Willa O'Shea

"It must go into a cave of some sort. If you want to try and get down there I can help pull you up if you get stuck. I can go first if you want to help lower me down." Willa pulled open her bag and slipped her jeans on underneath her skirt. Sliding the skirt off she tossed it into her bag. "I don't see anything else that might help us get in there. The light doesn't shine here enough to see all the way down to the bottom. "Willa took her skirt and the end of it around the long strap of her bag and gave him one end. "Hold on tight. Here I go!" Willa slid down the side of the hole. While she had the bag on one end she was trying to catch a grip on the side so she could hold on. She started to find footholds partway down. They weren't great footholds but they were enough for her small feet.

The last two feet or so she could see the spikes randomly all over the bottom. She could get her feet around them and walk but the problem was you couldn't see them right off. "Ben there are spikes down here you should be careful."

Paon sighed as they attempted to help him. He lightly grasped on Guy's arm...for he actually can't see very well right now so he can't tell who is who....and gets on with them. "I weigh the same as my true form...I have no idea how to explain it other then it's like I'm condensed when human." he looks slight to the left of the two. "If you get me fully patched up...ill be sure to help you and whoever you are working with.....who are you working with exactly that you need spikes to keep things out?" things like dragons. He shuddered somewhat at the thought of landing wrong and dying.

He then suddenly tilted his head. He heard a voice. With his hand still suppressing the blood flow he does a head tilt toward the sound. "I had companions with me...that might be at least one of them. Would you mind checking it out? With haste?" he did not want anyone to be impaled.

Eric chuckled and shook his head. "offended no. I'm willing to work with your schedule. Now, let's show you around beginning with you new lab partner" that was a bit of a joke as Peter was more of a tool then a partner. Eric led him out and noded to Peter.

Peter stood and flicked his wings. "Charlie this is Mr.Right." Peter walked forward and gave Charlie a handshake and a smile. "Hello Charlie. What I do around here is I collect for you...lets you focus on research" Eric have a head nod and the three moved forward.

Eric showed him the larger rooms where some scientists were watching the behavior habits of some subjects, then the labs where it was designed to hold even the toughest subjects with ease, then an office with no name tag. "This will be yours. Anything you need you ask for and someone will get it for you. The goal is for you to be able to focus on researching...for however long each day you can. You build your schedule and get back to me. Now I have to go do something..,Mr.Right can answer any questions you have. Eric went into an elevator and went up to an area that only he had access to.

Peter stood with an expectant look. This guy had to have questions...they always did.

"Supernatural Underground buddy, you and your friends are allowed to come aboard the train. It's heading to... Think it's safe to say Al?" The friendly Scotsman first answers then questions. "He's blind, he won't be able to betray us even if he tried. There is a train around two miles away now which is heading to an underground forest underneath Alaska. It is a reasonably big sanctuary for you supernatural beings, dragons and werewolves and so on have enough room to get out any animalistic urges." The German states.

"Oi miss, need a more stable platform? Al move it in." He states as the small platform moves parallel to Willa, the Scotsman offering his hand to her. "Easy now, don't want to end up like your friend, he took the painful way down. I'll tend to him in a minute." "We should introduce ourselves, I am Albert, he's Simon. What about you dragon?" Al says, ignoring the dangling Willa and trying to tend to Paon's wound.

Graham finishes his trip to the graveyard. Returning to the complex one of the scientists tell Graham that there's someone new in the higher ranks as he meets up with Hal in the arena. "Hear about the new fella? Rumours about him being a big fan of yours but onto more pressing matters, we need to contain the new shapeshifter species when we have more of them and find them a name." Hal tells Graham, trying to cut bits off the husk in the arena. "How about suit shifters? The actual suits themselves could be recovered if we skinned it." Mal interjects, trying to skin the thing to no avail. "We've got our work cut out for us, become something useful Mal, maybe a sharp ice cream scoop?" Graham almost shouts, already dreading the experience ahead of him with such an ugly abomination.

Willa takes his hand as he helps her down and she pushed the platform further out to catch Benji. "Ben come on down there is a platform. Just make sure you land on it." She turned to the Scotsman. "Did you say Paon was hurt?" She grabbed her stuff as it was thrown down. She shoved her skirt back into her bag and put the bag over her shoulder again. She waited for Benji to come down and meanwhile she took in the appearance of the man. She found nothing all that memorable about him.

"Well I am pleased to meet you." She looked at Paon's injuries and knelt beside him. Opening her bag she pulls out an old jar full of cream and applies it to Paon's shoulder. "Don't worry Paon, this will heal up your shoulder in no time at all and it will help the pain til it does."

