Jasmine
Cody

@Caits
Jasmine turned when she heard Penny's voice and nodded.
"Ah yes, I do. Thank you." Jasmine replied with a small smile. She wandered over and glanced at Trinity.
"A-Am I interrupting something?" Jasmine asked as she glanced from wizard to the other. She didn't want to interrupt in guilds business. That was when she heard a loud crashing noise and turned over to see that Cody had crashed into a table.

Cody had been running around in an attempt to find Jasmine and had finally caught a glance of her going into the dining room, be as he went to slow down he slipped and slide straight into the dining room and crashed into an empty table.
"Ow..." Cody mumbled painfully. As one would guess that hurt.

Trinity Stratos

"Well, she spoke to me, as well, was the thing. They weren't being honest with her, she was questioning what she had been told. I don't know what they told her, but she had the impression that I belonged with them." Trinity shook her head. "I told her I did not, and she let me go." The footsteps attracted her attention, in addition to Penny's. "Oh, hello." The bard again shook her head. "Don't worry about it. I'm Trinity. What's your name?"

And then a boy ran and fell on his face. "You should be more careful."

"Make me. I don't bow to you like most people here. I bow to no one. I follow my own path. You can tell me to do something all you want, but whether I do it or not is up to me. Also, you losing seven parts of yourself? Congra-fucking-lations. You lost seven people. A lot of people have lost that many and then some. Get over yourself. Your a child playing with the world and thinking your at the center of it. Guess what, sooner or later the world is going to kick you off, and it aint gonna be gentle. So stuff it and get your head out of your ass." Joshua shot back before walking away

Lucus Griffonbane

"I have no right to begin dating you again. That is entirely up to you." Lucus said. "Though, I would be honored if you would be willing to give me a second chance and I would try my hardest to make both you and Elyse very happy."

Jack, the Maiden of the Mist

@Zarkun

Jackie looked annoyed as Jack pushed her back down and then even more annoyed as he told her to drink. Thankfully she had magic and had a means to talk to him. So she had some mist form what she wanted to know from him, to avoid moving as much as possible.
First you tell me to stay still, then you tell me to drink, which requires movement. Well, which is it?

As she would slam the door in his face he would sigh and turn around as she began lecturing him to which he rubbed his face annoyingly at what she was saying. "Oh gee yesterday I'm annoying this, childish that, a pain in the ass this, and now now I'm the bad guy over that. Maybe if someone showed more emotion that anger and stubbornness. I might think that I don't know.... Oh yeah! You are joking! Yet no, no. I'm sorry, its just once again my fault. Yet really? You would have screamed for help? Wow that's a first that I've seen, so far all I've seen is you trying to do everything your own way. Really glad you are embracing the help though. Also if you are going to threaten me for being sick of your bullshit attitude, then clearly you don't know who you are trying to threaten. Yet again I apologize Miss Carrie." Zephyr said before walking back over to the chair and sitting in it, because hes nice enough to let Carrie yell at him some more.

Argus Leandros

Argus graciously accepted the meal, eating slowly and doing his best to keep anything from coming back up. He felt like hell for a bit, but gradually felt a little better after getting some food in him. His head still hurt like a bitch, but at least he could focus on who was around him now. Though when he realized he was around the two people who he'd made the worst impression on, a slight groan did escape him. As he silently lamented his current company, he suddenly remembered something about yesterday, turning to Ike slowly so as not to exasperate his hangover.

"Hey Ike, remember the thing I gave you yesterday . . . I'll be taking that back, cause in all honesty that person certainly doesn't want to have anything to do with me right now. Kinda got into another fight with her while you were gone."

