No one expected it to turn out like this. Who would've thought that it would snow... in September? God was definitely screwing with everyone, especially the school. Burnswick Private Academy students were supposed to be coming in a week earlier to get settled in and complete different activities before classes started, only for the only road to the school to be completely covered in the icy white. Professors were scrambling to get things ready. There's was only enough food for a month at the school before the snowstorm and they were now low on supplies. Extra help would have to be hired to get students' bags to their rooms while they attended their first class. There wasn't even an opening speech from the Headmaster! The speech would be held at dinner instead, while 2-4th years went right to their homeroom and freshman went to a plan B freshmen orientation. It was a rather hectic start of the year indeed!

Melanie

Walking through the school in such an extenuating circumstances made her head spin. Melanie had brought in her three bags, squeaking as they were pedaled away by hired help. She continued on to year 3's hallway, goosebumps crawling up and down her arms under her navy blazer and a shortage of breath. There hadn't been time to look at the role list of who was in her class and that bugged her. If Gigi wasn't in her class... no no no, shut up! The girl straightened up, slapped her cheeks lightly, and readjusted her glasses. After preparing herself, she slipped on her emotionless expression and walked into her Homeroom. Only one or two students had already arrived, so she didn't bother greeting them. The podium in the front of the classroom read off their seats alphabetically, so she took her seat around the back.

This year... would she be able to do it? To... tell Gigi she was her friend?

Beryl

The albino sighed in relief, finally reaching the school through the surprise snow storm. Thank goodness for his parasol. He had used it to clear the snow in front of him, and making sure he didn't trip over anything. Seriously, he really needed a new pair of glasses that didn't accentuate his feminine looks. Handing his backpack and suitcase to the people waiting for students, he briskly started to walk to his homeroom class down the 3rd year's hallway. He had seen some of his fellow classmates as they tried to their best to reach the school, but he was pretty sure they hadn't noticed him with the white skin and hair fusing with white snow.

Entering the homeroom, he almost instantly noticed that there weren't many students yet. Thank goodness, no excess staring. Quickly finding his seat near the front, he sat at his chair and twiddled his thumbs, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone else in the room. This was his third year, and he seriously just wanted to start it off with no problems. Just peace, quiet, and no one to rebuke him.

"Get. Up. Now!" he yelled pulling off the covers for Ari who was still twisting and turning, as well as convince him to skip the first day of school. He clicked his tongue and went to the kitchen, making the last bowl of breakfast. The first one that came in was his sister Veren, who, of course, was only in her underwear and a thin tank top. Mackien groaned, shaking his head as he put a plate of his delicious breakfast casserole in front of her. "Can't you... I don't know, put on clothes?" he asked, turning around and now smiling sweetly at his little sister Romani. "Casserol? Ooooh~ I want one!" he laughs at her excitement and hands her a plate, already fixing one to give to his youngest sister Helina who came in while rubbing her eyes. "C-Can I..." she nods at the food and holds out her arms for a plate. He smiles and pats her on the head as he hands her a plate. His mom was the only one that wasn't in right now but he knew better than to wake her up. Mackien places a wrap over her plate and adds a sticky note on it, notifying her that it was her breakfast for the day. With that, he turned around to see Ari who had somehow managed to get out of the bed, get dressed, and all of that so quickly. "Have you eaten yet Makii~?" she asks, finishing her breakfast and putting it in the sink.

Mackien nods and takes off his apron. He was already ready for the day, his uniform on and three bobby pins stabbed into the right side of his hair. "Bye guys! Tell mom that I organized all those bills last night and put them on her desk!" with that, he waved goodbye and headed out with Ari behind him.

Once they get to school, they head over to the homeroom. Ari followed him all the way to his class before finally leaving "Makkiii~ I'll see you later!" she called out as she trotted over to her class. Mackien scratches his head, sighing as he enters the class. Why does she need to do that all of the time? She did that last year too.. However, that didn't matter anymore. Not many people had arrived yet but some that did came up to speak to him. He looked around the room and saw 2 people he had never really became acquainted with. Beryl and Melanie. He frowned a bit as he looked at Beryl's back. He had seen him around and he had a pretty face. An ideal target for Ari due to the fact that she had already seen him before. Poor guy. However, he put a smile on his face which didn't always make people feel welcomed somehow. "Morning Beryl!" he said, walking over to the guy. He looked over at Melanie and smiled at her too "Hey, nice to see you Melanie! You look pretty as always." he said, sincerely but he was never quite taken that way. Grabbing a chair swiftly and sitting next to Beryl. Hey, they hadn't spoken to each other before and what better chance then to do it on the first day of school? "How was your break?" he asked him, a grin on his face. For some reason, people were surprised when he came up to speak to them out of the blue. Some people actually wondered he knew their name. This never did sit well with him. But well, I can't wait for all the fun this year!

Unlike everyone else, Octavia welcomed the surprise snowfall. She loved the way it made the air still and quiet and how you could see your breath when the air got cold. What she loved the most, though, was how it is so relaxing and gave her all the more reason to snuggle up in a warm blanket and sleep the day away.

Octavia entered her homeroom and immediately took a seat in the back of the room, where the teacher couldn't see her sleeping. She opened up her sketch book and looked over some of the pictures she had been working on lately and the ones she had finished over break. She then glanced around the room at her classmates, seemingly indifferent, sighed, then stretched a bit, before resting her head on her desk and closed her eyes. In a matter of seconds, she was out like a light.

Today was going to be a loooong day and Octavia really didn't want any part of it.

