The smile never left Cupid's face. "I appreciate the effort," Cupid began in an easy voice, smooth as silk. "Though I prefer to think of myself as a Roman, not some guido." He looked at Kate in amusement. "You won't find any cameras here, my dear. They're not hidden either, they simply just do not exist. There are no listening devices. No bodyguards behind hidden walls," He gestured at the many bookcases surrounding the room. "Just the three of us. We are entirely secure here."

"Now," Cupid began, clasping his hands together as he propped his elbows on the desk. "What do you two lost lambs need help with? And don't forget," He flashed an all teeth smile, his sharpened fangs in plain view. "Everything comes at a price."

Kate Porter & Liam Kelling

Liam stood up from his seat. "What everyone needs Mr Abatangelo. Allies and a promise." He said grinning to reveal his own fangs. He produced a beige folder from his coat and slammed it down on the table. He pushed it towards Cupid. "This man Mr Abatangelo is Deon Erickson. I presume you've heard his name before. He used to be a highranking officer in Magnus' Vampire army during the Nightwars. Recently we have had alot of information come in that he's creating another army and trying to start a second Nightwars. We cant allow this to happen. Now before you ask whether were with SOLDIER we act alone, with no help from the humans. you could say we are guardians. We want to keep this long lasting peace between our two species."

Kate stood from her seat and came to stand beside Cupid. "All we ask for Mr Abatangelo is your full cooperation as an Ally and in time your support should we have to take more drastic measures to ensure this man does not start another war. Should this man get to power there will be no chance of taking back the Old Country Mr Abatangelo. He will become a Dictator of the entire planet allowing chaos to run rampant through the streets."

Liam stood finally to make the point abundantly clear. "What my colleague is saying Mr Abatangelo, is that we are building an Army in secret of the most reasonable vampires that wish to stop another war, to combat the threat of Deon Erickson. Should you help my friend here can manipulate minds, you will be able to control all of italy not just rome."

So these two have the audacity to imply that Deon could best him? That Cupid would be unable to claim what he wanted from this vampire when the time arose? And what's this about controlling all of Italy? He wanted to control the entire Roman Empire! Cupid arose from his seat as well, and pointed to a map hung up on the wall. "That my friends," He said in a voice as pleasant as ever before. "Is the Roman Empire. That is what I intend to control." He reached a hand out and stroked Kate's face gingerly, before letting it drop to hold her shoulder in a gentle grip. He could help them, most certainly. But after pledging his loyalty here, he would have to see what sort of offer Deon could make. Cupid was almost certain he was going to end up playing these two. "I won't do something for nothing, darling." His voice was soft and kind, but there was the undertone of a hungry beast just beneath. "You insult my culture. You imply that not agreeing with you makes me unreasonable. You refuse to look me in the eyes. I'm hurt." And Kate would feel his grief, real or not, it would feel genuine to her. "Look me in the eyes my dear, and tell me what you two can offer me here and now. If you can do that, I will help you."

Kate actually feared for her life at this point, but she remained cool and calmed. "Mr Abatangelo, I cannot offer you much, but i can pay in installments. I can write you a five hundred dollar check here and now but other than the money you may have to specify exactly what it will cost to buy your trust." Liam on the other hand had gotten nerved as soon as he decided to get a little to close for comfort. He sank back into the shadows, something his bloodline had allowed him to do. While the Kelling bloodline were not known for being great warriors some of them had been spies or even assassins which meant that being able to become one with the shadows was an ample trait to someone of those careers.

He made his way to the other side of Kate still hidden in the shadows meaning should Cupid attempt something rash and stupid he could cut it out straight away.

