Battle one: Frenzy plant vs Phoenix Wing A
As the fourth day of battles began, Games Master Sheldon was saying,
"it's going to be double battles! Two on two! Amazing, huh? OOH LOOK THE NAMES ARE APPEARING!" Names and guilds were flickering across the screen, finally choosing its next victims
"We Have Zander and Xyster of Frenzy Plant vs Nolan and Joshua of Phoenix Wing A! Come on, step right up and lets get these battles started!""
Oh god damnit, why a team battle." Joshua muttered to himself. He wasn't really one for teams. Hell, the only people he could stand in the guild at this point were Amaya and Amelia. Of those two, he only ever worked with the former. Sighing, he got up and headed down, stopping just before the entrance to the Arena to wait for this Nolan person. He knew nothing about the man outside of the obvious, so this was going to be a test of patience. Then again, his was already being tested as it was.
Team battles huh? What a drag. Here he was hoping that he would get to have a one on one fight with another mage and here he was partnered up with someone he doesn't even know. Hell, even the kind of magic that Joshua used was a mystery for him so this certainly wasn't a good start to it all. Nolan had arrived at the entrace right before the arena's battlefield where he saw Joshua. Just looking at him gave Nolan the impression that he wasn't a friendly person, but then again he wasn't one to talk.
"Um, hello." There really wasn't much to be said between them. It was awkward enough being paired up with someone he didn't know and the feeling was probably mutual.
Across the Doma Flau, feelings were comparatively high. Among the various smaller groups that divided the upper echelon of Frenzy Plant, the knight and the Dullahan did not form such a partnership, but this fazed neither of them. The
modus operandi of Frenzy Plant was military cohesion, and to fulfill that vision there existed among the warrior guild's different ranks, created by training and cooperation, such an emphasis on teamwork that finding a pair as unfamiliar and awkward as Nolan and Joshua would be arduous indeed. As they made their preparations to go down into the arena, Xyster and Zander shared a smile, and when the pair approached the railings of the stands to leap over, they did it in sync.
A couple of moments went by before all four competitors were together in the arena. In silence Zander eyed the respective swords of his opponents, then rifled through the sack of secondary weapons he'd prepared beforehand. With a noise of approval he selected and removed a messer that he then attached to his belt beside his famous ruby blade. Xyster, meanwhile, took a couple of steps toward Joshua and Nolan, twirling her wildly-grinning head by the ribbons.
"Buddies! Looks like I get to pay you back for beating me in rock-paper-scissors! Is it just me, or do you two look even more unhappy than two months ago? And here I was hoping to say something cool like 'I'll wipe that smile of your face!'" She laughed cheerfully and slung her head upward, hurtling into the air. As it fell, Xyster bided her time, and at the last second summoned her Harvester--that killer scythe she could only manifest when planning to hurt someone. Her head hung, suspended by its ribbons, on the bottom of the weapon's handle, and maintained its to-wide grin. Skipping backward until she was even with Zander, she giggled again and flourished the scythe before posing.
"Well, it's been nice knowing ya!" A black aura settled around her as the Games Master blared,
"Three! Two! One! Brawl!""
A scythe with a cackling head on it... that aint something you see everyday." Joshua said as he watched Xyster. He had no idea what she meant about rock-paper-sciccors, he had never met this freak show before. But he remembered her event. He could recall that she enjoyed getting hurt and that it worked in conjunction with her magic. So if he ended up engaging her, he would have to avoid causing her unessessary damage. Their other opponent seemed to be human though. He probably would have an easier time handling that man. "
Take your pick as to which one you want. I'll take the other."
"I've met her before a few months back. I don't know what she's planning though I guess it goes without saying that you need to be careful." Her magic was still a mystery to him, but from what he had observed was that her magic seem to be ominous. It was like her magic was the embodiment of death itself. Nolan recalled that when he first met her, she seemed to be quite interested with the topic of death. Xyser could even sense death due to her being a dullahan so perhaps her magic did resolve around death? Even if that was the case as long he didn't know how it worked it would be tough to face her.
