smile forming on her lips. She looked at the men, who seemed to be disturbed by the smile, "I have sung my final song. Ironic...to be killed in such a place, on the day the world first learned my name...enjoy your victory while it lasts..." she said, falling to her knees. Holding her wound, she looked at the officers who approached her, "I swear...I will kill you...both of you...I will find a way...you haven't heard the last...of..." she trailed off, hitting the ground. The air around the city suddenly got hotter, especially around her. In an instant, the woman's body vanished from sight, leaving the officers confused. The woman, still barely alive, used her eyes to look around. This was a strange place, she was looking at a landscape that couldn't be physically possible, yet it was there. To her, it looked beautiful, the trees were twisted in such horrific and yet beautiful ways. If this is what death looked like, then she was content with it, "Beautiful..." she managed to spit out, her eyes slowly closing. She wished she could live just a little longer to enjoy the beauty of this landscape, but such was not her destiny.

A large dog sized russet colored salamander waddles through the forest. It appears rather cute in a rather odd way as it walks. The salamanders were of the highest respect in the summer court since the king's adopted father was one. With that the salamanders split into different groups: the servants, the messengers, and the common. The common salamanders were simply village folk who were usually taken care of first. They are usually seen in their glamours. The servants being of high rank among the others of the same position and also seen in their glamours. The messengers however always seemed to be in their salamander form, wandering about where they please until they are called upon. The most common place for them to be found is in various hearths found throughout the castle, leading to the fires in the summer castle to be the most efficient and the easiest to care for. Messenger salamanders vary from small finger sized salamanders to larger dog sized salamanders. This one, is a messenger one.
The salamander spots the unconscious woman and licks its eyeball. Figuring it should tell its master it catches on fire and appears next to Feoras. For the messenger salamanders, they can always find Feoras without aid of a hearth. Quite useful. Feoras' attention is caught by the large salamander as he looks down at it. The salamander makes several noises which the Feoras seems to understand perfectly. He looks back at Galahad and his group and decides that the unconscious woman is more important with a finger snap a fae man appears dressed in fine red clothing appears...with eyes slated showing that he to is a salamander. Fears turns to this man and speaks to him softly, giving him orders on how to deal with the group. This is one of Feoras' special salamanders that he has deal with fae that he no longer has time for. He then turns to the russet salamander and nods both of them reducing to ash and appearing by the songstress.
The red covered salamander turns his attention to Galahad and sighs heavily. "You are to come up with a better deal...If I do not think it good enough I am to remove you from the area back into the Fall by force. Of which i may team necessary" A true warning from this one since he is capable of fire abilities that are strong. Not as strong as Feoras, but strong enough to get the job done.
Staring at the unconscious woman, Feoras makes a decision to save her. He looks at the salamander staring up at him and nods. "We will save her Nikko, take her with you to the healer hearth and tell them to remove any weapons she has before healing her. Destroy the weapons...once she is healed move her to a guest room and have two fae guard her. Make sure they are good ones. You may attend to her when she wakes since she will likely respond to your form better. Do not let her leave. Understood?" Nikko nods and makes gurgling noises and Feoras nods. "I am late, so you must do this now while i hurry to the meeting" More gurgling noises are heard before the salaamed takes the songstress' arm in his mouth and the reduce to ashes and they are transported to the healer's home. Who, not expecting a salaamed lets out a surprised shriek before doing as Nikko says.
Feoras rushes back to the meeting place his eyes a honey gold with the thought of a new woman. He quickly gets transported there and appears...last. He looks at the other rulers and his eyes go back to orange. "Apologies for my lateness, I had to deal with several intruders on my land. I hope everyone is doing well" He sounds polite, as he always did at these.

Galahad chewed on his lip as he looked at his new adversary in trade. The Winter-born thought about what the bastard of a fae could possibly want. He's already refused what I have to offer. Maybe this is a battle that can't be won right now. By now Falk must be gone, and Fall may be safe. Then I can cross through and return to Winter court, and meet up with Brenna he thought to himself before looking the salamander in the eye. "Tell your master that force will not be necessary. I will leave on my own." Galahad said. He considered making a snide remark but thought better of it. He turned around and began the march back to Fall territory, his men following behind him.

"Lysander! Lysander where did you go?"The blind young woman used her cane to find her way through the area. She had been walking her dog in the park near her dorm when suddenly he had heard or seen something and bolted. And it had to be something important because he would never leave her otherwise.
"Lysander! Please come! Come boy!"
Jessalyn shivered. Had the temperature suddenly dropped? It almost felt icy. She heard scurrying in the brush nearby.
"Lysander?" she asked only to have something trip her and she fell. A squirrel? A raccoon? She felt around for her cane, but couldn't find it. "Lysander please!" she called, getting frustrated and worried. She wasn't that familiar with the park. If she didn't have her cane or her dog it would be very hard finding her way back.

