She cringed a bit as Walker punched Ditch - well, that wasn't what she intended, but it wasn't that surprising that the man wanted to get the hell out of Dodge. Another surprise came when her head whipped around and saw Omega preparing his gravity blast, allowing Rose just enough time to sidestep it entirely, only to watch the pair go flying. Again, she was sorry Ditch had taken the beating, but with that speed, she knew the hacker would be fine if a little bruised. The point was, Walker was getting away from the psychos.

Speaking of which, she looked again as she heard Graffiti suddenly addressed her, giving her an odd look of confusion. "I'm not surprised at all, you're just a fake, following Ditch in whatever she tells you to do, and then the only time you challenge her is to protect a criminal, well that's fine with me, I know where you stand............now lets see if you can copy super speed." The speech was fine until Graffiti mentioned.. super speed? Was.. she being serious? The woman's arrogance apparently knew no bounds.

That's when she started to gather her powers around her. The thing that Graffiti seemed to misunderstand was, not only could Rose read her powers in such a way as to understand what was being done, but she could read her body language perfectly. First mistake. Then the woman launched herself with such speed and fury that normally it would've taken actual superhuman speed to move out of the way. Second mistake. Lastly, for a reason that was far beyond Rose's understanding, Graffiti decided to talk while launching an attack? Third mistake.

Within fractions of a second, her mind processed the body language of Graffiti's attack and what it was being used for, giving her time to move out of the way the very moment she started charging. Normally one could change their course, but Graffiti had gained so much momentum it was like asking Tank to stop on a dime, giving Rose the chance to duck down. She activated her boot's electrodes and spun her body weight to literally trip Graffiti over her shin. The ex-cop was splitting her focus so much between attacking and giving out orders, that it would take inhuman reactions to not trip. The result: Graffiti was falling face down towards the floor with a rather large surge of electricity sparking her nervous system - like being tasered.

Rose was sure she'd get back up, but with minimum effort she had used Graffiti's own slip stream to ram her face into the concrete and give her a rather nasty shock. The fight was already in Rose's favor, though she had jumped back, preparing to continue - still entirely confused why Graffiti was so intent on attacking her.

Wraith

You stupid, self-righteous little bitch. Wraith had allowed herself to get so distracted that Walker managed to pull away without her noticing. She turned to launch a punch at him, but before she could, his fist connected directly with the bridge of her nose. She could swear that she'd felt something crack.

The guy could throw a punch, she'd give him that. Wraith clutched her nose and staggered back, stunned. I think it might be broken. Dammit! she'd zoned out for a few moments, and didn't notice that the wall had been electrocuted as she tried phase through it. She instantly felt as though she'd been hit by a truck, completely blacking out for a few moments and waking up with her head on the floor, staring up at Raven, who seemed like she was ready to fight her. I'm not the bad guy here!

She wasn't sure where Graffiti had went, but she heard the woman yell at her to hold off Raven and Omega. She looked at Raven for a few moments. She seemed angry - disgusted might have been a better word for it actually. Some people didn't have the stomach for getting rid of problems, she supposed. Wraith stood shakily up, clutching her nose. She wasn't exactly fighting fit right now, and she had a feeling that Walker would be long gone anyway. This whole thing was a mess. She'd been impatient, and now the criminal had escaped because of her childish tantrum.

Wraith sighed and raised her hands in surrender. "As much as I hate that he got away, I'm not gonna fight you, Raven." she said, looking at their faces to try and gauge their reactions to her speech. "I don't fight the good guys. It's against my principles, you know? Not that I'm in a state to take on a super right now anyway." she fully expected there to be consequences - wouldn't be surprising if they decided to turn her in or something, but she had no intention of going against her own morals. That was the only reason she could consider herself better than a murderer. Not that the rest of them agreed.

Wraith raised her voice, yelling to Graffiti. "Sorry Graffiti, but you're on your own here. There's no way I'm fighting people who're trying to do the right thing, even if they are a bunch of soft-hearted idiots." she looked at Raven again. "Whether they want to fight me is up to them, though."

This is EXACTLY what Ecto tried to avoid.

Things were heating up within the group and he felt something needed to be done fast. He really didn't want to take any sides, this was never the plan.

He agreed that they shouldn't just stroke Wall Walker's hair, give him sugar cubes and send him on his way. He IS a bank robber, after all. And maybe... he felt like if Captain Powerhouse couldn't catch him, and he could, he would feel something... pride, satisfaction. He also kinda liked Graffiti, and didn't want to disappoint her.