Darian Green

"Bullseye!...Yeah, it was me. Do somethin'." The day hadn't even started in full and already Darian Green had managed to anger no less than ten students. She was slacking, surely, as that number seemed far too low given the circumstances and the present situation. The situation, of course, being the sudden and highly unusual snowfall that had caked the campus grounds in a fluffy sheet of white. Darian was not one to take such an invitation lightly. And what was a freak act of a pissed off Mother Nature if not an open invitation to do what any sane person would do.

Darian Green had fastened her backpack - empty as it was - into something resembling a quiver, or perhaps a holster...whatever the name it currently held not books or papers or anything other than spherical white objects. Her hand dipped into the bag, fingers curling around one of the perfect white orbs, and with a sneer as some confused Freshman was looking at their map and debating whether or not to ask someone for help...Darian let loose. The snowball whipped through the air like a baseball and SMACK hit the poor kid dead on in the face, causing her to drop the map she held and, bonus, dropping her straight on her ass. Darian didn't look to see if the impact had broken the girl's glasses but she heard sniffles and assumed that to be the case.

Triple bonus.

Her next target wasn't a person so much as it was a potential vandalism charge. One ball was thrown towards a window, hitting it with a loud thud. A second soon followed. By the time the fourth hit the window, Darian heard the cracking. A solid fifth strike would shatter that window and utterly ruin some maintenance guy's day. But it was just a bit too early for broken windows. That would come later, by her own hand or by the casual idiocy of someone poking at the cracked glass as they glanced out towards the snow. For now, Darian had other plans. And said plans were to continue tossing snowballs at the students whose only crime was trying to enter the school building properly.

"Stop cryin', it's just snow!" Her taunting voice lingered as she tossed yet another snowball at the former map reading Freshman. An easy target, sure, but some other would come along in short time.

Alex

Walking to school in snow was difficult enough. Having to walk Sadie made it even harder. He was walking her to school because the family cars were not going anywhere with this snow and her school was on the way to his, "Why is it so cold, brr."

"You know no one actually says brr when they're cold, and it's cold because it's snowing mainly due to low temperatures and science junk like that." At his answer Sadie stuck her tongue out at him. After a few moments, "Why do you have to go to that school again. It's bad enough Ollie goes to university, but it feels like your gone all the time to."

"Hey, don't worry. When you get to my age you'll be going there. It's the best school in the area. Ain't my fault staying at the dorms is mandatory."

"You just wanna go there because of Gigi."

"Shut it squirt. We're here at your school. See ya later." Walking to school in the snow was an extreme high level of joy for Alex. He loved the snow and there weren't cars making noises and not many people out period. He took his time walking not really caring if he was late.

He arrived at the front of the school and the first thing he saw was Darian being a pest. He watched her constantly hit the window with the snowballs while walking over to the crying girl she had hit earlier. He was in the process of kneeling beside her when he got smacked in the face with a snowball. He thought to himself, *This is going to be a long year*.

Last day of the previous year...

"If you don't mind me asking, Headmaster, did I do something wrong?" The young, ash-blonde girl twiddled with her fingers as she waited patiently for the head of the school to explain this sudden meeting. Her summer was so close, yet there was something up that needed her to be here. Was he getting upset at her bad math grades? Paranoia began to build up in the tiny girl as she waited to get the scolding of her life. The older man sat up straight and pushed his glasses inward. His eyes leered over the darling girl, who was one of Burnswick Private Academy's role models. Clearing his throat, the man pried into the student's life, "Ms. Young, it seems that there are rumors going around the school about you and Mr. Ackerson." Rumors? The girl confusingly stared at the Headmaster, not saying a word until he gave her permission to talk. He continued, "You are by far one of the most honorable students we have here at Burnswick. I'd trust you wouldn't lie to me, if the rumors were true."

"I wouldn't lie to you ever, Sir." Gigi seriously wanted him to cut to the chase. Her nerves were making her stomach churn. Her sea green eyes watched his hand as it scribbled something on a piece a paper, he chuckled, "I'm sure if it were true, your father wouldn't be happy!" Biting her bottom lip, the young teen just wanted to die. The matter seemed serious. Clasping his hands together, he leaned in and gradually asked, "You wouldn't be dating Mr. Ackerson, would you?" Mouth dropping, Gigi couldn't believe what her ears were hearing, "Uh, no sir... we're not dating I-"

"You two are some of the more... influential kids of your year. I do trust you're telling the truth. However, with such rumors going around, I do think you should distance yourself from him or show your peers how a lady should act, Ms. Young. His reputation precedes him, which is never a good thing in the halls of my school." The Headmaster was manipulating her best friend to be some kind of criminal. Maki didn't deserve this judgement, but she knew her friend would not want her to start a scene with the one guy that could expel her. Rather than argue, she agreed in defeat, "Okay, Sir. I'll see what I can do."

"That's all I ask of you. Now, you're free to go. Have a great summer!" Getting up, Gigi walked to the door, the deep feeling in her gut not having left. Before she opened it, the headmaster suggestively said one last thing, "Oh! Ms. Young! I do hope you run for a Student Council postion, I think you'd make a fine leader one day." With that, the girl left contemplating the incident that had just unfolded.
~

Gigi spent her summer working and avoiding Mackien, while she tried to evaluate their relationship. She rarely slept and her fathers had to remind her to eat.
~

(Oh my goodness! These dark circles are going to be THE DEATH OF ME.) Putting foundation on under her eyes, the young girl tried to cover up her lack of sleep summer with cover up.

