@Gentlemanvaultboy

"Are you.... offering me a job?" Darquesse blinked. This was certainly new. She'd killed a lot of people (a LOT of people), and none of them had ever decided to offer her a job. Especially a job in what appeared to be a Star Wars-esque galactic empire of sorts. The second most stunning part of this entire situation is that the idea of this job was sounding kind of enticing. She didn't really need a mech, of course, but despite this she really wanted one. She'd always loved the shiny toys. "You know, I kind of like you. But I don't work for anyone. I just happened to see things exploding, and figured it'd be fun to join in." Darquesse explained her situation, shrugging as if being transported into an alternate reality was an everyday occurrence for her. It wasn't, of course. But he didn't need to know that.

"So, let's say I accept this job. I get to have a mech, and all the cool toys I want. And judging from the situation..." Darquesse waved a hand at the mass battle occurring not too far from where the two stood "you want me to go and punch all of those guys, right? Yeah, I can do that." She chuckled, as she realized this was her first job offer. In her mundane life she'd always expected to end up working at McDonalds. Who knew she'd be soliciting for fighting space battles? This day was getting more and more interesting. "The name's Darquesse. Some people call me the Worldbreaker, but I like to think we're on a first-name basis. So I'm thinking ima go punch all those folks, and you tell your people to start building me that mech, yeah? Make sure it's black. I like black. Fits with the theme, you know?"

Eldritch IV, RoC Base - Penny to the Rescue!

@Frengo@Archmage MC@FacePunch@Absolis@dirty slime

Infinite Blue

Penny beamed at the funny looking man when she'd greet her back, though instead of introducing himself, he exposed hos important a monster's butthole was. Intrigued but also grossed out, Penny gulped at the thought of doing what he literally said instead of seeing eye to eye. Right now this whole thing was seeming a lot less fun with the smell of poop lingering in her mind as it seemed to be the Resistance's tactics according to the hardcore subordinate that jumped into the battlefield. Sticking her tongue out at the idea of doing such icky things, Penny barely noticed the man exit into the battlefield to take down all these creepy fellows that were attacking them.

Peering out of the massive opening in the ship, the android attempted to grab a glimpse of such a nasty practice. However the pilot of the ship didn't seem too pleased that not all troops had departed, causing little Penny to get a severe scolding from the front. She didn't take it the way she should have though for she'd just bow with a Chinese saluting gesture before casually walking out of the vehicle.

"Wow! They all look so cool!"

Penny was somewhat mesmerized by the gargantuan variety of beings the Reign of Chaos but also the Resistance had at their disposal. Some were ugly, some were prettier and some were just very creepy! She didn't falter, comparing this more to a video game than anything else. Hey, she's a sheltered person, even in this setting as she's seen only a few missions and they often involved one or two powerful entities to stop.

Laser blasts from the left, crazy demon monsters running over people on the right, this was all getting a little too spooky for our little metallic friend. Though she'd suddenly cover her mouth upon seeing her new buddy, whom she didn't get to know the name of, getting hit in the battlefield, only to immediately counter anything in his way.

Upon looking farther away, ducking when the occasional projectile was sent her direction, she'd spot Lt. Mustang. Now she knew this guy, he was pretty popular among the ladies, whether positively or negatively. There were actually so many people around that her robot mind had trouble following despite it being designed to be more efficient than a human's brain. Her humanity prevailed over those function as she wasn't very used to such battlefields. Penny needed a little guidance, and she'd get just that when her integrated commlink would resonate with the voice of a young boy.

"Ten seconds?! Make that Five! Sorry Mister sir! I'm going to kick some bad guy butt!"

She'd wail at Doomguy who was making his way to the base anyway. She didn't feel so bad about herself if that was the case! She'd quickly release a couple of swords out of her backpack and have them strapped on her legs before she'd fling herself high into the air with her robot strength and employ the blades' laser functions to serve as jets. She'd move fast, really fast, appearing like a beam of light in the air, crashing down like a meteor into the base that was already experiencing a lot of damage from the inside.

Crashing down through their now unprotected roof, Penny would find herself in a bizarre lounge room where a few unprepared lackeys were buckling up for what was to come. Penny waved.

"Salutations! I'm Penny and you guys sure look like nice fellows! *HIC*"

She'd cover her mouth, realizing that she obviously lied about them looking like nice fellows. The minions all seemed rather confused as to what some brat was doing here. The little android didn't manifest any intent to attack, strangely enough, but as one got close, the unprepared group of masked individuals would all receive a few powerful kicks and punchs before being left in a pile, unconscious. By then, Penny would have received an S.O.S call from the same young man from before. Feeling as though he could either be a really dreamy boy or an awesome buddy forever in her exaggerated concept of the friendzone, Penny was going to come to the rescue!

Looking at the flow, she'd analyze the source of the distress call before randomly hoping a meter into the air before delivering a powerful stomp to the ground. Creating a massive hole to the foundation, she'd end up falling into the mess hall, coincidentally right next to Kid Flash behind the table. He wouldn't be spare by the immense amount of dust falling from the shattered ceiling.

"Salutations friend! I'm Penny! And you are?!"

She'd introduce herself before recovering from her stomping position and standing upright. The bot would now be able to peer over the pretty messed up table serving as defense and noticed the green haired fellow that ordered the whole place to be locked down, except of course for the balls and ceilings. Everyone forgets about those. Darn useless when the external defenses are down too.

"Oh is this your buddy?"

And then she noticed the chains.

"Are these magic chains? Oh, oh! Do you use them for fighting?! Be careful, there are evil Reign of Chaos guys around!"

She asked naively, though her overly curious voice would easily overshadow the unnerving feeling emitted from Hazama's 'eloquence'. And then, the whole base shook. Looking around, Penny didn't quite understand what was going on. Somewhat clueless, she'd look at Kid flash, then Hazama before shrugging.

Standing back up, Roy surveyed the battlefield in anticipation of the strike he called in. But upon seeing the damage his grenade toss had done, he was growing confident, and even with Doom Guy heading for the fortress, which he cracked open with a single shot, it was time to begin pushing.

"Cancel Foxtrot Support, repeat cancel the support strike for Foxtrot." Roy grinned as he talked into the radio. "Forward, get to opening!" He ordered, pointing to the hole Doom was entering.

