  • Personality: A coquettish flirt who just loves to see people squirm, although don't let that fool you into thinking she's just some airheaded bimbo. Yuina's teasing is often focused in a way that makes people do what she wants, and she doesn't seem to have any moral problems with manipulating others. She's a bit conceited and arrogant too, really, and almost bursting with confidence. Despite all this, though, she sees herself as a fundamentally good person at heart, just... A bit more pragmatic than most, rationalizing that if you want to do good you sometimes have to learn to manipulate others.
  • Abilities: As a futakuchi-onna, Yuina's hair is prehensile and can be used to manipulate and grasp objects; it can also grow to twice its usual length whilst doing so, allowing her to utilize this ability in a roughly six foot radius. Most notable, however, is the main reason for why her hair can do this: to feed the large, fanged mouth that can open up from the back of her head. This mouth is almost eternally ravenous, and can seemingly eat and digest almost anything with no ill effects, although it shows a noted preference towards meat.
  • Skills: Other than her people skills, Yuina is fairly athletic (although hardly superhumanly so) and a rather good cook. Other than that, she's a pretty quick learner and can easily pick up new things if she really feels the need to.
  • Equipment: Nothing too fancy, she mostly just carries around a pretty up-to-date smartphone.
  • Brief Backstory: Despite being born in the Imaginary District, due to her youkai nature being easier to hide than most Yuina has spent a lot of time in the outside world as well. Aside from this, well... Her life's been relatively uneventful, really. A little boring even, which frustrates her a little. It got to the point that she ended up joining the Youth Organization almost solely to alleviate her boredom.

  • Appearance: "Let's make this fun!" She has black hair, light skin, and orange eyes.
  • Personality: Makiko is a bright and cheerful girl with a boundlessly friendly attitude and a high degree of enthusiasm for everything she does. Her greatest goal for the Miura Youth Organization is to help people and defend them, and she pursues this goal with boundless determination and gusto. She also exhibits a high degree of self-confidence and faith in her abilities. Makiko wants to make friends with everyone she can and try and set an example for others with her actions. Makiko has a huge appetite, though not as large as her friend Yuina's. It's still pretty impressive, given she'll order ramen directly after eating lunch rather frequently. She cares deeply about her friends and about the Imaginary District as a whole, and will fight to defend them. However, she is deeply reluctant to kill unless absolutely necessary. Makiko can be pushed past the breaking point with enough anger and begin attempting to kill an opponent.
  • Abilities: Makiko is, technically, an onmyouji. However, her family does not focus on spellwork, instead incorporating the use of spells into swordplay. Makiko's affinity is for fire, and therefore she applies fire in a fight. Utilizing ofuda(including several built into her katana) she can produce different fiery effects, one an enormous serpentine coil cast up through an object, such as a sword, known as the Fire Dragon. Indeed, many of Makiko's spells take on a rather draconic theme. She has ofuda that buff her physically pinned on the inside of her clothing, including her school uniform. This allows her to run faster, use more strength, and take more dangerous hits. She can also dull Enryu's cutting edge magically, in order to prevent it from killing.
  • Skills: Makiko is remarkably skilled in swordplay for someone of her age, due to her family's focus on the subject. She also possesses a ridiculous ability to eat, often ordering food while hanging around in the Miura Youth Organization office. Almost Constantly. How she eats this much is something of a mystery. She's mildly athletic, but more agile then strong without the aid of her ofuda.
  • Equipment: Makiko wields Enryu, a sword of her family with ofuda used in its construction, placed inside the hilt. This hilt "bleeds" mana when active, typically colored red. The blade trails flames and can project fire and even expand itself with fire. At its highest output level, Enryu trails butterflies made of fire. This is a state she has not yet accessed. Makiko carries paper slips on her to make ofuda, and pins several inside her clothing to buff herself.
  • Brief Backstory: Makiko was born into an onmyouji family that has been dwelling in the Imaginary District ever since its inception. In fact, her father serves as the district's mayor(due to its relatively cut-off nature). As a child, she was swiftly trained in both onmyodo and in swordplay, to hone her abilities as a child of the Aoyama family. Through it all, while her training was intensive, her family treated her warmly. At only eight years old, however, she watched her father nearly die at the hands of a long-possessed man, inhabited by a formless youkai without thought or intent, simply with mindless violence and endless power. The possessed man was destroyed in the process, and in the years after her father's recovery, Makiko decided to take a stance to help keep something like this from happening again. Working with the police department, given that she was a member of the mayor's family, she devised the Miura Youth Organization only a year ago, a place for those her age to meet one another, socialize, and help keep the Imaginary District safe.