"Baby! Your dad is gonna give me hell if you aren't out this door in five minutes. The roads are atrocious. Thank god James sent your luggage a day early." Virgil waited at the door for his daughter with her last packed lunch until she came back home from vacation and a bag filled with chocolate banana oatmeal muffins and small cinnamon roll cakes. Both suitable as a breakfast dessert. Speeding downstairs with snowboots (her school shoes packed in her backpack), and a warm coat, she grabbed her lunch, kissed her father's cheek, "I love you papa! I'll call you when I get the chance~" and carefully made her way down the porch stairs. Luckily for her, her parents only lived two blocks from the school. Her papa had offered to take her but she felt like it was safer to walk to school. The brisk air made Gigi's cheeks pink as she trudged in the unexpected snow.

Making it to school in twelve minutes rather than her usual six minutes, without busting her ass, Gigi told the men at the front her things were already here. Taking a deep breath in, she exhaled, "Here at last!" The coldness made her forget temporary of the all nighter she pulled recently. Catching her breath, she opened her bag of treats and grinned.

@Fabricant451
The shattering of glass was heard. Gigi jumped, a bit startled. She noticed... Darien, throwing snowballs at students not only at windows but at the new freshmen. Approaching cautiously, but aiming to not stay there too long, Gigi took out a clear side gusset gift bag (which was inside her larger treat bag) that held both desserts. She had made individual baggies for her classmates so it would be easier to distribute, it was tied with white ribbon that had rainbow polka dots.

"G-Good morning, Darien! It's a bit... cold outside." She really didn't want to be verbally attacked by this girl so she quickly handed her the treats and politely bowed, "I hope you come to school today, it would be nice to see if we shared a class together! Um... Maybe... Maybe it's best if you..." She wanted to say stop bullying the freshmen but instead, Gigi blurted out, "Come inside! You'll catch a cold. OkByeSeeYouLater." The tiny girl literally bolted inside, not waiting for a response. Unbeknownst, Gigi scurried passed snowball face Alex (@alexfangtalon). Her scent of sweet pea perfume in the air.

She may have also almost slipped on ice. Why was Darien so intimidating?

Going to the girls' locker room in the gym and taking her snowboots off, Gigi placed all her unneeded belongings in a locker she has claimed since freshmen year. She didn't have time to go to her dorm room, so the gym locker would do just fine. No longer with her coat or snowboots, she took out a lock and placed it on the locker, closing it nice and tightly. NOW, she was ready to find her homeroom. Gigi was excited to see who was in her class this year! (Maybe Melon Drop~ that would be so awesome!)

@AimeChambers@RiverMaiden@sakurasan@Ace of flames01
Entering her homeroom, the first person she noticed was indeed her Melon Drop! With her backpack on her back, her treat bag in her left hand, Gigi waved with her free hand at her darling friend, sticking out her tongue in a cutesy manner to her. Going to the podium, before she looked at the seating chart, the young girl bowed once more, knowing very well not everyone was here.

Talking in front of a class was less intimidating than talking in front of the entire school body.

With a chirpy (I didn't sleep for days) loud voice, most likely waking up the sleeping person in the back, Gigi exclaimed, "Morning everyone! I brought chocolate banana oatmeal muffins and small cinnamon roll cakes for you guys. I didn't know what the entire class would like as a whole, so I just made two treats! I hope we have a great year together~" Her stare met with the albino's eyes...

(Is that Beryl? The person Mr. Snyder suggested...?) Her wide eyes lingered on his...her...face intently, contemplating their appearance and unable to determine it. Gigi's heart sank when she saw Maki talking to him.

(Why... Why is he in here?) Peering down at the seating chart, she caught sight of where she sat: back and center, oh nice. Trying to not make things awkward, she went to Beryl's desk first. She handed both her best friend and the albino a baggie. Giving her best friend a smile, to hide her inner conflict, she then asked the kid she didn't know, if he...her...they were indeed the kid her teacher told her about, "Are you Beryl? If you are, I was wondering if we could talk after class... it's about..."

(Make something up, everyone's listening...)

"The homecoming event! I want to wait until after class, I'm simply delivering a message from, um, a teacher." She lied, but her smile never wavered. The popular girl waited patiently for a response.

Matt woke up and prepared for the snowy school morning that awaited him. You'd be surprise how productive he was while playing a video game early in the morning half awake. He left his home his eyes glued to the latest release of a dungeons and dragons type of game. Matt was dressed for the cold weather to begin with but looked as if the cold had little to no effect on him. It was odd too, his eyes never left the small screen of his PSP and he manage to not bunp into anything as he walked. Matt was truly in try hard mode in both the game and walking to school without any interruptions. After all a friend of his bet him he couldn't complete the game within a week so every single minute he looked away from the game was time lost.

He was a true expert at what he does and the snowy weather can suck a corn dog if it thinks it can stop Matt from playing his video game. When he arrived on school grounds he paused his game and shoved it into his pocket. The last thing he needs is someone wrecking his shit and his game getting ruined because of it. That crossed his mind as he quickly passed by Darian and entered the school. He wasn't scared of her but more terrified of being caught off gaurd when she plans to offend him. Word wise Matt believes he got her in that category but she's spontaneous so Matt doesn't know what to exactly plan for when it comes to her. Matt will have to keep notes on the barbarian later for now he has to get to class.

