The walk back home was easy for Eudora. She took long comfortable strides with her hands in her pockets, breathing in tranquil air and enjoying the silence while it lasted. She turned to look back on the path, she saw nothing move or make a sound, the church had been swallowed by the distance and trees between them and Eudora muttered happily. With every step away from the place, she envisioned the negative energy that clung onto her from the church slowly billowing away into nothingness.

She walked on and on, uninterrupted and left to freely roam like she once could, the only oddity that she spot along the way was a fallen bike. Eudora stopped as the tantalising hand of curiosity took a hold of her, she slowly studied the bike, feeling no magical energy radiating from it and deducing it must be a sign. A witch such as Eudora learns to interpret signs from everything, how the wind blows could be a sign, how salty your food is could be a sign, everything and anything could be a sign in Eudora's eyes.

She interpreted the bike to be a sign of new beginnings, a sign that things have changed and a sign of the long road ahead. Was her prediction true or was it all wishful thinking? Eudora didn't bother herself with that thought and just wallowed in the temporary bliss and confidence it gave her. Whether her prediction was true or not didn't matter, she swore to herself she was going to change too. To stop being an apathetic bystander and to start being that fiery witch that dictated fate itself. And the first step to that was knowing how.

Eudora strode into her homey hut, a calming presence descending on her and washing away the negative vibes that plagued her. All was calm and still, the room had cleaned itself and no traces of the undead's ash were present anymore. Her pet ghost was nowhere to be seen, the shrunken head vanished (probably rolled under a table by accident), and the only one present was her goat, who was dozing peacefully by the fire. It raised and bowed its head once Eudora entered, the witch did the same. ”Hello, Phillip,” she said warmly as she huddled over to her cauldron that was brewing up some delicious thick orange sludge. ”Wild times, eh?” she breathed out a wheezy chuckle while gulping down a spoonful of the mysterious liquid, causing a warmth to spread in her belly and spread throughout her body. She threw herself into her rickety rocking chair, resting her aching joints as a book fell into her lap from a loose shelf overhead. It was a book on herbology, totally useless for her current problems but still, she flipped through the book just to admire the diagrams of deadly flowers and herbs.

”What to do, what to do,” she sighed thoughtfully while skimming through the book, flicking her eyes towards the black goat only to see it staring at her intently with those misshapen eyes. ”Don't suppose you know anything that could help me,” she kept her gaze on Phillip as if expecting him to reply. A few moments of silence dragged on before Eudora scoffed and returned to the book.

But now that she thinks about it, Eudora barely knew anything about Phillip. Was he a normal goat who was possessed? A demon? An entity perhaps? What evil had Eudora let into her home? But then again, Phillip was quiet and was pleasant company, a great listener too, not a massive speaker though. Eudora could've sworn she saw Phillip grow hazy or subtly switch forms at one point or another, but she pushed that thought out of her mind. Phillip might prove his worth soon, as a guide or a great main course. For now, Eudora did what she did best, wait for a sign.

Liam sighed as he nodded toward Aloise, sitting back and attempting to relax. The vision was still plaguing his mind, but he forced himself to believe, or at least to hope, that the vision itself would not come to pass for some time, or that there was perhaps some way it could be avoided altogether. Whether or not that was the case, he sighed and settled where he was for now, he'd done what he could, told Aloise of his vision, warned her, that seemed to be all he was really able to.

Sighing as he turned toward Jade once the Angel of Death had disappeared, Darren shrugged his shoulders. "Unfortunately I don't follow him on twitter, we'll just need to find him ourselves. If there's anyone in town where he might be for sure, or anyone who might know where he is, it'll be the Crypts, their manor isn't far." He sighed as he moved over to the car again, climbing into it as he waited for her to follow suit, starting to drive off once she was there, toward the manor.

Javier Crypt

Interacting With: Mercurial, Belladonna @Morose

Javier only really knew Satan in passing. He was something of a distant family friend, or at least that was perhaps the best way Javier could think to put it. Belladonna was quite well acquainted with Lucifer, while Javier's interactions with the supernatural were usually focused on southern American deities and demons. However, Javier knew well enough of Lucifer to know there could be no good reason he would be searching for the blood of a mortal. Whether Belladonna gave it to him, well, that was up to her, but he felt at the very least an urge to voice his concern. "If I may be so bold, I do believe my dearest has something in mind for this blood. I'm sure the devil himself can go and retrieve some himself, hm?"

When that kid came bursting in, Trevor freaked out more than he already was. He didn't get why the kid was staring at him, or why he was yelling. He just took a few steps back from him, and just let the others deal with him. There was nothing he could do still, except avoid everyone else. Trevor still felt a little awkward around everyone else, but that couldn't be helped.

When he heard Seraphina's comment, he felt like she might have a point. That kid was clearly anything but normal, and that was bugging him. If only life could go back to the way it was before there were people trying to kill him. Before he ended up stuck in a church with a bunch of strangers and a kid was screaming in his face.

