Petilil who was still in Vivians arms, began shooting off sparkling leaves towards the floating Flabebe. These magical leaves caught up in the spiralling fairy wind where they spun like cutters as the soared around. With a thrust Flabebe unleashed the attack.
The sparkling gust of fairy wind wrapped around the trubbish's acid spray forming a spectacular looking and powerful tri-attack. The skuntank who was still battling with the razor wind didn't stand a chance of dodging and was sent flying back into the opened cage with her babies. "Oh yea!" Viv exclaims excitedly, looking to her friends. "Great job everyone. What should we do now? Maybe we should leave her in the cage for the time being, do you think we could lift it?"
Vivian petted her Pokemon proudly. "Great job guys, you were amazing!"

Lore: Adriana City rests to the Far East of Central City, residing next to the coast. It is a popular city to both who reside and tourist as it has many shopping centers and is higher tech then most places. Self moving walkways, robotic assistants and trash cans that will assist in picking up any litter, elevators and escalators to travel different levels and so on. It's far large and can be easy to get lost in, luckily there are plenty of maps everywhere.
The city has three layers, the bottom being the more transit area for trains and cars as well as homes for the less fortunate, the middle having resorts, amusement parks, the warm sunny beach and the like as well as homes for common people, and the top having the shopping centers, wealthy business's and wealthy homes. A popular place to shop is at Azure Corp, where beautiful gems and jewelry are sold.
Downside is, quite a lot of things are a bit on the pricy side.
Pokemon often do not show themselves often around here, but they still live amongst the bustling city folk occasionally. Water Pokemon often play in the coast of the sea, some beach goers often able to spot them playing in the water. The electric Pokemon can often be found around the powerplants, or the amusement park.

Leisy sighed in relief when the Skuntank was sent flying back into the cage. The latched door slid down with a thud, closing itself. Relaxing, Leisy looked over at her friends with a grin. “”We did it! she said, glancing between her Pokemon and her friends.
A twinge of sadness crossed her mind when Leisy remembered that Devinco had been severely injured by the Skuntank’s Night Slash, but she was more proud of her Pokemon for cooperating to bring the angry mother down. “Good job, Naunet, Bidein,” she said as her Pokemon congregated at her side.
The battle had brought them late into the night, and Leisy was now both tired and hungry. But, there was still the matter of the cage and Pokemon to be resolved. “Let’s bring them,” Leisy said immediately, but hesitated. How would they lift the cage of three Pokemon? “If we can carry them, that is,” she said, backtracking. “I’d hate to split up the family, so if we can’t bring them all we should probably leave them and go find help. Maybe call someone?” she suggested.
Juana thought for a moment. “Hm. Well, nothing really in particular, though sometimes a few of my friends in Unova would joke about getting together, marching up to Zekrom, and poking it with a ball until it agrees to come with us. Though of course now we all know Poké Balls don't work like that." Juana chuckled at the memory. "Though I would like to catch an Electric type Pokémon sometime. Unova's a pretty urban region."
They were soon coming up to a thick wood, where glowing wisps flitted here and there, where mushrooms glowed in gentle bioluminescence and where insect Pokémon skittered across the forest floor. The air was cooler, and had a woodier aroma than the clear air of Central City.
"Spooky," Juana remarked, grinning at Tora.
Juana let her Pokémon out; given the time to rest, they were refreshed, though they were certainly ready for some treatment at a Pokémon Center. Juana breathed in deeply. The presence of so many Fairy-type Pokémon made the town light up with many ephemeral colors. Through the trees flitted flying Pokémon, including Starly (Juana made a face), Fletchling, and even the occasional Togetic. There was the takka-takka-takka of Pikipek pecking away at the trees.
A shadow passed overhead, like a group of airplanes; as it turned out, it was a squadron of Togekiss, flying in V-formation. Glittering scales fell upon the town, mingling with the canopy.
"It's straight from a movie. There's no way getting around it," Juana laughed, striding forth. Corphish gave the stink eye to a couple of Morelulls who were looking at it funny.
What Dewpider saw was dangerous pecking beaks left and right, ready to turn it into a snack. Dewpider zipped under Bounsweet's sepal, shivering.
Juana stopped as a tiny, eight-inch-tall yellow Pokémon with a brown scarf flitted in front of her and Tora. It cocked its head. "Beebee?" it said.
"Uh. Hi," Juana said. "Aren't you a little one, eh?"
"Wheebee!" said the yellow Pokémon, reaching behind it. Juana pulled out her Pokédex and took a photograph of the Pokémon.
"Ribombee. Bug/Fairy Type."
Ribombee flitted over to Corphish, Bounsweet, Dewpider, and Archie, sizing them up. Corphish absently snapped a claw at Ribombee, with this "derp" expression on its face.
Ribombee pulled out little fluff balls and deposited them in front of Bounsweet, Corphish, Dewpider, and Archie. The little bug made an eating motion, telling the Pokémon to consume the pollen puffs.
“Ribombee, come along now,” said an old woman passing by, hobbling on a cane.