It didn't take him long to find his homeroom and enter it suspiciously looking around as he entered as if he was about to cross a mine field or make one wrong move and be shot down where he stood. He arrived a little bit after Gigi left the podium and used the brief absence to check the seating chart. Matt went to his seat and sat down looking around the classroom once again. Since he was a bit quick to check the seating arrangements he wasn't aware who he sat next to the poor sap. To kill time he pulled out a manga called Fruit Basket. He usually doesn't read reverse harem manga but this one had really caught his attention. From time to time he'd quickly glance in Berly's direction. I'm pretty sure some will know why. It's obvious by how cute she is.

Lena was rather caught off guard this morning. Not only by the sudden snow but also the text from a fellow club captain. Apparently due to the sudden snow storm had left the school under staffed and several club captains were asked to come in early to help. Upon reading the message she gave a rather heavy sigh, not really wanting to leave this early. She wasn't even able to fully prepare; Luckily she sent most of her things early like some students. The unlucky portion was that most, if not all, of her winter clothes was with her luggage. It was certainly going to be a chilly morning.

Pushing herself out of bed she quickly showered, making sure the water was extra hot to combat the coming cold. She brushed her hair before putting the top half in a ponytail excluding her bangs. Checking herself over once more to make sure she was happy with her hair she then left to get ready. She stared at the school uniform laying on her bed. She hated it. Stupid skirts! Why can't girls wear slacks? It doesn't make sense! She always felt uncomfortable in skirts or dresses despite her definitely more girly alter ego.

She sighed in defeat, she had already fought all her freshman year to get slacks for girls approved. It was no use. So she simply got dressed, brushing away any wrinkles. She hurried down the stares, her sock covered feet padding faintly against the wood. Hearing the sound caught her fathers attention, looking up from the news paper and taking a sip of his coffee. His brow raised curiously, unsure why Lena was up and ready so early. One thing Donnie knew was Lena always waited til the last moment before she put on her uniform.

"Why, don't you look adorable." Donnie teased his daughter after swallowing his sip and setting the mug down. "How come you're up so early?"

Lena's cheeks turned a shade of red at her fathers teasing about her attire. She looked around for something to throw. Finding a canned soda she tossed it at Donnie rather violently. Though he seemed to catch it with rather ease. "Don't tease me old man!" She threatened emptily, Donnie simply laughed it off. "As you probably didn't notice, it's snowing out. So I was asked to come in early to help out the staff." Lena stated simply.

Donnie then suddenly frowned a little. "Why are you upset?" Lena asked curiously.

Donnie waved dismissively. "No, it's nothing." He forced a smile. "Here, come give you dad a hug, huh?" He stood up, out stretching his arms.

Lena regained her light blush, she knew her father was teasing her again. He knew she hated showing her feminine and affectionate side. But it was her daddy... She stuttered herself over to him, wrapping her arms around him and giving him a loving squeeze; Donnie returning the hug happily.

"Love you Lena. Enjoy your year." He stated softly and sincerely, one of few moments he wasn't joking around. Lena simply nodding her love for him into his chest. The hug was then released and she hurry off, giving a wave after she put on her shoes and leaving the house.

As the door closed behind her a swift gust of cold air swept across her, Marilyn Monroe'ing her skirt up and giving a girly squeal of terror. Her worst nightmare when she first heard this school was uniform enforced. She quickly pushed it back down, burning red cheeks shifting from side to side; looking to see if anyone saw. She was relieved to find no one in sight.

-----

-----

Lena shivered a bit as she walked back into the hallway, having just finished bringing the last bit of luggage to its dorm room. She quickly brushed snow off her uniform, a few wet spots left behind on her clothes from the running around all morning. She sighed glumly as she looked at herself, she was a mess. This was not how she wanted her first day to be. She quickly used her fingers to brush her hair to the best of her ability. Once satisfied she made her way to Homeroom, sadly one of the few stragglers. Not a wonderful example the Boxing club Captain to exude.

Without a word she checked the seating chart. Spotting her name rather quickly she went around without looking around. Taking her seat with a defeated hunch in her back. She sat there for a bit before actually taking a look to see who all was in her class. Nothing we too surprising until she looked directly to her right, finding Gigi sitting right next to her. Her eyes went wide with shock, her cheeks changing to a soft pink color and a flurry of heart beats fluttering in her chest.

'Oh my god! No!! Not her! She's so cute! And she is so close! If I just reached out I could snuggle her and pinch those cute cheeks! This isn't fair! Why do this to me God!? I am a good person, right!?' She thought frantically. She then quickly hid her face in her hands. 'Calm down Lena! She's just cute is all! You can do this Lena! You're a strong girl! You won't be done in by a cute girl!'

Heavy, dark and loud, music beat inside of the small shop, making some of the benches closer to the stereo vibrate with the heavy bass drum. In the middle of a large guitar solo, a wrench fell from one of the benches and a young blonde reached over to grab it. Thankfully she needed it anyway if she was going to ride to school that morning. It wasn't very often that they got a surprise snowfall this early in the year, but she was always ready with snow tires and chains regardless of how cold it was. She loved her motorcycle, and she'd be damned if she wasn't riding it in the winter too. Just as she was adjusting the tire on it's stud, the music suddenly stopped and she looked up to see her father leaning against the bench, shirtless and clearly just out of bed. That man could sleep through anything - as long as it wasn't dangerous.

She looked up and over at him, watching the handsome male for a moment before his lips turned up in a smirk and he laughed quietly, apparently amused to find his daughter working in the shop so early in the day. The blonde shook her head and stood, letting the motorcycle off its jack, it landing perfectly still. She would probably spend a lot of time working on it and anything else left in the autoshop at school this year, since her officer had commanded that she go back for another year. Mandatory dormitories were always a pain, she could handle the uniform without a problem, but when the rooms aren't always soundproofed it's hard to get done with people knocking on your door.