But... murdering Walker in cold blood? That is insanely dark, stealing money does not deserve death. NOTHING should. A little pain? Maybe... but NOT death.

Getting into Walker's body seemed like the best idea at the time, since it was to harmlessly bind him in his place, and would also protect both of them from any trigger-happy ideas, thus, taking the middle ground. This way, they would have time to sort things out. At least, that's what Ecto thought...

He was shocked to see that Wraith didn't really think the same, and effortlessly pushed her hand right through Walker's ribcage. It was a sudden, cold sensation, her fingers, like icicles forming around his heart.

"Wraith, don't -" - then hell broke loose.

When Ditch kicked Graffiti's paintball gun out of her hands, Walker suddenly slipped from Ecto's grasp, like a smooth, silk blanket being pulled from you. Leaving Ecto where he stood, he suddenly turned around, and bashed Wraith in the face with incredible force. The girl staggered, her hand still in Ecto's body. "... keeping my hand insubstantial like this is an effort. As soon as I stop, well, that's when accidents become necessary, I'm afraid." - the words echoed in his head.

Oh no.

His side exploded with excruciating pain as Wraith's hand left him. To the outside world, it was quiet and mostly unnoticeable, like a gust of wind during spring, but for Ecto, it was agony incarnate. He fell to the ground, a thick liquid substance seeping from his side. Ectoplasm...?

When he managed to look up, the others were focused on following Walker, who had apparently taken Ditch with him in a tussle. Everyone rushed into the building after them: Omega, Raven Tale, Black Rose, Wraith... Even Graffiti. Did really no one notice him getting injured? Or they just didn't care...? He tried to center himself with all his strength, clenching his teeth.

"Sure... don't mind... me, just... bleeding to death. No biggie..."

Son of a bitch!

Walker had gone with the ol’ Human Shield move and had Ditch take the bulk of the blast. Luckily, it wasn't meant to do much damage - more of a hard push than anything - but after that blow Ditch took to the gut, she had to be feeling it.

Meanwhile, Graffiti had really just said ‘fuck everything’ and decided to actually attack Rose. Omega had seen Black Rose fight before and he knew Graffiti was about to get shown something. He wasn't really sure how all of this would affect her position on the team, but he also didn't have time to worry about that now.

We're in a fight now, Wraith, keep Raven Tale and Omega off my back if they try and get involved, this is between me and the 'Pretender' Black Rose.

His eyes quickly darted back to where Raven was standing. Now that he knew she was Aurora, he was going to make doubly sure that Wraith didn't shove her hand into Raven’s chest, too. Her creepy bride demon was back out and she stood ready for a fight. However, Wraith seemed to have come to her senses.

I guess after getting her clock cleaned, she's decided on a different approach. Looks like all the crazy is on Sk8r Gurl.

He turned his attention back to the fleeing Wall Walker as Graffiti ate the floor a few feet next to him. He looked back at Ditch once more, needing to make yet another split-second decision: see if Ditch was alright or go after Walker. He really didn't want to leave Ditch hanging, but it was her objective to get to Walker in the first place. Walker needed to know that, despite the chaos, they were on his side. If this guy could cause this much damage to the team on his own, Omega didn't even want to imagine what he could do with Umbra’s little army backing him. With an audible, aggravated groan, Omega took off after Walker and was apparently accompanied by Raven Tale’s Grim. He sprinted through the empty office building, dodging pillars and cubicles, and kept his eyes on the Grim, not wanting to lose Walker’s trail. Then, Omega spotted him just as he was nearing the outer wall.

“Not this time!”

Omega formed a small purple-black orb of zero-point gravity and fast-balled it toward Walker. It stopped several feet behind him and Omega skidded to a halt. Then, the orb immediately began attracting everything within close proximity to itself, sending office chairs and loose particles flying through the air to collect at the central point of the orb. He caught the Grim as it flew past, not wanting it to get sucked in as well. He hoped this would catch Walker in time to prevent him from going back outside.

Aurora waisted no time in taking a fighting stance when she heard Graffiti ask Wraith to attack her. Her cane of ebony gripped in her right hand, her book in her left. She's trained for battle, no use as a vigilant if she couldn't defend herself. Her wraith looming behind her, a steady breath escaping her lungs. The woman began to smile when she heard Wraith's reaction to the command.
"As much as I hate that he got away, I'm not gonna fight you, Raven."