Angelo sighed once he finished his breakfast and knew that he still needed to find someone to pair up with. Angelo couldn't be alone today until he could get everything with Jack sorted out. He really did want to apologize for causing such harm when he didn't mean to. However at the moment Angelo also needed to go back to the library and learn more about what his powers could do on a microscopic level. Once he was sure that Mark had finished eating his bread Angelo put him back in his shirt pocket and left the hotel looking for someone to join him to the library he decided to go to the merchant stands since it wasn't far from the hotel and if need be Angelo would be able to make a fast retreat back to the hotel so any claims that he provoked a battle would be null and void. Thankfully around that stand Angelo was able to find Amaya and she didn't look like she was busy at the moment so Angelo went over and gently tapped her shoulder to get her attention "Hey Amaya do you think you could join me? Master Jamie doesn't want me walking around by myself so I need someone to join me as I go to the library, are you doing anything important?"

Angel Ferrara

"Nnungh."

For someone so keyed into the very nature of survival, and how flexible your biological schedule had to be in case of a surprise attack from some vicious monster in a forest thicket, Angel Ferrara could well have been the worst morning person he knew. Barely audible, hair kinky, hardly able to even muster the energy to smile. Even poor Kaia tended to crawl out of bed less bleary eyed than him.

Hence?

"Nuuuuuuuuuuuuungh."

Valiantly, Angel sat up in bed and pushed the covers down to his waist. Raising his right arm and holding the inside of his bicep against his face to muffle a yawn, the androgynous chef put his left fist against the small of his back and arced around it, feeling a few dull pops in his spine with a soft moan. Sleepily, he reached up to ruffle his hair with both hands...and without support, collapsed back against the mattress, first reservoir of energy for the day spent.

"Kaia. Hey Kaia." Another yawn, as Angel turned his head to the other bed in the room, where his traveling companion may or may not have been awake to hear him. "I'm gonna...motivate. And see if I can do some hunting for the job board. Might get lucky."

If she wasn't able to hear him, he might just go anyway. But he didn't want to leave her blind and alone in the room...especially not without food...

But he didn't want to wake her up, either. It was important that she got her rest if they meant to travel again soon. Damn it. So often his top priority - the comfort of his friend - ended up clashing against itself when there were two potentially comfortable options, and she wasn't able to tell him which she preferred. It all boiled down to his guesswork.

And girls were much more stupefying when they didn't think Angel was one of them.

I think I'll motivate.

He sighed. Lying to Sasha was horrible, but he had to. For the time being. "Fine..." He looked down. "I can't tell you." He said simply. It was true, he couldn't tell her, because he didn't really know what he had done either. Because he had had memories faded, he would have no need to go and get his memories faded in the first place. It was a paradox, although he was aware that he had undergone the experiment. It were just as though certain memories were missing. "I got some help... And now I feel better." He sighed. "I'll ask the master after the games about my slayer magic... But for now, I will manage." He would get his god slayer magic back, or everything up to this stage would've been pointless.

Ike Riven

Ike would shake his head at Gabriel's stubbornness before glaring at Argus as he asked for the bag back. Ike would reach into his pocket and pull out the bag and would hand it off to him. "Doesn't matter to me. Really didn't give me much to go off of anyway. Also might want to not do that whole attacking people you want to make peace with. Tends to be kind of stupid." Ike stated before taking a bite of the food and would give Gabriel a thumbs up before noticing almost everyone that joined so far being somewhat wasted. Well guess that was one bright side in not being in the partying mood. Yet that reminded him of something. "Hey Gabriel save some food for Isla, even if shes a little shit. She still deserves to eat."

Argus Leandros

"Hey, in my defense, I was in a shit mood and she struck at me first. Ended up hitting that one new girl with the fire powers instead though, which resulted in them fighting and my attempted retreat. Unfortunately, she didn't let me do that, so I decided to fight her. After that, things just sorta . . . escalated rather quickly and that . . . was mostly my fault." Argus' tone went from indignant and offended to ever so slightly embarrassed as he went overhis actions from the other day, tossing the bag lightly back and forth between his hands. "Still need to apologize, twice over now, but that'll have to wait until another time. *sigh* I hate how much I rely on that damn Slayer magic, cause it's so fuckin' hard to control some times."