With a flick of the dark haired mans wrist, he motioned to where the last of her things were sitting in her saddlebags, a brown paper bag folded around a large wad of cash. He never sent her anywhere without the money she would need to escape trouble - and possibly the country - in case any of his rivals came for her too. Not that she couldn't fight, he just preferred to know she was safe. "You know I can handle anything they throw at me." She said to him, though when he shrugged and pat her on the shoulder she knew he was worried about her going off by herself. She had refused his offer of a ride to school, and declined a bodyguard, though she allowed him to have people watch the school in case something happened. "I'll call you every night okay? I'll be safe at a boarding school, no one gets in without approval." He grunted in response, clearly not trusting himself to talk right now.

The school was on the other side of the city from where their shop was, but the plows had managed to get most of the main roads cleared off before morning traffic, thankfully. The small black and red bike weaved through traffic, cutting off slow drivers and annoying the locals. People thought she was crazy for still riding it this late into the season, but as heavily modified as it was, it could handle a little bit of snow. She was going to be late because of snow and traffic, but she was never really one to care how late she was. If she missed a class oh well, it was more fun getting high and having sex anyway. Besides, there was probably no one interesting in her class regardless. Turning the last corner she skid into the parking lot of the school and took a sharp turn into the garage. Leaving her saddle bags there she adjusted the skirt of her uniform so that it was a tad too short, showing off her long and smooth legs.

Walking into the school through the back entrance of the garage she walked through the empty halls, hips swaying sensually, her tie loose and an extra button undone at the top of her blouse. A faint outline of her bra was visible through the white shirt, double D breasts barely confined by her shirt. Unfortunately her custom uniform was still in the works, and she was wearing the largest size they could provide her with that would fit. She had changed from her combat boots to the uniform shoes, though she wasn't wearing the stockings, leaving the Ouroboros Tattoo on her thigh partially visible and the tangle of serpents on her left calf entirely visible. She was proud of her tattoos, and quite enjoys the stares of awe, sexual desire, and fear she got from the other students around her.

When she walked into the classroom she had just beat the 8:15 bell to signal the beginning of class, though she didn't rush as she looked around to see who it was that had made it before her. The hot 'Playboy' was here surprisingly in the same class as her, and a few others she had seen around somewhere, Matthew was here. Her naturally violet eyes trailed around the room until she noticed a seating plan on the front board, a single name striking out at her. "Shit." Darien was in the same class as her.

Darian Green

LAST YEAR, FINAL DAY OF THE TERM

"Darian, hello, glad you could make it."

Darian didn't understand why she always had to say that. Every time Darian showed up she was met with that greeting, as if it was some kind of ordeal for her to make the journey from her room to the counselor's office in the main school building. If anything it was an annoyance more than anything else but an annoyance that prevented an unwelcome guest from knocking on her door. If there was one thing Darian hated, and that was a lengthy list as is, it was adults dropping by and throwing a wrench into every single gear possible. Still, Darian had come to...not enjoy but accept that part of her curriculum in the Academy was to spend an hour or so every other day talking to someone who couldn't quite make it as a legitimate therapist and so takes a teacher's salary.

Her bleached hair was fashioned into a bun and despite it being the final day of school for the term, Darian wasn't in uniform as she entered the counselor's office. The office was familiar to the dark skinned student, serving as something similar to a constant in her school life. Various inspirational photos hung on the walls with a diploma tossed into the mix. Darian's eyes were always drawn to the clock even as she took a seat on the couch propped against the right wall; of course the delinquent propped her boots onto the arm, tracking mud into the off color stain on the armrest.

"Ms. Green, your attendance this term was...lackluster. You spent more time in detention then you did in class and I'm told the janitors were threatening to quit after your little...food disposal event."

"You mean the food fight? The classroom still smells like spoiled milk." Darian spoke with pride, tossing in a curt chuckle as she recounted the events in her head. She had been hoarding milk cartons in her room for months just to ensure they were perfect for the changing of the seasons. Old milk being tossed around in the middle of the warm season was not a welcome scent for the unfortunate people that were part of the event. Darian thought it was hilarious, though.

"You've skated by this term when it comes to academics. Surprisingly you set the curve in biology and were...second overall in history...barring your literature grade - you'll have to repeat that next year - you only just managed to move up a year. But unfortunately I don't believe our sessions have had any impact on you. I know you'd prefer to have an elective, what student wouldn't, but honestly I'm not sure you HAVE any electives you'd genuinely enjoy participating in...so come next term our sessions will continue."

"I'm jumpin' for joy."

"Ms. Green, you should really consider taking your education seriously. I'd like to give you some goals to work on come next term. You can get started on them over break. Number One, I'd like you to make friends...or at least try to be more...sociable. Number Two, I'd strongly consider that YOU consider joining a club next year. Clubs are a great way to meet friends and form connections that you can only get at a place like this. Number Three...please treat the rest of your classes with the same level of attendance and care as you treat your biology classes. You have so much potential, Ms. Green, and you're throwing it all away."

Darian had heard the spiel about potential so many times that she was silently mouthing the phrase right along with the counselor. Darian made no promises of any sort, responding with vague replies and rude deflections until their scheduled time was up. Before Darian left she hung in the doorway, turning her head to glance back at her best friend on staff. "See you next term."

Never had those words sounded so devilish.

PRESENT DAY

"FUCKIN' NERD!" Darian shouted towards Alex as her snowball wound up hitting him rather than the Freshman it was intended for. "She's not gonna fuck you for takin' a snowball for her." Darian continued to mock the boy while laughing to herself at the incident. Her laughter lingered just long enough for someone she didn't expect to find in front of her.