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here

As Eudora flips through the pages of the book, she may recall a well known technique called bibliomancy. To enact it, the seer simply must have a question in mind, and flip through the pages of a book. Stopping randomly, the first sentence her eyes land upon will answer her query. The method has good accuracy, and as Eudora desperately ponders for a sign, seeking an answer or a sign, a certain description will catch her eye. It details asclepias curassavica, more commonly known as blood flower. The book goes on to describe its use in potions to ensnare the mind.

To a witch practiced in biblomancy, the interpretation should not be too hard to come to. Eudora has divined a blood ritual, as her mind twisted and turned over the events at the Church, and the omen of what was yet to come. This is her sign--a blood ritual is afoot! The question is, what will dear Eudora do with this information? Philip certainly isn't offering any answers.

Meanwhile, at the Crypt household, Belladonna's hand is still curled around the vial. She glances over at her husband, nodding slightly at his reasoning. She did have plans for the blood of a healer--and she doubted that Dr. Chang would be so kind as to allow her to claim more. Beside, she was a mother now. The dark crusades would have to wait for another day. "No," Belladonna replied simply. "Dr. Chang is not far, and there are no rules that prevent an angel from taking a human's blood."

"No, you're right," Lucifer laughed, though in his old man form, it came out more as a wheeze. "There isn't any rule against it." Pointing his fingers like guns at Mercurial, he nodded at Javier, and turned around, shuffling for the doorway. Once his hands grabbed the doorknob, however, he spun around. He snapped his fingers, summoning a blade. And then, with a cheesy smile, exclaimed "Nothing personal, Javier old boy!"

And in a surprising swoop of agility, he beheaded the immortal man. Just as Eudora had seen in her vision. The Aztecan Curse continued to pour life through Javier's veins, but it did nothing to dull the pain associated with the separation of his head from his body. And as Belladonna rushed to her husband, Lucifer snatched up the healer's blood, and went on his merry way.

Lucifer marched to the doorstep of the Crypt manor, just as Jade and Darren pulled up, ready to kill them. He waved at them cheerfully, as he unscrewed the top of the vial. Darren and Jade would be unable to see exactly what Lucifer did, but they would watch as the meatsuit fell to the ground, vacated. A scarlet smoke billowed out of the man, shooting up into the sky, and streaming in the direction of the Church.

At the church, the smoke streams in through the windows. The little boy laughs gleefully, clapping his hands together. His father has come, and the little boy spots Seraphina, his eyes widening for a moment. There's a word on the tip of his tongue, but he is soon distracted, fixating on Dr. Chang. The smoke has surrounded her, and her body stiffens. It is like she has been electrocuted almost, the way the smoke courses through her, and Dr. Chang stumbles to the ground, the room shaking.

A moment later, Dr. Chang raises her head. But it is not Amy Chang anymore. A wicked smile spreads across her features, as Lucifer is in control. "Miss me, sister?" Lucifer asks, gazing directly at Seraphina. "I've missed you. As for the rest of you...I'll give you a one minute start before I kill you all for shits and giggles. Can't rush the apocalypse, right?"

Seraphina sighed slightly still thinking that she was most likely going crazy due to the voices, they probably didn't believe her anyway she didn't see Sariel's body so they probably didn't believe her anyway. Her attention went towards the freaky little boy before her, he certainly would give her nightmares at night as he giggled and clapped like some freaky evil mastermind. Her eyes wondered up towards the broken windows seeing a red like mist coming through the shattered windows, it quickly surrounded Amy Chang around in it. "We need to leave now!" Seraphina yelled this certainly wasn't normal at all.

Sera started to back up as the mist cleared and the now possessed Amy Chang finally spoke, someone else seemed to actually know her, but she didn't even seem to remember at all. If she had her gun she would have started shooting already, but sadly she didn't anymore she needed to get everyone out. Seraphina started to run making her way towards Liam and Aloise he was giving them a minute head start he couldn't kill everyone if they scattered. "Get out of the church keep him alive." Sera said and then started to run towards the back of the church.

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: Church
Interacting With: The Devil

Eudora scanned the pages of her book silently, her eyes quivering slightly as they darted from page to page, searching, but for what? Eudora wouldn't say she felt hopeless at the moment, just apathetic. She questioned the help she really offered. Was sitting around waiting for a sign just her subconsciously trying to escape from her problems?

She sighed heavily and looked back at Phillip who was still staring at her before dropping his head and wandering elsewhere. All the hope and bliss she had left in her slowly thinned to almost nothingness. Lost in her depressing thoughts, Eudora only caught snippets and words from the book, the scent of dried herbs and ash that wafted from the book lulling her into a passive state. "Curassavica," she mumbled quietly then, "Blood..." "Ritual..." "Hallowed ground..."

Eudora paused for a moment, her eyes lit up as if going through an epiphany. Had she found her sign? Fragments of memories from the church flashed briefly in her mind, she let out a disgruntled noise as she practically leapt from her seat, ”How did I miss such an obvious clue?” she scolded herself while hurriedly dashing for the door, but not without turning around to take one last look. She felt her empty pockets while she thought. Blood rituals are a serious magic, yet she didn't feel prepared for it.