Roy climbed over the barrier he raised, tapping a healing mine on the way over. The healing energies wrapped around his body, recharging his body, mending the aches and scrapes. Targeting one of the mages, the puppet mage, Mustang would make it pay for the mistake of not minding its surroundings. Mustang solely targeted it as a flurry of clicks crack through the air, charged with the power of alchemy. As the fireballs Mustang created arc toward the puppet, he takes further notice of the prone(?) figure of the mage-knight. The Knight's armour has apparent damage, which suggests either he's a lot tougher than expected and took a direct hit or was knocked over by the blast, which damaged the armour. Suspecting it was the first of those options, Roy snapped his finger a few times, creating a few explosions near the Knight, hoping to keep him pinned until his unit reached the opening. He knew that as soon as his unit reached the opening that Doom created, they would provide cover fire for him. He would then blast the opening once Foxtrot was through and clear, hopefully sealing it well enough that it would take some time for the Licht group mages to clear the rubble and follow. Roy's movements are very methodical. Raising barriers and doing his best to keep the enemy pinned while advancing toward his target.

Perhaps to the swordsmans dismay, there was no surprise to be found within Kyrie Lennis. Not as the shield maintained form, and not as the little 'angel' leapt away. There was only expectation. Calculation. Kyrie, though young was a strategist that even the upper echelons of the Earth-Sphere would consult for input on various stratagems. So he was more than prepared for the little butterfly to flutter away upon the realization that this pilot was no standard-company, undertrained patriot just eager for glory. He was perhaps the greatest pilot of the entire Resistance, and he was owed no greater machine than the Freedom.

Just as the Fangs released their payloads, Kyrie could have sworn he saw the creatures mouth motion an utterance before he, or at least so he thought, 'vanished'. In reality, the digi-angel had only increased its relative speed to Kyrie by no small number, but was still well within his vast perceptual pools. The Fangs veered off in odd angles and lateral spirals with a mathematical precision that could give any creature a headache to follow, avoiding the volley of strikes with the sort of dexterity and granular control that can only be achieved by a machine before redocking again for recharging.

He was more than ready when the angel came full circle, diving toward him feet-first like a kangaroo out of Hell. Heaven? Nah, hell. Though he wouldn't let his enemy know that. He left his back turned to him, leaving his rear flank open purposefully to guide it into a false sense of security until the last possible moment. As soon as it seemed the angel's attack would crash into the Freedom(within two feet), a thin M Field would form around him like a caged fence before violently degenerating itself in a massive release of energy and V particles that packed enough force behind it to annhialate an armored tank. With his extrasonic shunts and the absolutely insipid speed at which he shot himself at the Freedom, rapid directional shifting was out of the question, since momentum and inertia are things. Though the assault wasn't finished.

Within the same moment as the formation of the M field, the Freedom veers around 180 degrees at breakneck speeds via the suits various verniers to face the enemy. In a simultaneous action, both shoulder-mounted high-energy positron rifles discharged their stores in a duet of beams whom's combined width could swallow a city block with ease as Kyrie summoned forth a wall of Psi. The wall would not only act as a makeshift defense in the case the cursed angel escaped its prison, but also as a sail with which to ride the waves of concussive force caused by the explosions a good thirty feet or so away from the contact point.

As he lands, Kyrie catches a glimpse of his once-were allies breaking past the enemy line. A smile of reassurance creeps upon either side of his lips as he realizes his success. He was able to successfully hold the enemies attention to give the others a fleeting moment to break through, and by the looks of it he had accomplished just that. Regardless of the outcome of this battle... he started the thought, but shook it from his mind as he rearranged his priorities. He cocked his head back where he was sure there should have been a 'fallen' angel before drawing a V beam sprayer and holding down the trigger to cover his escape as he veered off toward the base.

Kid Flash

@Absolis @Savato @Archmage MC

The seemingly relentless hail of bullets suddenly ceased. Wally risked a peek over the shield he'd erected for himself. There was the man in the suit and fedora again, smiling like a maniac. He was moving slowly forward, like a hunter whom had cornered his prey. Kid Flash gulped. Not the best analogy. The boy contemplated. It wasn't until the green-haired guy insulted Kid's uniform that Wally West chose to step out from behind the cover of the overturned table. He held his hands loose down by his sides, but kept himself ready to move at a moment's notice. Wally ignored the dude's empty threats, but took great offense to the Halloween comment."Uh, it's not a Halloween costume, Mmmkay? It's my uniform. I'm a superhero." He placed his thumb against the lightning bolt on his chest, accidentally shifting out of stealth mode and back into the yellow and red version. "Oops." Kid muttered, pressing it again to reverse the effect. "They call me Kid Flash." Wally introduced himself, a casual smirk plastered on his freckled face. "You've probably heard of me." The RoC soldiers standing behind Hazama glanced at each other and shrugged. Kid Flash frowned. "Sidekick to the Flash? The guy who saved the Multiverse from the Anti-Monitor? Ring any bells?" The reaction, or lack thereof, from the enemy combatants told Wally that his efforts were truly in vain.

"Eesh, what's it take to earn some renown out here?" He muttered, followed by a short sigh.

Kid Flash raised his fists towards Hazama who continued walking forward and spewed some nonsense about the Anti-Christ and Blazblue. It wasn't until the green ring around him turned to chains that Wally realized who he stood before. This was Captain Hazmat. Or..Hazmuna...Or something. Whatever. He was supposedly a big deal among the Resistance soldiers. They were terrified of the guy. He didn't pay them much mind; but Kid knew enough to avoid those chains. So when the snake-hooks came'a flying at the speedster, Wally pushed off his right foot and dodged out of the way. As the chain flew back to Hazmat, a brilliant idea entered Kid's mind. He reached a hand into the satchel and pulled out an explosive, quickly he put it on a timer and tossed it toward the man faster than any normal man could, nearly at the speed of sound.

It was likely that Hazmat would defend himself from the attack. But it was more of a distraction than anything else. The green-haired man was now less likely to notice the trio of explosives he'd attached to the flying chains that Kid Flash had expertly dodged using his incredible speed. Wally pulled the detonator out and was moments away from blowing Hazmat sky high when an android girl stomped her way through the ceiling. "AAAHHHH!" Kid Flash cried out in surprise, dropping the detonator in the process. The entity was quick to introduce itself (herself?) to Wally, who was trying to get oxygen into his lungs after nearly dying of a heart attack.

"H-Hi. Name's Kid Flash." He panted. "No! He's one- of..of the bad-Oooh boy. Bad guys. His name's, like, Captain Hazmat or somethi-" Suddenly another chain wrapped itself around the distracted young hero's throat and rapidly began pulling him toward the enemy forces. "HEEEEELPPPPP!" Kid Flash cried out, desperately motioning toward the detonator on the ground next to Penny. Out of the corner of the panicked and exasperated Wally's eye, he noticed a chicken floating nonchalantly into the room. Another series of explosions, one much louder than any of the rest, rocked the structure.

