[PERSONALITY]
Tatsumi is rough around the edges, and wants people to see him as tough, but at the same time is conflicted because he doesn't want to be seen as a bad guy. He's trying to learn to break old habits, and to better himself, but it's hard going and it frustrates him. He'll often take his anger out on someone else without meaning to, and deeply regret it afterwards. But, for all that, he has a good heart that believes in justice, and tries to be friendly with most people. It's a lot easier if he finds them likable in the first place, though, otherwise it comes off as extremely forced.
[BACKSTORY]
Tatsumi was raised in a bad part of town, and his family couldn't afford to move anywhere else. He grew up poor, and for a long time he thought it was only luck that separated the haves from the have-nots. Thus, he didn't see a problem with taking what he wanted, especially when it was so easy to do it with his Quirk. He ran with bad crowds, and his parents were rightly worried that pretty soon he would end up in jail or worse. He didn't do well in school, and had to repeat a year. He didn't have many role models in his life, as even his parents couldn't overcome their own flaws to find a way to help him. Listening to those who decried him or told him that he had better straighten up just made him angry--maybe because, deep down, he knew they were right.
About a year ago, Tatsumi was involved in a massive gang war between the crew he ran with, their allies, and all of their rivals. It took professional hero intervention to settle the matter...and in the process, Tatsumi bore witness to what Heroes really were. Despite how easy it would have been to crush them all, these heroes stopped them without a single loss of life. Despite how easy it would have been to stay angry, these heroes admonished them and showed mercy to them.
For most of the gang members, it was wasted effort. But Tatsumi was one of the few who took their words to heart, and burned their gallant images into his mind. Coming from them, it meant so much more than it had from everyone else. That someone so high and mighty would step down, and extend their hand--not just scathing words or punishment--to him of all people! It evoked a desire for change in Tatsumi. He began straightening up, and by the end of the year had raised his grades enough that getting into a good high school was no longer a dream for him. But he didn't just want to go to a good high school. He wanted to go to a Hero school.
In the future, Tatsumi hopes to become the top hero, and return to his old neighborhood to help lift someone else up, the same way that was done for him.

[QUIRK]
Adrenaline Rush - Tatsumi is able to control the amount of adrenaline his body produces, giving him access to incredible amounts of strength and speed, and increasing his pain threshold. He usually manifests this as a "multiplier," describing how much strength he is using at the time. Human beings before Quirks could usually only access 80% of their muscular strength, but in times of "fight or flight" an extra 20% could be unlocked--sometimes, even more. But by surpassing this limit, the normal human body would literally tear itself apart, ripping ligaments and muscle and breaking bones. Tatsumi, by overproducing adrenaline, can cause his muscles to fire even more than the full 100% of his body's power, hence the multiplier.
Currently, within his limitations, Tatsumi can lift around 200 kilograms at "base", due to using the full 100% strength of the human body. By the same token he can run 40 kilometers per hour for a hundred meters, and jump up to 3 meters high and 10 meters long.

[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Full Rush - Tatsumi sends a surge of adrenaline through his entire body, making him stronger and faster and increasing the amount of pain he can tolerate. This is the safest form of his power, as it is spread evenly throughout.
Speed Rush - Tatsumi sends the adrenaline to his legs, allowing him to put on a tremendous burst of speed to run or jump with. Rather than true "super speed," however, it's more like his muscles are explosively releasing enough force to propel him at high speed--and also create high impacts.
Muscle Rush - Tatsumi focuses the adrenaline on his upper body, before delivering powerful punches. This technique can also be used defensively, by flexing his torso's muscles to clench tightly around his bones and organs, providing a hard shield against impacts.

[LIMITS]
Self-Damage - Tatsumi's current control over his Quirk allows him to use 100% of his body's normal muscular power without damaging himself or losing control of his strength. However, going past this limit is what begins to damage him. At 2 times peak-human strength, he begins to feel the same effects as someone who has unlocked their natural limit after five minutes--high stress, pulled muscles, extreme fatigue. At 3 times peak-strength, if he's not careful his muscles can tear and his bones can fracture after only 3 minutes. At 4 times, it becomes harder to control his fine-motor skills, and he can cause significant damage to his muscles and break his own bones if he uses the power for much more than a minute. At 5 times, using this level of power at all WILL cause severe injuries and knock him out. So far, his absolute upper limit is 6 times the strength of a peak-level human, but such power was only accessible to him for a matter of seconds before he blacked out. He doesn't remember anything else from that time before waking up in a hospital bed.
Normal Durability - Tatsumi's power allows him to flood his body with endorphins that allow him to take pain and keep fighting. But his skin does not get any harder nor his body more durable. Any injuries he takes affect him as they would a normal human, once the rush wears off, making him extremely vulnerable even to normal weapons.