Benji kept a tight grip on the skirt end of the makeshift rope Willa had handed him and helped lower he down, letting go once she was safely at the bottom. The fact there were spikes at the bottom made him wonder if this was some kind of trap, it seemed like a lot work to be an animal trap. He half-shifted, his claws were shorter but this way was quicker and he didn’t want to leave Willa down there alone in case there were more people down there than he thought. He jumped from one side of the hole to the other side digging his claws deep into the dirt and sliding down the side. He slowed himself down some with his feet and just before he reached the bottom he jumped from the side onto the small platform that had just pulled up near the entrance of the hole.

Benji sized up the three men, one of them was injured and he had the same scent they had tracked here so Benji assumed he was the dragon. The other two men, Simon and Albert, looked and smelled human, though many supernaturals did as well. Paon did not look like he was being held against his will and one the men seemed to be helping the dragon with his wound. “Found your friend then?” He said to Willa as he shifted back to his human appearance. He brushed off the dirt from his hands and kept alert in case there were more people in tunnels, hiding for an ambush of something. “What’s with all the spikes? You guys setting traps to catch something?” He asked with suspicion and not bothering to hide his distrust.

----------------------------

Charlie shook Mr. Right’s hand and smiled. “Nice to meet you.” He said. He liked the sound of this guy doing the collecting, at his level they collected a lot of the easier to get samples like blood or extremities such as wings. Maybe if he didn’t have to interact act directly with the specimens it would be easier. Specimens? You mean sentient, practically human beings that would be tortured and killed for your research. His conscience wasn’t going to let him off the hook.

The thought of his own office was very tempting, working in a cubicle with so many others close by was distracting. His own office, with people who worked beneath him and he could have them bring him coffee or lunch like an actual successful person. This was basically everything he’d wanted for most of his life actually being offered to him. All you’d have to do is make a deal with the devil. Charlie was relieved when Eric had to leave, hopefully it meant he’d have some time to think things over.

“So, you’re supernatural right? How do you feel about all this, I mean you’re kind understands this is for the greater good?” He asked phrasing his question in way that hopefully wouldn’t sound suspicious. He was glad Eric had allowed him to meet Mr. Right as he had a few questions and asking a supernatural who worked with the scientists could help answer some of them. “Also I wouldn’t have to go near the Wendigo right? I get that it’s a very environmentally friendly way to dispose of biological waste but honestly that thing gives me the wiggins.” He said as he looked around the office and tried out the chair. It was a nice office chair, leather and spun around, very comfortable.

"The guide, mad woman she is thought spikes hidden from sight would be a good deterrent... She did collapse from phycoactive drug poisoning from a Scientist Pet spiking her drink just after she ordered it but for some reason we didn't remove them, she still has the odd side effect from that stuff." Albert states, answering the question. "A werewolf now, you fancy heading to an underground forest in Alaska for a new home? Your wolf side would have all the space he needs, a bed big enough for both you and him as well as ample food." Simon says to Benji, getting out a bottle of a really strong scotch as well as five cups from a small compartment filled with ten cups and multiple bottles of various alcoholic beverages.

Albert then begins sending the platform back to the station, the motor making a sore humming noise. "You lot fancy a drink? It's going to take twenty minutes before the big train sets off, really cosy thing you know, we don't fight the scientists but we do make everyone comfortable that is for certain." Simon states, handing the cups of scotch around.

Paon feels himself slipping from sanity as he started to pass out. "I dunno what you put on my shoulder...but I feel like a nap...or petting bunny rabbits while whistling" he laughed and hisses as his shoulder twinged with pain. He grabbed at the alcohol offered and failed to get it twice before grasping it and downing it. Probably the worst idea he had...other then wearing sunglasses at night or falling down a hole. He never drinks.

He hiccuped before he passed out fully. It would be interesting to see how they would move him...perhaps rolling him would work...or slapping him.

Peter tilted his head as Charlie spoke. most interesting questions..hmm he leaned against the doorway before answering. "Supernatural is such a...weird term for me. I am fae and as for my kind he chuckled a bit. "you could say we happily help Doctor McConnel and all that he does. Not that there is any others of my kind that you can find." cryptic as ever Peter knows he just left Charlie with confusion to figure out about him.

Peter studied the guy before continuing. "you will not deal with the wendigo...I get the joy of feeding it. Honestly, the wendigo is the least terrifying individual here." he held up a hand as onyx claws slid into view then out of view. "I am the most efficient lab helper here...you would never have to collect again...and you would get better materials as I am good at what I do. His violet eyes bore into Charlie's. "how it would work is you would tell me what and how much you need and I would get it. Typically the more dangerous the subject the more likely I am to go in alone. Your mind is too important to risk.