What the heck was going on here?

Troopers in white plated armour; black visors of the abyss forming an emotionless mass of an unfeeling, remorseless army of an autocratic empire that Doomguy knew little of. Walkers, thirty feet tall, with large heads and a clumsy chicken-like gait. Spherical fighters glided overhead, with hexagonal wings, and unleashed an ear piercing shriek as they passed by.

Behind this disciplined battle force, came a horde of demons, their flesh red and their limbs plentiful; some with gaping jaws that displayed hundreds of razor sharp fangs. They snorted, roared and screeched with blood lust, stomping their feet in anticipation.

There was a moment of bizarre tranquillity as Doomguy approached the host; they studied him, as much as he did them. For who was this green armoured warrior? An army of one? Against so many? A suicidal bid to reach some high level of stupid heroism?

And then he brought up his BFG and discharged it repeatedly.

Explosions tore through the neatly arrayed white plated soldiers, followed by pulsating green lights that signified the dissolution of many organic bodies. What was only moments ago a disciplined force of well trained soldiers, quickly deteriorated into a mass panic. Red lasers fired at Doomguy in their dozens, many falling wide, others glancing him.

Doomguy sprang to life, strafing left, and then right, firing again and again at the largest masses of his enemy. The BFG tore through their ranks, killing dozens upon dozens with seemingly little effort; a walker took a green plasma bolt to the head, dicing it in half. Laser fire continued to fly around him, some of them smashing into his armour, but none of it was enough to stop him.

He continued to run side-ways in a freakish display of agile talent, escaping the worst of their return fire. The ground was a scorched ruin in his wake, where missed shots blasted sand into glass.

A trooper came out from his left, blind siding him with a point blank shot to the face; Doomguy's visor shattered, glass raking his flesh and eyes. In a rage, he reached out and put his knuckle duster through the trooper's own visor, killing them instantly. A brief flash emitted from his recently slain foe, and energy rushed into Doomguy as he absorbed the trooper's soul.

It was a familiar feeling; Euphoria gripped his senses, his muscles bulged, his skin thickened. Lasers slammed into him, seemingly having little affect, and he turned to his foe with a gleeful smile. Berserker rage flowed through him.

Doomguy charged forwards, disregarding his BFG, and leapt into the thickest part of the troopers. He launched his fist into the nearest, sending the man sprawling head over heels several feet in the other direction; knocking half a score of his comrades over in the process. Then, Doomguy turned sharply, gripped another trooper's head, and tore it from their shoulders with little effort.

"RIP AND TEAR!" Doomguy roared out, as his enemy started to back off. "RIP. AND. TEAR."

The next thirty seconds were of blood soaked madness, as Doomguy continued to rip his enemy to pieces with his bare hands. The troopers turned and ran, broken by an enemy they could not understand. A few walkers covered their retreat, firing heavy lasers at Doomguy, and knocking him back.

Weakened by the relentless enemy fire, he stumbled backwards with each blow, until he was forced to admit temporary defeat.

Saving the best for last, Doomguy managed to pull forth his semi-automatic rocket launcher as he strafed aside another barrage of heavy lasers. He responded with a salvo of missiles, that slammed indiscriminately into the walkers and the troopers they were trying to cover. One by one, they collapsed to the savagery of his assault, unable to get a clear shot as he began to run circles around them.

For a moment, it looked as if he'd just taken on a whole army - but then the enemy craft zoomed in, swarms of them, unleashing green lasers and bombs. Doomguy disappeared under the resulting explosions and smoke.

Yzeira Yezia

Eldritch IV - Deep within the RoC Base

"Feh"

Yzeira's pen shifted violently across the surface of his journal's 45th page, splattering black ink across the dimly lit contents. The ground was shaking. Why was it shaking? He'd never record his notes on that insufferable Hazama's abilities at this rate. His journal would sooner become a messy carnival of ink, flooded with nonsensical abstractions that blotted out the valuable information that it held. The masked man gritted his teeth for a moment and followed the walls of his private little room towards the origin of the quakes. Eugh, the resistance was actually able to make their way indoors after all. It wasn't all that surprising. Yzeira knew that these worthless peons weren't to be trusted on the field of battle. Nevertheless, he didn't want to waste him time exterminating a mass of self-indulgent meat sacks, or the metal caskets they adorned to their graves. The rest of the RoC could handle it, he had better things to do. Still, his hand shook with each reverberation that the base suffered. Working in these conditions would be pointless. Perhaps a few minutes of his time would be well invested in removing the filth that wormed its way into the HQ. But therein lied a slight hiccup, where his presence may have roused suspicion within the RoC. If Shinnok knew of his presence there, would that warrant further investigation of his intentions? Yzeira had been notified that this world held little importance in the grand scheme of Nyx's plans, or something along those lines... No, his presence on Eldritch shouldn't appear suspicious. He was there to help of his own free will- if anyone asked, anyways. Truthfully, he stood closer to the higher ranked RoC individuals to study their abilities, especially that arrogant blowhard Shinnok. Apart of Nyx, he'd be the biggest obstacle to deal with. That amulet of his, the magical power he possessed, all of it was too dangerous to be handled with reckless abandon. Bah, Yzeira had found himself thinking in circles again, and immediately cut his train of thought. He stood up from the iron table, pushing his chair back with his legs as he scooped up his journal and tucked it away, inside of his coat. The candle he used to light the room flickered into obscurity, and within moments, he'd left to assist Hazama near the base's center.

The halls rocked unsteadily with each footstep, irritating Yzeira to no end. At first their origins were a mystery, but as he grew closer to where the calamity originated from, Yzeira drew a bigger picture in his mind of what had been going on. What the hell was all of this about, though? A loud android, a boy dressed like a clown, a worthless void elemental, and Hazama? What a quaint little collection of nobodies. Yzeira neared the room slowly, gathering energy in the pit of his stomach, and converting it into an array of floating spheres that began to move throughout his body, before stopping at his ankles, and floating neatly around his feet. 1-2-3, they gathered continuously as he made his way towards the conflict at a slow, casual pace. Within these spheres, he stored excess power to access at a moment's notice if the situation called for emergency action, but individually, they possessed phenomenal destructive power. 5 spheres in total hovered near his feet by the time he reached the door separating him from his ally and the three who threatened to siege their HQ. The ethereal Mage stood hidden behind a wall at the opposite end of the room, and Hazama was on the attack with his... Chains. Perhaps it would bode well to wait for an opportune moment before striking.

