Zephyr Hardt

Having slept in his rooms chair, he woke up rather early. Early enough to hear Prince rolling around on the roof of the hotel and chuckled at this. Yet even though miss cranky pants would be cranky towards him, he decided to still be nice and go get her breakfast. So he would get a simple breakfast of french toast, eggs and bacon. And upon coming back to his room, the miss cranky herself was awake. Zephyr flashed her a smile before putting the tray of food on the desk next to her. "So how are you feeling cranky?"

@Caits
Ike Riven

Having left Isla after not much being said between either, he went to bed to wake up the next morning rather early. He would walk around the camp before gathering towards the area that Gabriel was cooking in. Ike stared at him for a bit before walking over and examining it, Ike would pat him on the shoulder as he looked at the food. "So whens it going to be done Gabriel? Also about yesterday... I get what you were trying to do, yet its how you went about it that made it fail. Trying to talk people down from fighting is the nice option... just don't go adding in that they are acting like a bunch of children. You don't stop a fight by insulting. I can sense you want to fit in, I can't tell you how to do that. All I can say is choose your words wisely, If people are sad, then don't tell them to suck it up. If their is a dispute then don't say they are acting like children. Pretty much, even if they are indeed acting like children, you sometimes have to bite your pride and choose the words they want to hear. No matter how wrong it is." Ike said before sitting down at one of the table awaiting Gabriel's meal.

Cyare Staunton: In the City

(@Raijinslayer, he is but he hasn't gotten around to posting yet.)

"Respectfully," The Tactical Mage said, her previously civil tone taking on a faintly cooler edge. "I am not inclined to divulge much information on the subject to someone I just met. My Magic is my edge, and I do not like giving up my ace up the sleeve. Nothing personal. Rei, on the other hand, is just arrogant enough to love talking about it. So he might be more inclined to answer."

"Speaking of, Rei, we need to decide on a job."

FERRIS

He had just started to put his usual white jacket with cream white fur lining its hood as he was talking on a mini-communication lacrima in his hand. The way he was speaking to whoever was on the other end seemed to had made him very bitter and annoyed. "Your heard me, I'm retiring! Contract renewal? I don't give a damn if you're going to pay me more, I'm done. What? Why the hell did you make a deal with Mystique Fashion without my consent you shitty-! I'm not getting your ass out of this! Find someone else to do it! Furthermore-!" He stopped mid-sentence at the door knocking and sighed heavily. "Look, I've been thinking about this for awhile now. Why would you think I was so persistent to commentate for the games? I'm looking for a guild to join." Again he heard knocking from the door. "I gotta go. Talk to ya later." He turned the communication lacrima off and stowed it into his pocket.

"Tch, I swear. I feel like I'm a cash cow getting milked for all I'm worth, blood sucking managers." Ferris mumbled to himself and opened the door. His sour expression relaxed into a more pleasantly surprised one. He leaned against the door frame with crossed arms and a soft smile. "Your timing couldn't be any more impeccable. Let me get that for you." He leaned forward and took the breakfast from Jess and carried it to a small table by the window in his room.

@Oblivion666@Caits
ENMA

God damn, how much did he drink last night? Judging by all of the barrels surrounding him, a lot. Slowly, he lifted his huge, aching body from his bed and rubbed his temples. Hangovers are such a pain, but drinking with his pals was just too much fun. All he could remember before he passed out was that Dalton flew back to Phoenix Wing's hotel, plastered from excessive drinking, and as he flew he wobbled in the air. Enma slowly got dressed and pulled his long, silver hair into a pony tail before walking out of his tent to go get some food as well as a hangover remedy. With all of the magic in the world, there had to be some form to cure hangovers.

The oni found himself sitting next to Ike, who was talking to Gabriel about something, but it all sound like garbled garbage in his head. His head was pounding so hard that he couldn't focus on whatever the hell they were saying. "Ugh...too much talking. It's too early for noise..."

NOLAN and DALTON

God how he didn't want to get out of bed. All he wanted to do was to just get some sleep, even if it meant he would miss the games today. It had only been three days, three damn days and he was so emotionally drained that he didn't want to get out. That is until he felt something spooning him. He got up and saw that it was Dalton clinging onto him in his sleep, drooling with a perverted smile on his face. "...What the hell?" He grabbed the Exceed by his face and begun to stretch his cheeks out as far as they could. "Oi, we agreed that you'd sleep on the sofa, not the bed. Also, where the hell were you last night and why do you reek of booze?"

"Uuuuuugh, let go of me will ya? I was just drinkn' with Enma and his guild, that's all. Where were ya yesterday after the match? I couldn't find ya anywhere and had to stick with Enma. Bastard used me as a football!"
Nolan dropped Dalton onto the bed and he rubbed his sore cheeks.

The God Slayer rubbed his sore head and said, "Nothing for you to worry about. Come on, we're going to have a shower. Your fur and breath smell like you were dumped into a beer keg."

"That's because Enma dunked me into one!"

Later, Nolan and Dalton were dressed and down to have breakfast with the rest of the guild. Nolan sat down right after he had gotten himself a cup of black tea with milk and a plate with eggs benedict served with smoked salmon instead of bacon and on the side was bacon and sweet potato fries. Dalton on the other hand was eating a plate of whole, raw fish.

Argus Leandros

Argus grin fell slightly at the initial refusal, but picked up again when she offered a coffee the next day.

"Yeah, sounds great, and don.t worry about paying, I should have enough for the both of us. See you then." He gave a small wave before walking off to join the others in their merriment. It was a little awkward at first, but after everyone had a few drinks(which Argus had to force himself through before the alcohol kicked in), every had a merry old time. Then the inevitable end came to the day, leaving all to be quiet till the next morning, where the trio by the cooking fire would hear a stream of low curses coming from the haggard figure of Argus, clutching his head as he staggared onto the scene, suffering from the effects of his first and (hopefully) last hangover.