The girl in front of Darian went by Gigi and she was the first person Darian thought of when she thought of the word 'goody-twoshoes' which, shockingly, was a term she thought of fairly often and rarely for good reason. Darian accepted the bag with a clicking of her mouth. "...Fuck is this?" Darian asked under her breath and was going to ask for a response directly from the horse's mouth but when she glanced back, Gigi had already vanished inside, no doubt on her way to be the good little academic darling.

Darian opened the bag, noticing the muffin and the cinnamon roll cakes contained within. Wiping snow on her jeans - Darian was wearing not the school uniform but instead an old pair of rather tight jeans and a dark blue shirt with a music label logo across the chest - she grabbed one of the cakes and, after giving it a curious sniff, she took a bite. Just a single bite, big enough to get a taste but small enough to not simply inhale the thing in one go. After swallowing the initial bite, she crushed the cake in her palm and tossed the flakey, cinnamon treat onto the snow. She did the same for the other cinnamon cakes, squeezing them until they were utterly smashed and looking as if they had been stomped on, before tossing them onto the floor.

She did, however, keep the muffin intact.

Coming as surely a surprise to those already in the room, Darian opened the door to her assigned class, still not wearing the uniform and snow caked on her boots and dripping off of her all the same. Her right hand was thrust into the pocket of her jeans while her left had Gigi's pastry bag dangling from her fingers. Her eyes scanned the room until they passed by the familiar figure that was Roza. "Fuckin' perfect."

After taking note of the seating chart...and then promptly ignoring it as she sat down in the desk assigned to Alex...though not before playfully kissing her lips as she glanced towards Gigi, Lena, and even Melanie; propping her wet, snowy boots on top of the desk itself, she placed the baked muffin onto Roza's desk with a little amount of force, though not enough to make the pastry crumble.

"Baked you somethin'," Darian boldly lied, "I know how much you liked my...muffin." Darian followed up her rather crude entendre by cackling as if she had made the most hilarious remark possible.

"Pssh, fuckin' Ghoul Kid's in this class? I gotta look at this pale ass-creep all year? Fuck right outta here."

That she was currently seated in Alex's desk didn't seem to enter into her mind. Instead, she was simply leaning back, cackling to herself.

Alex

Alex just sighed at Darian's comment. He looked to the freshmen and said, "Don't worry about her. Just don't go near her and you'll probably be fine. She's rarely at school anyway." He helped the girl up and showed her on the map how to get where she wanted to go. He turned away from her and could smell a familiar scent. From having worked with Gigi so often he could recognize it fairly well.

He walked into the school and knocked the snow off his shoes at the entrance before continuing to his homeroom. The bell rang before he got there, but it didn't really matter to him. Homeroom seemed a little pointless to him anyway. He sneaked in the back looking down and sat beside Octavia hoping the teacher wouldn't call him out for being in the wrong seat. He just didn't want to go to the front and look at the seating chart. He didn't care who he shared homeroom with until he heard the easily recognizable voice of Darian. He groaned and looked up noticing that not just Darian but Roza was also in his class. Then he saw Melanie, Lena, and Matt towards the back. He looked to the front and also saw Mackien, Beryl, and Gigi. In his mind he was already running through the many problems that could occur with this group and thought, *This is going to be a REALLY long year.*

Melanie

Melanie looked over to see the albino, a flicker of a smile when she saw Beryl. Good... that meant there was at least one productive student in class. A slight frown slipped on to her face as Mackien walked over to him, that guy sure was distracting... As soon as Mackien tried to say something to her, she turned quickly, doing her best not to show him anything she was feeling. Luckily, he didn't continue talking to her, but to Beryl.

Gigi was here! She kept her right hand down with her left instead of waving back. Her food was just to die for and the girl had found out about her sweet tooth... eh, she'd have to be careful this year.

Melanie slipped a book on conceptual physics out of her bag. It was better to get everything memorized first so she could spend time in her dorm reading...

Now that Melanie thought about it, the snow probably had made everyone uncomfortable. Her legs had been freezing outside, and the foot lockers were a wet mess. It was a hope that the snow hadn't ruined her shoes, she hadn't gotten a chance to get a pair of boots yet.

S-She! That girl that always had rumors about her, Roza Krasnoff came into the room... with her shirt seemingly not covering anything. It was all Melanie could do not to blush up to her ears, she hid her face in her book. Those tattoos had to be against the dress code and... and... w-whatever, she didn't care or anything.

This was going to be an exhausting day. Darian had just come into homeroom not in her uniform, her shoes dragging in snow. She had taken that Boy Alex Hill's seat and gotten it covered in dirty snow. The language, the swearing...

She... said that Gigi's muffin was hers... Melanie stood up quickly and walked over to Dar- Alex's seat.

"Darian, coming to school without being in uniform is against school policy. Your snowy boots are a hazard, a student could slip and break their skull open." Melanie crossed her arms in front of her chest, a hand adjusting her glasses.

Try me.

Beryl
---

Beryl started to sweat, the cold air chilling his spine and he started to breathe a smidgen faster. Oh God, why in the world was Makien, the most popular guy in school, actually talking to him now? Makien had completely ignored him last year, so what had changed? 'Please don't tell me that he's... "interested"', Beryl thought with a slight shudder. It had happened before, guys who weren't from school would ask him out while he walked around. He always declined, but it was really hard to do so without his brother's help. They were always so pushy...

