[NAME]
Matsuri Miyazono

[GENDER]
Female

[AGE]
14

[PERSONALITY]
Matsuri, to put it simply, is just quick, flashy, and all over the place. She's a ball of energy that can't help but be active, sometimes to the point of annoyance, her loud voice not helping matters any. When that energy runs out, however, she tends to get lethargic until something piques her interest enough, like food. She's not afraid to talk to anyone who catches her eye, but whether or not its appreciated is another matter. Her demeanor is a bit childlike, and perhaps even a bit boyish, as she likes cool things and being cool. Matsuri may not be able to contain herself often, but her temper is in no way a weak point of hers, as she generally doesn't get very mad, brushing off most things without realizing or simply pouting, and ignoring any offenders at worst. Her over-excitability does get the better of her on occasion, occasionally in combination with her Quirk, and she's certainly less than average when it comes to intelligence, occasionally lacking in foresight. She is also known to get flustered when caught off guard.

[BACKSTORY]
Parents love talking about how their kids tend to develop faster than others, and in no way are quirks any different. But by the age of four, Matsuri had still yet to show any signs, being the slowest of her siblings to do so. That was until a call for lunch brought her back from playing outside with her siblings. Matsuri rushed to her food, gaining an incredible burst of speed, tripping over the lower doorframe, her small body tumbling into the table. While her leg, several plates, her father's dreams of saving money, and her mother's trust in her youngest daughter's safety were broken, Matsuri's spirit was not. As a constant source of boundless energy, her Quirk had a strongly desired functional use. Unfortunately, it didn't make Matsuri more resistant to, say, a hard surface, so she had some work to do.

During the semi-frequent hospital visit as she constantly tested the limits of her power, her bright mood meant that the staff and other patients tended not to mind her, but in those instances when she was stuck in a bed, unable to move, trapped in her own overly energetic body, she found solace in thinking about those paragons of pure inspiration. Doctors! Just kidding, superheroes, obviously, as much as the occasional staff member with a handy Quirk blushed when Matsuri used the term to describe them (even the nurse with a food flavor enhancing Quirk; especially her, actually). Matsuri met a few of them, either due to due them visiting or being in a hospital bed themselves. The media liked to spin heroes as invincible, but while Matsuri couldn't articulate it, seeing them stuck in bed next to her made her feel like a superhero even at the tender age of six.

That said, while it wouldn't be impossible for Matsuri to become a hero without going to one of the elite schools dedicated to it, man the TV ads made them look so friggin' COOL. Matsuri began shopping around for a part time job in middle school, but even if it weren't for her age she was basically unemployable. She didn't stop from trying though, even if her constant efforts in doing bit jobs for quick cash often left her draining it after breaking something.

But her persitence was not unrewarded. Matsuri's oldest brother, Mitsuo, earned a spot at a somewhat above average college. While Mitsuo had been accepted at better schools, this one had sweetened the deal by smoothing over many of the extra costs. With Matsuri having spent the last two years using her own money on her mishaps, plus her older sister moving out to live with her boyfriend, their father was able to save up enough money that he'd planned on using it for Mitsuo's tuition, but with Matsuri about to enter high school, the tight knit family decided to gamble on her passion and diligence. The fact that Mitsuo's college wasn't too far away from a hero school only sweetened the deal, but it wasn't close to their current home either. For the sake of their education, Mitsuo and Matsuri would have to strike out on their own, away from the rest of that family, for the sake of their futures. Matsuri only cried a little before getting on the train. After that she cried a lot. No way was she going to let them down...

[QUIRK]
Speedline – Upon the use of her power, Matsuri bursts forward at an astonishing speed with otherwise impossible acceleration. She can go from 0 to 80 MPH in less than a second, but beyond that initial burst, she can maintain that speed for only as long as she keeps running. Stopping is either an all at once thing in the form of painful injury, skidding to a slower stop, or otherwise trying to transfer her energy, like through a strike or jump. Think of it like a switch: once on, she speeds up to as fast as 80, and can coast on that as long as she can, but once she reaches top speed she can only continue or decelerate, and once she starts keeping speed she can't maintain it easily again or speed up until she's come to a stop. She can choose to burst out speeds lower than 80 MPH, and usually chooses too, but her emotional state can affect it; for instance, her overexcitability having gotten her into more than a couple painful meetings with the local architecture. Luckily, her Quirk doesn't seem to expend significant amounts of energy compared to her normal actions, but it might just be that Matsuri is so full of energy already...

[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Rosso Linea – Matsuri bursts forward at her preferred speed, but begins decelerating quickly. As she comes to slow, she passes off her kinetic energy through a punch or kick. She usually doesn't use very high speeds for this: pro boxers can punch as fast as 30 MPH at best, but Matsuri isn't built for that, so if she's going faster than 20 at the moment of impact, she's liable to stain or even fracture her arm even if she gets off a clean hit. Less clean hits or hits at fast speeds are more likely to get her hurt even worse.