"Why does it feel like someone took a bat to my brain and how do I makeit stoooooop?" Argus moaned as he collapsed onto one of the seats, holding his mouth in an attempt to keep himself from hurling. It worked at first, but eventually he coukdn't hold it back any longer, cauding him to vomit onto the ground several times as his body worked to eject the poison from itself. Wiping the sick from his lips, he grimaced at the foul stench emanating from the foul organic matter. Raising his hand, he brought forth some of his magic in energy form and vaporized the vomit on the ground, before doing a more controlled burst to his arm and the inside of his mouth to get rid of any stray traces of sick. "Fuckin' hell, I'm never drinking that stuff again. I'd rather have my toenails pulled out than go through this again."

Argus continued to moan to himself a little before motioning to Gaberial for some food. While he probably shouldn't be eatng, he was currently way too hungry to care. "Pass some of whatever you're cooking over here, please and thank you."

Argus was currently unaware of most of the people around him, as his current headache olus earliwe morning grogginess kept him from recognizi g who he was currently interacting with.

Nidhogg

"A smart way to live," Nidhogg replied, casting his gaze out the window aa he noticed the hour. "And while your friend definitely looks boisterous enough to do so, I fear I must take my leave. May we meet again someday, as you both seem to be interesting individuals. I wish you luck on your endeavors." Nidhogg gave them both a lazy wave before he rose to leave the building. He'd spend the night hunting for prey in the dark alley streets, but for entertainment rather than food. After having his fun, he fell asleep on the roof of some random building, and stayed there throughout the night. Even as the sun rose and awakened him, he didn't feel like moving yet. So he stayed, waiting to see if anything interesting would be happening besides the games.

@Krayzikk(Since we've moved on to the next day, I decided to have Nidhogg move on, though if you want to continuethe interaction, just have Cyare appear near the building he's on)

Kaitlyn DeRoe
@Zarkun
Location: Secluded park in Crocus

Kaitlyn quickly awoke in the next day as the sun started to rise. Finally feeling recharged from her sleep, the Wizard Saint bounced over to a mirror and used her magic to instantly change into her usual outside attire. After a quick breakfast, earphones magically appeared in her ears that started playing some fast classical music and made a burst out from her hotel full of energy and began her morning "jog" all over Crocus. By "jog" it's more of parkour since she's usually running over buildings, trees, boats, et cetera. But she just likes calling a jog.

During her jog, she found herself in a secluded park was surprised to see a familiar. It was definitely Damian as she got closer and because she was still full of energy since she woke up, she couldn't help but doing the same thing when she meets someone again. She attempted to fling herself towards Damian and gave him, like anyone else, her usual inhuman back breaking huggles with a warm smile.

With that over, Kaitlyn bounced back and quickly shook Damian hand. "Nice running into you again Damian. Especially on such a beautiful morning! Since you're here, I hope you don't mind me asking. How's your life as a guild member going so far? I've never really been interested enough to join one, but that doesn't mean that I can't be curious. That and assuming the sleeping bag over there is yours, it seems odd that you slept out here than at your guild's hotel. Did something happen with the guild, than again I suppose not every hotel is perfect. But, Frenzy Plant does have a camp as well. So I guess I shouldn't be too surprised."

Damian Gerard|Secluded Park in Crocus

Damian parried an invisible sword with his left hand while bringing the right around for a thrust at the attacker's chest, forcing them to dance back and expose themselves ever so briefly, which was enough time for Damian to execute a spinning slash across their gut and ram the other cutlass into his chest, pulling the blade free and barely managing to get the blades out of the way as Kaitlyn came out of no where with a hug. Stunned briefly, Damian took a moment to return the hug before she stepped back and started talking.

"Nice running into you again Damian. Especially on such a beautiful morning! Since you're here, I hope you don't mind me asking. How's your life as a guild member going so far? I've never really been interested enough to join one, but that doesn't mean that I can't be curious. Did something happen with the guild, than again I suppose not every hotel is perfect. But, Frenzy Plant does have a camp as well. So I guess I shouldn't be too surprised."

Damian didn't answer right away, instead opting to sheath the twin cutlasses and rest them on the trunk of a tree next to Durandal. Done with that, he turned to his pack and dug out his water, taking a drink and sighing before answering. "Guild life is, well, good. Plenty of jobs, friends, people who care. But with Phoenix Wing, well, things are never quite normal. I agreed with fighting the Council because Wes needed to be saved and I had personal experience with some of the things the old Council members had done. But the repercussions...Well, after yesterday, if every dark guild in Fiore is out for blood, eventually we're going to fail." Damian shakes his head and picks up one of his cutlasses, looking it over. These hadn't spilled blood in the defense of home and country in a long time, but no matter what he tried..."In any case, war is coming. I can feel it. Dad and I always had a sense for when a battle was over the horizon, and even wars on occasion. But I can't honestly say how long we have."

"You know, if you keep frowning that much, you might start growing older faster." Joshua said as Jamie passed by, getting a feeling that something was definitely on her mind. Reaching out, he grabbed her and dragged her downstairs before stopping short of a chair and beckoning her towards it. "Sit, talk. Tell me what's wrong. Though, if I had to guess, it's concerning the tussle you had with Master Jack of Dragon Fang last night? I'm also guessing, from what Amelia told me, that things didn't turn out that well?"

Amelia Averyonna

@Caits

"Five more minutes." Amelia mumbled, turning over in her bed, having failed to sleep well the night before. She was worried about how events where going to play out with these Games now and all she could hope was that there wasn't another incident.

Lucus Griffonbane

@Amaya Yashia

Lucus hummed as he walked down the street, heading for Phoenix Wing's hotel to have breakfast with his wife and daughter. He regretted not visiting he night before but he had been exhausted after the match and his guild mates had wanted to congratulate him. So, he had partied a bit with them but was going to try to make it up to Rose and Elyse today. Even if Phoenix Wing and Rider's Blade relationship was mostly hostile, nothing would stop him from spending time with his daughter and her mother.

Jack, the Maiden of the Mist

@Zarkun @Caits

Jackie was still in the room she had been taken to after her match but she was beginning to stir as she began coming out of her coma. Thanks to all the healing she had received, she would be able to move but it would be painful. But, pain had never stopped her before and she groaned as she sat up, holding her head.