Peter walked forward and tilted his head. "do not doubt what you do here Charlie...for you are a part of something great. A new start for the human race. Without it how would people move forward?" he gave a smile of perfect teeth. "I am ready to help you change the world when you are ready to change it...just ask for the ingredients" he went back to the doorway. "Do you have any other questions for me?"

Benji eyed the men, Albert and Simon, suspiciously at the mention of a mad woman and an underground forest. Was the supernatural underground actually underground? He sighed, it probably was. “You wouldn’t happen to be part of the Supernatural Underground would you?” He asked guessing that he had already met the mad woman they had referred to and was not looking forward to another meeting with her. It wasn’t very shocking to hear her brain might be fried from a psychoactive drug; that would explain a bit of her craziness.

He accepted the cup of scotch Simon handed out, “Thanks,” he said. Paon had taken a drink as well and almost immediately passed out. Benji sniffed his drink before he drank from it but it smelled only of scotch and if it was spiked with anything he didn’t detect it. He guessed the dragon couldn’t hold his liquor, at least not after having his shoulder impaled. He took a long drink of about half the cup and nodded in approval, it was good scotch. “Anyway if you are Supernatural Underground I might have already had a run in with your leader; we didn’t get along.” He said calmly as he drank another mouthful of scotch. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to go to Alaska, it sounded like a good place, but if Willa wasn’t going he probably wouldn’t either, it was nice to have a friend around and he didn’t feel like giving that up just yet. He glanced her way hoping to get some inclination of how she felt about these strangers. If they were with the Underground he wasn't sure he could trust them and the thought of going somewhere completely new with strangers he couldn't completely trust seemed like a bad plan.

-------------------

“Right, Fae, I wasn’t completely sure so I didn’t want to insult you if you weren’t.” Charlie said, he was left more curious than satisfied by Mr. Right’s answer. Did he mean he was a one of a kind sort of Fae and that’s why his kind happily help Dr. McConnel or that most of the supernaturals were happy to help? Yeah, the supernaturals are all very happy to be caged and harvested. Who wouldn’t like that, what an honor to become the next frivolous product? Was Mr. Right lying, or maybe just twisting the truth, because they wanted him to accept the offer. He liked that thought, they really wanted to work with him, and he felt validated as scientist. He also liked hearing he wouldn’t have to go near the Wendigo, Charlie had seen it once in person and a few times in his nightmares. He wouldn’t have to collect, as the Fae put it, anymore which would make this a lot easier maybe he could live with it, if the work was worthy. They way Mr. Right explained everything was very persuasive and Charlie was starting to see the situation in a new light.

He could leave now, quit, try and find work at another, less intense lab and maybe get away from all this supernatural stuff. Doing that wouldn’t have any effect on what was going on here, what would continue to go on with or without him. If he stayed he could focus his research on something even more worthy, more military equipment to help protect soldiers or maybe even some medical research. These experiments were going to continue with or without him, he might as well focus it towards something good. All it takes to buy your soul is a nice office and a raise? Charlie ignored that thought, he didn’t believe in souls anyhow. He could do good here, he was sure of it now, he just needed to focus on the science and let the rest fall away. His quitting wouldn't make a difference, he couldn’t bring down the labs and he wasn’t going to go around setting potentially dangerous supernaturals free.

“You’re right, dude, I’m convinced. I mean if I turned down an offer this amazing, well I wouldn’t be anywhere as clever as you all think I am right? I’d have to be fool, I mean an office and the chance to focus completely on my work, so how can I say no? I do have one more question. Are there any dress code rules for this level? Any fascist prohibitions on hats in the office?” Charlie asked his last question mostly as a joke. He had convinced himself to accept the offer and that annoying voice in the back of his head had seemed to give up for now but something still felt wrong. Maybe it was the unsettling way Mr. Right’s eyes pierced right through him. It was like the guy was studying him, like he was subject to be studied rather than the scientist.

"You will either never meet her again or get used to her, as I said she was still suffering from being poisoned... She's normally a lot more understanding. If you're in doubt then remember this: Who else will you turn to? If you're from that city theatre then Edge didn't save you, the Underground buses saved you, we don't financially benefit from just rescuing people for the sake of being kind. We don't pressure you into joining us, we barely even talk about the benefits really. I think Edge benefits from having you supernaturals with them more then just emotionally. We only benefit from our own people, we don't expect anything else from anyone else. You wouldn't be committing to the Underground if you decide to live in Alaska with the others. Albert states, finishing his drink and pouring another one for himself.