Five hundred dollars? Cupid held back a scoff. These two had nothing, they knew nothing. Still, they could amount to something in the future. "I need a show of trust. Something to prove that you will not betray me, so intent on keeping peace between vampires and humans as you are. Look me in the eyes and tell me that if I help you here, you two will not hinder me elsewhere. That is all I need. Then I will pledge myself to your cause, so long as your interest do not conflict with mine. Do you not trust me? Liam, in the second drawer on the right is a loaded handgun. You may use it to kill or incapacitate me at your leisure while I am dealing with our darling Kate here." And how could they refuse that offer? Guaranteed insurance when dealing with one of New York's most powerful vampires? Only a fool would pass up such a chance. "Kate, what do you say? I have placed my life in your hands, can you place yours in mine?"

Mister Jones heard the gunfire outside, followed quickly by the screaming. The agents all puled out of the club as soon as they couod, and when they left his office he went to the camera monitors. He didn't need to look at them to know who was causing such a roar.
Erickson.
He was quickly proving bad for buisness, and he hated it when buisness was interrupted. He got out his phone and flipped open his little black book. It was full of names and numbers of people who he has either met or geard about. He was looking for one in particular, and he found it easily.

Cupid. Even though him and Cupid had butted heads every now and then, Mister Jones liked Cupid very much. He was the only man he respected, feared and thought of as a friend. He dialed the number, hoping that Cupid wasn't in the middle of something very important.

Kate looked the man in the eye. "You have my word, we will stick to our end of the deal if you stick to yours. Now Mr Abatangelo can we count on your help." Liam came back out of the Shadows and stood behind Kates chair. "I can assure you Cupid we wont falter from the deal so long as you do the same I personally promise you this. From one vampire to another i believe that once we have the final group we will be a force to be reckoned with." Liam said as he stuck out his hand.

Cupid released Kate from his grip on her. "Excellent." He turned to Liam, and clasped his outstretched hand just as a phone on his desk began to ring. "We will be in touch. Now, if you will excuse me," He nodded at the two. "Mr. Kelling, Miss Porter." That was their cue to leave. Once they had done so, Cupid collapsed back into his chair with a lethargic sigh. He was turning out to be quite the popular vampire this evening. He stared at the phone for a few moments longer, allowing it to ring, before finally answering the call. "Not many people have this line. Wait, let me guess. Mister Jones?" Of all the people that could be calling him, he sincerely hoped it was the club owner. Jones had a way of somehow managing to not get under Cupid's skin most of the time. "Of course it's you. Regardless, you have impeccable timing. I had just finished dealing with two wayward sheep when you called."

Kate Porter & Liam Kelling | NYC, USA

Kate and Liam both left the Cupids Kiss rather promptly after their meeting, they had left their numbers with Cupid and had promptly left. They decided the next best place to go was to go to meet with Mr Jones, the next man on their list of potential allies.

"That could have gone worse, dont you think?" Kate said as they walked down the street towards the Club. "It could have, I do hope that he sticks to his promise or were gonna have a whole other problem later on down the lane" They continued on down the road towards the Club. When they rounded the corner however they saw the bodies lining the streets.

"Holy shit, what the fuck happened here" Kate said pulling her 1911 out of her jacket, Liam following suit.

Deon Erickson

Mithias attempted to make Erickson think about his ways, wrong right, all that good stuff. Even tried to tell him that war was beneath them. "War is beneath us? Since when? Think back to the Greeks, or even the Egyptians! They are all known for their conflicts! And using mortals to do that. Only this time, the mortals don't seem to remember who's in charge. And with that, didn't you fight in the Nightwars too?" Deon started to make his way to the airlock, only to stop part way through Mithias's spiel. "Fail? Well that's kinda funny, I don't see myself failing. It's pretty difficult to lose a war when you're not the one fighting it. Leading it on sure, but not fighting it. That is why there will still be someone to try you. And if for some reason that doesn't happen, I will kill you myself." He opens the airlock and begins to enter. "We don't have the numbers anymore to fight a war, thanks to you." Erickson left leaving his prisoner with his thoughts.