  • Appearance: Aoi has pale green hair and matching eyes, with a light skintone. She usually wears white dresses. She's under five feet in height.
  • Personality: Aoi is a sweet, sensitive girl. She's well-attuned to the feelings of others do to her fundamental nature as a Satori. The ability to read people, even restricted as it must be due to her surroundings, allows her to more easily understand the feelings of others. She's highly energetic and eats a lot of snacks(to the point of some questioning where she puts it all given her small size and slim frame), and has a deep affinity for things she finds cute or endearing. Cute children, cats, dogs, birds, even some fish fall within her area of "cuteness". Aoi is also quite friendly and sociable, especially if someone is willing to feed her. Or if they are small and cute. Of course, being smaller then Aoi likely means you're an actual child, or an immortal one, as she's quite small herself. Aoi does not like her "ears" touched by surprise, as they are highly sensitive and doing so is likely to make her jump.
  • Abilities: As a Satori, Aoi is capable of reading the minds of others. Due to living in a highly populated area, Aoi's abilities are restricted so she may avoid being overwhelmed. In order to get clear thoughts from a single person, she must touch foreheads with them. In order to read many individuals at once, she must get up to a high location where it's "clearer" and she can cast a larger range. Her maximum range is quite wide, but processing so much information at once is difficult. As such, it's ideal to have some kind of specific information in mind when doing so. As she uses her ear-like "antenna" to read thoughts, anything interfering with them will inhibit their abilities. Satori are barely stronger or faster then a human, and Aoi has no real combat abilities to speak of.
    Satori can also project images to others, but Aoi cannot do so at this time and relies on drawing what she sees if she must convey an image.
    She's a rather terrible artist.
    As a youkai, she is more difficult to kill then a human, but at the same time her durability is lower then most other youkai.
  • Skills: Aoi has a rather vast knowledge of food, especially traditional Japanese sweets. An excellent way to tempt her is the use of mochi.
  • Equipment: Aoi has no particular equipment.
  • Brief Backstory: Aoi was born in the Imaginary District, the youngest daughter of a family of Satori. Unfortunately, when she was very young, nearly her entire family seemed to vanish, both parents and her older brother. The only remaining family members were Aoi herself and her older sister, Masami. As such, from a young age, Aoi was cared for by her older sister. She became increasingly curious about her family as she grew up, but as of now there's still no indication as to what truly happened. Since then, she has decided to work with the Miura Youth Organization and the police department in any way she can utilizing her abilities, in hopes to help people and to discover what happened to her family.