Edo-Karn, Karn, and Ariel - Phoenix Wing Hotel

@Silver Fox@t2wave
Having returned to the guilds hotel for the night, Ariel went to bed pondering if she could help Karn. By then she had already changed to her Spirit magic and thus far had no luck. How the magic worked was a complete mystery to her. So far anything it did had been involuntary. And this would be no different because as Ariel slept her magic kicked in.

What could only be described as an out of body experience, Ariel's spirit rose from her body. Floating in the air she saw herself sleeping in bed. Quite confused for a moment she floated to the door and found that she passed right through objects. What was going on? Either this was her magic again or she was dreaming. Not restricted by walls she floated around to see that others were sleeping. "Hello. Hello! Anyone!" Try as she might though no one seemed to hear or see her for that matter. This was definitely strange.

After a while she went back to her body but couldn't get back in it. What was the deal? Did she have to do something first? Half an hour passed before she really tried to relax and think. Once she cleared her mind Ariel felt drawn toward Karn's room. Following the feeling she could sense that there were two souls in Karn's body. One was extremely weak but they seemed to be trying to fill a void. Making a mistake Ariel moved closer and felt herself being pulled in with the other two souls. Unable to escape she was drawn in like Edo-Karn had been before her.

Edo-Karn had a long day, to say the least. It took her awhile to even fall asleep with the chattering noises within her mind, or the thousands of thoughts of the current problems and possible solutions that she was trying to sift through for the best possible outcome. Throughout the day, she promptly avoided talking to most of the Phoenix Wing members, other than a few who seemed to wish to speak with her. But after hanging around at the stadium and then returning to the hotel, taking a few hours to just lay there and having conversations with herself, sleep finally overtook her.

When Ariel's spirit entered the soul inhabited body, Karn's body mildly shifted but didn't stir. Within, it was a black realm. Some white tiny little orbs floating about like fireflies. A red line among the floor was carved into the black ground. Red chains edging around it and seeping to the right side of it, pulling and tugging at something in that direction, while the right side was a bit lighter and more white. Slowly revealing a forest.

Not too far in, a blue butterfly fluttered among the bushes before the green undergrowth rustled before a little creature pounced out to swat at the fluttering creature. It looked like Karn's Eastern Chimera form, but in cub form. The little cub had smaller black horns and tufts of mane were growing around the neck and on top of its head. Long tail flicking about in a wagging manner. Draconic scales along the shoulders and thighs that weren't as thick as its grown up version. Tiny sabertooth fangs sticking out from the upperlip and passing over the chin a little. Glowing green eyes, and the creature was about the size of a large cat.

"Hey. Come back!" The feline like creature chirped, Karn's voice ringing from it as he lept up at the butterfly, cubby paws swatting at the butterfly.

To say that Ariel was confused would be an understatement. This was like a whole different world, albeit a rather empty one. Easily distracted a moment she reached out to one of the floating orbs. Before touching it though she noticed the red line and began to follow it with her eyes. Was something on the other end? Focus not being this personalities strong suit she would have probably continued following the movement had she not heard Karn's voice.

Spinning around she took a moment to process what she was seeing. Karn did have transformation magic so it shouldn't be that surprising. "Karn!" Forgetting that it was probably weird for her to be where she was she ran over to Karn and put him in a hug. "You're alright. The other Karn made it sound like you weren't feeling well."

Letting out a little mewl of surprise as he was suddenly scooped up, the cub blinked and looked up at the person holding him, giving a friendly purr, raising a paw to slightly paw at Ariel's chin. "Copycat! Hiya! Whatcha doin here?" Karn chirped cheerfully, tilting his head as the girl mentioned another Karn and he thought for a moment and nodded.

"Oh, Eddy. Yeah. She's been pretty great. Don't see her much cause she keeps to her side. Says if she gets too close she'll suck me in or somethin. But, I get to play here all I want. Pretty fun." he mused before perking his ears with a happy cheerful smile.

Karn's mood wasn't what Ariel was expecting. Was this how someone "gives up?" For a moment the girl had a perplexed expression on her face before managing a smile. Karn was far too cute to ignore. "Yeah. She told me that too. Something like if she's stuck in here for too long then she'll disappear and live your life." Pondering it for a moment it clicked in her head. "She also said that you had given up. I don't quite understand because you don't look unhappy."

Taking a moment to admire the forest it slowly dawned on her what was going on. This was like some sort of dream. Not her dream, but Karn's. And perhaps the other side was Edo-Karn's. It would be nice if she understood how to properly use this magic. Involuntarily astral projecting herself could be dangerous. "I'm not completely sure how I got here. The Spirit magic confuses me most of the time. But I am pretty sure I'm here for you." Kneeling down she set Karn on the ground. "The others in the guild are worried about you. And if we don't do something soon then one of you may be gone forever."

Karn purred as he was held before being set down. Ears flicking at her words and whiskers twitching. For a brief moment his emerald gaze flickered sadly but soon brightened again as he gave a yawn and stretched out. Rolling onto his back and rolling about in the cool grass. "Well I'm not. This place is great! And I can stay in here and do whatever I want. Be with whoever. It's nice. Eddy can control my body. She's a fast learner. Can make tough decisions but still be nice. Even if she's a bit hard to get along with at first. The others will do alright, and if we merge, then they won't realize I'm gone. So... Maybe disappearing isn't so bad. Maybe it'll be like a eternal dream that I won't wake up from." Karn said in such a chirpy manner, despite the fact he just said he wouldn't mind disappearing and just living... A dream. It sounded nice. Living a dream was way easier then living reality. So if his other self wanted to live that way, he wouldn't stop her.

Somewhat hard to argue with a dream world. If it can be any way you want then the only catch is it isn't real. "Eddy made it sound like she would be the one going away. That's not really fair to her considering she is the one keeping you alive. What if the roles were switched and you wanted to live?" That sounded more judgmental than she had planned on it. "Sorry, I didn't mean to imply..." Deciding to drop the thought she tried to think of reasons to stay around.