The little platform continues past a boarded up station. "Don't mind that, we had to board up some other platforms to stop anyone finding the route." Simon wearily blurts out, he looks very tired and worn out, the biting cold is probably what keeps him awake.

Peter was indeed studying this one. Particularly intrigued by what he saw in Charlie's eyes. A hint of doubt. He watched it dissipate with glee and tilted his head at the questions. "dress code would be whatever you would be comfortable in. Especially since at this level there is a higher risk of various things getting on you that could ruin your clothes. As for hats..this is your office. Nobody will get offended by a hat." he chuckled somewhat before tapping his chin.

"I suppose that would be it for tonight...but you will need a lab coat and a new ID...I can accompany you to make sure you're able to get back up here." he snapped. "I know...would you like to see me in action? I believe I can find something to take you in with me for. If you are up for it that is?" this would be a test. If Charlie freaked out then he would be on peters watch list. If he was fine, then he would fully accept working with him.

Willa O'Shea

Willa watched Paon pass out from the liquor and smiled softly. She knew he was a guy who was fearful of hurting anyone. She understood. She didn't use her powers unless it was for defense. Willa re-positioned Paon so he would be more comfortable. She was listening to Benji and the old man.

"Alaska? That is the only safe place? Really? I mean it's not bad because they would be secluded but it is because of the same reason." She looked at them. "If we are all in one place then it's easy to capture us, kill us, whatever they want to do and the public would be none the wiser." She looked back at Benji. "We are safer mixed into the crowds of everyday society."

"It is a giant cave which is almost twenty miles wide with many exits, it has capacity for a thousand supernatural beings but we haven't filled it up yet. There are more then enough escape routes and there is certain protection. If you think about that Edge facility; the old theatre then there was no security, just refugees and if the rumours are true then two supernatural beings who wanted to fight... Two untrained supernatural beings defending a theatre full of people. A thousand supernatural beings and security as well defending a place with many emergency plans? The scientists have no hope in hell even if they did find it under a bitterly cold mountain under a country that doesn't have a large population of supernatural beings on the surface." Albert argues, picturing the underground forest again.

"Al does make a few good points... We've got around five or six more minutes before we get there." Simon informs, fiddling about with certain parts of the platform that do little things that are barely noticeable. " Anyone thought yet about how we're gonna move that dragon? Because I am surprised he hasn't broken a bit of the platform off and ended up like that dragon a year ago." Simon then questions, nudging Paon with his foot slightly so a part of the platform can change.

Mel followed the trail left by her sister. It was odd. It did not lead towards anywhere she was familiar with. Neither did she have the observatory to guide her either. It was quite the predicament for her. She was flying over the woods and down into a clearing before she touched down and started walking.

The light shimmered around her as she conjured an image of what her sister had been doing. She had been walking around, trailing another pair of supernaturals before walking off to the side after a third one. Mel came to the place that the trail ended, a pitfall.

She raised her trident towards the hole and it started shining. "Spikes.." she said with a gruff voice. "Quite rude that is," she made the area light up a bit more and changed the way the light hit her eyes so she could see down in the hole. "Railroad?"

Mel raised an eyebrow before taking a step forwards and gently floated over the spikes and down on the ground. "Quite a few heat sources, tracks," she walked around the place looking at different things before she took to the air once again and started flying towards the train.

After a few minutes she had caught up to it and changed the reflections around her so that you'd not notice her and gently sat down next to the people. They seemed quite all right. And this place of a sanctuary intrigued her. But she was also afraid.

Mel had seen it before. Groups of people sheltered away somewhere far away turning radical and murderous. It was a grim prospect in her eyes. She bit her lower lip before smiling softly and released her camouflage.

"If I could find you here, then my sister knew about it before those three even came here." she said a quite melodic voice, soothing almost. "Don't worry about me, I'm just tagging along," she said and smiled brightly, her trident resting against her shoulder while leaned back.

Maren Matthews

Maren looked at her and smiled. "I understand he is cute too!" Maren smirked at her and nodded. "I guess I'll find out." She smiled and put all of her personal stuff into a box and went up to the office and set up in the assistant's desk outside of the office.

The young man was in the office with one of the other scientists. She was changing out the sign on the door when it opened. She moved back so Mr. Right exited the room. She saw Charlie, smiled and offered her hand. "Hello, Mr. Novak. I'm your secretary, Maren. Maren Matthews." She let him go by and put the sign on the door. Maren looked at him as he walked down the hall. Maren mumbled, "Trish was right, he is good looking."