Erickson went to the top floor of his building, passing floor after floor of nearly no staff. The tower itself was still new, and Deon kept it minimally staffed for now, until he was able to muster up enough forces to be the final push to win this new war. Though his biggest problem while planning this war was the new ratio. Before humans outnumbers vampires by a huge ratio difference. Now, that ratio was even more, and many of the remaining vampires were scared shitless now. But planning is planning. A good strategist is one who can hold the most amount of territory with the least amount of soldiers.

On the top floor of his tower was his office suite, made up of a reception area, a nice lounge with a fountain, his work office that was big enough to give a speech to a small crowd, and a war room that had a table with a digital screen built into the surface. Used primarily for strategic planning. But with the building still understaffed and not yet ready for full use, everything lays await for the time when it would be needed.

Behind all the office work was his personal suite, he had only been inside it a few times, spending much of his time in Europe trying to keep things in order, and function on the west coast of the United States. But he liked this place most of all. One thing of his did survive the war, and that was a huge amount of the savings he has gathered in his lifetime. After years of good investment and planning he was now seven different rich people who were all getting into some kind of field.

Deon went through the main room in the home suite to the washroom where he took close examination of his face. "I have let myself go haven't I?" Referring to his facial hair. At first he just didn't shave because he was too focused on surviving after the mortal's last push to end him last offensive. Which wasn't much of an offensive, more of an "Oh shit everyone is dead, but maybe we can still shock and aw the humans into surrendering" attempt. Afterwards he just kept the facial hair because it made it harder for those that thought he was dead to recognize him. So now, he had no reason to keep it.

After shaving the hair off his face, and grooming up the hair on his head he entered the living suite's personal office. Much smaller then his work office, simply a place where he could think with out the rest of the world. Yes this tower was overkill, but it was intended to survive a war. Sitting down at his desk he made a call to one of his staff members. "Get me a secure line, and send someone downstairs to make sure the guest doesn't starve. And get me a private line, after that you can go home."

After all was said and done he grabbed his office phone and made his call. "It's me, I'll be in the top floor suite. I look forward to seeing you in person. We have a lot we need to take care of. Sadly things will have to be put on a little bit of a faster pace now."

Hank Miller

Hank woke up in a hospital bed half in shock, half feeling "Holy shit I think something just tried to punch its way out of me". As soon as he tried to sit up pain burst through his entire torso, it didn't feel like anything was broken, but his chest felt strained, on a major scale. "Wow wow wow." An older nurse came in trying to make Hank rest on the bed again. "Look, I get that you may be confused, but trying to push yourself now will only make things worse for you. You need to rest up while the doctor finishes his paperwork." Hank was still confused, last he remembered he was... he was in a parking lot, he was shooting. Then he keeled over in pain, had something hit him? Or... "You were lucky Mr. Miller, a nice young girl brought you in just in time to resuscitate you. A minute later and you may have just been in the morgue below us. I mean, in all my years here, I don't think I have seen someone have a heart attack as bad as you and survive." A heart attack? He knew it was coming, for months that's all he could hear, about how his heart was getting weak, getting sick. "I need to go, where is this girl now?" Hank tried to sit up again only to get stopped by the nurse. "Now hold on a moment there, you just woke up, you were out for days. Don't try and be a hero now."

Hank didn't have time for this. "Where is the girl, she's.... She's my daughter." This changed the expression on the nurse's face to a look of concern. "Oh... well she left about two days ago. I mean I half wondered if she was a blood sucker because only a few hours after she left a huge amount of our blood supply went missing. But the fact that shes your youngster can eliminate her from that list." Hank didn't feel like getting into details about Kathryn, so he just let the nurse ramble on. "Now I get that you are in a hurry to leave, but I can't let you do that until the Doctor approves you to leave. Once that happens we can--" There was shouting going on down the hall a bit, Hank heard the mention of someone collapsing. "Oh my, I'll be right back sweet heart." She ran off to assist the other nurses in helping in what ever situation was going on.