Karn did say he could do and see what and whoever he wanted. Maybe there was part of this that she didn't fully grasp. "I don't understand what's wrong with the real world. All your friends are there and are real. Sure it isn't perfect, but that's what makes the good times good."

Karn's ears twitched a little before lowering a little at his counterpart's price in this. She was suffering now because of this situation. The magic forcing itself to delve side effects within her mind... To help make her give up. Surrender. He was promptly turning a blind eye to it. He didn't know why she just didn't end it by ending him yet. "Yeah. She's facing side effects. And even though if my soul is destroyed, memories of Eddy is erased either way. Even if she got back, her friends wouldn't remember her. She still keeps trying though. Someone like that is better off out there. While I can stay here..." Karn answered, rolling on to his paws and crouching. Wiggling his haunches befor pouncing on a rock. He knew he was being selfish. He was tired of it all though.

As Ariel questioned further and pointed out his friends from the real world, his whiskers twitched again. "But not ALL of them are there in reality. Ru.... Rian... Mother.... Hemlock... They are not there. And all that happens when I'm out there... Is that everyone dies. Mother died. Father and brother loathe me. Ru.... Died and was skinned. Rian... She's surely dead. Hemlock.... I couldn't save him, I couldn't save anyone. He died and ZZ lost his only family. Lost his precious father because of me. Those people Damian killed. I couldn't save them either. I couldn't save any of them. No one. It's my fault. So I'm tired of it. I don't want reality anymore. Everyone is better off without me." he said softly, leaping off the rock and turning away from his guest.

"So just leave me alone, and let me disappear." he finished in a softer somber tone, his back to his Guildmate.

Ariel sat quietly and listened. There was apparently a lot she didn't know about. At lot of it Karn blamed himself for. She of course couldn't entirely tell if it was his fault or not. She had no idea what had transpired which all the events he talked about. Right now she wished she could read minds so she could get a better picture of what happened. "I see. Just because you weren't able to prevent something doesn't make it your fault Karn." Standing up she looked around. Maybe Eddy could give her some insight to what Karn was talking about. Or maybe one of those people he was talking about were around.

"I'll be back. Actually, I don't really know if I can actually leave. I got pulled in here too." Figuring Karn needed some time to think she turned and headed toward where she saw the red. Hopefully whatever could happen to Karn wouldn't happen with her too. Then again she didn't have any plans of dying.

Karn's ears flicked as Ariel spoke but didn't respond until he watched her go. "Take care." the feline said before turning and bouncing along the forest. Trying to enjoy himself again in his dreamlike world.

Further along the red chains, whispers could be heard. It started out small, but it became louder and more numerous from all around. Too many chattering to really understand it all. It was like being at a night club, constant noise in the darkness. Eventually the chains ended with Edo-Karn. She had a bit longer blonde hair, ratty and unkempt, looked a bit like a mane. She didn't have a shirt on, but her entire chest was replaced with complete metal instead of flesh. A red circular light on the left side of her chest where her heart should be. Metallic wiring along her arms and wrists and over her spine. Looking like a metallic skeleton over the skin. Wearing raggy brown cargo pants. The red chains cuffs firmly around her throat, Wrists and ankles while red chains were draped over her body. It seemed to be trying to pull her in the direction of Karn, but she remained sitting there and ignoring it.

She was sitting on the floor, several figures all around her chattering up a storm, but seemed to be playing some sort of card game with a tall red haired woman.

"Fuck it! Fuck you! You bloody cheated you bitch!" the red head shouted loudly and angrily from her cross legged sitting position as she glared between the cards on the ground and at her opponent across from her. Her massive heavy armor clinking as she slammed powerful angry fists against the floor. The cards shaking from the impact.

"No. You're just a dumb oaf. Maybe you shouldn't be a sore loser. Idiot." she said in a blunt bored tone.

"Fuck you!"

"Flattered. Really. But no thanks."

"Agh your such a annoying piece of shit!"

"And you're a dumbass. Next statement."

"At least I'm not some high and mighty whore! Ash you agree right?!" the red head shouted before snapping her blue gaze to look at a taller but lanky boyish dirty blonde girl who was eating a lollipop but froze in place.

The tall dirty blonde glanced between the two uncomfortably as she continued sucking on the piece of candy.

"Don't bring her in on your stupidity."

"Shut up! I'm not stupid, your stupid!"

"Says the one who lost to a basic trap."

"Shut up! I was going easy! Again! Let's play again!"

"Can we not? Listening to you two argue is giving me a migraine." Pen said with annoyance as he sat in a chair boredly. The red haired man giving a annoyed with.

"How immature." Maddox spoke with a gruff grunt as he sat across from Pen, leaning back with his feet on the table.

"Bet you Karn wins for the tenth time." Mayat spoke boredly as she lied down on a bench, Trinity sitting on the ground in front of it. Skimpy clothes with highlights in her hair.

"Never know! Maybe Alex sweetie will win one this time." Trinity chirped cheerfully.

"Doubtful." Damian spoke as he seemed to be cleaning his blade.

"Kids sure are energetic." a huge tanned and battle scarred man bellowed with long mane like brown hair and wearing armor.

"They are all idiots." a smaller black haired woman, wearing what looked like a steampunky engineer outfit as she fiddled with some equipment beside the man at a table.

"Least she's alive. I'm over here kinda dead. No biggee or anything." James spoke up, armor stained in blood and the front of him looking quite gauged out. Face bloody and looking a bit crush and hallow.

"Oh shut up no one cares at this point James." Maddox spoke.

"Hey! You shut up before I kill you again!" Damian growled.

"Would you all shut the fuck up?! I'm trying to think here!" Alex snapped loudly.

"Oh thinking. You? That's new." Edo-Karn said sarcastically with a smartass smirk as she watched the red head time angrily before looking toward Ariel. Emerald gaze narrowing in examination. "Hey there Mermaid. First time I see you here. Odd." she mused as she shuffled the deck of cards.