  • Personality: If you wanted to pick the most glaringly obvious facet of Hoshiko, it's that she's incredibly shy and still has to occasionally be all but dragged to show up to meetings of the Youth Organisation. She's pretty quiet even with people she knows, though more than happy to talk about video games. The other glaringly obvious thing about her is that she finds her own ability terrifying and tries to avoid using it if that can possibly be avoided, let alone being made to talk about it or accidentally using it.
  • Abilities: Hoshiko has a powerful version of her family's magical trait, which, when explained in general terms to most other people, is generally interpreted as 'ESP eyes'. She actually has two of the possible effects: the ability to telekinetically affect anything that she can see and a clairvoyance that pretty much replaces regular eyesight. Unfortunately, she's one of those people whose magical traits are always active... and because of how the clairvoyance works, Hoshiko can't even blindfold herself and expect them to go away.
    The clairvoyance, for instance, allows her to see through things with concentration and potentially take in more visual information than the human eye can normally process. Mostly, it just gives her exceedingly good vision and a tendency to see people coming from behind (or actually work out what the odd shape in their pocket is). Because it's always active, it compensates for the near-blindness that she's actually unaware she has.
    The other effect, telekinesis, she actively tries to refrain from using, which is harder than it might seem when thinking about moving something in her field of view can do it, or a panicked reflex might cause more damage than she intended. Because of how much the white-haired girl tries to avoid using it, she has no idea what the limit is or if it's stronger than when she was younger. At the least, it can break a non-magical child's arms and legs when Hoshiko's trying to defend herself.
    Hailing from a mage family, she should really know how to do something magical, but she's refused to learn. Her affinity is for Motion, like a minority of her family, though given she's also got pretty good clairvoyance, the gap between that and her actual ability with any spells affected by a Perception affinity is small.
  • Skills: She's about as good at playing video games and a guitar as you might expect a somewhat shy girl to be. She can also do a little basic cooking. Oh, and she knows how to open any mechanical lock that happens to exist, not that she's the type to be a thief.
  • Equipment: Nothing much.
  • Brief Backstory: Hoshiko was actually born outside the Imaginary District, as her family has extensive dealings on both sides of the border and across the world in general. It was noted almost immediately after her birth that her variation on the family's magical trait combined a number of desirable and undesirable attributes: it wasn't going to be a late-blooming power, she was able to keep it on at all times, and she had more than one of its possible manifestations. The downside was having to suppress it until Hoshiko grew enough to control it and the evident danger posed if she turned out to be particularly strong.
    So, of course, the first time her unusual appearance attracted trouble in school, Hoshiko reacted instinctively. Completely mundane children against telekinesis of any potency had a horrifyingly one-sided and sickening outcome that raised a lot of questions about how so many limbs could break in a school of all places.
    This ended up making Hoshiko afraid of using her own abilities and reluctant about spending time with normal people and she ended up moving to the Imaginary District, where the chance of doing any damage like that was vastly lower, staying with an older cousin that works with the police and isn't around much. This has also left said cousin with little time to spend on pushing Hoshiko to attend school... or learn magic like the rest of her family. Or even go out.
    Until Makiko literally dragged her outside.





  • Name: Mori Nana
  • Age: 29
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Human (Mage)
  • Personality: Nana is a diligent and serious person at work or when out in public, striving to maintain an approachable demeanour without losing what little intimidation factor she has: she has to at least seem competent at her job rather than "small and cute mascot". Out with friends or at home in private, she's a lazy tease who seems to do nothing but take it easy, which doesn't do a lot for her ability to be a stern parent, though she can occasionally bring her professional demeanour out when trying to relax.
    Oh, and don't poke fun at her height.
  • Abilities: She also has a version of her family's magical trait, though it's a considerably milder version than Hoshiko's. It can be activated or deactivated at will and gives her telepathic abilities--reading surface thoughts primarily, though it can be used to communicate with someone else or amplified with the appropriate spells to dig around a lot deeper.
    As a fully trained mage with a Perception affinity, aside from the very basics--such as reinforcing her physical strength and durability to not be immediately squashed by youkai she has to deal with in her job. It makes her especially good at scrying or any other magic aimed at gathering information and observing a place without being present. Or improving upon senses; it's not a good idea to assume she can't see in the dark just because she's a human being...
  • Skills: Seeing as she works in a police force, Nana has a lot of martial arts practice, which is only enhanced when she actually needs to fight by being able to pick up what the other person's going to do before they even begin to do it. Or, calling on her own experience, Nana can be a straight-up brawler (especially if there's something nearby to use as a bludgeon). She's in general pretty good at her job, but not a domestic person--the average cleanliness and quality of food at her place went up when Hoshiko moved in with her.
  • Equipment: Those (actual) earrings? They're enchanted and actually improve her eyesight. Without them, she'd need some pretty thick glasses to see clearly.
  • Brief Backstory: Nana was born and raised in the Imaginary District, making her no stranger to the vast number of nonhuman entities that live in this world--or humans having to compensate for their comparative lack of natural abilities. The number of fights she picked with everything during her teenaged delinquency made that perfectly clear. Then she spent a few years after highschool studying more in the normal world, then returned to the Imaginary District and followed in her father's footsteps by joining the police force.
    Until just a year ago, her life was nothing much to write home about: she became a detective and maintained an inability to find a lasting romantic relationship. It was about that time that her family was looking for someone in the district with enough space (and willingness) to take in someone with powerful, and potentially dangerous, abilities. So Nana took Hoshiko in.
    Unfortunately, between her job keeping her busy and her own lack of parenting skills, she wasn't very good at getting Hoshiko to attend school or go outside much. It was a good thing that the mayor's daughter decided to help everyone then, wasn't it?