Just then, a thought occurred to him, why were the resistance here? To capture a head executive, namely Shinnok. How would the resistance respond if Nyx's second head executive was confirmed on the scene? Yzeira held no pride or value in the title, but the amassing forces that threatened to take this RoC base? Would he put himself in Danger once knowledge of his presence spread? Or could this force a tactical retreat? No, they weren't that cowardly. They were here to do a job, to capture a Head executive. Perhaps allowing himself to be captured in Shinnok's place would be beneficial for him in the long run, albeit somewhat risky. They were here for Shinnok, after all, not Yzeira. Then, another thought popped up, how would Shinnok respond to Yzeira's presence once he learned the chaotic mage had snuck his way into the base? It could've been catastrophic, who knew how anyone would respond. Regardless, there was no good reason to wait. Yzeira rose one hand and placed it on the door, pushing it aside and approaching the scene. He positioned himself far behind Hazama, and scanned the immediate area with his crimson glare.

"Ahem," Yzeira cleared his throat audibly, but didn't put forth much effort to catch Hazama's attention. Several soldiers looked his way, recognizing his presence for only a moment before redirecting their attention towards Kid Flash and Penny Polendina. The RoC soldiers were far more apt than he'd first thought. They didn't possess the power of their superiors, but they knew to aim straight, even when somebody like Yzeira arrived on the scene, not to be distracted by something so irrelevant to their mission. Yzeira did the same, despite having a nearly flawless perception of his surroundings for several yards. Who was to die first?

Smoke filled the room as the bombs went off. Obscuring hazamas view before he could respond to the appearance of the robot. The explosion would be enough to break the chains, but tlby then it was too late. He had misread the chains. One of the chains from the side managed to grab kid flash, and hazama would use this to his advantage.

Out of the smoke, Hazama would appear. Using the chain he pulled himself forward at an incredible speed and delivered a punishing kick to the kids face. Using the momentum he would fling himself back and throw three butterfly knives down.

"Shing!"

Hazama copied the sound of the knives leaving. He would land with his back to the kid, not bothering to see if the knives had hit their mark, or even if they had been blocked by something. Though he would keep ahold of kid flash. He would turn to the girl.

"And who are you supposed to be? Oh, I see, you must be the little damsel in distress, and he must be the hero. Gotta say, thanks for grabbing his attention back there."

Hazamas hat had been blown off by the explosion. His hair looked like he had stuck his finger in a light socket. Hazama would shrug, holding his hands up. Suddenly, his hat would appear back in his hands, and he would set it back on his head. Hazama would give her an overly dramatic pose, obviously mocking her.

"Like he said, I am a bad bad man. And, well, you are sickeningly innocent."

Hazama would send multiple chains towards the girl. He would use one of them to pull himself towards her, again at an incredible speed. When he reached uer, he would attempt to launch her into the air with a kick, augmented by one of the chains, which had further morphed to be mostly energy at this point. If he managed to do so, he would then launch another one at her and pull her down, before enveloping his hand in the now mostly energy chain and unleashing a powerful punch into her. However, if he did not land his first attack, he would jump backwards behind a table that had been upturned by his attacks.

Eldritch IV, RoC Base - Combat Ready!

@Archmage MC@FacePunch@Absolis@tex

For the Glory

A dumbfounded look appeared on Penny's face when Kid Flash made the unsuspecting reveal that Hazama was indeed a bad guy. Her surprise was The Sixth Sense Twist levels, and it would only be amplified with the unfortunate fact that he had been rendered into the status of Hazama's pet with that chain around his neck. But was he telling the truth?! Maybe this green dude was a good guy in disguise ... But then again the speedy kid introduced himself, so that won her trust pretty darn quick. Suddenly, she gasped ridiculously loudly before covering her mouth.

"He's the dominant boyfriend?! You two are so cute!"

Penny would randomly fangirl over this situation, after all Hazama was indeed from an anime, and like any anime male, was too metrosexual for his own good. Though not dumb, she quickly got back into her senses when she realized the circumstances, no S&M couple would be doing this in the middle of an evil base. And then, Kid Flash got the kick. The android puffed her cheeks in response to that, because it was no way to treat her new found friend!

She'd swiftly kick over the detonator toward Kid Flashes impact point while Hazmat guy was preparing something vile during his acrobatics. Just as anticipated, the rotten man flung three knives at the poor boy! Penny wasn't going to let her new buddy get hurt so easily, no sirree. One of her blades already released near her leg would propel itself like a bullet toward the knives. Since they were thrown simultaneously, hitting them in one linear strike was rather easy for the bot, and made even easier with Hazama too busy being a showoff than to pay attention. The second blade followed only a few centimeters behinds but would detach itself from the trajectory to strike the chain oppressing Kid Flash through one of the rings. Because she was using Aura constantly in battle and the blade easily cut through enhanced steel when just falling from a short height, breaking a single somewhat enhanced chain wasn't an issue.

Kid Flash would be free, but after that kick, unless his super powers were so good he avoided it, was probably not in the best of shapes. Nonetheless, he'd make great entertainment for the new buddy in the room Penny barely noticed as Hazmat hipster dude got all weird again.

"Actually I'm saving him! But my name's Penny if you were wondering!"

The robot informed the man after correcting him on this awful mistake. Kid Flash was obviously the woman attached on the railroad here. Penny beamed at Hazama when she introduced herself, as if she had forgotten about his nasty intents. Then again, she did come from a world where such activities were common and killing intents between hunters weren't very common with the Grimm lurking around. But then Hazama mentioned something about being sickeningly innocent, whatever that meant. The little android was more concerned about him mentioning how bad he was. Was he sick? Because saying bad so many times could only mean something was wrong.

"If you're that bad, maybe you should call a doc- Whoa!"

After doing his little hat trick, which didn't instigate the Whoa by the way, he just launched his assault at her with various chains. Being a blatantly obvious forward approach, she could move her slender and petite figure through multiple, but would have to use her enhanced forearms coated with aura to deflect them. Evidently, most were decoys except for one more powerful that latched onto her, only to attract himself toward her at high speeds. She saw that before, he did that on Kid Flash a few moments ago! Her ability to adapt and her threat assessment protocols were engaged.

She'd take the hit spot on her abdomen area, her metal shoes grazing against the floor which in turn launched a mess of sparks into the air. She wasn't propelled however, her body was firmly anchored to the ground, and with a strength that allowed her to pull down a massively larger ship than her WITH it thrusters on, sponging such a kick wasn't too difficult. Luckily her Aura was the major cause for a lack of any visible damage on her otherwise metallic body. Speaking of which, Hazama would feel it quite hard, the cold, hard metal being unmoved by his kick.

"Get ready, Captain Hazmat, because ..."