It was odd seeing somewhat familiar faces with unfamiliar characteristics. This must have been the equivalent to what Karn was talking about. Or perhaps the opposite since they didn't seem to get along all that great. After some squabbling Edo-Karn acknowledged Ariel's presence. Although it seemed she thought it was another imaginary person. Hello again. It's actually me by the way. Remember the Spirit magic I mentioned before? Apparently it allowed me to come here. Well, actually I got too close and I got pulled in but you get the idea."

She made her way passed the others and looked closer at the chains. Well that definitely counted as being trapped here. On impulse she gave it a tug to see how strong it was. It was pretty clear that no amout of pulling was going to break it. "Hmh. Do you know anything about the people Karn blames himself for killing? It would be helpful if I knew more about what happened to them."

Edo-Karn gave the girl the same calm unreadable expression the blonde usually carried before returning her emerald gaze to the cards as she continued to shuffle them. Ignoring most of the chatter ringing in the area by the other figures. "It's a bit more difficult to tell what is real and not real from inside here. But sure, magic, why the hell not? Not too much I won't accept at this point. Ya know, with the whole soul snatching to another world thing. So yeah, I'll just go ahead and accept what your saying is real. At least you're not telling me to kill someone, so that's a start." she answered before placing down starting to flick cards at the tall red haired woman and herself. Glancing her emerald eyes toward Ariel at the question, the blonde hummed for a moment as she tried to think of a answer.

"His memories come in bits of pieces to me, but some of his painful ones do stand out a bit. When he was a kid he wanted to go fishing with his mother, they went and a sudden storm hit. His mother drowned and he survived. The counterpart of her I suppose." Edo-Karn said, tilting her head towards a unhealthy skinny woman in a chair. Mumbling and rambling, occasionally cackling. Blonde hair ragged and unkempt and wearing a simply white dress.

Picking up another card, the Edolian continued. "The rest of his family attempted to kill him. Then a giant dragon cat thing named Ru and a woman named Rian came along and basically adopted him. They got separated, and a couple of months ago on a job, your Karn discovered Ru's skinned pelt. He went berserk and basically ripped the people who had it apart and almost murdered his blood father and brother because it was their pelt. Not too long before on a job with some Dragon boy... Zero? Zeno? Something like that with Trigger happy over there." she explained, nodding to what looked like Damian while examining her cards.

"Ended up having to kill a dragon, that I guess was number Zero's daddy, and Trigger Happy killed a bunch of people causing it so I guess he feels responsible for not being able to save any of them and basically thinks he practically murdered them all himself because he should of been good enough to save each life... or something." Edo-Karn finished.

"That is a lot of shit. What a big baby." Pen said boredly.

Well that certainly cleared some things up for Ariel. It wasn't everything but enough information to make a decent assumption. But right now probably wasn't a good idea to talk with Karn again. "Thank you for the information. Hopefully I can help Karn with it and get you out of here" Thinking for a moment she posed a question "Come to think of it, what happens to you if you Karn recovers? Is there anywhere for you to go?"

Edo-Karn took another glance at the wizard at the words, giving a slight nod in response to the gratitude. Ariel really did seem to be trying her best in what she could with this complicated situation. Though the blonde couldn't quite understand why she seemed to want to help her specifically. In this situation, the Edolian was more a parasite trying to take over. A unhappy one, but one that would happen eventually if not dismissed. Perhaps it was the minor kinship from sharing the blood of Edolas, or maybe just out of kindness. Either way, Karn was thankful for the attempt, even if her calm face hardly showed it.

"If he's strong enough to stand on his own, then his soul will automatically start fighting, we will most likely clash as he has little focus and control. Battle it out until someone's determination to live gives out. Could last a lot longer as it would be on equaler footing, or be a short end. My original body was sort of turned to ash and is back home... And home is far away so technically no. There is no place for me. I'm the unwilling invader." she responded.

"Going slowly insane." Maddox pointed out.

"Nah, she's already there." Pen replied nonchalantly.

Tapping her chin a bit Ariel tried to come up with a solution. This sounded very similar to Annslise. She wouldn't give up either and they managed to put her soul into an object before Fleo set her free into the world again. "Actually, I think I have a solution. I was on a job several months ago that fits this situation very closely. A woman was dying but her magic and will to live created a manifestation. At one point we had to put her in an object temporarily so she wouldn't die but we did manage to get her free again the the real world."

This could work. Although Edo-Karn knew nothing of magic so she probably couldn't survive on her own. "You probably can't do it on your own. But maybe with my magic we can make something work. First I have to get Karn to change his mind though. I doubt it will work with the chains holding you here.

Edo-Karn raised a eyebrow, along with the other figures in the area, the blonde seeming interested in this notion. "I was thinking of having to construct my own body. I made several prototypes back home but they didn't have the quite.... The exact me. Just a A.I. Actual soul transfers aren't usually a thing. As my friends back home have probably already discovered by now." she mused at the memory. Another fail safe idea if she should ever perish. Although determined not to die, didn't mean she would go unprepared for the possible situation. It would be just a sort of look a like, with metal instead of actual flesh, but it least would have programmed memories and calculations in order to keep home base able and safe. None of her friends were exactly tech savvy.

"I don't really mind having to transfer different forms if it's neccessary, but by end game when I get home, whichever form I have can't rely on magic. Edolas, although is slowly getting magic, probably got a bucket full thanks to recent breaches, is still not magic based. Magic is still cut off as your wizard friends proved when they visited. As much as I would like to test out the amount of magic currently residing in Edolas, it is preferable if my life isn't cut out in a immobile like corpse body when I drop back home in possibly the middle of nowhere." the blonde said before glancing at the chains, mildly tugging them as the jingled and snapped, trying to pull her but with little success. But still kept her from moving very far.

"Yeah, these are a little uncomfortable. And it be nice to be rid of all these voices that are trying to coax me into either giving up or randomly killing people." she said almost tiredly.

