I know I already posted, but @Zeroth mentioned there'd be some in-class hero exercises and if everyone's going to be a part of that then they would need to be in the same class. And if everyone's in the same class, they would need to be in the same grade, but there's a large range in ages. However, if not everyone is in the same class there won't be a lot of interaction inbetween those in different grades. I'd just like some clarification on the subject...
Everyone will be in the appropriate class for their age, but since exact birthdays aren't clarified, there can still be a year's margin between students of the same class. For instance, a freshman could be 14 or have already turned 15. It's up to players what class they want to be in. Each of the NPC teachers will be a homeroom teacher of one of the classes as well as a specialist in some subject that they teach to all the others. For the hero exercises, all classes will do those together for the sake of convenience; they'll be like field days. Interaction between the different classes can also happen during break periods, lunch, after school, etc. Because we'll be skipping over the boring stuff, these breaks will actually compose most of the "in-school" time. And conflict with the villains will usually happen outside of the school itself, I'm wagering, so people from different classes will be able to meet up for those battles.
Question for ya, @Zeroth
you think it'd be possible for Bonesaw to attend the opening ceremony here if she was wearing the schools uniform? It's unlikely the heroes would know her face, since it's always covered most of the time whenever she's out doing villainy stuff, and with a little makeup she could probably pass for a school kid, I'd imagine.
She's not going to be doing anything, aside from...watching like a creep and scoping out this new class of heroes~
Sure, you could do that. She'd need a Student ID to get past the security system, which would imply she's either killed or beaten up some other student--which makes for a mystery for whoever finds the body. The only problem is, if she's discovered, she's way outnumbered and outgunned so escaping would be one heck of a problem. But like you said, no one knows her face, and with some makeup and a uniform she could pass for a student. If she tried to attend one of the classes, though, she'd probably be outed during the roll-call.
@Zeroth With one person dropping out would that mean a spot opens up too?
Sure, I'll add you to my list of reserves. Do up a profile and send it in!