“Ah, excuse me, señora, could you tell us how to get to the Pokémon Center?” Juana asked, stepping out and holding up a hand.
“It’s just down that path, dear,” the old woman replied, pointing towards the signature red-roofed building. “You two have very healthy-looking Pokémon. It’s always nice to see young Trainers like you! Ho ho!”
The old lady continued hobbling down the path, and Ribombee fluttered away. Bounsweet took the pollen puff and ate it; it was immediately washed over with a good feeling of satisfaction. Corphish snapped up its pollen puff and sneezed, while Dewpider carefully lifted its puff into its water bubble and sucked it into its mouth.
“I hope everybody in this town’s as nice as that lady,” Juana said with a shrug.

As it was getting late and the trio had injured Pokemon at hand, the three worked hard together and, while struggling, managed to carry the poachers cage with the skuntank and her babies inside, back to the Pokemon center. They would have to put off their pursuit for the night. But you could be sure Vivian would not let it end there. Tomorrow she would continue the hunt again. For now she rested and treated her pokemon before getting in a good sleep before the sun rose once again.
It had been a quite a scary day, Vivian knew this was only the beginning. She began to fear that they had run off too quick and taken on more then they could handle, then again she thought of her upset mother and injured father. With that thought Vivian vowed to do all she could to see these crooks brought to justice.

Chapter One: Broken flowers
Poachers have attacked the Vaud's botanical flower garden, following tire tracks from the scene of the crime has led to an angry mother Skuntank, the adventurers have defeated the Pokemon, what will they do now?.
Leisy was drained from the day, but she scrounged up what energy she had left to work with her friends and carry the cage toward town. Although tired, Leisy wanted to do all she could for the poor Skuntank and her litter. Despite all they’d been through with the Poison-type Pokemon, Leisy still wanted to do what good she could, and that included bringing the cage to the nearest Pokemon center and getting the family checked in.
“Take care of them, please,” she told the nurse sleepily before heading to the back of the center with her friends. They each booked a room as the center was relatively empty, quickly drifting off into sleep once they’d entered their rooms.
Before Leisy fell asleep, she released all her Pokemon — Devinco included, as the Larvitar had just been healed up — and hugged them all. “You guys are the best,” she said sleepily before closing the light and collapsing into a deep, grey slumber.
We’ll get your Pokemon back, Vivian, Leisy thought. We definitely will. Just like how we worked together to beat the Skuntank, we’ll work together to find the people who kidnapped your Pokemon.
Shanae tossed and turned slightly as she slept, brows furrowing as she her dreams turned towards what had happened the day before.
The Sharpedo that Amatorius knocked out, however, was clearly the weakest and dullest of the trio as the other two immediately headed for the opposite side of the ice — the side where Otiosus was busy blowing bubbles. “Oti!” Shanae shouted, breaking into a sprint toward her Pokemon. The Lotad paused in its Bubblebeam-ing, turning around in alarm as his trainer braked hard next to him. A little too slowly, however, as the ice carried her all the way up to the edge.
“Whoa!” Shanae yelped, attempting to scramble back. Otiosus, seeing his trainer’s distress, clamped his mouth onto her sleeve and attempted to pull her back.
Luckily he was able to, and the pair landed on the ice panting. “Thanks, Oti,” Shanae said while catching her breath, eyes meeting her water Pokemon’s before flicking to the Jigglypuff and Joltik scrambling over. “Hey, I’m fine, I’m fine,” she reassured them, not bothering to try and get up as the Jigglypuff hopped onto her lap to check his trainer’s face. “Really, Tori. I'm fine.”
Amatorius relaxed, hopping off his trainers lap before dishing another Disarming Voice at the two Sharpedo, both of which immediately ducked underwater. Sighing, Shanae checked their distance from the land again. Too far.
“All right,” she said, sighing and rising from the ice. “I’m going to make a break for it.”
Her Pokemon’s eyes widened in alarm, and Alcedo immediately clambered onto her trainer, settling on her head and securing her hold in protest of the suicide plan.
“Alci, you’re sweet,” Shanae said, heart breaking a little as she withdrew the Pokeballs, “but you also know best what happens when you mix with water.”
Just as she was about to recall her Pokemon, however, there was a large sound — the roar of a large object breaking the surface of the water, the splash much larger than what a simple Sharpedo could cause. Shanae whirled around to see a large blue-and-grey Pokemon that had a peachy-pale underbelly and gentle but determined eyes.
A Lapras, Shanae thought, eyes wide and mouth open as she stared at the large eight-foot-tall Pokemon chase away the Sharpedo with a combination of Ice Beams and Body Slams. Soon enough, the Sharpedo had abandoned their pursuit and sulked off, leaving Shanae staring up at the Pokemon that was said to be as intelligent as to understand human speech.
“Thank you,” Shanae breathed at last, snapping herself out of her stupor to give the dual ice- and water-type a polite curtsy.