It seemed like a direction to go. Ariel didn't really know what Edo-Karn was talking about. Constructs were not entirely unheard of but they generally were animated by magic. Somehow she doubted that the technology that was being talked about here was fully develped. "I don't know how much time we have to make the body you're talking about. We may need to put you in something else in the meantime so you can instruct me on what to do. But I think it's possible to do what you're saying."

For a moment everything seemed to shake and Ariel could feel herself being cut off from the outside. The night was ending and Edo-Karn was waking up. "Wh-what's going on?" The dream world began to fade away and the opportunity for Ariel to get out closed.

For the moment Ariel was relegated to another voice in Edo-Karn's head. It did afford her the same access as the other voices though. Meaning she could see and hear the same things as Edo-Karn. "Whoa! What the heck! I can't move. Wait this isn't my... Who is this? Karn! Oh god she must have woken up. Can anyone hear me?"

@t2wave

"Well Well Well, guess the little invader decided to stay around. How utterly amusing." The voice of Pen spoke out in minor amusement.

"Eh don't worry Honeybun! We all can hear you! And every little thought you have! Just like you can hear Karn's! Hopefully she doesn't think of anything too graphic for you." Trinity's voice giggled out in utter amusement and playfulness.

"Fuck! She woke up without finishing the fucking game! Bitch you knock yourself the fuck out right now!" Alex spoke out in anger before pausing. "Eat pancakes first. And a lot more bacon. Cause I can't do it! You have to feed us all!" the rough voice finished.

"Kinda nice just sitting at this table alone, ignoring everyone. Bunch of idiots anyway." Maddox's voice rang out boredly.

"I wonder if we can spot the alive me." James chimed in curiously.

"Could perhaps size up our counterparts better if she would bother to be sociable." Damian's voice spoke.

"Well I say you all shut up so there can be actual logical thinking instead of trivial idiocy." Rian's voice spat in annoyance.

"Now now don't be like that! We have a involuntary guest! Might as well let her enjoy herself as she has no reign on what's going on and is literally in someone's head and able to know every thought and feeling they have!" Ru's voice chirped, earning a mild frustrated grown from the woman before.

Voices continued to chatter and chime, though it seemed a little worse today. Maybe it just gets worse as time goes by.

The blonde paused in her devouring of food as she caught one of the familiar voices in her mind. Absently chewing on a piece of bacon as her emerald eyes only slightly widened from their tired calm before deciding to just continue eating. Shoving a piece of food in her mouth as this body's stomach roared in anger as if baffled that she dare stop from consuming the most important meal of the day. It sounded like Ariel's voice, but again this was coming from her currently mentally ill head that was hearing thousands of voices. Many familiar. She just came off a dream of Ariel so it wouldn't be surprising if she was added into the mix.

"Do you all need to be noisy this early in the morning?" Karn thoughtfully responded before continuing to chew on her food and absently examining some people in the room. One was a man that she was pretty sure was on her team. Maybe. Though he was with a feline creature that looked like... a Exceed? Maybe her mind was playing with her again but hell they said the supposed gods were spirited away or something. The man at least, somewhat... familiar based on memories not her own but she just continued eating. She didn't know him at all herself. Just from faint memories. Damian was similar, though she pretty much learned all she needed by one conversation and she deemed that he was just a distasteful interaction. Everyone else so far, was tolerable but she hardly spoke to them other then the two previous nosy members and the pretty Dragon girl. Such a pretty face and curves. She had to wonder if dragon people were built like that?

Deciding to test it, she tried using this body's more heightened senses that made humans pale in comparison. Sniffing the air to try and distinguish something that smelled somewhat similar. Yet she didn't find any. Closest so far was the man with the cat but his scent wasn't quite as pleasing as Amaya. Not saying it was bad but it was more like... gunpowder? No... cinders? Maybe like when someone walks into a old attic filled with stuff? Yet held that musky scent of a man. It was difficult to describe to say the least.

----

Meanwhile, the Earthland Karn's voice said ever so quietly, as if not wanting to exactly disturb the one in control's thoughts. "Awe.. Copycat. You got stuck here. Hehe... Guess the more the merrier. Both of you feel so warm." Karn's voice spoke out to Ariel softly and a little cheerfully. Almost glad to have more company in this body it seemed.

Penny
@CirusArvennicus
Penny listened as Trinity spoke, and as she did a realisation came to her. Her eyes widened slightly, and she almost didn't hear what Trinity said, "You were attacked, again? What do you mean dissent?" Penny cast her mind back to the blimp, wondering how there could be dissent among those that controlled that. As she spoke, she began to make her way down the hallway, knocking on doors. "Why didn't you tell anyone yesterday?" She asked Trinity

Carrie
@oblivion666
Carrie threw the headphones at Zephyr, her stomach churning at even the thought of food. "Wondering if you drugged me to get me into your bed" She replied, deliberately pushing back the blankets-she didn't remember falling asleep with them on, had he covered her?-and rising, ignoring the slight dizziness accompanied with such a maneuver. [i]concussion, most likely. lovely. "If you make me eat, I'll be sick. And I'll deliberately make sure it gets on you" She ran her fingers through her hair, grimacing at the feel of dried blood.

She was probably covered in dried blood, dirt and who knew what else. She wanted to get clean, but her clothes were in her hotel room.

Gabriel
@Raijinslayer
Gabriel didn't respond to Ike. He didn't see the point in it. It wouldn't gain him anything, and it would probably just serve to make it worse. He stirred the food, and then almost viciously stabbed a potato piece, finding it soft as it split in half. He found some bowls, and began to dish the food out, handing some to Argus, "If you hurl again, you aren't getting anymore. I'd like to keep my appetite" He said "eat the potato's first, they'll help settle your stomach" he added, shifting the pan slightly so it was no longer directly on the fire.

Jessie
@hatakekuro
jessie could hear Ferris arguing with someone, mildy amused, as she could only hear his side of the conversation, she inserted the other side, amusing herself with respones. "Retiring? What are you, crazy?!....I've already got you a deal with Mystique fashion!...no, don't you hang up!..." She giggled ot herself, smiling as the door was finally answered.

Her hands free of the breakfast, Jessie shoved them in her pockets, following him to the table, "Sounded like a fiery conversation there. You're thinking of joining a guild?"