Rosso Tronco Rather than a punch, Matsuri instead opts for a full on high speed body slam. This spreads out the force across her whole body and strikes a wider area, so she can afford to go faster while damaging herself less.

Sopra Linea – Matsuri manages the energy of her burst upwards, effectively managing a high or long jump. She can't land and keep going at high speeds, as it counts a deceleration, and until she comes to a stop she can't reaccelerate, but it does wonders for her mobility.

[LIMITS]
Durability – Matsuri is not invincible. Due to practice and more than a few broken bones and some lucky Quirks from the hospital staff, she's a bit more resilient than the average 14 year old girl. If she doesn't take note of her speed and whatever it is she's aiming to run into or through, she's liable to get pretty hurt. A protective superhero costume could offset this, but the bulkier it is the more limited her mobility would be. It might also limit her top speed, but her hyper-fast acceleration would be relatively untouched.

Turning – Matsuri's powers work best at going in the direction she can aim in. Turning is not yet in her range, as the torque and agility required results in her tripping over self more often then not, and even in the instances she doesn't it's because she started decreasing her speed. Cruising at her chosen speed while turning even a bit just isn't doable for her right now. Jumping gives her some mobility but it's still just two dimensions of movement.

Environment – Due to practice, Matsuri has reflexes that generally allow her to slow down or push herself off a wall before becoming a splatter, but if something happens that she doesn't expect then it's going to hurt. Her inability to go in anything but straight lines with the exception of jumping makes her movement more restricted, and thus more predictable, when constrained by obstacles she's not capable of blowing past.

[NAME]
GIGATON; other nicknames: “G”, Butterball, Fat Bastard, and other insulting names..

[GENDER]
Male

[AGE]
31

[APPEARANCE]

GIGATON is an enormous 8ft 3in giant with a planet of gelatinous fat at his center and a navel that resembles a black hole. His arms are rock-hard with muscle, but layers upon layers of fat cover his legs, making them appear as thick as truck tires. There’s no need to describe how someone would recognize him. He’s the most noticeable of all villains! He’s bald with stripes tattooed on top of his head making his skull look like a pepino fruit. His eyes are brown, face wide and plump, and double-chinning like a pro.

[PERSONALITY]
GIGATON hails from a life of endless harassment, bullying, and never fitting in. Ever since his quirk manifested, his body has done nothing but grow bigger and bigger and wider and wider. The harassment, rejection, and the ostracization he faced growing up eventually gave him a tough skin, but it also made him insensitive to human feelings and life. Being a big guy, most imagine a dumb, clumsy lummox who lacks brains, but GIGATON is actually quite brilliant. He managed to graduate high school before pursuing a career as a famed sumo wrestler. When he reached Yokozuna, he used all of the money his fame brought him to exact his revenge on the world. He believes himself to be quite invincible and unstoppable. To the horrors of some women, he even believes himself to be quite handsome and won’t hesitate to hit on what he likes (as long as they’re legal).

Time and time again, GIGATON breaks out of prison—like there ever was a prison that could actually hold him! He gathers up his gang that he calls, “The Suits” because they can always be seen standing about the supervillain like Secret Service, and they first go to get a meal at whatever restaurant he feels like putting out of business that day, before he executes some destructive scheme. Heroes often find GIGATON having a meal, and are unable to touch him at times due to him being a paying customer. Whether he broke out of prison or got bailed out by his Suits, GIGATON has been known to waddle the borderline of the law.

Fat jokes irritate the supervillain, but there isn’t an insult on this earth that he hasn’t heard and could get under his fatty skin. He knows that 99.9% of the world thinks he’s fat and disgusting, and he lives up to their expectations. GIGATON isn’t afraid to belch, fart, or talk about vulgar things in public. If he does pass gas, you want to be out of its proximity for it can clear a room and stick to your clothes.

[BACKSTORY]
GIGATON grew up to a loving mother and father who did their best to care for their son after his quirk manifested. His appetite made them struggle financially, and noticing this, he resorted to stealing for a while until his mother caught him hording food that she knew she didn’t buy. As GIGATON continued to grow, life continued to grow harder and harder for his family. His father eventually left when he was in middle school feeling angered at his life. Having a child like GIGATON was not what he wanted and neither did he want to put up with the hardships of raising him. He left his mother alone and they were forced to reduce their standards of living in order to financially support themselves. During this time, GIGATON hated himself for he knew that he was the reason why their once happy life was reduced to near poverty. And still, GIGATON grew. They relocated again to find an apartment that could actually contain him, and it was in a bad neighborhood. They were robbed a few times and it was when GIGATON was in high school that his mother’s life was threatened. In a rage-fueled vengeance, GIGATON hunted down the thugs that had threatened her and discovered the true power of his quirk. He had originally thought that all it did was make him into a giant fat ass but there was more to it. With this revelation, GIGATON started to secretly plot his vengeance against the world.