Eudora entered her house again, running from shelf to shelf and pocketing anything that seemed useful. Crushed sleeping power, a pocket mirror, her blade, various small bones, and so on and so forth. By the end of her haul, every step she took caused her pockets to jingle a little bit and Eudora felt ever so slightly heavier, but she found solace in the familiar weight of her tools.

Eudora finally exited her home, the door shutting by itself once she felt. Eudora took a calming breath, taking in the pleasant scenery of trees and streaming sunlight around her as if it's the last time she's going to see it. She readied herself both physically and mentally for this journey. Once ready, she put one foot forward and ran.

The trip back to the church was surprisingly quick but every step she took towards that church felt more and more like visiting an unwanted relative. The urge to turn away was strong, but Eudora remained persistent. Once at the church doors, Eudora was a sweating mess, her legs ached and her heart throbbed but she powered through.

With one forceful push, Eudora opened the doors, muttering ”Hello?” as she peered curiously into the room. Only then did she properly notice the mess, the child, and the fidgeting woman. The dark aura the room possessed hit Eudora's senses like a truck, she clutched the knife in her pocket protectively while frantically looking around.

A church is the last place you expect to see your dealer.

Liam Matthews

When Liam had his vision, he had hoped desperately that it wouldn't be any time soon. Ideally, he'd have been far, far away from Amy Chang when Satan finally took over, rather than in the same room. However, as the red smoke began to fly through the windows and into Amy's body, Liam staggered back from where he stood, toward the wall as he stared in relative shock. Watching her body twist and move about as the smoke filled Amy, he was overcome with fear, he knew in that moment he was helpless, what could he do to stop Satan himself? Or, herself it seemed.

His gaze finally turned away from Amy for a moment to Seraphina as she approached, raising an eyebrow as she came up to Aloise and told her to get him out of the Church. However, adrenaline flowing through his body, he didn't take a moment to think about it, sticking with Aloise, in that moment, she was really the only person he felt even remotely safe with, as such, he let her lead him, whatever decision she made, he stuck with her, he doubted running off by himself would go that well, anyway.

Pulling up outside Crypt Manor, Darren looked up to the doorway, just in time to see the meatsuit wandering out. He grabbed the angel blade without a second thought, opening the door and sprinting out toward it as he watched the meatsuit wave and lift up the vial. However, he didn't get there in time, seconds before he reached the body, it fell to the ground, the smoke flying up and into the sky before it turned and went off toward the church, that was bad. "Fuck." He said, quickly hurrying back down to the car, angel blade still held firmly in his hand. "He's gone to the church, chances are now he's got his proper body, which is going to make things a little worse."

He sighed, taking a deep breath as he sped off, turning the car around to head toward the church, he never expected to reach this point, to be chasing down Lucifer himself. When he got there, he saw as the smoke billowed into the windows, pulling up in time to see Eudora move into the Church itself. Darren didn't have a great deal of time, he needed to get in there as quickly as possible, even he wasn't sure just how much power Lucifer had, but he figured there wasn't much he needed to do to kill Darren. Keeping a firm grip on the blade for a moment, he turned to Jade. "I'm going to try and get around the back, i've probably got a better chance trying to sneak up behind him than charging through the front door." He sighed, not particularly fancying his chances either way as he got out of the car, taking a deep breath.

Javier was lucky that he'd experienced the loss of his head before. It still was agonizing, something which wasn't particularly a surprise to anyone, but he could deal with the pain now better than he used to. He appreciated at least that he was able to stop himself from letting out too agonizing of a cry as his head rolled off his shoulders and onto the floor. Looking up to Lucifer as he took the blood and left, he sighed and turned his eyes over toward his dearest, his body still standing there, rather comically reaching for where its head should have been. "Mi amor, would you be so kind as to pick me up? Mercurial darling, make sure my body doesn't wander off too far, hm?"

He asked quite calmly of them, letting the blood drip out from his neck as he lay there, waiting for Belladonna to lift him up, at least until they had a chance to fix his head back onto his body properly, he'd need a bit of help getting around.

You know, being locked in a church, with a bunch of people you don't know, and having someone get possessed right in front of you is not fun. I mean, when you stop and think about it, life just seems to blow up right in your face. *Glares at GM* You just love screwing with us and deciding that everyone should freaking die. Some of us enjoy life, even though there are times when you never really notice just how good your life has been.

I kind of feel sorry for the doctor woman, it probably blows being the chosen one to be possessed by the devil. She was kind of a pain and acted like everyone else is below her, but I just can't help but feel bad for her. Seraphina is yelling at the two people who haven't really done much in the church, but then again neither have I.

I really hope this doesn't end with my death, *Looks at GM again* but then again, you never know what could happen with her rolling the dice. I just hope that everyone else in the building isn't dumb enough to stick around with the devil. Or his creepy kid that had come running in the room screaming at me.

