@sakurasanUnfortunately we cannot do anything unless the Mod Saints hath awoken. Even then there is a dedicated place for such matters and the Mod Saints have already requested that we do not do any more as salvation cometh.

I also have that problem. Also, is this the only place the human test can happen? Either way, kind of a moot point personally. Because it's still asking for it on other threads. But I understand if older threads can't be sanctified as easily.

Seriously though, is there anyway to check to see if the email for the user is something from a serious email service (ie Google, Yahoo, etc?) instead of a temporary email account?

Oh yeah, another issue is that the forum views will appear blank. The spam is so bad that you have to go back a few pages to see topics.

I'll be fixing that as well.

What a nightmare.

Would "I don't do introduction threads. This thread will be ignored from now onwards." constitute for a passable introduction thread?
Seriously, though, I don't think it's a restriction that should stay around, as much as I know there exist (and I have invited onto the site) people whom I know could have proper panic attacks from something as simple as making an introduction thread just anyone can reply to. Does not mean they're bad writers or roleplayers, or should be denied the ability to roleplay with friends.

PMs appear to be back now, though, for all that's worth.

Yeah, you're right. I was trying to come up with the simplest solution but that one's really not going to work.

I'll think of something better.

Also, I should turn off the recaptcha system now.

@MahzWould there be a method of automatically "muting" someone if they keep making the same post X number of times? I think that might actually work okay-ish.
