From what I can gather, your demon summoned a snake to attack. What was attacked by suku was the summoned snake not your character.

Someone please post, I don't like seeing the 1 day ago post there and I will forcefully move things along if that goes to 2 days ago.

Yeah nothing's really visible from 2000km away because it'd be beyond the horizon and you'd have literally the Earth in the way... Unless you're at 750,000 meter altitude then that'd be fine...

And this situation happening right now is probably where "Talk about it in the OOC first before posting in the IC instead of the other way around" would be helpful...

was a bit op... fraid that due to this her attacks will be counted as week. Characters are meant to grow and I should have mentioned this earlier.

I don't see the issue actually. I stated in the character sheet how corruption makes her alien and incontrollable, and attack wise, all she's doing is keeping a very strong grip and peltering the demon lord with her basic fireball attack.

Well, if you had set the whole limits a bit better, maybe this could've worked for the better, hmm? In any case, I only explained how she would attack, not the end result. You're free to shrug it off if you wish to.

I suppose you meant weak instead of week.

Besides, growth can mean many things besides levelling up, character wise. One character could perfectly be strong but rather clumsy, only to find out how to tap that raw potential better.

Although I'd be disappointed without the little extra spice of suddenly things getting a bit more complicated.

And this RP's power balance was limited?

Because with "All powers are at a medium level, this means no field destroying attacks" as the only thing to go by then that literally basically means anything goes... Since there's no scale or example by which we were supposed to determine what "medium" is supposed to be like or how large said field is...

A 120mm mortar is "medium level" as far as field artillery goes and it definitely can destroy things ON a field, but it doesn't destroy the field itself...

Likewise a .40cal pistol is "medium level" as far as common pistol calibers go and it definitely cannot destroy a field...

Taken to the other end of the spectrum... a 15 megaton yield nuclear weapon is medium sized as far as strategic nukes go... and as to the field... well it's a nuke, I'd let your imagination work out what happens to the field...

And then there's abilities and powers which aren't in any way destructive as far as the traditional sense goes...

And the last thing I can think of is the really peculiar "technicalities" aspect... An example is Nya's "Silver Spear of Yog Shothoth" which as I quote "capable of piercing any kind of armor and searing through the most tough of defenses." And to that I will have to pause... Seriously? most tough instead of like... toughest?

Wordingwise if we take it literally then no armor or defense should be able to stop it... BUT if you block it with something that's not considered armor or defense then the game's off... Linda literally blocked it with a plushie, which nobody would consider armour or defensive...

Technicalities... So fun to play with... So fun to think about...

I didn't realize it was a basic fireball attack, sorry disregard what I just said then. (Fancy names confuse me XD)

I guess what I mean by power levels is, the bigger the attack and the long it takes to charge the more powerful it is.

Well, fancy names are part of the theme. The fireballs behave slightly different in that they burn and corrode tho.