Master Jamie
@Joshua Tamashii
"Would you be aggreable to things after a few hours of being hurt? Everything is fine, Joshua. I have things to do" Jamie replied, remaining standing, "I'll do what's right for the guild, that's all you need to worry about. I have to get the others moving" Jamie said wearily

Jarvis
Sam was already up and about, eagerly bouncingn around, dressed, but she seemed to struggle with pony tails, once more it was slack and coming loose. She leaped onto the bed happily, and hugged Amelia.

Jarvis sighed, "You need to have some breakfast, Amelia"

Amaya Vanisis // Crocus // Phoenix Wing Hotel - Crocus Streets

Amaya once again didn't sleep due to the fact she kept smelling smoke and the smell of burning wood along with hearing the occasional scream every time she tried to sleep as she was sure it was all in her head. she honestly was not happy about what normally would happen once the voices and smell start appearing. She had been sitting on her window sill writing in the old tome about her abilities as a dragonslayer to make sure it was as up to date as she could make it. Once the sun was up and the sounds of merchants peddling their wares and people getting together and ready for what today would hold. she got dressed and ready before hopping out her window landing gently in the bushes as she got up dusting off her clothing before readjusting her hood and scarf before she headed into the soon to be crowded streets of Crocus to explore.

Rose Yashia // Crocus // Phoenix Wing Hotel

@Joshua Tamashii
Rose had woke up early and got elyse dressed before letting her go back to sleep as she stayed up getting some coffee while reading her book waiting for the day to begin. Once it was time to get up and about she refixed elyse's hair before carrying her out of their room heading for the dinning area toget something to eat. she sat down only to look at the entrance, sensing lucus as she was curious what he was doing up so early

Cody

When Cody returned to his hotel room he didn't notice that Jasmine was gone just due to his sheer exhaustion. He collapsed into his bed and was fast asleep.
However when he awoke and found that she wasn't in the room he quickly got changed and went to look for her. She was his responsibility after all.

Jasmine

Jasmine awoke with a stir due to the morning sun blinding her. She hadn't closed the blinds and got up now to do so. She didn't remember much past her little panic attack, but it would seem that Penny had found a room for her.
Leaving now to look for Penny, she decided to check the dining room.

@Caits

Joshua frowned.
"Actually... yeah, I would be fine. Would I be happy, no, most definitely not. But I still wouldn't act like you are. Life goes one Jamie and what's done is done. Nothing you can do now. However, if you plan on having it run through you like a poison, that's your choice. Just don't expect us all to agree with how you're handling such a little thing." Joshua said, shouldering his blade before turning his back to her. "If you plan on leading someone like me, you need to show more resolve then this. I have no time for the weak. I know nothing about me other then what you're displaying right now. And I aint impressed.

Anyway, you seem more intent on avoiding help that's being given then anything else. Your choice. Push everyone away, distance yourself from the world and everyone around you. I guess your ideals of family mean absolutely nothing to you.
."

With that, he went to walk away to see if he could find Amaya or someone who was more worth his time. Though, at the same time, he was hoping Jamie would finally have enough and actually try attacking him.

Lucus Griffonbane
@Amaya Yashia

"Good morning. How are my two girls doing today?" Lucus said as he walked over to Rose and Elyse, the latter smiling brightly at the sight of him.

"DADDY!" She shouted, as he gave her a hug.

Really? Drugged? This woman..... "Don't ya remember yesterday? Eh probably better that way. To sum it up though, you got knocked around, were stubborn as a damn wild animal, until you finally just couldn't walk anymore. So I tried taking you to a clinic to which you politely freaked out about. You then agreed to rest after about several hours of hell and I brought you here. You were much cuter when you were more scared like someone took you to a doc-.... oh yeah I did. Anyway no drugs, and you are very much still stubborn." He ended up sighing as his act of kindness was pretty much stomped on. He noticed she looked disgusted as she ran her hand through her hair and he just sighed and pointed towards the bathroom. "Go for it, can even borrow my clothes. Or don't you will probably pick that choice anyway." Zephyr said picking his headphones off the ground and putting them on his head. "Well nice meeting you I guess. Yet Im going to go get ready for the games today. I"m done helping you, or in your case, annoying you." Zephyr said with a little salute before walking out the door.

"They were much bolder, this time..." Trinity seemed thoughtful, wondering what that might mean. Last time, it was Kregor who had come to catch her, but this time there were three, and Kregor wasn't among them, she could determine that. Unless Kregor simply hadn't shown himself, but... "Well, there's only the small sample I have to go off of, but they did catch me, or one of them did. And then the one who caught me let me go before the others showed up. I guess their leader's been feeding her a false pretext? That's what it sounded like. She pulled them off my trail later, as well. And I told Sasha."

Lazarus
@Caits

He awoke after one of the most peaceful nights sleep he had ever had. He stretched, getting up to wash and clothe himself. He felt different, so different that he had almost forgotten about meeting with that strange woman the day before. He did feel empty, as if a great burden had been lifted. Certain memories since before finding the good in himself were still faded and fuzzy, just the way he wanted it to stay. Even so... he did remember promising master Jamie that he would live with his mistakes, and live on for the person he was. He had made a terrible mistake. Surely there was a way to undo what had been done?! He rushed to the door, before coming to a hault. He had no clue about how to find that woman, or that organization. He was done.

"Damn it!" In a fit of rage he turned around and flipped the chair in his room. "Fist of the light god!" he slammed his hand into the table, breaking it down the middle. He stopped instantly afterwards and looked at his hand. It was bleeding, and wasn't surrounded by light god slayer magic. "what?" He muttered to himself. "Below of the light god!" He roared out of the window. "Still nothing." He was panicking. "Cleaving palm of the light god!!! Blinding hook of the light god!!!" He panted in fear. His god slayer magic was gone. He got onto his hands and knees and prayed. He begged to wake up from this nightmare. "Regulus!" His fist sparked to life, and glowed with silvers flames. He cancelled the magic and thought on it for a while. Could it be? He was infused with a god slayer lacrima before leaving the church. Could that woman have taken that ability from him? What else could she have taken from his powers and memories? He dismissed it. He did hope he wouldn't have to fight anymore. He could fix this after the games. Just in case, he would have to tell someone.