Standing neutral once more, she simply nodded her head. "Tis not a night for blood to spill upon the city streets, nor will it be the next." About to follow after Omega, the Grim was leading him in the right direction but another hand could not help. Taking her first step down the hall she froze. A small gust of wind escaping through the doors, her Wraith calling her.

Raven's Wraith was looming over the crumpled form of Ecto. Looking at him with interest as she tilted her head. The male was injured, bleeding to the steps below. And so, with a haunting melody, she screeched a long, lone note. It did not take even three breaths before Raven herself left the building. Worry hidden under the gaping holes of her mask. "Ecto..."

She could smell something like iron. Not quite the scant of blood, but the larboard breath and the eerie call from her summon told her enough. Moving through to the Wraith she knelt down, tapping the ground with her hand only to feel something strange, thick liquid. "Hold on, you'll survive."
This was why she stayed away from teaming up. They would be harmed, and she would be left with trying to fix them. Taking off her coat to reveal unnaturally pale arms, skin almost that of a doll's she set it near by. "Your going to have to trust me, I can't help you unless your shifted back to normal."

"Disperse my friend" on command the wraith vanished, her hand running over a page as she uttered the correct words. "May his wings of everlasting fire guide you well, only to help those who fell." The sound of wing beats greeting her ears, the form of a phoenix with wispy black flames took form behind her. Please have this work, she could already feel the strain of keeping such a weak connection. Still, she greeted the bird with a nod, a smile on her features. "Hello my friend, I need your help for another."

Alice and Co

Alice is giddy, here is her target and a group of supers to play with. "This is gonna be fun," she thinks happily and then all of a sudden shit gets weird. "BRIBERY!" and money is yelled into the air, Shifter is handed off to a large man who immediately punches another guy in the face and bolts, and Rebel gets all gung ho and chases him. "Hey! You are supposed to be my....ah what the hell she is gone." Alice calls to Rebel, trailing off as she realizes how pointless it is to try.
She looks about, thinking quick. On the one hand, there is a full group of Supers to play with; but sadly, they aren't the mission. "Umbra won't be happy if i leave empty handed. Better make my exit." Alice turns her attention to her other two minions, who seem to already be engaging the enemy. "You boys stay and tussle, I need to have a little chat with our friend Rebel. Oh, parting gift before I go, boys...breathe deep!" She pushes a wave of what she called "Hulk" at the boys, hoping to help enrage them enough to fight harder. "What they do with it is up to them," she turns and heads towards the footprints left by Rebel. "Oh well, no one can say i dont know how to give a guy a good time. Now to give a different guy a really bad one" she grins and starts to run.

"Oh sweet freaking Jesus i am not a goddamned track star," Alice thinks to herself as she jogs towards the hulking form of the man who took her prize. She skids to a stop behind the large man and his burden, realizing that Rebel had covered his front. "Where ya going, Buddy? That's my prize you're running off with!" Alice smirks and adds, "Actually, you have my prize there, Big Man. I thinkyou need to be returning it now." She hopes the man will show some sense, wouldn't want to get too caught up in whatever history he has with her minion. "Or do you really wanna see how far down the rabbit hole you can go?" Alice circles the man, grinning. Now she was facing him, she could see how big he was. She was not too keen on fighting such a large opponent but hoped Rebel would do her job and take most of the hits. "Your move, Tough Guy."

Turn Back's eyes widened as the blast of flame came towards him, he dove to the ground and covered his head as he heard the nuts explode harmlessly in midair. He looked around, finding his discarded bandanna, grabbing it and a few more bills, and wrapping it back around his face. They had to get out. This had all gone wrong, and they needed to get Scarlett out. "Levi, Reaper!" He cried out, standing up and backing towards the hole in the wall. "Fall back, get to Tank!" It was at that moment that he noticed the laser eyed villain's own shadow leaping up to wrap around his head, barely containing the first concussive blast aimed at Reaper in the vicinity of his face. Turn Back sprinted forward, grabbing Reaper's arm and pulling her away.

He remembered something about Reaper being able to teleport, and so as he pulled her towards Tank he outlined his plan. "We need to get Shifter out of here, and you're our best shot! We can hold them off, you need to take her and go!"

"What, and leave you with Talky and the psychos? I won't even be able to take her that far!"