She alone was already a powerful adversary, but she was paired up with one of Frenzy Plant's elite members, Zander. A few months ago Team Powder Keg fought an S-Class mage and it took the four of them to take him down. Nolan would have to be prepared to face the overwhelming force that was the Ruby Knight. Still, this was a good chance to measure up how much he head grown in terms of strength.
"I'll take the knight. You take the dullahan." He responded to Joshua just as the the game master started the match.
"Give my regards to General Sanders for providing strong mages to fight." With swift speed he unsheathed his sword and in that same motion slashed the air in front of him, releasing an arc of ashes flying towards the opponents. It was meant to separate them so that he and Joshua could split up and fight them separately.
Beneath his helmet, Zander furrowed his brows.
"Split us up, will you?" he muttered, having listened to Joshua and Nolan decide who'd go where. His everpresent prudent cautiousness dictated that he would endeavor to prevent the enemy team from getting anything they wanted. A quick consideration of what exactly it meant for a tag-team pair to want to fight separately -who would turn down a chance to work together?- emphasized the idea of sticking with Xyster even further. Zander had seen the type before: the grim swordsman, gruff and unconcerned with teamwork, often with a tragic past and fearsome power but the same sorts of weaknesses. Keeping his eyes on Nolan as he wound up to swing, Zander told his comrade in a low tone,
"We work as one. Respond quickly and precisely to my instruction." The dullahan nodded in confirmation, happily accepting subordination for the sake of a functioning team dynamic.
"You got it, boss."The next moment, a curtain of ashes blazed toward the two soldiers, a cut through the radiant afternoon daylight that made the day bleed darkness. The Ruby Knight took it in stride, tightening his guard and saying,
"A divider. Stand back while I deal with this. I'm going to put you into the fray." Deliberately and methodically, Zander lowered his weapon and held his gauntleted left hand outstretched toward the incoming arc of ashes. His breathing, blinking, and even his heartrate stopped completely, their owner possessed by an incredible focus. The ash collided with Zander directly, and for a fraction of a second the Ruby Knight's whole body flashed white. An instant later, all was normal, and the ash curtain gone.
Zander now held the hand against his body, a closed fist. After pivoting it ninety degrees, he through it out again, and from his palm an arc of ashes
thrummed forth. This one flew horizontally, threatening to separate legs from body rather than Nolan from Joshua. Wasting no time, Zander planted the hilt of his ruby sword in the ground, and a shimmering red light surrounded it just before the blade extended upward. Xyster jumped toward him, grabbed the gemstone blade, and abruptly flew upward. Grunting in strain, Zander lifted the extended blade, which wobbled precariously in reply, and took a hundred-foot overhead swing at Joshua. As the blade came down, Xyster jumped from it, laughing in exhileration, and followed up Zander's massive swing with a devastating leap attack adjusted toward wherever Joshua might have dodged.
Joshua watched as one of their opponent's took Nolan's ash attack and sent it back at them. He simply ducked under it before looking up to see his opponent's sword grow in size, becoming massive. He whistled calmly.
"
Someone seems to be trying to compensate for their lack of skill." He said before the blade came down on his head, with him stepping to the side to avoid it with ease. You couldn't telegraph an attack better then that. Still, the real attack seemed to be the laughing hooligan that was following it. Sighing, he stepped into her attack and avoided the blade and swing of her scythe all together. "
So, are we still playing games, cause I can live with this a bit longer. Really, its amusing. Sure you two aren't a circus act?"
For a moment, Xyster sported a hurt expression. Ultimately, however, she couldn't hold it together, and that too-wide smile slipped through again.
"Maybe! But, that means you got tricked into making me stronger by a carnie!" The Dullahan span her scythe around her in a complicated and showy maneuver, but something was wrong. Her brilliant green eyes dripped a similarly-colored fluid that flowed down her face like tears, creating iridescent stripes, but more noteworthy than that was her speed. Xyster didn't just move faster; she moved as if someone had pressed the fast-forward button. Every single motion she made went by about twice as quickly, and the laws of physics evidently bent around her to act in unison.