She'd announced to his face with a curious child's grin on her face. But he couldn't escape after doing that, oh no no! As you can see, she still had to limit the damage, and in order to do that, she clamped both her hands on Hazmat dude's leg during the impact and kept them sturdy. He could feel her Herculean strength as she dug her fingertips on his likely still enhanced leg. Seeing as he was stable when she stopped moving backwards, she'd only keep one hand grasping his leg and he'd still feel just how nasty her physical prowess was.

She lifted her released hand ever so slightly over his leg, her fingers balling into a fist as she fixated the nasty man's body. She wanted to keep him under control when his green self would understand what she'd do.

"... I'm Combat Ready!"

Her voice of innocence announced cheerfully as she mercilessly brought her fist down like a hammer toward Hazama's knee. There was no question about it, if she succeeded she'd break his knee completely considering both her strength and superior status. Needless to say she didn't stall this initiative, as lengthy as it seemed, she mostly made it linger long enough for him to realize before bringing down judgement in the blink of an eye.

Though at that very same moment, Hazama, the new guy she couldn't even wave to and Wally could all hear a high pitched reeling down. Her blades were being brought back at the same time she physically assaulted Hazama. Running backwards was a bad idea, and since they could levitate rather easily jumping up could prove to be pretty risky. The only loose cannon was this new guy. Maybe Wally could do something about that dude!

As usual, the Angels of Paradiso did not harm or cause any threat towards the Umbra Witch as she quickly slaughters the squad to bloody pieces. Even those stormtroopers stand no chance against her bullet arts. This seems like it was going to be an easy battle. As she heads closer the base, she can see everyone fighting in the distance. It was just a complete slaughter on both sides. However, it was simply no time in looking at the bodies dropping like flies and the bright fancy explosions, she needs to keep going.

Eventually, she will find herself inside the base, running stealthily through the halls of the building via her Panther Beast form. Any soldiers that get in her way were also killed, even the demons. She was put as a Spec Ops for a good damn reason and they indeed made her a good choice in infiltrating and via her combat abilities. As she gets deeper into the base, she would eventually find herself near the mess hall, where some of her allies, like Doomguy, Kid Flash, and even fellow Spec Ops mate, Penny Polendina. Very interesting. And nearby was Hazama and... oh? This was funny. It seems as if Yzeira also happened to be here. Bayonetta has rarely seen him around, but knows that he too was a Head-Executive. If she cannot capture Shinnok, then she might as well catch him for more information.

"Well well," she says audibly behind Yzeira as she points one of her guns, "I almost forgot about your existence Yzeira. Been a long time hasn't it?"

The Reign Of Chaos

In only around half an hour, the base was already getting invaded by the Resistance army. There were only a few breachings, but the one that caught most of Shinnok's interest was the one in the mess hall. His Executives and Head Executives were already dealing with some Resistance scum. Bayonetta seems to have just walked in. Ridley sees this too and is also not too happy about it.

"Those Resistance scum have finally blasted through the base..." he growls loudly, "Are you really sure you want to stick around? Might I request a trans~"

"Do take care of them Ridley." interrupts Shinnok as he points to the door.

"There's too many of them." he simply responds, "As a general, not a coward, I~"

"Thats an order." the pale Elder-God states bluntly.

There was a small pause of tension in the room, with the Space Pirate wanting to say otherwise. But alas, one does not simply want to anger an elder god. So with a nod, he flies out of the room and heading straight towards the fight at hand. As he approaches the fight, he squawks at a space pirate troops to rally everyone up and head to the mess room. Four go ahead and do so, while the 30 others began to follow the Space dragon into the mess hall. Before he can do anything, Ridley manages to make himself invisible and perches up on a large ledge up above. He wants to study his opponents before attacking with his own bare claws. As his troops come in, they began to aim their weaponry at the heroes and began to fire mercilessly. Several even got a mobile turret up and running and began to also open fire.

This wasn't going to be some simple food fight thats for sure...

Home One - Resistance Capital Ship

Aboard the capital ship, Home One, it and the other ships were keeping a close eye on the efforts provided on the ground. Inside, stood Generals Leia Organa and Admiral Ackbar, overseeing the battle from space via a computer. As they were watching, they suddenly get an incoming message. Turning on the table comns-link, both generals answers the message.

"This is Recon Squad leader BANSHEE reporting in. Recon squad has touched down safely and have eyes on the ground. The enemy has yet to detect our presence. We are currently stationed at LZ and awaiting further orders. I Repeat..."

"Copy that, Home One responds loud and clear." Leia responds, "Make your way to the base and remain unseen. Several major allies are located in the mess hall of the building. Giving you the coordinates now."

With that, Recon Squad would receive those coordinates.

Alexandria Skye

Alexandria was eyeing the carnage through the advanced fiber optic lens of her sniper scope when she received the response message from Home One. It was just has she feared. She and her squad would have to march across the desert towards the brunt of the fighting. Pushing her fears towards the back of her mind she issued the order. "Alright men! We've received new orders from Home One! We are to stealthily approach the enemy base from the south and stand our ground until further orders! Technician team! Carry the communications relay. All other teams will form a defensive convoy around the relay. Lets take this slowly troopers. We do NOT want to get detected." With that command the ODST troopers packed up their equipment and the relay, donned their desert camouflage and started the painstakingly slow trek across the blistering desert with Alexandria with her cloaking system on in the lead.

Apparently Alexandria's comrades on the battlefield had managed to infiltrate the outer defenses of the enemy base and were fighting on the inside in the mess hall area. This was mixed news to her. This meant that the Alliance was one step closer to capturing the target, Shinnok, but it also meant that they were entering into the belly of the beast and would face the most amount of opposition there. She was hoping the forces led by Lt. Mustang have given Bayonetta enough time to enter the base unscathed and complete her mission.

As Alexandria and her unit approached as quietly as thy could towards the explosively loud warzone, she was uploading all visual and auditory data straight to Home One through the portable relay, hoping to give General Leia a more thorough view of the battle. After this, she started to send a signal to Lt. Roy Mustang. "Lt. Roy Mustang. This is Recon squad leader BANSHEE reporting in. We have successfully landed at the LZ and are headed towards your position. Once we have reached the perimeter of the battlefield, we will await your further commands." Now she was just waiting for the response.

~Noblesse~

During it all, a specific shadow danced throughout the sides of battle, a dark blue shadow. Even the one with the least amount of an attention span would question it's existence, and why it was there. As expected, some troops from the RoC would definitely be drawn to it in order to investigate... right? That's what happened, and to say the least, they may had missed a certain saying. What that was? Well... ever heard of tye saying... "curiosity killed the cat?"