You know what, running away from what looks like the devil and his (probably) killer son seems like a good idea *runs towards the exit of the church*

The Church: - Seems the Church is the place to be. Everyone who attempts to flee the Church will successfully get out. Aloise ushers Liam outside, barreling through a side exit just as Eudora enters through the front, and Seraphina escapes out the back with Hanson. Seraphina and Hanson will run into Darren, holding an angel blade, as he goes to sneak up on Lucifer. The rolls are with you--for now. Lucifer hasn't noticed Darren yet, or more likely, he doesn't care. Question is, will you risk it? Will you kill the devil or die trying?

As Trevor runs outside, pushing past Eudora, he'll see Jade, the detective. She looks a little worse for wear, clutching an angel blade as well. She, along with Eudora, enter the church, walking right into the devil's line of sight. The devil, still wearing Amy Chang like a prom dress, twists his face into a smile. "Eudora, my child...How good it is to see you...You always were one of my favorites," Lucifer taunted, practically sashaying as he walked forward to meet the witch. He then turned, grinning even more darkly at Jade.

"And how did you escape hell, little one?" Lucifer asked, as the antichrist started playing with a knife in the corner of the church. Kids, right? They're so damn cute. Jade grimaces, clutching the angel blade in her hand a little tighter. Lucifer notices it, raising an eyebrow. "You're here to kill me?"

"Bitch, I might be," Jade snapped.

Crypt Manor: - Belladonna scoops up Javier's head, holding him delicately in her arms. His blood drips all over her dress, and the ruby red liquid only highlights the paleness of Belladonna's cheeks. As Mercurial chains Javier's body to a post, in order to keep it from going away, Belladonna glances down at her husband slightly. "Oh dearest, just like our wedding night," Belladonna practically purrs. Of course, as fun and romantic as everything is, Mercurial frowns. She moves away from Javier's body, crushing its fingers when it attempts to grab at her legs. "As much as the apocalypse is enjoyable, I am not quite ready for hellfire," Mercurial says sourly. "You may detest me for this, mother, father, but I prefer the devils of humanity to this." Her eyes flash darkly, before she fetches her supplies.

As Seraphina quickly goes out through the back of the church still clenching her injured shoulder groaning slightly it still hurt like hell, the good thing though was that the bullet had been removed. She still wasn't in any shape to drive yet as she dug through her pockets and tossed Hanson her car keys. "My car still works you okay with driving?" Seraphina asks just as she bumps into Daren and quickly backs away looking up at the man, Sera sighed loudly luckily it wasn't a dead man like she encountered earlier in the day. Her eyes wondered down towards the angel blade in Daren's hand and then eyed him, she wasn't sure if the man was crazy just going in there with a sword or suicidal. "I don't think going in there is a great idea." Sera said as she backed away from him, then she looked over the corner seeing Aloise and Liam just getting out through a side door.

Still remembering the word in her head Sariel had told her before she died was to protect him, though she wasn't sure if she would be a good enough guardian or not. Seraphina started making her way over towards the two of them looking over at the two people still holding her shoulder. "I have my car at the front of the church, it will be quicker and get as much distance as possible from her." Seraphina said turning her head slightly through one of the broken windows seeing Jade approaching Lucifer and Eudora. If they were going to distract him it would be much better and they could get away.

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: Church
Interacting With: Jade and The Big Baddy (@Morose)

Eudora practically plastered herself to the door, she was high on the adrenaline as she drew her blade out. ”Don't speak to me like that, you imp!” she hissed at him while waving the silvery tip of the athame, ”Go back to the rock you crawled out of,” Eudora's mind was too hyped up on the ecstasy she received by bad mouthing the devil to think clearly. What was she doing trying to go up against the father of all evil alone? She could see it now, Lucifer laughing manically as he holds her in the sky while breaking all her bones. ”No,” she said clearly and proudly in her mind. She was going to stand her ground, she was going to fight, and she was going to send him back to his cage.

All that confidence momentarily vanished as Jade entered the room. Eudora suffered momentary fear, thinking it was some beast the demon summoned but she sighed with relief once she saw it was some mortal. Eudora felt both security and anger at that moment too. Security as now she had someone to throw in front of her to take a blow for her, and anger because she couldn't believe someone was dumb enough to try to fight the devil.

”Oh,”

She paused. ”I'm that idiot too,”

The realisation set in, they were just a couple of idiots trying to fight off the harbinger of the apocalypse with a zero percent chance of surviving. And then she noticed Jade's angel blade, Eudora went through a momentary flash of envy but at least their chances were ever so slightly better now.

Eudora dug in her pockets clenched her fist around a vial of blessed water, holy water to Wiccans, and held it behind her back. She turned and looked at Jade, slightly puzzled at the bravery she demonstrated. She gave Jade a curt nod, as if to say "I'm here and ready to help."

She faced the beast again, wincing slightly at how he treated that poor victim but determined none the less to end this here and now.