Clearing his throat, trying to keep down the anxiety that was rising up inside of him, he turned in his seat and replied to the red-headed teen. "I-I was fine...", he said to his peer softly, his voice just barely being heard by the popular boy, but completely incomprehensible. His eyes were darting around, trying to focus on Makien's face in order to see his reaction. Was his response enough?

Beryl wouldn't know, because not even a second after he gave his weak response, the other popular student walked up to them. Oh why, oh why, oh why. Did God hate him or something? He was internally screaming right now, wanting to hide under a rock somewhere and die. Outside, however, he was as cool as a cucumber, only a increased rate of perspiration was a indication of his discomfort. Then he heard what she was asking, and would have bolted from the classroom if it wasn't as rude as it would have been.

"...C-... C-Could you... repeat that?" he sounded out in disbelief, his high pitched, feminine voice actually at it's normal volume in the wake of his surprise. The moment he understood what he just did, he wanted to kick himself. Hard. What in the world did he just do?!? He just talked! With his normal voice! There is absolutely no way anyone who had thought he was a girl could ever change their opinions now. Two years of pissing off classmates and teachers, all wasted in a single sentence. He couldn't help it, he was just so deep in disbelief. Why did BOTH of the popular teens want to talk to him all of the sudden? He was going to get crucified! Could his life get any worse?!? Then, the unthinkable happened. From the corner of his periphery, he sees Darian come through the front door. Darian.

'...I think I feel faint...' This was going to be the worst school year in the history of school years. Some way, some how, he had pissed off God. This is was punishment.

Once Darian entered the class Matt immediately closed his manga and took a deep breath. He quickly glanced in her direction and then looked back at his desk. "God damn it. What is this!? Did the faculty plan to have a mass murder on their hand or something..." Matt whispered to himself as he looked at all the possible psychopaths that will come from the little classroom. He especially looked at Darian making sure he wasn't caught looking at her. She was obviously a basket case. Matt rested his head on his desk exhaling and restraining himself from searching for a banana and stabbing a certain loud mouth person in the throat. Matt chuckled at the thought of, death by potassium. Look when you have little to no friends stuff like this happens to you so don't judge him. Matt doesn't see how Roza dated her but he isn't her so he shrugged and reverted his attention to Berly. He gritted his teeth as he heard Darian speak poorly of her. If Matt was more sure about how'd he do in a fight she'd be catching his hands instantly. Luckily Berly handled the situation before Matt stepped in...well he wasn't but think of what would happen if he did. The brave hero steps in and protects the beautiful damsel in distress from the mischievous female Bowser! Lost in his thoughts Matt unconsciously whispered. "Fuck you Goomba." Outside of his daydreaming mind he was leaned back in his seat in starring at the ceiling with a big smile on his face.

Mackien scratched the back of his head, a somewhat puzzled look on his face. This was a guy, right? The only ones that usually got thus nervous when he spoke to them were girls. Wait, nope. Guys did it too from time to time. But… Yea no. Ari was never wrong about genders. And he meant never. Not even when a guy was cross dressing pretty convincingly. He smiled at the boy and began to speak. “That’s great. My bad, my bad, didn’t mean to suddenly impose on you.” He said kindly, leaning back in his chair. Soon, he looked up once he heard a voice he recognized. “Gigi! I missed you! I didn’t get to see you pretty much the entire summer!” He said, a cheerful smile now on his face. He then shut up so that she could ask Beryl what she wanted to ask him. She looked like she was lying to Mackien but oh well. He wondered what happened over the summer but since he could see her now, he just let it go.

Then, Darien walked in. Shit. Darien? He heard her say some rude things and shot her a glare but since Beryl didn't seem like he heard, he wasn't about to make a scene and cause Beryl to walk away. Darien was once of the girls that Mackien really had to bite his lip not to talk shit about. She probably had a good side but she did a darn good job at hiding it. To put it simply, she's a bitch. Mackien isn't a fan of her while Ari finds her entertaining and funny to watch. He sighed and turned back the Beryl and Gigi, waiting for someone to start talking again.

Interacting with: Beryl @RiverMaiden, Mackien @sakurasan

Observing the situation as more students strolled into the room, Gigi could see an uneasy expression on Beryl's face. Taking matters into her own hand, she pulled the shy student up and said, "Lets go to the bathroom together! I can talk to you while we walk~" Not knowing what gender this person was, the sweet girl tried to think of an easy temporary escape, for both of them. She was worried he/she would pass out from all the strong personalities in the room but at the same time, she needed to clear her mind (avoid Maki). Her best friend had expressed how he missed her and she couldn't help but tense up. The baker was a piss poor liar when it came to her friends (not so much strangers and authority figures), "Mm. Sorry! Stealing your new friend now." Her smile was weak, as she avoided eye contact with him. And with that, she held onto the coat cuff of Beryl's jacket and left the room to go to a water fountain, which wasn't too far from the classroom. After having left the treats on Beryl's desk and leaving the room, she let go of his cuff and walked in silence for a moment.

As they walked, their homeroom teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth Castro, a tiny, voluptuous woman, was making her way to the room, "Oh! Genevieve and you must be Beryl, I've heard so much about you from Mr. Snyder!! I'm glad you guys already made friends with each other. May I ask where you two are going?" The older woman's eyes were soft and her smile warmed her students' hearts. The teacher also knew Gigi from homeroom freshmen year, so this made the baker feel a little better about this school year.

"I feel a little faint, Mrs. Castro. Beryl is going to get water with me." The rolemodel had selective lying skills, she was great at lying to a teacher to make a situation better but couldn't fake her emotions to her best friend.