Maren had to be careful at work, she wore witchy clothes and called herself a witch and when asked if she had supernatural powers she laughed. She always answered honestly. "Of course! That is why I work here and wear obvious clothing. Get real. I study Wicca and followers of Wicca are called witches and this is how we dress." Everyone laughed and shrugged it off that she was one of the more colorful people who worked here. She had no supernatural markers to be sensed so she was comfortable with telling them the truth.

Maren wondered about this Charlie Novak. Was he 100% a scientist? Did he have a conscious? She had to get to know him. She looked up at the camera in the corner and waved and blew it a kiss. She knew people were paid to watch them all day so she had to be careful about using her powers at work. She sat down at her desk and she closed her eyes as if to sneeze. In her mind she pictured the cell doors in the laboratory. At the same time Maren pretended to have a seriously hard sneeze the doors popped open and she grabbed a tissue and blew her nose for effect. The doors came open because the molecules on the locks had disappeared then reappeared and anyone in them that was not drugged could escape and had a fighting chance.

Maren heard the alarm go off and she looked up surprised and hurried to the stairs. This is what they did everytime this happened. The scientists assumed one of the 'patients' was doing it.

"Sodding hell!" Simon surprisedly yells, dropping the glass of scotch on the intruder. "What the hell are you and aren't you cold in that when this tunnel is around a degree Celsius above naught?! Albert asks, as surprised as Simon. "Your sister? Is she a scientist pet? If so we need to get the train going sharpish." Simon then panics, doing everything he can to make the engine go faster.

After harvesting what they could from the corpse of the abomination Graham begins walking towards the office of the newly promoted Charlie Novak. "Told you he couldn't resist meeting him." Hal remarks from outside the arena, trying to clear up the mess from the evacuation. "Perhaps we could try the suits on some prisoners, then kill them soon after... We'd get more materials from them and I'd get more food." Mal suggests from the many shadows in the arena, feasting off of the offal left behind. "Food, did I forget to send enough of that gunk to your room or have your eyes gotten bigger then your appetite?" Hal questions, amazed that Mal actually likes the useless meat from the suit monstrosity left in the arena.

When Benji was asked who else he would turn to for help he had to hold back a laugh, he'd taken care of himself for years and he would never expect Edge or anyone else to help him. He'd gotten on the bus out of personal curiosity and the convince of a quick get away and he didn't want someone else to rescue him or find him some kind of supernatural wildlife sanctuary. He certainly didn't believe they were helping supernaturals without getting something in return. “You claim that you're all about helping supernaturals and I might believe that but don't try and tell me you get nothing for it, maybe not money but at the very least you've got a large group of people with power who owe you favors. People don't do go good without getting something in return.” He said as he finished his scotch. “I'm sure Edge has it's own motives as well, but I have to say seeing them take on the scientists at the theater was inspiring, at least someone's not afraid to take stand and fight back. Doesn't mean I trust 'em anymore than I trust you guys but I probably wouldn't turn down the chance to cause the scientists some pain.” He added. Willa's point about gathering supernaturals in a secluded place wasn't the safest plan made sense.

“I'm sure they've got tech that could help them find your cave, and all it would take is one weak link your organization for them to have an idea where to look. They've got resources and money like you wouldn't believe and I'm sure they could successfully raid any place they wanted. As much as I hate living in crowded cities it's easy to be anonymous in crowd. I also don't care to be the newest pet in a supernatural wildlife sanctuary, I need the chance for fight in my life.” Benji said, thinking the situation through as he spoke. If he hadn't been drinking and smelling the strong scotch he might have noticed the new scent in the air but he didn't and was caught off guard when a woman , clearly supernatural, appeared sitting next to them.

“It's not very polite to sneak up on people like that, you've made our buddy here spill his drink. Wasting good scotch like that is a terrible thing.” Benji said dryly. “Cool trick though, you saying we should expect trouble from your sister?” He said, slightly interested. He eyed the sleeping dragon and didn't think he looked that heavy to move but maybe he was heavier than he looked. He figured if they all grabbed a limb they could probably move him, both Willa and himself were pretty strong. He eyed the trident she carried and though it was a strange choice. “Interesting weapon you got there, going fishing?”