A small smirk appeared on the blue shadow, and soon enough, it leapt into the air... it's guise fading away to reveal the rather prevailing Noblesse high above them.

"Heheh... just let me grind you into the ground like the little maggots you are!"

As blue flames appeared on her hands and gone off with the wind, oversized gauntlets were summoned to her aid, already equipped and the end result made obvious. Slamming her gauntlets into the ground as if she were to stomp them mercilessly*, Lu did not hesitate to do so, feeling their pathetic struggle to fight back die down almost immediately.

Why was someone like her even working with the Resistance? Simple. Lu only wanted to reclaim her rightful throne back in the demon realm. She could've done a thing to achieve that long ago, but alas, the multiverse was not in a stable state, and could cost her the throne anyways if it were not dealt with now. That is why she chose to work for the Resistance, getting herself a spot within the Spec Ops while her only servant, Ciel, became a Lieutenant. Wherever he may be during this battle, she knew he could handle his own, that was why she found him worthy of being her servant under her contracts...

Pressing further and further into the base, Lu was able to see that some of her allies were already here... and also some from the opposing side. Interesting... So she better think her moves out carefully... Sometimes she wondered if it were best to have Ciel assist her with such things, like sniping enemies from afar with his cross gatling gun. But truthfully, she rather not make it a hassle for him at this moment. She had the power now to do these things on her own, he had helped her regain this power anyways.

Not wanting to take anybody by surprise, Lu covered herself in the blue shadows again, this time being a little more... subtle with it's presence, and snuck her way closer to the action... A lovely surprise if this went well would surely go off...

MC

@FacePunch @LMpkio @Savato @Absolis @tex @Gummi Bunnies

MC was more surprised by the fact that she didn't get the attention of anyone even with her breaking through the base. But she guessed it was more due to the fact of two spec ops team members dropping in through the ceiling, Bayonetta and Penny the latter of which literally came through it, and the multiple explosions that could be heard outside. Two new Reign of Chaos members did join the frey though, one of them looking like some amalgamation of lesser chaos energy, while another was some dragon thing perched above the fight, apparently bringing in reinforcements.

Noting that she was left to her own designs, MC began to repeatedly cast Summon Elemental until she had a small army of 8 of them. Activating them using a Poison AoE attack, the inert elementals began to take the form of acid, poison constantly dripping from their bodies as they began to rush the Reign of Chaos soldiers from around the wall, spitting poison acid as they approached. While a few soldiers paniced and opened fire on the now approaching poison elementals to little effect, MC recast her shields and haste spells before turning to cause a bit more chaos within the Mess Hall.

Calling one elemental to open the wall for her, the elemental slamming itself upon it. MC figured out her next move. Once the wall slowly melted from the elemental's acid revealing the ethereal, MC cast Grease which she set on fire with a quick small fireball (Earth fire) in an attempt to slow down and dissuade the enemy reinforcements, following up by summoning a barrier made of Shield energy in front of her to block reaction shots. "Hi guys. Kid Flash asked for reinforcements?" MC said, casting Performance Enhancer on Kid Flash, curious as to how the speedster would handle a sudden temporary power and speed boost.

Light

@gun @Saint Girralo @Frengo @dirty slime

Light followed Mustang into battle, a bit unsure of what to antagonize. Occasionally when the Knight who was sprawled on the ground would fire a fire bolt in their direction, Light would bat it away at the bulk of the army. She was really annoyed at Doomguy though, who just charged off on his own and made an opening, having more fun from the looks of it. Trying to get the attention of Mustang, Light said. "So, want me to play with something or should I just keep playing defense, coach?"

The Battlefield

The prone Knight was far from daunted by the explosions all around him, the worst they have done merely being obscuring his vision and even with that; he was quick to see that his spellcaster friend was going to get overrun by the Rebels in their advance and with renewed Vigor; rises up to the task and makes a glorious charge towards the center of Roy's unit, once again laughing off the various blaster bolts and bullets splash against his armor. This time however, Fate decides to throw him a bone and with the force of a raging bull; the knight smashes into the line, trampling over an unfortunate pair of soldiers who were preparing to fire an anti-tank missile at him before he promptly goes to town on the rebels, each slash of his simple-seeming sword hacking though flesh, armor and steel like butter and cutting a bloody swath through the ranks. If something isn't done soon, there'll be no more force left to charge in!

The Puppet-Wizard meanwhile merely frowns at the incoming fireballs and does nothing to stop them as they wash over his form to little effect, his magical attire having been enhanced to resist flame in mind; however the grenade that found itself next to his feet gave him far more justified worry and without flourish, the magician returns it to sender by catapulting it with a small pillar of earth. Unfortunately for him, that was just first of a whole volley of grenade... Reacting to the realization of his coming mortality with a sound between a squeak and a groan, the Wizard quickly covered his entire form with numerous thick sheets of earth to protect himself from the inevitable fireball. When the smoke and dust cleared, the Wizard would be gone from where he had been and instead, driven right through a supply crate a good hundred feet away head-first. Needless to say, the Resistance wouldn't have to worry about him anytime soon.

Unfortunately, the Resistance had inadvertently traded in one powerful spellcaster for a pair of potentially stronger ones as the two hooded mages; who were hanging back with the flame knight in the rear, had finally decided to directly intervene instead of providing support due to the quickly degenerating situation. Mage 1 makes its presence known by unleashing a trio of small but violent whirlwinds towards Roy and everyone near him with a wave of its staff, the dusty devils homing right at the Alchemist officer while Mage 2 erects a bastion of Earth and Rock to keep the both of them from getting torn to shreds by the massed fire now currently directed at them.

While Kyrie's gambit did indeed succeed in neutralizing his Angelic pursuer, it had failed to destroy him; as his Holy Panoply would not be so easily crushed by mortal artifice. Rather than being vaporized, the Holy Warrior was merely burnt and bloodied by the attack; yet he still stood proud and tall despite his robe being in tatters and the rest of him little better off. Shielding himself one last time from the mech's blindfire, he manages to protect his vitals from the beams before he sinks down to one knee; exhausted and humiliated. But the Angel would not get any respite as a mob of vengeful Resistance troops began to move in on his position. Cursing his fortune, the Angel wills his broken body to stand, even though he wobbles unsteadily on his feet, he does not plan on dying on his back! But as they began to raise their weapons, several of them from the back were sent sailing high into the air; prompting the rest to turn around and fight their sudden attackers. Seeing the wingtips of his two squires amidst the flailing bodies, the realization that his students will get themselves killed over his mistake fills the Swordsman with both fear and righteous strength. With a deafening battle-cry, the angelic knight then lunges towards the swiftly panicking mob; lopping off limbs and heads like a scythe to wheat.

