Jace Williams - Atlanta Georgia - The Revenge Continues

"AAAH" Andrea Mendez screamed in horror as she saw her husband laying on the ground with his head ripped off blood pouring out. She'd gotten home from a long day at work at the probation office down town. She knew she had some violent criminals but this was totally different, she went to get her phone and call 911 only for her phone to be shot out of her hand. She whizzed around in fear while drawing her gun only to see none other then Jace Williams.

"You piece of shit! My husband! YOu murderer! I'll make you fucking rot! Do you know who I am! Stupid fucking brute, you should have shot me. I'll make sure you spend the rest of your years rotting in prison! In-fact I'll set you up to do 40 years, get beaten eveyday, starved, and just when you think its over the death penalty that'll be a gift at that point you fucking."

"Shut up Andrea, you see what I did to your husband, I'm on a whole different level, regular laws don't apply. That little warrant you put out for me dosen't mean shit, cause 12 can't arrest me no more." Jace stepped forward dropping his own gun and Andrea didn't hesistate to pull the trigger.

He chuckled as the bullet hit his chest and did nothing. Her eyes widened as she fired again and agian but Jace ran forward snatchingt hegun out her hand and body slamming her into the wall causing her to grunt in pain. "Oh how's it feel, a taste of your medeicine bitch, don't worry I've got plans for you." Jace said with joy as he walked over to Andrea, as she got up to struggle he pushed her back into the groudn then spit on her.

She winced in disgust, as Jace leaned down grabbing her and lifting her up then slamming her into the wall with force once then twice. Finally he took out his knife and grabbed her arm cutting all the fingrs off her right hand one by one while laughing and humming twinkle twinkle little star. "Come on didn't you tell me it was good to hum in jail hmm."

"What are you..fucking demon..please."

"Sssh..stupid bitch.," Jace said as he leaned forward and licked her face then laughed." I can taste the fear..don't worry I won't kill you, trust me I have something better planned." Jace reached for her and next thing she knew was lights out.

When Andrea came too she looked up and realized she was in pitch black. Then she felt a putrid smell she moved around and felt a substance. Shit literally..oh my god.. Finding out she was surrounded by excrement wasn't even the worst part she realized where she was in a coffin, Jace had literally buried her alive. "NO NO NO NO!!!!!! NO OH M GOD PLEASE NO!!!!!" She screamed and then she saw a opening of light seeing Jace who opened the coffin. "Scared."

"PLEASE JACE IM SORRY! IM SORRY! I can get your brother out, I'm friends with the judge I."

"Oh no need here I have a present for you though you hungry?" Jace laughed as he had a bucket in his hand and dumped a bunch of bugs on top of the PO, ants, and all sorts of critters. Then he closed the coffin, and proceeeded to kick it deep into the ground then buried it. He'd drove her into the middle of nowhere, leaving her covered in shit and bugs with no food supply. He laughed he'd also left an audio device connected to his phone so he could listen to her suffer and laughed. He walked away from the burial site hopped in his car, and drove off today was a good day.

"Another one bites the dust literally." Jace laughed as he began singing the lyrics to the song as he drove away. It wasn't long before he was back in his old neighborhood and saw his Auntie Keisha there. He had her organize a charity event of sorts in the area. She seemed peeved as he said some prominent speakers would be here, and a musician.

"Damn it Jace why'd you organize this shit, you've got all these folks, all these kids out here for what to bullshit em, like you wanna BS me that's one thing but everyone in my hood that ain't cool, all we done for you."

"Calm down Keisha damn, you think I'mma do yall like that! Now then! I can't even flex, I lied to yall about the speakers, and the musicians and all that shit, you know I can't get none that shit so yal lstupid if you believe that but I got somethign even better." Jace said with joy as he walked over to his car and went to open the back-seat as a truck was pulling up next to him. Luke took out a bag and walked over to Keisha handing her a stack of money 10,000 dollars wrapped up." I love you auntie." Jace said hugging her and she stared at the money in disbelief.

"Come on! Come get ya mafucking bands, ya know I told yall we all going come up together." Jace said as he began handing out similar wrapped up bundles of cash that contained either 5,000 or 10,000 dollars to other people who'd helped raise him including the local pastor, a woman struggling with three kids, and some others. As he was doing that the people in the truck opened it up and began giving out bikes, xbox ones, PS4's, toys, and other things Jace had bought for the youth in his neighborhood. It wasn't long before all the generosity had attracted a news crew with a title Christmas came to the Hood Early, Jace was just focused on giving back to his community at first declining to talk with reporters.

"Man damn yall won't get these cameras out my face, I mean shit I ain't tryna be no celebrity ya digg. I'm just someone who use to live outchea ya feel me, and when I got my bread it was time for me to give some shit back ya know what I'm saying. That's all I'm saying, all these people is part of me, so now that I'm on my come up shit I gotta bring em up with me, I ain't one of those people who gets some cash and forgets everything and everyone who helped me. Ya know what I'm saying, really only thing I could ask for is check out my music, my new tape just dropped couple days ago...Savage Streets, check it out, and ain't no MPA guidelines, cause this shit is for all ears. Yeah it's got some shit up in it, but it's my life, it's the life my people going through ,and someone needs to potray this shit real raw, yeah it'sg ot some beats but this ain't no club turn up music this real shit, but at the same time I'd rather bump some real shit when I'm out anyway ya feel me."

"And there you have it people, upcoming Atlanta rapper Herc is out trying to give back to the community. His new mixtape Savage Streets has been picking up a buzz in the streets of Atlanta, and he has immense support from his community, although we disagree with Mr. Herc the content isn't the best thing for children, he seems to come from a good place, he seems genuine, and perhaps we need more people like him in the upcoming generation of the hip hop community" The reporter was speaking on behalf of Jace, impressed with what he was doing his neighborhood and also glad to be covering such an interesting story.

Jace Williams - Atlanta Georgia - The Next Target

After his afternoon on giving to people, he decided to enjoy himself. He'd made his way back to his new apartment, he was sure giving away money on TV might have drawn some attention he didn't need especially since he had a warrant. But he decided he wasn't worried about the police anymore, they couldn't do anything him. One thing that did concern him was all the crazy stuff on the news and not the stuff he had caused.

Some things that had caught his attention was the story about a weather woman who they believed was doing more then predict the weather, someone who caused fire to emerge from their hands according to reports, the mysterious explosion, and some other stuff. There was so much stuff being talked about. Some thought these were signs of the Apocalypse, others thought it was a hoax, Government experiments, alien experiments, and the one that resonated with him the most was people with superhuman powers.

None of them made sense, but what he could do that made sense and if there were other people out there with powers. He didn't care who they were he just didn't want to cross them and considering his anger problems that would be hard. "As long as they ain't got no beef with me I'm cool, cool, ah girl where you at I need that mouth!" Jace yelled out to a girl in his room as he went over to his table to finish rolling a massive blunt he'd rolled it was an exentedo with about four grams in it. He sealed it then light it up.

"Mhmm this that good shit gahhh damn, Luke really do got the plugs for that bomb shit, ." Sure he had tons of free weed, but he'd went to Luke to get some even better weed yesterday and it was excellent. His female companion came out to join the smoke sesh and after about a quarter of the extendo was done Jace just rolled his eyes." Ight unless you wanna get the fuck out the crib Imma need you to get to sucking, I don't keep you around to get high, I can do that shit by myself."

"Damn Jace always got an attitude..but ight baby." Jace rolled as his eyes as she went to work and he continued smoking just enjoying his life. About an hour later he was on the move again extremely high, and drinking Hennesey and coke in a large gas station cup placed in his cup holder. "Damn this shit good." Jace thought as he downed some more of his drink proceeding to get more drunk which made his driving worst and worst.

"Damn...Driving Drunk is fucking fun." Jace laughed at the thought of that as he made his way into a parking lot and parked. He reached for a blunt tucker behind his ear, and rolled up his windows before taking the keys out the window. He proceeded to hot box the car, and finish his cup. After finishing the stepped out the car tossing the cup, spraying some blunt spray in the car, and cracking the windows, then locking the doors.

"Alright now I'm feeling fucking right, faaaaded. ." Jace was humming the lyrics to Drake song Both seeing as how he was both drunk and high. He pulled the mask over his face, and tucked his gun his waist as he walked through the streets of a relatively wealthy neighorhood. His target was Lauren Cohens, the police officer who arrested Ebony, got her to snitch, and subsequently arrested him and his brother uprooting his life.

He made his way over to Lauren's house, and smiled seeing her car was in the drive-way as well as her sons. He had been watching her spot for the past two days, and knew the routine. Her husband was yet to get home, it was only her, and her son who was in college. Jace went to the door and knocked a few times. Finally the door swung up open and her son looked at him with fear and suspiscion. "Ummm..dude halloween is a long ways away..I'm guessing you got the wrong house..trust me with the way you smell you have the wrong house my mom is high ranking in the APD" The son was refereeing to the fact that Jace smelled like straight marijuana.

"Oh no I'm here, and Kush is cologne boy." Jace pushed the son back and cloesd the door behind him. The son was about to react before Jace pulled out a gun and kicked the boy to the ground raising the gun." MOOOM!!!!!!"

The son yelled, and Lauren came running down the stairs only to freeze when she saw the masked man pointing a gun at her son." Oh my god..listen whoever you are, your making a mistake! I work for the APD, my husband is the chief, just leave now and I won't even pursue this I."

Bang Bang.

Jace laughed as he shot her son twice in the chest, Lauren screamed as her son yelled in agony. Jace proceeded to take off his mask and smile. "Remember me bitch..or am I just another black guy you enjoyed stuffing into your police car to meet your quota. Stupid bitch." Lauren rushed off the stairs while Jace merely pistol whipped the mother knocking her to the ground. He then raised his gun and shot the son twice in the skull killing him instantly.

"Dumb ass..now that was funny..little brat thought he was gonna live, I'm gonna ruin you bitch." Jace raised his gun and shot her in the right leg and the left leg then tossed his gun aside. Lauren yelled in pain as Jace picked her by her head and tossed her across the house and through the window of her backyard triggering her alarm.

"Now that was dope." Jace leapt forward the super leap carrying him through the shattered window and landing on the patio ground with a crack. Lauren was bleeding from both legs, and dealing with shattered glass. Jace heard a barking and saw the family dog rushing over to them but luckily it was on a leash. "Oh don't worry I like dogs, alot more then i like pigs." He said refering to the cop as he walked over to Lauren scooping her up and bashing her head into the patio table leaving glass in her head as she was bleeding and in pain. The Alarm was blaring in the back-ground but Jace didn't care.

The next thing he heard was a gun shot whizz past his ear." Step away from my wife! I WILL BLOW YOUR FUCKING BRAINS OUT! STEP AWAY FROM MY WIFE." Jace looked up to see her husband, he'd arrived at his usual time, and probably heard the commotion in the house. With the alarm blaring it wouldn't be long before the police were there.

Jace responded to the husband's threats by slamming the wife into the table again. Bullet after bullet hit him but bounced off, Jace could only laugh as he left the bleeding wife on the table and rushed over to her hus band body slamming him into a nearby face no doubt breaking several bones. Jace walked over to him and literally ripped him in half tossing both halves on the grass, the wife screaming in disbelief and aboslute horror.

"Now that was nice, good to stretch my muscles." He walked back over to the wife, lifting her up, and taking out his knife before stabbing her about thirty times and blood was splattered over him. "Ahh...that was euphoric. "He could hear sirens blaring as cops were pulling up and he made his way into the house going to retireve his discarded mask next to the dead son.

"COME OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW!!!!" Jace laughed as he picked up his gun, and kicked the door down to see three police cruisers. Police Officers emerged from the cars shooting but Jace walked through the stream of bullets nearing the cops and shooting at their necks, and heads. He managed to gun down five of the six cops, before grabbing the sixth cop and kneeing him in the skull shattering it. As a fourth police cruiser pulled up Jace picked up one of the cruiers and tossed it at the approaching car causing it to flip over and into a nearby house.

"Hmmm fun."Jace tore open the trunk of another cruiser, taking out a police shot gun, and saw one of Lauren's neighbors one of her friends running outside to examine the commotion and he shot her straight in the chest. "Boom! More Points" More sirens were coming, with all these dead cops the streets would soon be littered with law enforcement. He'd had his fun, Lauren and her family were dead, he even managed to kill some cops and the neighbor.

"Looks like I've already got five stars." Jace tossed the shot gun aside and started running before making a super leap to evacuate the premises of the neighborhood. Upon landing he was running again and making another leap.. ripping off his blood splattered shirt, and mask tossing them as he landed again this time near his car." Adios..bitch." He made one final remark about Lauren and rushed over to his parked black and red mustang, using his keys to pop open the trunk, he took off his jeans tossing them in the car put on some gym shorts, and tossed on a t shirt then slammed the trunk down. He rushed into the front-seat of his car, and then pulled out and sped off filled with adrenaline, cannabis, hard liquor, and satisfied vengeance.

Lucy

Lucy had been staying at Kieran's place the last two days, keeping on the down low. She had hung out with the others during that time and could probably say she trusted Sebastian, Luke and Kieran. However, as most people would, she got tired of hiding. She had taken an uber back to her apartment to collect a few things today. After being dropped off at the edge of the building, she let out a sigh of relief. It felt a bit more normal to be here again. The last 48 hours had felt so strange and unreal. She couldn't even bring herself to answer the numerous calls from friends and parents. She stood there, taking it all in for a moment before realizing she had to get in and out fast. Hastily, she made her way inside and up the stairs to her room.

With fumbling hands, she opened the key to her apartment and rushed in. It was a bit on the messy side from when she had just left it, with some dishes still in the sink. She had been so flustered that morning with everything going on but it was sad how little she had known what she had been in for in the hours afterward. Once she made her way into her bedroom, she started grabbing clothes and throwing it in one of her suitcases. She picked up things she needed and gathered what she could before rushing back out with two, overstuffed suitcases and down to the parking garage to pick up her car. After quickly tossing everything in the back seat, she got inside. She wasn't sure where she wanted to go but she wasn't so sure she wanted to keep crashing at Kieran's place. It wasn't really fair to him. Maybe she just needed a quiet place to figure this all out. Perhaps the park would do.

However, it was on her way there that she saw a bunch of bodies scattered in front of a house. Not to mention there was a cruiser that had crashed into a house. She stopped driving to get out and stared in shock, covering her mouth. "Oh my God..." She came over and knelt to check the pulses of each of the policemen. They were all dead. Tears burned in her eyes. Who could do something so horrible? The sound of a barking dog made her look up and stare at house. She inhaled shakingly as she realized there was two parts of a man on the grass. He had been... ripped in half. "Oh God what the fuck..."She got up and opened the door to the house. The scene inside was just as bad. Someone had killed everyone in this house except for the dog, who was stuck on a leash and whining.

"Hey sweetheart."Lucy whispered, scratching the dog behind it's ears. "Poor thing... It's going to be okay... Come with me."
The sound of police sirens rang in the distance and she looked over her shoulder with panic. "Come on sweetie."She began undoing his leash and leading him to the car. It was rather young golden retriever. She wasn't going to just abandon him here. Once back in her car with the dog in the seat next to her, she began to drive away. He laid his head on the seat, whimpering every so often.

It was clear this was someone else with powers doing this. How anyone could abuse their powers to hurt innocent people was beyond Lucy's imagination. It made her so mad she was clutching the steering wheel so hard her fists were turning red and she was shaking. Tears were still spilling from her eyes. She vowed to help stop whoever did this.

The last few weeks had been a real shitshow. Grace supposed she shouldn't be surprised, since she was probably the only one with the big picture. People all over the world were gaining special abilities, and predictably were using them to indulge their baser instincts. Crime was at an all time high, since the police were mostly powerless to stop the new criminals, and violent crimes, especially murders, were becoming the new favored method of dealing with your problems. Really, all this didn't especially bother Grace. She was safe in her anonymity, and nobody could trace her connections no matter what. She had been the best in her field before the storms, but now she was unbeatable period.