With that, Argus requiped the bag away for another time, finally feeling like he could walk on his own two feet for a bit. Getting up slowly but surely, he gave the bowl back to Gaberial before going back to his seat and just taking a moment to relax. At the mention of Isla, Argus felt a little guilty for leaving her in the cage, but she had seemed upset with him, and beyond that, he was on thin ice as it was, so if he was told to come to the meeting, he was going to the meeting. He was still a bit unnerved by some of what Joakim had alluded to the other day, and it was keeping him a bit in edge, though he figured that it'd pass in time.

"So, you guys have any interesting stories to tell about the guild or the people in it. Maybe something about the Guild Master?" He probed ever so slightly, curious to see what kind of guild he'd been essentially bound to for all his life. You know, the more I think about that, the angrier I get about it. I understand the reasoning behind the decision, but . . . I spent years trying to get out of chains, had 5 years of freedom,,and am now essentially bound again. Fuck, I'm probably overthinking this, but it's starting to pick at me.

Cyare Staunton: Rising, Not-So-Much-Shining

The proper time to rise was before the sun, and warm up at the same rate. Environment dictated how best to warm up, generally. A forest was wonderful for sword drills, a mountain pass was excellent for a run, so on and so forth. Unfortunately an inn was good for nothing. She hated wasting the money, but city guards generally frowned on people sleeping on the streets. So she had to shell out for a room (just one; Rei got to pay for his own), and more irritatingly, the challenge in her morning exercise. Without much space, she had to make do with sit-ups, push-ups, and jumping jacks. The latter she did twice, once at the beginning and now at the end.

The warmup was more for her own state of mind than the exercise. The exercise was excellent, of course, but it was how she woke up for the day. Without it she felt sluggish, like she hadn't really gotten out of bed. Sword drills were usually good for her state of mind, but she didn't have anywhere with both the quiet and the space she wanted. By the time the sun had truly risen she was done for the morning, and ready to face the rest of the day. Not that Rei was awake yet. She had time.

Which was why she had her complimentary robe and towel in hand, headed for the hot tub attached to the inn. A shower made her clean, but heat promised to be too excellent to pass up. She was aware, albeit relatively dimly, of a much more groggy girl stepping out into the hallway, but she didn't pay much attention. She wanted to be ready when Rei hauled his ass out of bed.

There was work to do.

Angel Ferrara

After leaving a note for Kaia on the only place she'd know to look for it - resting on her forehead - Angel trudged out of the room slowly. A blonde girl who looked to be a few years older than Kaia, maybe his own age, passed right by his room carrying a towel and robe, and Angel belatedly realized that they hadn't sprung for a room in the inn with an adjoining shower. They would need every spare coin to travel as long as possible before stopping again. But if there was a communal tub somewhere...

Angel had never been modest, and had some idea of relatively how attractive he was to people when they thought he was a girl, but something like a hot tub would pretty much dispel that illusion as soon as he decided to try and remove so much as a layer. Too many tokens from his childhood in the forest dotted his shoulders, chest, and back. It was definitely better than the alternative, and Kaia's blindness meant it almost never came up, but he could still imagine how disconcerting it would be to share a hot tub with someone who looked as though they'd just come back from a war. So he hesitated for a fleeting second or two before finally tugging at his bangs nervously and following the young woman to wherever she was headed.

Probably could've been a good idea to get my own lay of the land last night...

A lesson for the next town.

Amaya was leaned over a table examining some of the objects before she let out a gasp taken by surprise from Angelo suddenly speaking to her. She stood up turning to him letting her usual smile play on her face " I never have anything planned or important to do here since I am not one of those actually in the games. I heard and saw what happened and I would be one of thoses that say you WAT OVERDID IT with the fight but I was raised in a passive environment before my mother took me in. I also love libraries and I can maybe help you learn to control your self when fight. Angelo sighed not really sure how to take everything she said. What he knew was that she was on board for joining him in the library so he wasn't going to question it as she said for him to lead the way. Angelo nodded a little and started to lead her towards the library "Actually I already thought up a new trick to use in the future but I need to test it first on someone or something else cause doing It wrong could cause me to go blind. I am trying to look through medical books to see how I can use my energy like a surgical knife with pinpoint precision" Angelo explained to her as they soon found the library. Angelo went to the spot he was before and took out the medical books he put back and put them on the table once more to start reading....