Meanwhile the Licht Gruppe squad leader was holding the fort, facing an entire battalion of resistance troops trying to go through a breach in the defensive line all alone... And stalemating with them.

Kokonoe

Kokonoe sat in a break room in the ship. It had been a while since she had been out of the lab. All her subordinates were out in the battle, so she had to get coffee herself. The coffee tasted pretty awful though. She hadn't had a good brew for a while.

Finishing the coffee, Kokonoe pulled out another silvervine pop from the stash she had hidden in her coat. At least they had these around. There were quite a few sweets in her lab, but these were her favorite. Regardless, she needed to get back to her lab.

Kokonoe made her way through the ship. Hopefully no one important had gotten themselves killed while she was gone. In this case she actually needed them. Plus, someone dying would look pretty bad on her record. Luckily, on making it into her lab everyone seemed to still be alice according to her screen.

Kokonoe sat down at the screen. Letting the silvervine pop sit in her mouth, she would begin setting up communications with one of the spec ops team, whichever one was closest to the target room. In this case, that was bayonetta. Bayonetta would hear three beeps, then kokonoes voice come out of the air somewhere around her.

"Bayonetta, status. My feeds showing the base burning. Did the subordinates go off the rails again?"

Kokonoe sighed, before muttering an insult to the subordinates. Another scan would reveal that doom had managed to get in. Why was she not surprised? We needed the target alive! Not some maverick walking in and blowing the place up! Great... kokonoe would open up another communication line to doom, partially to berate him, partially to make sure he hadn't got himself killed, and partially to send him to another important target. Again, doom guy would hear three beeps before kokonoes voice.

"What do you think your doing! How many times do I have to tell you, you're here to kill things, you aren't spec ops. You don't go in until everything outside is dead or dying! Idiot. Listen, since your in there, I'm getting a massive power spike from the mess hall. Bayonetta's almost there, and pennys managed to sneak in there. It's about three halls east of you. I don't know what's causing it, but I don't think it's the target. So make yourself useful and clear the place out!"

Kokonoe would then push her chair over to another screen. She needed a better look at the Reigns base. And this angle was not cutting it. A couple of clicks later and a drone would be heading inside. Finally, she could see more then power spikes and explosions.

Things were looking up then it all came crashing down. The Mage-Knight was back up and attacking his troops, the puppet mage was gone, but two more took his place. His face grew dark, anger clearly present, but not anger at anyone in particular, just the situation. No not true, he was angry at the Mage-Knight, cutting down his soldiers, the two spell-casters who had the audacity to attack him. Roy clapped his hands together and touched the barrier he had erected on his way to the opening, making it grow in both width and height. If he didn't do something, Foxtrot would be dead and him along with them. Yet there was only one thing he could think of.

"Light, get the rest of Foxtrot into the base. Once everyone is in, blow the entrance. That's an order. You're in command after that," Roy practically growled.

He walked around his barrier and glared at the spell casters who had sent the whirlwinds at him, and clapped his hands together and touched the dirt and sand beneath him. Large pillars of dirt and sand rise from the ground between him and the mages, which would, at the very least, buy him some time to handle the Mage-Knight. Some of the pillars were behind him as well, to send the message that he didn't want Light to follow him.

"Lieutenant Mustang to Command, Foxtrot is on its way inside the base, but they need cover of some sort. I'm going to hold Licht group off the best I can while they make their way inside. They have orders to blow the entrance once everyone is in. Light has been placed in command. Make sure my body, or what's left of it, makes it back to Amestris. Once they are clear, use whatever means necessary to ensure that Licht group doesn't make it off this planet. Lieutenant Mustang, Brigadier General of the Amestrian Army out." He said, speaking into his radio.

"MC, Light, make sure my body makes it back to Amestris." He says into his radio unnervingly calmly.

Clapping his hands together, Roy Mustang slammed them to the ground and raised a thick and tall and wide barrier of dirt, stone and sand between the Mage-Knight and his next target. "Does everyone in the Licht Group target those significantly weaker than them first, or is it just you that is the coward!" He hollered at the knight as he picks up a dropped rifle.

"I'll see you soon Maes."

Richard nodded along as the woman explained her situation and why she had decided to throw herself into a battle she had nothing to do with, then threw his head back and laughed. "Mwuhahahahahahah, that was how my first day went too. Richard Hawk, damn glad to meet ya Darquesse."

With that he hopped back down into his cockpit and started up a system check to see what was still working and what had been busted to hell by Darquesse's assault. "Feel free to go as crazy as you want out there. Anyone heading toward that cliff over there needs to be smeared across the desert. Don't sweat over whether you're shooting us or them, we don't have a uniform so everyone's done it sometime."

Everything was checking out pretty fine on the diagnostic. Joint damage, but that was to be expected. The right hand was especially bad from that wind she'd hit it with. His reaction time would suffer for it. The latches and racks in the pods were broken from where she'd pulled them open and wrenched the weapons away, rendering them effectively just a really cumbersome backpack for carrying ammo. He was worried that it might be the same deal for the cockpit, but was relived to find that it could still close. Satisfied he searched around in the cockpit and threw what looked like a bead up to her.

"Com device. It will also mark you as friendly to any of our boys that aren't Luddites. If by some miracle we have to pull out of here find somebody quickity split and tell them you've lost your return beacon, they'll know what you mean. And if they don't want to take you, force them. They deserve it for being selfish."

The brazen accusation of cowardice and the sudden wall of earth blocking his blade had stopped the Mage-Knight from decapitating a terrified but defiant Resistance NCO who had willingly thrown herself into the metal monster's path and tried to pierce his helmet with an utterly pitiful holdout blaster after her rifle had been hacked in two by the Knight in order to save her men from the seemingly unstoppable warrior, even though he had his orders and was clearly having the time of his life in the thick of it; the Knight's pride and peculiar form of nobility would not let such an insult from the Alchemist officer go unpunished nor such courage and sacrifice go unrewarded for the squad leader, for even though they are enemies; he and the rest of his brothers and sisters from the Licht Gruppe believed that they are more Just than the Resistance due to their unflagging adherence to honor and fairness, things that they believed the Resistance had gradually lost sight of over the years of warfare and horror.

And so the Knight let the NCO run back to her squad when she realized that the Knight was no longer interested in her before turning towards Roy, his scorched armor and tattered surcoat; both liberally caked with blood and grime making his sizable form even more intimidating. Not only that, he also began to exude an aura of magically-amplified menace in order to cow nearby soldiers, both friend and foe from getting in his way... This was matter of pride and honor and he wanted everyone to know that he wouldn't tolerate any interference!