That said, when this had passed her feed, it had become instantly personal. She had liked Officer Lauren and her family. She had done enough consultancy work for her that they were practically friends, and now she was dead.

"Dispatch? This is Alacrity. Suspect has left the scene behind. Do not pursue, do not engage. Your people can't handle this one. I'm sending in a specialist." Grace spoke into her microphone, then shut off the connection before the inevitable argument. She hated working with the uninitiated.

Specialist was a bit of an overstatement to be honest. She wasn't even sure her 'contact' would help, but she hoped. She was beginning to feel something close to actual rage. Still, her image software had returned a match, and now showed her a black and red sports car speeding down the highway, going 35 over the speed limit. After a few minutes, she managed to snag a plate and match it to a VIN number. Unless he dumped the car, she could find this guy anywhere he drove. Now all she had to do was prepare.

Somewhere, a very specific ringtone played from a very specific phone, which now showed a very specific caller ID.

"LucyAnswer ThePhone"

---

Miles away, somewhere in the middle of the city, a nearly empty cafe sat with the lights off. In the back room, a lone occupant sat in the dark, a half empty bottle of whisky in one hand and a TV remote held loosely in the other. The cafe had been closed for days, and he was losing money, but he couldn't quite bring himself to open up. Not when the place only reminded him that he'd lost a friend. The flashing news program on the television was playing some chase scene. The world seemed to be going to hell. On a whim, Chris flipped the volume up until he could hear the report.

"-in. Another violent murder continues the string of recent crime in Atlanta. Police Chief Phillip Cohen and his family were shot and killed after a break in at their own home. After a shootout with the police responders, the suspect escaped and is still at large. Investigators believe one Jace Williams to be responsible for most, if not all of the crimes-"

The television was suddenly drowned out by the sound of shattering glass as the bottle in Chris's hand broke into tiny shards and fell to the ground. A half second later, the TV remote found itself embedded into the screen of it's parent device, and Christoph found himself halfway across the cafe floor on his way out. In his sudden rage and purpose, his didn't even register that his hand, while wet, was entirely unharmed.

Jace Williams - Atlanta, Georgia - The End

Jace wanted all of this to end, he wanted to get through with this whole situation. He was ready to head back to his place and relax. He was changing the radio from station to station when he heard something disturbing on the radio himself, and not his Savage Streets mixtape. Ah hell I've got 5-0 on me, fuck..

Although there is no concrete evidence connecting Jace Williams to the crimes, there is heavy suspicion that he's involved in way or another to the murders. His brother Devon Williams was arrested and given a ten year sentence for marijuana, heroin & cocaine possession, trafficking, and distribution. It's noted by the authorities that Jace Williams has a warrant out for his arrest for probation violation, although it's not known if he's particularly dangerous but that could all change if these rumors are confirmed true, anyone with information should contact the Atlanta Police Department immediately.

"Fuck 12, I gotta dodge them." Jace was determined not to go to jail like his brother, and swerved into his parking deck struggling to drunkely park his car. Getting out and locking his door he went up to his apartment, luckily he was alone just like he wanted, and plopped down on his bed and fell asleep. He was woken up in a sweat having had a nightmare about going to Hell, and being tormented for his sins. He brushed some sweat off his brow, and reached for a half full bottle of water on his dresser." Fuck.."He chugged down the contents of the bottle and tossed it into the trash bin.

"Fuck..this shit gotta stop." Jace shuddered as he got up for the past few days he'd been having more and more nightmares of a violent nature, some about Hell, some of him being tormented, others of his family being killed, he couldn't stand them and he was starting to wonder if maybe his vengeance fueled rampage wasn't the best way to go about getting back at people who he perceived as doing him wrong. "Maybe I'm in the wrong..all this shit I'm doing..I mean.."Jace stopped and shook his head. This wasn't right, these people had ruined his life. His brother was locked in a cell just for doing what he had to survive, they'd came up from poverty they didn't have a choice. He was determined to push any thoughts of regret, or remorse out of his head. The way he saw it the police, probation officers, and courts didn't feel any sympathy when they destroyed another black family that never had a chance of success outside of illicit means.

Elliot Burrows - Atlanta, Georgia - No Hope

Elliot's life had reached it's end. The Floodgates of Hell were open, and as far as he was concerned damnation was around the corner. That's how it felt to have a criminal record for something that wasn't truly his fault, to be stuck working a dead end job at Dunkin Donuts, and living with his abusive manager Carrie. That was until two weeks and five days ago, when it happened and he wasn't referring to the Storm.

He'd always hoped he'd get super powers ever since he was a kid, but had given up on that and instead depended on alcohol. He had a chance to finally change things up in his life, and would have a fun time doing that. He had been toying aroudn with what he could do, and as a result had been skipping work for the past two weeks, and avoiding Carrie.

Today he couldn't be as lucky he was drinking a beer when she stormed in." There you are! Fucking ungrateful piece of shit! I give you a job, I give you a home,. you think your gonna live for free? Your dick ain't worth that! So either your gonna clock in today or your gonna get fired."

"How about you go fuck yoursself, you stupid bitch! I hate you, I hate this apartment, and I hate the fact that all you've done is take advantange of me you stupid bitch!!!!" Elliot yelled tapping into a rage he didn't know he had. IT wasn't just this confrontation it was the years of abuse he endured from her, his family, his classmates.

"You little ungrateful piece of shit." Carrie waddled over to him to attack only for Elliot to briefly glow and suddenly vanish. Carrie looked around in shock and then she felt as if she was trapped. She could see out of her own eyes, hear out of her ears, but she wasn't in control of her own body." What the fuck..."

"Oh damn..now this is fun I had to made sure I got this down before I hijacked your body, don't worry bitch your still here, It's just I'm running the show now this should be fun." Elliot laughed now in control of Carrie's body literally, he went to her room and went to grab her gun. What the hell is going?!! Fuck Elliot did you lace me with something? What's going on, how the fuck?!

Elliot in Carrie's body went into her car, got in the drivers seat, and pulled off heading to the Dunkin Donuts they worked at. As she walked in her employees seemed disappointing they didn't like her, but they didn't like Elliot even more. "Hey Guys I just wanted to let you know something, you can all take the day off...no more need to work..today ok?"

"W..what" One of the workers who was absorbed into his phone raised his eyes to meet hers." Forreal, shit fuck yeah I m-"He was cut off as a bullet hit him in the chest and he stumbled back to the ground. Elliot raised her hand and shot antoher employee behind the coutner and started laughing.

"You stupid little shits are gonna die!" The other employees began to panic, and some of the people in the donut shop ran for their life, Elliot didn't care about them and laughed as he went behind the counter shooting up the employees, killing all six employees on the clock. He laughed and suddenly Carrie yelled in pain as police were pulling up. Carrie fell to her knees gun in hand confused, as Elliot had left her body and was now outside in the parking lot as police burst in guns blazing to arrest Carrie for the murder of six of her employees. Elliot just smiled watching the horrific scene unfold, and began walking away whistling. He wished he'd parked Carrie's car away from the Dunkin Donuts but he didn't want to deal with the police and her vehicle wasn't good anymore especially since she pulled up to the store in it before she killed six people.

Good thing Carrie stole my money to help pay the rent for the next three months, it's gonna be good to be solo dolo, all the video games I want. Elliot chuckled as he headed back towards the apartment, usually he'd take a uber or something but right now he was basking in the sunshine. He'd killed six of his annoying co-workers, and gotten Carrie set up to get arrested for shooting up a store pretty much ending her life it was a good day, no a great day.

Jane Donovan - Atlanta Georgia, - Evil is Fun

The past two weeks, and five days had been a learning experience for Jane. She'd come to Atlanta seeking freedom, a new future away from her old past. Her past was tattered and decimated, she wanted to rebuild. However she wasn't seeking peace, she was seeking inebriation to shield her mind from everything that was going on. Marijuana, Xanax, Percocet, whatever she could get her hands sobriety was her enemy, and she hoped to get rid of it at all costs.

She did whatever it took to fuel her addiction, to keep the party going. Although at this point and with the rate of her usage it was hardly for any party whatever. Still she'd always hoped to avoid her mother's drugs of choices, the ones that turned Ellen Donovan into a demon alcohol, and cocaine. Although those drugs seemed so perverse, so entertaining, so liberating, and after all why did it matter if she did the same things as her mother? Sure he hated her and wanted revenge for fucking up her life but she had long since relinquished any idea of being a saint.

She enjoyed watching movies and shows where the villains won, she was always reading the personal biographies of the world's most evil people, and read up on ancient times where things where much more gruesome giddy with excitement. She had always excelled in her academics, but she'd been caught up in the college life style. Unlimited food thanks to her meal plan, plenty of drugs to obtain from free for boys who wanted to obtain sexual favors, and plenty of handsome guys she didn't mind providing favors too. Hedonism was the only word she could use to describe her freshmen experience and she reveled in every minute of it.

Still what happened to her after the storm was better then anything that had ever happened to her including drugs. Of course when she had first manifeted her power she thoght many things a side effect of the drugs, or perhaps she was finally loosing her sanity. But she'd began to learn about what she could do, and now with the news reports of others with powers it was making more and more sense every day. This was very interesting and she had big plans on what to do.

She walked over to her dresser and examined a joint she'd rolled. Using her power she focused causing the joint to get even larger, and she smiled." Wonderful." Jane laughed to herself as she picked up a lighter to spark the joint. Taking a few long drags she relaxed, there was so much she was learning about her power, and it was much more interesting then school. Really she didn't even like the structured curriculum of her classes, and now thanks to her abilities she could do whatever she wanted.

"Ah I've always liked big fat joints." She continued smoking until she was nice and high before she stopped smoking. She walked over to her table, and opened up a small box she had. Inside where what appeared to be two toys, but upon closer insepction they weren't toys but actual human beings miniaturized. "You fucks..are gonna have to answer to me..now..first..you..I asked for an ounce, and you shorted me five grams you piece of shit.." She picked up the miniature drug dealer, and examined the girl who was whimpering in fear.

"Please...Jane...I'm sorry.." Jane tossed the woman onto the table with force causing her to scream in pain as she hit the wooden table. "Shut the fuck up YOU MESSED WITH MY DRUGS YOU LITTLE BITCH and for that your gonna pay." Jane held the now unlit joint in her other hand and smiled tossing the reduced dealer into the joint. Before she could continue to her hear her plies she lit the end of the joint she'd tossed her captive in and hit the joint literally smoking her dealer alive while finishing the joint.

"Now that added a little kick to the weed." She tossed the roach aside, and turned to pick up the miniature dude. He wasn't a drug dealer, but he'd pissed her off. He was one of her friends with benefits, and had given her something. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with a visit to the clinic, but it was the fact that he passed it out on knowingly. "Ah..you like to mess people up huh..I've got something for you."

"Fuck Jane listen"! She wasn't listening to him as she headed over to her kitchen and grinned before dropping him into the blender and turning it on laughing as he was brutally murdered and ripped to shreds. She was still laughing partially because she was high and partially because she was evil. With her power she had the perfect way of disposing of her enemies, but while that was the first aspect of her power she'd learned to handle there were plenty of other aspects she was learning how to use.

She went to turn on her radio going to 93.7 to listen to some hip hop which she quite enjoyed when she was high when she overheard the news report about the suspected cop killer Jace Williams. "Hmm now that's my type of guy. Shame he's already got the cops on his tail, it's so much more fun wreaking havoc when they don't suspect a thing." Jane chuckled as she sat down on her couch to listen to some music as a Gucci Mane song began playing, she was running low on weed she only had two grams left. I guess it's time to go "pick up" some more. She giggled, and began to text a couple dealers planning on going out to collect some more drugs and she didn't intend to pay.

Cori & Kieran
Kieran had a plan, so carefully laid out and while rough around the edges it was plan that twelve straight hours were invested into. Kieran first almost went home, and he was on the steps when he made a huge mistake. He let his curiousity get the better of him, which he never does, and went back to investigate the flashdrive. There was just....something that gnawed at him. Kieran went back to the house where the drive was stashed, and used the spy equipment and computers to decode and look at what was on the drive. What he saw.....words could barley contain what he felt. Kieran knew he needed to forget what he saw, but in the corners of his mind he already had wheels moving towards what he was going to do.

Thats what was happening now. Kieran had messaged his employer, set up the pick up, and now here he was hours early scouting his contact. This women, the albino, was definetley who he was meeting. From her out of scene appearance, to the way she held herself, it was obvious to him. Kieran wore a black suit jacket with black button up shirt with black suit pants and shoes. He had a gun hidden in the back of his pants, and the flash drive in his jacket pocket. Kieran decided he was going to wait, see how she was reacting.

Hours passed and ten seconds before the on the dot time Kieran walked over and sat on the bench. He spoke soft but loud enough so he could be heard by the women next to him.

"Did you hear about the bird? What kind of bird was it again?"

Cori remained composed once she caught sight of the man in a black suit approach. Behind her shades, her white eyebrows furrowed together: he was young, maybe college age, but tall, and his strides boasted confidence as he moved toward her. And if it wasn't for the way he carried himself, she might have paid him no mind. However, her suspicions seemed to be correct as the young man took the seat beside her, and she glanced down at her watch. He was exactly on time, and the evidence continued to prove that this kid was the contact. So she decided to put her phone away and give him the time of day.

She licked her lips, the sunglasses remaining on her nose. "A blue jay. What'd he steal?" she responded. At that point, she was only following procedure, and there may have been a hint of impatience in her response.

"The worm."

Cori nodded, satisfied at his quick response. "Right, and I'd like to get that from you," she said, though she hesitated after, raising her head to look around at the park goers. The kid was young--maybe not even the killer hired to retrieve the data, maybe just a messenger--and her guard was against those who she didn't know, walking about. Contracting through a third party was good for saving face, but you had to trust quite the line of people to keep things underwraps.

Her questions were straight forward, and it was unclear even her knowledge stood. "But, how did it go? What did you learn?"

Kieran sighed mentally. He could not believe he actually had to do it this way. A gun was easier to use, force would be more.......well he would be more passionate about. But this.............

Kieran sta up straighter and looked at the women. He barley spoke above a whisper.

"Lean in, I can't speak of this out loud. What I found will shock you and it is something I need to say now. It is vitally important."

Cori was more annoyed than suspicious, her sunglasses shifting as her nose wrinkled against the request. However, she wanted the information, she wanted the data--she could humor the contact because it meant getting out. So, she complied, leaning toward the young man, listening.

Kieran leaned forward and with a swiftness that would suprise anyone who knew him in any way shape or form, kissed the women on the lips. Kieran cupped her cheek with his right hand, letting the knockout poison on his fake lips he stole from the espionage house be absorbed into the womens lips.

Stunned, Cori was still for a moment, eyes growing wide and face starting to flush from embarressment--obvious red on her white, white skin. It was as she acted that her head suddenly felt full of air, and she shoved him away weakly as she snapped at him, "You just assulted a federal..." Her words trailed off, and she lulled, panic setting it--but it felt far away. "Wh-what did you do to me?" she gasped lightly, instinct drawing her hand to her phone in her pocket. She had to get help-- and then she was out.

Kieran held the women in his arms, as if she was feeling ill and he was embracing her. Kieran refused to look around, believeing doing so would make it clear that he was doing something suspicious. Kieran liften the women, carrying her bridal style, and rushed to a nearby car. Kieran had already scouted the vehicles in the area and broke into one so when he needed to dash he could. H eput the women into the back seat of the chevy blazer truck, the hopped into the driver seat.