Kaia Iona

"Hffffffffffnnnnnnnnng"

The sound of an indignant, half-awake, bed-headed Kaia emanated from the only occupied bed in the room.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaangel?" Kaia, for lack of a better word, flopped over to her stomach in what looked to be an attempt at literally rolling out of bed. It was then that the existence of the piece of paper that had been lightly placed over her face became known to her, and she batted it away from underneath her face with a satisfied harumph.

"Angeel that's not funny."

After a moment of silence conspicuously lacking a heartfelt multiple-attempt apology, Kaia frowned into her pillow. He must've waken up before her, which was... surprising, seeing as most mornings amounted to her attempted to drag Angel out from his blanket fortress to commandeer his working eyesight for her own use. It dawned on her that he had left her a note. The gesture was undeniably sweet, yet very, very Angel.

He would figure it out someday.

Hopefully.

With a Herculean effort, Kaia pushed herself up from the mattress and swung her legs over the side, dragging the blankets with her in an attempt to keep the comfort there for a little while longer. It was through sheer force of will alone that she managed to stand upright, take two steps forward in the unfamiliar room, and promptly dropping forward to land on the other unoccupied bed in the room, feet futilely swinging in the air.

"Hmmmmmpphhhhhhhhh."

Whoever made morning a thing was an evil, evil person.

Fleo Plector – the Pinnacle

Among all those who receded into the land of fancy at night, drifting through the veil of sleep to any number of incredible worlds, Fleo could boast a singular blessing. Seldom if ever did her imagination cruelly trap her consciousness within a realm of nightmares, for she lived with no regrets. Instead, her mind conjured up for her azure skies to soar through, sunset lakes to swim, mountains to climb, and forest to explore. Fantastical creatures, bizarre but by no standard asinine or ridiculous, infested her dreams. More remarkable than even the wildest settings or strangest beasts, however, were Fleo’s arms and legs, for in her dreams they were whole. Filled with boundless energy, she would traverse the fleeting worlds in joy, yet rarely hate to wake up. As nice as dreams were, only the waking world was true, and Fleo meant to enjoy it just as much.

Such immaculate wonder could only occupy her, however, if her mind permitted her to sleep. For the first time in a long time Fleo suffered a restless night. In the dead of morning, she rose from her bed, leaving caked dust and her bandages behind, and the window open. Quietly, she made her way out of the hotel, dressed only in her underclothes, shorts, and a tank top. Her fake limbs could clearly be seen, if only someone stood by to see. Standing beside the door, Fleo rose in silence on an escalating pillar of gathered dust, and after a few moments she stepped onto the room. Once at its center, she recalled her dust and rose higher still, ascending straight upward a hundred feet, two hundred, three. Only when the purest of breezes ruffled her hair did she halt the construction of her dusty monolith. Afraid but undeterred by the height, she composed herself carefully. With the wave of a hand, the dust formed into the shape of a bed, and she rested herself upon it. Thoughts about her guild troubled her, but up here, she could feel only sweet air and the caress of moonlight. She sighed, like someone trained to hold in her stomach relaxed, and the dust that constituted her limbs fell apart. Only fleshy stubs existed where her arms and legs should be, serving as a grim reminder of that trying time, but nevertheless it felt alright to be her true self away from any prying eyes. Though she did not smile, Fleo felt at peace, and when sleep finally took her, she dreamed.