Hank took this as his chance to get out of here. Depending where he was at he should be able to get a cab or something and make his way back to his RV, and continue while he still had a beating heart. Standing up wasn't easy though, he fell twice before he was able to lean against a walker that was set aside in the room. God he hated walkers, said he would rather die then be forced to use one. But here he was, swallowing his pride so he could go finish his revenge scheme. None of the staff stopped him as he left his room, or as he wondered down the many halls, getting lost several times. The receptionist tried as he exited but nothing she did could stop him, even calling security they would get here too late to stop him. So he kept limping outside to the soon to be new world.

Kathryn Miller

"Kathryn, take some A- down to the basement and drop it off for the new guy, then go home. My night is done, so that means yours is too." Kathryn just nodded after receiving her orders. After taking her father to the hospital she sat around for a couple hours before the heavy smell off blood started to overwhelm her, so she took as much of the blood as she could and ran off, soon meeting up with one of Erickson's lackeys who was looking for some low level staff. "Godlike" as he stated was the only real requirement. Everything else was personal preference.

She made due, and she knew this was just until she knew a way to try to convince her father she was on his side... more or less. Though one thing she did hate was the outfit, it was like one of the classic maid dresses. It was tight on her and had an annoying short skirt. The only real difference between this and the old maid dress were the colors. Blue primarily with light green highlights. She still hated it.

Reaching the express elevator she worked her way to sub-level 7-b, the prison level. She'd never been down here before, and at first it seemed nice. But as she got further down she started to feel less and less comfortable as it started to look more like a concrete prison. She made her way to the respective cell and opened the first door on the airlock. It opened with a Whoosh as the air pressure from the airlock changed. She entered and saw on the small screen who was in this cell, Mithias Voromere. This is the second time she had seem him recently. The fact that this is happening right by the time her dad finally caught up to her was strange. She was starting to wonder about a connection. But then she realized, what if Mithias was her ticket to freedom? If anyone could convince her father that she wasn't a monster it would for sure be the vampire who fought for humans right?!

She opened the second airlock door, dropping the blood bag as the first airlock door shut itself. "Don't ask any questions, I don't have time to answer. We have a short window of opportunity to get out of here while the day shift is leaving. Once they leave and the night shift start entering it will be too late, we won't get another opportunity to do this." She looked at how the man was pinned to the chair, it looked as if it was designed to never be opened with out brute strength... or separation of the hands. "Okay... So I have no idea how to get you out of that with out causing a lot of pain to you." She said with a concerned look as she inspected the wrist bindings. They day shift was leaving early today, from what she could tell this rarely happened. There may never be a window like this again to sneak someone out of here.

Allison knew that shots from outside meant nothing good, she could figure out that much. She put out her cigarette and was about to get moving when Mattias passed her with remarkable speed. Fast...

"Allison, you and Mattias are gonna have to find out who gunned down the civilians. We cant help out in the field until you can clear our names."

"Got it!" she replied as she sprinted outside and tried to catch up with Mattias, which proved to be harder than expected...

After a while she finally managed to catch up with him in an alleyway, "Huff, you are really fast I give you that. Since you have time for a smoke I take it you know where we have to look to find our gunner. Mind telling me your plan before you run off again?"

@Remipa Awesome

At the sound of a kind voice, the ragged vampire in the chair slowly lifted his head. It was a young woman vampire speaking in hushed tones of escape. Mithias furrowed his brow at the rush of urgency. "Who are you?" He asked. Whoever she was, she was on his side, and had brought blood. Mithias looked at the bag that she had dropped, reading its contents by its hue. His thirst was strong enough to make it difficult to concentrate, and he unabashedly stared at it. "If you're planning on maiming me, you'd better give me that blood bag first."