[PERSONALITY]
Corrosion is one of those people who feels that the world owes them something, that they should never be told what to do by someone else, that nothing is their fault and it's always someone else who isn't treating them the way they want to be treated. The reasons for his behavior are manifold, but he also shows several signs of antisocial disorder and it's clear that he doesn't comprehend the mindset of a sane, average person. He has a severe hatred of heroes and cops, and feels that they "abuse the rights of free citizens," and are inherently corrupt. Corrosion is also an incredibly stubborn and determined individual, who would rather "go down fighting," than be captured, or even make a retreat. When interacting with others, he takes on a "with me or against me" mentality, and makes impulsive and prejudiced judgments.
[BACKSTORY]
Corrosion was born as John Takahashi, of mixed heritage, though his father quickly abandoned the family when he found out his girlfriend was pregnant. His mother tried to do the best she could for him, growing up, but the boy who would become a villain was full of anger and bitterness at both his father and the world. He started getting into trouble in school at a young age, and kept up his delinquency through the years until he eventually formed his own gang. He and the other misunderstood young men of his neighborhood went wild every night, and Corrosion eventually dropped out of school entirely and got involved in the drug trade, mostly as a runner for bigger, more powerful groups.
At first, his gang knew better than to shit where they ate, so to speak, and they did a good job of keeping their own neighborhood safe from violence. But as they got older, and Corrosion amassed more influence and decided that he would actively become a villain, the gangs' activities got worse and the neighborhood decided they didn't want them around more. Through police and professional hero intervention, Corrosion's first gang was broken up, many of them imprisoned. So he moved on, and found a new crew, and even a new right-hand man--a young kid with a lot of potential, named Tatsumi Oshiro.
But Corrosion had decided to use the foot he had in the drug trade's door to go full-blown dealer. At first it was just the easy stuff, just weed and illegal cigarettes. But of course that wasn't enough. The thing was, when he decided to go harder, Tatsumi threw a fit. The disagreement the two had resulted in a fight, and at the time Corrosion was the better Quirk user. He managed to force Tatsumi to do things his way, but the two never saw eye to eye again even though Corrosion actually did try to patch things up, viewing Tatsumi as too valuable to lose. Then came the night they all got involved in a big gang fight, and after that Tatsumi abandoned everything--all his friends, his old neighborhood, everything--to go to some swanky hero school. And Corrosion never forgave him for it.

[QUIRK]
Acid Sweat - Corrosion has the ability to secrete a form of acid from his skin, which when applied to surfaces or people begins to rapidly burn through or break down materials. Corrosion himself is immune to the effects of his own acid, and can adjust its viscosity to make it into sticky globs to be used for a variety of purposes.
Within his limitations, he can produce acids that, at their strongest, can eat through clothing in less than a second and severely burn flesh within a minute. If given enough time, the acid is even strong enough to eat through concrete. He can also make it as sticky as gum, and as elastic as high quality rubber.

[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Acid Drop - Corrosion adjusts the viscosity of the acid he produces to make it into sticky goo, which he can mold into spheres and throw at opponents. The goo will bounce, but only once, due to its sticky properties canceling out some of its elastic ones. Afterwards it sticks to a target and, depending on the strength of the impact and the splatter size, becomes increasingly hard to remove. It burns all the while.
Acid Whip - Corrosion produces long drips of elastic goo from his fingertips, then uses it to constrict or lash an enemy. The burning acid makes being lashed with this makeshift weapon like being flagellated with a cat of nine tails.
Acid Pads - Corrosion can coat himself in the acid without harm, allowing him to either stick to surfaces, or shield his body with a rubbery barrier.
Acid Stream - Corrosion sprays liquid acid from his palms. Within a range of about 10 meters, this attack can be extremely dangerous to his targets.
Acid Bubbles - Corrosion makes an Acid Drop, but then blows air into it, producing a floating mine of sorts. Anything that touches it will cause the bubble to pop, spraying acid on anything its immediate vicinity.