"You can take her far enough!" Turn Back yelled as he ducked out the hole in the wall. "Hide her somewhere, put her somewhere safe! We'll be fine, me and Tank can take just about anything, and Sparky is crazy enough to be a wildcard! Scarlett is our mission, we need to get her safe or we lose!"

"We lose if any of us get captured too, kumquat!" The darkness manipulator snapped in return, but nonetheless as they approached Tank she merely huffed, "Distract them for a minute." With that said Reaper trusted Turn Back to do what was necessary and slid in front of Tank, reaching for Scarlett even as her blackened eyes darted around to look for escape.

"Change of plans, big guy," Reaper muttered to him, and as soon as he let go of Scarlett both the shifter and Reaper dropped - right into Tank's shadow to disappear.

TB sprinted forward, purple energy flashing around his feet as he sped up, planting his staff behind Tank and leaping into the air, vaulting over Tank's shoulders and landing on the ground, absorbing the energy of his landing and swinging the staff in front of him, charging it with nearly all the remaining energy he had. "Sorry to drop in on you ladies, but it seems my buddy Tank needed someone else for this double date!" He said with a grin, dropping into a defensive stance.

A distance away, just passed the now destroyed building that was once Scarlet Shifter's hideout, Reaper stumbled out of the shadow of another home that she just barely picked the shadow of between the ruined walls. A quick glance around and the vigilante grunted and brought Scarlett into the darkness once more. If she was lucky, she could make a few quick shadow steps to lose the others to hide with her prize in the maze of houses. After all, they didn't know how far she could take another person.

Reaper was still going to kick Turn Back's ass for this later, though.

Interacting with: Team Scarlet and Anti Scarlet

Fast, Flare was fast but he did have fire-based powers so thrust was to be expected. His kukris barely missing it's intended target and landing on the wall behind Flare. A gust of fire now flying towards him and Turn Back, unfortunately with the training he's had with Avery who threw lightning frequently at him, fire was at a snails pace very slow in comparison. Levi thought he could handle himself so he used his speed to get to his stationary kukris stuck on the wall and retrieved them. The flame going over Turn Back, it seems like Levi thought he could absorb the fire or move out of the way.

"Levi, Reaper!"
"Fall back, get to Tank!"

Levi didn't like being ordered to do anything, but reluctantly did so. A blur of yellow appearing near the wall he was at, crushed wooden flooring from his initial upthrust towards Tank. He appeared next to Tank and set his eyes on who they were just fighting. Levi only knows bits and pieces from the conversation they were having simply because of the utter concentration he had at the group. From what he got, they wanted Reaper to dip out of Tank's colossal shadow and carry Shifter out to a safe place before joining them again.

Levi then took his peculiar stance because of his kukris, apparently they had to hold out waiting for Reaper to come back, and Levi didn't mind, instead harnessing his energy and channeling his lightning to encircle him and his weapons. He glanced back at Turn Back whom had now assumed a defensive stance, his weapon rippling with a bright purple energy, and Tank who did the same.

Looking forward once more, his eyes begin to glow an even brighter shade of dull yellow, and he began exerting energy from himself and the crackle of his electricity growing more deafening and raucous. Said energy that was distributed throughout his body then began to concentrate on his left arm, after a few seconds, with the majority of electricity now fused onto his left hand he slammed the floor. An arc of brilliant, yet dull, amber-yellow lightning, furiously crackling against the silent stillness. The shot started from Levi and cascaded outwards in a triangular motion towards the other group, fortunately, Tank and Turn Back were besides him.

Okay, okay... breathe.

Ecto was laying on the floor, his side a terrible mess. Though his healing factor slowed the bleeding, this was much more than he could handle.

Dammit, is this how it ends? I can't stay this way forever, but if I shift back, I probably die REALLY fast. But if I get to a hospital, somehow... make it there, I might stand a chance. Of course, that will mean the end of my vigilante career, since everyone will know who I am. Crap.

He tried to get up, slowly pulling his hands under himself, and pushed up his upper body with agonizing pain. He closed his eyes, and breathed deeply.

When he opened his eyes again, a horror greeted him. Dark, terrifying, and creepy, Raven's monster looked at him.

"Are you... here to... take me? Can't you... see I'm... already dead?" The creature slightly tilted it's head. "Sorry... bad joke." It gave out a sad, but strangely beautiful sound, a grieving note. "Yeah, I know... it's bad."