Liam Matthews

Location: the Church -> Anywhere but the Church
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

Liam definitely didn't make an effort to avoid Aloise leading him out of the church. At that moment, getting away from the Devil, as far away as possible, was the best thing he could have been doing. He wasn't sure how exactly they could deal with this, fighting the Devil didn't really seem like something they would be able to do, but he wasn't the specialist in dealing with the supernatural. He figured, or at least hoped if there was any way to fight the Devil, or to lock him back in his cage, Aloise would know it. How true that was, he didn't know, he may never have known, but it was a hope.

For now, Liam focused on running, staying as close to Aloise as he could, wherever she led him, he figured it would be better, safer than the church was. It was a fight to not let dread set in, this was literally the end of the world after all, it wasn't an easy thing to do, to find some way to be optimistic and hope that things would work out in the end, without him dying horribly.

Darren Andrews

Moving to the side of the door as everyone began to sprint out of the Church, Darren kept a firm grip on the blade in his hand. As Seraphina ran out and spoke to him, he did consider her words. What he was doing probably was suicide, but he wasn't sure if there'd be a better opportunity to take Satan out, and if he didn't manage to do that, well, they'd just all die anyway. Taking a deep breath, he watched as the others moved off and turned his gaze back inside, focusing on Satan as he watched Jade, pleased that the Devil was more focused on her for now as he moved into the church as carefully and quietly as he was able.

He clenched his fist around the angel blade as he moved carefully. Whether or not he'd die there wasn't something he was considering anymore, in his mind, now that Satan was around, it was do or die anyway. If he didn't die here, he'd just die later, far more helpless and having missed the opportunity. When he was close enough, he put all his effort into the stab, lunging forward to try and force the blade through Satan's back, and hopefully right through his, or, well, whatever counted as his heart.

He grinned as he 'sat' there, turning his gaze over to his daughter as she crushed his body's fingers. "Darling, try not to break too many of your father's bones, it's always a pain when I get the body back." He asked kindly as she moved off and upstairs, getting her equipment to go and do something. He gave a proud smile from where he was in Belladonna's arms. "They grow up so fast, no? Now dearest, do you think you could work on putting my head back on?"

Well, this sucks… No matter what happens, something crazy will happen. I mean, look at what just happened… Someone ran INTO the Church like a lunatic. The old woman was still standing there as well. Maybe I should give them my business card if they survive. I mean, they clearly need some psychiatric help to go running in to face the devil. I could use some professional help myself to be honest. The past days have been quite hectic, so I might see about calling a few friends…

Oh, almost forgot! I didn’t mention this the last time we had a little chat, but the fact that I’m talking to you at all probably is a BIG clue. I have an interesting skill, and the GM herself called me the Deadpool of the group. For those of you who don’t know who that is, look him up, he is an AMAZING comic book character. I learned at a young age that something was not right with the world, so I start keeping an eye out for anything. Now here I am, talking to all of you, and hoping the GM doesn’t get so annoyed to the point where she murders me horribly via one of her minions.

Now that that is out of the way, where was I. Oh, right! The crazy people at the church. Well, Seraphina’s car is still here, so I might want to get close to it, since it is probably the fastest way away from here. Wait… Sylvia’s body is still in the backseat… Um, well this is awkward… I don’t want to be the one to move her. Maybe Seraphina will have an idea. Speaking of which, I think I hear voices coming from the side of the church. Sounds like a few other people got the brilliant idea of running away. I think I’ll just stand here and wait for them…

Crypt Manor: Belladonna smiled coldly, though it was with love for her dearest. Setting his head down gently, Belladonna fetched the small sewing bag from the cabinet, and procured a spool of thread. She treated it with juice from the eye of a newt, and threading it in the needle, set at work for sewing her husband's head onto his body.

"Javier, my love," Belladonna paused, with a frown. No matter how much she sewed, the stitches evaporated within moments. She smiled coyly at him. "Did you replace my eye of newt with dragon's rum again, dearest?" She turned her head slightly, raising an eyebrow as their daughter returned, ouija board in hand. "Mercurial, darling, whatever is that for?"

"Information," Mercurial replied succinctly, setting the board up on the ground. She hardly paid any attention to the actions of her parents, and set her fingers delicately on the planchette. Muttering a few Latin words under her breath, Mercurial called out to the spirits of her ancestors, all while Belladonna searched for the appropriate tonic to apply to the stitches, and reattach her husband to his form.

The dim face of a long since dead Crypt appeared on the other side of the veil. And whilst the living Crypts could not see her, the spirit took Mercurial's hands in her own, and used the peculiar gift that perhaps had resulted in her own death. Her mind wandered, traveling to the Church, and the scene appeared in Mercurial's mind's eye.

As to what she saw, well...

Inside the Church: Lucifer's lips curled into a smile, as Eudora fetched the vial from her bag. With a lazy motion of his hand, he sent his child, the antichrist, over to deal with the witch. "Have fun, kiddo," Lucifer grinned, as the demonic child dashed over to Eudora, armed with a knife. Jade meanwhile, kept her eyes locked on Lucifer, watching for any sign of trouble.