Kieran took many back roads and sharp turns, making sure he was not followed by her hidden security detail. He was sure she had one. But he needed to hurry, before he realized it he only had twenty minutes before the poison would wear off. After 12 minutes he fina;;y felt cnfident about losing her tails, then parked at the house where he found the flash drive. Kieran had two minutes.

Kieran was thankful he made all the prep work in advance. Kieran was able to move her into the living room, tie her hand behind the chair he set her in, tied her feet up, then tied a rope around the under part of her chest. Kieran then hooked the flashdrive up to the computer he set up in front of the women on a table. He wnated answers and there was no way she could lie when he had hard proof.

The woman stirred, her head lulling as she slowly came to. She squinted as she blinked against the grogginess--her sunglasses were gone, she didn't know where the brief case was. And when she went to move, she couldn't. With a grunt, she tugged at the ropes binding her hands and arms, panic threatening to set in, but she knew she needed to stay calm. The contact had nabbed her, she realized, and her eyes shot up to find him toying with a computer. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" she demanded.

Kieran spoke but did not turn around.

"So here how this is going to work. What I am doing right now is accessing the flash drive that contains the files you hired me to nab. I nabbed them, and they can be yours. But first you need to answer three questions.
One, who are you? what is your name?
Two, What organization do you work for?
Three, What the hell were you people thinking? Messing with stuff like this? Did you plan this? Why I some sort of "intended target" along with everyone else?
"

Fear was slowly setting in at the accusations, prompted mostly by her recent mistakes. If she had made the mistake of sending one mole in, then it was definitely possible she only set herself up to get killed, too. She wouldn't allow herself to get comfortable with death, though, and her wrists twisted behind her back as she spoke. "What are you talking about?" Cori said, her narrowed eyes drilling daggers into the back of the man's skull. "You know I work for the CIA. So who are you working for?"

Kieran turned around and backhanded the women. His hand made a shapr popping noise as it made contact with the womens face.

"Again I will ask...What is your name? Who do you work for? Why was I chosen? Why did you do this to me?"

Cori gasped as his met her cheek, and she struggled as the pain shot through her head, her vision clouding for a moment. Unaccustomed to being on the recieving side of an interogation, she feeling surprisingly angry at the backhand. Her voice shook with that anger as she spoke agian, her wrists twisting again as she struggled to maybe loosen the ropes.
"My name is Cori Woods. I work for the CIA. And I don't know what you're talking about--I didn't handpick you."

Kieran sighed and turned around. Kieran then jumped and mid-air he spun around and kicked Cori which sent her flying backwards. Kieran walked over, picked her up chair and all, then set her supright and rolled her forward so she was looking at the computer.

"Look at the screen! Alien experiments! Freakin super friggin powers! Human testing! Look at it!"

Cori felt the air leave her chest before the pain, and she was left unable to cry out as the chair fell back. She coughed, struggling to catch her breath, the kick leaving her dazed and her hands crushed painfully under the chair. Then, suddenly, she was up again, being shoved in front of the computer screen. She could hear the man shouting at her, but the words weren't quite registering as she recovered the energy to focus again. There were multiple documents open, all about what he was talking about.

"Wh-.." she stammered, but swallowed instead, not wanting to incite more violence as she read what was in front of her. It was as she read that his words echoed again: aliens, super powers, experiments, and Coalition. She couldn't help the raspy laugh, a short gasp of disbelief. This couldn't be real. "I've never seen any of this before-- please, you have to believe me," she explained quickly.

Kieran studied Cori's face. He looked at her, then the computer then at her. She........he didnt know what to think. He knew in his heart she was telling the truth and his brain was saying the same thing. But.........he was so sure. Kieran took the moment to pace the room. If it was true she had no idea what was on the drive, then more likely the CIA had nothing to do with it. His employer, to his knowledge, was someone high up there. And here she was, innocent in all this.

Kieran walked over in front of Cori.

"Seriously? Never?"

Kieran reached down and pulled out his hidden ankle knife. He raised his knife hand up, and cut the ropes under her chest. Then he went around and cut her hands free, then went around and cut her legs free. Kieran sheathed his knife and knelt in front of Cori.

"I swear I thought for sure you were somewhat behind this. What on the file........trust me its horrible. If you want to read it you can, if you to just take it you can. But...please....forgive me."

Kieran reached up slowly and gently felt the bruises on her face.

"I thought I was being controlled. I hate that feeling of being manipulated."

As the man paced, she eyed the files, comitting as much to memory as she could. She wasn't sure how long she'd have this in front of her, and she didn't exactly trust the man at this point to let her go with it. When he stepped in front of her, she tensed, bracing herself for another attack with a steely glare-- that admittedly faltered when the knife was unsheathed. Cori swallowed and watched with wide eyes as--

As he cut the ropes. As he knealt in front of her, her instinct put her on the defensive: her hand raised to reach under her jacket-- the gun was missing from her holster, however, not that could admit she was surprised. "You were hired to get the information, why would I know anything that was on it?" she snapped.

Though as he reached up to touch her, with her hands free again, she didn't flinch or tense. She shoved his hand away, and somehow managed to refrain from punching him in the throat. "Don't! Touch me!" she said as she stood up, moving back against the chair. "You assaulted me, a federal officer! You-- you-- I don't know who the hell your employer is, but this is getting back to them." Despite the apology and sudden gentleness, she was still shaken, and she was far more interested in the data. So she not-so-gently shoved passed him, reading the files again, her hand on the flashdrive that stuck out of the computer. "If you want to make it up to me, I need you to tell me exactly who you are and exactly what you know, right now," she added, glancing back at him.

Kieran sighed, then sat softly on the edge of the table. His eyes never left Cori.

"My name is Kieran Hishamie, I am a freelance espionange agent of the highest caliber. You may know some of my work, the assassination of the previous war lord of {classified}, The theft of the english crown a few years back, and more recently my work here in the states working on dismantiling the entire smuggling operation of the North-East Mafia. I was contracted about a week ago by someone in the CIA to hunt down a rogue CIA agent and return a missing flashdrive. It contained top secret covert information. I confronted the agent at an abandoned home under construction but there was complications."

Cori paused in her reading to listen, relaxing further as he freely gave information. She didn't quite trust it, but she had yet to hear anything that sounded like a blatant lie. A realization set in, and she closed her eyes with a small sigh, watching the screen again but not quite reading. She hadn't given the information that she had her team stolen the files from Coalition, so of course Kieran would've thought these files were the CIA's. Couldn't really trust that to be recieved well, even if it did almost get my killed, she thought, wincing as she rubbed at the bruise on her face.

Kieran ruffled his hair.

"The house ended up exploding. I tracked a black market criminal to a cafe, where I obtained information off his laptop that brought me to this very house. I recovered the drive here. Thats also where I discovered the information on this drive. What I know...........apparently someone or something aka an organization has been using the CIA as a cover to conduct illegal human experiments so humans can develop super powers. They also have hidden the fact that aliens have landed, fought, and lost. They now condiuct secret experiments on alien tech."

The woman listened to the end of his tale, and she hesitated as she connected his words to the files in front of her. Cori cleared her throat, deciding against admitting to blatant theft--his end of the job was completed, anyhow. "Needless to say, this is...sensitive information, Kieran. You handled your contract--" a wince-- "thorougly. So thank you." She closed the files and ejected the flashdrive, dropping it safely into her jacket pocket. "Obviously, you'll be expected to keep this quiet for now, and trust that we'll be handling it." Her hand twitched, but she seemed to decide against a handshake with this dangerous man. Instead, she gave a curt nod.

"Now, where are my things and where are we? I need to get back."

Kieran reavhed underneath the table the computer was on and he was leaning against, and pulled out a small brown paper bag tape underneath. He set it on the table.

"All of your personal effects are here."

When Cori went to reach for her stuff though he held a hand out, not aiming to touch but to halt Cori.

"Let me ask this, you have to have a blacked out record of me. And you must be able to tell my skill level. I am sorry I hurt you but like I said I thought I was being betrayed by the CIA. When proved wrong I stopped. So let me in, let me be part of your team on this. I wanna find the guys who used me, hell I would have probably destroyed the CIA if it wasnt for your honesty. I am an invaluable asset. Besides, how many people can you trust with something like this? Let us go back to my base of operations, let me tend to your...injuries....and we can discuss what we need to do next tactically."

She scowled at his hand, and then at Kieran, new suspicion setting in. It seemed like he was telling the truth. And Cori would have been happy leaving with the documents, never to see this man again. But as she watched him with those narrowed, red eyes, and the pieces came together in her head, she found herself wondering a few things about him. Since he insisted on keeping her here, she asked, "How did the house explode...exactly?"

Kieran put his suit jacket on, and buttoned a few buttons up.

"You already know how dont you? Why even ask? Just know I didnt ask for this, and I never use "it" in crowded places. No one who doesnt have it coming has been hurt by "it""

Kieran checked his knife, then his gun, then made sure he had his wallet and phone.

""You can hate me all you want, but dont deny you need me. Who else is as motivated as me to find the people who did this, so they can reverse it?"

And just like that, the other questions she had to drill with were irrelevant. He didn't even try to hide "it" and she scowled further, irritation setting in. She was like an AP Honors kid, hyped up to present a PowerPoint she had poured hours of effort in only for the bell to ring. There was no pleasing Cori, clearly, and she slowly gathered her things as he explained his personal involvement and his goal. "You can help by escorting me back to the office, she offered, her tone sober and serious. "I can't sit on this information. It has to be reported right away."

Kieran shook his head but offered an arm, ready to leave the house, get in the car, and drive away."If you choose to report it that is on you, I did my part of my contract. But I am warning you if you do make sure you protect yourself, because whoever wanted me to think it was CIA, isnt going to like the fact you are filling out official reports and sending them up the chain."

Kieran swiped the side of his nose with his other hand. "I do nto want to see you get hurt even more after today."

"You're freelance. You don't care. You just follow where the money goes," she accused coldly. "I know what I'm doing, and I need the rest of my men behind me. You offered to help, and I told you how you can do exactly that: by taking me back, even if it's just to the park you kidnapped me from." She ignored his his arm as she walked out of the house. Had she known where they were, she would have demanded the keys herself, but nothing looked immediately familiar. And while she had futher questions--what exactly "it" was, maybe how exactly Kieran thought he could help--she figured they would be best demanded once they were in the car and he couldn't avoid them.

Kieran sighed and gently but forcibly wrapped her arm through his, and walked them to the car. He opened the door for her, while she gave him attitude and evil looks, and Kieran......felt guilty. He normally had no problem doing what he did, but normally he gets paid for it. This wasnt that. That was......just wrong. He was mad. The last time he got that mad it was over his brother........

Kieran shook those thoughts away. Not now, he thought, not now. Kieran almost closed the door but stopped.

"I may be a freelancer but I was tricked. I dont "get tricked" ok. I am perosnally involved, I wont even charge for it. Stop trying to assume me and my intentionds."

Kieran dugg out of his pocket a ring key with a few kets on it. He gently laid it on the inside of the car right in front of Cori within hand range.

"The keys to the place. I dont think it is a CIA place, but the owners arent coming back probably. I let them know who it was that stormed the place so the CIA has nothing to worry about."

Kieran closed the door, ignoring Cori's looks whatever they were, then walked around and got into the drivers seat. He started the car.

She sighed as he took his seat beside her, eyeing the keys. Hesitantly, Cori took them and dropped them into the pocket opposite to the flashdrive. At the very least, Kieron would make a useful contract. A freelancer, yes, but it was growing more obvious to her that he had personal stakes in this whole mess. So, she licked her lips and sat back, relaxing her tone and some of the attitude. "Okay. What exactly do you want Coalition to reverse?" she asked, recalling the name plastered all over the documents.

Kieran gripped the steering wheel slightly tighter. "Ok so imagine this. Matter is the building blocks of the universe. But imagine if matter was poisonous and explosive. That is what my power is. I call it Black Matter. I can construct physical manifestations of Black Matter. Problem is, its unstable and deadly. I hurt myself whenever I use it, and anything around me. Its why I try not to use it. The explosion........that was me. I knew my and the rogue were alone, and he got lucky. He had me in a corner, I would have died from dumb bad luck otherwise. One problem is......well I can feel the energy inside. It feels....awful.....always....."

Cori remained silent for a bit, absorbing the fact that Kieran just explained that he had an insane superpower. She sighed and placed her glasses on her nose before looking back out the window. "I don't understand any of that," she admitted plainly. To admit she didn't understand something was difficult for the woman, and actually not getting it was even more frustrating. "We'll figure it out, though. You won't be outted, but I'm going to need my people on this as soon as possible. This could explain all the chaos going on--all over the world--since that huge outage. I need to figure out what Coalition is..." Her voice trailed off.

"I do appreciate that you want to help. But you have to understand. I can't just... let myself trust you so easily, right? We can stay in contact, but I just can't promise some sort of partnership with you right now," she explained. As she did, she pulled her phone, checking the time and flipping through her messages.

Kieran sighed and nodded. He pulled up to the park and parked.

"I get it, I dont like it though. Here put in a number I can reach you at in my phone, and if you need me for an emergency or for a mission call me or text."

Kieran pull out his phone and handed it to Cori.

She punched her number into the phone before handing it back to the man. It would reach the cellphone she had on her. Then Cori sighed, puasing for a moment. An awkward silence hung in the air as she searched for the right words. Professional Cori was, but this matter seemed too personal and shady to be professional. And she sucked at personal. "Right. Thanks," she said stiffly before exiting the car.

Kieran nodded, sensing the awkwardness. Kieran sighed and hated it. He left the keys in the car, got out, and started wlaking away. He turned around once to look at Cori...then turned back around and walked away, heading towards his base of operations.

"LucyAnswer ThePhone"

Lucy stared at the words on her phone in confusion as she pulled into a parking lot. She glanced with distaste to find the coffee shop just down the street. She couldn't help but wonder if the place had good coffee after all. With a glance toward the dog and then back to in front of her, she finally picked up the phone. She wasn't sure what she was expecting to hear. It was evident to the caller that she had picked up but she made no noise. The park in front of her was a large grassy area with trees, picnic barbecues, a playground and a small pond. The dim sound of children's laughter reached her. It was filled to the brim with people she'd never truly be able to fit in with again. The very thought made her sink into her seat. Was she even considered a human anymore?

Kieran Hishamie

Interacted with @kidd

Kieran was tired. More than than he had been in quite some time. That last few days he had spent angry, having to focus completely on the end goal and not look at the short hand goal. He had spent days thinking he was enduring his worst fear - manipulation then death of innocents. This always takes a mental toll on him whenever this happens, and it has happened more times than he is willing to admit it. Kieran's thoughts drifted towards Cori. She was something else. She was stubborn, and annoying, and paranoid as hell. But none of it was her fault. She was a CIA women through and through. And he didnt exactly make a good first impression.

"I did kinda....kick her ass. Ugh......"

Kieran was walking home still when he heard a commotion.Normally Kieran would have ignored it but....something was forcing him to stop. It sounded like trouble, something he could handle but others cant. Kieran grunted then walke dover towards the comotion.

When Kieran turned the corner, he saw the scenario. It was a standoff of sorts. A group of five men, all wearing leather jackets and ski masks, were having a shoot off behind some cars against cops, about four cop cars worth, who were hiding behind their cars. Kieran took one look at the situation and instantly thought of twenty different ways he could end it.

Kieran chose.....a less common tactic. Kieran walked right up behind the group of criminals. He tapped one on the shoulder, with the criminal freaking out slightly. he wasnt expecting this.

""Hi you dont know me but I am warning you. Cease and desist or I will be forced to terminate you."