Appearance: She's about 5'2"...well, most of the time at least.
Personality: Tamiko is a generally pleasant and cheerful individual. It's hard to get her mad in most circumstances, but she hates seeing others in danger and won't hesitate to rush in if there's trouble. She has a fondness for tokusatsu-style heroes, having grown up watching such shows and wanting to become a hero when she grew up...although this energy was mostly put towards acting, since until recently, she didn't really know of any opportunities for teenagers with attitude and unique abilities to protect the innocent in real life.
Abilities: As a tanuki, Tamiko is able to shapeshift herself, so long as it stays within a general "human" size range, allowing her to disguise herself, boost her strength or get children's prices at the cinema. Her shapeshifting also extends to inanimate objects, allowing her to turn basically anything (of a reasonable size) into a weapon. However, it's hard to transform something large, turn something into into something complex or something moving and it's basically impossible for her to transform a magic item. Transformed items return to normal after a day.
Skills: Tamiko has put a lot of time into her acting skills, which can make seeing through her disguises pretty difficult. Through helping out in the restaurant's kitchen, Tamiko has picked up a few of her parents' recipes and is a capable cook. While she's not properly trained, Tamiko knows some very basic swordsmanship skills.
Equipment: Nothing particularly noteworthy.
Brief Backstory: Tamiko's family have lived in the Imaginary District for generations. Her parents run a small restaurant, which Tamiko helps out with from time to time. Her life has, for the most part, been fairly uneventful, she's a fairly average student who hasn't really travelled much. She used to be part of her school's drama club, where her shapeshifting abilities helped a lot with casting certain roles, as well as saving time and money when it came to props. She joined up with the Youth Organisation because it was practically a dream come true for the hero fangirl, a chance to be part of team of teenagers using unique abilities to defend the peace and protect the innocent.