He afforded himself a slight smile as he closed his eyes, and tried to come to terms with the possibility that this was the end.

"Ecto." - he looked up, and saw Raven standing over him.

"Raven you have... no idea how... happy I am to see you." She knelt down next to him, and slowly, softly touched the seeping liquid.
"Yeah that's... gross, sorry."
"Hold on, you'll survive."

She started taking off her clothes. Well that's not what I had in mind. Is she made of marble...? Oh, she's an albino, how cool. Or maybe I'm getting dizzy and can't see colors right anymore.

"Your going to have to trust me, I can't help you unless your shifted back to normal." But that would leave me completely naked...Wait, is she...coming on to me? No stupid, you can't think straight.

"Disperse my friend." - and with a whoosh, Raven's dark minion disappeared to fog. She said some words, like a mantra she chanted her poetic summon, and the phoenix appeared that pulled Tank from the stage. That's nice, nice bird... Shit this is painful.
She turned to the phoenix: "Hello my friend, I need your help for another."

Utterly confused and light-headed, Ecto looked at Raven Tale. "Whatever you... you know."

He shut his eyes, and materialized himself on the ground.

If Raven could see anything, she didn't show it, or seem to care that the male in front of her was naked. Instead she got right to work. Holding out her arm for the Phoenix that waited. Flapping its great wings, she felt its talons grip her skin.

Biting her lip at the sensation, she bowed a bit at the sudden weight. It was not the most comfortable but with a weak link like the one she has with the bird, she would.need whatever she could get. Physical contact helping greatly.
"Those tears of pain, take yours away." The bird looked down at Ecto, it was obvious it held great pride. Seeming as if it was trying to figure out if the vigilant was worth it's time.

Seconds seemed like an eternity to Raven. The sound of tear droplets falling to skin, caused her to let out the breath she had been holding. One, two, three, four, she counted each drop she heard fall. Each crystal like creation that fell, began to close the wound on Ecto's side bit by bit. It seems the bleeding was slowing down at the vary least.

The moment Ecto was no longer in critical condition however, was when the Phoenix gave out a small noise. Ruffiling it's feathers and dispersing without being asked to do so.

If felt like being kicked in the stomach when her link was forcefully closed. Her summons had to leave when both her and the beast agreed or else it was not the most cofortable. It was nothing she could not.handle, a groan escaping her she sucked in her breath before taking it in. "Sorry, hes sometimes not keen on the idea of companionship anymore."
Pulling on her coat, she found her fingers brush something warm.on her arm crimsion lines decorating her skin. A sigh escaping her lips she shook her head. "How are you feeling?"
She only hoped the others were doing well.

The grim stayed loyal to his current companion. Not struggling a bit as Omega grabbed him, its claws dug into the floor beneath. Tail up and fur bristiling at the sudden shift in the air.
Though it didnt stay the way for long. Eyes of green flashing, the beast used all its weight to move the male, just as a stone of rubble went passed where his head would have been if the beast did not act. A rumble in its throat, it waited for the others to move.

Wall Walker

Walker was running as fast as he possibly could now; he was desperate to get away. The team was crumbling from within, fighting each other, and he was right in the crossfire. Walker was smart enough to know if there was any time to scram, now would be it. Aside from the fact that he'd already tried to run.. now he actually had a chance to get away.

Ditch had managed to get to her feet, though her face was completely masked she gripped her stomach, seeming to be in some pain. She straightened when Omega ran past her, and followed him quickly. “Omega, don-”

“Not this time!”

Nope. Walker didn’t even turn back. Just kept on running. He was so done with whatever shit this was - and that was when he felt he was being tugged back. By what, he couldn’t say. It almost felt like gravity was going against him. Which was exactly what was happening. The loose-fitting cloth wrapped around his face was pulled off easily by the zero-gravity vortex, revealing his blood stained beard and teeth.

“...Nate?!” Ditch shouted. She was standing a slight bit behind Omega, a safer distance from the swirling vortex he had created. Walker snapped to look at her, confusion taking over his features, though he couldn’t linger long on the skeletal masked vigilante. “Omega -- turn it off!” Ditch cried out.

Omega smirked as his well-timed orb grabbed Walker before he could escape. As he was sliding backward, Ditch appeared behind Omega just out off range of the gravity field.

“...Nate?!”

Omega’s brow furled and he turned his head halfway in her direction, not wanting to completely lose sight of Walker. It wasn't a total surprise for Ditch to know someone's identity, but the way she called him by name was a bit puzzling.