The responce to this was a gun aimed at his face. Kieran smacked the gun out of the criminals hand, then stepping forward grabbing the man by his neck using his entire arm. Then he slammed the man into the ground. Kieran still had his silenced gun, which he drawed as he picked up the first criminals handgun. Kieran fired off the rest of the rest in each gun, hitting each criminal in one arm and one leg. He sheathed both guns behind in his pants and then pulled out his phone. Kieran turned on the camera and took a selfie of him and the injured criminals in the backround. He sent it to Cori. As soon as the cops starting walking towards him, Kieran walked away. One cop tried to follow him but he dissapeared. Smiling. He stopped a crime, and he didnt kill everyone.

"Huh....didnt expect that......oh well time to go home."

Julia awoke to the distant sounds of sirens speeding off into the distance. It was a sound she had grown accustomed to over the past two days. She wondered briefly where they were headed, thinking back to the day before yesterday when she had been wandering the streets of Atlanta and heard gunshots ring out. She had of course ignored it, continuing down her meandering path through the city before eventually finding herself at a local bar. She didn't drink, just had a glass of water and chili cheese fries while she checked out the bartenders.

But in the two days since she had bit of a crisis of conscience, watching the news had revealed that the gunshots were a shootout at a local cafe that left a casualty. She wondered if she could have stopped it, she hadn't been shot since discovering her powers, but she had done things that should have torn her skin apart without injury and she was certainly strong and fast enough. Maybe she was obligated to help stop situations like that from happening. People got hurt, and there was at least a chance she could have stopped it. Her heart sank a little at the thought and she turned her attention to the the nightstand beside her bed. The little baggies were all but empty and she still hadn't found a new source.

Julia climbed from atop the bed and stretched her arms out above her as her hair fell all around her face. Only now realizing she was still wearing her clothes from the day before; a bright green t-shirt, white jeans, and a pair of Adidas hiking boots. Not needing rest had one major drawback, her daily rituals were all thrown out of whack now. Things that she would normally do when going to bed or getting up in the morning now seemed to have no place, and she hadn't yet come up with a resolution for that problem. Still, she had noticed now and decided to set about rectifying the situation.

A warm shower and about an hour of wrangling her hair later she picked out a new set of clothes, a grey cotton blouse, a pair of worn and greying designer blue jeans and a pair of mineral blue Air Jordan VIIs. Once dressed she turned her attention once more to the nightstand, the weed fairy had sadly not come while she was showering so she turned her attention to the motel rooms minifridge instead. Opening the door she found what she was looking for, aside from a few bottles of water it was the only thing in the fridge. A small black mug filled with a sickly green colored liquid. It was a 'tea' she had made the night before, a mixture of San Pedro, water and a whole lot of lemon juice. She pulled it off the shelf and opened the microwave perched atop the fridge. She set the mug inside and closed the door before setting the timer for 45 seconds.

About a minute later she brought the warm concoction to her lips and chugged it down in one go. She grimaced slightly as the liquid her her tongue, it was to put it bluntly bad. The lemon juice added a sourness that made it bearable, but she still tried to avoid tasting it as much as possible. After imbibing the liquid she wiped an arm across her lips and set the mug down atop the room's microwave before scanning the room one last time to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything.

Julia nodded and gave a smile to one of the motel's long term residents as she strode down the stairs to the ground level, she walked past her Jeep in the parking lot and took a moment to consider taking it, but thought better of it. Best not to start tripping and have to leave her car somewhere. Instead she chose to walk, heading for a lower class apartment complex she had noted on her way in, it was a few miles off, but that just meant she'd get to enjoy the scenery and allow the vile concoction she had imbibed earlier to take effect. She looked herself over quickly to make sure everything was right. She was going for a very specific look, a trick she had learned in Pittsburgh the year before. An easy way to find a local dealer, even if they were typically overpriced. You see there was really only one reason an upper middle-class looking white girl obviously not from the area goes to that kind of place. And in her experience eventually someone either brave or desperate for the cash would take note of her and ask the question.

Things were going well. Everyone of Alan's crew was going to be meeting up later that day where Alan would show them his powers under the pretense of explaining why he was coming back, which wasn't entirely untrue, and then get everyone up to speed on the new heist. For now though he was walking up to Madison's shitty apartment in a shitty part of town. She seemed to like it well enough and truth be told Alan didn't care enough to pester her about it, though many of his crew often told she needed to get out of such a shitty part of town. Even if the crime going on around here was mostly bellow them it was still dangerous. Alan though was okay with just using her for her talents and not going any farther. Which is why he was here. He was going to try and get a copy of any files on promising young criminals so he knew what to look out for if ever he needed a replacement or specialized recruit. Didn't hurt to be prepared.

@cunfuzzler

With him was Wash, who had been an up and coming crew member when Alan was stepping out of the business last and Tyler, who was taking up a position across the street in case things went bad, lot's of things had been going bad lately now that Alan was paying attention. On the way they passed by a woman who looked really out of place in this area and Wash, to Alan's displeasure, stopped her concerned. "Ma'am, are you okay? You look lost."

Grace waited for a bit after the phone picked up, expecting some form of greeting. When none came, she shrugged it off and plowed ahead anyway. I expected her to be more social. Actually, I suppose that was a bit creepy, what with the message and all.

"Lucy," Grace's distorted voice said from the other end of the line, "I assume that by now, you've noticed the recent string of murders happening around Atlanta. I don't usually talk to strangers, but right now you are my best chance to stop this monster. I have a name, a face, a car and previous residence. You can call down lightning and windstorms. I propose we work together to stop him."
It wasn't the best pitch, she knew, but to be fair she wasn't really a 'people person'. She usually left the talking to whoever she was paired with at the time, but with Lauren dead she had to go by the seat of her pants.

Speaking of working with people...

Grace muted her end of the phone line and reentered a chatroom she had left when the newsfeed had distracted her. "Tony I swear to god, if you fuck this up I will string you up by your toes." She had been planning this raid for weeks now, and everything was going smoothly. She wasn't about to scrap it because this kid couldn't keep himself in line.

Lucy couldn't help but wonder if she was being watched. The woman must have known she had stopped by the crime scene. She glanced at the sad dog next to her, flashes of the dead bodies and the blood-splattered walls coming to mind. Maybe it was fate she was given this ability and she was meant to stop other people from misusing theirs. For the first time in two days, she was starting to feel as if she had a purpose in the world. She gripped her cellphone tightly and finally spoke, "Okay. I'm in... I'm gonna take a wild guess that asking who you are is a waste of time so I'll just start with asking what ability does this murderer guy have?" It was pretty crazy to just trust some random person on the phone but what else could she do? She glanced out the windows of the car, trying to find where the caller might be seated but she saw no one on the phone. Maybe this person had an ability too. Was it just becoming commonplace now?

It wasn't too long before the mescaline hit, she wasn't certain at first, but she was pretty sure that an Elk in the middle of Atlanta could only be a hallucination. Julia didn't subscribe to the same level of spiritual nonsense as her parents did. But she did give it a fair bit more credence than most people did. Maybe that was why she felt compelled to follow it, maybe it'd lead where she was 'supposed' to be. About a half an hour and over two miles later she noticed she was at the very same apartment complex that had been her destination when she had left the motel earlier.

She scanned around the buildings for anything of note, her mind exploring every minute detail before she eventually found herself lost in the labyrinth of the asphalt at her feet. She wasn't really cognizant of the passage of time so she had no idea how long she was 'lost' in her own mind, but eventually she escaped and looked back up. Staring the illusory Elk in the eyes as it stared back at her for a brief moment before disappearing. Replaced with a man walking towards her. For a moment she was visibly disappointed, but she quickly realized that this was likely the reason she had initially come here coming to fruition he didn't look the usual type, but she wasn't one to judge by appearances.

@Cultural Titan

Instead though he seemed to only express concern for her, much to Julia's surprise. Her eyes widened and a shocked look took her face at his comment. She wasn't expecting that, she wasn't expecting that at all. "Aww that's so sweetta you!" Her look of shock briefly gave way to a genuinely joyous smile as she spoke. "I'm fine... Y'know, just wandering. Looking to get into some trouble as it were." She paused briefly before continuing, taking a moment to consider that maybe she was her for a reason. "How about yourself?"

Luke Braxton - Atlanta, Georgia - Welcome to the Good Life

"WHOO HOO!!!!!!" Life was getting better and better for Luke everyday. It had been about three weeks since they'd gotten their powers, and two days since he found out he wasn't the only one with powers. Now he was paying far more attention to the news and the reports about people with "supposed" superhuman powers. He wondered when the world at large would start believing in powers, it would probably take someone drastic or stupid to expose their powers.

Shit Lucy shooting motherfuckers with lightning bolts and shit, I dunno how much I really did to help her but hopefully I had some sort of impact. After learning about Lucy's explanation he did what he could to help her, although he didn't tell her. He'd stopped by her job and worked some of his jedi mind tricks on her co-workers to get them to either forget about Lucy's predictions or just think it was a weird accident, and even commanded Vivian to be nicer if she ran into Lucy again. He'd also went out to some people to mentally persuade them to go on youtube and social media and be extremely dismissive of the video which showed Lucy blasting Kieran with lightning.

Something else he was beginning to understand, these powers were like a muscle, the more he worked them the stronger they got, and the more things he was learning. He had gotten his hands on the movie Chronicle watching it twice over the past two days while being very high, read up on some fictional characters with similar powers to his such as Professor X, Jean Grey, and Martian Manhunter, and watched a couple episodes of Young Justice, and X Men cartoons.

"Listen up! You want to help represent me for free, The Craig Braxton case, you believe he was unfairly discriminated against with his sentence because of being a minority, and want to take the case back to court. Come on.." Luke had used his telepathy on a high profile lawyer to get him to take up his offer to try to get a second hearing his brother's case, and he was determined to do everything it took to try to get his brother out of jail.

Other then that getting the legal system rolling for his brother, he'd also been doing some other things mainly with his powers. He knew he could move things with his mind, but he wanted to see what extent he could. With lots of marijuana, and prescription pain killers at his disposal playing with his powers fun. He'd been pushing his powers to see about trying to move himself through the air, so far he'd managed to perform some teleknetic super jumps as he'd labeled them, shoot objects away with force as well as pull them close, and form a sort of invisible field around himself and other objects the latter of which was becoming the most difficult of his current powers to deal with.

Perhaps one of the best parts of the past two days, was spending time with his favorite weather reporter Lucy. He was a bit disdained when she'd turned him down initially, but over the last two days they'd been spending more time together even going to grab the coffee. He couldn't help but feel himself catching feelings for her which is not something he wanted to do or at least not this quickly. Maybe it was just her powers, the fact that was independent and had her own career or a mixed bag of reasons.

Just thinking about her, made him feel happy which was huge considering all the craziness going on his life right now. He'd pretty much distanced himself from campus drug dealing, and made contact with his brother's connects. He'd gotten his hands on several ounces of marijuana, and decided to start selling exclusively to other dealers. With his mind reading powers he was confident in his ability to avoid serving a snitch or an informant, and the money was far more lucrative serving only other dealers. Speaking of lucrative, the business with his super powered criminal buddy Alan had been bundles of fun. Working with him and stealing a getaway car, being forced to rely on his telekentic power instead of his mental gymnastics had helped him gain more control over that aspect of his power and proved even more why Ford was useful to his team.

Over all, things were going great. Which brought him back to the present moment, he was living in a house with some single mother who was a semi popular author and former porn-star. After hearing some suggestive..thoughts from her..and pushing a thought of his own into her head it was easy to establish this as his second home. Amber Johnson was super fun, not to mention she still had connections in the porn industry. "WHOO HOO" Luke claimed as he snorted another line of cocaine and clapped his hands then slapped one of the girls ass. Needless to say, he was having a blast smoking fat blunts, snorting coke, & drinking Bombay & Lemonade with Amber and two other porn-stars. He'd been on a sex-drug binge for the past six hours, you know..typical to get carried on cocaine. Finally after satisfing himself again he collapsed into the bed and was breathing heavilly.

"Oh my god..."

"Hehe, Mr. Braxton tired already, I would have thought a strong...black man like yourself with all that yay could keep going." Amber teased as she leaned over to kiss Luke.

"Oh come on baby, I gotta take a break, your friends are mafucking wore out, you just a sex fiend girll." Luke said teasing her looking at the two other porn stars laying in bed tired, Luke said catching his breath and leaning over to the dresser to attend to the blunt he'd been in the middle of rolling before his latest round.

"You didn't seem to mind when you first came over Lukey, but how about this, you roll this blunt, and I'll go grab you another drink." Amber got up taking an empty glass by Luke and walking off taking her cup as well. Luke turned staring at her naked ass she walked away, as he finished packing the blunt, then licked it closed and sealed it. He took his lighter to dry the blunt, then took out some cocaine, and with his credit card seperated two more lines as Amber made her way back snatching up a rolled dollar bill to snort her line, with Luke doing the same before sparking the blunt and sipping his cup.

"Ahhhh....this is great..." Luke said kicking back in the bed and Amber just giggled putting her hands through Luke's hair. As he was smoking and passing the blunt to his older experienced friend, he saw his phone buzzing again. He sighed going to look through his messages. Tamara still bothering me....I mean we're cool...but shit I need a break right now, honestly I'm fucking with Lucy..ooh..yeah I'm suppose to go out get some steak with her..shit...I can't be smelling like pussy and weed...well...i can smell like gas..hmm..Jace..man..what this stupid ass ....stop bothering me..Tamra love to go crying to her brother..fuck is JAce gonna do to me now lmao,. Luke was relaxed yet his mind was racing as he drank some more of his mixed drink, and Amber passed the blunt back to him.

"Of course it's great who wouldn't want all of this." Amber said motioning towards her body, and giggling while Luke just rolled his eyes. "I know what you mean it's been sooo long since I could just be around someone soo chill..Lukey..like your different no judgement, just wanna fuck, smoke, talk..so many people just caught up with themselves and their problems."

"Heh..I'm not Dr. Phil..trust me..I just don't mind listening to shit you know..I like knowing what people thinking." Luke said as he hit the blunt again and again before coughing and passing it back. It was weird paranoia aside he always wanted to know what people were thinking even if he valued his thoughts the most, and know he could know what everyone was thinking. He knew when people were genuine, when they were fake, or anywhere in between and he loved it. His highs had been nothing short of exception once he really began to realize the implications this power had for him.

"That's why I like you kiddo" Amber said as Luke hit the blunt again, and went to kiss her blowing smoke into her lungs, then Amber took the blunt and did the same thing resulting in both of them coughing, and Luke just laughed as his eyes were extremly red, the mixture of cannabis, cocaine, and alcohol had him feeling a perfect high, only Lucy could make him feel better both the drug and the girl, who he wanted to be his girl..damn why was she always on his mind now.

A Little later Luke was groaning as he was dealing with some harassing text messages from Jace. Bruh why you do my sister like that? We cool bruh everything us and our bros been through but come on B..the fuck..wrong witchu come on!!! Bruhh!...wow you a hoe..fucking hoe! Imma smack yo bitch ass! On Sight, I know where you stay pussy! Luke was looking at the texts and pretty upset, he was extremly high, and thanks to drinking quite a bit the cocaine high was still going strong so he was more aggressive then usual and was getting tired of Jace harassing him especially now that he was super powered. He didn't want to leave Amber's house until it was time to go hang out with Lucy, but he had to go drop off two ounces of weed to someone right next to his apartment anyway. Look bruh, you want pull up, I will beat your ass, you not gonna disrepect me, yeah I fuck with Tamara, but I'm on a break, the pussy good, but it aint everything b i got shit to focus on so sit you stupid ass down.

Luke was agitated and then he decided to text Lucy back saying they were still on for later, and he just needed to handle some business. He'd told her he quit selling drugs which was true, basically what he was doing was more akin to trafficking. Ok it wasn't exactly a whole truth, but it was whatever. Luke went to his car, his new car, he'd mind controlled some rich guy into giving him his car. He got into his car, sprayed some blunt spray, and began driving towards his apartment. Normally he wouldn't drive drunk but with all the nose candy he'd done he didn't feel particularity intoxicated, and the weed was also elevating his confidence.