[LIMITS]
Body Temperature - Acid Sweat is literally formed from Corrosion's sweat. While in normal temperature ranges he can generate it easily due to control of the quirk, and in hot temperatures using it becomes even easier, in cold temperatures he cannot produce it at all unless he manages to raise his body heat somehow.
Base Exposure - By exposing him to strong bases, Corrosion's power can be canceled out completely, either leaving him with non-corrosive, sticky globs of putty or else disabling the power completely depending on the strength of the base.
Walking Danger - Once he starts using his power, Corrosion has to be careful of what he touches and even what he wears, as his own acid will begin burning through it if he's not careful. Unfortunately, he's not the thinking type and thus doesn't take his environment into account very often when using his power. If you can use the environment against him, your chances of defeating him are much higher.
Dilution - By submerging him or soaking him with water, Corrosion's acid can be diluted to the point where it cannot harm anyone, so long as they don't drink it. It also temporarily keeps him from producing more, as the water will lower his body temperature and stop him from sweating for a period of time.
Evaporation - By using wind or heat to cause evaporation of the acidic liquid, the substance turns into a noxious smelling, but ultimately harmless gas as it reacts with the air. Still, this limit only really counts for half credit, as Corrosion can still use it as a smoke screen or to try and stun or suffocate someone with the foul smell.
Time Limit - After being separated from his body, the acid will disperse by itself, harmlessly being absorbed by its surroundings within an hour. However, that's plenty long enough for it to burn its way through many materials and flesh, so this limit only counts for half credit.

Ichiro Matsumoto, "Masamune, the Life Saving Swordsman"
[GENDER]
Male

32
[APPEARANCE]
[PERSONALITY]
Masamune, or Mr. Matsumoto, is a deadly serious hero with a gaze as sharp as his sword. He brooks no nonsense from his students, and grades harshly; at the same time, he is constantly trying to encourage them in his own way, offering suggestions on how to improve their training methods. He treats his fellow teachers and heroes with a respectable aloofness, but doesn't hesitate to berate them as well when he feels the situation calls for it. It's easy to see him as mean or too serious, but the fact of the matter is that he lives and breathes constant vigilance.
[BACKSTORY]
Born to a family of famous kendo practitioners, Ichiro's Quirk was discovered when he bit his father--as babies are known to do--and, to everyone's surprise, his father's finger came right off. Even more surprising, when they finally got it back from the toddler (thankfully before he could swallow it), it popped right back on. As he grew up and began to understand more about his Quirk, he realized the true meaning of his potential: He could be the first swordsman to exemplify the true form of the Katsujinken, or Life Giving Sword, philosophy. Not only could he use his skills with the sword in defense of others, but he could do so without ever having to kill his opponent.
He trained for the majority of his life both in the dojo and in hero school, and continued training even after he became a pro. Some speculate that the reason his quirk works so well in combination with a foreign object is because he has truly made his sword a part of his body. In recent years, he accepted an invitation to teach at Brave High, and he treats his duties as a teacher just as seriously as he treats his job as a professional hero.

[QUIRK]
Clean Cut - Within 100 meters (about 330 feet) of his body, he can cut something without harming it. In essence, he can separate something into two or more pieces without those pieces being damaged in the process--his cuts are bloodless, and even severed limbs are left perfectly intact. By simply putting the pieces back together and cancelling his power, they can be restored. However, if his ability is canceled out by being out of his range, the wounds open up as if they were fresh. His ability works even with his teeth and fingernails, but he primarily uses a sword. His power is a rare instance of a Quirk that seems to interact with a foreign object as well as it does with the user's own body; some speculate it's actually a combination Quirk, since many of his family members have Quirks that involve creating, manipulating, or understanding swords and other weaponry. Others think it might simply be mastery over the quirk and intense training with the sword.
[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Master Swordsman - Ichiro has trained intensely in kendo and iaido from a young age, as well as learning other martial arts to supplement the weaknesses in his original styles. He's a multinational, multi-time tournament champion and his extensive record as a professional hero has given him a great deal of real battle experience.
Greatly Enhanced Speed - Solely due to physical training, Ichiro is much faster than the average person, especially across short distances.
Enhanced Strength - Solely due to physical training, Ichiro is a bit stronger than the average person.
Cut and Seal - By cutting open something like a car, a wall, or the ground and then canceling out his ability with precise timing, Masamune can trap an enemy inside the object. However, the object doesn't completely reseal around the person's body. If they're strong enough or have a free limb, they may be able to pry the pieces apart again or just break free.
Cut and Fire - Masamune throws a projectile--usually a piece of the environment he's cut free--and rapidly cuts it into pieces in midair. The pieces continue to fly forward, barraging the enemy.
Cut and Howl - Masamune cuts the air itself, then cancels his Quirk. When the airspace rushes back together, the vacuum it creates sends a razor sharp shockwave at the opponent.
Cut and Fade - Masamune cuts part of the environment and quickly jumps through the opening, then closes it behind him. He can even tunnel underground this way, or hide "inside" walls if they're thick enough.
Defense Cutting - Masamune has trained his reflexes to respond to an attack from any angle in the shortest possible amount of time. Any hostile intent within the reach of his blade and arm will be reacted to nearly instantaneously.
Cut and Draw - Masamune's fastest technique. During an iaido draw, his sword actually cuts through the sheath and his own hand rather than being drawn all the way, and both are put back together after the blade passes through it. This rapidly decreases Masamune's already lightning fast draw time, allowing him to strike in less than a second.