"But," she said cheerily, her voice corrupted halfway to static. The next moment she dashed forward and stopped with her head held mere centimeters from Joshua's face, her fangs brushing his nose.
"Aren't carnies scary? Underworld Emissary!"The Dullahan ducked around behind him and ran--only, the Dullahan also appeared in front of Joshua, her formed darkened and slightly transparent. This doppelganger, no mere illusion, smiled and slashed out with bony claws to rend flesh and bone.
Joshua didn't even flinch when Xyster put her head in front of his face. He did wrinkle his nose at the smell of her breathe. He had to wonder if this thing brushed it's teeth or if doing so would even help. He didn't move as she ducked behind him and a second appeared in front of him. The claw attack was easy to follow and he simply stepped to the side and skipped back a step, keeping an eye on both the real one and the fake, keeping track of which was which. Really, this was going to be a good test, if nothing else.
-=Meanwhile=-
Nolan wondered why Zander was standing there when an arc of smoldering death flying straight towards him though his question was soon answered. A flash of white light consumed the knight's whole body for a brief moment and the ashes were gone. Not even a moment to think about what he did, the elite mage redirected Nolan's ashes straight to both Joshua and himself. Ashes erupted under his feet followed by small thick cloud of ashes that Nolan rode on into the air. He stood on the platform of ashes that hovered in the air and watched Zander create an overly the top long blade comprised of ruby-like material. Xyster had latched herself to the gem sword that was coming straight down towards Josh and then jumped off for an overhead attack with her sycthe.
Joshua was doing quite well with dodging though it looked like his main force of attacking was just smack talk. Under any other situation he would've told him to follow up his words with actual attacks, but his attention was focused on taking the perfect chance to strike. Nolan sheathed Kaso and held his right hand out to the side, a blue light flickered dimly followed by the summoning the god slaying sword, Ares. It was a double edged broadsword with a red glowing jewel in the guard and two bronze spikes protruding from the midsection of the blade.
The weapon floated by his hand and with the flick of the wrist, the sword flew straight towards Zander pommel first. The knight had created a blade that was much too long and heavy to use in close quarter combat and, fast as he may be to shorten the blade, he wasn't going to be fast enough to react. Seeing this, Zander released his extended ruby sword and reached around his belt to draw his messer. Once Ares was in range of Zander, Nolan's body flickered with that same blue light that had been used to summon the broadsword and appeared right in front of Zander. Nolan's hands gripped onto the handle of the sword preparing for an overhead slash, his physical strength increased furthed from the Ares' enchantment. The blade erupted with ashes that were so dark that it was hard to discern whether it was actually darkness or ashes.
"Ash God's Crushing Saber!" He roared as he swung the blade down to Zander's head.
The ruby blade smacked into the sand as the messer came all the way around, revealed for the first time. While Nolan thundered his incantation, Zander intoned his own, not loud enough for his opponent to hear over his own voice.
"Scarlet Sword: Red Slide." A crimson light flared to life around the messer's blade, moving in jagged flashes like the glinting of a chainsaw's teeth. The Ruby Knight held his choice weapon diagonally to intercept Nolan's crushing strike, pitting his strength and magic against his foe's. The blades clashed, and the force of Nolan's slash slid right down the gleaming scarlet teeth and stuck against the messer's nagel, caught in place. Though he wasted no time in beginning his next move, Zander allowed himself to say,
"Child's play."He thrust his fist forward, pushing the hilts of both swords dangerously close to Nolan's face, and altered his stance slightly. The very next moment Zander pushed with his free hand against the upper part of his messer, pivoting the locked blades downward and allowing Nolan's strike to carry on toward the ground. At the same time, an armored elbow swung straight for the Ash God Slayer's jaw.