He relaxed in the car as he bumped some Playboi Carti blasting in his speakers. It wasn't long before he was in the parking lot, and reached into his glove compartment to grab the two ounces he had vacumn sealed, and opened his doors as the dealer he saw got into the car and dapped Luke up and handed him 400 dollars." Aye waddup Luke mayne, was popping B."

"Not shit bruh cooling cooling here, you already know Ion finess, if you want I'll come in and scale these hoes, up to you my dude." Luke said handing him the zips and the dealer shook his head.

"Naw fam you good on ya shit, I preciate it bruh, you on the come up huh out the lil boy leagues, shit I wanna do the same but sometimes breaking down these grams just addictive bruh, not to mention the bitches. Maaaan lemme tell you I had a bad ass thotty slop me up for a mafucking 2.5 B, shits wild." Luke couldn't help but laugh and shook his head. He had enjoyed slutty women like that before but now he was moving past that.

"Man that's some shit, be safe bro." Luke said and after a little more small talk, the dealer tucked the zips on his person and walked off, and Luke put the money in his wallet, which now had $2,000 dollars it felt good to get rid of two pounds in the past two days, being able to find dealers with the most money with his head was making business boom.
.......................
"Naw Tamara I'm sure Luke just playing or busy or sum. You know he be up in the trap and shit tryna make it work." Jace said attempting to laugh, Tamara, his Auntie Keisha, and his mother where the three most important women in his life. If you messed with them it didn't matter if you were his best friend of five years, or the person who helped him with everything in his life that was a line he didn't want crossed.

"Jace you don't get it, Ion get it! This ain't no petty shit, I swear, Ion care about all these fools, but Luke different, we really clicked, he was sincere like..you know the history we had...all the shit I done for him..that he done for me.. Ion get it..it's like we just been drifting..is it me..I."

"Look Tam..just get some rest, trust me I'll go see wassup I gurantee you it's not you sis, just sleep it off, I know you not tryna smoke to prove a point to Luke but you might as well spark up I dropped some off at ya spot yesterday, chill." Jace talked to his sister for a little more then hung up. He was in his kitchen getting drunk again, and stopped. His life was spiraling out of control just when he was finally getting to another level of success. He had his own spot, he'd given back to his community, thanks to his publicity from the news his music career was picking up. But now he was starting to have feelings of guilt for all the people he killed despite how they'd uprooted him and his brother's life. Killing these people had been immensely satisfying, when he sat in jail one of the few things that kept him going where sitting around imagining these people dying.

But here he was, drinking Remy Martin and Hennesey every other day on top of smoking himself stupid. The weed was alright, he didn't consider himself a stoner he was just celebrating, hell the drinks were celebratory..at least at first. But there wasn't shit to celebrate right now, and wasn't anyone here to share his success. He sighed and downed another cup, he needed to be drunk. He needed to be drunk to deal with the nightmares, he needed to be drunk to push these bubbling thoughts of guilt away, hell he needed to be drunk to be high, right now the last thing he wanted to be was to leave his mind at the mercy of Mary Jane. She had a way of tickling his innermost thoughts, and making him really think about how he really felt about what he was doing unless he was significantly sauced.

He'd been trying to get in contact with Luke who kept blowing him off, and he'd been getting aggressive in texts the more he drank but now this was ridiculous. "Fuck this shit, stupid ass motherfucker. You going come at me like this, I'm finna beat yo ass bitch!" Jace was enraged at the way Luke had came at him, but more importantly the way he talked down on his sister. Even sober this would have sent him into a rage, but this was even worst. Jace grabbed a mask, tossed it on, and made his way out of his condo.
....................
Luke was just getting back to his apartment, and plopping down on his couch. He was thinking about buying another place, the drug business was becoming more profitable now that he was moving pounds of weed rather then grams. He'd had to cut off some people from campus, some people refused to listen to him. He was considering still dealing with his most financially well off clients as long as they were spending at least 200 dollars, but even then that was more risky then just dealing with other dealers.

It was almost time for him to hang out with Lucy, and that was the highlight of his day. He was done doing cocaine for the day, at least for now. He wanted to not be stimmed up when he linked up with Lucy, he didn't know how she felt about hard drugs, and honestly didn't wan tto know. As Long as he had weed, her, and money he was happy. Luke opted to smoke out of his bong rather then rolling up again, wanting some long hardy rips to his lungs.

The best part about cocaine was how powerful the rips he could take where without hurting his chest too much. "God this is awesome." Luke decided to go on his TV, and go to netflix he wanted to catch up to where he was at in the Gotham series." Man this shit is fucking raw like."

HOLY SHIT ITS ABOUT TO HIT HIS APARTMENT! Luke heard a thought that was filled with danger, and many other, and gripping his bong as if be instinct he propelled himself to the door, opening it and running out right as an SUV flew into his apartment bursting through his wall and into his neighbors wall hitting them. "What the fuck!!!?" Luke was shocked, eyes blood shot, bong in hand as he watched an SUV fly through his apartment.

Luke could hear several thoughts outside, and he wondered what the hell happened." You wanna talk shit bitch." Luke turned to see a man in his mask walking over to him, and Luke frowned then hearing some of his thoughts stepped back." Jace..what the fuck.." Luke was confused and wanted to use his power to move his bong safely to his room but didn't want to expose his power to Jace of all people. "Bruh I don't have time, a fucking SUV just flew into my apartment, tore thorugh half that shit like."

"Oh like some strong ass motherfucker fucked yo shit up? You been following the news bruh, I know yo ass do. You ain't noticed the reports of that super dude out there fucking people up, fucking up 12, remember that bitch Ebony who put the feds on me and Devon, who got ya brother caught up, how she got ripped up." Jace punched a hole in the concrete and Luke's eyes widened. "Yeah B..that's ya boy..here..that SUV that's me."

Oh hell no...this motherfucker has powers..god damn! I don't need this, if I would have known he could do some shit. "Bruh look we can talk this out, I ain't mean that shit about Tammy..I'm just going through some shit man, she been on my ass about the trap and shit man look, not to mention I'm off the yay, the drank, the gas, the.."

"I don't give a fuck if you smoked a fat ass blunt of gorilla glue dipped in PCP, and sprinkled with crack, you DO NOT talk about my sis like that, now you wanna be all apologetic cause I'm fucking Superman naw I'm finna beat yo ass all across the city. After I'm done Tamara ain't gonna wanna fuck you scrawny ass no more, Imma break that bong upside your head, you stay talking about superior, get ready for this superior ass whooping mother-fucker."

I can't even do this I can't...fight him out here.. damn it..hol up I'm tripping.. "Ebough of this bitch, I'm finna set you straight right now. Calm the fuck down, go fuck yourself"! Luke barked shooting a telepathic command at Jace who was nearing then stopped to look at Jace as if he was about to just go outside and jerk himself off in public but growled with rage, and screamed and his muscles bulged and the ground beneath him began to crack.

"YOU AIn'T GONNA TELL ME SHIT!!!!!!!" Jace charged forward, and Luke dodged him using his power to move his bong to safety, even though that shouldn't have been a priority.

Jace slammed into a wall bursting into Shannon's room. She screamed as the super strong man burst into her apartment, Jace grabbed her kitchen coutner tore part of it off and tossed it at Luke, who once again dodged it." Oh you think you can keep on running dumb ass I'mma fuck you up."

That should have worked, why the fuck didn't he..get controlled..what the fuck he was literally about to go fuck off..fuck it. Jace charged Luke and he used his power to use a blast of telekentic force to blast Jace through walls. Luke looked at his hand and shocked at the force he sent off. Jace was up and running grabbing Luke and tossing him into a wall causing Luke to scream as he hit the wall with force.

"LUKE!" Shannon yelled in the distance and Jace grabbed some rubble and tossed it at Shannon. Luke used his power to stop the rubble right before it hit her then it hit the ground and Jace raise dan eyebrow.

"Oh that's why you big and mighty, you one of them motherfuckers, but yo little pussy tricks ain't going stop me." Jace stepped forward slamming his foot on the ground causing it to cave in and Luke yelled as the floor beneath him fell. He could hear thoughts of panic beneath him, and Luke forced himself to generate a shield over the people beneath him a family of three to save their lives frmo the rubble and Jace landed among the rubble and Luke hit the rubble in pain as he'd used his shield to save the family and not himself.

"JACE what the fuck is wrong with you."

"YOU BITCH" Jace rushed towards Luke and threw him through the window and outside to his death. Luke screamed as he flew out of ohis building and summoned a shield around himself as he fell several stories and landed on a suv crushing it. People gathered around as Jace walked to the edge of the hole he created, and put on his mask then jumped out of the building and landed on the sidewalk causing a crater to appear on the ground as he landed." WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PEOPLE LOOKING AT GET THE FUCK AWAY" Jace yelled as he grabbed a parked car and threw it towards the crowd.

The car soared forward and was about to hit two little kids when Luke shot up stopping the car right before it hit the kids and lowered it to the ground." WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU! Your the crazy ass mothefucker killing all these damn people! I get it shit went left, Devon got fucked up, the judge was racist, maybe even the cop, but you leaving behind bodies of people that don't matter, your thought process is thoruhgly fucked B! You let this shit get your head."

"Don't tell me shit." Jace rushed forward and wentto hit Luke only for Luke to punch Jace and send him flying into a car. Luke looked at his fist with surprise he didn't have super strength, no. I did it...I can simulate super strength..finally..holy shit..how did..I.. People were running while some got cameras. Luke didn't want to be out in the open like this, and raised his hand.

"IF YOUR RECORDIG THIS DELETE IT, IF YOUR WATCHING THIS YOU AINT SEE SHIT RUN AWAY, bunch of TERRORISTS attacking." Luke yelled using more force then he ever had in telepathy and the entire group of people around where deleting footage and running. Luke felt exhilerated at this level of power he had, only to not notice Jace had charged him like a rhino body slamming him sending him into the sky. Luke formed another shield as he flew into a nearby Popeyes that wasn't yet open.

Jace came in kicking the door open." This where it ends bitch." Jace ripped a table from the ground and threw it at Luke who sent forth a teleknetic blast shattering the table, then he blasted Jace back, and focused on himself summoning mental energy all around him and stepped forward. Jace rushed forward kicking Luke back only for Luke to punch him in the head, and they began trading super human blows tearing up the restaraunt. Jace finally kicked Luke back into the coutner tearing through it. Jace stepped forward, and Luke raised his hand screaming as he focused on Jace's mind going into his head, and then causing Jace to fall to the ground in pain as he began causing the hellish nightmares he'd been having to begin reappearing in his head in full. Luke didn't even know what he was doing or how he was able to reach into Jace's memories, but kept pushing, repeating the memories ovr and over making the hyper realistic dreams of Jace suffering in hell, seeing his family die, and other things torment him in the store, as Luke walked over to him puching him in the face then kicking him to the ground and starting to beat him down.

"CALM THE FUCK DOWN! You stupid shit, you think you superior, no I AM SUPERIOR just like always you stupid little." Just as Luke went for the last punch to bring Jace down he screamed and he felt a surge of power, and Luke felt weaker as his punch was intercepted.

"You ain't superior to shit." Jace screamed as he pulled Luke to the ground then raised his leg and kicked Luke in the head causing him to to scream, then he punched Luke and flipped him over smacking him in the face then getting up and starting to violently kick Luke repeatly in the skull and body as Luke screamed feeling himself get weaker as Jace began to beat down on him, before a blow penetrated his shield and it shattered and Luke flew out the window into the parking lot. Jace stepped outside just as sirens were blaring and police cruisers were coming. Luke seemd battered and beaten as Jace went forward grabbing Luke by his neck and surprinsgly pushing him with ease causing him to fly backwards and hit the cement on his back causing a sickening noise to be heard and him to cough up blood. What the fuck one minute he was blocking my shit..then a lil push knocks this bitch aside...

"Piece of shit, 12 on the way huh, fine, I ain't going to end you just yet, I want you to know you ain't shit." Jace walked over to Luke who was struggling to stay conscious and lifted him up and Luke groaned struggling to summon power to blast Jace back but couldn't muster any and Jace slammed him into the ground again causing him to yell in pain, and Jace shook his head." Pussy." Jace walked over to the street seeing two vehicles abandoned by fleeing civilians and tossed them both at Luke's apartment the first one missing and flying through his other neighors room, then the other flying into Luke's apartment tearing through it again." Bingo." Jace grinned then super leaped away as police cruisers were piling into the area, and Luke was bleeding as he took out his phone to text Lucy struggling as he felt some of his fingers were bent.

Lucy...I think our dinner..going be cancelled...that super strong dude on the news...I know him...he just fucked up my apartment, he almost killed some people around here..I stopped him....from that at least..this guy's nuts.. I know... Luke pressed send which hurt his fingers, and he tried to text again. Stay away from this dude..he's fucking strong..no idea what his power is..I.. Luke felt more blood flowing from him and with all the drugs in his system this wasn't good for his heart. Luke's fingers hurt but he sent the incomplete message with his power passing out as an ambulance pulled up near him, and cops were scouring the area to see what happened. I hope Lucy stays safe. The last thought in Luke's head as he passed out, and paramedics rushed over to him.

Cori & Jace
The day had been a long one already, and Agent Woods was itching for a drag. In her rush, she had left her cigarettes in her office. As she briskly strode toward the building, she knew she wouldn't have time to sit down and relax for the rest of the day. On any other day, it may have soured her mood, but the last week was about to finally pay off. She had been betrayed, lost good men, and was beaten by a freelancer (who admittedly apologized and offered an alliance, but regardless) for the flashdrive in her pocket, her ticket to advance even further through the ranks. This would be the case of the decade--maybe even the century. And, of course, Cori sought to stop the violence and chaos plaguing the globe. She intended to lead US forces against superpowered humans, aliens, the mysterious Coalition. All three were a threat, and the flashdrive was her key to stopping them.

Jace was feeling a rush of power, it was crazy that Luke had powers.. He didn't exactly know what powers he had, he wasn't a big fan of the whole superhero genre. The extent of his fiction viewing was Dragon Ball Z, and he'd love to learn how to shoot a kamehameha wave today just as much as he'd wanted growing up. The fight was great, and he'd managed to keep his mask on, but now world knew there was a superhuman out there for sure thanks to his actions not that he cared. Once he murdered Judge Alton he was done his revenge spree would be satisfied at least for now. He had decided to mug someone and change clothes for..reasons. He was just walking minding his own business, and simmering down from his earlier intoxication. Whatever Luke had done to his head to get him to relieve all his dreasm in real life so intense had messed him up, and now more then ever he wondered if he was going down the right path..or was simply dancing with the devil.

Jace just needed something to get his mind off this, everything he'd been doing he wasn't a bad guy...these people were bad they needed to be punished and he had the power to punish them. Maybe he went too far with Luke, but he didn't care if it was drugs, powers or both he didn't need to do his sister like that..at least respectfully cut her off but don't make her a side fling. He just wanted to change, and he looked up to see some albino girl walking. "damn she's pretty fucking sexy, all that fighitng I need some..mhmm." Jace grinned thinking about whether he wanted to approach the girl when suddenly an armored van pulled up near Cori, and two men hoped out the window in body armor and armed, with another coming out firing a taser at her. "What the Fuck.."Jace said as they began yelling at her "RETURN THE EVIDENCE OR DIE"

When the wheels squealed to a stop beside her, it was only gut feeling that urged Cori to actually look at the van. She had done her best to be alert since leaving Kieran; her guard wasn't high enough, clearly, but she was almost prepared. Had she not been carrying the very evidence that lead them to her, her reacation would've been to fight back--but this was bigger than her. As the armored men jumped out, she turned on her heel to run, her hand grasping the gun under her jacket just as the electrode projectile's snagged onto her back. Gasping, she fell to her hands and knees, the men yelling at her. "Shit," she gasped, barely managing to turn to face them. Somehow, she found the strength to pop a shot off at the man with the taser, a little low on his face, but good enough to get him off her, at least. She was still weakened, though.