“Omega -- turn it off!”

He turned his head fully toward her now. She actually sounded concerned for Walker, despite the distortion of her voice modulator. He frowned in frustration and whipped back around to face the vortex. With a wave of his hand, the orb instantly dissipated and the force along with it. The ball of office junk that had collected fell in a loose pile onto the floor directly behind Walker. Omega let go of the Grim and marched his way over to Ditch.

“So, what, are we just letting him go? Then, why the hell did we chase him in the first place? Did you actually just gather this whole team just to say ‘Oh, by the way...Umbra’ and then let that be it? What's really going on here, Ditch?”

Omega stood with his arms folded and wore a look of irritation at what a confused mess this mission had turned out to be.

Girard was not entirely surprised when he heard some thuds and cracks picking up behind him, he knew Rebel would be itching for a fight again but it also gave him the idea that the opposing group wasn't well controlled by the 'leader'. However, he had more pressing matter at the moment as the now iron-skinned woman lapped him forcing him to stop, he had to worry about Scarlet otherwise he would have plowed into her, but it appeared the boss lady wasn't far behind which wasn't entirely surprising as she also moved to block him from the front. Would be safer to stay next to someone like Rebel which was probably the plan besides taking his ward from him which wasn't going to happen without a fight. Though it also posed him a problem because he could usually rely on having both arms to work with which was impossible at the moment but in Scarlet's state they couldn't afford to hurt her further so it was a double edged sword but a little in his favor as much as he hated the thought.

"If you think I'm just gonna roll over girls, I'd like to see you try and make me." Tank said accompanied by a quick chuckle from behind his helmet prepared to either hold where he stood or make a quick violent exit to the horror of the local buildings.

Of course it didn't end up coming to that as Reaper showed up at his side and it took almost no urging to let the other vigilante take Scarlet from him, this was exactly what he needed to get back into his comfort zone. He figured she would use his shadow again like before so he kept still so it was a simple matter. Having Turn Back vault over him into a defensive stance was a bit on the theatrical side and he might later admit to smiling at his cheesy line. Girard moved up next to TB and assumed his own stance, it looked almost like a slightly lazy boxing stance, fully intending to use his reach from the center of the little formation that just became full once Sparky appeared to his other side. The lightning bug charged up an attack next to him sending it out towards Rebel and the 'leader' which he figured was a good point to follow up on. If he was being honest with himself he was actually looking forward to some more action and fighting of some of Umbra's goons particularly little miss Iron Skin would keep him nice and busy until they had to pull out.

"Round two." Tank said as he shifted forward to make use of his longer reach to let out a right hook from aimed to hit either of the women or both if they were so inclined.

He wanted to test the boss lady's reaction as well as Rebel's to the swing to follow up on Levi's previous attack and also to get feel for how they were going to move defensively, though the second part was mostly for the 'leader' who appeared be far more vulnerable.

Scarlet Shifter

Rebel’s expression turned to that of shock as Reaper appeared in front of her target -- they were trading off, no no no! She moved to reach for the shadow-controlling super, but TB had jumped in front, blocking her way. Anger plastered her iron features as Reaper disappeared into the shadows, and she let out an angry growl.

"Sorry to drop in on you ladies, but it seems my buddy Tank needed someone else for this double date!" "Sorry. I'm not interested in a relationship." She spat. Rebel looked quite ready to tackle Turn Back to the ground, her anger perhaps about to get the best of her, when Levi stepped up with his lightning arm, and geared up to attack the concrete below.

Oh, hell no. Around the same time Levi had pounded his fist against the ground, Rebel had given a stomp, sending chunks of gravel flying, the ground between the two opposing teams effectively ripped up, stopping the current from reaching Rebel and Spore. Only to be met with a flying fist to the face from Tank.

His hit landed, but Rebel didn't even move. "Seems lots has changed since our last meeting," Rebel said smoothly. Last time a hit from Tank could cause her to fall, even with her iron skin, but now she held up quite impressively, and retaliated with her own fist coming his way.

Meanwhile, Flare and Laser had headed out of the house, rushing after Reaper and TB only to find the darkness elemental disappear. With a quick nod to his companion, Laser set off in the other direction in hopes of reaching Reaper.

All three supers’ attention focused on Alice and where Rebel used to be, so Flare had some semblance of surprise. He sucked in a breath, and from behind, roared yet another plume of fire at their backsides as Rebel threw her punch.