The Lapras bowed its head as well, closing its eyes briefly before opening them and leaning down to examine Shanae’s Pokemon. Alcedo and Otiosus looked on respectfully at the Pokemon who saved them, each offering their own thanks as the Lapras passed its head by. On the other hand, Amatorius piped up angrily when the Lapras came close, flailing his arms around in an attempt to get the shelled Pokemon to back off.
“Whoa there Tori!” Shanae said, scooping the pink fairy-type up. “Now now, be respectful,” she told him. The Jigglypuff stuck his tongue out and looked away, pouting.
Eyes gleaming in amusement, the wild Lapras aimed a slight water gun at the fairy-type, drenching both trainer and Pokemon. As his trainer spluttered from the bitter salty tang, Amatorius jumped off and, dripping, pointed a challenging paw at the wild water-type.
“Jiggly! Jiggly, Jigglypuff! Puff!” he shouted angrily, growing slightly red as his eyes squeezed together in effort. The Lapras made a light laughing noise and dipped his head before turning and heading away. About ten Lapras-sized spaces away, the wild Pokemon stopped and turned, a glint in his eyes. Shanae’s eyes widened.
Raven entered the hotel with a satisfied outlet of breath. He'd finally gotten weedle to lighten up and bit and get more used to being around people. Plus he'd made a bit more money to fund his travels. Raven wondered how many Pokemon he should catch. He only really needed to fill out entries, other than that he didn't really need to catch any. Maybe... 5? Five should do the trick. Should balance out the types. Let's see... He had eevee, who could evolve into anything basically, Weedle who evolved into Beedrill. Ice and fire... physic... maybe a... Raven drifted off imagining what his full team would look like. Maybe tomorrow.
Tora smiled warmly as she curiously listened to the adorable story of the dreams of children. It made her a little sad, at times she wondered what it was like to play with other kids her age. Instead of sitting in her mansion in the city, sipping tea, learning proper etiquette, playing piano or singing just to please her parents and the other adults she met. Sometimes, she saw children play when she was at her grandparents, but back home in Adriana City, her district didn't really have that kind of atmosphere.
"Well, there's nothing wrong with dreaming. I wanted to ride on the back of Lugia when I was a child." Tora chuckled a bit as she remembered reading a book on the Legendary Pokemon, watching as Archie curiously sniffed around the area, bounding along cheerfully.
As the entered the woodier area, Tora could feel the difference in air. Her body was so unused to the environment, she could feel her throat slightly close up and get a little scratchy. Her brilliant blue eyes watering ever so slightly, before covering her mouth and nose with her left arm as she sneezed.
"Pardon me." Tora excused herself, as she tried to breathe a little more slowly. Despite her body's minor revolt, Feyhollow was indeed as beautiful and mysterious as her books said. So she was still happy she was here, seeing it for herself instead of a picture in the book. So happy, she almost forgot how tired she really was, her feet were struggling from all this activity. Still, she forced them to keep going. They could rest soon, just a little more body. Perhaps she should paint this place before they left?
Gingerly, she took Sirius' pokeball and released the starfish. The Staryu gave a 'Hyaa!' As it appeared, its limb fully regenerated. The timid water type glanced around timidly, a bit scared, before jumping on Tora's backpack, clinging itself to it like a starfish to a rock in case the tides threaded to wash it away. The tall trainer blinked at the extra weight, stumbling a bit before regaining footing. Sighing in relief, she looked up to see a tiny Pokemon.
"Well hello there. Nice to meet you." Tora said with a friendly smile. Archie's ears perked at the little bug, standing and sniffing at he Ribombee when it drew close. Of course when the strange Pokemon offered pollen that told her was food, Archie happily gulped it down instantly, tail wagging.
"Archie?!" Tora suddenly shouted, her voiced raised and stern like a angry and scared mother, slightly losing the calmness in it, but not loud enough to be screaming. Her fire Pokemon froze in place, ears perked straight up as she slowly turned her head toward her trainer. Eyes blinking curiously and a bit nervous. At the sight of Tora's firm expression, Archie's ears lowers as well as her fluffy tail, eyes widening in order to give her best set of puppy dog eyes. Sirius was shaking in surprise and a bit scared of its trainers sudden outburst.
When the older woman called for the bug/fairy Pokemon, Tora gave a sigh of relief, her body relaxing as she placed her right hand over her chest to relaxed the panic in her heart as she felt it slam into her chest like a mad Rhyhorn.
"Whew sorry Archie.. And thank you Ribombee." Tora said before listening to the interaction between Juana and the older woman, Tora smiled and bowed politely. "My sincere gratitude mademoiselle. It's always lovely to see a beautiful friendly face." she said before watching her and the Ribombee go.
When they were gone she looked to her Growlithe with a concerned expression. "Archie, you've got to be careful. Accepting food from just any Fairy could lead you trapped and under their spell forever. Plus, Ribombee's pollen puffs can paralyze you. Luckily, that Ribombee was genuinely nice it seems." Tora said, watching as Archie blinked sticking her tongue out and wiping it. Though it was long too late as she already devoured the delicious treat.