  • Personality: August is naturally quiet person though he dislikes the silence his personality can cause if left alone with another person and will strike up a conversation with them if it comes to that. He is loyal and patient with others and despite being determined when it comes to reaching goals he will do all he can to avoid inconveniencing anyone else.
  • Abilities: August Lancaster is a Barghest, a monstrous shapeshifting black dog that is also historically seen as a omen of death and misfortune. As a Barghest, August has several supernatural abilities that sets him apart. His major weakness is that he has difficulty crossing running water and is totally unable to do so while transformed. Natural dogs seem to be attracted to him while cats avoid him.
    • Shapeshifting: He can transform into the form of a black dog, ranging in size from that of a family pet to a monstrous beast standing taller than a man.
    • Strength and Durability: Even in his human form August is more durable and stronger than most. In his dog form his strength is capable of turning over cars but varies with the size.
    • Invisibility: His dog form can become invisible but his movement is given away by the sound of chains.
    • Portent of Death: Rather than being the cause of death and misfortune, as is commonly believed, August can feel when an unfortunate event is soon to happen, whether by accident or design. This feeling becomes more distinct the more certain it is to occur.
  • Skills: August is an excellent card player, regardless of the game being played. This might have something to do with his feelings regarding misfortune. He is also very good at cooking, purely through his own talent.
  • Equipment: None
  • Brief Backstory: August Lancaster is a changeling, having been put into a human family in place of their own child. This was an act of mercy, rather than malice, as the original child was destined to die. His childhood was normal until his powers began to manifest, often against his will when distressed. He faced increasing difficulty while growing up outside of his own family. Being an inhuman changeling was bad enough but it is difficult to cope with being seen as an omen of death.

    August left England to escape the stigma regarding his origins. He came to Japan, reasoning that it was as far as possible from his home that he might want to live. he has already spent three years there and is happy to find somewhere he can live comfortably. He has become involved in the Miura Youyh Organization but refuses to be called an official member. August is reluctant to use the full extent of his abilities.

Name: Kotori Suzuka (琴里 涼風)

Personality
Typically laid-back and has a knack for being flippant, having some sort of disability to take things seriously. Suzuka tends to be easily bored, and puts on a disinterested attitude in even the tensest situations. She can be rather hard-edged towards her adversaries and rivals, but prefers to be fair in most matters, even in disputes and fights. She is also loyal to those she considers a friend, and is willing to lend a hand. Suzuka is fairly smart especially in matters of memory, but a dumbass when it comes to common sense.

Suzuka is fond of noodles, pasta and wine. She prefers to live on heights and in cold weather.

Abilities
Consecrating Blood - An enchanting blood courses through Suzuka's veins. With that, the Tennin possesses above-average strength, slightly enhanced healing capability, and semi-strict ownership of her items. Her items solely respond to her blood, which means Suzuka would own them most of the time, but someone can make a workaround by collecting a sample of not less than 100 ml and smear them on the desired equipment.

Suzuka's blood is also noted to be both a universal donor and recipient at the same time. Anyone that recovers from receiving her blood also seem to gain a little boost to their magical reserves for a little while, should they have one. A Tennin blood is also a vital component in some alchemies, which make her highly sought after and at risk of being hunted down.

Skills
Suzuka has a remarkable proficiency with pianos, video games and memorization. Do ask her to play Gwyn, Lord of Cinder whenever you both stumble on a piano just lying around, or ask her about the last sixty years that has passed. Though Suzuka is rather mediocre on chores, enough to prevent her apartment from turning into a decrepit mess.

Equipment
Plain "Hagoromo" - A seemingly plain black dress overlay, which is actually her hagoromo. The flight that derives from it lasts long enough to ascend her just exactly to the level of her apartment, and can glide to safe falls.

The hagoromo can be rewoven by dipping damaged parts in her blood.

Aquamarine Divinity Orb - This orb creates a field that nulls any magical effect directed to the bearer, up until it breaks from being overloaded or directly attacked. Most of the time it floats around where the presence of the blood of Suzuka is strongest, but she can willingly return it back to regular physics and hold it with ease, as it is as lightweight as aerogel but not easily blown by winds.

If shattered, the orb repairs itself in a matter of hours, and is unaffected by any attempts to repair with blood.

Seraphic Lily - A mysterious lily flower of hidden origin. The flower releases a barrage of lightly damaging danmaku projectiles when blown, but is especially dangerous at close ranges where the most hits will land.

The energy stored in it is marked by each petal, which withers as it depletes. Meditation restores each petal.