---------------------------------

“I get a new lab coat?” Charlie repeated with mild excitement. He had almost let himself become completely lost in the excitement of a promotion when Mr. Right asked if he wanted to watch him “in action.” Charlie assumed that meant watch some kind of extraction and that made him a bit more nervous. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as he thought it was, Right seemed nice enough maybe he was so good at his extractions it didn't bother the supernaturals. He didn't truly by that for a second, but he wanted to accept this job more than he had ever wanted anything, so kept lying to himself and ignoring the voice of reason and ethics in the back of his head. He had never wanted anything more than he wanted to be a real scientist doing real research that could make a difference in the world. “Yeah, I've got time I'd love to see what you can do.” Charlie said and as the words left his mouth he felt a hint of nausea in the pit of his stomach and he knew he was going to regret those words.

He started to followed Right out of the office and immediately met a woman, Maren, who introduced herself as his new secretary. “Cool, nice to meet you.” He said shaking her hand and flashing a friendly grin. He noticed that she dressed a bit unconventionally. He was guessing that she was the one he'd heard a few of his other co-works gossiping about how she was into witch stuff. Not like actual supernatural stuff but Wicca. That didn't bother Charlie, his folks had raised him not to judge people by their religions. He wasn't completely conventional himself and he liked people who were as well, it made things more interesting.“Feel free to call me Charlie.” He added as he continued to follow Mr. Right. He thought he saw Dr. Silas heading their way and was going to ask Right to introduce him to the brilliant doctor when a loud alarm started going off.

Mel smiled softly as they spoke. It was almost endearing really. Worrying about her when doom was approaching. "No, it's not cold at all. And my sister is not their pet. More akin to founder than anything else." Mel looked up at the ceiling as the train sped up. "She gave them their first subject to experiment on."

She sighed deeply as she thought about it before turning towards them. "You've met my sister. Wings, carries a sword, does weird things with her mind? Ring any bells?" She chuckled and smiled softly. "As for my weapon. I just like the looks of it. Got confused with Poseidon once though," she laughed and smiled at the memory.

"My sister is dangerous and should be stopped. That's why I'm coming along with you. Because she is probably targeting you." She put on a soft smile and sighed again.

@orlan @wick @helo

Zhal smiled as she walked through the compound. She was in a good mood today. She had tricked her sister. She knew where the underground was and where everyone was, or at least mostly. Now came the second round of fun for the day. She had already picked up on the insecurities of the people around her. It was not many that had actually seen her though.

She tended to walk by and erase her presence from most of their minds. It was easier that way. Less people that knew about her the better. She walked past Graham before placing a hand on his shoulder. "You're having naughty thoughts Graham. I never expected you to feel like leaving us," she patted his shoulder once again before she continued walking.

Next she came across Peter and Charlie. "Did it taste good Peter? Your meal? You seem quite happy about it at least. And Charlie! Our newest addition of you ever doubt anything or have questions, don't hesitate to come to my place," she winked and smiled a sweet smile before continuing.

One last person for now, she had a, feeling, about this person before. Stray thoughts and that image before. Zhal shrugged her shoulders as she walked up behind Maren and placed her hands on her shoulders and kissed the back of her head before placing her head on her shoulder. "You are a naughty one. Playing with things you don't understand." Zhal massaged Maren's shoulders as she spoke. "I know about you my dear," she patted Maren's shoulders softly to see if she could gain a reaction from her. "You being a witch and all. Wiccans are weird. Nice dress though," she said gently before turning around and walked away.

"You'd help us defeat your sister? If she was at the theatre then the Guide would have met her, probably insulted her then shot her." Simon asks then guesses from previous excursions she had been on after being poisoned. " I heard old Carter had a new cure. In addition welcome to the Supernatural Underground since you're working with us... What is your name?" Albert asks, offering Mel a cup of scotch and a rag to clean off the spilt scotch.

"I was only pondering it! Mr Right would you mind finding out what that alarm is while I escort our newly promoted fella to the evacuation area?" Graham first shouts then asks, resting his hand on his revolver just as the alarm goes off. "Wish I could have introduced myself in a better situation, Graham Silas." Graham introduces himself, ushering Charlie to the evacuation area.

Behind the bar on the main floor of the club, one of the bartenders stood with the phone to his ear. "Mhm. Mhm. Alright, thanks a lot." Hanging up, he sighed, running his hand over his face, then turned to the second bartender. "Hey Jean, could you handle this for a sec? I need to see the Mistress." He rolled his eyes as she smirked at him. "Get your mind out of the gutter. God knows your body spends enough time there."

Laughing, she waved him off. "I got this, go on. You don't want to keep her waiting."

Both of them grinning, he slipped out from behind the bar and hurried upstairs. The office was empty, and he knocked on the side door, ignoring the sounds coming from the other side.

"Come iii-iiin."

He poked his head through the door, keeping his eyes solidly fixed on the dresser in the dimly lit room. "Sorry to disturb you, Mistress."