"Just try to be more careful okay?" Tora said before heading to the Pokemon Center. "People here do seem quite kind. And this place is beautiful. I'll have to paint it in the morning." she said to Juana, walking into the Pokemon Center. Taking out her Pokeballs, she returned her Pokemon and placed them on the counter.
"Hello, I know it's a little late but would you be willing to heal our Pokemon and offer us a couple of rooms for the night please?" Tora requested with a polite smile.
The woman nodded with a bright smile. "But of course. This will only take a moment." she said, taking the Pokeballs to go and recover them.

Despite her protesting shoulder muscles, Ella helped Leisy and Vivian carry the cage to the Pokecentre. She gave a sigh of relief as the nurse informed her all three Pokemon would survive. The group had succeeded, but there were still more to find.
After getting Treasure healed, Ella headed to the room she'd booked, sagging from sleepiness and overexertion. Once she'd fed and returned Treasure, she dug another Pokeball from her pocket. "You can come out now," she whispered as she pressed the button. She was just glad this particular Pokemon hadn't been involved in the battle.
Hissing, the Ekans disappeared under the bed. "Hey! It's alright," Ella said, crouching down, even as she kept her distance at the other end of the room. Keeping his yellow eyes fixed on her, the Ekans remained there for what must have been a minute before his new trainer managed to coax him out.
"You know... If you don't want to travel with me and my friends, I could take you back to the forest," Ella offered. "Once this is dealt with, of course." If the Ekans wanted to go back, she wasn't releasing him anywhere near the poachers.
As the Ekans slowly slithered towards her, Ella gripped the Pokeball, ready to return him if he tried to attack. Instead, after flicking his tongue out a few times, he coiled up, appearing to relax.
"Ehh... You must be hungry," Ella said, pulling a Poketreat from her bag and leaving it in front of him. Stretching out, the Ekans gobbled up the treat, then gave another hiss, a softer, satisfied one this time.
Maybe others wouldn't agree, but to Ella, when the snake hissed, he did kind of look as if he were smiling. "Good to see you happy," Ella chuckled. "So I take it you want to stay... You'll need a name, then. And I know just what it should be!"
She typed a name into her Pokedex before looking with adoration at her newest Pokemon. "Smiley. How about that? Because you really do look like you're smiling sometimes. And when you evolve, you'll have the most beautiful smiley face pattern!"
Her friends would probably consider it a questionable choice, but it made perfect sense to her.
"So..." She held up the Pokeball. "What do you want to do? Do you want to sleep in here, or...?" She didn't want to distress him again, but she still wasn't entirely comfortable at the thought of the Ekans being out of his Pokeball while she slept. Thankfully, Smiley brushed his head against the Pokeball, disappearing into it.
"Goodnight, Smiley," she said before getting ready for bed and settling under the blankets. She'd need her sleep. Tomorrow was going to be another tough day, but she and her friends would do everything they could.
When she and Tora reached the Pokémon center, Juana said, "Hey, how's about this: I'm going to the Poké Mart tonight to pick a few things up. I'll be sure to grab some allergy relief meds if you need."
Juana took her Pokémon back, and released them into the open again. Bounsweet jumped on her shoulder and whistled. Juana patted Bounsweet.
Juana peered out the window and watched several Clefairies dancing in the moonlight in a ring formation. Like a maestro, Clefable was conducting the dance. They seemed so calm, so serene--
And then a Minior fell out of the sky and thumped the middle of the ring. The rock started breakdancing in the middle of the ring of fairies, spinning on its five arms, spinning on its stony back; the Clefairies seemed quite enthralled by this, but Clefable looked angered.
Suffice it to say Minior got a Moonblast to the face, breaking it to its core. The embarrassed Minior, with its yellow core now exposed, sheepishly retreated into the sky.
The Clefable continued conducting as if nothing happened.
"Oookay. Friendly reminder that some fairy Pokémon are vicious monsters," Juana said.
She turned around, and she noticed that a Granbull had run up and was now circling her curiously; it was wearing a collar with a hanging tag that read "BUTCH".
"Hey there," Juana said, petting Butch on the head; its purple fur was surprisingly soft.
"BARK." Butch woofed. The Granbull then waddled over to Archie and gave the Growlithe another bark. It got down on all fours and sniffed through Archie's fluffy tail.
"Butch!" said a little girl in a pink dress. "No! Don't bother the other trainers!"
"It's okay, I'm sort of a dog person," Juana said, laughing. "I've got a Slurpuff back home."
Dewpider was shivering on Juana's cap. Anything with jaws larger than the width of Dewpider's head was a potential gullet for Dewpider to disappear down.
"WOOF." Butch got up and waddled back over to the girl.
"This your dog?" Juana asked.
"Yes! Mommy said I was old enough to have a pet," the girl replied. "She said for me to wait here until she came back from the store."
Juana winked. "Nice."
Corphish waved its claws in front of Butch. Butch snorted, which caused Corphish to fall over backwards, its legs waving in the air.