Background
As far as most people know, Suzuka has been in the Imaginary District for ten years, and likes to involve herself in local affairs and hearsay out of boredom, including with the MYO. She lives at the top floor of the highest apartment building, most probably as a testament to the historical legend that tennin prefers to live at mountain peaks. According to Suzuka herself, nearly her entire life has been fairly mundane, apart from some encounters with "poachers" seeking her blood. The items, she says, are an inheritance from people she has forgotten for quite some time now.

  • Name: Shinosaki Shiki AKA Shishi

  • Appearance:Not the most handsome lad. His voice matches his appearance, being soft and raspy.
  • Personality: Shiki is a rather soft-spoken, introverted lad. He is not the most emotive nor socially skilled kind of guy, and more than often fails to notice his gaze is perhaps a little too penetrating. Intellectual and mature, Shiki rarely speaks without thinking things three times in his head, and he tends to enjoy investigation and discovery, even though he can be unaware of bounds sometimes. For those who get past his usual unsettling demeanor, Shishi lives up to his namesake, being fiercely protective of his friends and acquaintances, and he doesn't make a distinction between humans and youkai.
  • Abilities: Shiki comes from a family of onmyouji, and as such he's versed in the art of using Ofuda for various purposes, such as exorcising, healing, summoning and barriers. He also uses the Ofuda to augment his physique when fighting. Shiki's affinity is Yin, which theoretically makes him more effective at causing negative effects than positive ones, but he loathes to admit it. This is what makes him to be able to use Youkai as Shikigami summons aswell. Currently, he has managed to successfully contract a couple of youkai under his orders. These are Yamabaka, a dimwitted but eager oni and Aohime, a very haughty Yuki-onna who styles herself as a princess (and she has the power to match) that nevertheless has a soft spot for Shiki (not that she'll ever admit it!).
  • Skills: Shiki is a dilligent student and he excells in most academic subjects. He's also rather fit and athletic, practicing swordplay regularly. While not a sword-freak, he can actually hold his own in a fight. He is also a great listener, and he can do his house chores acceptably (he excels at sewing and cleaning)...except cooking. His cooking is his strongest debuff.
  • Equipment: Shiki carries a set of tags to make his ofuda,and his clothes are also lined in several of them aswell as well as special tags for summoning on his person. The katana he carries is actually imbued in one of his strongest curses, which he calls Stigma. This curse essentially creates a spiritual, as well as a physical wound on a target. It affects incorporeal beings, and one must lift the curse before allowing the wound to heal. Fortunately, the curse can only be effective within a limited timeframe, namely minutes, because it has an absurd mana consumption, although wounds caused by the curse will persist afterwards, until each wound is purified individually.
    He also carries a pink cellphone (it was a gift from the Yukionna). Really.
  • Brief Backstory:Shiki was born as the middle child on a semi successful family of Onmyoji. Ever since he was a kid, the lad had an air of creepiness around him. Nevertheless given that his family found out his affinity early enough, this wasn't much of a difficulty during his upbringing. Except the fact he could never get to befriend anyone. Guys either tried to bully him or shied away from him. Girls just found him gross. So he found solace in the family job of punishing evil spirits. And he was a good shot at it.

    But he still had no friends. Shiki just resigned to his fate, and spent his last summer vacation travelling alone, roaming. Turns out that humans did rebuke him, but youkai did not. He was not creepy for them. And so that's how he managed to create lasting bonds, which culminated in recruiting a couple of them as shikigami after several misadventures. It was then when he heard about the Miura district, and how the Miura Youth Organization was recruiting. Perhaps there was a place in the world for the likes of him after all. And he could probably make more friends.

Personality: Carefree and relaxed, Hiraku’s always someone who’s looking for a good time, even if that good time is silly, immature, or illegal. He likes to be part of a group, enjoying the vibes of the crowd, and is a fairly present-minded person. Reading? Doing homework? Listening to music? A person that fervently believes that all alone time is a bad time, Hiraku utterly abhors solitude and quiet. He even dislikes sleeping alone, but his attempts at picking up chicks to platonically sleep together with?