The clang of two blades coliding rung out with great intensity though the looks of the mens' faces were far from intense. Both Zander and Nolan remained composed when both were presented with situations that needed split second decision making though the Ruby Knight was much more experienced with making choices on the fly. Nolan saw that his attack had no affect on his opponent, rather it did more harm than good. Ares was caught between the teeth of the blade's red energy and Zander was able to direct the force of the attack away from him. He expected this from someone an S-class mage from Frenzy Plant. This was going to be a hard to earn win.
He didn't let his words get to him like the knight intended to. Nolan simply was going to make him eat his words by beating him.
Nolan pushed back against Zander's thrust to keep his face distant from the hilts of the swords and suddenly his opponent shifted the messer so that Nolan's swing to move on to the ground. At that exact moment Nolan shifted into a side stance and pulled his head back to let the elbow graze his jaw. One hand had let go of Ares and he pushed forward to close the distance between them, using that momentum to carry his body weight forward and throw an armored uppercut that was enhanced by Ares strength enchantment to Zander's exposed jaw.
The sight of an incoming punch spurred an instinctive response in Zander to jump backward, but he did not move quickly enough to outdistance Nolan. A crunching noise heralded the contact of the Ash God Slayer's armored fist with the Ruby Knight's crystalline mask. Some of the force transmitted through to Zander's own head, stunning him slightly, but he did not stumble. Instead, Zander pulled off the broken mask and tossed it at Nolan, then followed it up immediately with a shoulder check into diagonal-upward slash.
-=And Then=-
The list of Nolan's problems continued to grow as a speed-up Xyster approached behind him. Evidently, the soldiers of Frenzy Plant would not allow themselves to be separated for long. After a giggle more reminiscent of a radio pulverized by a hammer than a sound of enjoyment, the Dullahan twirled her head by the ribbons around her free arm and used the other to drive the point at the bottom of her scythe toward Nolan's back.
At last! The first attack of the match to meet its mark had finally arrived and it was Nolan that dealt the first blow. However it would've been much too arrogant and foolish to celebrate landing a punch in the beginning of the match. Besides, Nolan knew that his punch didn't do the amount of damage that he had hoped it would. Zander must've been protected by the same magic that he used to augment the messer. He had to give the knight credit where credit was due; he was very well prepared.
The Ruby Knight threw the crystaline mask at Nolan as a decoy for his sword strike. To make matters worse, Xyster was behind him with a horror movie like giggle and swung her sycthe down straight to his back. Moving one hand away from Ares, Nolan postioned his arm so that his hand was over his shoulder and blue light flickered faintly in the palm of his hand just before he summoned another god slaying sword, Sol. Unlike the barbarically designed Ares, Sol was a beautiful, ornate double edged sword that was made of a gold and sturdier metals. It shone brilliantly, it's radiance alone seemed to brighten the day.
Nolan had swung Ares down against Zander's strike and held Sol over his shoulder protecting his back against Xyster's scythe coming down to reap his spine. Just what in the hell was Joshua doing?! Tch, whatever the case was it seemed like he was going to have to just fight with everything he's got and then some.
Nolan shifted his weight and then spun around, using the force to break both Zander and Xyster's stances. Ashes appeared around him and then a large dome of spinning, smoldering ashes encapsulated Nolan and hopefully his two opponents.
"Ash God's Domain!" He chanted while the spell had taken affect.
Unfortunately for Nolan, an expulsion of ash and force designed to break stances was the wrong response to a two-pronged advancing attack. A metal shoulder rammed into the Ash God Slayer's back as he performed a spin, but the ensuing ashen outburst prevented the Ruby Knight's messer slice from being anything but a glancing blow. Zander, ever deliberate, wished to know how this 'Ash God's Domain' functioned before he resumed his attack, and he performed a backward hop to distance himself at the edge of melee range. He saw something new in Nolan's hand: the glint of gold. Defeat creeped into his eyes.