The man was knocked back by the shot, but the other soldiers reacted. Jace didn't know what was going on but Jace rushed forward intervening and grabbing one of the soldiers that came out the van and tossing him into the window of a nearby store. "Hey! What the fuck are you guys doing to her."

The two other soldiers looked at Jace and seemed uneasy then heard orders being yelled to them via their communication devices. They both opened fire, and Jace stood in-front of Cori protecting her from the bullets. Jace then rushed forward elbowing one of hte soldiers into the truck, snatching the other soldiers gun and pistol whipping him then opening fire shooting the driver of the armored truck, and the passenger. Jace realized he'd done all this without a mask on, and quickly took off one of the soldiers helmets and donned it rushing over to the woman who was tasered to help her up." Hey! Hey! Fuck are you good?!" Jace didn't bother to ask why these guys were after her, he saw that they intended to kill her.

Cori watched, awestruck, by the young man's interferance. "No--you need to run," she warned, sitting up as she regained her strength, slowly. She heard the crackle of radio static, and she gasped. She wanted to warn him again, to get away before he was killed but she wasn't quick enough. Shots were fired and she threw her arms up to protect herself and... And nothing happened. She looked up again, watching Jace fight off the men, struggling to comprehend what had happened.

Attacking her in broad daylight--they were desperate to get the flashdrive back, and it only made her more eager to open it up again. Luckily, this mysterious, bullet proof kid showed up just in the nick of time. "You're one of them," she realized as he helped her up, gaze hard on the helmet that hid his face. "I-I'm fine, thank you. I need to go," she added, her eyes flickering back to the mess he had made of the Coalition agents.

Jace wondered how this woman would react to his powers, but didn't care. He made the news but he had his mask on but she'd seen him do this stuff without a mask. Only way to remedy the situation was to kill her but he couldn't do that she hadn't done nothing to him or his family. "One of them..oh..you mean..yeah..them super motherfuckers shit you right." Jace thought she simply knew from the news but had no idea who she really was. "Go, man you just had some folks tried to smoke you in broad day light if you dont mind me asking who the fuck

"ELIMINATE THE TARGET" An armored helicopter descended from the sky, and rained down bullets causing Jace to jump off to defend Cori from the bullets, then before they could fire again he twirled around flinging the armored truck at the helicopter causing both to crash down into the streets landing in traffic no doubt taking innocent lives." FUCK!" Jace yelled but two more cars zoomed out and windows rolled down as they began to open fire. Jace grabbed Cori picking her up like nothing and ran forward ducking into a nearby ally if they continued to fight in public more people would die. Running he rushed into traffic with a car skirting in-front of him, and Jace opened the door pulling the man out and pushing him away then got in the car." Get in!" He yelled at her, figuring her pursuers weren't far behind.

If Cori had to be honest, she was almst thankful the rain of bullets interupted Jace's question. Especially since he was able to protect her, taking them without earning a scratch. It was incredible--and a little terrifying--but she wasn't given much time to ponder it. The kid picked her up and they were off, his body protecting her from more assailants. And with every attempt on her life, her resolve was hardened to survive, to get the flashdrive to the base. She pulled herself up on Jace's shoulder, peering over and outstretching her arm--two shots and two drivers spun out as they dsiappeared into an ally.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," she said to the men who was suddenly out of a car, but they need it more than he. She didn't need to be told twice, and she hopped into the car, looking back, watching for more agents. She flinched as her cell phone rang to life, and she ignored the unknown number, at least for now.

Jace didn't even know what he got himself involved in, for all he knew she was a terrorists, and he was picking a fight with the Government. Then again the Government had labeled him a criminal, and put his brother in a cage. Suddenly the radio in the car began acting up and a message was delivered.

"Jace Williams cease immediately. The woman your aiding is an enemy of the U.S Government of the highest degree. We will offer you 100,000 dollars and pardon you of all your pending legal charges if you deliver her dead or a live to the agents in pursuit repeat. The woman." Jace punched a the radio putting a hole in the car destroying it." Fuck the government." He said and he had to swerve to the left to avoid one of the cars that attempted to drive into him head on, and Jace made a sharp right nearly loosing contorl as he went fast escaping onto the back-roads only to hear police sirens in the back-ground. Jace just glared at the girl and wondered what she did as he went even faster how did these guys know where they were." Ok...fuck all this..if I'm keeping your ass alive..and turning down a 100k spill the beans..what the fuck did you do..you a fucking terrorist or something cause i swear to god I will stop the car myself and turn your ass is in if your killing people for some imaginary motherfucker in the sky or for any reason at all..and how the hell do these people keep finding us fuck!"

Cori tensed as the radio sparked to life, apparently for the kid sitting beside her. She squinted, side glancing him. Was he a criminal? Would that be surprising? she thought, recalling the ease he had in throwing the agents around, and shoving the poor man out of the car. She gasped as he punched in the radio, denouncing the very government that she worked for. As he drove, she had a hand on the dashboard and her other against the door, holding on--God forbid she escape Coalition only to die in some freak accident with superhuman. One who was not shy about demanding answers, by the way.

"I can't explain it right now! she said, wincing as she leaned against the door on a sharp turn. "But they are lying. I am not a criminal, I-- They're lying. They don't have the grounds to pardon you from whatever it is you did, and they'd probably kill you for all this." She had almost declared herself as part of the actual US government, but a glance at this kid who might be a criminal had her decide against it.

Jace hoped she gave him an honest answer otherwise he'd just turned down money for nothing, but as she spoke he had a point.

"Can't explain it were gonna fucking die, what the hell can you not explain, that's fucking retarded gahh damn" Jace was mad but it was too late, and driving drunk he almost swerved off the road again but caught himself and kept up the speed. "Right the whole U.S Government is lying makes sense I guess, and I don't need a fucking pardon, trust me I've gotten what I need.." Jace said thinking about his revenge it felt good in the moment but afterwards not so much. Just as he was thinking Jace slammed the breaks as he wasn't paying attention and the car swerved off the road tearing up the tires but stopped before they hit anything." Fuck" Jace yelled getting out the car and examing it." Fuck fuck..we gotta go this car is fucked up. Alright miss mysterious..these people whoever they are want you dead, I know a thing or too about people in uniforms wanting to kill me..thing is I stay off the radar, so what's your plan want me to just walk away, or you want to actually let the only person who can probably keep you alive..know where the fuck to take you." Jace inquired..wondering why he'd done so much to help a random girl out, well he knew why....all these labels..villain..menace..monster..he wanted to escape it.

Cori gasped and yelled out in surprise as Jace suddenly breaked and drove them off the road. He got out before her, and she took a moment to regain her breath and calm down. When she did step out of the car, she demanded, "What the hell was that? I knew I should've been the one driving--" As she ranted, she followed his example of eyeing the car, her eyes lingering on the tires with a shake of her head. Looks like the US Government was covering John Doe's insurance on his shit car.

She sighed, just calming down as Jace started at her again. He had a point: after that fiasco, she needed a bullet proof escort to the office, and she rubbed at the bridge of her nose--only then realizing she had lost her sunglasses a long time ago. She squinted against the light, then around. "I need to get the CIA's office buildling. By the park," she admitted, eyeing him for his reaction. But she didn't exactly want to hear it, so she continued, "Why are you even helping me? You are putting yourself in more danger than you would be with the cops."

"Oh alright, my bad for taking the lead, I should have waited for you to talk to the man kindly to see if he'd let two strangers borrow his car. "Jace said in response to her comment about driving thinking back to how she apologized to the guy he snatched the car from in the first place. He wished he'd just driven his mustang, but considering helicopters and armore trucks were shooting at them he was glad he didn't, this also meant something he dreaded he'd ave to catch an uber back to his car.

"CIA Office building.." Jace sighed..so it was probably flipped, whoever was trying to pay him was probably an enemy of the country, He didn't exactly like people in authority, but she was attractive and he figured with the way his life was going he'd need someone who owd him a favor high up. "I'm Jace, Jace Williams feel free to give me a bullshit name I know you feds be lying anyway so it dosen't matter." Jace sighed and leaned against a tree."Why...let's just say..lately I've done some things...things I regret...with..my powers. When I first did them I felt good about them, but afterwards I had a sour feeling. I've been having nightmares, I can't sleep, I feel guilty...people are trying to label me a monster..I guess..I just seen you was about to get clapped...and I wanted to do something, tired of people trying to say I'm something I'm not fuck I know I'm drunk I don't know why I'm telling you all this..you probably don't give a fuck anyway." Jace shrugged this drinking was starting to get to him, he needed to cut it out.

Cori watched as he got comfortable against a tree, and looked around. Admittedly, she didn't have time to sit and listen to Jace's story, but she wasn't the one with scary super strength. So she resigned herself to liste, frowning as he went on. The agent in her wanted to press him further--what he did exactly--but she also didn't want to know. She had so much on her plate already that she wasn't confident she could do anything about whatever horrors he committed. So she just slowly nodded, irritation setting in as he admitted to drinking before driving, but she only crossed her arms. "I'm sorry," she offered. "If it were up to me, you wouldn't have been a part of this. But since you are, thank you. You--you saved my life, Jace."

Jace hated rambling on when he was drunk especially to a CIA agent, but it's not like he had any heavy crimes he was hiding well besides technically being a serial killer. "Yeah well don't blame yourself, trust me this isn't for you..it's for me..for my soul..I just need a cleanse." Jace sighed. "All the odds are stacked up...I'm fucking drunk, the car was fucked up, how do we get to the CIA building?" Just as he was saying that a bullet whizzed past him and nearly hit Cori. Jace moved to push Cori to the ground as bullets began whizzing through the air as the two cars pulled up from before and Jace kicked the car he snatched into one of the approaching agents cars killing the driver and passenger upon impact. The other car sped towards Jace shooting bullets which bounced off Jace and suddenly skidded to a stop as one of the drivers got out and raised his hand drawing a weird gun and firing it at Jace he merely slapped the bullet away then grimaced in pain." Fuck...what the.."Before teh agent could shoot again Jace tossed his gun at the agents head full force knocking him out then hit the ground in pain the bullet hadn't hurt him..but it seemed like..it had some other effect it was making him sick it was..poision. "Damn it..you gotta drive..I don't know what the fuck he hit me with..but I'm not good."

Cori gasped as she was shoved to the ground, and the familiar pop of gun shots echoed about her and Jace. "I'm sick of being shot at!" she yelled into the ground, hiding her head in her arms. When Jace got up to confront Coalition, she followed suit and stood up, gun in her hand. Three out of six, she recalled mentally, her trained eyes quickly identifying the enemies. The passenger of the second car stepped out, but had a bullet a between the eyes before he could even raise his gun again. When it quieted again, Cori approached Jace--pausing to shoot the man he had knocked out. On another day, she might have spared the agent, but her life and country was in danger, so she acted unflinchingly.

It wasn't until Jace spoke that she slipped her gun away, scowling at him. "What are you talking about?" she asked, finding the strange gun. She picked up, and took Jace's arm to help him to the agents' car. "They might've used some kind of poison--since you're, well, bulletproof. That's some fast acting," she said, hint of admiration in her voice. She grunted as she pulled the passenger door to help Jace in before quickly moving to the other side to take her seat in the driver's spot, placing the gun in the glove box. "Just hang in there. Here we go."

Jace couldn't help but take note of Cori's ruthlessness. Although he didn't revel in brutal killing he still enjoyed combat and he found her..aggression highly attractive. Damn she's a fucking savage! I wonder how she is in bed Jace paused to let himself entertain these thoughts as he felt the poision spreading through him making him feel worst and worst."Fuck posion" Jace had felt so confident in his powers that he'd forgotten to realize that although he felt invincible he wasn't Superman." Fuck.." Jace leaned back in the seat as they were on the way, and decided he had an idea..the helmet he had on had some sort of communication deivice fooling around with it and it clicked on" Hello Agent..update status?! The Flashdrive is in Vehicle 5..where is the target? Where is the target." Jace groaned and tried to put on his best agent voice." The Target eluded capture, the flashdrive......" Jace paused not knowing what they were talking about but still he was gonna attempt his plan." is our posession in the vehicle..."

"Roger that..forget the target..we'll send a team to find her and kill her, our systems detect element X was fired..so I'm presuming the superhuman is down we'll send a team to grab his body as well...hurry up and get back..The CIA can't get their hands on the info in the files.." Roger that Jace was breathing heavilly his diversion plan had actually worked. "Shit..maybe I need to try acting" Jace said trying to joke before falling unconscious.

Cori tensed, her fingers gripping the wheel as the radio on Jace's helmet came to life. She glanced at him and opened her mouth to speak--but stopped, not wanting to be heard--and shook her instead. He took on a different tone and started speaking and she lightly hit the wheel in frustration. They were almost out and Jace was going to give them away with his stupid Hollywood stunt. She kept her eyes on the road, occasionally glancing at him with those sharp red eyes...And then they bought it. Cori's shoulder's relaxed and she sighed long and low, quietly. That was far too close, but it worked out--and they freely gave up orders.

Element X, two teams... Once the second team showed up to collect Jace's body, Coalition would know they were tricked. It was tight, but it gave her just the time she needed to get to base. "Jesus, don't scare me like that," she sighed, glancing over at Jace when he didn't reply. "Oh no," she whined, pressing on the gas.

"Inserting the antidote," the woman said. Jace had been out the whole time, his heartrate slowing by the minute at this point. The lab team couldn't use needles or scapels on Jace's strange skin, so he would soon be waking up with a tube down his throat, the antidote to Element X being poured directly into his body. A dosage maybe too high that would leave the poor kid feeling rather groggy, but they had to counteract the alcohol.

Cori watched from feet away, arms crossed and eyes narrowed, hoping it worked. And quickly. Her eyes dropped to the watch on her wrist and she glanced up at the ceiling.

"Uhh Uhh! UGHH!" Jace yelled with the tube down his throat,he yanked it out and was coughing. His eyes shot open, one minute he was lying to the government like always the next he felt everything going to black. But unlike when he usually fell asleep he felt a sense of peace, if he was going out at least it wasn't as a monster. At least he'd done one good deed before he was gone, but now here he was back alive again looking around in some sort of hopsital room looking at Cori and some other scientist.

"What the fuck....."Jace was trying to recall what happened then remembered the whole poision fiasco and got up with the scientist muttering among themselves in shock, not only had she saved his life but proven to the CIA that the superhuman threat was indeed real. He felt disoriented and weird. "I'm alive..I guess you saved my life...person whose name you wouldn't tell me..uh..CIA building..don't..worry..all..the Remy I drank..and whatever the hell you put me on I won't know what the fuck is happening." He noticed he still had his clothes on and frowned." Fully clothed..and here I thought you might want to check me out." Jace struggled getting off the hospital bed and focusing seemed to regain some strength somehow and shook his head the last thing he wanted to do was stick around in a govenrment building. "Stay safe..don't get murdered by whoever.." Jace said to Cori and looked confused.

"I'll escort you." Jace turned to see another agent..and he was reluctant but had no other choice and followed the other agent who took him out the building the back way and shut the door behind him." Wow..slammed door..fucking prick." Jace rolled his eyes and decided to keep going ..he tried to save a woman got involved in the middle of CIA conflict and almost died..it was definently easier being a prick.

Yesterday

Today Alan decided to be much less casual and wore a decent brown suit. Checking himself in a mirror in his bathroom he made sure that everything still fit correctly. He hadn't worn it in quite a while, but then again it had been a while since he had been out of laundry. Deciding everything was nice he jogged down the stairs to the office and called Luke.