She heard barking. "Lysander! Here boy!"
A warm furry body was suddenly against her, licking her face. "There you are!" Jessalyn exclaimed, relieved. "Don't run off like that! You know better!"
He continued licking her face, but then suddenly went still. Turning his head towards the trees, he growled protectively.
"Lysander? What is it?" she asked, holding on to his collar so he wouldn't run off again.

Raven Silverlight

Raven took her payment from a member of the Winter Queen's staff and packed it into her bag. For the kinds of jobs that Raven did for the Courts she much preferred a promise of a favor, especially if it was undefined but she took the gold that she could get. Which would explain what she was doing standing in the sub zero section of the lands of Faerie. Raven couldn't stand the Winter Court. Perhaps it had its own unearthly charm to some but Raven wasn't one of them. She could ward off the cold easily enough but between the many engraved tableaus of her ancestor's fall from grace and the towers where he sister had been shot down, Raven was not interested in spending any longer in the area than was strictly necessary. She might even prefer the Fall Court if not for the fact that even as she stood where she was Raven could feel what all the Fair Folk could, the Wylde Hunt was riding again.

Raven had a form of diplomatic immunity among the Courts. She was descended from The Tuatha DĂ© Danann, a tribe of ancient Fae that had governed both lands in an age long past. Though now Raven's people were almost extinct and long deposed she still possessed certain rights promised to the Tuatha DĂ© Danann by the peoples of Faerie a very long time ago. The most useful of these was that she could cross the borders of the Courts wherever she pleased. Theoretically speaking these old laws should protect her from the wrath of the Wylde Hunt but Raven didn't know enough about her people or the origins of the Hunt to trust that that held true. There was no reason to tempt death if it was unnecessary and unprofitable.

With her payment in hand Raven was more than happy to depart the carved ice palace where even the flowers were frozen in there beauty. The Summer Court was more to her liking though a those of Spring had a way with liquor that Raven had always found intriguing. Deciding on her destination Raven tossed back her cloak and spread her wings into the air, the thin members of her violet black wings caught the air as she pumped them up and down lifting herself above the trees. There was no feeling comparable to that of the air whistling through her hair, that was the feeling of true unadulterated freedom. She'd heard that some Fae in the Summer Court had found a way to bottle the feeling for those of the Fair Folk who did not possess wings.

As Raven flew threw the air her keen eyes spotted something that did not sit right against the landscape. Amongst the wonderland of snow below her she saw something standing out against the white background. Black hair and colored clothes. Raven dove closer and under closer inspection she confirmed what she had already suspected. It was a poor child of the mortal world, a girl and her dog. As Raven descended the dog began to bark and growl at her. My my, she thought to herself the guard is smarter than it's master.

"You have gotten yourself lost haven't you dearie?" Raven said smiling as the girl struggled in the snow.

Giomanch darted through Fall's lands. Cliff faces soared along the dense forests, the trees ancient sentinels standing guard over the many paths that led to various parts of the Fae Realm. Most did not use the path much like the Hunter. The trees were large enough that the ground between them was sparse of the normal undergrowth. Startling a herd of Fawn into flight the Cwn Annwn slowed his pace. The Rulers should be at the meeting he suspected. Falk's little stunt was sure to irk them. What was his master planning? Already the Fall Fae were a buzz and the Hunt was impatiently waiting. None dared ride though, the last one who had leapt ahead of the command had been the most recent addition to the Fall's mighty throne.

-------------------------------------------------------

Aisling walked up the damp stone steps from the tucked away stairs. "If Fae measured wealth as power, he still remains king." Her voice was disgusted as she sat upon the stone steps of the dais that led from the great hall of trees and pools of mist. The other stair was tucked closes against the dais, curving behind it, below was lain a trove that a dragon would envy. Strumming the harp with danty fingers, she felt the ghastly presence of the Hunt. A frosted mist, a shuffle of hooves.

The Hunt was more than the Fae that joined it, was was the very essence of the mist, of the twin pools that ran along the Fall's throne room. If one cared to look in the pool, they would see the Fae that waited there but they also would see the imprisoned hunters. Those who had betrayed and served loyally alike. Ancient Fae waited there for their Lord of Fall to call them forth of mist and cold death. To Ride the night sky, to unleash the hounds and urge the horses to charge. To hear the horn blow. Wraiths. The Irish woman shuddered. Wraiths were the great Hunt. The horror none could escape from. A irony on death. Tegvan held more power than any Fae save those of Fall could guess. Already the Fae of Fall that would join the hunt were roaming the Fall lands, picking up those Fae who had not sworn themselves to it's ruler.