Yeah, doesn’t work out too well.

A good person at heart, he’s nevertheless known as a riotous troublemaker by most, constantly showing the law his middle finger in the name of fun.
Ability: Storm-Caller and Cloud-Cleaver
Embedded beneath Hiraku’s scar is the scale of a serpent god, and it is through this ‘amulet’ that he can call forth a portion of its power. However, borrowing even a fraction of the might of such an entity requires sacrifice, either in the form of food (sugary foreign delicacies), dance (preferably fan dances), or prayer (long-winded conversations with a narcissist). These offerings must be made in advance with no exception whatsoever, making it fairly useless for actual fighting.

Which, of course, is fine with Hiraku, for he never was about serious deathmatches to begin with. No, the invocation of a diety is not to bring forth calamities upon one’s enemies, but to bring forth blessings upon the land. Once an offering is accepted, Hiraku will gain the power to influence weather, as well as flight and fabulously long hair. Utilized offensively, he can bring out gales and deluges, as well as call lightning from the heavens, but at the same time, he is unable to fully control a storm once he calls it.

Because it feels good to become a god, and it’s much too easy to lose sight of his own objectives once he fully utilizes the scraps of power he’s been given.
Skills: Hiraku’s a good dancer, but only compared to people who never spent five years learning the sport. He’s also a fast runner and an excellent sweets-maker, due to his ‘training’ as a ‘priest’. Running away from angry parents was a childhood specialty, after all, and girls (and narcissitic immortals) always like a dude who’s good at cupcakes.
Equipment: Only his roguish charm, his smartphone, and his bag of dark chocolate cookies.
Brief Backstory:
The Himura family serve as agents of the serpent, a great spiritual beast akin to a land god. Historically, they provide offerings in exchange for rain at times of drought or for the clearing of the clouds in times of floods, but in the current era, where food can be shipped from another continent within a day, the Himura family now just runs a sweet shop in the Imaginary District to appease their overbearing great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of a snake, and in exchange, the diety sticks one of its scales into each member of the Himura family.

Hiraku always thought that it was a pretty dick move, like a present that no one asked for, but at the same time, such an object was fused with his very being, and he ultimately just had to deal with it.

Also didn’t help, of course, that the Himura family tradition was for the eldest son to inherit the family business. With such a limited amount of time left before he was chained down by responsibility and duty, he made a decision early on to go wild. After all, he didn’t REALLY need an education if he was going to bake sweets for cute high school girls and a senile reptile, right? A truant and a troublemaker, he was famous amongst the police by the time he was 13, mainly for trespassing. Apparently, you weren’t allowed to climb up construction cranes even if you were wearing a safety vest and a helmet.

But his ‘crimes’ were too minor, and all he got were lectures and slaps on the wrist…until the Miura Youth Organization was made.

Why NOT make him do community service? Why NOT have him work to keep the places he loved safe? Why not put that Himura bloodline ability to good use?

He didn’t really complain in the end. Lotsa cute girls in the Org, after all.

Name: Sato Ren

Appearance: When Ren is not hiding her Kitsune features she has golden hair and fox ears with golden fur that comes to black at the very point. She also has a fluffy golden tail that also comes to a black tip at the end. Ren stands about 5'5 and on the slender side, she has brilliant golden eyes that could leave someone stunned. However she usually makes herself look like a common human girl with black hair and light brown eyes.

Personality: Bit of a tomboy, she rejects her natural cuteness as a kitsune and dresses like a modern day urban youth. She's mostly chill and gets along great with anyone who is willing to get along with her. Ren can be a bit of a prankster with her illusions like making a car look as if it were stolen or thrashed or making the clouds look like they're spelling out bad words. The adults find her pranks childish and mostly just laugh them off, she doesn't try to piss people off, she's just in it for the laughs.