[LIMITS]
I Am Not Left Handed - Ichiro is right handed, and while he can somewhat use his left arm due to training, it still severely weakens him if his sword arm is injured or restrained.
My Kingdom for a Sword - Without his sword, Ichiro can still use his Quirk by cutting with his fingernails and teeth, but imagine how hard and dangerous it is to get that close to an enemy. Disarming or breaking his sword practically disables him.
Limited Range - While his range is large because of his mastery over his abilities, it's still a limit to how far he can effect the things he has cut. Objects that travel outside of the range without being put back together will take the normal damage from the cut, as well as the delayed damage, all at once. In addition, the object's main body would also take damage even if it was still inside Ichiro's range. For instance, if he cut someone's arm off, and their arm got outside the range, not only would it begin to rapidly bleed out, but the person's stump back on their main body would also rapidly begin to bleed and explode in enormous pain.
A Hero's Only as Good as His Weapon - Ichiro's mastery of the blade grants him a little leeway when cutting most objects--he's even acheived the feat of the tetsuzanken, or Iron Cutting Sword--but if he can't cut it with his blade, or if his blade is too dull, then he can't use his quirk on it.
The Fettered - Unless the situation is truly, undeniably dire, Ichiro will never actively try to kill an opponent. He has more freedom than most in this respect, as he can even decapitate someone without killing them by using his ability, but he will try his best to avoid lethal injuries even on the worst of villains in most cases.

Annete Baumgartner, "Snow White, the Ice Queen"
[GENDER]
Female
[AGE]
30
[APPEARANCE]
[PERSONALITY]
Ms. Baumgartner is kind, encouraging, and motherly; the kind of person one would think would be teaching kindergarten or elementary school rather than high school. But she's also extremely polite, sometimes to the point of seeming cold or dismissive, maybe even arrogant. She also has a a very specific trigger--any time someone mentions the words "Christmas" or "cake" she has a nervous breakdown of some sort. It seems to be focused around the belief that she can't keep a boyfriend for whatever reason. But most of the time she's a perfectly reasonable, if a little airheaded, lady. She believes in guiding students with kindness rather than harshness, but she's no pushover; indeed, her passive agressive punishments won't leave a mark on your body, but they'll cut you to your soul.
[BACKSTORY]
Born to a wealthy business couple, Annete was pampered, but learned to be kind and generous as well out of a childlike desire; "Why isn't everyone as happy as I am?" Her parents originally intended to groom her for marriage to a suitable heir to their company, but when they saw how strong her quirk was and how much she enjoyed helping others less fortunate than herself, they came up with the idea to make her a promotional heroine for their business. Given how attractive she was as she grew older, it worked like a charm, but in order to maintain her fanbase Annete was treated much like an idol; she was under very strict orders from both her family and her agency not to date or have much of anything to do with the opposite gender, lest her fans begin to see her as "impure," and she had to wear disguises when out in public to keep the paparrazi off her trail.
Eventually, Annete grew tired of her family controlling her life, and decided to break away from the agency and make her own decisions. She lost many fans, but gained many more as she continued her hero work, never having stopped wishing for others to be happy even if she wasn't as much so. But without her family backing her, she had to work overtime to keep up her quality of life, which left her even less time for dating. Before she knew it, she had turned thirty, and she feels very depressed whenever she's reminded of that fact. Deciding to put the hero life on halt for a little while to focus on her own happiness, she instead took a job teaching at Brave High.