The Spring Queen gave a little tut, and a tight smile danced across her face, "I do hope you aren't having trouble controlling your land," She said with a hint of smugness in her voice, "But yes, I'm doing well." She responded, and then added, "If you don't mind my asking, you wouldn't mind telling me what's happened? Just out of curiosity." She asked, using her silvertongue just a touch. Information was alway useful, no matter what it was. "I trust nobody from My court would dream of even stepping foot out of line." She added.

Amaryllis stood among the trees. She stood there silently, listening to the trees chatter and feeling the wind through her leaves. This is what she will miss when she leaves. Ama opened her eyes and looked through the canopy, seeing the filtering lights of the sky. She gazed down at the long grass and the mixture of flowers that have more hues than she could count. One cannot get this in the gardens. The gardens of the castle come close, but it is nothing compared to the forest.
Sometimes, Amaryllis wishes she was born out here. She would have nothing to worry about except for the preservation of the trees. But she was not. She was taught by the fae to think at a higher level than most dryads. Ama shrugged off this thought. Her life was full of beauty and wonder in the court she served.
Ama suddenly heard the light crunches of grass a bit of distance away. Footsteps. She glided through the glass and looked around a great oak. To her surprise, she saw the Summer King's pet. Ama smiled and laughed softly, stepping out from behind the tree.
"Oh little Lyra. What are you doing out here?"

With a heavy sigh and star twinkling eyes Bayen trudged around the palace looking for a familiar face. He got many stares from his ruffled hair, it was honestly just stuck in place from when it was tied back. Of course he didn't want the forge to singe his hair down to his scalp, then he would owe some Fae for a hair growing potion. There would be no possible way he would walk around the court half bald, he felt he looked silly enough as is.

Flustered he decided to meander his way to the kitchen yet again finding his way to the teloportion door, more like wall as it was semi hidden, and ran into the section he thought was the one that would take him to his forge. Well he thought that was the door way, smacking into the icy wall he felt his nose waver dangerously close to breaking, clutching his nose and checking for blood out of paronia he sat on the ground for a few moments attempting not to squirm. At this task he failed miserably.

Feeling further defeat he moved over to the next panel and inched his way into the portal being yanked again into the void, only to be spit outside into the snow face first "Daughter of a Pixie's flower child!" He raged standing and kicking snow, it spread out magnificently as though it were falling all over again into mist. Looking to his right out of reflex he noticed a girl and her dog, the dog was growling, not a good sign, and on the ground a winged Fae stood, never a good sign.

After a moment of staring Bayen walked slowly to the girl stopping a yard away, at least a little further than the dog could reach "Hello little lady, are you alright? You look a little cold... And blind? I came here on purpose, I suppose you did so on accident." he said removing his jacket and holding it out like a simpleton "Right... Your... I'm holding out an extra jacket for you directly over your service animal." he half lied, the jacket was his own from his very own shoulders, though he was more than used to a strong portion of the cold. Of course his words might have been simple, but even he was not affected by the winter style enough to call her blind twice. He had been more or less surprised to see such a person after such a long time. He was not so scared of the animal anymore as he was poised to draw and stab it with his saber, he stopped taking chances with beasts long enough ago, that damned Grimilkin.

He remembered the Fae and quickly wrapped up his thoughts warning the woman "First you may call me Bain, second that is not my real name even if it is close, third do not reveal your full name to any being here no matter how honey sweet the words they use are. Can you do this?" he instructed carefully, but very quickly, so as to not be confusing as his normal self yet speedily as to not be stopped. The entire time eyeing the raven like Fae. However he completely understood that no matter the preperation a normal person received it would still be neigh upon impossible to understand everything. Of course her best bet would be to give her name to Mazenna, but he had not seen her in a few days him being stuffed up in his forge crafting the little bit of bronze he had. Then again he might have to contend with an ancient Fae, he kind of wanted to cry, but held fast for the woman infront of himself.

Giving his full attention to the Fae he smiled with a bit of warmth and distrust "And how do you do on this fine day?" He covered up poorly, he mostly felt like a fish out of water infront of the winged Fae.

Grim stared at Max long and hard before taking a deep breath and pushing his glasses back into their proper resting place. Calming visibly, he turned and started to onward again. "I shall explain a few things on the way, but we dare not delay any further. The Winter Court awaits."

"To answer your question as simply as possible, a name is a manner of control. Every being, mortal or immortal, has a name that belongs to them and none other. Many of these beings are powerful enough to make you regret even whispering a portion of their name, but you humans lack the power to defend yourselves in such a way. In essence, I have both taken you slave and sheltered you from others doing so. And there's nothing you can do about it. So long as you behave, I shall be polite and you won't find your name used against you often."
Grim was dangling the truth in front of Max as one might with a bone and a dog, teasing him with the reality that was now his life. This specimen was proving entertaining, and to be a quick learner. Both were useful qualities, things Grimus sought in an agent of Winter.