The supervillain finished high school just to make his mother proud before he left in pursuit of a career as a sumo wrestler. As a sumo wrestler, he sent his mother enough cash to get her out of the ghetto and into the high-life she deserves. As GIGATON rose in title, the cash also grew in size until his fame circulated around the world. Both fat and athletic kids looked up to him as a role model, and it was a good feeling. It was almost healing until one of his opponents started to call him a cheater. The Sumo Federation then amended a rule to exclude any wrestlers who were given an advantage by their quirk. GIGATON’s fame ended instantly, and while a few fans remained, the majority had turned against him in favor of quirkless wrestlers. GIGATON’s rage at the world rekindled and he used his riches to reach his goal to exact his destructive vengeance. His mother is still living the good life for he continues to make sure that she is taken care of; and despite her son being a supervillain, she supports everything he does, claiming that whatever evil the world has coming is well-deserved.

[QUIRK]
Fat Manipulation – GIGATON can consume nearly endless amounts of food, preferably fatty foods and store them inside himself as hyper-condensed layers of fat. This fat mostly collects at his stomach and waist, creating a massive girth that can absorb any weapon, power, or person like quicksand. Bullets are sucked in, blades, thrown energy blasts, and even people who attempt to punch or kick anywhere on his waist. They are drawn into a dark, hot, and sweaty place that can lead to suffocation or compaction. GIGATON can control his fat to crush anyone or anything much like how his own fat cells are condensed to supply his impenetrable defense. However, what goes in, can easily come back out. GIGATON can will his fat to send the bullets, missiles, and attacks flying right back at his enemies. Like a turtle, GIGATON can also absorb himself into his gut, becoming a giant ball of blubber that if it starts rolling becomes one immense Katamari ball, collecting everything in its path.

[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Cannonball – GIGATON tucks into his sphere shape and if airborne, charging or launched, as soon as he lands or makes impact, he makes seismic vibrations that can disturb the foundations of buildings around him or leave a ten meter crater in the earth. The shock wave from his collision can shatter windows and throw the balance of others.

Absorption – Whatever touches GIGATON’s center will be drawn into his quicksand-like stomach. It is a hot, sweaty, and cramped space and one may find other objects lost in his flab whether they be dead or alive (so that explains that foul smell!). Unless someone has a rope tied to you, it’ll be difficult to get out once you go in. Manipulating his fat, GIGATON can hold a hero inside himself until they die from suffocation or being crushed by his fat like a clenched fist.

Steamroller – Similar to the Cannonball technique, GIGATON can get a running start and tuck into his ball form and go rolling down the street absorbing anyone or anything caught in his path.

Expulsion – If one can be absorbed, they can be expelled. GIGATON can eject heroes into walls or other solid obstacles. He can also return gunfire at the same speed they entered his body.

Gas Attack – You do not want to be caught in the wake of this attack. GIGATON consumes a lot of food and when that food metabolizes, the bacteria in his stomach creates a “ton” of gas. It has to go somewhere. It is hard to tell how full of a tank of gas GIGATON has on him if he isn’t at maximum capacity already. When his belly button goes from being an inny to an outy that’s when the man has become a walking time bomb just waiting for the slightest chuckle or disturbance to cause him to slip and warp a street into a funky nightmare.

[LIMITS]
Healthy Food – GIGATON eats fatty foods for a reason because they fuel his powers. Fruits, vegetables, and all that other vegan/organic shit will dramatically weaken him. The prison guards have been able to contain him in prison because they learned not to give GIGATON a good quantity of food or even fatty foods. So while G is in prison, he tends to get a healthy and nutritious diet to keep him weak. He hates spinach especially for it gives him the mad shits!

Head & Limbs – GIGATON is a big guy and he seems invincible, but his head and limbs cannot do what his center can. A good blow to the head or face could knock the supervillain out. Or if someone managed to sweep his feet out from under him by surprise, and mind you, it would require some super strength to offset a “gigaton” of weight, then he could suffer a mighty fall.

Slow – He isn’t the fastest of villains, but he can use downhill slopes to his advantage in his Steamroller form. Rolling into a ball is his fastest method of transportation if he isn’t driven around in a semi-truck by his suits.

Mother - Even though GIGATON is a notorious supervillain, he still loves his mother and will protect her. Anyone who threatens her whether they be hero or another villain will make his blacklist. He will not go easy or spare the life of anyone who dares to harm her. On the other hand, sometimes befriending GIGATON's mother could have the supervillain back off. Or even saving her will earn that hero, GIGATON's respect.

Blind Spot - As mentioned countless of times before, GIGATON is a big dude, which also means he has a big blindspot. Anyone in less than arms reach can easily hide from the supervillain. It's as easy as standing next to him and him not knowing they're there. This would only work if his Suits aren't around to warn him. You got to imagine that this guy probably hasn't seen his feet in years. The danger of being so close to GIGATON is: 1) you're within grab-able reach, and 2) if you happen to touch his waist, you could get sucked in. So one has to be very careful when attempting such surveillance.