[QUIRK]
White Kiss - Her quirk allows her to breathe frost; a very basic power, but perhaps because of its simplicity she has mastered it to a great degree, and it has grown to be very powerful. Within her limitations, after having years of practice and experience she can breathe ice as low as -80 degrees Celsius--almost the lowest of temperatures experienced in Antarctica, and the actual force of her breath is comparable to storm gale winds.
[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
White Blast - The most basic form of her power, a heavy exhalation of freezing air. Her maximum range is 50 meters, but she can focus and adjust the strength to produce a cone of effect, or a cloudy burst, or just a simple puff.
White Claws - Breathing a quick breath over her fingernails, she can produce sharp claws of ice. This also works to produce a spike or blade anywhere else on her body, and is her primary method of protecting herself in close combat.
White Spear - The most unladylike of her applications, she gathers saliva in her mouth and hocks one hell of a loogy when she breathes out. The result are sharp spears of ice that fly with enough force to puncture a car door.
White Wall - Breathing at the ground and moving her head from side to side, she builds up an ice wall to block incoming attacks. It can't be raised very quickly, however, due to needing multiple layers of ice to make it strong.
White Road - She freezes a path in front of her, and skates along it. It requires very controlled breaths that are timed correctly, so she usually uses it to build up speed before simply sliding on ice built up around her feet the rest of the way. Otherwise it's a heavy drain on her stamina.
White Sculpture - She freezes the air in very specific patterns, creating objects out of ice. Depending on their size, density, and hardness, they can be very draining on her.

[LIMITS]
Humidity - Ice is frozen water by definition; if there's not a lot of moisture in the air or in her surroundings, her breath is much less effective.
Hot Temperatures - In hot, arid, and dry environments and temperatures her breath may not work at all, depending on how hot it is.
No Peppers, Please! - She can't eat spicy food at all, or it will cancel her breath out until she can thoroughly brush her teeth and tongue.
Clear Pipes - She has to have enough clean air to breathe in addition to having enough water to freeze; pollution, lots of dust or smoke, or generally anything that clogs up the air and thus her throat can stop her from being able to use her powers. She also has a very sensitive respiratory system, so it can cause bouts of painful coughing or difficulty breathing.

Hideaki Kobayashi, "Laser Sight, the Sniper Hero"
[GENDER]
Male
[AGE]
41
[APPEARANCE]
[PERSONALITY]
Mr. Kobayashi is a very depressing man to be around, and seems to have a rather nihilistic point of view. This may be because he's one of the older heroes, and has seen so much crime despite the presence of superheroes. Or it might be because he refuses to take his meds. But either way he's a constant downer to listen to, and he can always find the black lining of any silver cloud. That being said, he does a good job of keeping the more idealistic students down to earth, and reminding them of their limitations and responsibilities.
[BACKSTORY]
Not much is known about Hideaki's past, and maybe he wants to keep it that way. He intentionally stayed out of the media spotlight as a hero, and only accepted the invitation to teach at Brave High because they wouldn't stop pestering him about it. There are some rumors that say he used to work for the mafia, or the yakuza, and that he changed his ways and became a hero instead. No one really knows the truth of it.
He's been teaching at Brave High longer than most of the others pros, but arguably aside from Masamune no one else has a much of a "professional" mindset as he does. His classes teach a variety of ways to accomplish one's goals, with or without Quirks, as if he were training an elite unit of the military rather than individuals who want to become superheroes.

[QUIRK]
Laser Focus - The most accurate description of Hideaki's power is that he can focus his sight to absurd levels, bringing objects that are far away into near perfect clarity or zooming in on fine details. But by "absurd," one must understand that he can focus his sight so much that the light being reflected from the lenses of his eyeballs becomes an actual laser. At his most focused, he can create white hot beams as thin as needle threads from his eyes, which can cause objects to erupt into flame or outright explode as they are rapidly heated and expand accordingly.
[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Master Marksman - Because his power actually isn't all that suited to combat, Hideaki has always been a hero from the shadows, perched high on some rooftop somewhere with a tranquilizer rifle and a backup stun gun. The only indication of his presence are two tiny red dots that slowly travel up the target's torso, and then the thunk of their unconscious bodies hitting the ground.
Expert Martial Artist - Hideaki is also trained to upper-degree black belt levels in Karate and Judo, but given his slight build he has to rely more on technique than strength and thus prefers to stay out of close combat unless absolutely necessary.
Reflector Scan - If he can create a path via a weak laser through a number of reflections--windows, car mirrors, etc--he can then focus his sight in and, through the photons of the laser being bounced back and forth, see along that same path.
Infrared/Night Scan - Because he can focus so accurately and make sense of light from his laser vision bouncing back from an object, Hideaki can tune in to the different spectrums of light and use both infrared and night vision.