"Do you need to go to the nurse? I can write a slip!" the homeroom teacher worryingly asked.

"Oh no, I'll be fine! Plus, I wouldn't miss my first day of classes for anything!"

The teacher gave a playful eye roll and checked the time, "A good student as always, just don't forget to take care of yourself. You won't retain much if you're feeling under the weather. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll see you guys when you return." Watching the teacher saunter away with her plump bottom, Gigi nodded to herself and once again, her and the shy kid went to walk to the fountain by the bathrooms.

When they finally arrived, the girl bowed down apologetic, I'm so sorry for dragging you out here! I just couldn't help but notice you look... unwell. Um, also, about earlier... the homecoming thing was a lie... I actually want to ask you something else." Burnswick's sweetheart bit her lip and revealed an expression not many people see often, a genuine nervous and scared face. Looking down at her feet, she tried to gain the courage to ask Beryl a simple question. Without a doubt, this would seem like a confession. Grabbing the ends of her skirt, she stuttered, "I-I was... wondering... um..." Her voice trailed off. Why was she so scared to ask for help? Perhaps because she rarely ever asked for help, not wanting to burden anyone with her problems.

Unfortunately, this was a dire situation. She NEEDED to get at least a B in math class! Her daddy was so upset last year when he had to sign her bad tests...

"C-can you...and me..." Just do it. Stop prolonging the inevitable! Her eyes got a little teary eyed with the thought of revealing her flaws. Realizing her backpack was still on her back, she quickly took it off and grabbed a white binder out. Taking a deep breath in, she opened the binder and brought it close to Beryl, revealing an F math test from last year in the left pouch (at the top had James Young's signature).

"I really, really, REALLY need help. I barely survived last year! Mr. Snyder told me you were one of his star students." Closing her binder, she bowed once more, "Please Beryl! I beg of you. I know we just met, but-but I can repay you. Money, treats, or even convincing Mrs. Castro to switch seats!" She blurted out the last part, not realizing by doing that she would have to sit next to Maki. Even so, she knew the influence she had on the staff and was positive she could make it happen. A sacrifice to make for the sake of getting a good grade...

Darian Green

Multiple things happened all within a short span of each other. Baker Girl and Ghoul Kid took off running, probably so Ghoul Kid could go and have a little cry - why else would their eyes be red if not because they were so easily offended by harmless, in Darian's mind anyway, words. Isn't that what people did to each other? Rib on one another, crack jokes at the expense of one another? Darian had often referred to Roza as 'Tit Bitch' but she meant it as a sign of affection...at least for as long as they were hooking up, anyway. Sure, Darian didn't exactly think highly of the 'Ghoul Kid' but she also didn't think that her words really had any effect at all. So if Ghoul Kid was off to go have a cry or whatever Goodie Goodie Gigi Gumdrops had in mind...well to Darian that was simply a sign that the kid was even softer than his skin looked.

But of course, her attention wasn't on Ghoul Kid for long, and the real travesty was that her attention wasn't on Roza for as long as she would never admit to wanting either...because she was suddenly set upon by the girl who was said to be nearly as cold as the snow cascading off of Darian's boots. Melanie might've been an Ice Queen, but for all intents and purposes in this little chat they were having...Darian was going to be Queen Bitch.

"Awww, what are you, the disciplinary committee? Gonna get all pissy because your precious rules are as stupid as those shitass geek books that nerd reads?" Darian meant Matthew, of course, but she didn't exactly specify. "You got Hot Tits over here practically walkin' around in her bra and you're gonna get snippy with me?" Darian inclined her head towards Roza as she spoke, adding a scoff to serve as punctuation.

Regarding the comment of her snowy boots, Darian simply stared towards Melanie and raised her left boot over Alex's desk. She quickly brought it back down onto the desk, causing more snow to spill off of it in a much more furious fashion. She was using the desk as her own little doormat. But after her boots were clean, or as clean as they could be, anyway, she stood up, smirking from the side of her lips.

"There. All clean. We done here, Ice?" Darian snapped out, stepping closer to Melanie in a clear intimidation tactic. However, following her words, Darian's smirk only widened as she quickly stepped in closer, seeking to take Melanie off guard even more by planting a sudden, quick kiss directly onto Melanie's lips.

It was plenty a problem that Roza was turning her uniform into some kind of slutty halloween costume, but the problem was the slipping hazard now. Plus, Ms. Castro would probably be able to take care of it. And the books that Melanie had seen Matt reading in the library were some of her favorites, thank you very much! But she shouldn't dwell on it... everyone had their own opinions after all, she couldn't just stay butt hurt about it.

Again the girl showed her insubordinate attitude. Melanie wasn't physically active and had never gotten into a real fight before, but she aught to at least not give into Darian's intimidation. Alex's books would be covered in snow if he were to put them on his desk and that just wasn't right. As a series bookworm, this was not allowed. Slipping her handkerchief out of her pocket, she placed it on the desk for someone to clean the desk later. With her luck she would slip while cleaning it. Melanie also didn't want anyone to feel gratitude towards her, it would be an unnecessary nuisance.

Even though Darian was a whole inch taller than her, the delinquent's intimidation was wasted on her. Melanie stared at her right in the eye, an annoyed glare on her face. W-Wait, what was she doing...?

T-T-T-The girl had kissed her! That was her first kiss dammit! She froze there, her complexion going completely white one second, to going the color of the ripest tomato a second later. Again, Melanie did condone violence, but her purity had been stolen from her. She threw her hand out to slap the taller girl.