Luke was by himself getting high as usual, he liked to stay high. He had three percocet pills in his hand which he downed with some soda a little earlier, and was starting to relax. His powers, and his vices were all he needed. Luke decided to wear some business casual attire if he was gonna be committing heists he didn't want to look the part. He was out in a field he'd found and was practicing lifting various things with his mind from heavy rocks to a struggling to lift a torn down tree just as his phone buzzed he released his mental grip of the tree and answered." Wassup Alan."

Alan wasn't terribly thrilled about Luke's manner of speaking. Perhaps the cultural difference was going to be a harder hurdle to jump than he thought. regardless it wouldn't do him anything he wanted if he dwelled on silly things like this. "We're going to go car shopping" he told his young recruit. So grab anything you need that won't get you busted in some random traffic stop and meet me at the library. I've got a particular vehicle in mind."

Truth be told Luke was done with his mental weightlifting, tv always made TK look so effortless. But it was like a mental muscle, he had to keep practicing and exercising and that wasn't exactly easy. "Shopping huh" Luke said the last part sarcastically, it reminded him of some of the people he knew that where into car theft and the funny ways they liked to label their activity. "Alright I catch your drift I won't have any bud on me, trust me I know all about not breaking two laws at the same time..it's my major." Luke left the forest and headed to his car, starting it up then driving to the library.

Alan was on the steps of the Library waiting. When Luke drove up Alan walked up to the driver's side and got luke's attention. "We're going to leave your car here" he stated matter of factly. "Ordinarily I'd take a van out of the junkyard or something and paint it up how I wanted, but that well dried up a long time ago." He paused remembering some older and slightly easier times. It didn't take too long for the cops to get the idea that they needed to monitor the junkyards for suitable getaway vans back in Alan's twenties. "But yeah if you'll come with me I'll show you what we've got." Alan straightened up and started slowly down the street.

Luke just nodded in agreement, he figured it was best to leave his car anyway. He could use his mind powers and just get a car, really just steal a car but he wanted to see Alan in action and he didn't want him to know about his mind control powers. Luke parked his car and made his way out to follow Alan. "Shit..if only it was that easy huh, shit would be smooth, so what exactly we looking it man?" Luke asked wondering what type of vehicle Alan intended to snatch.

"A van for starters" Alan vaguely explained trying to keep his voice low, but without whispering. He didn't say anything for a moment before they got to the end of the street. "And that van in particular." Alen pointed across the road to a green pest control van that read in big yellow letters arrayed around the image of a boot stomping on a mosquito 'Marty's Crushers.' "Still keeping his voice at a low conversational level Alan continued "I may admit I sorta lied when I said that I we were getting just a getaway vehicle. You see we're also stealing our way in and our disguises." He turned to smile at the younger man. "How good do you think you are at knocking people out cold?"

"A Van, hmmm I feel a kidnapping vibe more so then a heist vibe but it's all cool with me." Luke didn't care what vehicle they had as long as they could avoid getting caught up. Seeing it was a green pest van made him think back to his days of watching breaking Bad in the episode where Walter and Jesse used a pest van for a scheme although it was for drugs not robbery. "Eh… I didn't figure you were being 100..percent anyway..okay..well I can move things with my mind hmm...but I don't have X Ray vision. Are there people currently in the van, how many, I can use my powers to knock them out from a distance by bashing them against something perhaps..perhaps I can even get the wheels to move pull the van into a discreet location, then we snatch the people out, and the vans ours problem is only a matter of them before they wake up and report the shit stolen right?"

"Madison is going to take care of the police reports when they get around to calling this in" Alan explained. "She's amazing that way. That said I' a little more prepared for the here and now than you think. See this is Tyler- He's the guy who showed you to my office the other day. This is tyler's grandmother's house. We called these guys up and right now they should just be setting up in there. We had the place sound proofed ages ago so when we're in there we just knock them out and take their stuff. Simple as that." Alan handed Luke a clown mask. "Put that on right before we go in."

"Madison.." Luke didn't know who that was but figured it may have been the hacker or whoever. "Never said you were dumb you don't look like the kind of guy to just do something on impulse and I appreciate that I don't like working with people who think otherwise." Luke looked at the mask and sighed. He reluctantly put it on, drug dealing was cool but he wanted big money, he wanted to drift away from selling drugs completely."Never thought I'd dress up as the Joker, alright let's go, I'll follow your lead."

Alan lead Luke up to the door where he put his hand on the door and paused a moment. For one he needed to put his own mask on, but first he wanted to feel out the exterminators through their electrical impulses. Feeling around for a bit and judging the distances with what he knew of the house already he found all of them. "There's two of them in the kitchen on the far side of the first floor" Alan said coldly without looking back at Luke. "I can take care of them." Now he turned back to his young protege. "You will take care of the third one. He's up the stair in the bedroom. The stairs are right behind this door and the bedroom is the first door to the left on the far wall when you come up." With that Alan threw on his mask, quietly opened the door and began creeping through the house.

Luke nodded taking note of the information Alan had given him. He almost paused to think that this was too easy a task even without powers, then again it was never good to get too cocky at any time. Luke followed the directions Alan gave him, and crept up to the door listening in he pushed the door open and used his powers to zip the man's mouth shut then lifted him in the air and focused on a new skill he'd been practicing. A Blast of telekinetic force slammed into the man smacking him into the ceiling, but instead of allowing him to the floor with a thud he lowered the unconscious man down slipped off his uniform with his mind then set him on the bed. "Perfect" Luke said quietly then slid out of the bedroom.

Down the stairs Alan was coming back from further in the house with two green exterminator's outfits over his left shoulder. He had shocked his two as he entered the dining room fairly trivially. He threw a key up to luke. "Get in the van and I'll tell you where we're going.

Earlier Today

Alan was not particularly happy about this little... interruption, but he didn't let it show and just patiently waited for Wash to do his thing. "I was just walking around with my friend" Wash answered while waving his hand at Alan. Don't drag me into this kid. this is your problem. Wash stuck his hand out offering to shake. "My name's Kurt. What about you?"

Julia beamed at Kurt between her natural love of people and the trip she was currently on she was more than a bit over excited to meet Kurt. The first person I've met since coming to Atlanta! She thought as she reached out to shake his hand, forgetting to temper her strength on the shake, she squeezed a fair bit harder than any woman of her size should have been able to, even a firefighter. Her mouth went slightly agape as she realized and loosened her grip. "I'm sorry!" She blurted out unthinkingly hoping she hadn't hurt him.

Kurt's face contorted in pain and he loosened his own grip as Julia pressured his hand. Kurt had learned pretty on in his dealings with Alan the importance of a strong handshake and good eye contact for making a good first impression, but this girl seemed disproportionately strong. So much that he couldn't maintain either until she relented and apologized. Still he tried to take her apology in stride. "Oh its fine, my hand will be okay." he reaffirmed his grip, but looked around the shitty neighborhood. "I was going to tell you that this was a pretty dangerous place" he said scratching the back of his head with his other, less hurt hand. "Especially recently, but I'm much less sure that you're in danger right now."

Julia let out a stifled laugh at his comment as she returned her hand to her side. "Oh, I can usually handle myself pretty well, especially lately, but I really do appreciate the concern." she paused for a moment to collect herself it took quite a bit of focus to keep her eyes on him and not wandering off to the weird hallucinatory goings on that inhabited her peripheral vision. "The name is Julia by the way, and I doubt I could be of much use to ya, but one good turn deserves another!" She nodded towards him before continuing. "I'm not from around here, I don't know the area, I don't have much money, and I don't expect I'll be here long, but I reckon I oughtta offer should ya need any help while I'm in this neck of the woods."

Alan hadn't taken much notice of Julia's powerful handshake until she said, until recently, which really caught his attention. He hit a button on his phone still in his pocket and up on the roof across the street Tyler received a red warning. Be highly alert. He couldn't get out more than the generic message before he stepped into Kurt and Julia's conversation. "Hey, Kurt" he said with some disdain in his voice when he said Kurt. It probably wasn't a problem to break cod names at this very moment, but they were technically on the job. "Could you you run ahead and get Madison's gift for me?" Kurt turned to look at his boss at first a little dumbfounded. Alan leaned in. "I would like to speak to the young lady." Suddenly Kurt understood and rushed off into the apartment to meet Madison. "So miss" Alan began while stepping into Kurt's spot. "Define why it was exactly that you can take care of yourself recently. Answer honestly and I can make it worth your while."

Julia let out a hearty laugh at Alan's query. "Well aren't you Mister dark & foreboding!" Julia wasn't typically a woman of inhibitions, but even still she knew she wouldn't have made such a comment sober. "But you don't need to twist my arm. Not that you could." She tried to wipe the smile from her face, but just couldn't manage it, she was too damn happy. "Now, I'm not really sure about any exact date or anything." She walked to the nearest parked car as she spoke. "But I know that a month ago..." She crouched down beside the car and looked under it for a moment to make sure she grabbed ahold of the frame so as to not damage anything. "I couldn't do this." She rose once more, lifting the passenger side of the car with one arm as she did so, holding it for a few seconds before gently lowering it back down to the ground. "Now, I gotta wonder..." She spoke with a newly present confidence in her voice. "Why are you so curious?"

Alan furrowed his brow again. Super powered people sure were casual about being, well, more than human. Alan had adapted well enough to it sure, but he was quite a different cut from most of society and here this seemingly normal if intoxicated woman had also become quite used to her own powers and wasn't freaking out in a ditch somewhere. Maybe three weeks give or take was more than enough time to get over the shock and get on with life. Super strength would be useful. Also highly dangerous. Alan would need to avoid getting hit if they came to blows. At least long enough to shock her or for Tyler to shoot her. If either of those things would even do anything to this particular super. It was best not to get on her bad side in particular for now. Besides, she may become useful. "I'm curious because I also have an ability, but let's take this inside. It'll be best not to attract too much attention."

Julia found herself curious and more than a little bit excited by Mister dark and foreboding's words. She did wonder if there were others like her out there and had admittedly never really thought to hide her power, though she also hadn't had much cause to use it either. Apart from a wrecked sleep schedule, and significantly extended hiking excursions her life hadn't changed since she discovered it. She could understand though why others would want to keep it secret, especially if they were more exotic abilities than her own. Still a sliver of doubt crept into her mind at his request, but she shook it off immediately. Remembering that she was taught from a young age to embrace every opportunity no matter how strange it might be and to certainly not distrust someone without cause. Accordingly she stepped behind him ready to follow. "Alrighty then! Lead the way!"

Alan lead the super up to the third floor where Madison could be heard chewing out Kurt for something. Alan wasn't really listening. When they got to her apartment at the end of the hall he fished out a key and through open the door to see the dwarfed Madison staring down a clearly intimidated Kurt. Around them was a fairly clean apartment, especially compared to the surroundings, but in particular there was a bunch of glass shards on the floor of the kitchen left of the door. "I'm sorry pf I'm interrupting anything in here, but I need you two to calm down so I can blow your worlds open a bit"

Julia glanced around the apartment wondering what she had gotten herself into. Noting Kurt and some lady she had yet to be introduced to seemed to be at odds with one another. If she wasn't so damn curious about what seeing what this guy could do she would have been long gone. But now she was committed for better or worse, so she just smiled and waved at Kurt and the new woman.

Kurt and Madison sighed. One in relief and the other in exasperation. "What is it boss?

"I was planning on telling everyone a bit later when everyone was at the meeting, but some really strange things have been going on that have drawn me back into this life." He put his hands a distance apart as he had with Luke the other day and sent electricity across the gap between his fingers. "In particular my newfound powers." Yes this does mean that all the stories you have been hearing about super powered people is true and for the record. This lovely lady is another such super."

Julia stared in awe at the electricity arcing between the man's hands, it was probably in reality just normal electricity, but to her intoxicated mind it looked extremely pretty as it shifted colors from blue to red, to yellow and every color in between. She was so engrossed in the sight that she only picked up a vague interpretation of his words as he spoke. Only snapping back into reality as he referenced her as a fellow 'super'. She didn't like the term, but she wasn't going to contest it, instead she just spoke towards the new woman and Kurt. "Hi, I'm Julia, and I do other much less cool things!" She gestured towards the other 'super' as the reality of the situation finally set in, if he could control electricity, and she was super strong, it stood to reason that there could be any number of others out there with innumerable possible abilities.

“Alright…” Madison breathed. “That’s a lot to take in for such a little display. We’re going to have to go into detail about just what you can do later. Gonna be a whole category to file. People and their powers…” She stared off into the distance for a moment before collecting herself. Kurt for his part kept his mouth shut. “So sir” Madison continued. I get why you’d need to tell me about your new abilities, but why did you bring this woman along?”

“Well” alan started. “I was hoping that I could introduce her to some face and ask if she was interested in making a little extra money while she was in town.” He then looked at Julia as if that had actually been a question directed at her.

Julia crossed her arms and looked at the electric man who she had come to realize was something of a boss to the others. "Hun, money doesn't mean much to me, I already have all I need. That said, if you need a refrigerator moved or semi push started." She paused for a moment wondering if semis could actually be push started, she was in a unique position to find out, she made mental note try it some day. "I'll gladly do it for five bucks. I get the feeling you have something more exciting in mind though don't you? In which case let's hear it, if it sounds interesting I'll do it, but uh... This is my time off from work, so I'd prefer to not make it a job. Okay?" She pulled the paper container out of her jean pocket and ripped a paper filter from it before placing it back in her pocket.

Alan handed her a cheap phone from a pile on one of Madison’s desks. “If you’re interested. Before you leave town I may call you on this if i need someone of your talents.” He leaned in close to her. “I assure you though that it will be dangerous.” Alan allowed his voice to become much more grave. “Illegal dangerous. Are you up for that?”

Julia sighed deeply, miming the word 'dangerous' along with mocking hand gestures after she grabbed the phone. She had already quite an overconfidence when it came to 'danger' due to her job, and her newfound powers did nothing to help her take the word any more seriously. ”Ya already know I’ll answer that call, and as long as it sounds like a worthwhile experience I’ll be there. Just know this...” She paused for a moment purely in an effort to build dramatic effect. ”I won’t hurt anybody for you, or anyone for that matter. That’s about all there is to it.” Julia winked at him and smiled, realizing she didn’t wink enough in day to day life, it was fun. She then promptly turned away and exited the apartment, the trip hadn’t gotten her a new supply, but perhaps she’d found something much better… Hopefully.

Kieran and Allen

Kieran kept busy since his most recent adventures, exploring the city as much as he could. Not like a tourist though. Kieran travelled around using back alley's and not often approached streets. Kieran needed to familiarize himself with his new surroundings, figuring he was going to stay here for a bit. Coalition would expect him to move out fast, or at least he would if it was something else, and to act fast. So staying in one city, looking like he was putting down ground, was going to confuse the hell out of any spy or agency. In his search, Kieran met many different black market dealers, fences, and crooked buisness owners. Kieran thought to himself how Georgia was so fucked up. How could one city contain so much crime? Kieran thought how even though he was a free lance spy, and naturally gravitated toward the opposite side of the law, usually he would need to search a bit harder. People getting powers must have had an effect on this.

Kieran currently was home, looking through files. While he did give the drive to Cori, he knew she would never trust him. Not without cause. So no way would she ever share mission intel with him. So he made hard paper copies of everything on the drive. Kieran literally wrote everything down so it was not detected they had been copied. He had a new laptop open, screen on, with news reports and hacked police chatter bands on. Kieran stopped reading his notes as something caught his attention.

