Okay, have not had word from Amy, Denny, Chaotic, Lop or Rogue since my last post asking for activity status. (Most of which have logged into the forum since that post)
So, not sure what to do. I want to push forward but wondering where to go from here. (Hushed posted clear posting requirements in the rules when we started.) - So, opinions. Push forward, open for new characters and assume inactive ones have moved out after a time jump, reboot and go with a different story line, etc.
Open for opinions and suggestions.
That's sad, I really don't want this to die D:
I think that we should possibly wait. Forget about the post limit and just post whatever till we have people back. I think finals are near for some so they just may be busy with that.
Lop and Lily, I believe, had exams. Foxie is busy. Denny... I don't know where Denny is nor Amy. I have no way of contacting anyone in that list except for Foxie so I can't poke them or anything (She said that she'll show up to the OOC by the way, she doesn't want Jecho and GU to die).
We wait for five days to a week and then, if they don't show up, we time jump. Their characters have left but they can come back if they want to. Open for new characters but always open for the old gang. But that might mean making more slots and moving away from what Hush originally intended :/
@Aewin@SgtEasy Yeah, I understand that, with finals and all but nearly a month since a post and over a week since a word for some when they have been online; I dunno. Figure a 30 second "have finals, be back in a week" isn't too much to ask.
Maybe open to new comers, if old comers come back and their apartment is rented out, pull a sublet thing. Like they had gone vacation or left for a family member and came back soon. Perhaps having couples move in together and take a single bedroom, which would open up more room over all.
Just tossing around ideas until @Xtreme and I finish up our colab. Once it's posted I'll time skip and we can go from there one way or another.

True, but now there's nothing we can do. @SgtEasy and I have started the collab, and I'm hoping that by the end of the week we should have it up, but no promises. We can probably wait till the weekend to see if anyone else shows up, and if not, we just time-skip and forget about the post limit to keep things going until Hushed comes back to help decide whether it's a good idea to open this back up or not. The idea about couples moving in together definitely sounds good to me, should we decide to open this up for fresh people.
- I turned 18. Yay? - Parents dropped me off the deep end and now I'm basically paying for anything and everything I need (Gas, food, cellphone bill, etc) - Tried to find a job so I could afford said things - Been having a few panic attacks because I'm overwhelmed by the logistics of moving across the country - Been trying to sell off quite a few things to fund my move - Have been struggling to keep up with schoolwork despite the break - Have had very little internet and have had few opportunities to do anything to relax
So, apologies for disappearing off of the face of the earth. I logged on sporatically to check up on things but right now everything I do is on my data plan, so my online stuff is going to be limited. I will try to post as best I can, expect an Echo post sometime this weekend? (No idea to be honest).
@ChaoticFox Holy shit girl, thanks for the update. Damn, that is a lot to take on; you have my sympathies - been at that point before many years ago. It's a hard road to travel. Stay strong! I know you'll get through this. You're a smart cookie, nothing you can't over come if you put your mind to it.