As she moved to carry out her plan and Mithias drank, he realized how foolhardy this idea likely was. He had to stop her before she got herself or both of them killed. "A plan is nothing short of suicide if it hasn't been thuroughly thought through, my would-be saivor. I see no weapons in that tight, rediculous dress of yours, and certainly not a saw. And if you are still able to cut off my hands, I would be in no condition to fight effectively. Do you have weapons outside? Blood? Have you disabled the cameras?" Mithias clenched and unclenched his fingers anxiously.

Mattias leaned against one of two walls encompassing the alley, giving his cigarette a drag as Allison approached. "Huff, you are really fast I give you that. Since you have time for a smoke I take it you know where we have to look to find our gunner. Mind telling me your plan before you run off again?" He stared at her for a few moments before taking out his cigarette pack.

"You want one?" He asked casually. "Our gunner's got to be that Deon fucker, and yeah, he's here in the city. The whole place reeks of him and his kind. As for a plan? I suppose you and I could just valiantly charge in to whatever fortress of solitude he has himself locked up in. Might be a good way to die." The werewolf shakes his head slowly. "No, I don't have a plan." Just then, Mattias sniffed the air carefully. Peering towards the end of the alley revealed a regal looking man travelling down the street, a gold-topped cane in hand. Mattias recognized Cupid Abatangelo as the man went on his way, not once glancing towards the pair of mercenaries within the narrow backway.

Cupid slowly nodded his head at Jones' words, a gesture the club owner would be unable to appreciate. "Certainly my friend, I will be sure to let you know if anything of the sort happens. Now, I have pressing matters I must attend to." After exchanging farewells, Cupid began an attempt to bring some amount of order to his chaotic desk.

Cupid cursed under his breath before answering the phone.

"It's me, I'll be in the top floor suite. I look forward to seeing you in person. We have a lot we need to take care of. Sadly things will have to be put on a little bit of a faster pace now."

Lips slowly twitching into a smile, Cupid responded. "Excellent. I will be arriving shortly." In mere moments, the vampire was striding out the doors of the Cupid's Kiss, his cane firmly in his grasp.

It didn't take long to find Deon's complex, and Cupid stepped inside without hesitation. Time to get down to business.

----The previous night-----
Vladimir found himself able to sleep for the first night in about a week. Not because he was still dealing with working with teams..or even getting used to working for someone in general, but rather hi insomnia had kicked in. Alas, this sleep was not meant to last as a rather old fashioned flip phone lit up and rang on the nightstand. He slowly opened one eye and grabbed the phone, his voice sounded slightly gravelly from sleep. "What?" Upon hearing the voice of a fellow soldier member and dealing with the usual protocol he sat up. "You want me with which team?...where are they? great....Plane..no, I don't care how important I am not fly-" He snapped the phone shut and glared at it. Apparently he had no choice. Within the hour he found himself in a giant metal tube that decided to take flight.

His eyes closed while his hands white knuckle clenched the arm rests with a forced meditation. He would be fine. Peace however, was not meant to last for him. A voice pierced his concentration, a rather irritating voice coming from the person who sat next to him. "Oh honey are you afraid of flying?" A small snort escaped him. "I am no more afraid of flying then you are of your natural hair color or food in a solid state" The blonde quieted down and Vlad was left to his own devices.

------Present day/night--------
Vladimir sat as he was given the mission along with locations. He would meet with them that night, help them out. He was also told about the werewolf and the mercy that was hired on. He would be able to find them by the werewolf's scent so as not to blow whatever cover they may or may not have established. Easy enough.

At least, it would have been if there wasn't gun shots echoing from where the team was supposed to be. great. just fantastic. With a slightly more hurried pace, Vlad continues following the werewolf scent, which was proving to be more difficult with the layers of other scents everywhere. He slowed when he reached the clubs and put forth the effort to act natural...as natural as a man with pirate boots could be. He quickly inhaled and silently walked into the narrow back way. "werewolf check...where are the rest?" His visible eye flicked from the two, his tone seemed almost like he was talking to himself more then them.