"So, uh, Butch was your birthday gift?" Juana asked.
"Yeah! I am 8 years old now!" the girl replied, holding up eight fingers.
Juana laughed. In most regions, the Pokémon League was quite lenient about the age at which people could train Pokémon. They seemed a bit more stringent in Kanto and Johto; that being said, Butch was a pet. Heck, Juana had pets, Slurpuff and Raticate back at Central City.
Juana reached down and patted Butch's head; the Granbull looked up and started licking her hand. Juana smelled distinctly like sugar, which prompted Butch to start sniffing.
Juana grinned at Tora. "Cute dog," she remarked.

Vivian had been unable to sleep properly, her nerves racing, wracked with stress and worry. Her own thoughts worked against her as she kept imagining the worst of every scenario. Unable to sleep and determined not to let any of those bad things happen, Vivian quietly slipped out of the Pokemon center and headed to the nearby pokemart. The lady behind the counter looked as equally tired as Vivian, but where Vivians energy came from her worries, the lady found hers in caffeine. Empathising with each other the two quickly fell into small chit chat as Vivian bought some extra poke'balls. It was in that conversation that Vivian learned the information that lead to the formation of a plan in her weary over-active tired mind. Clearing out her bank account she purchased a small cart and a map that the lady marked with the approximate location of a herd of passing horse like pokemon.
It was not too far out from the path they were taking earlier, but further than Vivian had previously traveled in that direction. She guessed the pokemon might be travelling through the clearing made by the poachers. That thought only added to her worries as she was now concerned for their safety too.
'A small detour' she told herself as she left the Pokemart awkwardly dragging the cart behind her. Once back at her room she would do her best to rest until her friends awoke and she could tell them of her new plan.

Chapter One: Broken flowers
Poachers have attacked the Vaud's botanical flower garden, following tire tracks from the scene of the crime has led to an angry mother Skuntank, the adventurers have defeated the Pokemon, what will they do now?.
"Oh you don't have to. Plus, it's a little dangerous to be wandering at night, so perhaps I should accompany you?" Tora said, concern evident in her voice, though her gentle elegant voice was starting to get a little raspy. And she couldn't hold back another slight little coughing fit.
Tora took her Pokemon back and released them from their capsules. Archie giving a happy bark while Sirius just shifted closer and clung to one of of its trainers legs. Otherwise, they were both fully healed once again. Looking toward Juana, the black haired woman curiously looked over her head to look out the window as well. Seeing the little fairy event with the rock Pokemon, Tora chuckled a little.
"Well there are several stories on Fairy Pokemon. Luring trainers deep into the forest, never to be seen again. A little lesson of not to underestimate anything cute." Tora said with a innocent smile, remembering her several studies in her Pokemon books. Some fairytales some actual research.
Turning to look at the Granbull, Tora smiled as Archie barked in surprise, fluffy tail wagging as she sniffed at the bigger doglike Pokemon's tail in return. Chuckling as she listens to the little girl, Tora knelt down, scratching the Granbull gingerly behind the ears then under the chin. Glancing to Juana, the tall woman thought for a moment and smiled.
"Very. Sadly many don't think Granbulls are on the cute side. I find them quite charming." she said before pausing. "Lady Juana, what was it like to live amongst Pokemon?" she asked, turning her blue eyes to look genuinely curious at the younger girl.
Tora had never had a 'pet' as they say. There were Pokemon, but they were specifically for medical reasons. Otherwise, her parents would never allow a Pokemon of her own. A reason she couldn't bring Archie with her as a child. The only time she could play with a Pokemon, was when she visited Central City, and that was once a year. So she couldn't help but be a little curious of how other kids who grew up around Pokemon were like.

Azerus was woken up by his pawniard just before the first rays of sunlight reached over the mountain. Groggily he rubbed his eyes and attempted to ignore the annoying Pokemon, but his pointy arms were way too much. With a grumpy huff Azerus sat up and let out a loud yawn that caused the remainder of his sleeping Pokemon to stir.
"What?"
He asked flatly and annoyed. After he cleared the sleep from his eyes and they adjusted to the darkness, he felt bad for being rude. Laying before him was some resemblance of breakfast. As best as pawniard could put together with his bladed arms at least. Azerus chuckled imagining the mess he was going to have to clean up.
"Eager to get to training huh? Alright, I'll eat this then wake the others and meet you outside."
Pawniard seemed happy by this response and nodded before darting off downstairs. Azerus looked in his leaking milk bowl, a soggy piece of bread beside a raw slice of meat sprinkled with cereal. He shook his head as got up stretching, smiling to himself.
Azerus later emerged out of the inn just as the sun began lighting the sky, having returned his other Pokemon to their pokeballs he boycotted breakfast, snuck into the kitchen and cleaned up pawniards mess. Now he was ready to do some training, not that he was too sure how yet but he figured he'd come up with something. Yawning again he spotted the little blade pokemon trying to sharpen his blades on a nearby rock.