"Oh, George, you could never disturb us."

Groaning, he hung his head. "Could I talk you for a minute? It's important."

"Is it important enough that I have to stop?"

"Yes Mistress."

A slightly irritated sigh came from the center of the room, followed by a startled gasp and a moan. "Oh, very well. Becky, be a sweetheart and keep her nice and occupied for me. I'll be back soon." Closing the door behind him, George made his way to the desk. He turned around, and immediately averted his eyes. Talith smirked as she folded her arms. "Awe, such a gentleman. You know, one of these days I am going to get you in that room."

"I'm sure you will, Mistress."

Chuckling, Talith sat down behind her desk, crossing her legs. "So, what's so important that you needed to pull me out of a session? We were just getting to the good part."

Still studying the ceiling, the bartender couldn't help but smile a little. "You're always at the good part, Mistress." Both of them chuckled. "I just got off the phone with Roger, wanted me to pass on a message to you."

Talith pursed her lips, thinking. "Roger... he's that soldier who works in the fire department with his wife Giselle. The 211?"

"212," George corrected her. "They responded to a call about an hour ago about a building collapse, that abandoned theatre over on 78th."

"I remember that place. It was lovely when it first opened." Talith frowned. "But it hasn't seen business in decades. I'm not surprised it finally collapsed."

"Except Roger is convinced that it didn't." Folding his arms over his chest, George frowned. "He said the place looked like a warzone, completely trashed and torn apart. And Giselle was freaking out, said she had never felt that much magical residue before." He sighed. "I think something happened, some sort of fight."

For a long moment, Talith remained silent, her face unchanging. Her eyes flicked away from him, and her brow furrowed slightly. "I see. Thank you, you should probably head back down stairs and give poor Jean a hand." She watched the delicious looking man leave, and she licked her lips. Such a pity that he's asexual. There's a lot that I could do with him. Shrugging, she turned around and gazed out her window. So, some supers got into a big fight. That's unusual. She knew all the major players in the area, and no one was interested in bringing attention like that to themselves. Which meant it could only be one thing, and that thought didn't please her at all.

She glanced towards the bedroom door, pouting as she sighed. It seemed that play time would have to wait a little while longer. Standing up, she walked over to the office lightswitch and flicked it off, filling the room with darkness save for what came through the window. Gradually, even that began to fade away as the shadows engulfed her, and she began heading in the other direction. As she walked, the floor stuck to and moved with her feet, eventually separating and solidifying into calf-length high-heeled boots that clicked and echoed. Her wings lifted off of her back, stretching wide before folding again. Gripping the amethyst set in her bracelet, she gave it a little twist, dispelling her glamour and allowing her tail to once again swish back and forth behind her.

As she passed through a doorway, and a collection of soft green lights appeared ahead of her, Talith sighed. A rush of energy flooded her limbs, making her skin tingle with life. Coming home always made her feel powerful, like she was more than just a demon, but a god. Which, in this place at least, she was. The human world was fun, with endless amusements and so many delightful toys, but Judy Garland had said it best: there's no place like home.

The lights grew closer, revealing themselves to be coming from large blocks of green stone set in a large wall. Inside each was a person, suspended in various states of ecstasy. Peering inside one, Talith smiled fondly as she placed her hand on the smooth stone. A old couple, man and woman, locked in a comfortable and intimate embrace. She had had a great deal of fun with them, and they had been so sweet. Of course, the visible stones weren't her entire collection. Those were just the ones she enjoyed seeing and remembering. There were others trapped in less... pleasant positions. And it was one of these that she had come searching for.

Moving to an unoccupied section of the wall, she placed her hand on it. The surface began to shift, gradually forming the shape of a slightly overweight, balding man, his arms and legs spread wide as though being dragged back by them. The black stone gave way to flesh, and the man dropped to the floor on his hands and knees, coughing and gasping. He looked up, terror filling his eyes, and he raised his hands over his head, as if to ward her off. "Please... no..."

Tutting, Talith pushed his arms away with her wings, curling her stinger under his chin to raise his face. "Shhh, now now, don't be like that dearest." Actually, she had never even bothered to learn the man's name. She had obtained him about ten years ago in Shanghai, during an incident with one of her vampire escorts. Somehow he had known what the girl was, and had tried to subdue her with silver. Unfortunately for him, Talith had heard her distress, and pounced on him. Their threeway play session had revealed some very interesting things indeed. "We're just going to talk today. If you tell me the truth, and I'll know if you're lying, then I won't hurt you anymore. Don't tell me the truth, and I'm afraid that be quite offended. We wouldn't want that, would we?

