@NyanCaxx Gonna deny the character for now, there's a few issues I have with the CS:
  • I think she should be a bit older, closer to 30 than 20 at least. Not many well known bounty hunters are as young as she is.
  • What exactly are the stealth field generator's capabilities? Does she become totally invisible or is it just like an active camo thing? How long can it be used for? Does it short out from anything, maybe water?
  • What about the ship's stealth generator? How long does that go for? Does it use us power in other parts of the ship?
  • Her backstory could use a bit more to it. When did she train extensively in Enhani martial arts? What was she like before the cybernetics? Where did her life start? Was she a poor girl on a backwater planet? Was she a slave? How did she become so obsessed with becoming the perfect hunter? What made the Empire take notice of her as a bounty hunter?

I do like the character idea, it's pretty cool. Just a few changes are needed.

@Specter189 Within realistic reason still, I know its a sci-fi universe and all. A cycler rifle is a weapon of the Tuskens who are native to Tattooine, so unless your character raided their village or something it's unlikely they'd have one.

Nothing wrong with a typical blaster. If you want your char to be a walking arsenal with multiple weapons then that's cool, as long as there's enough flaws to the character.

@Heat Huh, odd, from the description I got Cyclers were pretty commonly found among more primitive folk. Though its whatevs, I can just lable it a "high caliber slugthrower" I prefer 'em to blasters because you can actually be rather stealthy with one, plus the special ammunition you can load and also because they're generally cool as hell. I'll pack other weapons, naturally, so a holdout blaster will probably be a thing, going for a more subversive and indirect approach with my combat style. Gives an edge against auretiise who know they've got a Mando on them and prepare for a direct engagement.

@The Fox Without If he gets told he's a di'kutla chakaar who is jare'la, its totally a sign of endearment, not negative in connotation at all, nope, no sir

@Roosan The sheet looks good, I'm assuming he doesn't have a personal starship because he's still under control of the Hutt.

Only thing I'm not big on is the Stealth Field Generator. Those were really common during the Old Republic era and not so much during the era this is set in.

@Heat
Ah, no. He doesn't have a ship because he saves all his money. But he wasn't ever under the control of the Hutt because he wasn't born a slave. Indentured servants owe a debt and can't leave their place of employment until it's paid off but they aren't owned by their employers and their children aren't owned either. So his parents had a debt, saved up enough money to pay it off, the money was stolen, he left the planet at their request, saved up money, came back, found his parents dead and then decided to save up his money for revenge instead of freeing them.

And if it's a deal breaker, I can drop the stealth field generator. I like the idea of them but it's not a big thing.

@Roosan Yeah, drop the stealth field generator and it is good to go. Then you can move it to the characters tab.

Decided that since this RP doesn't have either a droid, or a party asshat/sociopath my character will be both : D

This one laughs at this meatbag's assumption that they will be such a hilariously outdated and inferior model, though superbly made as it may have been.

That is a really good point. KotOR is my favourite era of Star Wars but I often forget how ridiculously far removed it is in time from the 'main' time period.

HK-90001 then?

In all seriousness, essentially. Since Czerka survived well into the ET through typical Czerka methods, I am playing it off as if someone had the absolutely terrible idea of trying to redo the HK-series once again, and of course it explodes in their face. At the moment, I'm looking at the Empire as having contracted the company to make a specialist series of droids for taking down very particular targets.

Sounds great to me, I look forward to robo-shenanigans. Whoever at Czerka found the blueprints for the HK series, read some old tales about them and thought "Yeah, there's nothing that could go wrong here!" should probably be fires or imprisoned though.

@Alfhedil 6 BBY, Empire has full control over the galaxy. There have been murmurs of a rebellion but nothing has come out of it.

Glorious, that actually helps quite a bit in terms of adjusting some background to fit. Thinking of having the HK project shifted back a few years to have been part of the Clone Wars since those were only 20 or so years in the past. Any opposition to anti-force user subroutines? :D

@Alfhedil Actually, according to the wiki the HK design was lost for some time until the Confederacy discovered it on Mustafar. They were going to mass produce them then Vader wiped out the engineers working on the project.

You could have your droid be one of the prototypes that got off the world and turned itself to a full, self aware bounty hunting droid? Or it could be one of the HK-77 units that was recovered from the world later and found its way into the criminal underworld?

@Heat Thinking of perhaps using the HK-50/51 as a base, since it could be assumed that one or two of them could have survived in some corner of the galaxy just chilling in a scrap-yard until some enterprising soul decided it could be of use. At the moment, the back story of the HK-133 series sees them as a weapon developed by the Republic and Czerka to counter separatist movements before the Clone Wars, but then quickly distanced when not only their sadistic tendencies come to light, but also due to how it would look for the Republic to be using droids during that time. Czerka, being more than a little pissy about this move, goes to alter the contract a bit for the CIS and works on creating variants for the purpose of taking down Jedi, only to later hire them out again to the Republic under Palpatine to provide some extra muscle for Order 66. In typical Sith and Czerka fashion, once all is said and done they decide the entire program isn't worth their time anymore, and cancel it entirely.