A hunger grows.
A Seed deep within, retching itself free.
Clawing out of your bowels, twisting itself through your gut.
The agony grows, ascending out as you cry out as it crawls out.
The birth of desire.

His long fingers clacked away at the keyboard. Each stroke driven by a madness, rushing itself as his eyes fixed themselves upon the screen. The characters appearing behind the blinking bar, and as if by magic, disappearing as he furiously erased the words. Changing his mind as he continued to type out his queries only to receive denial of access. Something went wrong, very wrong. Replaying the image in his mind, accepting the laptop, wishing Mithias well, and turning around. Mithias' steps towards the car, a stride to mimic as he took his own steps back into the complex. An explosion behind him, the boom which made his head snap back behind him. The crunching of metal, the vampire's lips, the paramedics. He remembered the loss, an ill feeling as he was dragged away by the other SOLIDER members that rushed to the scene. That car-bomb, within moments the files for Mithias Varomere were redacted, pulled out of the official records and kept tighter than a...

The ten roses dropped in a glass vase, slightly wilted now. An assortment of flowers, yellow, lavender, coral with a single red rose blooming in the middle of the arrangement. Fresh cut? Perhaps, but certainly meaning more to him now as his visit to the hospital was met with bitter disappointment. Regretfully, it seemed Mithias was there, but never quite stayed long. But for a sire to die leaving his thrall behind? Oh how painful it was to be away from him, his presence was intoxication in itself. His scent, his voice, his form, ever present in the mind. How like shadows they flitted and lingered on, refusing to move to another thought. Obsession was it? No, this was n Obsession, this was... Devotion.

What lengths would you go through to stay loyal to a man? What ways would you show your unwavering support to someone who is lost? How long would you wait for his return until you decide to find him yourself? Short of digging yourself a grave beside his? Those roses would have stayed fresher longer if it were not for the crimson fluid beneath them. For you see, roses were not vampires, and did not drink blood. Yet his master would need it to recover. Yes, yes he would. He would take these dying roses to him, and feed him the blood that shall make him break free. Free from wherever it was they took him. He would be the one to do it, for he had done so many things for the sire now.

Those pitiful begging cries for mercy. All he had to do was tell where they took Mithias. But no, he had to make it difficult, to claim he didn't know. To shoot a man through the heart was a waste of a bullet if he knew nothing, but to shoot a man slowly to the point where he begs for his life? Torment indeed, the first bullet was simply aimed at his captive's foot, the man who had barred him from joining Mithias. The second into the knee of the same leg. The third? into his flank. Oh he had some nerve to go against the revolver, but in this twisted game, where six chambered held five bullets, there was a chance for the gun to not have that killer shot. As such the fourth shot aimed at the man's nethers was blank. But the next spot was his chest, and only tears streaming down the man's cheek could attest to the pleas of "I don't know." Another empty chamber, another spin, another click. Now with the gun pointed between his eyes, would the man press his luck?

Memories disappeared, neither a hint of remorse or guilt across the red-head's face as he scrutinized the screen. SOLIDER would never know. They thought he was just a desk officer. Just a lowly informations officer, stuck behind the wood looking at the monitors. Well here was looking at a monitor now. His slightly unbuttoned red shirt covered in drying blood.

"I will find you... Mithias..." Lucan whispered to himself in the sanctuary of his own home.

"I never say no when it's about cigarettes, or beating up some assholes but that's another story." Allison responded to Mattias offer as she snatched herself a cigarette. She lit her cigarette with her lighter she took out from one of her pockets and took a pull on it. "Well it's good that you know that he's in the city, but we can't go around and check every corner for his whereabouts, he'll be gone the moment he picks up that some people turning everything topsy-turvy, looking for a guy who coincidentally matches his description. Although I guess you know that already, but as for the plan I think we'll be able to figure something out once we find him."