The man swallowed, feeling the now sharpened end of her stinger trace over his adam's apple. "N-no Mistress."

She smiled. "Good boy. Now, there was a bit of an incident today at an old abandoned theatre. There was a lot of magic residue left behind, and I think your little friends were involved. So, I want you to tell me what you might know about it." A chair rose up from the floor, cradling her body as she settled into it.

Immediately, the man began trembling, and he slid backwards until his back hit the wall. "I-I-I don't know anything, I swear! I haven't had any contact with them since you brought me here!"

"I know. And I know that you don't know anything about what happened at the theatre. I want to know what you do know.

Swallowing hard and sweating a rainstorm, the man nodded. "W-well, if we were involved, then it was probably a round-up. There's always a demand for more raw materials, and sometimes we come across small groups of supernaturals in hiding. Y-your theatre was probably one of them."

Talith pursed her lips. "I see. And how exactly do you, 'come across' these groups?"

"I don't know, I was never involved in finding them. We would just get told a location, we'd go there, capture whatever we found, and bring them back for processing. That's all I know, I swear."

She reached out and gently patted him on the head, causing him to flinch. She knew it was the truth; one of the perks of having absolute power over place was that people couldn't lie to you if you didn't want them to. "There, that wasn't so hard now, was it? Just a nice little chat, and all of this will be over." She called out over her shoulder. "Adrienne? Could you come here please?"

About a minute into the man's sobbing, a large, brown-skinned naga came out of the darkness, her scales whispering softly on the floor. "Sorry I'm late, Mistress, I was with a client."

Talith glanced her, gently stroking the man's bare head as he whimpered against her leg. "Usual, or exotic package?

"Usual."

"Pity." She gestured to the man as she stood up and began walking away, one wing extending to hold him at bay. "Be a dear and take care my friend here, would you? I'm bored with him now."

Adrienne bowed, though her eyes remained fixed on the man, who whimpered again. "Certainly Mistress. The usual, or exotic package?"

"Exotic."

The naga smiled. "With pleasure, Mistress. I could eat."

Talith smiled back at her. "I know you could. Let me know when you're done."

The naga twisted the amethyst on her own bracelet, and she started growing... and growing... and growing, until finally she not only dwarfed both Talith and the man staring up at her in terror, but also would have easily been taller than Talith's entire club back on earth. Looking down at the man, she slowly licked her lips.

The man's eyes widened with horror, and he looked at the retreating demoness. "W-wait! You said if I told the truth you wouldn't hurt me!"

Talith paused. "I did, and I'm not." She turned around, giving him a very cold look that sent ice running through his veins. "But, you also hurt one of my toys. That poor little vampire had never hurt anyone, and you traumatized her, which unfortunately for you is something that I cannot forgive. As a result, I don't like you. In fact, the only reason I was keeping you alive at all was because you had some interesting stories to tell about some very interesting products currently on the market. Now that you don't, not only do I not like you, but you're also boring. Which means Adrienne gets to eat, and I have some friends I need to visit." With that, she turned back around and waved goodbye. As the shadows closed over her, and she listened to the man's panicked screams, Talith smiled softly. "Bon Appetit."

Stepping out of the shadows into a large cavern, she smiled at the pair of guards who whirled around, rolling her eyes as they aimed their guns at her. "Oh, put those away before you hurt yourselves. Also, be a dear and tell Harriet that her Mistress is here to see her."

Peter chuckled and smiled. This one would be fun..the eager ones always do the best research. He strode past the woman dressed as a witch and looked at her. Purple eyes seeming to bore into her soul, until the alarm went off. That snagged his attention quickly as he looked to see which cell just opened. As he looked a predatory smile crossed his face and the colors on his wings swirled with skulls.

He was snapped out of it when zhal approached he nodded. "It was very lovely thank you." he turned to graham "Of course doctor. If you wish to observe remember there is a camera in there" he gave a wink before striding out of there toward the open cell. As he walked, he steps echoed since he is the front line of defense with internal problems. His wings went to their black color so he could focus on this one. He stopped outside and took a step back allowing a unicorn to step out.

"My dear lost boy...let me help you" he crooned as he spun his web of lies within the unicorn's mind. He lightly touched it's face before grabbing the horn and slicing it off with his other clawed hand. The unicorn panics, but cannot seem to see exactly where it is...causing Peter to be able to easily get it back into the cell and lock the outside. He held up the horn to the camera and smiled. He then headed to where graham and Charlie are, horn in hand...with not a drop of blood on him or the horn.
