Everyone, especially @Sho Minazuki, I apologize for being so slow recently. It's not that I've disappeared I'm just not very communicative. I apologize for that as well. The main reason I've been so quiet is because the musical I'm in is happening this week and the next. Over the past two weeks my schedule has gotten tighter. Longer rehearsal times and tech stuff. Yesterday alone everyone was at the theater from 3:00 PM to 12:30 something AM. Everyone was tired, delirious, and pissed. Also, tax season has picked up speed and since my mom owns her own CPA I help out there. So, I usually only have 30 minutes to an hour to myself each day when you add in sleep and school to the mix. I will say though that once the plays actually start I should have more time to do stuff because no more rehearsals. But I digress. I don't like not being able to post. I want to be a playwright so I despise putting out post that look like they belong in a book on examples on how not to write. (^All of this junk)

Once the musical is done with though I will have tons more time to write. So, please forgive me for now? I will keep Sadie in the wings until I have more time. I'll still do my GM duties to the best of my abilities but until my schedule is clear that's all I can do for now.

I am thinking of joining but I have a question. Most likely I will pick Machop as my starter and I wanted to know how the No Guard ability will be handled. Is it just like the games, only gives gives a boost but doesn't guarantee a hit, is it situational (things like Agility and Smokescreen block it) or do you want me to pick another ability? It's just that I have had problems with this ability in other Pokemon Roleplays.

It's just that I have had problems with this ability in other Pokemon Roleplays.

In this RP, the ability No Guard is essentially the ability to stay in extreme close-quarters combat, where strikes you dish out are assured, but so are the opponent's as you maintain that distance. Furthermore it allows the direct trading of attacks, where sometimes attacks will overpower another, No Guard is pretty much assured to go blow for blow, meaning both parties will take direct hits. It's a pretty risky ability given the strategic freedom you have in this RP, but it's devastating and can end a battle very quickly if used correctly and against certain opponents.

-Are we allowed to start with fully-evolved Pokemon? Or is the middle stage or final stage in a two-stage evolution the maximum?

-How will trade evolutions and the like be handled? Do they still need to be traded, etc., or do they have set levels they evolve at now?

We're totally still accepting! I'll try and answer your questions as best as I can.
-When you start off your Pokemon starts with a Battle Experience of 3, which is roughly equivalent to Level 6. Every battle gives the Pokemon who participated 1 Battle Experience.

-Trade evolutions are handled like this. Take for example Gengar. Gastly evolves into Haunter at Battle Experience 13 or level 26. Add half of that to Battle Experience 13, now Haunter evolves into Gengar at Battle Experience 20 or Level 40.
