@Ira I think I'll be going alone for now. The Golden Fleece Pirates are a little too strong for my taste. I think I'll be taking the path similar to Luffy. So for now, no crew yet.

@Ira@malmshodes
Perfect, now we can see what Ira has planned for the crew. We the only ones having any real fun
@Ira Since we're discussing restricted character traits and abilities such as Haoshoku Haki, I have to ask: how is the Will of D. going to be incorporated into the game? Obviously, the only "D." character so far is Bogard, and even he's not actually a true D., having applied the moniker to himself rather than inherited it through bloodline (at least so far as is visible to players); would it, however, be reasonable to suggest that perhaps a character possesses the Will of D., but is entirely unaware of it until story events in some way inform them of their possession of the Will?

You will all soon see soon enough . I have to wait for one more person to post and we can begin the mayhem.
The marine of course.
@Hillan The different in strength in my character from the crew is kind of large though.

@Hillan I'll be more of a liability than anything else. And why would you guys not hit people if was around? lol.
Name:John C. Tabakomi
Nickname:Johnny
Height/Weight:186 CM, 78 KG.
Age:22
Personality:Laid back, charming and honest. Johnny is one to speak his mind and is always genuine and sincere. While impulsive and a bit hotheaded, Johnny has great self-control and is more than capable to quell these impulses, stopping himself from speaking out of term, or acting inappropriately. He has a deep respect for the way of the law, and he believes in a greater good - one you don't always see, or understand. As a soldier and Marine, he believes that the greatest Military operations are the ones nobody ever hears about. He didn't become a Marine to be a hero, he didn't do it for recognition, but he chose to live a life of Justice to make real change in the world.
Home Island/Sea:East Blue.
History:Born in the West Blue, his father a pirate of notoriety, his mother a barmaid. His father never knew he existed, yet, the kid grew up strong. A trouble maker by the age of six, picking fights with other kids and taking to crime by the age of nine, robbing a store in his home village with a knife. He was put in the custody of the Marines, whom appreciated the kids spirit, shipping him to HQ so he could go on to serve the greater good. During physical trials in his pre-teens, he showed off the charts strength and skill, getting assigned to the Cipher Pol unit, where he would be training for the next 5 years, seeing his first operation at 17 years old. An extraction that went sideways in the North Blue, yet, the kid handled himself fine. What he got to show for it was a new power - a powerful Logia, the ability of turning one's self into smoke. His training continued, combinating his new power with his old training regime, regularly sending him out on missions, his new powers making him an excellent infiltrator. To steal secrets, or to terminate enemies of the World Government.
Now, he's been assigned to the East Blue, with a mission to keep an eye out for a new wave of pirates, that the higher ups have predicted will be the second coming of the Worst Generation, sending out Cipher Pol Agents to observe, and if necessary, take out any possible threats to their interests.
While his real history is redacted, even the name he was given at birth has been covered up, the official story for Johnny however, is that he was born to a merchant and a merchant's wife in the East Blue. Raised to be a honest and upstanding young man, he enlisted in the Navy at 12, becoming a Chore boy and at 16 taking his Seaman exam, becoming an official soldier in the Navy. His military career since then has been successful, but nothing spectacular. Making Ensign at 21 is something to be proud off, but still not something that makes you into a hero - or makes it worth that you'd go down in the history books.
When his mettle has been tested, Johnny has more than proved himself in combat.
Fruit:Smoke - Smoke Fruit.
Fighting style:Seemingly averagely skilled with a cutlass and a rifle - like most Marines. He uses his Logia power clumsily, not near to it's fullest potential, only able to defeat most foes due to the properties of his fruit. This is to be perceived as less of a threat, while he's actually a well trained killer and has spent countless hours harnessing his fruit, albeit, no where near the levels of it's former user.
His training in Rokushiki is kept secret, and he will refrain from using it as best as he possible can, relying on his devil fruit over his martial art skills.
Abilities:Rokushiki; Having mastered Soru and Rankyaku, and being adept at the other forms of the Rokushiki, lacking any real training in Shigan, currently. He's a dangerous fighter and a force to be reckoned with.
Rigorous training; One does not get to be a Cipher Pol agent without getting put through hell. He's been pushed to his limit time and time again, thus hardening his body and spirit to a neigh-unbreakable blade.
Cooking; A skilled cook, and a surprisingly good singer when it comes to old nursing songs.
Marine Rank:Ensign.
Name: Freya
Height/Weight: 5'9'', 135 lbs.
Age: 28
Personality: Once full of a youthful bluster and passion, Freya is more like a burned out husk these days. She seems more engaged in gambling away her excess earnings or checking out the local eateries than actually performing justice. How she still has her position is no mystery: she barely keeps her monthly adjudication quota, and whenever assigned an objective, it's met for frequently than not. Despite rumors, her division has yet to fail an inspection, surprise or otherwise.
Home Island/Sea: Kenbutsu Island, Grand Line
History: "For Justice!"
For so many of her years, that simple mantra was Freya's code. Her meaning. Her way of life. It wasn't something she could put into words, and while her attempts satisfied whoever wanted to know, it never satisfied her. But if she couldn't put 'Justice' into words then it would have to be actions. She trained in combat and naval scholarly reading, often holding a book as she did simple exercises. Her diet was bland but efficient. She even got training from some local veterans, who were impressed with her diligence. By the time she was 16 she'd been admitted into Officer Academy, graduating one year early at age 19 as an Ensign.
As she sailed, her duties were never the only thing on her mind. Back home, she left an often bedridden father and a hardworking mother with unstable enployment, but now that she was an officer, they would continue to be supported through the Government's various programs. As the years went on, promotions seeming like yearly events, her parents became less and less of a worry for her as their lodgings and benifits got higher with Freya's rank.
And yet, as the years waned on, Freya being challenegd by stronger pirates, not even her actions seemed to be doing her ill-defined mantra the justification she felt it might deserved. Then, after a nasty strike cut her from cheek to shoulder, she spent much of her medbay visit wondering 'why'? She'd seen 'pirates' who fought for their families with as much fervor as Freya ever had, and she'd seen Marines engage in dealings that would make the average thief blush. Freya had been helpless when it came to trying to put Justice in to words or actions, but now she couldn't even figure out what it felt like.
Now at the Captain rank, with enough of a salary that she and her family back home could live comfortable, Freya, now past marrying age for that matter, let her once stellar record slip. Before it went too far, she was able to get reassigned: a move that was deemed worthwhile with the recent boom in piracy, as, in theory, Freya could cut back at it in its source. Truth be told, the East's reputation as 'the weakest, most peaceful sea' appealed to her, and so she sails, presently without purpose.
Fruit: N/A
Abilities/Race Traits: Decent navigation skills and notable leadership abilities, both often overshadowed by her slothful nature.
Fighting Style: Freya keeps a simple sword with her often. She's physically strong and very capable, which is accented by her abilities in Armament and Observation Haki. Stone is no obstacle for her blade and thin enough steel can rend or shatter under a well place Haki laden strike.
Ship Positions: Marine Captain and commanding officer of the 99th East Blue Patrol Divison
Bounty: N/A
