In the large empty dojo, a bald figure sat cross-legged in the center of the room, his eyes closed in meditation. He had been like that since before sunrise. Lately, the air had been heavier for the past couple of days. He knew very well from the lessons given to him by his family...the one who had been sealed away, the Dragon Master, was free and roaming about this Earth. The figure held the Jade Prayer Bracelet, the heirloom of his ancestor, trying to see into the possible futures for anything that could help. What the Dragon Master had planned couldn't be seen, and there were too many blurred events to make out what will happen exactly. But the faces of the Reincarnated Monks, were clear as day. As soon as he had cemented the faces into his memory, he opened his eyes from the meditation, and he stood. He looked to the clock to see that it was Eight in the morning. He walked out of the dojo, and headed out to search for the Reincarnated Monks...hopefully before the Dragon Master finds them.
Considering that the faces he had seen seemed to be around in their twenties' (only one of them was younger than that), it seemed like the best place to start searching for them, was at the closest college in this town.
"Oi! Kay! Wake up you sleepyhead!"
Kay gasped as she opened her dull silver eyes towards her roommate (even though all she could see is darkness). She sat up and grabbed her cane as she asked "Marisa? Is something wrong?" She heard her roommate answer "Nah, I'm ok. You, on the other hand, looked as though you were having a nightmare!" Kay blinked and she asked "Really? I don't remember it if that's the case," Her roommate sighed and commented "Lucky! If I had a nightmare that made me toss and turn like that, I don't think I could ever get it out of my head," Kay chuckled, before she realized "Marisa, what time is it?" Marisa answered "It's 7:45 in the morning," Kay widened her eyes and she panicked "Oh no! I'm going to be late for class! She got out of bed (somewhat glad she was still in normal clothes from yesterday), and was about to hurry about her dorm room just to find her backpack, but her roommate stopped her saying, "Woah! Calm down, Kay! You'll trip if you try to go too fast. You'll make it to class in time, don't worry. Here," Kay felt Marisa hand her her backpack, with all of her books and notebooks in it, and she thanked her roommate, before the both of them left for class.
She did feel guilty that Marisa felt that she had to help her, but Kay didn't say it out loud. All she felt she could was try and take care of at least something by herself. As they headed for class, with Kay tapping her white and red cane on the ground in front of her path and sunglasses covering her eyes, Marsia asked "So, Kay. What club are you going to try out for today, considering Cooking club didn't work out, and you clearly didn't like the Fencing club?" Kay hummed in response "Well...I was thinking of trying out for Dancing Club. What do you think?" Marisa's voice answered back with a sound of doubt "I dunno...but if that's what you want to try out then who am I to stop you?"