And as Darren thrust the angel blade forward, the blade met flesh. But rather than stabbing the devil in the heart, Lucifer had spun around, his hand catching the blade. "Did you really think it'd be that easy?" Lucifer sneered, pulling the knife by the blade from Darren's grasp. "Here's a lesson on how to kill someone, kiddo. It'll cost you, though." And with a demonic grin, Lucifer drove the blade through Darren's heart, snickering as he did so.

But his laughter did not last for long. For just as life began to slip away from Darren, Lucifer's expression of murderous bliss changed to one of surprise. The tip of an angel blade pushed its way through Lucifer's heart. Lucifer, Darren, and Amy fell to the ground at Jade's feet, dead.

"I'm sorry, Darren," Jade said quietly, brandishing the bloodied angel blade. The antichrist screamed, looking at the fallen form of his father, giving Eudora the perfect opening to kill the demonic child. And in a moment, the antichrist's body would stain the floor of the Church as well.

Outside the Church: The air outside will seem to clear, as if a dark and nefarious substance has finally been removed. There are no other survivors beyond those at Crypt Manor, and those hanging around the Church. The sun hasn't quite peaked out from the clouds, but that's normal for Washington. The skies are overcast with clouds, and distantly, you can hear a bird begin to sing.

Somehow, everyone will instantly know what happened, a sort of funny feeling in their stomach. It's over. The world has been saved--for now, at least. They can go home.

Seraphina Adams

Location: The Church
Interacting With: The Church Crew & The dead Antichrist & the dead Lucifer

Seraphina's curiosity started to get the best of her as she decided to stick around for a little bit longer she cautiously started to make her way towards one of the shattered windows of the church. She peered into the church as she leaned forward as she watched Daren, Jade and the old lady Eudora that probably tried to give her some weed earlier for the pain. She watched as Lucifer using Amy's body as a puppet approached the three of them. Lucifer was very certainly very cocky as he spoke, Sera continued watch from where she was at when Lucifer suddenly stabbed Darren through the heart. Seraphina quickly covered her mouth to hold back a scream, as Lucifer sent the crazy demonic child she had met just moments ago outside of town to fight Eudora.

To her surprise Sera watched as Jade dashed forward and stabbed Amy/Lucifer through the chest, finally killing the devil in front of her. The demon child Sera could hear him scream at the loss of his father, though it was a good thing she somehow did feel bad for the creepy child but the thing needs to die as well. Once the deed was finally done Sera stepped back she got the feeling that it was finally over the, getting the sense of calm as Seraphina looked over towards Aloise, Liam and Hansen who probably watched it as well.

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: Where she needs to be
Interacting With: No one

Eudora readied herself as the little imp was sent after her, she tensed her muscles and her fingers twitched, aching to release a bolt of magic or throw her blade. She took a sideways glance at the girl by her side, would Jade make it? Hell, would she make it?

Her thoughts were interrupted by a shrill yell, she snapped her head forward only to see a man she didn't know lunge himself at Lucifer. ”No!” she flinched towards him, blade at the ready only to freeze, her arm still in the air and pulsing with energy. Her bright eyes flicked towards the man's blade and recognised it immediately as the angel blade. A spark of hope bloomed in Eudora as she saw the very tip of the blade pierce inside the devil's flesh, but it was quickly snuffed out once Darren's body dropped like a stone. Disgust coursed through her veins and she prepared to attack but froze once more when she noticed Jade was gone from her side, her eyes flicked back at the devil and there she was, standing over the still and bleeding bodies.

The sudden tranquil was shattered by the brat's screeching and Eudora wrinkled her nose in disgust. She glanced at the child and was annoyed despite her caring and nurturing nature. To Eudora, this wasn't a child, it was a demon masquerading as one. She saw past that soft round face and saw him for the hellish spawn he was. Eudora was robbed of the satisfaction of killing the devil, she wasn't going to be robbed of the satisfaction of killing his mistake either.

She stepped forward, not bothered by the looks she was going to get by committing the act and just plunged the knife into the back of the boy's head. A quick and easy death, Eudora didn't care for the "child" but she wasn't evil either. The boy's body dropped like the rest, splayed out and dead-eyed as blood dripped out of his wounds. Eudora for a moment felt slight pity but quickly pushed the feeling out, years of dangerous magic has taught her a very valuable lesson. What must be done must be done, and if it involved killing a child, then so be it.

Eudora straightened up again, pulling the blade from the boy's head with her still and uncaring expression as she washed the knife and her stained hands with the holy water while muttering some dead latin prayer for the deceased. After, Eudora took one last look at the church, one last look at the blood, the gore, and the grief. She turned and stepped out of the building and into the crisp and cool air. She breathed in the calming winds and leaned her stout body against the church door. Looking at the world she helped save, Eudora felt a sense of pride swell in her, the thrill of being there to help felt amazing. Perhaps this time Eudora wouldn't retreat back to the woods only to come out a century later to stop another apocalypse, this time she wanted to help again. Perhaps hex an abuser or blind a stalker all while sipping tea sagely and spouting riddles that only made sense at the right time.