[LIMITS]
Bright Lights - Due to the sensitivity of his eyes, bright flashes or really bright lights can blind Laser Sight for a period of time, depending on the intensity. If the light is too bright, he won't be able to adjust to it at all.
Complete Darkness - He has to have light to refract into lasers, so in a completely dark area he can't use his power at all.
Reliance on Weaponry - While he's an expert martial artist, he's still much less of a threat if he runs out of ammo or if he's disarmed.
Dry Eye - Overusing his powers causes his eyes to become dry and irritated, in which case he can't focus. This condition can also be brought on by weather conditions such as wind or heat.

Gabriel Lawson, "Decaman, the 10th Factor Hero," also "Gabe"
[GENDER]
Male
[AGE]
38
[APPEARANCE]
[PERSONALITY]
Mr. Lawson is a "YOU CAN DO IT!" kind of guy, and has taken to the Japanese idea of "Fighting Spirit" and "Gatsu, gatsu!" like a duck to water. He assigns the hardest physical training of all the teachers, but only because he has such high expectations for the students. He is a cheery fellow who likes to laugh often and laugh loud, but he doesn't seem all that bright for a teacher. Still, he has a lot of practical knowledge, and is the second most experienced of the pros at Brave High.
[BACKSTORY]
Gabriel Lawson was part of a government sanctioned study on Quirks to try and understand just how they were inherited, and how two completely different quirks could combine into one. Gabriels' parents both had volunteered to submit DNA for the project, and both of them had strength-enhancing quirks. Gabriel's surrogate mother also had a strength enhancing quirk, but the results were ultimately inconclusive as to whether or not that had anything to do with the highly concentrated Quirk he awakened just two years after he was born. Sure enough, he had super strength--a lot of it.
Gabriel has struggled with the circumstances of his birth throughout his life, but has chosen not to let it define him, and, instead, to be as much of a go getter as possible, so as to go get everything out of life that he wants. Because he's so perfectly fit for it, he's been a hero even since his teenage years, and he gladly accepted the invitation to teach at Brave High even though there were other places he could have gone to prepare the next generation of heroes.

[QUIRK]
Power of Ten - Gabe has 10 times the strength of a particularly strong human being, but unfortunately this is a flat rate--he's learned how to better control and more creatively use his strength over the years, but he's only gotten stronger by aging, never through training. Which makes one wonder why he still works out so hard...
Within his limitations, he can lift 3 metric tons (over 6000 pounds) clear over his head, run at 450 kilometers per hour for a hundred meters (roughly 230 miles an hour), and jump 25 meters straight up into the air (over 80 feet) and 90 meters (around 300 feet) long.

[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]
Deca-Anything - There are too many of these to list. Everything he does is just Deca. Deca Punch, Deca Kick, so on and forth.
Greatly Enhanced Durability - Due to the size, density, and toughness of his muscles, he can withstand far more punishment than the average human being.
Advanced Martial Arts - While not quite an expert, he does have a black belt in Karate and practices boxing.

Advanced Martial Arts - While not quite an expert, he does have a black belt in Karate and practices boxing.
[LIMITS]
Enormous Calorie Intake - To support the massive strength of his muscles, he has to take in at least 20,000 calories per day, most of it in protein. He can often be found throughout the day snacking on bowls of Chankonabe, the traditional weight gain food of sumo wrestlers, or eating large steaks or chicken breasts at lunchtime. If he doesn't eat enough, he'll begin to feel steadily weaker over time, possibly even losing most of his power.
Beauty Sleep - To restore his body's energy reserves after using so much muscle power, he has to get at least 10 hours of sleep a night. Even a single hour short causes him to experience sleep deprivation and fatigue and limits his strength.
High Temperatures - If the weather is too hot or he can't hydrate himself enough, overexertion from his muscles can rapidly raise his body temperature and cause fatigue or even heat stroke.
Physics - Having so much strength means that the slightest misstep can spell disaster. He must be very careful how he lifts, grips, or pushes on objects, as they will give way before he does. Lifting a car, for instance, has to be done more along his shoulders or back, otherwise his hands just go right through the metal when he tries to lift it up.