"Oh, no."An ear-ringing shriek of true, profound terror swept across the arena, damaging the hearing of all present. In less than an instant, Xyster the Dullahan had gone from poised-to-kill to utterly broken, and her Jack Be Nimble, Underworld Emissary, Imhullu, and even Harvester all disintegrated as well. Having fallen over into the sand, Xyster scrambled madly on all fours to get away from Nolan, kicking up quantities of stinging grains in her panicked dash. Moving like the wind she regained her feet and darted across the arena, trying to get away from that awful, deadly yellow metal at all costs. Looking back, she tripped and tumbled into the arena wall, then plastered herself against it, too incredibly terrified to undertake any movement beyond a pitiful shaking. Her head lay in the sand, eyes screwed shut. There was nothing intimidating about her now; just a quivering mess.
Zander tightened his grip on his sword. He expected no quarter from his opponents; there was no time to try and bring his friend around.
Damn monster. This wasn't going to be pleasant.
He was lucky that whatever damage he took from Zander was so far minor bruises though he wouldn't get so lucky next time. He can't be careless with his opponents, especially if it was someone as strong as the knight. That thought was drowned out by a banshee scream that made Nolan's ears ring. He turned to see what the cause was and to his surprise it was Xyster, the dullahan that was so hell bent on beating them now had a broken spirit riddled with fear. She ran off as if the devil himself was chasing her, those green eyes once filled with blood lust were now replaced with panic. Just would've set her off so much?
Nolan glanced down at his sword, Sol, the golden blade glistened in the sunlight and then back to Xyster. Wait a minute, dullahans were weak to gold! No wonder she ran off such fright! The God Slayer sighed and the golden blade disappeared with a blue light.
"I didn't mean to frighten you Xyster, my apologize. Now please, fight or else my honor will forever be stained if I win like this." The overwhelming pressure faded, and with it the uncontrollable urge to flee. Still shaky, Xyster got to her feet, and picked up her head. Instead of joy or fear, her face now sported a look of resignation, one that remained as her body dusted it off. Finally, she piped up,
"Talk about unlucky! I guess it's good that I don't really care about honor or dignity, eh? A heart...a soul, even a life: I don't think I have those either. I don't have much, but I think I have what it takes to beat you." She didn't mention that she had a strategy for dealing with gold that would work very well against Nolan, now that she could see it coming. Of course, she'd planned to use that trump card eventually anyway.
Zander watched with tangible relief as Xyster summoned her Harvester, created the black armoring aura of Imhullu, and refreshed the green flow down her cheeks to restore the speed granted to her by Jack Be Nimble. Normally the Dullahan was unnerving, but with her various spells active and altering her appearance, she went from spooky to scary even to her own allies. As glad as he was to see her back in the fight, however, Zander felt that he couldn't rely on her one-hundred percent. He needed help he knew he could trust completely.
Lucky I came prepared. In a single, fluid series of motions, Zander tucked away his messer, stooped to grab his now-normal-sized ruby sword, and whipped a glowing brown lacrima from beneath his armor. He chucked the lacrima at the ground and leaped toward it as it burst calling,
"Buttons, to me!"When the light died down, the Ruby Knight sat astride a tall, brown horse, lightly armored in leather. He muttered,
"Ruby Knight's Alliance." and from his horse's leather armor sprouted a much more durable and protective ruby plate. On horseback, Zander's ruby sword was the perfect length and size, revealing it to be designed as a cavalry weapon. Clearly, Zander embodied battlefield cunning, perhaps more than Sanders himself. He spurred his horse and thundered toward the Phoenix Wing swordsmen, and Xyster raced forth from the opposite side.
Somehow he expected such a response to come from the dullahan and he was glad to hear it. He would rather cut off his own hand than defeat someone who couldn't fight at their full potential so honor or no honor, she was going to give it her all.
"Sorry, but I've got too much on the line to lose to you and ruby. My team, my guild, crazy idiots that I would've dismissed that won me over. They're expecting me to beat you two so as long as I have the will to stand then I will fight." God dammit, Damian's stupid speeches were starting to rub off on him.