ALICE

"Fuckfuckfuckfuck I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING" Alice yells as she jumps back to avoid the ground slitting at her feet from Rebel's punch. She lands, a bit shakily. "I would rather not have to do this, I am a lady!" She steps to the side a bit, pulling a knife from her belt. "Alright then, who wants some?" She scans the group, Rebel seemed to be too preoccupied to help. Looking at the two men before her, she decides to open her goddamned mouth. Gonna let your mouth get you laid or killed or both someday, her mind screams. "Well boys, looks like your friend is having a good time. Don't worry, i can play with both of you. There's enough of me to go around!"

Alice hopes she wont be sent back to Umbra in pieces, although that might be a better alternative to returning empty handed. She readies herself for another attack, hoping she can get a few hits in so she can better use her powers. Alice was preparing to spring forward for a kick when she sees the flames erupt from behind the two Supers. She leaps forward, hoping to kick the Sparky kid before he lets loose again.

The phoenix cried. It CRIED. How sad is that? Teardrops fell on Eric's body as the he lay on the floor naked. A burning sensation hit his side, something very similar to his healing abilities. The numbing pain slowly started to clear from his mind, and when he looked down, he could see his wounds closing.

"Hey, that... is amazing, Than-" - The birl looked at him, then suddenly raised his head, flapped it's wings and in an instant, disappeared.
"Was it... something I said?"

"Sorry, he's sometimes not keen on the idea of companionship anymore." Raven Tale put her clothes back on and sighed. There was something very soothing in the way she acted, a calm, unearthly aura that seemingly surrounded her. That, and the fact that she very likely saved Eric's life.

"How are you feeling?"
Eric shifted back to spectral form and waited a bit. Alright, this should not be worse now than a knife wound... and I had those before.
"I can handle it from here. It will take some time, but I'll be fine." He slowly stood up, and touched Raven Tale's arm.

"Thank you, Raven, I really owe you one." - he said sincerely, then got embarrassed and scratched his head. "Listen, could you please not tell the others that you saw me? Not just, you know, under the belt and all... but... who I really am? I'm not sure I'm ready for sharing that with everyone."

Wall Walker

Walker, this time, though given a wonderful opportunity, did not run. A safe distance away from Ditch and Omega, he stood and waited.

“So, what, are we just letting him go? Then, why the hell did we chase him in the first place? Did you actually just gather this whole team just to say ‘Oh, by the way...Umbra’ and then let that be it? What's really going on here, Ditch?”

With a glance towards Omega, Ditch only uttered one word. “Wait.” She said quietly, and looked back at Walker.

“Why are you robbing banks? Not just one.. All of them. You must be swimming in millions upon millions of dollars.. But you’re still here.. Not a single piece of bling on you, wearing ruddy clothes and a strip of cloth for a mask.. Hanging out at the orphanage.”

Walker clenched his bloodstained teeth together, and wiped his face on the back of his hand, coating it in red. “Who do you think you are?” He muttered. “Crusading with your super hero team, fighting the bad guys? Am I just a practice target so you can feel prepared when you punch Umbra in the face? Hate to break it to you, but you’re not even going to get close to him. This city isn’t going to change.” There was true bitterness in his voice, but also some part of him sounded.. Tired.

Ditch grabbed the edge of her mask, and pulled it off. “You always were a pessimist.” Walker shook his head and shoved his hands in his pockets. “And you, always the dreamer.”

“You heard about Hummingbird, didn’t you?” “Yeah.” “And you just.. Don’t care?” “I can’t help her.” Ditch sighed. “You don’t even want to try?” “Umbra’s untouchable.” “So you’re ready to let her die?” “What do you want me to do?!” He shouted. “I want to be able to ask you for a favor when the time comes.” Walker’s angry expression faded, and he was left casting his gaze to the floor. “..fine.” He hissed.

“You can go.” “I don’t need you to tell me when I can leave.” “I’m still older than you.” “That never fucking mattered!” He retorted. Ditch had already turned around, throwing a gloved hand behind her as a wave, and he exited through through the wall, officially ending the chase. “I swear to god I’ll explain everything as soon as I possibly can, Omega.” She said, combat boots clicking against the floor and echoing around the empty office space. “I’ve got a goddamn fight to break up.”