“I mean you can if you want,” Juana said. “If the air’s that bothersome you can hang tight here.”
She patted Butch on the head again, and the Granbull bounded over to the little girl.
“Well, my family has a Slurpuff and an Alolan variant Raticate; Pokémon can certainly be way more than pets. Heck, the pup and the rat were practically family. Though that meant having to deal with a fat rat in my lap and sticky meringue-flavored dog kisses most days of the week!” Juana chuckled, reminiscing about her family’s Pokémon. “I guess if I keep talking I’ll run the risk of, you know, getting homesick or something. Haha!”
A thought of that did pass, but Juana thought her parents would like her getting out in the world, seeing things, making friends; she took comfort in that.
"Raticate and Slurpuff actually helped out around the house; when Mamá was making sweets, Raticate and Slurpuff would test them. Raticate made sure the ingredients were high quality, and Slurpuff helped check the end products with his sense of smell. Sometimes we'd sit together and have some candy, which really didn't do well for Raticate's weight."
Juana thought for a bit. "Slurpuff and Raticate never really battled, though; people hang around Pokémon for a variety of reasons as you probably know," she continued. "There was a little bit of stigma around Raticate being A. a Raticate and B. a Dark-type Pokémon, but we didn't really care. My family treated our Pokémon as part of that family."
She thought about asking Tora about her experiences with Pokémon off the Central City farm but... the time didn't seem right.
Juana turned towards the door. "I'm gonna head to the mart now," Juana said, pointing to the doorway. "Corphish is giving Butch this weird 'fite me' kind of look."
Corphish was leering at Butch, but Butch kind of just went "meh" and curled up at the little girl's feet. Corphish snorted.
"Feel free to come if the air isn't too bothersome," Juana added.

The dramatic group pose worthy of an action movie was met with only a silent, irate glare by the entranced young woman. Around her, the entourage of Morelulls blinked in surreal rhythm, jealously protesting those who would dare steal their new friend away. After a few moments, Cici drawled out her dismissal and turned to leave. Olivie eyed the deceptively adorable Pokemon who led her away using ribbons made of flesh. Several of the cruel fairies remained behind during her departure, but they remained still as if waiting. No doubt their flashes would have lulled Olivie, Bernard, and their Pokemon to sleep were they not poisoned, but the pain coursing through their veins kept them awake and alert. Unwilling to let the bewitched trainer slip away, Olivie cracked her knuckles and made to follow.
From the underbrush, a trio of bizarre, alien creatures appeared. They moved as one to block the trainers' path, staring at them with unblinking pitch-black eyes and uncanny, haunting smiles. Around them, wisps of magic revolved, but Bernard responded to the imminent assault with a smug smile, for he recognized these Pokemon. ”Shiinotic—Feyhollow's boogeymen. We made the right choice with the poison. Normally they'd be horrifying to fight, but...Scylla, Sludge Wave.”
With unexpected speed, the Tentacruel became engulfed in a rushing torrent of poisonous slop. It stormed around her like a maelstrom, overflowing with power, and when Scylla slammed herself against the ground, a riptide of sludge surged forth. It crashed into the slow-moving Shiinotic, bowling them over and inundating them with quadruple-effective toxins. Where the wave passed over, the grass was dead and brown, its plants withered. One Shiinotic, however, picked itself up. Olivie, thinking quickly, scooped up her Nidoran and hurled him at the mushroom creature with as much strength as she could muster. As it flew, the venomous rodent someone understood its purpose, and thrust his horn forward to deliver a nasty Poison Jab to his opponent's cranium. It delivered a spiteful sigh of defeat and toppled over, leaving the forest clearing quiet, still, and dark. Most of the remaining Morelull had fled, though some -caught in the sludge wave- lay dying on their sides on the now-noxious ground. Their dimming lights barely illuminated the path down which Cici and the Sylveon had disappeared; Olivie knew where she had to go next. She took a step and doubled over, barely preventing herself from vomiting. The poison had reached her guts. If she had to estimate how much fight she had left in her, she would say just over half. If she was going to save this stranger from the fairies, it would need to be done now.
Hacking violently, the forged onward, making a beeline for the blinking lights in the trees. The rest accompanied her in varying states of health. Bernard, however, collapsed to his knees. Hearing the crash, Olivie span around. "What"?" Immediately her rival's Pokemon stopped and rushed to his side, but he pushed them away. Selecting a pokeball from his bag, he sent out a birdlike Pokemon and said, ”I can't keep going. This poison is too much. You have to do it, Olivie. Painkiller, Scylla: go with her, follow her instructions. Agh! …Delilah, get me to Feyhollows...clinic.” With no hesitation, the Staravia picked her trainer up and ascended to the trees to the skies above. Olivie watched, quietly struggling with her own affliction. There wasn't much time. She started to run.
Moments later, Olivie, her Nidoran, Painkiller, and Scylla burst from the bushes near Cici. ”Hey! We're not done with you yet!” the brunette bellowed.