Meanwhile Mattias peered towards the end of the alley. "Hey, are you even listening?" She asked Mattias as a man walked into the alley. "werewolf check...where are the rest?" Allison stared at the man for a few moments before she finally responded "...Who the heck are you?"

Well, Kathryn hadn't thought this through that well. "Okay, no I don't have weapons or tools. But there are no cameras on the lower levels other then the security offices, so we'd only have to worry about the main level while we make a run for it." She thought about it for a bit. "The security office down the hall is bound to have weapons. I am not sure what kind but useful ones hopefully. And with that most the staff has left early and the late night screw has not arrived yet. There will be no other chance for this." She was panicking, she was scared of how Deon would React when he realized where she came from, who she was related to, who was following her to this building now. Waiting for his attempt to get a good shot on the man that killed his family.

Deon Erickson

Deon met Cupid in one of the middle levels, even though he was working with allies he still didn't like too many people in his personal quite until everything was in motion. When the sparks were flying was a good way to tell who was really on your side. The floor was an abandoned storage level, a few crates here and there, but nothing much. Also being kept in reserve for a future date. This whole building was just for show until that said date. "Glad you could make it Cupid, and thank you for coming in at such a short notice. But things have... changed." Deon led Cupid through the scattered crates and boxes that the floor was made up of. "Soldier is now aware that I am still alive and well, but they are dealing with public distrust, an will be for a while. Which will buy me time to pull off something that hasn't been done in a long time. Something that should have been taken care of long before the Nightwars."

Deon brought Cupid to a long metal crate, large enough to hold a human body. "I don't have the experience, or the know how to keep an empire alive. At least for long periods of time. And with most the old bloods dead, with the exception of a select few." Erickson eyed his guest. "You'd count too I guess. But we are now more desperate then ever. It's like Salem all over again."

Deon started to casually walk around the metallic crate, running his fingers across it as he walked. "It's time to put the mortals back on the bottom of the pyramid again. It's time, to bring back the one person who was able to force them into submission." He stopped on the opposite side of the the metal crate and smiled at Cupid. "It's time to bring father home."

A few miles away from Erickson's building, the United Nations prepares to discuss a meeting Erickson could care less about. All he cares about is the security that had been provided. Some of which by Soldier due to recent Vampire activity. Still believing the shooting at the club to be an isolated incident, no one batted an eye to the small security detail of four highly trained agents. Agent number five though, had been sent on an unofficial patrol by the building's backup generator, and fuel storage. The structure is built so that if something were to happen to the fuel storage the rest of the building would be safe, but if some of those measures were tampered with there would be nothing to stop a total massacre. Fergus O'Brian stood over two dead guards wearing his borrowed Soldier Uniform smiling at the building's fire systems. With the waterlines cut off, and replaced with access to the fuel lines, there was nothing stopping the dying vampire from taking his lighter and setting the building ablaze. He found the camera that had witnessed him kill the guards with the stolen sidearm, and smiled as he lit his lighter and dropped it into the spilled fuel across the floor. The explosion would kill a lot, and burn even more. But with over 60% of the bodies surviving the blast, due to the remaining fire precautions the surviving members of the UN would demand punishment, many would demand blood. Anyone with basic computer skill could trace several encrypted messages from Soldier bases, many of which discuss events similar to what had just happened.

Deon looked out the window as the explosion went off. "I really wished that had gone off a month from now. but resources are limited. And time is even more. But that should buy us some time against Soldier from investigating us. I have more things running in play that should keep buying us time, while rising the paranoia and distrust in humans." He looked back to Cupid. "I need your help to save Father. I can get into Romania, but I don't think I can get Father out. It would be even harder if I tried to resurrect him inside the country. I need your help getting him out. If you need money to do so I will pull up what ever is needed. I just need connections, and transportation. If you do this, I will make sure Father takes note of your assistance when the mortals fall, and the fruits of war are divided." He walked up next to Cupid and looked him in the eyes, only a foot away from him. "Can you help out an old friend, and his family?"