Ren usually tries to hide her kitsune features with her shape-shift ability. She felt that her parents rejected her so in order to get back at them she rejects her kitsune heritage. She is also self loathing and over critical about herself but does her best to hide this from her friends in the MYO, though their are a few who know what she truly thinks.

Abilities:
Shape shifting- Ren is able to change into a fox or change her appearance slightly like looking full human with no tail of fox ears. She is mostly new to this ability and only uses it to hide her ears and tail.

Fox Fire- Ren can produce blue flames which she can use to blast and burn foes.

Illusions- Ren can cast Illusions on people or objects to make them seem as she wants them to seem. She usually uses this ability to prank people. However, if she is feeling a bit testy she can really scare the crap out of her victim.

Skills:
Ren is pretty decent with a computer and is into web design and programming, one day she hopes to become a programmer and work on games or make her own games. She is also pretty good at drawing digital or with a good ol' pencil. Ren's parents made her take a first aid class so she is a certified first aider. Her parents also wanted to be sure that she could defend herself so they made her spend a few years in judo, at first she hated it but she grew to enjoy judo as a sport rather then just something used for self defense.
Equipment:
She usually can be found with a smartphone and a backpack with first aid supplies like gloves, bandages, etc.

Brief Backstory:
Ren was found wondering the streets of the Imaginary distract when she was about four, she seemed to not be able to speak and was scared of people. Eventually she caught up to her peers and began to open up to people. Ren was lucky enough to be adopted by a loving human couple that possessed spiritual powers. Her new parents both worked as law enforcement for the district, however, they were never strict on her. When she'd get in trouble for a prank they would talk to her about getting carried away and to never pull a prank that could harm someone but that was it, they never told her to stop pranking, they even gave her new ideas and targets that wouldn't mind. Ren loves her parents and wants to make them proud so she got involved with the Miura Youth Organization.

Nicknames: The Firefly Maiden, firefly, Lady Hotaru (by her familiars)

Appearance: "I'm not much..."
Personality: Hotaru is a quiet person. She isn't a fan of social interaction, because she has poor conversational skills and is afraid of scaring people away. She is a real softy, but due to her antisocial demeanor people mark her as cold and mean without attempting to meet her. Hotaru hates to see people upset or hurt, and always helps those who need it. However, she still avoids any form of relationship out of fear of getting attached.

Skills: Hotaru has incredible magical abilities, being able to control blessed fire rather than just the usual Wu Xing element. She plays the flute beautifully, and has the ability to sense evil.
Weaknesses: She is not physically strong and often comes down with fevers because her magic is too much for her weak physical body to contain. She cannot fight in close combat and can only summon two familiars at a time. Though she can sense evil, it suffocates her and can make her faint if she's surrounded by it for too long.

Heaven's Note her blessed flute. It increases her spell potency, range, and accuracy. Only the owner can play it, and anyone who hears the notes will be under the spell. The flute will become unbearably hot if anyone else tries to play it but Hotaru.
  • Song of Healing: can slowly heal allies in the area
  • Song of Protection: creates a barrier against evil around allies in immediate area. Makes people inside feel safe.
  • Song of Purity Wards off evil and purifies area around her. Used mostly to clear large miasma.
  • Song of Spirits: summons Will O' the Wisps to do errands such as search for a missing person.
  • Song of Fire: summons golden flames that are blessed to attack with.

Brief Backstory: Her father was an onmyoji who fell in love with her mother, a priestess. He died saving the mother, pregnant with Hotaru, from a wild yokai. Her mother raised her but soon left after her fifteenth birthday, telling Hotaru that she must learn to take care of herself. She left Hotaru with the shrine and it's guardian, Inugami, as well as a shikigami egg that Hotaru raised to later hatch Juju. Inugami caught Nure trying to attack Hotaru in her sleep, and the snake demon asked to become her familiar. Hotaru agreed, much to Inugami's dismay, and now the two constantly argue over their Lady.