"Alright here live on the scene surrounded by wreckage at a college apartment near Georgia State Univeristy where many students are housed. It appears there have been numerous confirmations that the theory about people with superhuman abilities has been confirmed. The same reportings of the super strong masked man have been confirmed with video footage." The news cut to show Jace in a mask tossing SUV's into apartments and crowds and causing a ruckus. "He was on a rampage, a local college student Luke Braxton ended up getting into a confrontation with the masked superhuman menace. Unfortunately he took severe injuries in his attempts to try to confront the man, but luckily he's alive, and paramedics have rushed him to the hospital for immediate treatment. There have been numerous other injuries reported in the midst of the superhuman's rampage, and the police are putting together a statement about what to say, this is the first evidence that people with these sort of abilities walk among us...and I must say it's frightening..alright now to the first Officer who responded to the scene." The reporter said before cutting to a cop who was about to answer some questions.

Kieran stopped thinking for a moment, letting the news wash over him. Letting himself understand every word. Luke......Luke......Kieran suddenly had a lightbulb light up in his brain. Luke was that dealer from a few days ago. Lucy thought of him as a friend, Kieran wondered if she knew. But he was also interested in the enemy he engaged with. That seemed like someone that needed to be taken care of. Kieran pulled out his phone and called Cori. She needed to know about this. Kieran waited for her to pick up, but alas she never answered his call. Kieran left a voicemail.

"Cori listen there is trouble. A super just recently got into a huge fight in the city, and it didnt end well. I am going to investigate. Call me when you get this."

Kieran ended the call and stood up. Kieran realized he was going to do something for no money. But the truth is Kieran was barely floating now. Kieran had always had a job in someway shape or form, and going two days without recieving a contract offer was weird. Something was off. But no time to think about that now. Kieran changed into black jeans, converse shoes, and a black v-neck shirt. Then after hiding his documents and locking his laptop, Kieran headed towards the hospital.

Alan was ack at his office when he saw the news. "A local college student Luke Braxton-" was all that it needed to say before his heart sank. Not that he had any feelings towards the kid, bt he was part of the crew now and Alan did have appearances to keep up. "he fumbled for his phone for a moment and called Madison. "Yeah, honey i'm going to need you to call off the meeting tonight. make sure everyone remains ready at a moment's notice because there may be a further change of plans if things get any worse. Oh and tell Tyler and Wash to go to the hospital and wait in the parking lot. i may need backup." With that he hung up and through himself off the chair. He had a dumb kid to visit.

Kieran hotwired a car and arrived at the nearest hospital from where the fight took place. Kieran walked in, found the room number for Luke, and walked to his room When he arrived there was already a man watching Luke.

Kieran walked into the room and stood in the doorway. "How are you doing?"

Luke looked up at Kieran and frowned, he wasn't in critical condition but he was gonna feel this in his ribs for a while.

"I feel like I got hit by a train...with fists a bunch of time..that was really pissed off at me." Luke hadn't seen the news but he heard some of the nurses thoughts which were a mix of he was dumb, heroric, or a little bit of both. Luckily since his power was invisible in action no one saw him doing anything super crazy except trying to take on the hood superman. "So..you know..how I wasn't trying to piss off anyone else with powers..that plan got messed up today Kyle.."He sighed..luckily pain killers were coursing through his system keeping him from being in too much pain.

Kieran shrugged, then walked over next to him. He reached into his pocket and set a piece of paper on the desk next to him. "Listen, you ever get into that situation again call me. No excuses."

Kieran looked over at the other man in the room. "Who are you?"

Alan thought he should probably get going soon since Luke was going to be okay if nobody came to the hospital to kill him, but then a new person entered the scene, clearly aquainted withLuke already. he would have started with guessing he was a family member, but they discussed powers so openly and without regard seemingly for Alan's being there. could this kid, who didn't look any older than Luke also have powers. And if so then why the hell was every super so okay with their lot in life. "I'm Carter" he began. "Luke is a recent asociate of mine who was supposed to meet up with me and a few friends later tonight. Clearly that won't be happening. What's your relation?"

Kieran grunted and put his hands in his pockets. "Im no one worth the brain power it takes to remember. I know this guy because we have a few common allies, and they would be pissed if he died doing somethig stupid like fighting someone who is obviously stronger than him." Kieran rolled his eyes. "But you can call me Kyle. Can I guess by recent associate you mean you run in the same type of group? "

This guy either needed his anonimity or was just really full of himself. Either way alan found giving fake names in casual conversation worked a lot better than drawing uneeded attention by declaring unimportance. the common allies line caught. Alan's attention. More supers perhaps. Certainly worth trying to coax out a little later if possible. "Kid you're going to need to be a lot more specific than that" Alan said shaking his head at Kieran's final question.

"Oh my bad sorry. What I meant is do you do drug stuff? Crime stuff?" Kieran nearly laughed out loud but he held it in. This was by far his most favorite disguise, the dummy. He says a few things that he isnt suppose to but doesnt realize it, and has literally zero tact. "Yea I thought Luke was gonna get lit up tonight, but not in this way haha. Was just wondering, since he was going to meet up with ya'll."

Maybe he was just full of himself then. "What we were going to do was not necesarily any more wholesome than 'drug stuff' but I assure you I would not be caught dead stooping to that level of crime." Alan flashed the kid a knowing smile and waited the moments eagerly for a reaction. If this guy was as involved with crime as he appeared to be it would be child's play to sink him along with Alan if things went badly anyway.

Kierans eyes went wide and he crossed his arms. He bounced around a bit, acting jittery. "Oh yea yea no I mean yea man. Of course you arent." Kieran took a few steps closer to Carter and spoke, not very soft but trying and failing to speak softer. "Cause like man I am not either and if I was and you werent I wouldnt be able to tell you about a job I was trying to pull." Kieran looked back at Luke and with his face hidden from Carter he winked at Luke, trying to signal him to go along. He hoped Luke wouldnt say anything about the different, boston accent. "Lukey man, Im telling you its a huge score. If I was gonna do it, which im not, I would need someone with connections all over.

Alan chuckled. this was going different places every time this kid opened his mouth. We were back in uncertain territory where he was either drawing too much attention to himself or a loser. then again maybe he was trying to pull just the right amount of attention. "You see the funny thing is, I know you're playing me, but I'm listening. What's this huge score that you're totally not going to do?"

"Playing? But.......wait so are we talking in innuendoes or nah?"

Desicion time. Was this kid really in on something or just fooling around... "That depends kid." Alan leaned in to try and dominate the space. "How tottally not are you going to do this score, becase I assure you I am very interested in hearing what the kids these days consider a" Allen brought up his fingers to make air quotes "big score." Alan leaned out and took on a more mellow tone. "Personally I thought i had pretty much done everything worth doing."

Kieran rubbed his hands together. "OK bossman listen man I know a place, that if we can sneak in and out, we can get stuff that is worth literally millions of dollars. I mean its all basically stuff thats super valuable and no one will know better if we can sneak. But I gotta know man, think you can hook a brother up with whatever he needs?"

So this was serious. Good. Perhaps a bank wasn't really worth the effort this time now that he had powers anyway. "I know people up and down the seacoast. You tell me where it is and convince me you're serious and I can wrangle as many experienced runners as you need. And more than one super." That last part was barely true after his meeting with Julia today, but it was still not a lie.

Kieran smiled, and on the inside his brains gears were turning. If he could use this guy, he could break into.....the CIA. He had the files but he needed more. He needed access to secure things that he couldn't get as a free lancer. And he needed to talk to Cori again. "Awesome man! But I have all my notes and stuff back at my place. Do you mind if we head over there?"

"Not at all" Alan almost purred. "Not at all."

Cori Woods
Everything was about to change.

Men and women eyed her curiously as she jogged through the hall, an occasional whisper or giggle. It didn't go unnoticed, but the bitterness and jealousy of others had ceased to bother Cori. She was an excellent agent, and she was always striving to be better. Agent Woods took initiative when others hesitated, and she was comfortable taking charge. She had also learned to ignore the gossip and bitching from others, putting energy into bettering herself instead of wallowing in self pity. It was all this and more that her father greeting his pride and joy with a smile, even as she barged into the office and closed the door behind her.

"Cori, your face," he realized, the smile falling as he furrowed his brows at the woman. He looked her up and down. "Your, uh, everything. You're a mess. What happened?" He started to stand, but Cori was quick: she was at his desk, insisting he stay sitting with a gesture and shake of her head. Damon Vaughn was a large man, his hair silver and a nasty scar across his tan face. He was a walking example of experience, authority, and intimidation: he had a history and reputation as an agent who came from nothing and rose to the top. Still, his daughter had a presence that softened him. He chose a position to keep an eye on her safety, and ensure that other agents were being trained to expectations.

"I know, Sir, I know. It's that case I've been working on. I need you to take a look at this," she said quickly, clacking the flashdrive down in front of the man. Her expression had softened since arriving at the office, there was something vulnerable about it now that she shared the room with someone familiar.

He couldn't help but laugh as he took the drive to plug into his computer. "I'm your father, Cori. Call me Dad," Damon said lightly, eyes flickering about the screen as he loaded up the documents. As he did, his smile faded and his gaze hardened. Cori watched his expression: his age showed as the frown lines on his face tightened. He straightened up and leaned into his monitor. Tension hung in the air, the only sound in the office the tick of the clock and click of the mouse or keyboard as Damon investigated. Then, finally, his clear blue eyes looked to her crimson ones. "Who else knows about this?"

Cori found herself hesitating. Jace had been involved on a fluke, but she didn't believe he knew anything--he hadn't even gotten her name. But Kieran's face flashed through her mind. "No one. Just you and me," she replied coolly. "It explains the storm two and a half weeks ago. It confirms the rumors of people committing superhuman feats. Sir--Dad, I saw a man take a hail of bullets to his body without any armor and protection. He survived without a single scratch. These people are all over Earth, causing all this death and-and we need to stop it. We need to stop the superhumans and Coalition--they are willing to kill for the information we have now. I need you to put me through to the top, so I can organize a force against this national--no, this global threat."

Damon was silent, his attention refocusing on the screen. He was torn. On one hand, Cori was right and--as far as he was concerned--her initiative against the crisis meant she deserved to continue her mission. On the other, she was his only daughter. She had returned from a retrieval mission bruised and injured, and every fatherly instinct was screaming against the very idea of sending her deeper into this mess, into this danger. Why didn't she pick up the fortune left behind for her ten years ago? She could've been living a comfortable life, away from this shit storm. But, Cori was stubborn and sought to do good in the world. It was a choice she made at a young age, and looking at her now, Damon could still see that determination in her hard eyes.

Maybe this wasn't one the most difficult decision he had ever had to make, but it certainly felt like it. His Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed, his voice rough. "You're right, Agent Woods. I couldn't trust anyone else to handle this. And I'm here to advise you as you need it."

For the first time that day, a genuine smile came to Cori's face. Had the desk not been a barrier between the two of them, she might have even hugged her own father. Might have. "Thank you so much, I won't let you down," she said, voice higher with excitement. "You do your phone calls, e-mails, whatever. I'll keep gathering intel, I already have so many leads, just give me the drive back when you're done-- Just, do your thing, Sir. And thank you again!" As she spoke, she backed up toward the door, suddenly animated with anticipation and excitement.

The door closed after her and Damon sighed into the silence, a mix of dread and pride swelling as he heard Cori Woods dart down the hallway.

Cori sat down at her desk, the mugs cleared as she had requested from Raymond. She wasn't supposed to smoke in the building, but it had been one hell of a day. She had nearly died multiple times, and she needed to get to work. So, she opened the window behind her, lit a cigarette, and sat down to get to do it. First, she started with documenting her field experience--conveniently leaving the clash she had with her...contact out--and that's when she paused, remembering she had ignored a text and a call earlier. Annoyed to be interrupted in her work, she sighed as she punched in her passcode and opened the message--it was from the same number who left a new voicemail.

It was a picture message: Kieran taking a selfie, but upon opening the picture full screen, she saw men passed out--or she hoped they were passed out--on the ground behind him. She squinted against the screen, as if she might see something else. What was the point? Was there more coded into the message? Who were the men? They looked like civilians, maybe criminals. Was this some sort of threat? Scowling, she tapped, "??? Why?" and sent the short message before taking a long drag of the cigarette. Then as an after thought, she added, "I gave you this number for leads and emergencies."

It wasn't until after she sent the rude texts that she decided to actually listen to the voicemail: "Cori listen there is trouble. A super just recently got into a huge fight in the city, and it didn't end well. I am going to investigate. Call me when you get this."

Cori texted, "Oh. Just got the voicemail. Disregard those, I'm calling you."

As she placed the phone between her ear and shoulder, cigarette between her lips, her curiosity return to the computer screen. After a few clicks and a glance at her office door, she typed in his name: Kieran Hishamie. As he suggested, he was in the system, but there wasn't a lot of information. And attempts to dig further were restricted at her access level. Well, that wouldn't be an issue much longer.

Cameron

Laughter echoed the street as the young man in front of the store window broke out into laughter. There were a few televisions positioned in the window, broadcasting the news. He was dressed in expensive clothing and had a just as pricey pair of sunglasses hanging off the edge of his shirt. Cameron didn't bother covering his mouth as people stared at him with confusion written all over their faces. Some seemed a little fearful that he was insane and were hurrying their kids down the sidewalk. He turned with a haughty grin, finally composing himself.

The sun was shining and the skies had been perfectly clear as it always had been for the past few weeks. All since the new weather girl gave the wrong weather report and ended up being exactly right. It was if since then everything just was on a downward spiral from there, getting stranger and stranger. Cameron had watched the random storming outside with interest. The clear skies had taken a sudden charcoal color, darkening the world around them and leaving them all in its wrath. It had become even more interesting when the temperature reached the 80's and suddenly it snowed the next day. It was well known that global warming was a very possible thing but this was just nonsense.

Cameron had known exactly what was happening. The very same day things had started going crazy with the weather, he had found himself waking up asleep on the table in the library. Anyone who knew Cameron knew that was the last place he'd ever go to. At first, Cameron assumed he had just gotten too drunk again and couldn't remember the stupid shit he did this time. It wasn't until later when he was thinking about grabbing some pizza for dinner at Joe's Pizzeria and his body was violently thrown into the nearby pizza restaurant. He had stumbled across the floor into the counter, making the chef wildly turn around with a gasp. Cameron had stood there, panting, completely thrown for a loop as noisy italian music loudly assaulted his ears. He took a moment to gather his thoughts, his pupils dilated, before he finally gave the man a charming smile and bought a pizza.

On the way out, Cameron had considered being too drunk again but then when he started considering the possibility of popping in the back room and taking a ton of pizza boxes, it actually happened. However, it wasn't as smooth as he had imagined in it his head. He found himself stumbling into the tower of pizza boxes, the sudden heat of the kitchen overwhelming him. Cameron wasn't sure what had come over him but he was pretty sure at this point he had started thinking it was a dream. He ended up grabbing the entire tower of boxes and being thrown into his own kitchen. He dizzily staggered around until he could finally set the boxes on the kitchen table. "What the fuck..."He muttered, rubbing his head. It was so strange how the entire process would happen. All he had to do was imagine or will it and suddenly it felt like the Hulk had picked him up and viciously threw him into the place he was thinking of without any sudden noise. However, the delicious aroma of marinara sauce and cheesy goodness made him forget about it for a moment and he feasted on his pizza.

It didn't take long for Cameron to figure out it was no dream and to figure out how to take advantage of this new ability he had been gifted with. Safe to say, he had not paid for food or alcohol in the last two weeks at all. He had even managed to steal his sister a gift. Cameron was feeling pretty good about himself to say the least. He felt like he was the only person in the world who could do something this cool. Then the weather started getting all crazy and the video of some chick shooting someone with lightning came out. It was obvious there were weird things happening with multiple people.

Now Cameron knew for sure this was growing as he watched the news covering this clearly mutated man named Jace. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself again. He couldn't believe this. Things were finally going to get very interesting. For now, Cameron would take the role of the spectator but the screws in his brain were turning ever so rapidly.