"A coward? Tell me this, who are the ones fighting a losing battle just to buy more time?"

The Knight then gestures to the carnage around him, showing that the only remaining troops around the immediate area were Resistance; with most of the defenders having already been pushed back or killed. The entire section of the battlefield literally resting on the shoulders of a far smaller force of units against a tide of men and machine.

"Not very heroic of you rebels to be held back by a smaller force now is it?"

The Knight then readies his sword in a neutral guard stance as he begins to approach the Alchemist officer.

"And besides, this is war. We all have to do things we find unsavory for what we believe in..."

With that somber one-liner, the Knight then initiates his charge; moving as fast as a speeding truck and with the same grace (or lack of), It was clear to Roy that the Metal monster wants to defeat him in a knightly duel with nobody to help or hinder him. Which the career Officer could easily spin to his advantage as the knight has shown to be the type to move and see in no other direction but forwards.

Line of sight lost between them, their comrade and Roy's unit, the Mages decided that the respite would provide them a good long while to try and save their digital brother-in-arms who was currently lying on an ammo dump, practically asking to be blown up by a stray shot or a deliberately thrown grenade. The wind mage casting a swiftness spell on itself and its companion, the pair then made their way towards their unconscious comrade; their enhanced speed making them little more than phantoms to the naked eyes of the majority of the Resistance's troops. Wasting no time in attempting to bodily carry the puppet-like wizard, the Earth mage simply creates a makeshift stretcher of levitating rocks before the two haul their comrade on top of it and get the hell out of dodge with him in tow; just in time too as a TIE fighter crashes into the cache and sends all three magic users flying from the explosion's intense shockwave.

Yzeira Yezia

Eldritch IV - Deep within the RoC Base

Before Yzeira could take another step forward, something sparked his attention. Another soldier? No, it was moving too fast. He turned to get a better view of the approaching entity through the compound walls, but as he spun, he heard the click of a pistol, and its owner's voice calling out to him. Bayonetta, the angel-slayer, was it? Or something far less grotesque, perhaps. Yzeira knew little about her capabilities or reputation, but forewarning forced the magical entity to assume the worst. He slowly turned to face her, flooding his body with energy in preparation for an attack. Bullets wouldn't be a danger if he could manage to focus on her weapon, but he had a lurking suspicion that firepower wasn't the only thing threatening his safety. Wait a moment, why did this feel so familiar to him? They'd met before, she'd claimed it to be so, in fact. But when? His memory wasn't very sharp when it came to faces or names, and they hadn't fought before. His forgetfulness drove him mad, but this little interaction would definitely refresh any details that had dulled since last they met.

"I couldn't answer, Bayonetta. Likewise, your mundane image has sunk into the deepest recesses of my mind. I don't recall you being so... Little. For that, I suppose I should be apologetic." Yzeira quipped as he tensed the muscles in his right hand instinctively. It'd been a while since he'd stopped bullets. Mach 2.3, if he recalled correctly. A respectable speed far within his capability to follow with those glass-like red eyes of his. "I am only here to remedy this god-awful racket, and I would see to it that my intentions remain undisturbed. I could guarantee that You'd find no victory in taking my life, but your affiliation beckons moronic principal. If you stand in the way of peace and quiet, so be it." Yzeira stressed the bones in his left hand, forcing a thick red liquid to seep from every pore, and dance between his fingertips like blood. The spheres at his feet began to raise higher as well, slowly spinning around his torso in a ballet of chaotic energies, red electricity cracking between each one, and their caster's body. Of course, he would not be harmed by his own magic, being an extension of his corrupted magical network, but the danger was very real for anyone other than himself. Assuming they consisted of matter or energy, anyways. Of course, to assume otherwise would imply they could not lay harm upon Yzeira either. After all, what harm is a ghost without physical influence?

Yzeira waited patiently for Bayonetta to respond, or attack, with his entire body at the ready, and his eyes keeping tabs on his surroundings, to avoid falling under attack from yet another resistance whelp.

X

Eldritch IV - The Back Lines, Observing the chaos

X couldn't move a single joint in his body. The chaos was widespread, and death was fresh in the air. What kind of madness was this? Did the resistance intend to give up this much to take out their enemies? The war hadn't been kind to the poor, kind-hearted blue bomber at all. Zero was long gone, his life taken by one of those advanced gundam robots earlier in the conflict. Without his closest friend, the war felt as if it were already over. But he had to press on, there was no other way. So there he stood, charging his mega-buster continuously on the edge of the battlefield, waiting for the opportune moment to unleash his payload across the field of battle with precision. His Target? He hadn't thought that far ahead, but with so much energy stored in his buster-arm, whatever he'd chosen to aim for would find themselves in the wake of a massive blast of condensed energy.

"Soon," X murmured to himself, looking for an opportune target.

Darquesse didn't really care for Richard's explanation, she knew what to do. The information that she was allowed to blow up her new 'allies' was interesting though, this might be her kind of organization. He tossed a comm at her, and she caught the small device, looking at it sceptically. She very much doubted it'd last long, considering the kind of damage that would be heading her way. But she simply shrugged and clipped it onto her jacket. As Richard finished briefing her, she gave an exaggerated salute in his direction. "Sir yes sir!" Laughing, she shot off into the air, accelerating to maximum speed as she launched herself into the battlefield, already searching for her next plaything. And there were oh so many pretty little toys to choose from.

@Saint Girralo@dirty slime

The mage-knight stormed at the alchemist, blade at the ready as he attempted to kill the sergeant. Roy would most likely raise his hand, already prepared to face the charging warrior. But their battle would be interrupted, as a black-haired comet struck the earth between the two. The ground cracked beneath Darquesse's feet as she landed, and as she did, she also imbued some of her magic into the earth. A ripple moved through the Earth, like a shockwave of solid rock. The two combatants were thrown to the ground by the surprise earthquake, the mage-knight's powerful charge transformed into a tumbling fall. Confronting the two stood Darquesse, grinning brightly as she stared at Roy.

"Oh hi there. Was I interrupting something, don't worry about it, I'll let you continue in a moment." Darquesse casually strolled forward, ignoring the Mage-knight and all he was most likely shouting about. She could tell at a glance he was a stiff kind of person, and she hated people like that. While she was fairly certain he was on her side, she'd probably end up killing him anyway, so nothing he said mattered. "So I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that those guys behind you are your friends. So I just wanted you to know that, while you're here doing your little last stand, I'm going to be killing them. Slowly." She gave him a little wave, before walking past him. The stone wall seemed to part for her, as she willed the stone to open for her. "Good luck with your fight!"