It took Tommy several minutes to finally stop panting, but when he did, he took a moment to consult a clock. He frowned as he realized he'd been about fifteen minutes late to his and Cici's agreed meeting place as he ran by, but she was no where to be seen and he figured she'd see him sprinting to the Pokecenter and follow. Standing and approaching the nurse at the counter, he inquired if she'd seen a girl with a guitar since this morning. "Well, I saw her walk by here earlier today, but I haven't seen her since. I do hope she's not out in the forest this late by herself though." Tommy frowned at this.
"If I might, Nurse, why?" The nurse gave Tommy a perplexed look before responding, pointing out into the dark woods that showed over the rooftops outside the door.
"Well, there have been people who disappear out there. Sometimes they come back, usually they don't though. One of the people that came back, he said that the last thing they remembered before waking up on the town's edge was a strange mist a LOT of Morelull. Since then, most people stay in town at night, even visiting trainers." Tommy frowned by nodded, thanking the nurse for the information and then for Bulbasaur's pokeball after being informed that HE had healed himself some with a synthesis while the treatment was going, but that he would always bear the scars of the attacks. Playing it safe, he had the Bulbasaur's pokeball run through the machine all the same before heading off and making his way to the woods.
When he finally found his friend, he determined, he'd have to get her cellphone number so that he could call her in the future.
At the sounds of the struggle behind her, Cici momentarily froze. Another gentle brush from one of the Sylveon's ribbons reassured her it was alright, everything would be alright, the fairies had things under control...
The forest spun and swam around her as the first rays of morning dimmed the fairies' lights. She saw a figure burst from the bushes, heard her yell something.
"I told you to leave..." Cici mumbled, the words barely audible. In the corner of her vision, she thought she saw somebody else, led away by fading lights until the greenery swallowed them up.
Her shining eyes closed, and she sagged like a doll. The Sylveon lowered her to the ground, then before the newcomer could do anything, bounded out of sight as the remaining Morelulls cleared away.
With a groan, Cici awoke. Her blue eyes snapped open, and she forced herself into a sitting position as she took in her surroundings.
"W-What? How... How did I end up here?" She struggled to make her foggy brain work. The last thing she remembered was playing music with her Pokemon, then lights, laughter... It was like trying to recall a dream she knew she'd had, but couldn't quite remember. She stared in horror at the girl in front of her, who was clearly hurt, barely able to stand.
"Ah! What happened?" She tried to stagger to her feet, only to slump back down. Her entire body shook. Ugh, she felt as if she hadn't slept for days. "Come on..." Gripping on to a tree branch, she pulled herself up. She took a quick glance at her belt. To her relief, all her Pokeballs were still there. "We've got to get out of here... Aah!" She doubled over.
Something seemed to be rooting her to the spot. The thought of leaving the forest was making her feel physically sick. Putting what little energy she had into resisting the sensation, she took a clumsy step forward.
Whatever had happened to her, the effect wasn't completely gone.
The battle itself was a joke — partially. Clearly having no intention of going all-out against the round, pink Pokemon who’d challenged him, the Lapras had playfully splashed Water Guns and the occasional Ice Beam while Amatorius danced around on the ice, avoiding the attacks and retaliating with Disarming Voice.
“Tori, let’s not do this,” Shanae started, frowning. The Jigglypuff whirled around, eyes wide in protest. “Alright, alright,” Shanae said with a sigh before kicking her mind into gear. “Let’s warm up with a Disarming Voice, shall we?”
Funnily enough, a Sing was all it took to slump the Lapras over. Although Shanae was fairly sure the Lapras had been entertaining itself and was willingly laying itself down to be caught, she couldn’t bring herself to break the news to Amatorius, whose cheeks colored with pride as his trainer held her newly-occupied Great Ball in wonder.
The morning came to Shanae in the form of faint, gentle light that spilled over her face and furrowed her brows as she turned around, attempting to block it out. She was unsuccessful, of course, and grudgingly rolled out of bed and stretched her tired limbs, pondering yesterday’s misadventures as she did so. Somehow — just somehow — she’d managed to catch a Lapras. Sure Amatorius had shown his true colors as a spoiled little ball of fuzz, but even the Lapras had been impressed with what the little ball of fluff had whipped out in battle.
“C’mon out, Tori,” Shanae said, popping open the Jigglypuff’s Pokeball. The fluffily pink Fairy-type emerged, green eyes wide as he looked around his surroundings before meekly looking up at his trainer.
“Jiggly,” he started awkwardly, eyes on his toes and pressing his two hands together in embarrassment. “Jigglypuff.”
“All’s fine, Tori,” Shanae laughed, picking up her Pokemon and hugging him. “You were just so precious yesterday!”
Squirming out of his trainer’s arms, the pink Pokemon muttered angrily under his breath, causing Shanae to laugh. “Alright Mr. I’m-too-mature-for-hugs,” she teased, opening the door, “Let’s go get some food.”