"However, if you resist I will show you the full extent of what is now possible, without ever laying a finger on you. This could be great fun for both of us, but I will lose neither sleep nor joy if you force me to kill you." The threats were made rather flippantly, but were still very real. Grim didn't want to hurt this man further if he didn't have to. As long as Max accepted his new station, he figured it would be beneficial for them both.

Lost wasn't so sure about avoiding the Hunt anymore. Maybe it would be fun for him this year. It had been a while since he last joined. The Lady was below him alone now that Falk's love had left. She was very powerful and having her by his side would certainly keep him safe. As long as she didn't try to harm him herself. Lost had never done anything to her, and she was much more cunning than he was. She wouldn't let him put his guard down for a moment, or else he would end up in her service somehow. Having her as a companion was worth the risk. She probably already sensed him anyways. He dropped down out of the tree next to her. "Hello my Lady. Would you mind if I accompanied you for the Hunt this year?"

Voices. This is what she heard, one was talking to whom she thought was her, though she could barely make out the words. The tone though, the individual was trying to save her. Yes, she was positive of that. Whoever, or whatever it was, wanted her to live. She tried to open her eyes again, only managing to crack one a bit, the figures before her appearing to be nothing more than shadows. Live...yes...I must...live... she thought just before passing out. Her dreams were strange, she dreamed she was alive once more in this strange landscape, dancing among the trees as the wind blew her hair around. It was as if she were happy and content for once, as if she was part of the landscape herself. She felt at home, strangely enough. If it were anyone else, it might have been strange for them to feel that way, but not her. The best way for her to describe it was that she was meant to be here, as if it was meant to be her home. Her dream stopped when a shadow loomed over her, darkening everything around her. Was she scared? Not in the least. She was curious, who was this shadowed figure? Would she ever know? Before she could figure it out, her eyes slowly began to open. As they adjusted, she found she was no longer in that strange place. Well, she was, but not where she had been to begin with. She looked around, slowly sitting up as she scanned her surroundings. More of them. More of those twisted, yet oddly beautiful objects surrounded her, but they weren't like the ones she saw before. Her mind then suddenly recalled her wound, which she immediately touched, finding nothing there. No mark, no scar, nothing. It was as if it never existed in the first place. "How is that possible? I could have sworn I was dying..." she said out loud, clearly confused by the whole situation.

Brenna had finally gotten into Winter Court territory and was trekking through the snow, a fur cloak wrapped tightly around her shoulders. Even the Summer-born got cold in Winter Court. The outlaw she'd captured was stumbling along behind her as they walked, begging incessantly for his freedom. She didn't bother wasting any breath on shutting him up, until she suddenly heard voices ahead. She spun around and clamped a hand over her prisoner's mouth before creeping forward quietly, the fae moving slowly behind her, all to aware that this could mean danger. As she drew closer to the voices she saw two humans, a dog, and a fae. She crouched in the snow, watching, and waiting for them to move on before she continued on to the Winter Palace.

Tarani withdrew her hand, somewhat agitated that the young beauty had turned down her aid. She didn't let it bother her though, her thoughts on the presence of the other Fae in the trees above them. Interesting he hasn't shown himself yet.

She bid the young one a farewell, "As you wish, Young One. I pray thy safe passage onwards toward the Palace." Tarani bowed in formal respect; a pet the girl may have been, but an important one to Lord Tegvan no doubt. It seemed as if the trees themselves moved in tohether, Tarani's power urging them to obscure Aisling's path.

With the human girl gone, Tarani's full attention was focused on the Fae that still hasn't revealed itself. She decided that she'd wait. It shouldn't be long now. As she predicted, the Fae had realized it was best to introduce oneself.

"Such a direct question, without an introduction is quite rude, I dare say." A minor game, one she was sure the Satyr wouldn't play. "It doesn't matter anyway. I've heard you, Lost the Satyr," Tarani smiled pleaseantly.

It was a pleasure to know so much in the Fae realm and a privelage...one she did not dare take for granted. "To answer your question, young Satyr, though are most welcome to join me this festive year. And I dare say...a Hunt this shall be indeed." A sinister laugh escaped her lungs, sending chills through the trees.

I could use this one. Some knowledge. A silver tongue. Yes...useful indeed. Tarani moved forward, graciously gliding over the rotted ground. She tilted her head towards Lost, back turned, "You may call me, Anya. One of many of the Fall Kings vast Legions."

Her gnarled path took her onwards, towards the Fall Kings palace...a beauty of its own masterful kind. The fall leaves compared to nothing.