Connor plans to buy his apartment soon and move Eva in with him. Which will open up a slot; I think the only proper option is to open up slots and open up to the public again. If the others want to come back we should cross that bridge when we come to it, rather than waiting eternity. I'm willing to remove Belle so that she doesn't take up a slot, or like send her on a temporary excursion to France to see her family.
@Universorum Sounds good to me. I figure keep Belle until we need the room and then figure it out from there. I'll skip us forward soon, probably a decent amount of time so we can account for Echo healing, people moving out or what have you and the like. Hopefully can pick up at spring break, do Disneyland - perhaps make it a fun time before certain members of the group head out for Dom's first documentary trip.
@Universorum Don't have Skype, best I could do is make a Chatzy. (I use them for rps I'm the head gm for.) Here is a link for those that want to stop in...
I'll work at getting an interest check up, will be later tonight though - have to post in Duplicity and work on something for Walking Dead, plus I already have a slice of life interest check up, Best Exotic, and I have to reply to X for our colab for here.
Sadly even if we clear out some space, nothing I can do to the original ooc post to update it. ><
Somewhere in San Francisco is a small, seemingly insignificant apartment building the color of daffodils. It's quite lovely, really, but it wouldn't be so unnoticeable if it weren't for the much taller, obnoxiously bright red one right next to it. But the apartments themselves is not what this is about - no - it's the people living in them. Eleven, to be precise, and between them are five apartments, one neurotic landlord, and a coffee shop with crap coffee, dry muffins and great ambiance.
The yellow building is the aptly named Daffodil Building, and in it are apartments 1A and 1B - two bedrooms each, and really not as cramped as it looks like from the outside unless, of course, you happen to be roomies with someone who fills every single inch of floorspace with clothes and shoe boxes. With 1A on the second floor and 1B on the third, that leaves us with the first floor, which is entirely occupied by The Mighty Bean Café. It's where most of the tenants spend their mornings, evenings, and everything in between, and it claims to be a million times better than Starbucks despite the fact that their coffee only tastes slightly less worse, but terrible all the same. Some of the tenants from the other building work there part-time, which brings us to...
The Red Building, and yes, that's exactly what it's called. It used to have an antique shop on the bottom floor, but then its owner moved to Nebraska so the remaining tenants had it converted into some sort of communal living area instead. There are three apartments in the Red Building: 2A, 2B, and 2C. 2C's only slightly smaller than the other two, but it also has two bedrooms, and one of everything else, much like the apartments in the Daffodil Building.
And then there's The Building Across The Street. Like the other two, it also houses apartments, but unlike the other two, it's newer, pricier, and definitely a lot bigger. Like the Daffodil building, a shop occupies the bottom floor - a boutique called Strut - but it also shares the space with everyone's favorite bar: HUB, it has the greatest margaritas in the planet. Nobody ever goes to the apartments upstairs, therefore it's colloquially known as the Apartments No Ever Goes To. Ever. But for some reason, its tenants always find themselves inexplicably drawn to the two other, objectively shittier, apartments across the street and the terrible coffee shop that comes with it.
Between the three are fourteen people. They've been more or less sharing the same area for at least a few years now, though a bit less for some, so even though they've got bricks, concrete, and a road separating them, they're close enough so that kitchen-raiding at 3AM and finding someone passed out on someone else's floor or couch can be counted as a relatively common occurrence.
These are people with different backgrounds, different quirks, and likes, and ideas, and with personalities so different, it's a wonder just how they make it work. But surprisingly, they do.
...And it's anything but simple.
O.O.C Information
This is a realistic, slice of life, character driven roleplay. Relations among other characters are required, kind of. This is not a first come, first serve roleplay so no reservations will be allowed. We will be starting the roleplay as it will one of my character's birthday so a party will definitely be thrown for them. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please do not hesitate to PM me. Always available.
The Apartments
Apartment 1A Home to the most sufficiently stocked refrigerator and the two best cooks on the entire block and one of their best friends. Usually the go-to place when someone's feeling down because it's warm, there's real food, and the couch is always open to anyone looking for a place to crash. Also known as the friendliest apartment in all three buildings as it's where you're least likely to get harassed and/or bullied into drinking way more than you can handle. 1. Alexander Grayson 2. Samson Ahn 3. Belle Locke.
Apartment 1B Unlike the apartment downstairs, is not quite as welcoming and so are its occupants. They're fierce, and make quite a formidable pair, so arguments against these two are pretty much hopeless. The apartment's strictly "No Men Allowed", as per the mildly threatening sign hanging outside the door; so naturally, some of the guys have made a game out of sneaking their way in, much to anyone of the girl's endless annoyance. 1. Natasha Brinne. 2. Echo Young.
Apartment 2A Is everybody's apartment. Everyone's likely to end up there at some point, especially when The Mighty Bean's closed and there's nowhere else to go. Almost everything significant happens here. No one really knows how this came to be, but it probably has something to do with the fact that they've got the comfiest couches anywhere, a gargantuan flat screen TV perfect for movie nights, and a fridge that's always stocked with beer. 1. Evalyn Jones. 2. Bryant O'Connor.
Apartment 2B Hasn't been quite the same since an old friend turned up on their doorstep two months ago when he was supposed to be in college far, far away at Harvard. No one knows why he's there, and most generally think he's weird. And sometimes downright evil. But they all still adore him, and he gets along terrifyingly well with everyone, too. 1. Melrose Adams 2. Kazuhiko Ippitsusai. 3. Didi Sabello.
Apartment 2C Also known as the cleanest apartment of them all, only because something as small as forgetting to use a coaster is enough to drive anyone of them up the wall. 2C's only slightly smaller than apartment 2A and 2B, but it's enough to fit about two other people inside so it's usually where the others "escape" to when things get a little too crazy at 2A. 1. Dominic Mason. 2. Natalya Olsen.
Apartment 3C Is home to four people, who practically grew up together and are closer to one another like brothers and sisters. They have the best dress sense, so they usually act as the group's glorified fashion consultants when they aren't off scoffing at everyone else's admittedly poor taste in home decor. 1. Edgar Beauchamp. 2. Open 3. Jejomar Salinas. 4. Claire McManus.
The Rules
I am not as strict as I sound. I promise.

There should interaction with everyone's character even if they do not have a certain relation with another character.
4. Characters! 4a. This is a realistic, slice of life roleplay so all characters must be flawed. 4b. All humans have flaws in some sort of way so make sure your characters have some, too! 4c. You are allowed to play up to two characters only. 4d. I want to see well thought out characters, please.

8. Activity & Commitment! 8a. If you make a character then please be committed enough to follow through with that character, or characters. 8b. I require that you post at two times a week! If you cannot post for whatever reason then please let me know. 8c. Five days is the minimum amount of time that I'll allow you to be silent in the OOC and IC. I will write your character out of the roleplay if you do not post.
9. Extra! 9a. To prove you have read my strict rules, put your favorite activity in the Extra section of your sheet.
For when you have completed a character sheet, make sure you @Tag me so I can give feedback or accept them. Please do not post a work in progress sheet in the thread. Please only use one color wherever you see color=???. Also, wherever you see a . just remove it from [.hr] so that the coding can work.

@Lady Amalthea Hi.. ^^' I've been looking for a role-play to sort of satisfy both want to be in a group and still has romance. Since space is sort of limited, I wanted to make sure I'd be a good fit here first, if that's okay? ^.^ I always play lesbian characters, usually more introverted in some ways... and the thought occurred to me to play a woman who somehow works from home on the computer - makes plenty of money to be comfortable and regardless if it's more than enough, she's decided to move into an apartment complex like this vs. a more spacey area / own a home - namely so she can have some social interaction with others. She's definitely a nerd though. =3
@lydyn I forsee this new character and Echo getting along juuuuuuusst fine. Speaking of which, working on something resembling a post atm @Lady Amalthea so, look forward to that?
@SgtEasy Well, the warm welcomes are making me want to make a CS... =3 I just want to be extra careful and make sure my idea fits in. I had a bad experience recently with being kicked out of a role play because I was being too "negative"... because I was a little sad my character had no love interest. >.< So yeah...