Something about Ditch had changed - her aura was entirely different. Her mask was off now, they could see her face, and she was pissed. Graffiti was sprawled on the floor, after being shoved into the concrete by Rose. Ditch bent down and picked up the spray-painting vigilante by her hoodie. And then, her eyes glowed. A bright white - an unmistakable sign of power. All around: Not good.

“You’re a disgusting joke of a vigilante.” She spat. “You call yourself one of the good guys when you fight one of your own teammates? Do you think what you did helped anyone at all? Are you that naive?” Ditch’s grip tightened on Graffiti. “I have only myself to blame for ever including you in this. You need to leave. Now. And if I ever see your face again there will be hell to pay.” Ditch dropped Graffiti, and took one menacing step forward. “NOW.” She shouted.

"I owe you not a thing, tis a simple rule to help a comrade." Her words even, the woman brgan to still. Her breathing even, escaping in cool whisps back into the air. The grim was in contact with someone, holding a hand around his neck.

Lifting her head at the sound of Ecto, she simply shook her head. A slow motion as a smile appeared on her features. She must have been getting good if those who have already worked with her have not found out.
"Little on, I couldn't know what you look like, even if I wished it so. Though, we have known each other in one time, your voice sparks memory, i just cant figure out which one"
A hand reaching to her mask, she waved it across the void like sockets, a bit of the creation dissolving in a mirrage to reveal a open eye. Clouded red as if peering through a casing of fog. "My mask is the head of the raven. Comes in handy at times like this." Her hand brushing back, the mask took its place over her eye.
"Can you walk? Come i suspect that the Walker has been found."

Still standing with his arms folded, Omega watched intently as the conversation between Wall Walker and Ditch went on. It was extremely casual and he concluded that they definitely had known each other. In fact, it almost felt like they had quite a close relationship...and not just with each other, but Hummingbird? And the comments about their age...those are the kinds of things you might say to a sibling. His own brother had thrown around the age card more times than he could count. Also, she did make a good point about the money. People don't rob banks only to hoard the money or give it away…

“I swear to god I’ll explain everything as soon as I possibly can, Omega.”

Oh, yes hell you will.

“I’ve got a goddamn fight to break up.”

His gaze shot over to Graffiti who was still on the ground recovering from her faceplant. He followed Ditch from a distance back to where the confrontation had gone down and he could tell this was not going to end well. When Ditch scooped Graffiti up with her eyes glowing, he raised an eyebrow. If he was ever unsure that she had any powers, all of that had quickly gone out the window. He watched in anticipation, fully expecting something explosive, but Ditch showed incredible restraint and allowed Graffiti to bow out gracefully.

This Ditch girl is full of surprises and secrets. As a vigilante, I understand the need for secrecy...but if she plans on everyone being a team, she’s gonna have to give some of that up. She’s already got way more on us than we have on her, and that needs to even out quick.

He took another look around the room at the state of Ditch’s ‘team’ and, for a moment, considered whether or not this was something he wanted to be a part of. It was conflicts like these that made Omega want to work alone in the first place.

I knew there would be hiccups when this thing got off the ground, but I never imagined it would get this bad. We have a lot of shaping up to do if we are to effectively deal with Umbra. Otherwise...

TURN BACK

Turn Back stood his ground ad the pavement in front of him erupted, taking the flying gravel wherever it hit. Small flashes of energy popped in the air as the gravel dropped, its energy drained. IT wasn't much, but at this point he needed everything he could get. Tank had run up to the iron-skinned girl, looked like she'd be a tough one to beat. The other one was yelling something about not wanted to fight, but fuck that. She and her cronies had started this. She was trying to attack Sparky now, but TB figured the small man could hold his own, the iron girl needed to be taken care of.

A flash from behind him attracted his attention however, and he turned just in time to see a blast of flame coming at the group from one of the guys they'd left behind. TB rolled off to the side, feeling the heat against his back. As he stood up he was alarmed to see that his now-ruined hoodie had caught fire, and he shrugged it off as fast as he could. The adrenaline was working for him right now, he didn't feel much pain from that, but those burns would probably need some attention later. The energy-absorbing vigilante sprinted towards Tank now, desperate to back up the big guy.

Turn BAck skidded to a stop behind Tank, dropping to his knees and charging his staff with power, thrusting it between Tank's legs, aiming to smack the girl in with a sneak attack. It probably wouldn't do much damage, but maybe he could distract her. "Tank!" He cried, scrambling to his feet. "Tag team, charge me up when you can!"