Eudora would now finally attain that human interaction she craved, that sense of control and power, and it only took killing the devil to find the best way how.

Liam Matthews

Location: Outside the Church
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

Still running with Aloise, Liam found himself brought to something of a standstill as the air began to clear miraculously. He took in a deep breath of what felt like fresh air for the first time in a while, turning his gaze back toward the Church. Nothing came out of it, no devil chasing them all down to bring death to them and the world around them all. Momentarily, he thought back to the moments he'd been sprinting out of the church, and he recalled for a moment seeing a few people enter, had they fought Satan? Or, more specifically, had they actually won?

He waited a few moments longer, and as still nothing came from the church, Liam let curiosity get the better of him. Moving closer, he kept his eyes on the church as he peered inside the door from a distance. Amy Chang wasn't standing there any more, just a woman in her place, holding a blade, and another man on the ground, clutching at his chest. It really was all over, somehow, miraculously, someone had managed to kill the devil, and, well, save the world. For the first time in a while, Liam smiled properly, turning back toward Aloise as he chuckled, mostly in shock. "So... What now?"

Javier Crypt

Location: Crypt Manor
Interacting With: Belladonna @Morose

Smiling warmly to Belladonna, he shuddered somewhat at the feeling of his exposed nerves and muscles being set down, it was always an odd feeling which he'd never quite gotten used to. Once his head was secured back atop his shoulders, he smiled as she began to work on stitching it all back together, chuckling softly at her question. "Mayhaps, dear, I believe the eye of newt is on the bedside table, so good for a sensual massage, no~?" He almost purred with a grin, turning his eyes to the side to watch his daughter as she pulled out her ouija board.

As Belladonna went off to collect the right tonic, Javier struggled for a moment or two to remain balanced on his shoulders, but managed not to fall to the floor before she got back and set to work. The stitched each set a pang of pain through him, but it was nothing worse than their usual nightly routine, he almost enjoyed the feeling as his head was properly re-attached. "Thank you dearly, mi amor."

Darren Andrews

Location: The Church
Interacting With: Jade Cornish, Satan @Morose

Darren had, for a moment, closed his eyes when he stabbed, having not expected to be even remotely successful. But he felt the blade hit flesh, a burst of hope rushing through him as he pulled his head up, eyes shooting open. But he was not met with a welcome sight. Eye-to-eye with Lucifer, his gaze turned down to his hands, seeing that the devil had taken the blade in his hands. Momentarily dread ran through him, and he was unable to fight against Lucifer ripping the blade from his hands. In an instant, his life flashed before his eyes, and less than a second later, he let out a gasp as the blade sunk into his heart.

Falling back to the ground, he breathed weakly and clutched at the wound as he crawled back, blood pooling below him as he looked up to Lucifer, in time to see the blade stick through his back before he too fell, Jade standing behind him. Though he knew his time was up, and due to the deal he'd made to bring Jade back, his fate was sealed, Darren couldn't help but smile. He may have been dying, but he was dying doing ultimately what was his greatest effort as a Hunter, he'd played a major part in preventing the end of the world, Lucifer was dead, and on a personal note, at least in his mind, Jade would live.

He heard her words, and let out a soft chuckle, blood gurgling up as he coughed it out onto the floor, leaning up against one of the pews as he watched her, shaking his head. "It's alright..." He said weakly, feeling as life began to flood away from him. Taking a few moments to breathe, he rested against the pew, watching the body of Lucifer as he spoke up again. "Jade... Hell isn't that bad... Right?" And just like that, he was gone, his head went limp, eyes dim as the life left his body, his story ended.

This feeling, its weird. Everything must have ended, but I wonder how things turned out for those who had gone into the church. Hmm, well, they could have died, but I seriously doubt it considering the fact that I can tell that the devil is dead. The problem is, what to do now. There are not that many people left in town. So what are we supposed to do, try and rebuild it?

You know what? My curiosity is getting the better of me. I'm heading back into the church to see what happened. So, heading over to the door, I kind of am worried about what will happen when I open the door. First I'll do the smart thing and peer inside instead of just barging in. Opening the door, and peering inside. The scene is weird if you ask me, the lady who was possessed is now on the ground, with another woman standing there with some kind of blade. You know what, I think I'm just going to stay back and not go inside the church again...

"Good evening, this is Amelia Pilkvist from World News Now, with exclusive coverage of the Altsoba Massacre." The woman forced a grim smile, before listing the details of the press release issued by the White House in the early hours of the morning. There had been, in fact, no supernatural activity at Altsoba, as Amelia explained. A hallucinatory chemical had been put in the water, and with the religious paranoia about the end of the world, the residents of Altsoba slaughtered each other. There were only a few survivors from the tragedy.