The next morning, sounds drifting up from below awoke her. Instantly, her limbs reformed from dust, and she sat upright. From a bird’s-eye view, the city appeared uniquely beautiful, but she could not focus on it enough to forget her troubles. Staring at her fingers of dust, she flexed them, and experimentally urged her hand to change shape. Spurred on by her unspoken desire, her entire arms altered shape into dusty wings. Fleo, delighted, rose to her feet and looked out over the city. The next moment, she leaped down. Using her wings to glide, she descended at a brisk pace until she could swoop cheekily in through her window. Feeling lively, she snapped her fingers, and her bandages flew to encircle her limbs. Once the façade lived once again, she made her way downstairs.

The excitement of yesterday meant that Joakim slept soundly indeed. Few men slept more deeply than soldiers, not just because of exhaustion and the paucity of sleep available, but also because of a clear conscience. In war, one could not simply choose to believe in a cause. One had to. Nevertheless, Joakim did not sleep especially late, despite the festival atmosphere of the Grand Magic Games and the additional chance at respite such times for celebration afforded. He cleaned himself up, neatly dressing and grooming himself, not to mention refreshing the Arctic Aura that protected him from Fiore’s sweltering heat, before heading at a leisurely pace for the food center.

Gabriel’s choice to cook did not surprise him, and with only a nod of thanks the northerner accepted his food and dug in. He said nothing while eating, but to guess he heard nothing would have been to shoot way off the mark. Joakim listened with a discreet intention to Ike’s advice to Gabriel, and to Argus as he brought up Isla. The memory of yesterday’s fight, which the demon next mentioned, still lay heavily on his mind, truncated only by the disturbing events with Argus soonafter. Not long before the northerner expected to finish eating, his red-eyed ally requested a story of some kind, though a glance at him suggested an annoyed unhappiness on the demon’s part, giving the attempt at conversation a hollow-feeling ring. Nevertheless, Joakim deigned to oblige him.

”General Sanders, you say? Well, you will never see him display his magic. Many of us still do not really understand what he does. He works subtly. The closest I have ever seen was when I was once selected to run back from the front lines to base to give a mid-battle report. I entered the General’s tent, and I got this feeling. It was like a pressure, very intense, and I feel like something important has changed or is changing, and I cannot figure out what. I see Sanders sitting in a little chair behind a fold-out table, and on the table is a chessboard like I’ve never seen. It has all sorts of extra parts, and too many figures. I thought, ‘the weird feeling is coming from that chessboard’, but I cannot say for sure. The only thing I can say for sure is that we won that fight. Thousand Spears didn’t know what hit them. When it matters, Frenzy Plant doesn’t lose.” Any knowledgeable soldiers present might recognize Thousand Spears as a fellow light guild, one that had in fact applied for the Games but failed to qualify.

Penny
@CirusArvennicus@Lunarlors34
Penny looked over at the commotion, narrowing her eyes slightly, until she saw te guild mark. She sighed, wondering just how many people had joined the last few days. "At this point, I think we will always be interrupting something, so don't worry about it. I'll talk with Master Jamie, during the games. You best be getting ready, Trinity" She said, going over and nudging Cody, "I think you did more damage to the table then the table did to you, up you get"

Master Jamie
@Joshua Tamashii
"Then why go into a guild, Joshua, if you just want to be lord of everything, and be by yourself?" Jamie called after Joshua, "Why join a family, if you just want to be an arse? Imagine having those you lost ripped out of your own soul. Its a million times worse." her voice was full of anger, but she still walked away. If all Joshua wanted was a fight, he could go find one somewhere else.

She almost vibrated with anger, and stood outside the door to her rooms, trying to calm herself.