A biscuit in her mouth and two in her Jigglypuff’s, Shanae emerged from the inn while waving a thanks to the innkeeper. Looking around, her eyes spotted a boy near the front of the inn — a trainer, by the looks of the Pawniard beside him that was currently busy sharpening the blade on its arm that caught sunlight and gleamed every time the Pokemon moved it.
“Hey!” Shanae shouted, jogging over. Her Jigglypuff matched his trainer’s pace with a dozen paces on his stubby legs, prompting Shanae to slow down a bit as she neared the other trainer. “Didn’t see you around yesterday — I’m Shanae,” she said, grinning and offering a hand.
Cillian jolted awake, rubbing his aching head. A sharp pain greeted him when his fingers ghosted over a particularly tender patch, and Cillian jerked his hand away briefly before bring it back to his head. Shoot, Cillian thought, sighing as he attempted to feel the bump again before giving up and instead standing up. A Pokeball rolled off his lap, clacking on the floor but not releasing the Pokemon inside.
“All right, here we go,” Cillian said out loud, reaching for his other Pokeball to find… Two? he thought, eyes wide as he looked down at his belt. Two Pokeballs hung there — Hazmat’s and Kelby’s. Then, Cillian thought, swallowing, whose Pokeball is this?
Tora listened as Juana chattered away, bubbly and cheerful. It was quite amazing how much this girl could talk if given a topic. The older girl didn't mind however as the genuine earnest chatter was charming. Plus, it painted a nice picture of the Pokemon Juana grew up with. It sounded nice. It was funny, she thought of home, sleeping in her luxurious bed and having a butler tend to her every need without getting out of bed, fancy food to eat... Yet she didn't really miss it. It always felt... Cold in a way.
Yet she did know she'd eventually have to return to that life, it would be nice to play a regular girl for a little while. Make some real friends and have fun. Juana was the first 'friend' she made, but it already made Tora feel warm inside.
"That's sounds lovely. Perhaps I'll have to meet them someday." Tora said with a kind smile before pausing as she pondered to accompany Juana or not. To be honest, the runaway would very much just want to be awake as much as possible and enjoy company and exploring. But her throat felt tight and she could feel her feeble body tire as she stood there. Glancing out the window, she could see the peek of dawn start to rise.
As much as she hated to admit it, Tora needed a break. She rather not collapse of she could avoid it. Still, she was concerned. It was starting to lighten up so it should be fine, but the stories of Fairies did make Tora worry over Juana in going off alone. Perhaps she was just being a mother hen... But she couldn't help it.
"I think I need a little rest.. How about Archie goes with you? She's a bit too energetic for her own good anyways." Tora said looking to the Growlithe who gave a happy bark, but tilted her head, the fire Pokemon being a little concerned over her trainer, whom just patted the fluff on top of the orange head.
"Come along Sirius, let's go get some rest." Tora said to the Staryu, who happily chirped before jumping and clinging to Tora's back as they headed into their assigned room to rest.
Archie watched them go before looking at Juana, nose twitching then jumping to her feet and trotted ahead with a cheerful yip.

Leisy woke up in a start, eyes wide as she looked around in alarm for her Pokemon. The sunlight fluttering through the room illuminated the four pairs of eyes that stared at her from various locations around the room: Bidein from his handy perch on the back of a chair, Naunet at the foot of Leisy’s bed, Devinco slouching tiredly in a corner, and Cassia hiding underneath the small table on the far side of the room.
Thank god, Leisy thought, sighing in relief. She allowed herself a moment of relaxation before she slid off the bed and gathered up her things. Taking a moment, Leisy sat down in front of the table under which the Ekans was hiding, bending down to look at the small snake Pokemon.
“Hey there,” she said, looking at the snake but not moving otherwise, “how’re you doing, Cassia?”
The Ekans didn’t respond, instead choosing to maintain eye contact in sullen silence. Sighing, Leisy withdrew her Pokeballs and recalled all of her Pokemon except Bidein, giving Devinco a hug before she recalled him.
“Alright Dei,” she said, putting on a smile and heading out to the front of the Pokemon Center to find her friends, “let’s see where today brings us.”
Needless to say, Cillian was concerned about the Pokemon inside the Pokeball. What was it, how strong was it, and should he open the Pokeball?
What if it’s some useless Caterpie or something? Cillian thought with horrification, now unsure of whether or not he wanted to know what Pokemon he’d managed to spend a Pokeball on. If it really was a Pokemon he didn’t want, he’d be inclined to release it, thus rendering his 5 trainer points he’d spent on buying the Pokeball wasted. And Cillian didn’t want that to happen. It’s probably better to do it here anyway, he decided, finally making up his mind and raising the Pokeball up. No need to run and hide — I’m in control here. I have the Pokeball.
With that thought in mind, Cillian pressed the button to release his new Pokemon, waiting patiently for the red flash to abate so he could properly identify his Pokemon. But he needn’t have — he recognized the green-and-white color scheme instantly, as well as the scythe-like bladed arms that had once saved his life.
Cillian had managed to catch a Scyther. And, meeting the Pokemon’s angry eyes, Cillian knew that he had caught the Scyther.