"A new cemetery, named Owen's Field, is dedicated in the memory of those who perished in the massacre," Amelia continued. "Forensic units are still attempting to identify all of the deceased. The following individuals have been confirmed casualties: Lysander Adder, Vivian Adder, Caitlyn Smith, Elizabeth Hawthorne, Joel Schroeder, Daniyal Lohi, Howard Brighton, Jessica Sorreast, Danica Graves, Samantha Hunter, Zachary Carpenter, Katsumi Mitsukuri, Scarlet Warrington, Sylvia Strange, Amy Chang, and Darren Andrews."

The names of the dead scrolled across the screen. As Amelia continued, it was revealed that the President would be attending the funeral service at Owen's Field. The town of Altsoba is no longer inhabited, with all the survivors quickly fleeing. It hardly seems likely that anyone will want to return.

"However, a small religious sect explains that the Altsoba massacre resulted in the death of the devil," Amelia finished up. Her smile, while still grim, had more of an air of humor to it. "And now, it's time for sports."

Six Months Later...

While the general public might believe that the apocalyptic events that struck Altsoba and the world at large never happened, there were those who knew better. The devil may have perished, but the supernatural continued to roam the world. There were ones who attempted to do good--white witches, prophets, and benevolent vampires--but there were also those who did not. The supernatural were called necromantics, and in the privacy of the Oval Office, a covert operation was set up to rid the world of the remaining supernatural threats.

The Organization for the Methodical Eradication of Necromantics, nicknamed O.M.E.N., was responsible for the cover up of the events at Altsoba. This organization knows no grey areas--if they encounter a supernatural being, they slay it. Some of those in the know call it corrupt--others simply call it merciless, efficient, practical. But curiously, its first leaders, a pair of brothers from Kansas, vanished two months ago...

Aloise Zamora and Liam Matthews: After the events of the apocalypse, Liam asked Aloise to teach him to hunt. She refused, instead training Liam to protect himself. The pair of them are roaming the country on a glorified road trip, with Aloise eagerly wanting to see it all. She wants to travel the world some day. There have been some attempts to recruit them by O.M.E.N., but the pair of them have shied away. They aren't that different from those O.M.E.N. hunts. A prophet and a dead girl are better off keeping to themselves.

Belladonna Crypt and Javier Crypt: These two lovebirds ended up taking another honeymoon (their third? sixth? tenth?). They're touring the sites of famous serial killers in the U.S., with plans to relocate to Transylvania. The love birds had already put a payment on a decrepit old manor house, when Belladonna became pregnant with twins. Currently, the twins are going to be named Warkleigh and Elvira. The Crypts couldn't be happier.

Eudora Erebus: Our little forest witch gets out of town, wanting to go as far away from Altsoba as she possibly can. And this turns out to be New Orleans, Louisiana. Rather than staying in the confines of the woods, Eudora adapts to a city-ish lifestyle, opening up a small little shop. Those who need magical favors come to her for advice. From time to time, a pair of O.M.E.N. agents will come in.

Walter Hanson: It didn't take O.M.E.N. long to issue an arrest warrant for Hanson, classifying him as a terrorist. His exact crimes aren't revealed to the public, but per the conditions that O.M.E.N. was created with, he'll be sent to the electric chair. His whereabouts are unknown, with supposed sightings in Brazil, Texas, and Alaska.

Jade Cornish: Jade returned to England, having had enough of the United States for a while. And instead of seeking her father's approval, she went to her uncle, the only real family she ever had. Working for the British government in some more than covert operations himself at this point in his life, he knew all about O.M.E.N. and warned Jade against bringing Darren back to life. She would be killed if caught. She currently works for her uncle in covert operations dealing with necromantics, at the seemingly more benevolent British equivalent of O.M.E.N. One week ago, she was contacted with an offer to run the American branch. She has not refused.

Mercurial Crypt: She relocated to Transylvania, having been accepted at the University of Bucharest. While her parents are still in the United States, Mercurial went early, beginning her program in psychology and death studies. They allowed her to design her own area of concentrations, after some not-so-subtle persuasion.

Seraphina Addams: The PI business is a bit slow in New York, but it isn't that bad. She comes home one day to find a street kid, Emmie, hanging around the apartment. The girl helps her out with a client, and Seraphina takes her end, serving as her legal guardian. But as much as Seraphina tries to find information on the supernatural, she only hears whispers of an organization named O.M.E.N. A letter arrives in the mail from Aloise one day, advising her to keep her head down. Seraphina is a fallen angel, after all.

Trevor Martin: His fate is perhaps the most tragic. As if the blood in Altsoba was not enough, Trevor was murdered during a bank robbery four months ago. With no friends and family to claim his body, he was buried in Owen's Field along with the victims of the Altsoba massacre.

And back in Altsoba, with the dust settling on the city, only a few paranormal investigators have dared to enter, dragging along television crews as they go. The town is desolate, a shadow of its former self. Blood still stains the streets, with no one daring to disturb the place where so many took their last breaths.

But within the Reverend's old house, something begins to move...