Nolan watched as Xyster return into that horrifying form, becoming even more monstrous than she was before. He could only question just how in the hell Frenzy Plant was able to contain such a beast as herself though if he were to judge from what he saw from the match with Indigo and his current battle with Zander he could understand what how they could keep her on a leash.
He turned his attention towards Zander as soon as he threw a brown lacrima onto the ground, relasing a bright white light that the knight leaped towards yelling...Buttons? Did this man seriously just yell out 'Buttons, to me'? He didn't even question the sudden appearance of the horse. Hell he didn't even question why Xyster wasn't laughing her head off, figuratively speaking, at this stoic knight naming his horse Buttons.
"...I can't tell if I should find this funny or if I should feel bad for his poor choice of names." Nolan had just stood there, waiting for his time to strike. He returned Ares into the pocket dimension, leaving him with no weapon in his hands. There was something very important that the two Frenzy Plant mages had overlooked while they were so focused on attacking their opponents. The ashes that Nolan had used before were all still lying around on the ground. They had only accumulated with each spell he casted, turning the battlefield into Nolan's most dangerous weapon. With both hands he spun his fingers in the air, causing the ashes to rise and swirl into drill like projectiles. The God Slayer swung his hands through the air and the ashes flew towards the sides of Zander and Xyster. The ashes weren't spinning just for show. They were compact like highly compact sand and spun fast enough to act as real drills. Needless to say, it would be bad to get hurt by them.
The first ashen spiral came at Zander too swiftly for him to think of a magical counterattack. Confronted with a blur shooting toward him, which emitted as it flew a sound frighteningly comparable to an industrial saw's, the Ruby Knight quickly brought his sword up to block. One hand he kept on the hilt, and the other he placed closer to the tip for reinforcement, but it was his reflexes that kept the mad spiral from corkscrewing into him. Zander gritted his teeth, holding firm against the jarring impact and noise until he could push it off to the side to fly away. When the cacophony did not relent, he noticed with a surge of terror that another spiral had busied itself trying to penetrate through the forward piece of his beloved hors's ruby armor.
"Rgh!" He brought his sword back around, trusting that the spiral he'd deflected would have issues turning quickly, and leveled the point at the marauding ashes.
"Ruby Knight's Precious Prison."A moment later, the spiral fell into the sand with a
whoomp, frozen in a jagged shell of ruby. Two more scarlet beams shot out to stop other projectiles in their tracks, and for the moment the onslaught ceased. Zander cast a glance toward Xyster to determine her status and found the Dullahan dealing with about four at once, using her augmented speed to put out a flurry of scythe swipes and keep the spirals at bay.
"Corporal, they will not relent! Take down the source with Riot Lily!" Hearing him, Xyster nodded in response and blasted forward past the ashen spirals, headed straight for Nolan. Zander approached from the other side and aimed his ruby sword not at his opponent, but at points surrounding him in a roughly triangular formation.
"Ruby Knight's Precious Prison!" Three outcroppings of ruby sprouted up, and Xyster rushed up to and kicked off of the nearest one. In the air she began to spin, the blade of the Harvester whirling at high speed, and when she hit the sand she kept on going like an insane top. The tornado of steel zoomed past Nolan, almost certain to cut into him, but Xyster did not stop there. Now laughing uproariously, she ricocheted off the second ruby outcrop, and pinballed past Nolan against and straight into the third. In no time at all, the Ash God Slayer would find himself surronded on all sides by Xyster's ludicrous maneuver, and only then did Zander throw himself off his horse, blade pointed down ward and reading to impale that little circle of safety in the Riot Lily's center.
Joshua had been watching from the side lines ever since the clone he had been fighting vanished. At the time that it had, he had glanced around and seen Xyster cowering from something. When he listened to Nolan speak, he was glad to hear that his teammate had a sense of honor. Apparently, the blade had terrified the creature and with it gone, she could resume fighting. Well, at least no one could say they had won through cheap tactics, if they did manage to win this fight.