He first knocked for Sasha, before it became apparent that she was downstairs. He found her, dragging her back to her room without one word of explanation or even a hello. He apologised for his behaviour the day before, before explaning what he had discovered this morning. He did not tell her about the experiment he had undergone, only that he had missing magic... "I'm going to have to rely on my holy angelic magic for the rest of the games." he stated.

Kaitlyn DeRoe | Secluded park in Crocus
@Zarkun

Well, doing something or nothing still lead to their own consequences. But at least you have a way to sense when some conflict is coming and prepare for it. Maybe it's not just a sense but magic." Kaitlyn giggled at the thought of that. But it did remind her of somethings that Dru told her about. "While I've been training with Dru, he taught me more than just magic and fighting. Not everything we do goes according to plan and ends successfully. If you're afraid of being defeated, than that's okay, we learn from our losses. Look at the Council as an example. Your guild defeated the Magic Council, but the Council is still around and standing with new members. Although their reputation isn't doing so good since that past event. They're still around to try and make things right again. What was that phrase? I might of lost the battle, but not the war. Hmm, but if you lost the war, you could always try fighting I suppose. So I guess what I'm trying to say is don't lose your fighting spirit. But it's not exactly easy to fight if you're a simply spirit. You know what, forget the phrases and don't stop believing in yourself."

Wait, was that a phrase?

Kaitlyn happily tried changing from a grim topic to a good one in hopes of making Damian feel better. "If you don't mind me asking. What's this?" Magically, Durandal appeared in her hands as she presented it to Damian. "I haven't seen or felt a material like this before."

Damian Gerard|Secluded Park in Crocus

Damian took another drink, thinking over what she'd said. He wasn't here because he was afraid of loosing, that was something that every fighter, be they mage or soldier, knew would become an eventuality if they kept fighting long enough. No, he was here because he knew that war wasn't a place for a non-lethal philosophy, much as anyone would want it to be. When she brought up Durandal, he took a moment to retrieve it from her and draw it from it's sheath, letting the light shine off the metal. However, if she looked close enough, she would notice the edge wasn't metal, but almost like bone, and it seemed surprisingly sharp if it was. "This is Durandal, the Dragon Tooth Blade. I got it forged up the coast aways with the help of a black smith who still had some tomes on using magic to forge things. The shaping of the tooth took two days and coating it in a metal that could resist the inherit poison in the tooth about five days of testing and two of actually coating, it's a steel-titanium combination. To shorten the story, it was about a week long process. And I got the tooth from the dragon who raised a member of our guild, Zero."

Stepping back, he does a couple of test swings, the wind from the strikes flattening the grass around him before he came up into a defensive stance. "The dragon's name was Hemlock, the Poison Dragon. Some rogue Rune Knights had a mind control weapon of some kind, used him to terrorize the village. We were able to best the knights, but the last one managed to send Hemlock on a rampage. We...had to kill him. he used his time to say good bye and gift some things to those who had saved him." Spinning the sword, he slices four times around himself and four purple half moons appear and go out a short distance before vanishing, leaving Damian frowning slightly. "Guess that attempt to make the mood lighter back fired, eh? In any case, I'm fine. Just out here to make sure I'm not rusty without worrying Jamie any. How are you this fine morning?"

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Hotel

When Jackie started to sit up, Jack's reassuring hands gently laid her back down and he smiled softly. "Can't move too much yet, my dear. Your bones have only just finishing sealing their cracks." Walking over to a table in the room, he pours her some water and comes back, offering her the cup. "Here, hydrate."

@joshua tamashii
Jamie stood there, and felt her resolve rise. "shut up, Joshua. To not presume that because I do not demand respect that you can speak to me like this. I am still your guild master. Do not presume to judge a situation when you do not know everything. Life goes on? Yes it does, but do not say that to me when you have not lost seven parts of yourself. Do not presume to talk to me like you are. Perhaps I need to be firmer with you all, if this is the way you believe you can talk to me.

Perhaps I wish to spare you all from some things, do you think of that? It's nothing against the guild, there are some things that a guild master does not have to share with their members, and some things lately I believe I do not have to share.

You are over stepping a line, Joshua. Be careful how far you step over. If you a seeking a fight, there are plenty who will soar with you, but as I have made it clear before, I am not one of them as I will not use my magic on a member in a battle"
with that, Jamie turned on her heel, and marched up the stairs.

carrie
@oblivion666
Zephyr would find the door slammed shut before he could leave, a bolt of lightning slashing it close, and leaving a scorch mark on it. Carrie couldn't particularly care.

"I am well aware of what happened, so do not treat me like an invalid, when obviously I was aware of what happened or I would have screamed at having a strange man approach me with food who is clearly not hotel staff.

Will you pull whatever stiff object has crawled it's way up your butt? I'd really hate I have to pull it out and beat you with it"
the mousy looking woman did not look anything if the sort as she stood there, hands by her sides, flat but no less threatening them a curled fist.

Her eyes almost sparked with the lightening that was her magic, clearly angry now.

penny
@CirusArvennicus@Lunarlors34
Penny frowned slightly, "or perhaps she figured it wasn't worth the trouble of bringing down our wrath once more?" she said, "we should look into it. I'll see what Master Jamie says. I don't think we should just go...investigating, with the way things are, we could probably make more trouble" she glanced over at the sound of footsteps, seeing Jasmine "morning, Jasmine. Are you okay?"

sasha
@yipeeXD
Sasha tolerated being dragged along by Lazarus, and listened as he spoke. While it would be easier to simply let it go at that, Sasha couldn't. "I can't help you if you don't tell me everything, Lazarus. You don't just lose magic overnight" she said, in an almost sad tone. She watched Lazarus, wondering if she should have followed him yesterday. "I'm not stupid. I know something happened yesterday, Lazarus"