Eventually though she just went in, calling out, "Amelia? I want to talk with you"

Sasha
@YipeeXD
"Can't? Or won't?" There was, to Sasha's mind, a big difference. "I'm not stupid, Lazarus. You did something yesterday. And I don't think it's just your god slayer magic that's missing, am I right?" It was clear that there was something greater going on here, she sighed softly. "Quick fixes are always too good to be true, because in the end they end up coming around and making things worse. Lazarus, do you realise that your every move is pretty much watched? That anything that happens could be the trail the Queen wants to hold over your head? What if you've done the wrong thing, and...I can't lose you" her voice trembled slightly

Gabriel
@lugubrious@oblivion666
Gabriel accepted the bowl back from Argus, chucking it into a bucket of water. The water splashed slightly, and the bowl sank. Gabriel left the ladel in the pot, bowls nearby so people could serve themselves, and so he could eat. He stayed silent as Joakim spoke. "He commands the battlefield with his magic" Gabriel said softly, simply. "I imagine its kind of similar to summoning magic. The piece moves were he wants it, either appearing there or moving from where it was" It was probably more complicated then that, but Gabriel imagined that was the gist of it. The basics. "Chess is like a battle, after all, right? So...it isn't that great a step to having someone being able to control a battlefield"

Carrie
"The scream would have been to distract you. The punch to the face would have been the attack" Carrie responded, "I know exactly who I am threatening, Zephyr Hardt, Dragon Fang Member, mechanical take over user, participant in the games, which I think is a load of crap anyway, you can get lucky in your battles, and how does that prove which guild is the strongest? But that's a tangent I'm not going down. You like to think you are a joker, that you hate being serious, that you are just doing what everyone would do, but very few do. You're gallant, and that word terrifies you because that means you are deeper then you thought. You're willing to put up with quite a lot, and still not throw a punch. So yes, I do know who I am threatening, Zephyr. Shove your apology, because I don't want it. Perhaps its you who doesn't know who they are dealing with" her tone of voice started off factual, before slipping into a more personal note, "I live for control, and nothing will change o-"

There was a knock on the door, and Michael, noticing the blackened circle from the lighting was worried enough to disregard privacy, and open the door. "Are you...am I interrupting something?"

***

All throughout the city, the guilds would hear "Ten minute warning, the games will being shortly for the day!'

Jasmine Cody

@Caits
Cody glanced up Penny speechless. Great now he was getting in trouble with an s-class wizard. Cody had memorised a list of current guild members, not including new recruits like himself, so he knew the majority of their members by face alone.
This was Penny Hoff, one of the three s-class wizards of Phoenix Wing.
"Ah...ummm....sorry for the mess." Cody mumbled as he glanced downwards before Jasmine walked over.
"Cody?" Jasmine asked, her head cocked to the side as she tried to get a better look at the wizard. Cody looked up when he heard his name and sighed in relief.
"Jasmine, where have you been? I've been looking all over." Cody said, the relief evident in his voice. He was still glancing nervously at Penny in case she got angry with him.

Ike Riven

When Joakim would join them he would just offer them a nod before Argus wanted to hear about stories about the guild or guild master. Joakim would start saying that all he knew was something was changing when he went to deliver a mid battle report. Gabriel would offer his insight to which Ike would shake his head. "A good thought but I disagree. He feels like someone who gives chances even if they are small. Controlling an entire battlefield is far from giving someone a chance. Besides Joakim said the chess board felt off right? He never said the battle felt off. I say whatever magic he has he can only apply to one thing at a time. Maybe a lost magic." Ike said before hearing the call for the games starting. "As for any stories though. I can only mention my initiation, after that I went with the guild to the games, then you know what happened from there."

@Caits
Zephyr Hardt

Zephyr would stand there in silence as she went off on him about who he was and why he did things. It made him frown but he couldn't really disagree with what she was saying either. She would have continued but Mikey would open the door to which Zephyr would waste no time in walking past Mikey and giving him a smile. "Nah you're fine Mikey. Just a discussion is all, anyway Carrie It was nice to meet you but I really have to get going for the games. Shower is till available if you need it." The announcement about the games would go off which made Zephyr shrug. "See? I have to get going, never know if I'm going to participate or not. Mikey you can help Carrie out for me right buddy?" Zephyr asked him but switched into his Engine takeover and didn't hesitate in taking off, loud noise waking up everyone or not.