As Nolan fought their opponents, Joshua was filled equally with respect, for his teammate's power and their opponents' skill and coordination, and exasperation at the choice of name for the knight's horse. That horse should probably consider getting a new owner, the sooner the better. Shaking such thoughts out of his head, he saw Nolan getting in a pinch and his eyes narrowed as he saw the knight prepare for add something into the mix. Well, something had to be done about that, didn't it?
Joshua dismissed his adamantine katana and equiped a
. Taking a second to consider what was going on in front of him, Joshua swung the blade, creating several replicas made of pure magical energy, which he then fired at Zander, aiming to injure or distract the knight.
'Child's play,' the words that Zander had uttered with confidence earlier in the match when clashing blades with Nolan. The Ruby Knight, one of Frenzy Plant's generals, that had fought throught countless battles and hailed as the perfect soldier had probably taken back those words. Both him and Xyster were mages that came from a guild renowned for it's militaristic mindset and strategies, but now had fallen into Nolan's pace. The projectiles were relentless and certainly were aimed to kill his opponents. The God Slayer knew that his opponents were not holding back and that he would have to do the same. He couldn't hold back against S and and A-Class mages without giving it his all.
Michael
Michael indulged Prince a smile,
"No pawing, you'll be resting" He said, trying to sound cheerful. It wasn't long before they were at the dragon Fang hotel and Michael opened the door to his room. His bed had been made since the morning, the window as open slightly, and the room was bright, but nothing like his room back at the guild. He had fallen off the bed twice, having quickly got accustomed to his bed=floor.
Wanting to help, but letting Jarvis put Prince down, Michael went over to a jug of water, pouring a glass.
"Thank you" He said to Jarvis, giving the older man a shy smile,
"I hope Karn is okay, as well." Assuring Jarvis that all would be fine, Michael let him out.
Sashha
Giving Karn a pet, Sasha thought for a few moments, thinking of a way to reply to Trinity.
"Animals have a higher sense of hearing then us. In some ways, that makes them vulnerable to making attacks, particularly thoe that use magic. There is probably a way, some magic or charm that can prevent them being controlled like that again. Maybe Jarvis will have ann idea for a lacrima. Perhaps a negate one?" Sasha said thoughtfully.
"perhaps we can check the library here, later" She said as they walked.
Jamie
Jamie gave a sigh, listening as Jackie spoke.
"While that is reasonable, the girl doesn't seem to give a damn about family, unlike you. You needed dragon Fang, and I think if the girl remains here, it will become a prison, instead of the freedom you found it.
Frenzy plant is a more regimened guild, and would, I think, be more familiar then this, with their training. Perhaps they can rehabilitate her, and break through the training that has her aiming to kill you. The cuffs can work to keep her powers in check, and Frenzy plant rarely lets people escape.
As for handing her off to a guild we barely know, well, Jack, isn't that what you and fraquar were saying? Trusting other light guilds? Is it not imperative to learn to work together with those we may be forced to work with in a sticky situation? Sanders is not truly a harsh man, and we do need to be some sort of relationship with his guild.
But ultimately, Jackie, it is up to you."Se looked down at Amelia, and nodded
"Family should, but sometimes it can't be done, especially if Aria insists on killing Jackie. Sometimes we have to make a hard decision, to make the best one for everyone." her voice was slightly haunted, as she thought back on that day, long ago, when they had said goodbye to Antony. Of course, that hadn't truly ended in happiness, with Sam's death, but it had been the best decision for herself and Sam at the time.
Jamie sighed,
"But it is important for family to be together"Jessie
Jessie smiled at Ferris, unable to stop the thought that he was just so darn cute. She leaned one elbow on the table, cupping her chin in it and watching him. She glanced to the server, giving her a smile, letting Ferris choose.
"You might live to regret that choice, Ferris, but it should be quite an entertaining meal. But I think we best get it boxed up, there's there announcement for the first battle. Excuse me, miss? Can we get it to take away?"@hatakekuro@Zarkun@Roseletta@Joshua Tamashii@Silver Fox@CirusArvennicus
